PART 2
Chapter 2x1: No MoMA, More Problems
Peter, Arash, Ned, MJ and Eddie where sitting on their lunch table talking about their upcoming field trip to MoMA and what they were gonna do once they have some free time during the trip.
After a few days Eddie finally approached the Prince to apologize for giving him the cold shoulder and hoping the can be back to the same place they were before and the Persian boy agreed, so they were back to talking and even had a couple of dates.
"Now I been to a whole bunch of museums before, but I'm kind of excited about this one actually" - said Arash with a smirk
"I haven't been to a museum before, but I want to see the art and also they have a library, I'm curious about it too" - said MJ
"They have a photography section, I want to check that one out as well as the paints" - said Eddie with an arm on the back of Arash's chair
"I hope we can get to see the video games section" - said Ned excited
"Yeah, they got like vintage type of games on the exhibition" - added Peter
"You both are such nerds" - said MJ
"I agree" - said Arash doing a quiet fist pump with MJ without them even looking at each other or making much deal about it - "but I may check that out as well" - he added
"I didn't know you could be into that" - said Eddie curiously smirking at the Prince
"I'm actually curious to see everything" - stated Arash - "I suck at videogames, you guys know that" - he said to Peter and Ned - "but one time I went to an Arcade in my home country and I was very good at the games there, if they are like that, I can maybe finally beat your guys asses on something" - he explained with a smile
"Well, I will like to see that" - said Peter with a challenging smirk crossing his arms
"So...Eddie is not going to the MoMA trip" - declared Arash looking at a new text he got on his phone while he and Peter were sitting on the edge of a rooftop after patrol
"Why?" - asked Peter curiously
"The school decided to schedule the trip for the seniors other day as they could only could get the permission for one group for tomorrow" - explained Arash
"Oh...well I guess you are gonna sit with me on the bus after all" - said Peter
"Peter, I say yes to sit with you on the bus before Eddie told us that maybe the seniors where going on the trip as well and I was going to keep that promise, like the saying goes "bros before hoes", just because Eddie and I are dating doesn't mean I was blowing you off" - said Arash with a smirk
"Yeah...ok" - said Peter a little nervously
"Ok, that's a weird reaction, what's up Tiger?" - Asked Arash confused
"Nothing...nothing...I'm just nervous for the trip" - said Peter
"Is just a school trip, I mean this time we are gonna enjoy it, not like the one for the Decathlon competition, I hope" - said Arash rolling his eyes
"Is just that...I want to impress someone on this trip" - said Peter
"Really?" - Asked Arash more curious now - "you got over Liz pretty quick then" - he added while poking Peter's side with his elbow
"I don't know...I think I kinda wasn't that into Liz actually" - said Peter
"But Ned said that you had a crush on her for a long time" - said Arash now confused
"Yeah, but I don't know, things change" - said Peter
"Well who is this new girl?" - teased Arash trying to hide his discomfort
"Mmmm...well..." - stutter Peter
"Wait!" - Interrupted Arash - "...you said you wanted to impress someone in the trip" - he said getting suddenly quiet while his mind started to race before stopped and gasped in surprise - "Oh my god!" - He said almost screeching
"I can explain" - said Peter defending himself freaking out a little
"You like MJ?" - asked Arash trying not be loud
"What? Wait...I..." - stutter Peter
"It's alright Peter" - interrupted saying Arash even though he felt that it wasn't really alright - "you don't need to explain, MJ is awesome and she is funny in a sort of dark way, besides I think I have seen her looking at you a couple of times...maybe you should sit with her then, I can sit with Ned" - he said while looking at the distance
"Cat..." - trailed Peter
"Well, the city seems ok today" - Interrupted Arash - "I think we can go home, I gotta choose my outfit for the trip, so..." - he said standing up - "...yeah" - he added
Before Peter could say anything else, the Persian boy made a force field around him and floated away while the brown haired boy signed and swing away a little behind him until they both arrived to the building into their respective apartments.
"Please guys be careful" - said May while giving a hug to the Persian boy and then to his nephew - "and remember to not just jump into anything, you guys are far from Queens and it can be dangerous" - she said more serious to both of them
"I know May, I know" - said Peter rolling his eyes
"Well, you both enjoy the trip, ok?" - said May
"Well do, bye May" - said Peter grabbing Arash's hand to drag him to the bus
"Bye May" - said Arash as he got inside the bus with Peter - "Peter, I can walk by myself you know?" - complained Arash
MJ was already inside on the back of the bus, she greeted both boys with a nod, Arash turned to look at Peter who just pressed his lips together when he looked at MJ and nod back at her, the brown haired boy still holding the Prince's hand dragged him to a sit, he sat by the window while the Persian boy sat next to him.
"I saw an empty sit next to MJ...sure you don't wanna go with her?" - whispered Arash
"Then why would I work so hard on doing a playlist for both of us to listen during the whole ride?" - asked Peter arching an eyebrow
"You did a playlist for us to listen?" - asked Arash blushing
"Yeah...I mean..." - trailed Peter before clearing his throat - "just thought it would be nice" - he admitted blushing as well
Ned arrived short after sitting on the seat in front of both boys, they chatted a little but once the bus started to move the Filipino distracted himself with a game thing and Arash was surprised that Peter didn't tag along, instead he took out the headphones to share one side with the Persian boy and listen to the playlist he did for the trip.
Arash was more than happy with Peter's playlist, but what really made it all better was the fact that the brown haired boy actually took the time to do this, but even he liked the gesture he tried not to make a big deal out of it because now apparently Peter is into MJ.
At some point during some acoustic song that was playing, Arash lay his head on Peter's shoulder and fall sleep, he was enjoying the playlist but last night he didn't get enough sleep and was feeling very tired.
The spider boy turned to look at the Persian boy sleeping in his shoulder smiling at the sight, he started to move the hand of the opposite shoulder to brush some hair that fall on the face of the Prince when the hairs on his arms stand up, he turned to look out the window and saw a spaceship.
"Oh god...Cat...Cat...wake up" - said Peter shaking the boy
"What...did we arrive?" - Asked Arash waking up and realizing he fall sleep on the other boy's shoulder - "oh god...sorry Peter...I di-" - he started to say
"Don't worry, look!" - Interrupted Peter pointing at the window
"What is that?" - asked Arash confused
"It's like some kind of spaceship, we must go there" - said Peter
"Ok, but first we need to get out of the bus" - said Arash making Peter moved to tap Ned on the shoulder to call his attention but slapped him lightly in the face without noticing as he was looking at the spaceship through the window
"Ned, hey, we need you to cause a distraction" - said Peter making the boy take out his headphones and turn at the window seeing the spaceship
"Holy shit! We're all gonna die! There's a spaceship" - called out Ned to the rest of the bus making everybody go the windows and look outside
Arash turned himself and the boy on his side invisible, Peter opened the emergency exist on the top of the bus using his web shooters, he got out first to the top of the bus and helped the Prince to get out as well, once both were out Arash made a force field to float and move them as quick as possible.
Once on the rooftop of a building close to the spaceship location, both boys got their suits from their backpacks and started to get change, Arash still invisible while Peter took off everything except his underwear and getting quickly into his spider suit with the Prince giving turned his back to the boy to not see him.
"Cat, are you ready?" - asked Peter already on his suit standing close to the edge of the building watching in front of him using Karen to scan the surrounding
"Yeah...Peter...we must be careful, I really got a bad feeling about this" - warned Arash as he made himself visible again - "my ring is acting out about this whole thing" - he said worried as he looked at his ring flicking with energy
"Mr. Stark is in there fighting" - stated Peter before he turned and saw the nervous expression in Arash's face - "Hey" - he said standing in front of the Persian boy and grabbed his hands - "if Mr. Stark is there whatever it is it's gonna end well" - he assured
"Ok...ok, let's go" - said Arash as his eyes and ring glowed golden
A/N: Ok guys I know I should be excited first about starting to share Part 2 here, but let me address this first, Chadwick Boseman...like...he looked like such a good hearted man and really not so immerse in the whole Hollywood bullshit, so his lost really hits also as a Marvel fan the way he portrayed T'Challa was genius and I really can't see anyone following that as graciously as he did, but aside from that I really hope any use of him on this story lives up to his legacy, reason why I made him friendly with Arash is because besides being accurate as both being a Prince (well before T'Chaka's dead) and also because I really liked his character, but anyway, I just wanna say RIP Chadwick Boseman and may his legacy endure forever not only for what he did with "Black Panther" but all his work as an actor and as a person that used his voice and platform to support great causes .
With that being said I'm kinda proud of how this part came along so I'm excited to share it with y'all while I also work on Part 3 which is going pretty well.
