This was all too easy. Hylla thought she would actually have to try, but she already had Elizabeth screaming her name. The girl was just putty in Hylla's hands. Obviously, the girl never had proper sex before, which made this so much easier than it should have been. Hylla was going to have the wings in no time.
It wasn't that Hylla didn't trust the Greek demigods to get the job done. They would probably do an admirable job, but they wouldn't be able to finish it. They would draw all of the guards away, and Elizabeth would have already shown Hylla the wings. Hylla would make her grand escape and wait for the others.
"That was amazing," Elizabeth said breathlessly. She stared up at Hylla. All Hylla could do was grin. Ever since becoming a pirate captain, she had plenty of sexual adventures. It was the best way to relieve stress, and it was something that Hylla was pretty good at. She liked to think so at least.
"Better than any of the boys around here?" Hylla asked. Elizabeth nodded quickly. Hylla nodded, she heard loud footsteps. Her gave moved upwards as the door burst open, and the grin on her face widened.
Elizabeth yelped and tried to scramble away from Hylla. After a moment, Hylla allowed her to. Elizabeth used the blanket to cover herself, and she stared at the door. Hylla sat back on the bed and looked at the door. Her eyes focused on the two guards at the door. They flanked Nora Avenicci.
"What are you. What is. How dare you?" Nora demanded. She was red in the face and staring at them. Hylla's grin turned into a smirk.
"Would you like to join us?" Hylla asked. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Elizabeth's jaw drop. The two guards started to step forward, but Nora held up her hand. "I've always wanted to sleep with an old lady."
"Elizabeth, go to your room," Nora hissed.
"This is my room," Elizabeth whispered.
"Then go to my room!" Nora yelled. Elizabeth gulped and slowly got out of bed. She dressed as the two guards adverted their eyes. Hylla laid back on the bed and rested her arms behind her head. She looked at Elizabeth.
"I can leave my number with your mother," Hylla said. Elizabeth's face turned completely red, and she hurried out of the room. Nora jerked a baton from one of the guards and stepped into the room.
"Leave us," Nora ordered. The two guards hesitated, but they left the room. Hylla sat up and laughed. Nora walked towards her and held out the baton, like she was going to hit Hylla.
"I'm not really scared by that," Hylla said. "Hell, I'll even let you have one free shot before I snap your neck like a twig."
Nora walked towards Hylla and placed the baton to Hylla's chest. Nora spoke, "Who the hell do you think you are?"
"The woman who just fucked your daughter," Hylla answered. Nora grabbed her jaw and pressed her back against the bed. She climbed on top of Hylla and pinned her to the bed. "What are you going to do? Hit me?"
"I've heard all about your reputation," Nora hissed. Hylla just shrugged. Nora leaned in close. "And, I love a good challenge."
"Good challenge?" Hylla asked, and she raised an eyebrow. Nora threw the baton aside and smirked. She kissed Hylla roughly. Hylla stared at the older woman for a moment before kissing her back. "I guess you're taking me up on my offer."
"Just shut up," Nora hissed. She practically shoved her tongue down Hylla's throat. Of course, Hylla had heard rumors that Nora was a cougar, and it seemed like those rumors were true. Hell, this was even better. Nora Avenicci herself was going to give Hylla the wings. Gods, nothing could ruin this night.
Reyna quietly cradled her prize in her suit pocket. Luca himself had led her on a tour of one of their many vaults, and when she found what she wanted, she swiped it without him seeing. Reyna had slipped it into the pocket inside of her suit jacket. It was much smaller than she thought it would be.
Now, they were almost free. They were about twenty feet from the party, and Reyna would be able to slip out and get back to the ship. Jerry had been sent off to be with the party, but Reyna knew he was in for an ass beating.
Reyna had visited their doctor long enough for someone to bandage her stomach. Then, they went on the tour of the vault. Reyna had acted uninterested in everything. She was really just scoping out the vaults for any other times they might visit.
"I apologize again for my son's action," Luca said. He looked at Reyna and tried to smile, but it looked like he was in pain. "Are you sure there is nothing that interest you?"
"When I heard you had a vault full of stuff, I thought it would actually be valuable," Reyna said with a shrug. "I'm going to find my girlfriend and get out of this shit hole."
As they made it towards the door, it suddenly opened it. One of the guards hurried over to Luca's side and whispered in his ear. The smile was lost from Luca's face, and a look of pure rage overtook it. Luca grabbed the baton from the guard and turned swinging it.
Reyna yelled as she felt the baton hit her knee, and she felt something in her knee break. She collapsed to the ground and gripped her knee. Reyna spoke, "What the hell is your problem!"
"You thought you were so clever," Luca hissed. He knelt by Reyna and grabbed her face. "You distracted me, so your sister could violate my wife!"
"I didn't," Reyna hissed. She yelled as Luca stomped down on her injured knee. Reyna hit the ground and hissed in pain. "I don't know what she's doing."
"Grab her," Luca snapped. The guard picked Reyna up and pulled her to her feet. Reyna tried to catch her footing, but she couldn't. Pain tore through her knee, and she collapsed against the guard. "Bring her."
Reyna should have known. She should have known that Hylla's plan would involve her sleeping with someone. And of course, Reyna was the one suffering for it. This always happened. Hylla was always getting her in trouble.
The guard kept Reyna mostly on her feet. They walked through winding hallways and upstairs until they were outside of a room with a pink door. Reyna was thrown right into the door, and she collapsed against it. She fell into the room and hissed in pain.
Reyna gripped her knee and stared at the ground. After a moment, she looked up. Hylla was currently pinning Nora Avenicci to the bed. Both of them were naked, and it was quiet clear what they had been doing. Nora shoved Hylla away and quickly scrambled to her feet. She hid herself with the blanket.
Nora stepped backwards, but Reyna could have sworn there was a grin on the woman's face. Hylla quickly sat up. There was a grin on her face, but it was lost as she looked at Reyna. The only thing Reyna could do was stare up at her sister. What was Hylla's problem?
"You whore," Luca snapped. He took a step forward. "You are violating my wife."
"Your wife wanted it," Hylla said. Luca reached behind him and then pulled out a gun. Reyna stared as the gun was pointed at her sister. "Hey! She came onto me!"
"I invited you into my house, and this is what you do?" Luca demanded. He pointed the gun down at Reyna's knee. "Do you know what I'm going to do?"
"Leave my sister alone," Hylla snapped. She started to stand, but Luca cocked the gun. Reyna slowly reached into her pocket and grabbed her coin. She swallowed painfully and pulled the coin out of her pocket. "Just put the gun down and leave Reyna alone."
"You violated my wife, and I am going to cripple your sister," Luca snapped. As his finger started to pull the trigger, Reyna flipped the coin in her hand. She tensed as the gun fired. There was no pain in her knee, and she took shaky breaths. Aurum stared down at her, and if an automaton dog could look confused, he did. All Reyna could do was hope that the bullet hadn't done too much damage.
Reyna rolled away and grabbed the dagger inside of her suit jacket. She threw it at Luca and heard him gasp. The gun fell a moment later. The guard rushed forward, but Hylla slammed him into the wall. She slammed the back of his head against the wall multiple times before throwing him to the ground.
Hylla grabbed the gun and aimed it at Luca. She fired. Reyna stared in horror as she watched a bullet tear through Luca's skull, ending the man's life in an instant. Nora yelled, and Hylla turned towards her firing two more bullets.
"Don't even touch my sister again," Hylla snapped. There was the sounds of running, and Hylla closed the door. She grabbed onto a bookcase and dragged it towards the door. Then, she did the same for the dresser. All Reyna could do was stare at the bodies of Luca and Nora.
Aurum pressed himself against Reyna. She slowly felt his side and tensed as she felt the bullet wound. He seemed more concerned about her and whimpered softly. Reyna spoke, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
"It's just a dog," Hylla muttered. She threw the gun on the bed and started to put her clothes back on. Reyna glared at her sister and then gripped her knee with both hands. It felt like her kneecap was swollen, maybe even broken. "Alright, we have two options. Defending the room or climbing out of here."
"You killed them," Reyna said. She looked up at Hylla and stared. "How could you just kill them?"
"They were going to kill us," Hylla said. She finished putting on her clothes and walked towards Reyna. Hylla held out her hand.
"Because you were having sex with his wife," Reyna snapped. She tried to scoot backwards. Hylla grabbed Reyna by her tie and then pulled her into a standing position. Reyna hissed and collapsed against her older sister. "Let go of me."
"Do you really want me to let go of you?" Hylla asked. She gave Reyna a look. It took a moment for Reyna to swallow back her pride and anger. She shook her head. Hylla gently sat her back down on the ground and examined her knee. "Did your plan go wrong?"
"No. It went perfect," Reyna muttered. "Piper should be finishing her part soon. And, we don't have a chance of climbing out the window. We're like twenty feet up."
"I have plenty of experience climbing out of girl's windows," Hylla said. She walked towards the window. Reyna looked down at the ground. The truth was that she was beyond pissed at her sister. How many times would she have to suffer for Hylla's rash decisions?
Aurum moved closer to Reyna. She spoke softly, "I'm going to fix that. I promise."
Aurum's tongue licked her face, and Reyna smiled slightly. She pulled the dog close and relaxed against him. Reyna turned him into a coin and placed the coin back into her pocket. She slowly laid on the ground and placed both hands to her face.
An alarm sounded throughout the house. Reyna let out a soft curse. There went the heist, all thanks to Hylla. Of course. The entire time Hylla said Reyna would ruin it, but it turned out that Reyna could actually do a job without trying to get into someone's pants.
"Well, that's great," Hylla said. She sighed and leaned on the wall. "Any ideas?"
"You're the one with experience," Reyna muttered. She turned on her side and gripped her knee. Reyna just hoped that Piper was able to get out of there safely. And hopefully, Nico and Jason hadn't made it inside yet.
"Is it bad?" Hylla asked quietly. For a moment, she sounded guilty. Reyna nodded. "Just stay off of it. I'll make a plan."
"Don't have to tell me twice captain," Reyna muttered. She let out a shaky and pained breath and buried her face in the ground. Reyna just couldn't get that image of her sister shooting Nora and Luca out of her head. Sure, Hylla and her had done violent things before, but there was something scary in Hylla's eyes now.
Reyna closed her eyes and tried to relax. Soon, they would be away from this party, hopefully with the wings. They could then get to island and rescue this Leo kid. Then, Reyna could get away from her sister and carve her own path in life. She just had to make sure that her sister's decisions didn't kill her first.
