Star Wars Episode VII The Force Awakens rewritten

I know I'm gonna get hate and death threats shoved up the ass for this, but I don't hate the new trilogy. But if I were rewriting it, is it any indication that I think it's perfect? Of course not! But what I'm doing here is reintroducing familiar elements but putting new spins on them. So try to keep an open mind here, okay?

19. Ch 16 Capturing Hux

We then cut to Hux on the bridge of the star killer when another officer approaches him. "General! We're getting a hailing signal from the planet!" "Put it through." A hologram of Holdo appears. "This is Supreme Chancellor Holdo contacting General Hux. I'm sure you'll be pleased to hear that the Senate unanimously voted on surrender. I hereby invite you to my office to discuss terms." Hux smugly smirks. "I'm surprised that the Senate can reach a wise decision so quickly." He turns to the officer. "Prepare my shuttle and point the cannons at the Senate. Do not fire until you receive my signal." "Yes sir."

The camera cuts to Hux entering Holdo's office with her at her desk. "Well Chancellor. For once your Republic managed to surprise me. I did not think that you would be so-"Suddenly Chewbacca jumps out from behind a potted plant and tackles Hux to the ground roaring loudly in his face while he yells "GET THIS BEAST OFF ME!" and he's clearly scared crapless.

They then bind him and tie him to a chair. "You fools! Do you think that taking me hostage will cease the oncoming war?!" Han answers, "No. But it will extend the life of the Republic." "Not for much longer! Besides. What are you going to do, hold me ransom? The New Order is not one for hostage negotiations."

Rey answers. "No. You're going to get us on that dreadnought." "And why would I do that?" Finn replies, "Which other option do you want?" Hux looks to his sides to see Han pointing a blaster at him and Chewbacca snarling in anger. "Fine. I did not make it this far by being suicidal."

Han, Chewbacca, and Rey escort Hux out of the office. Finn waves at them. "Well good luck!" Han turns his attention to him. "Oh no. You're coming with us." "What?! Why!? I go with you, I'm a dead man!" Hux sneers at him. "For a traitor, you have excellent insight." Leia retorts. "Not as much as you think, General." She turns her attention to Finn. "Finn. Being brave is not about having a guarantee of success or survival. It's about being willing to do the right thing. And isn't that what your will told you to do?" Finn pauses then he responds. "Alright. I'll do it."

Han smiles. "I knew you had it in ya kid." Chewbacca grumbles in agreement. Everyone except for Leia and Holdo walk out of the office as the latter looks to her sides. "Where's Bennold?"
