23. Chapter 16

Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing well with the pandemic going around.

I want to give special thanks to Helghast honored guard, RabidArmenian and Nightroad816 for helping my story to progress, as well as reviewers for sharing their ideas.

On that topic, I have to admit that I almost lost my focus on the story, there hasn't been much focus on the Metal Gear characters and the Code Geass characters in the recent chapters. Ironically, thanks to the quarantine, I was able to spend time in my house and played again Metal Gear games and watched Code Geass. It helped me remember my roots, so I'll go back to my old format.

Just a reminder, the side stories are optional parts for all the mercenary leader characters I introduced, as well as the special recruit characters, it only contains info on what is happening in Mother Base. Some of them will appear during the main story, but only for a small plot convenience. I will focus the main story on the Metal Gear and Code Geass settings.

This chapter is more like having a break from the fights, but it will explore some important events that will happen in future chapter.

I also want to announce that Metal Gear Solid Code Zero is almost reaching to its end. Only 3 or 4 chapters left.

Mother Base, the next day

After the battle of Fukuoka Base. The opinion about the Black Knights were mixed amongst the Japanese population. Some praised them, while others didn't, saying that they're making the matter worse with Britannians treating with them with more prejudice. Still, those were only the minority and the Black Knights kept gaining more support

With MSF, everyone's thought remained the same or improved, except Britannia whose got it worse. With each involvement with the mercenary nation, they lose more credibility and influence, it was only a matter of time before they lose everything they conquered. And during those harsh times, the emperor had yet to announce about this matter.

As for the Japanese opinion about MSF, they praised them, saying that they are a blessing of gods. Ever since they appeared, as well as the Black Knights, Britannia was focused on them that they got no time to be discriminating on the Japanese due to the battles, sabotages and war with Big Boss and Zero's forces. This gave the Japanese a moment of peace and tranquility. One would think that the Japanese would resort to riot or terrorisms when the Britannians weren't around, but there were none, mainly due to the fact that most of the Japanese resistance forces joined the Black Knights.

After Big Boss and Zero returned, the Black Knights were offered to stay in Mother Base for a while longer. This decision came from Miller and Big Boss, who have decided to train the Black Knights in order to improve their performance as soldiers and fighters.

Lelouch accepted this seeing this as an advantage for the Black Knights to be trained by the best soldiers. The Black Knights gladly accepted, who wouldn't want to be trained by a group of professional soldiers that defeated Britannia?

At this moment, they were all doing target practice outdoors. Ocelot and Big Boss were observing on the posture and how they shoot with their handguns.

Most of the Black Knight members were quite average. The ones that were able to impress them both were the first members of the Black Knights and the JLF.

Kallen, Tohdoh and the 4 Holy Sword members performances were pretty good. They were well trained, and their concentrations are as thin as a katana. If anyone ask Ocelot, he would have a good challenge on fighting with any of them.

Ohgi, Minami and Inoue were somewhat good, but they could see that Ohgi had a small struggle to aim accurately, Minami takes a little longer to load his handgun and Inoue has a tendency to lose her focus. But it did not matter, these issues can be corrected.

As for Sugiyama, Yoshida and Tamaki. Sugiyama manages to hit the targets, but his posture was incorrect, thus not allowing him to move quickly the gun. Yoshida was too stiff with his body and Tamaki… He's using the cowboy posture.

"Oh yeah, that's right!" Shouted Tamaki as he shot the targets and then withdrew the handgun.

Ocelot walked next to him and spoke.

"Again"

"Huh?" Tamaki looked at him confused. This attracted the attention of the other Black Knight members.

"What did Tamaki do this time?" Thought Kallen.

"Do that again"

"Huh, ok" Said Tamaki nerviously.

Behind them, Big Boss was observing them and wondering what Ocelot have in mind.

Tamaki then did the same previous movement. He positioned himself and then shot at the target. Only to have his gun jam in the process.

"What the hell?" Said Tamaki as he inspected his gun and saw that the bullet got stuck in the slide.

Ocelot extended his hand forward to Tamaki, which was telling him to give him the gun.

Tamaki obliged as he handed him his handgun.

Ocelot then pressed the eject button, releasing the magazine and handed it to Tamaki.

"This should be interesting" Thought Asahina.

"You see that in the movies?" Asked Ocelot while he was softly moving the slide to unjam the bullet.

"Well, I always thought that the cowboys in those western movies were pretty cool" Said Tamaki.

Ocelot then showed the handgun in his hand to Tamaki.

"That's an automatic, don't bother trying to dampen the recoil. You do that with a revolver" Explained Ocelot.

Kallen, Ohgi, Minami,Inoue, Tohdoh and the 4 holy swords, knew what Ocelot was talking about. Since Kallen, Tohdoh and the 4 holy swords are hardened soldiers, they had time to read and gain some knowledge about guns and other military equipments. Ohgi, Minami and Inoue did the same when they started their resistance group. The rest of the Black Knight members were curious and surprised at this info.

"I-I see, I didn't know that" Said Tamaki in surprise.

"Now you do" Said Ocelot as he looked at the rest of the Black Knights.

"Not all of you are amateurs, so I'm going to keep this short" Spoke Ocelot, gaining their attention.

"You are all a force to be reckoned with. The Order of the Black Knights may not be as big as Militaire Sans Frontieres, but it got the world's attention. You are not some tribal militia. So don't act like one" Said Ocelot. He paused for a second for the Black Knights members to process it.

"You will learn how a real soldier fights. You will forget, everything the movies taught you. And if I catch you doing something else… You'll know it" Said Ocelot with the last part almost threatening, which some of the Black Knight members gulped.

"Engravings…" Said Ocelot as he inspected the handgun and then showed it to Tamaki, which it was decorated with flames and the Japanese word "Ikari" for rage.

"Give you no tactical advantage whatsoever"

Tamaki hung his head a little low in embarrassment.

"But that was some fancy shooting" Said suddenly Ocelot, gaining his attention again.

"Pretty good" Ocelot complimented as he walked away with the gun.

The Black Knight members reflected on what Ocelot said.

After Big Boss watched the whole thing, he couldn't help but chuckle at the nostalgia he was feeling.

"This bring back memories" Big Boss thought, remembering how himself did the same thing 10 years ago with Ocelot when he first met him.

"Uuuh, I'm not sure if should feel proud or ashamed" Said Tamaki with a confused tone.

"Coming from Big Boss right hand, I'd would say that he praised you" Said Sugiyama as he put a hand on Tamaki's shoulder.

After the Black Knights finished the target practice, they went to the next training, hand to hand combat.

This time is Miller who will inspect the Black Knights fighting style while Big Boss teaches them some basic CQC.

All they could say is that 60 percent of them are… Terrible.

Big Boss and Miller could see why they lack physical combat, since everyone rely on Knightmares, no one decided to train physically, seeing that it meant nothing when it's against a Knightmare.

Of course, that is entirely false. No matter how advanced the technology is, everyone must learn to fight.

Miller and Big Boss also saw that not all of them were ignorant about it. Kallen, Tohdoh, the 4 holy swords, Ohgi, Minami, Sugiyama, Inoue, Yoshida and even Tamaki know of its importance. Just like the target practice. Kallen, Tohdoh and the 4 holy swords exceed in that field. Kallen having trained secretly to become a fighter, Tohdoh and the 4 holy swords, having been an instructor before and soldiers respectively. The original members of the Black Knights were above average. They have the potential to become professionals if trained properly.

For the newer members of the Black Knights… To sum it up, they need A LOT of work.

"After seeing your demonstration on hand to hand combat, all I can is that some of you are well trained. However, I saw many who lacks strength and ability. I won't say who those are. But I will say this, after we finish this session, you will need to work and train harder in order to improve your body and mind" Said Big Boss while staring each one of them.

"Excuse me sir, may I ask a question?" Suddenly asked a Black Knight member.

"Sure, what is it?"

"With all due respect, what is the point of physical training? We are all living in a future where Knightmares are common around and everyone is using gun. They can kill us in an instant"

Big Boss sighed mentally at the ignorance of this Black Knight, although that may be what half of them think.

"While that is true, that we live in modern world with advanced technology, soldiers need to be prepared for everything when they are stripped of their weapons and equipment. We must use all the parts of our body to fight the enemy when we are not on a Knightmare. As for firearms, you can disable them in close quarter combat, also known as CQC." Explained Big Boss.

"Since your stay here is going to be short, I'll give you all the necessary advices on CQC, so you can train it yourselves." Big Boss then started to give them some lessons.

Big Boss then felt somewhat nostalgic when he was teaching the Black Knights how to use CQC, it reminded him the time when The Boss taught him. Although he finally moved on after the Peace Walker Incident, deep inside him, he still remember her as his mother figure.

A minute later, the Black Knights were practicing CQC with MSF soldiers. Kallen was practicing her fighting skills with Miller. He evaluated her skills; all he could say was that she improved since they first met in the Kawaguchi Hotel. Her speed and strength increased moderately and her coordination is still on point.

Seconds later, they stopped their practice.

"You did pretty well, Kallen" Complimented Miller.

"Thank you, Miller-san. My skills have improved since we last met" Said Kallen with a smirk.

"Oh, I bet. Looks like you took some notes from Big Boss" Said Miller.

Kallen laughed softly "Big Boss is the most badass soldier I have ever met in my life. I can see why people would follow him"

She wouldn't admit it openly, but she sees Big Boss as her role model due to his charisma, ideology and combat skills. The time when MSF managed to repel Britannia's invading forces increased her hope that Britannia can be defeated and lead to a better future for Japan.

After Big Boss gave his advices to the Black Knight's he was then approached by Tohdoh.

"Big Boss. It's an honor to meet you in person" Tohdoh bowed his body.

"Kyoshiro Tohdoh, also known as Tohdoh of Miracles. It's also an honor to meet you" Replied Big Boss as he nodded his head, he heard a lot about this man and he must admit, Tohdoh is really a skilled soldier and commander.

"I just wanted to say that your training regime are quite exceptional. Anything you taught to the Black Knights will surely take it to the heart.

Big Boss smiled as he replied "Thank you. I do what I can to any fellow soldier"

"If it's not too much to ask, I'd like to have a spar with you" Said Tohdoh.

The statement caught the attention of Miller, several MSF soldiers who are currently in there and all the Black Knight members.

Big Boss's frown a little as his left eyebrow raised in interest.

"A spar?" Asked Big Boss.

"Yes. I want to test my strength against the famed legendary soldier." Said Tohdoh with eagerness.

Big Boss then smirked. It has been a while since someone asked him for a match.

"Sure"

Most of the present gasped and whispered at Big Boss accepting Tohdoh's challenge.

Minutes later, Big Boss and Tohdoh were facing each other with everyone watching them with excitement. Miller was standing in the middle as the arbiter.

Big Boss and Tohdoh prepare themselves with their own battle stances.

"Ready?"

Both fighters focused on each other, waiting for the moment.

"Start!"

Tohdoh charged at Big Boss, he delivered a forward punch with his right hand. Big Boss countered the attack by raising his left arm, causing both arms to clash each other. Big Boss then used one of his CQC moves. With his right arm, he grabbed Tohdoh's right arm and with his left hand, he fully grabbed his right arm was about to toss him behind.

Tohdoh's body was flipped in a 180 angle, but right before he fell on his back, during the 90 angle, he moved his legs backward, so instead of falling on his back, he landed on his feet. Both men's arms were twisted on their backs. Big Boss then used the strength of his arms to flip his arms. This caused the two flip circularly. Big Boss maintained balance of his legs after one flip, then he took 2 steps to maintain his distance. Tohdoh almost fell to the ground, but he stopped by putting his left hand on the ground and then he pushed forward for his body to move backward. Tohdoh then straighten up and went to his battle stance facing Big Boss again.

Big Boss charged at Tohdoh, then he used his basic CQC attack. He punched forward with his right hand on Tohdoh's left side, he blocked Big Boss attack with his left arm, then Big Boss delivered another punch with his right hand to the right side of his body. Tohdoh stopped the attack by catching the fist with his right hand's palm. Right after that, Big Boss delivered a kick to his legs. By then, Tohdoh didn't react in time, so the kick managed to knock his legs, causing him to fall down, but Tohdoh was able to take advantage of this.

After Tohdoh fell to the ground, he moved his body circularly to deliver a horizontal kick to Big Boss's legs. Luckily Big Boss was able to react and jump back before the kick would hit him. Tohdoh took this moment to get up and go back to his combat stance.

Both were having their own thoughts at each other. Tohdoh thought that Big Boss was very skilled and impressive fighter. Most people he fought or had spar, no one has ever been able to make this exhilarating. Big Boss couldn't help but smirk mentally, it has been a long time since he had a strong opponent who could counter his CQC moves.

Tohdoh charged at Big Boss, he rose his right leg and delivered a horizontal kick, Big Boss ducked and then did an uppercut with his right arm. Tohdoh's eyes widened a little in shock as he saw the fist going to him. He quickly blocked the attack by crossing his arms together and take the blown against the center of his arms. As the fist impacted the arms, his body recoiled a little. His eyes strained and focused with the impact. Tohdoh then used his left hand to grab Big Boss arm, followed by his right hand and tried to toss him behind.

Big Boss instantly knew what Tohdoh was trying to do, so he countered it by doing what Ocelot did when he first fought him. As soon as his body was twisted to the left side, he pushed his legs forward to turn his body in a 180 degree, the movement was so fast that Tohdoh lost his grip on Big Boss's arm, and then Big Boss twirled his body in a gymnastic way and landed on the ground. Taking this very moment, Big Boss charged at Tohdoh and performed his CQC combo (The one from MGS Ground Zero)

Tohdoh blocked the first two attacks with his arms, but the speed was to fast for him to counter the rest, so Big Boss hit his leg with a kick then twirled his body to gain the momentum and strength and launched his fist on Tohdoh. The punch hit Tohdoh, and the impact was powerful enough to knock him down.

Everyone was stunned and amazed on how expertly these 2 fought. Had it been anyone of the Black Knight members or MSF soldiers against Big Boss or Tohdoh, this match would have been over in a matter of seconds. The 4 holy swords, specifically Chiba, was shocked and worried when Tohdoh received that beating.

Tohdoh got up and faced Big Boss, but instead on going back to his combat stance, he simply bowed his head

"I give up"

This surprised the Black Knight members, especially the 4 holy swords, since they thought that Tohdoh would continue.

"Thank you, Big Boss. I'm satisfied with your combat skills" Said Tohdoh gratefully.

Big Boss dropped his stance.

"You are pretty good, Kyoshiro Tohdoh. It's been a while since I had an opponent who could counter my CQC moves" Praised Big Boss.

Tohdoh let out a small smile as he nodded at Big Boss, showing him that he respects him as a great warrior.

After he finished the lessons, Big Boss provided them lunch in the Mess Hall, so most of the Black Knight members left, leaving with Big Boss and Miller the important members of the Black Knights, which are Zero, Kallen, Ohgi, Tohdoh, the 4 Holy swords and Diethard.

"Excuse me, Big Boss" Big Boss turned around to see who called him and It turned out to be the man who he had yet to meet, Diethard Ried.

"Yes? Mr…?"

"Diethard Ried, Head of information, espionage and public relations of the Black Knights." Diethard introduced himself. He let out his right hand for a handshake. He wouldn't admit it to anyone, but he was feeling very nervous at the presence of the legendary soldier.

"I-It is a really a pleasure to meet you" Said Diethard with a nervous tone, which kinda surprised the present Black Knight members since he always maintained a calmed expression.

Big Boss stared at him a bit, wondering what he wants. Then he extended his left arm to handshake his hand.

"Likewise. So, what can I do for you?" Asked Big Boss.

Diethard coughed a bit to clear his throat and then composed himself.

"Well. I was thinking if I could have an interview with you" Replied Diethard.

"Of course, he would do that" Thought Zero, Kallen and Ohgi, remembering that this man is a journalist who would document any important events, and now that he was in the presence of Big Boss, he would not waste his chance of getting one of the documentary of the age.

Big Boss and Miller were feeling a little anxious on what Diethard want. They can feel that this man has some kind of hidden agenda for whatever reason. They couldn't spill out any kind of information that could jeopardize the safety of Outer Heaven.

Big Boss decided to play along a bit, to see what his intentions really are.

"Interview?" Asked Big Boss.

"Yes! You see, not only I'm the man who conducts information and espionage for the Black Knights, but I'm also a journalist. My biggest goal is to document, as well as being the witness, all the important events that will lead to a new era! Amongst the ones who are capable to do that, are The Order of the Black Knights, and of course, Militaire Sans Frontieres." Explained Diethard, his tone showing motivation.

"Since the Black Knights were able to meet you here in the main base. I thought this would be a good opportunity to know how the legendary soldier was able to create such an extraordinary nation" Continued Diethard. This actually caught the attention of the rest of the Black Knights who were also wondering how MSF was created and how they were able to get this big without catching the attention of Britannia. Kallen already had an idea since Big Boss told her and Suzaku about himself, but yet, she also wanted to know how MSF was formed.

"Oh shit" Miller thought at this situation. It wasn't that he never thought this would happen, he knew that sooner or later they would have to explain themselves. The problem was that it was an ambitions journalist who will document everything Big Boss and himself would say, and if any MSF member spill out by accident something incoherent with their cover story, things would get more complicated.

Big Boss thought about it, whether he would accept or decline it. On one hand, he could accept the interview and tell him his altered story, which could be influential for soldiers and maybe civilians if Diethard shows it, as long as his soldiers play their part well with their cover stories. On the other hand, he could decline it and tell him that he would prefer secrecy. The last thing he need is to have another invading force on his doorstep. Also, He doesn't know how much he would stay in this world, and his main source of returning him and his soldiers home has yet to make his appearance.

But now that he thought about it, the truth would have to be revealed eventually to the recruits he gained. From the Britannian, Europia, Chinese Federation soldiers and volunteers, as well as the integrated mercenary factions.

Big Boss then made his decision after thinking about it.

"Yes"

Miller looked at him in shock, wondering if that is a good option.

The rest were surprised, but were also feeling interested to know more about Big Boss.

Diethard smirked widely, he would finally get to document one of the greatest, if not, the most important interview in his whole career as journalist.

"But, only a few aspects about my formation as a soldier. The rest will be finished after the conflict between the Order of the Black Knights and Britannia." Said Big Boss, establishing his conditions for the interview. This way, he can reveal some harmless information about himself while not endangering his home.

Diethard frowned a little, but he still maintained his smile. He would at least get something and then wait for the rest.

"Of course, I have no objection"

...

Meanwhile, in Area 11, Viceroy Palace.

…

Outside of the Viceroy Palace. Cornelia, along with her 2 knight, Guilford and Darlton, along with a contingency of Britannian troops, were standing in front of Schneizel.

"Good work bringing them here from Area 18 in one night. Your forces are excellent, Cornelia" Praised Schneizel.

"You flatter me. I'm honored you could get your regular forces to fill in for them, my brother" Said Cornelia in an almost sad tone.

"It was the least I could do" Replied Schneizel.

"Are you sure about this? You lost plenty of soldiers during the invasion to Militaire Sans Frontieres home base" Asked Cornelia with concern.

"It's all right. I can replenish my troops in our homeland" Reassured Schneizel.

"Oh, and about that matter Bartley's in charge of…"

"Oh yes, I don't mind, but will that really be of any use to us?" Asked Cornelia.

"I'm sure that it will come in handy when the time comes. Ah, I almost forgot Cornelia… Father wants to speak with you" Said Schneizel.

"Father?!" Said Cornelia in surprise.

"Yes, father wish to speak about an important matter" Said Schneizel. He was also surprised that suddenly he would contact him and tell him that he needs to talk with Cornelia.

"Of course. When does he want to speak with me?" Said Cornelia. She was very curious on what the emperor would like to speak about.

"Today, at dawn in his throne"

Night time, in Ashford Academy

…

Once the Black Knights returned to Japan, everyone left to take a rest and wait for Zero's next plan. Everyone was resting, except Lelouch.

Currently he is in a classroom with Suzaku doing their exams, with a teacher to watch over them.

"Yes, it's true that Chinese Federation intervention and terrorist acts of the Black Knights and Militaire Sans Frontieres have caused all sorts of disruption to our society. However, that is a completely separate issue to this! The fact remains that you both have been absent from class too often! I don't care how good your grades are and I don't care that you're Princess Euphemia's knight! If you don't enough attendance days, you have to repeat a year!" the teacher scolded the boys.

Outside of the classroom, all the teachers from their respective fields, including Huey and Strangelove, are waiting for their turn to give them their tests.

Huey and Strangelove were having some thoughts during their time as undercover teachers. While they did enjoy this job as teachers, they were feeling a little homesick, they missed working with their colleagues in Mother Base. It was understandable since they are military scientists. But they were able to dismiss that thought since they haven't forgotten their objectives.

They already know that Suzaku is the Princess Euphemia's knight. Lelouch is a genius, but him missing his classes made them feel that something wasn't right, like he is having a double life or something. The same can be said with Kallen, as she also disappears, almost as same as Lelouch. But the biggest impact is Nina, the girl was able to formulate in her computer, metallic chemical components to create a bomb, which could be considered this world's atomic bomb.

"Sounds like she's still at it"

"She might go on all night"

The teachers started to comment about the current teacher inside the classroom, who is still scolding them.

"Let's hope that we won't fall asleep, I still have some student's exams that I need to finish correcting" Commented Huey with a small chuckle.

"You can say that again, Huey. I still have to stay awake to do my other chores" Complained one of the teachers.

"Sucks to be you" Said one of the teachers, which caused the others laugh, including Huey and Strangelove.

"Since we are reaching the finale of this semester, what would you guys do during vacations? Asked one of them.

"I plan to go back to mainland and spend some time with my family. They must be missing me!"

"I agree, the last time I talked with my wife was almost 3 months ago"

"I myself plan to go to the beach, I need a good sun bath!"

"So Huey, Vanessa. Where would you two go?"

Huey and Strangelove thought for a second before replying.

"I think I'd do some sightseeing, there are so many beautiful places to visit" Said Huey happily.

"I usually don't rest, working and teaching is my passion" Said Strangelove with a serious tone.

"You've got to relax Vanessa! Surely a gorgeous woman like you need a rest once in a while" Said the gym teacher.

Strangelove mentally sighed at the flirty attempt of the gym teacher. Ever since she started her cover, she gained a lot of popularity with students and teachers, being the most beautiful woman in the ENTIRE academy. On occasions, she would get flowers or chocolates from male students and teachers whenever she enters a classroom and teacher rooms, especially when it was Valentine day. Some students and teachers even attempted to have a date with her.

She of course declined them, saying that she is not interested. While she felt flattered, Strangelove had important things to do than engaging these activities.

With female students, many of them admires her self-confidence and strictness, while some tried to become more… intimate.

"Well, if I was to take a break, I'd like to rest next to a pool" Replied Strangelove.

"Huh! That's not a bad idea!" Said the gym teacher.

Some hours later, almost all the teachers finished their exams with Lelouch and Suzaku, leaving only Huey and Strangelove.

Huey could only sigh in pity at the 2 unfortunate students for having to go through this because of their doble lives.

"Well, boys. Let's get this over…" Started Huey as he handed them the tests.

The next day, 10:30 am, at the gates of Ashford Academy.

There was a crowd of civilians that were entering the academy for the special event that was holding there. Amongst the crowd, there stood out 3 individuals. A certain blond man with sunglasses, a grey-haired man with a red scarf, and a one-eyed man, wearing their own signature outfits.

"It feels so good to be back!" Said Miller with a relaxed tone.

"Sure is. It feels nicer since we left" Added Ocelot.

"This is still not a good idea" Said in annoyance Big Boss.

"Come on, Boss. There is no harm on taking a break!" Encouraged Miller.

It started a hours ago when Miller suggested to go back to Japan and take a break after months of fighting. He invited Big Boss and Ocelot to accompany him. At first, they both declined. Saying that it's not a good wondering around, especially when Miller told them that their destination would be Ashford Academy. Logically, that would be a definite no, since Suzaku, the Knight of Euphemia, assist there and they could be spotted.

Miller protested a bit, saying that it shouldn't be any problem for Big Boss, who is the expert on infiltration, and nobody would recognize Ocelot. Not only that, but Kallen is also there. She can help them if anything gets ugly.

At the end they finally agreed with Miller and they went with him, and as for their outfits, Miller took the liberty of removing their badges of MSF.

"I see this as an absolute win and win, don't you guys think?" Said Miller with a smirk.

"Not if it's taking a walk inside the enemy territory. And one problem is that "Jack" had to check his collection of outfits" Said Ocelot humorously at the last part as Big Boss used an old disguise he hadn't seen in a very long time.

The old scientist outfit, the same one he used in operation Snake Eater. He remembered how silly this outfit was when he used it to infiltrate. It reminded him of the old comic book super hero Superman, Clark Kent. How was no one able to identify him during that time in the facility, he'll never know.

And to top it… He was using the Raikov mask.

"Damn it, I forgot how uncomfortable is wearing this!" Said Big Boss as he was rubbing his right-side cheek. He hoped that he would never ever use this mask again, it'd give him PTSD of a certain Russian colonel.

"Look at the perks, at least no one will recognize you" Said Miller with a smirk, this also caused Ocelot to laugh at Big Boss misfortune.

Big Boss grumbled as the three walked past the gates. They observed the buildings and their surroundings. The road to the main entrance was decorated with water pounds with lighthouses, 2 large campus on the sides of the main entrance which is where the stands are, and 2 small buildings, one next to the academy and the other on the opposite side, possibly store rooms. The academy itself was really huge and outstanding. It had a modern built but at the same time felt ancient, like it was built one hundred years ago. Lots of students were walking around happily as they were preparing for the festival, they wore normal school attires, while there are others with costumes.

One thing that caught their attention is a…giant circular oven like? Located to the west side of the academy.

"Boss, what do you think about that?" Whispered Ocelot.

"Hmmm, not sure. We should check it later" Replied Big Boss in thought.

Just then, the loud voice resounded through the whole place.

"Ladies and gentlemen! The moment you have all been waiting for! The Ashford Academy school festival, the most open event in Tokyo Settlement, is about to begin!" Announced Milly Ashford with an exciting tone through the academy's loudspeakers.

"Huh, looks like it's about to begin!" Said Miller with an excited tone.

"The start will be announced by the following voice!"

"Following voice?" Said Ocelot in wonder.

"MEOW!"

And with that, all the students cheered loudly.

"What the hell?" Questioned Big Boss, suddenly he remembered a long time ago, that Ocelot would meow to call out his unit.

Big Boss gazed at Ocelot, who was actually smirking.

"No. Just no." Reprimanded Big Boss. The result was Ocelot laughing.

"Don't worry,Boss. I'm sure there are no cats here!" Miller joined as he was also laughing.

"It's gonna be a long day" Sighed Big Boss as the three continued to walk.

Suddenly, 5 students, 4 of them being female, walked to them.

"Welcome to Ashford Academy school festival!"

"We have a large selection of entertainment that you'll find it appealing!"

"Let us be your guides, good sirs!"

"Nice outfit! Are you guys cosplayers?"

"Can we take some pictures with you?"

The Big Boss and Ocelot felt a little awkward at the situation since they never had any experience with young school girls.

Miller decided to take the matter with his hands.

"It'd be an honor to have you lovely ladies guide us" Said Miller with a charming tone.

The 4 girls were excited as they grabbed Miller, Ocelot and Big Boss arms and lead them to the campus.

The male student followed them while saying with a depressed tone "Wish I could be manly and handsome like these 3 men"

At the balcony

Lelouch was currently talking through his communicator with Diethard, doing his preparation for the next part of his plan. While he was talking, he leaned at the banister to look around the campus and entrance.

"We've collected all the data on the emergency countermeasures used in all sectors" spoke Diethard.

Lelouch then noticed almost in shock that a cameraman was focusing on him.

"The media?" He thought, then he leaned back in order to avoid being seen on camera.

"We've ascertained the solar panels used in each settlement, as well as the associated energy storage sites. What about those underground collaborators?" Continued Diethard.

"I can handle that by myself, I've already checked 72 percent of them What about Tohdoh?"

"He's working up a list of occupation targets, like broadcasting stations and others" While Diethard kept informing him. Lelouch packed whatever he had at the moment and proceed to go to the exit of the balcony.

"Trouble! We've got major trouble!"

Lelouch saw that it was Milly shouting and running to him frantically.

"I'll contact you later" Whispered Lelouch as he cutoff his com.

"Trouble?" Said Diethard, wondering what kind of trouble was Zero having on the other side.

Milly was dragging Lelouch's right arm while walking through the entrance.

"What are you goofing off for?! You are the executive chairman, aren't you?!" Scolded Milly.

"But things are running without a problem" Lelouch stated with a calming tone

"Besides, you are in charge, aren't you? It was 2 meter till wide last year, but then you suddenly declared we had to have a 12-meter pizza this year."

"Is it not amazing? Once it's finished, it'll be the largest one of its type in the world!" Said Milly with excitement at making the largest pizza in the world.

"Just the oven and ingredients alone are causing uproar" Retorted Lelouch.

"And now a TV crew is here? Don't you know we can't show our faces?" Said Lelouch with a worrying tone.

"but we have to record making a pizza! You can just man the booth, okay? President's order!" Said Milly with a smile.

"Sure" Said Lelouch with a sigh. Just then, right when he raised his gaze from the tv crew on his right side, his eyes widened in shock at what he saw.

He saw some female students dragging 3 men, one he didn't recognize, but the other 2 he recognized instantly.

"WHAT THE HELL?! WHAT ARE THEY DOING HERE?!" Thought Lelouch in disbelief that Miller and Ocelot would show up here.

"Lelouch? What's wrong? You look like you just saw a ghost" Asked Milly as she tilted her head, she turned her head to see what Lelouch was looking and saw the group.

"Wait!" Gasped Milly.

"Damn it! Did she recognize them?" Thought Lelouch in horror.

"No way! Are you feeling jealous that there are girls guiding 3 handsome men?!" Said Milly with a surprised tone.

Lelouch fell on the ground anime style.

"W-What? No!" Retorted Lelouch incredulously at Milly's assumption, but at the same time, he felt relief that she did not recognize those men as Big Boss's left and right hand.

"Come on, Lelouch. There is no need to feel bad that you got competition!' Teased Milly.

Lelouch sighed exasperatedly

"Anyway! I'll go and check that everything is in order with the other students!" Said Lelouch with haste, and then walked away.

"Sure!~ "Milly replied followed by a laugh.

Lelouch groaned. Then he refocused on the important matter.

"What are THEY doing here, anyway?" Questioned Lelouch. He would like to talk to them when he meet them again as Zero.

Back with Big Boss, Miller and Ocelot

As the students guided them through the campus, they saw that many students decided to make their own stands with its unique themes.

Many of the stands are food stands, while the rest involves arts, entertainments and science.

The students that have art themes have posters and wallpapers of the prince and princess of Britannia, as well as the Knightmares, specially the Lancelot.

There was also a documentary stand that documents important events, such as Britannias conquest, rise of the empires or Washington Rebellion. But the most viewed ones are about Big Boss, Outer Heaven, MSF, The Order of the Black Knights and Zero.

Big Boss and Ocelot were curious about it. How accurate would the documentary about Outer Heaven would be?

Of course, the small interview Big Boss had with Diethard would be very different from what these kids would write. Unless Diethard spread the interview for third parties, something they hope he won't do it, yet.

"Here we also serve food! The bests of Britannia!" Shouted happily one of the female students guiding them. They turned their gazes to their right sides to see the food stands. They were serving normal foods such as hot dogs, hamburgers, steaks, chicken, ham, potatos, rolls, churros… caramel popcorn? None of them ever heard of caramel popcorn before, normally the popcorn is when you go to watch a movie.

"What do you guys think? Wanna take a bite?" Suggested another female student.

"Well, now that you mention it, I'm feeling a bit hungry… I'll take a hamburger!" Said Miller happily and eager to taste how good are Britannian hamburgers.

Ocelot and Big Boss sweet dropped a little at Miller's not so secret obsession with hamburgers.

"Huh, guess there's no real harm. I'll have one too!" Joined Ocelot.

Big Boss sighed "Sure"

The girls squealed happily as they led them to one of the food stands with hamburgers.

The girls offered themselves to get the hamburgers for them, Miller accepted it, although Big Boss and Ocelot reluctantly agreed, having spent their entire life on the battlefield made them feel skeptical on what may happen.

They brought them the hamburgers and each of them took a bite out of the hamburgers.

Miller gasped in amazement on how tasty this burger was. It reminded his childhood when he went to get an American hamburger. It was the best food he had ever had in his life.

Ocelot raised an eyebrow with interest on how tasty it was, he forgot a bit how much real food tasted after spending his life of eating bland food on the military.

Big Boss let out a satisfied "Hum" indicating that it was tasty, although he preferred the foods he would usually find in forests or jungles, like a tree frog or a snake.

"It's pretty good!" Said Miller as he continued to bite the burger.

"We are glad that you are enjoying our Academy's food! You should save it though! We have something special for everyone!" Said one of the girls.

"Oh? What would that be?" Asked Ocelot.

"We are going to make the largest pizza in the world!" Shouted one of the girls.

The three were surprised at what one of the girls said.

"The largest pizza in the world?" inquired Big Boss.

"Is that what that big oven over there is for?" Asked Ocelot.

"Yep! And it will be a spectacle! It will start afternoon, don't miss it!"

The three men looked impressed and were actually looking forward to it.

Almost 10 minutes later, Miller dismissed the students, telling them that from here they can handle, much to the girl's dismay.

They decided to explore the inside of the academy, they hoped if Huey or Strangelove would be around here somewhere.

In the hall ways of the academy, they could see small stands, but more oriented on academical topics. This is the part where they could see more of the students documenting about the Black Knights and MSF. Most of them were inaccurate, there were saying stuffs like:

"Big Boss, A Britannian soldier who betrayed his country for fame"

"Militaire Sans Frontieres: An E.U organization overtaken by Big Boss"

"Order of the Black Knights and Militaire Sans Frontieres join forces to dominate the world"

"Outer Heaven: The new superpower of the world"

"Zero and Big Boss: the revolutionaries of our era"

The last one was very unsettling and scary for Big Boss and Ocelot.

And then there were the weird ones that one would question if those people were sane. There were artistic drawings of Big Boss naked with the pose of "The Thinker" and the stand says: Art of Big Boss.

Next, a stand with books about one topic, the book's cover that is apparently a novel said "Big Boss and his army of men" and it shows Big Boss naked torso, along with his MSF soldiers, also with naked torso.

About the Black Knights, there were some of its weirdness: "Zero's secret life lover"

"Black Knights fear of pancake"

"Zero reveals his Dark Side to Suzaku"

The worst of all was one stand, which they are sure that it came from the imaginations of all young girls, where they combined Zero and Big Boss. There were drawings of Big Boss and Zero looking at each other with glee. Zero hugging Big Boss in a "passionate" way, and Big Boss holding Zero's hands. And on top of it, this one stand is filled with girls squealing in delight.

The three shivered and quickly walked away from that hall. Once they got out, they tried to recover themselves from what they saw. It was like a nightmare.

Speaking of nightmares, they came across to a door with a female student dressed as a witch standing in front, with decorations of bats and a poster sign that says "Horror House"

"Come in! Dare to visit the Horror House if you are brave enough!" Promoted girl in the witch costume. Then she noticed Big Boss, Miller and Ocelot.

"Come, brave men! Our Horror House is perfect to test your bravery!" Said dramatically the girl.

"Of course! I'm a brave man!" Proclaimed Miller.

"Let's go guys! I bet its fun!" Insisted Miller.

Ocelot just shrugged and said "Well, why not?"

Big Boss was sweating a bit, there is one thing he was deeply scared of… Vampires.

The three entered the room.

A 15 minutes ago

"WHY DO I HAVE TO DO THIS?!"

Inside the Horror House, Kallen was dressed up like a tombstone of sort, which only cover her body, but her legs and arms are showing, with red makeup all over her face, and acting as part of the attraction she was informed of. And just now, she screamed in anger as a mean to scare the guests.

"God, don't let something like this scare you!" Said Kallen exasperated.

"Darn that Lelouch! A Horror House, he should have explained what I had to do" Continued Kallen. Then she crouched down to her initial position.

"The only person who can order me around is Zero!" Complained Kallen as she watched the GPS screen on the ground.

"Another couple huh? Oh, if they wanted to mechanize it, why not do the whole thing?! This is light, but it's so hot! Like those first Glasglow. Come on, hurry up…Hurry up! HURRY UP!" With that last part she stood up with her arms extended in a scary way.

"AAAAHHHH!"

That moment she found out that the couple she just happened to scare was Ohgi and a silver haired woman.

"W-What? Ohgi?!"

Ohgi opened his eyes to see that the dressed-up monster is Kallen.

"You are okay?" Asked Ohgi dumbfounded.

"Thanks to you" Replied Kallen.

"Let's go!" Said Viletta in a frightened tone as she grabbed Ohgi's arm.

"S-Sure!" Complied Ohgi. Then Kallen leaned forward a bit.

"Ohgi, meet me at the campus in an hour!" Whispered Kallen. Ohgi heard her and then he nodded.

With that the couple left.

"I can't believe it! Why is Ohgi here in the school?!" Muttered Kallen as she crouched back to her position.

"Can this get any worse?" Wondered Kallen. She looked at the GPS screen and saw that this time there were 3 people. But after what happened just a second ago, she wasn't focused.

"I already feel embarrassed to have Ohgi see me as a weird cartoon monster. And who was that with Ohgi?" Thought Kallen, then she was sweating again due to the heat of the suit.

"Damn it, hurry up already!" Said Kallen. And just as the three targets approached here, she stood up and screamed.

"MOOOOVE!"

"Ah, holy shit!"

At that moment, she realized that the voice sounded oddly familiar. And once she focused on those three, here eyes widened and her face was red in embarrassment, but thanks to the makeup, it was hidden.

In front of her, it was Miller with his arm extended in a frightened way, and with eyes closed. Next to him was Ocelot, who doesn't look frightened, he merely had his eyebrow raised curiously. And finally, there was someone she didn't recognize, it was a handsome young blonde man wearing a scientist outfit.

"Miller-san?!" Shouted Kallen in shock.

Miller opened his eyes to see that it was Kallen.

"Kallen? What are you doing here?" Asked Miller incredulously.

"W-Well…" Kallen tried to say something but she felt embarrassed to say anything.

"I had no idea that you would pose as a mascot of sort" Commented Ocelot.

"What?! No! It's not what it looks like!" Stammered Kallen.

"What are you two doing here? And who's that?" Questioned Kallen.

"It's me, Kallen" Said Big Boss.

Kallen's eyes widened in disbelief when Big Boss spoke.

"Big B-" Miller tried to shush Kallen, but then…

"What's going on in there?!" Called out one of the students from the outside of the room.

"Oh crap. Leave quickly!" Whispered Kallen.

The three men walked to the exit of the room so they wouldn't raise any suspicion.

Kallen couldn't do anything but let out a sigh and ask herself why Miller, Ocelot and Big Boss would be here.

Back with Big Boss, Ocelot and Miller

"Well, that was… awkward, don't you think?" Said Ocelot to Miller.

"Hehe, yeah. Didn't know that Kallen has talents for that." Miller laughed softly.

"What now, Kaz?" Asked Big Boss to Miller since he is the one leading this crazy trip.

"I heard that there's a section of carnival games down there in the campus!" Said Miller with a happy tone as he started to walk there.

"How long is this nightmare going to end?" Grumbled Big Boss.

Meanwhile, in the campus

Walking through the crowds of people looking and having fun in the festival, was Euphy and her 2 bodyguards, dressed in their civilian outfits.

Euphy decided to go there mainly to find and speak with Suzaku about a certain matter.

"I'm so sorry, but there's something I must speak to Suzaku about" Said Euphy to her bodyguards.

"It's all right, your highness" Said gently her female bodyguard.

"I wished Ishmael would had come with me" Whispered Euphy with a sad tone. It was hours ago, after Schneizel approved her idea, she tried to contact Ishmael, but he wasn't replying and made her worry. She called Lloyd and Cecile and asked them if they saw him. Luckily, they provided her answers. Moments before she talked with Schneizel, Ishmael had talked to Lloyd and Cecile, he told them that he is going to be absent for today and he won't be able to contact with anyone. They tried to ask what it was and why he couldn't tell it to Euphy, but all he said it was a personal matter.

"Suzaku, my brother approved my idea, now we can-"Euphy's thoughts were interrupted when she seems to have bumped into someone.

"Im so sorry! Are you all right?" Euphy apologized as she saw who she bumped in to. It was a familiar little girl on a wheelchair, with her maid stopping her track in order for the girl to pass.

"I'm fine, are you all right?" Asked the girl.

Euphy gasped as she recognized who the little girl was. It was her younger half-sister, Nunnally.

"Nunnally?!"

Nunnally also gasped when she recognized Euphy's voice.

"That voice… can it be?"

With Big Boss, Miller and Ocelot in the campus

The three kept walking around looking at the various stands. There were several interesting stuffs the students were showing, but it didn't actually get their attentions. Then they came across with the game sections. It looked like fun. It showed the typical games that one would find in an amusement park, like the Duck pond, Ballon And Dart, the "Birthday" game, Water Gun, Skee Ball and the classic Whack-A-Mole.

One thing curious about the Whack-A-Mole game of this festival was that it was currently off service, saying that "A scientist kept hitting the same target multiple times and too hard that the handle broke"

They all looked like fun, but there's one that really caught their attention. There was a stand with a large horizontal space that was a shooting game. This one operated like any normal shooting game, the difference is that, aside of letting the players move and have their own shooting ranges, they set the game too hard for anyone to hit. The targets, which are balloons, are constantly moving and they only get limited shots to hit them.

The three approached the stand and saw many students and civilians failing the game.

"Don't give up just yet! With enough determination, you'll be able to hit them!" Said a student who is likely the main manager of the game.

"Come in! Test your skills and win amazing prizes!" Shouted the student, he then showcased the prizes. There were high quality toys, posters, plushies, watches, outfits and costumes, but amongst these ones, there were the 2 ultimate prizes. A golden necklace with a rectangular shiny green emerald encrusted in the middle, adorned with 2 small circular sapphires on the sides and with the insignia of Ashford Academy located behind the emerald. The necklace was called, Ashford's Amulet, a lucky charm made by the top student artists and engineers of Ashford Academy, and it was blessed with a kiss from Milly Ashford.

Next was a dark green colored necklace, with a circular medium sized blue emerald, also adorned on both sides with precious stones, this time they're 2 sapphires, and inside of the blue emerald has a [SMALL PURPLE STAR SHAPED] gem, that is the symbol that belonged to a lost distance family of the Ashford, and this one is kissed by one of the student's council member, Shirley Fennett.

Everyone went nuts with the description and it served as a motivation for everyone to try, mostly from male students.

But it seems that so far, no one was able to land a single hit on the balloons.

Although in reality, this one particular stand of shooting games, was being run by a student who has a big ego, and a very arrogant one.

He was notified that if no one is able to win these expensive necklaces, he could keep them. So, with that in mind, he rigged the whole game.

The student then saw Ocelot amongst the crowd and called him.

"You there! You seem like a big fan of guns! Want to try out our latest shooting game?"

Some of the bystanders turned their gaze at Ocelot, who wasn't unnerved at the stares he's getting, he was more like curious.

"This seems challenging… Sure!" Said Ocelot with interest as he walked to the stand. Everyone was whispering and muttering at his strange cowboy outfit.

Miller and Big Boss stared at the scene with interest.

When Ocelot reached to the center of the stand, he noticed that they were offering several types of handguns. There was one that he noticed and he could help but let out a small grin.

"Say, am I allowed to use any type of handguns?" Asked Ocelot.

"Oh yeah! You can choose whichever you want in our display!"

Ocelot approached and chose his favorite type… The Colt Single Action Army.

"A revolver, huh? Not a bad gun, but you'll only able to hit 6 targets" Said the student. People around started to whisper at Ocelot's choice.

The student handed him 6 small spherical rubber balls that is used as the shooting game's ammo.

"Oh, don't worry. I can handle it" Said Ocelot with confidence.

He loaded the revolver and then saw his targets.

10 balloons, 2 on the left side moving up and down vertically, 2 on the right side also moving up and down vertically but reverse, 2 moving circularly, one on the left and one on the right, and 4 aligned horizontally.

Ocelot smirked as he grabbed the revolver with his right hand and twirled it 4 times.

"6 shots huh?" Thought Ocelot.

He took 4 steps backward.

He positioned himself and steadied himself.

"LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION!"

Ocelot then aimed the revolver and shot his first target. The balloons on the far-right side moving vertically.

*BAM!*

The sphere hit the wall of the stand, causing it to ricochet and thanks to the momentum, the 2 balloons were perfectly aligned, thus the 2 balloons exploded.

*POP* *POP*

His eyes focused to the next target, the balloons from the far-left side.

With precise timing and calculation, he did his previous move.

*BAM!*

The sphere flew and it repeated the result, 2 balloons exploded.

*POP *POP*

Then he proceeds to take out the 6 remaining targets.

Ocelot twirled the revolver as he analyzed the pattern of the balloons.

And then…

*BAM!*

Ocelot then twirled his body to the right side.

*BAM!*

He quickly shot 2 bullets, one to the left side and the other on the right side. With the calculated movement and speed, he shot the first bullet to the left side, and since the whole stand is covered with metallic walls, the bullet also ricocheted and headed to the right side, just when the balloon circularly moved to the right side, next to the 4 aligned balloons. And as for the other sphere, once he shot the first one, with a 0.5 delay of time, he shot it, and followed the same process, but from the opposite side.

The result, the 2 balloons moving circularly exploded and the spheres continued their trajectory, hitting the 4 aligned balloons, also exploding, all happening at the same time.

The whole crowd were stunned and with eyes widened. They couldn't believe what they saw, this man was able to get all the targets with ease, in merely 7 seconds.

The crowd then erupted in cheers of amazement at Ocelot's spectacular skills.

The student managed was dumbstruck that this man was able to shoot all the impossible targets.

Ocelot let out a smirk and twirled the revolver several times.

"Piece of cake" commented Ocelot proudly.

"Wow man. You've let me without words! How about we make this interesting?" Asked the student, he pressed the reset button and then the targets changed.

There were 20 more targets, and they were all moving randomly at best.

"Think you can hit them with 20 shots?" The student offered Ocelot 20 spheres, his tone almost condescendingly.

Ocelot couldn't help but smirk again. He knew how this boy was thinking, he is one of those arrogant ones, and he will definitely enjoy it on breaking his ego.

"Let's make this more interesting, shall we?" Offered Ocelot, making the student sweat nervously on what he wants.

A few meters away from the shooting game, Nunnally and Euphy, along with their own respective bodyguards following them. That is when Euphy, Sayoko and Euphy's bodyguard saw the amount of people crowded on a shooting game. Suddenly, there were roars and cheers.

"What is happening there?" Asked Euphy curiously.

"What is it?" Asked Nunnally in wonder.

"There are people in there cheering at something. It seems interesting, hope you don't mind to accompany me, Nunnally" Said Euphy with a smile.

"Oh, I don't mind. It's been a long time since we shared time together" Said Nunnally with a warm smile.

Euphy smiled happily as she led Nunnally's wheelchair to the crowd, with Sayoko and Euphy's bodyguard following them.

Meanwhile on the other side of the side, a certain female scientist, who broke up accidentally the hammer of the Whack-A-Mole game, also saw the commotion and couldn't help but want to investigate.

"I wonder what is happening there?" Wondered Cecile.

"Guys! I'm going to check out what's happening there!" Cecile informed.

"W-Wait for us!" Said one of the assistants who were ordered to be with her during the festival.

Cecile went through the crowded people, with her assistants following behind her.

As Euphy and Nunnally passed the crowd to see, Euphy was able to see what is occurring, and what she saw made her eyes widen in awe and disbelief. Her bodyguards were in the same state when they also saw it. Sayoko was very amazed as well. And right at that moment on the opposite side of the crowd, Cecile was also able to reach the area and she was dumbstruck.

They saw a man wearing a cowboy attire doing juggling with 3 revolvers and shooting.

His performance stunned everyone, except Big Boss and Miller who have seen him do that performance before. They smirked at Ocelot's amazing mastery of shooting.

With the precision and pattern of the moving balloons, even though they were moving randomly, he could see where they were going, and thus, he was able to shot down half of them. And he only used 3 bullets.

Ocelot grabbed the falling revolver on his left side and shoot upward.

*BAM!*

The sphere flew to the targets and hit 3 of them when they were aligned.

Ocelot tossed the revolver up then twirled his body circularly, next he grabbed the other revolver and shoot his next target.

*BAM!*

This time he hit 4 balloons.

To finish it, he shot again, which looks like he didn't plan it. But to the audience's disbelief, it got the last 3 balloons!

Ocelot then caught the 3 revolvers with his right hand.

"LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION!"

"And that's how it's done!"

The audience erupted into loud cheers at the performance.

"I don't believe it!" Complained the student in shock.

"T-T-That is….!" Muttered Cecile incoherently at what she saw. The man was able to get those targets, while they were moving randomly and doing juggling with the revolvers. Also, she couldn't help but stare in confusion, she feels that she has seen him before, but she couldn't place it.

Euphy, the bodyguards and Sayoko were also shocked and amazed at Ocelot's display.

"T-That's impossible! How is he able to do that?!" Muttered Euphy's female bodyguard.

Sayoko was impressed with Ocelot; this was the first time she has ever seen someone able to do such thing.

"Oh my goodness" Said in shock Euphy. Aside of his absurd skills, she was wondering where she had seen him before, that face and attire were very familiar, but she doesn't remember.

"What is it, Euphy?" Asked Nunnally.

"I wish you could have seen it Nunnally! A man was able to win a shooting game with so many odds against him!" Replied Euphy with excitement.

"Really? That's so bizarre!" Said Nunnaly with amazement.

Ocelot returned the 3 revolvers to one of the students in charge. He could see that the arrogant boy was devastated and he seemed that he eventually [STOPPED THINKING].

"Hey, Carls! You ok man?" Approached one of the students to the student manager who is now known as Carls.

"Looks like he is in shock. Well anyway, you win, man! Here are the ultimate prizes! And aside of these 2 necklaces, you get one more prize from our selection!" Announced the student.

"One more, heh?" Ocelot put his right hand on his chin in thought as he inspected the prizes. He then saw one that Big Boss would definitely like.

Big Boss and Miller couldn't see much on what Ocelot chose; all they could see was a student handing him something in his hand aside of the 2 small boxes with the necklace.

Ocelot approached his group and called Big Boss.

"Hey, Jack" Ocelot tossed him something. Big Boss caught it with his right hand and saw what it was, a trophy of some kind with a figure of a cardboard box (One of the Metal Gear trophy from Super Smash Bros Brawl)

Big Boss hummed humorously at what Ocelot gave him.

The three walked away from the staring crowd, which many people started to enter the shooting game with a lot more excitement.

Seconds later, everyone dispersed, including Euphy, Nunnally and Cecile.

As the three men of MSF walked through the crowd and the numerous stands, they noticed one section being cornered by several civilians and students, all of them watching something with glee. They felt curious as to what that stand was showing.

Once they approached, they saw what caught everyone's attention. It was a mini robot with wheels on its 2 legs, a head that resembles a camera with 2 little horns and a screen on its right side as its arm. (Similar to the Metal Gear Mk2 model)

And the one who is presenting this robot is none other than Huey and Strangelove.

"As you can see of this prototype, Knightmare Gear Mk2. or KG Mk2, allows easy maneuver and its pretty strong, so falling from a medium height won't damage it." Huey explained as he moved the mini robot through the controls in his hands.

KG Mk2 moved around the small audience, the male students and civilans looked in excitement at the robot, while the female students squealed in delight, they couldn't help but feel that this mini robot is cute.

"It can also be used for family purposes, like if any family member can't move or have any kind of disadvantage, this little buddy can help them be their substitute, which is why the video camera is for.

KG Mk2 flipped the screen on its right arm and showed the people around a high detailed image of Huey's face.

The audience muttered around and expressed at the robot's usefulness.

"Well, would you look at that! It's almost 12:00 am! The special event of Ashford Academy is about to start, the largest pizza in the world! How about we put this on stop and come back after we eat the pizza!" Announced Huey happily.

And soon enough, everyone left, almost.

Huey sighed with satisfaction, it felt very nice to do an exposition for an audience.

"Looks like you were busy, Huey, "Vanessa" "

Huey and Strangelove turned their heads to see in surprise that it was Miller.

"Oh, Kaz! Ocelot! And…. Boss?" Huey greeted them, until he saw Big Boss disguise. He knew of this disguise for a while after Peace Walker. Big Boss showed him that one of his disguises was this one which he said that he wouldn't want to use it again for some reason.

"Huey, It's Jack" Coughed Big Boss.

"Oh, yeah, sorry Jack"

"So, mind filling us why you guys are here in Ashford Academy?" Asked Strangelove, finding it odd that they would come here.

"It's Kaz's idea. He wanted to visit Japan again, but he insisted that we have to join him" Said Big Boss.

"A man needs a break once in a while you know, and besides, we are having fun so far, right?" Retorted Miller. Ocelot laughed softly

"So, I take it that you guys had fun" Said Huey, feeling happy that everyone is having a peaceful day.

"You should have seen what he did in the shooting games, he showed off his skills in a spectacular way" Said Miller with humor while pointing with his thumb at Ocelot.

"Oh? So, the man who was winning that hard shooting game that I keep hearing around, was you?" Asked Huey astonished.

"It was quite a challenge for anyone without much experience, but I was able to outsmart its difficulty" Replied Ocelot.

Just when Huey was about to speak, a loud announcement was heard.

"All right! Any moment now! Any moment, we begin! The largest pizza in the world" Rilvaz announced on the top of the oven and people started to cheer around for the event.

"Oh crap, it's beginning now? Let's go watch it!" Insisted Huey as he drove his wheelchair to the event.

"Well, we've been waiting for this event since we ate some food. Let's go!" Said Miller as he walked to the crowd, with Big Boss, Ocelot and Strangelove behind.

With Lelouch, In the control room

In the control room that supervises the camera of Ashford Academy, which is currently focusing on the giant oven, Lelouch was doing the inspections on the cameras. Once he was done, he was talking to Shirley through his communicator.

"I understand, Shirley. I promise I'll make time for you. Just send out group B to help with the stage. Right."

Lelouch switched it off and then leaned down on the chair.

Then the door opened, revealing to be Milly.

"Not bad at all. Looks like it's all going to schedule, huh" Spoke Milly.

"I've learned how to managed people lately. Still, everyone seems optimistic, don't they? Even though It's been hardly any time at all since the Chinese Federation attacked." Said Lelouch while looking at Milly.

"It just proves something. Festivals are necessary. For everyone, at every time. You still have lots to learn" Said Milly happily.

Lelouch let out a soft laugh.

"Lesson learned" Said Lelouch playfully.

"Big Brother!" Suddenly Nunnally called out.

"Nunnally! How's the pizza doing…" Lelouch stopped when he saw that there is someone with Nunnally. It was Euphy, with her hands on Nunnally's wheelchair handle.

Lelouch's eyes widened in shock, not expecting her to be here.

"Sorry! Give me a moment!" Said Lelouch in a hurry to Milly.

A few seconds later, the three were alone now next to a corner of the Academy.

Lelouch and Euphy were standing in front of each other. Lelouch was looking downcast, he wasn't sure what to say to Euphy.

Suddenly he was hugged but Euphy. Her arms wrapped around his waist and her head resting on his right shoulder.

"Lelouch! I missed you so much!" Said Euphy with some tears in her eyes.

Lelouch was surprised, but he decided to return the hug.

"I missed you too, Euphy" Lelouch chocked a little with his words. He really meant his words.

"I'm so glad that you and Nunnally were safe this whole time" Said Euphy while being careful of not saying much.

"Yeah, thanks to Suzaku and his family" Said Lelouch with a smile.

Euphy looked at his face and with surprised looked.

"Really?! You have been friends with Suzaku all this time?" Asked Euphy surprised.

Lelouch laughed softly.

"Yes, he helped me a lot during my harsh time in Japan"

Euphy giggled happily "I'm very glad!"

Euphy leaned to Lelouch ear and whispered.

"Lelouch… I know this is not a good time to ask but…" Euphy said in an unsure tone.

"What is it, Euphy?" Asked Lelouch, with a hint of worry. He kinda knows what she was going to ask.

"…. You are Zero, aren't you?" Whispered Euphy softly, enough for only Lelouch to hear.

Lelouch eyes widened a little, but he was able to calm down.

"…How did you figure it out?" Asked Lelouch softly, not trying to hide it from her.

"During our time in Kamine island. Despite our little time together, I started to feel that you and Zero are the same person, you both have the same goals, you are both intelligent and charismatic" Answered Euphy.

"Huh, was I that obvious?" Said Lelouch with humor.

"We spent most of the time together when we were kids. Of course I would be able to identify my brother" Said Euphy with a smile, then she started to laugh a little.

"What's so funny, Euphy?" Asked Lelouch curiously.

"You know, had we met and spoken back during the Kawaguchi hijacking, I would have discovered your identity sooner." Said Euphy melancholy.

"I wouldn't expect it from you" Said lelouch with a smile. He knew that she could uncover his identity sooner had they met earlier.

Back with Big Boss, Miller, Ocelot, Huey and Strangelove

"It looks like the preparation of the ingredients is complete!" Announced Rivalz again as he fabulously fell from the oven and landed on the floor with his feet.

"Now then, allow me to introduce… Our dough tosser, the Ashford family Ganymede!" Proclaimed Rivalz as the cover on something fell and revealed it to be a small blue Knightmare of the 3rd generation.

Everyone cheered at it, feeling excited on a Knightmare making the pizza.

Big Boss, Miller, Ocelot, Huey and Strangelove were very interested on how this was going to be.

"Yes, it's a bit of a classic. However, at the control is the student council's dress-code monitor, the knight of princess Euphemia, Kururugi Suzaku!"

The Knightmare cockpit revealed to the audience that it was indeed Suzaku piloting it.

The audience exploded in roars and cheers at the mention.

Big Boss eyebrows raised in interest. It looks like Suzaku is going to do some showing of his skills with culinary.

"Using a Knightmare to make a pizza, huh? Never thought I would see that" Commented Ocelot.

"Yeah, despite all the craziness we do. Never have we seen this done before" Added Miller, thinking that despite all the weird things they do on MSF. Like using the ultimate move; the human slingshot, the tactical use of cardboard boxes, catching ghost with camera, Isla del Monstruo and other things, no one has ever thought of using a Knightmare, or better yet, use Zeke to make food.

"I wonder if we can make food with the use of AI?" Asked Strangelove.

"Oh? Using Ai, you say?" Said Huey.

"Yeah, we can create a machine were the AI will create the food based on the people's profile. That way, the AI will store all the necessary data and make the suitable food" Explained Strangelove.

"That's not a bad idea" Said Huey.

Next to the stage, Kallen and Sayoko were holding large plugs that is connected to the Ganymede.

"What? Do you mean…?" Started Kallen.

"Yes. A lot of Elevens have come for this, too. It's an open festival after all, and this is Suzaku's school." Explained Sayoko.

"Just for that?"

Yes, Suzaku is a star of hope for many Elevens" Said Sayoko

"I see…" Kallen then stared at the crowd while assuming her "frail" persona whenever she goes to school.

Amongst the crowd, she saw Miller waving at her goofily, while Big Boss and Ocelot lowly waved at her. Her face was then formed into slight shock and her face blushed in embarrassment remembering what happened in the Horror House.

"What's wrong, Miss Kallen? Your face is red, are you perhaps feeling sick?" Asked Sayoko with concern.

"N-Nothing! It's nothing" Stammered a little Kallen, which for some reason caused Sayoko to smile humorously.

"And again! Can he get it any larger, folks?! Come on, Sir Suzaku! We've got high hopes for you!" Said Rivalz with an encouraging tone.

"Yes! Look at him go! WOOO,WOOOOO,WOOOOO!" Wooed Miller. Big Boss and Ocelot looked at him strangely, they haven't seen him this excited before, not when he gets drunk.

"Kaz is really into it" Laughed Huey.

Strangelove sighed at Miller's unnecessary shouting "I admit, it's a very entertaining and interesting event of making a very large pizza, but that is ridiculous."

"Princess Euphemia?!"

Suddenly, when a certain student shouted that name, everyone's focus on the pizza was gone.

"Princess Euphemia?"

"What? Princess Euphemia?"

"Huh? What's up" Spoke Rivalz with a confused tone.

"Over there!"

"It's true! It's princess Euphemia!"

Big Boss, Ocelot, Miller, Huey and Strangelove had surprised looks on their faces.

"Princess Euphemia? What's she doing here?" Wondered Big Boss

"The princess? This could be bad" Muttered Ocelot, already feeling that its going to get out of control.

"The princess Euphemia? Why is she here? Wait, what about the pizza?" Said Miller while also worrying the pizza.

"Wow that's the princess Euphemia?" Sai in astonishment Huey.

"Oh my, the princes Euphemia is… beautiful" Commented Strangelove with a blush on her cheeks.

"Camera, get a link to the studio!" Ordered one of the producers outside to his cameraman

"Got it!"

With that, a small chaos happened with the crowd. Everyone ran straight to were Euphy was.

"Stop! Don't run! It'll collapse!" Shouted Suzaku, but he dropped the controls, causing the dough to fly away.

"Shit! The dough!" Cursed Miller as he saw the dough fly and land on a tree.

"Damn it, there goes the largest pizza in the world" Said Miller in sadness, which was shared by C.C who had an expression of hurt when she saw the dough ruined and Milly with her goal and dream also crushed.

"I think we should leave now; this chaos will surely blow our cover" Whispered Ocelot to Miller.

"Yeah, I'm inclined to agree" Agreed Miller.

Suddenly there were 2 shootings and a voice shouted, which shocked both Big Boss and Ocelot.

"Stop this at once! Do you realize who this is?! This is the sub-viceroy! The third imperial princess!" Cecile shouted to the crowd with a demanding tone.

"Ocelot, is that…?" Asked Big Boss stunned.

"Yeah, that's definitely her. The scientist who has the voice of The Boss" Replied Ocelot, he was sweating a little in realization. If she was here the whole time, she might have seen him and could blow their cover is she remembers him.

"This is really bad, we must leave now!" Muttered Ocelot to Big Boss.

Big Boss nodded, not the fact that he would probably meet this world's alternate version of The Boss, but there are militaries involved.

Just when Big Boss, Ocelot and Miller were about to leave. They saw the Ganymede stand up with Euphi in its left hand.

"What's happening now?" Wondered Ocelot.

"I am Euphemia, sub-viceroy of Area 11 of the Holy Britannian Empire. There is something I wish to tell you all today! I, Euphemia li Britannia, do hereby declare the formation of…. The specially administrated zone of Nippon in the area around !"

Everyone gasped in shock at the revelation. Including Big Boss, Ocelot and Miller.

"Could this be… another revolutionary movement?" Asked Miller while starting to see a bit of similarity with Peace Walker.

"Within the specially administrated zone of Nippon, Elevens may go back to call themselves Japanese. Restrictions against Elevens and special rights for Britannians will not exist within the zone of Nippon. It will be a world where Elevens and Britannians will live as equals!" Spoke Euphy with conviction.

"Do you hear me, Zero?! Big Boss?!" Called out Euphy.

Big Boss was caught off guard when Euphy called him out.

"Zero, your past and who you are under that mask won't matter to me! So, I beg of you, please participate in making the zone of Nippon! Big Boss, you saved my life back in the Kawaguchi incident, for that I want to repay your kindness by creating Nippon where we can all live in peace! No oppression, discrimination or death against anyone. Your soldiers have proven that in battles, no one has to die, you only disarm them, you also save civilians and soldiers and gives them the choice of joining you or go home, you give them the free will of choice. That vision and ideology, can be part of my Nippon… my heaven… We can, have our Outer Heaven!" Proclaimed Euphy

Everyone started to cheer, mostly from the Japanese. The students were skeptical and unsure of what Euphy said, but there were several who also started to join the cheering, indicating that there are at least some younger generations who wants to support, not because of Euphy's administrated zone, but because of Big Boss.

Big Boss was very surprised and impressed at Euphy's willingness to have him included in her zone. He remembers many months ago when he and Zero delivered Cornelia back to Schneizel and Euphy told them about her goal. Back then she looked like an unsure girl, but now, he can see that this is now a woman who is sure of herself and focused on what she wants. Though he knows that what she wants is considered to be naïve, he can respect her resolve for making a change.

"Ishmael, I wish you could be here with Suzaku" Thought Euphy sadly, his presence might have boosted her support, but she didn't mind. Whatever matter he had at the moment, she can understand it and forgive him.

Meanwhile in a room from an undisclosed location, Alligator was sending datas to Mother Base while he was also seeing Euphy's announcement.

Alligator smiled warmly and said softly

"You are doing well, Euphemia" Though his loyalty is with Big Boss and MSF, he can't deny the fact that it was good to help people who wants peace. He sometimes hoped that maybe, just MAYBE one day, he will become Big Boss successor.

10 minutes later, inside the MSF secret base in Japan

…

After the festival and Euphy's proclamation, Big Boss, Ocelot and Miller returned to their hideouts. Big Boss removed the annoying mask and let out a breath, feeling better without it.

"What a day" Started Miller feeling tired but satisfied with their free day.

"Not gonna lie, it felt nice and really fun. Been a while since I had one" Commented Ocelot.

"Yeah, and we almost got caught" Deadpanned Big Boss.

"Speaking of which, what should we do? Now that the princess wants to create a specialized zone for the Japanese?" Asked Miller, although he was liking the princess's idea.

"I-"

"This place is really uncomfortable. How do you guys manage to work this place out?"

The three quickly turned their heads, weapons drawn out and pointed whoever was at the entrance.

It turns out to be their disappearing client, Veg.

"Yo, Big Boss, Ocelot, Miller" Greeted Veg.

"Mr Veg. After all this time, you finally showed up" Said Ocelot with a small hint of distrust. He was already feeling suspicious of him.

"Yeah, sorry for disappearing so suddenly" Veg apologized.

"What happened? Why didn't you say anything? And what's the occasion of appearing to us all of a sudden?" Questioned Big Boss. At this point, they all lowered their guns but kept it in case something happens.

"In order. I was informing to my bosses your progress. I said nothing in order to not ruse any suspicion, and lastly, I came here to tell you that the time has come"

"What? What do you mean by that?" Asked Miller.

"This is rather complicated, but the thing is, my bosses and I were hoping for this moment to come"

"Wait, are you telling us that you were anticipating that the princess would announce her special administration zone?" Said Ocelot. At this point, his suspicion skyrocketed at the implication.

"In a sense. Yeah"

"How the hell?" Asked in shock Miller.

"Like I said, it's complicated. Sadly, I can't reveal much about my bosses plans, yet. Your best course of action is to follow what the Zero decides. The outcome of it, will decide it all" Informed Veg.

Then he turned around to the door and opened.

"I'll contact you in a few days, Big Boss" Said Veg.

"Wait!" Shouted Big Boss as he Ocelot and Miller chased him. Veg closed the door, but once they opened the door, he was gone.

"Damn it" Cursed Big Boss, he had so many questions to ask, but after what he said, it left more questions than answers.

"I don't like this, Boss." Said Ocelot, he was having a bad feeling about this whole ordeal.

"I don't like this either. He is still leaving us in a loop. I honestly can't trust our client" Added Miller.

"I agree. Unfortunately, our hands are still tied, and he is the only source we have to get us home" Said Big Boss.

Ocelot and Miller sighed in defeat. They hate to admit it, but Big Boss was right. There was still absolutely no clue of how, or by what means, they were transported to this world. And Veg is the only one who knows how it works.

"There is one thing we should do once this is over. We will never ever get Veg into contract again. We ban him from our list of clients" Advised Miller.

"I can't agree more than that" Agreed Ocelot.

"Absolutely"

Night time, in the royal palace

…

Cornelia walked through the halls of his father's throne. She was having a mixed feeling today, partly because of what Euphy did today, but that is little compared to what her mind was thinking at this moment. On one one, her father calling her for an audience must mean something very important. The only one he would ever speak is Schneizel, so his decision of calling her was a surprise. But on the other hand, she is angry with him. Mainly because he hadn't done a single thing when Marianne, the woman and step-mother she had ever admired, was assassinated and her brother and sister were sent to die in Area 11.

This time, Cornelia asked Guilford and Darlton to stay behind and support Euphy while she goes to the mainland. Both knights protested, but she assured them that she will be fine. At the end, they acknowledge her decision.

The hall of the throne room was dark, only the lights from the throne are seen. With the emperor sitting there, awaiting her.

Cornelia stood in front of him, her face stoic, while the emperor stared back emotionless.

Cornelia kneeled down on one knee with her left right fist on the ground.

"Father" Said Cornelia with a respectful tone, despite how much she hates him.

"Cornelia, my child" Said Charles, with the lack of any sentimental love in his words.

"What would you wish from me, father?"

"There has been some… complications. One that I require of your assistance"

Cornelia rose her head and looked at him in wonder.

"My assistance?"

"Yes, my child. Tell me. What are your thoughts on princess Euphemia's action?"

"Euphy?" Thought Cornelia. She was started to feel worried that her father would do something to her.

"Her action today was… unexpected. But I'm sure that whatever Euphemia has in mind, it will work out for Britannia" Reasoned Cornelia, she trusts that outcome from Euphy's choice could beneficial.

"Is that so? Nonetheless, the assistance I need is related to Euphemia's recent move"

Cornelia then had a look of surprise, not expecting that her father's need came from Euphy's

"You support Euphemia?" Cornelia asked in a surprised tone.

"Yes, but not in the way you imagine" Said Charles while he let out a smile, one that is so calm that it's disturbing.

"What do you-"

Suddenly, a pair of arms grabbed her shoulders and restrained her arms.

"What the?!"

Cornelia look in shock to see that 5 men wearing a hood with a strange symbol ambushed her.

She then looked to her father, only to see that he was still smiling at her.

"What is the meaning of this, father?!" Demanded Cornelia, trying all she can to move, but to no vail.

"Don't worry, my child" Charles then stood up as he started to remove a glove from his right hand.

"My plan will make Britannia better, and Euphemia will become a one of the most powerful princess, I assure you"

Cornelia for the first time in her life, felt utter fear and horror on whatever his father, no monster was going to do and she was now at his mercy.

Before she could even scream…. Everything went dark…. Silent…

End of Stage 16

Well, the cliffhanger explained it all

Many of you already know what the next chapter will be about, but now I'm going to do something different, even though I wanted to follow the canon.

Also, about the possibility of any more Metal Gear characters appearing in Code Geass world. The answer is that there won't be any Metal Gear characters, only the entire Mother Base were transported to the Code Geass world.

There is something I wanted to tell you all about the story. Last year and the last few months ago, I was starting to lose my interest on the story, I almost gave up. This is mainly because of the stressful job my family put me in and other issues I was facing. But ironically, the coronavirus made me stay home and play again Metal Gear Solid HD collection and it kinda reignited my motivation to continue.

And aside of the job from my family business, I began to pursue one of the things I always dreamed off, being an animator and artist, mainly focused on cartoon, comics and anime.

To finish today's chapter, I have prepared 2 side story, one written by one of my supporters, Nightroad816.

During the Black Knight's training

At this moment, many new members were reunited to have lunch. Amongst them are the mercenary leaders: Gregory, Adalhelm, Eliza, Zangief, Shira, Elizabeth, Yang, Lightning, Cornelio and Orpheus.

During their lunch time, they all talked with each other.

Charles, Adalhelm, Eliza and Zangief got to know the story of their fellow mercenary leaders. They also told them their own lives view. Charles disappointing view at the Britannian government system, Adalhelm's view of the corruption of his country Germany, Eliza's tragic childhood, Shira being adopted to the Elizabeth's family, subsequent extinction and to the formation of her mercenary faction, The Lions of Khalahari.

Zangief gave them a brief story of his life and his motivation.

"I grew up in Moscu in a healthy family of carpenters. It was a nice life, but I felt that I needed to do something. Something fulfilling. So, I tried the Europia Prussia military academy. That's when I got my amazing muscles and discovered my goal. Help my country, to keep them safe from any dangers, such as destruction and inner conflicts. Then, after years of serving my country, I found out something even more important. That serving my country is not enough, that helping people all around is even more achieving and fulfilling. And what better than help the people in the very world we live?" Said Zangief with pride.

They couldn't help but admire Zangief's motive. His desire to help people is not just for his countrymen but other people from other country.

Yang and Lightning told their own story on how they began their own mercenary group. It wasn't a tragic story unlike the others.

"Well, my sister and I started our own line of work a year ago in Shanghai, I used to work as a wrecker in the Chinese military with my crew, until they discharged me for blowing up a tanker by using nitrogen. My sister Lightning was a lieutenant in the army and she does a well job, but after hearing that they kicked me out, she quit. Surprisingly, my crew followed me, saying that working with the military was boring and they would probably assign them on boring teams, unlike mine. Since then we worked as freelancers, and I must say, it's very exciting and fun! We get to go on adventures and blowing up stuffs!" Yang explained her funny, but weird story origin.

"That doesn't sound so bad at all, considering what half of us went through" Said Eliza.

"Guess me and my sis were lucky with our lives. Also, comparing to my origins and yours, I actually value all of you guys" Said Yang with a soft smile.

"Oh?" Hummed Adalhelm with an eyebrow raised.

Gregory let out a humorous chuckle.

"No problem! Since we are going to live together, I thought we should get to know each other" Said Yang with a grin.

"Well, since we are on the topic, mind filling us why Frau Lightning is always…. grumpy?" Said Adalhelm as he finished the last word with a chuckle. Lightning grunted in annoyance at Adalhelm's remark.

Yang laughed softly and then she answered it.

"She is always like this, but you know the saying: "Don't judge the book by its cover", She may have the face and attitude of a loner, but deep inside, she is a sweet and caring person" Said Yang with a small smile.

"Nonsense!" Said Lightning with her face red in embarrassment, not wanting to admit that it's somewhat true.

"See what I mean?" Joked Yang as she laughed heartily.

"I agree. I too see that Lightning is a good person from the inside" Added Eliza with a smile. Lightning eyes widened a little, not expecting that Eliza would figure it out.

"So, Cornelio. Tell us about you!" Asked Shira with eagerness.

Cornelio straightened his seat and leaned forward with a glass of wine.

"Well, signora. I'll gladly tell my tale, but it's not a pretty one"

"We are prepared, my brother" Said Zangief with a brotherly tone.

"It started in Italy, as you all know. I came from a prestigious family, known as the Auditore family. My family were bankers, we used to have a good life. That is when we got attacked." Cornelio grew a bit somber.

"A Britannian politician asked my father to hand him over some documents, but my father refused it, he told me that it contained information that could jeopardize our clients. Then 2 days later, Italian soldiers took my father and brothers away, leaving my mother and sister traumatized. I tried to save them, but I was late. My father and my brothers were executed in public, in my very eyes."

The mercenary leaders felt sympathy for the tragic life of Cornelio.

"I was driven by my revenge against those who killed my father and my 2 brothers. I decided to use my skills to create a group to take that bastard down. A group of skilled assassins to eliminate the threats in the most silent way possible. And before I knew it, I killed countless corrupted soldiers and politicians, and that's when I realized that I can help people in the shadows. It took me almost 2 years to take track my family's murderer. It was a hard fight, that man had a battalion with him and he was a tough man. But at the end, I managed to end his life. With my goal completed, I decided to expand my network in the shadows, my mother and sister lives, but for safety, I had to leave them behind. In any case, I searched through my networks potential clients and after seeing Big Boss in action, I was very interested on meeting him, so after several travels we managed to meet signore Gregory and signora Eliza and they helped us get here"

Cornelio finished his story. They really felt sad that Cornelio had a tragic life, but at the end, he managed to get his revenge become his own man.

Suddenly Orpheus hissed in pain, he stood up which caught everyone's attention.

"Oz? Are you feeling all right?" Cornelio asked, remembering that during his journey, he encountered him, saying that he intends to meet Big Boss, so they both shared a same goal.

"Y-Yeah, it must be just a small headache. I'll be back soon!"

He left, leaving them confused. They couldn't help but feel that something is wrong here. Orpheus was not behaving well and this was certainly worrying.

"Cornelio, do you know why he is acting like this?" Asked Liz

"I… I honestly have no idea what is going on. When I met him during my travel, he has shown to be a decent person. He never had those headaches during our journey and now happening all suddenly is concerning" Explained Cornelio.

Orpheus walked through the halls while groaning at the headache. He simply couldn't stop this pain. He just keeps remembering something, about a mission, a mission to do something. Then he heard voices, voices telling him to do something, and he was slowly losing his mind.

The voices were so deep and heavy. It was like if he was falling into some kind of, hypnosis.

Since the arrival of the new recruits especially Kane Nightwolf 3 days ago, the new scientist that develops Kane's 7th Generation Knightmare called Veltro and rumored of the newest Assaualt Rifles for MSF Soldiers...Kaz decide to meet this person together with Rose and Rakshata, they thought he was in R&D Hangar but European Scientists told them that his at the Airfield testing their newest Flight Boosters for Veltro. Rakshata is so eager to meet this Filipino Scientist that develops another 7th Knightmare and as for Ruby since she is a weapon geek, she wants to know what Rifles he contributes for the Mercenaries. When they finally arrived at the airfield every MSF staff crew and pilots greets them while they are busy then they noticed a young scientist at the side of airfield in looking something from his binoculars and talking somebody at his radio.

"Ok...nice and easy then proceed on sound barrier if you can" the Filipino Scientist communicates at the radio

"I believe you're Samuel De La Cruz, the developer of Kane's Knightmare?" Kaz asked, then Samuel look at them with a smile

"Oh hi, sorry I didn't notice you" Samuel greets Kaz then scratched his head, he then extended his hand to shake " Also sorry for not meeting you and Big Boss, I was so hyped about the R&D staff to develop new Knightmares and weapons, call me Sam for short by the way"

"No worries and besides wanna check things you'd contribute for us" Kaz reassures him then accept to shake Sam's hand. Before Rakshata introduces herself, Rose just pops out from his back with her eyes sparkling.

"Hi I'm Rose Washington! Representant of Australia, I heard that not only you developed a Knightmare but you developed weapons like guns?!" Ruby said with complete glee.

"Y-Yeah, ever since the debut of MSF, I was fascinated about the rifles they used"

"You mean our M16A1 rifles?" Kaz asked

"Yeah, come I'll show you" Sam guide them inside of the Hangar until they reached the armory box with Nightwolf insignia.

Sam opens the box and he shows the rifle. It kinda resembles the M16 but shorter and has a lot of special features on the rail system "May I present to you MX516, it's based on your rifles you called M16 but easy to use" (The design is literally HK-416)

Rose goes on Hyper mode and grabs the rifle, drooling and fascinated of Samuel's newly made rifle.

"Oh my god! this is AWESOME!" She shouts raising the new rifle up to the sky "This is looks like the futuristic version of MSF's standard rifles, but more awesome than Britannian Rifles!"

"This is fascinating, I can even hold this rifle in one hand" Kaz comments until he realized something "is it me or does it kinda reminds me of the Boss' Patriot rifle?"

"Patriot rifle?" Sam confused on what Kaz mentioned with. "Another M16 rifle?"

"Yes but more shorter than this, kinda like a Submachine Gun"

"There you are, Kaz" A voice came in, Miller looks back at the Hangar Entrance it was none other than Big Boss himself while smoking his cuban cigar but he's not alone, the Black Knights are with him Ohgi, Tamaki, Kallen and finally Zero himself.

"Boss, good to see you" Miller greets the legendary himself then he noticed the charismatic leader of Black Knights "Oh Zero, glad you're okay as well"

"The pleasure is mine, Miller" Lelouch greets Kaz.

"So what's new around here?" Boss asked while looking around

"Well, our new weapons and knightmare developer here just made the finest rifle for us" Miller told Boss about MX516 then handed to him "Check it out, hope you like it"

Big Boss grabs the rifle and then examined it. First he unload the magazine then pulled the charging handle 2 times to make sure that it will eject the bullet or cock it properly from the chamber...it seems perfectly fine...since this rifle is somehow identical from M16 he pulls the forward assist assembly to check the mechanism inside, his eyes are completely widened. It was all perfect, the young developer able to perfect the parts inside the rifle it was literally the same as M16 but with brand new parts...he put it back a whole again took another look and this time he took a good look at the railing system and the barrel, fascinated, he drops his cigar step on then go on some kind of weapon geek.

"Hmmm is the hider CQC compatible?" Big Boss asked Sam

"Well the railing got a lot of customizable parts" Sam informs then adjust his glasses "Change it up the way you want to meet your everyday needs"

"Attachable Sight, Rail System...not bad"

"Umm yeah, you can attach some grips or any under barreled weapons like grenade launchers or mini shotguns" the young scientist give Big Boss some hints

"The frame's pretty rigid, no rattle" Big Boss said while he aim the rifle "Question though, how do you know the specs of M16?"

That's when he started to fidget his fingers, there is the reason how he know the whole specs and mechanizations of this new rifle

"Well you see, we took one of your M16 rifles" Sam reveals themselves, their eyes widened.

"When and where?" Miller asked

"2 months ago, when you liberated the town in Germany from E.U."

After taking out Britannian outposts at the nearest town, the MSF and the locals were celebrating their victory. While having their fun, somebody just snuck one of their M16 rifles that placed in their gun racks unnoticed...

Sam is working some adjustments of Knightmare Veltro for next sortie until Kane just return back at their hideout with a souvenir, MSF's standard rifle the M16A1.

"Sam can you do a tinkering with this rifle?" Kane hands over the M16 to Sam "don't worry I'll takeover things here"

"Wait is this the standard assault rifle from the MSF?" Sam asked Kane nodded "how the hell did you get your hands on this?!"

Kane give him a long silence then smiles until Sam realized something.

"You stole it...didn't you?"

"Look it's just one time, so we can tinker it to make some new rifles" the heir of Nightwolf reassured his

Filipino friend "besides not only we can return the rifle back, we can contribute the new one"

"Alright I'll trust your judgement, give me 2 days, and I can make one in no time" Sam shrugged his shoulders with a sigh then proceeded to tinker the gun to developed a new one.

After explaining everything, Sam scratches his back at his head nervously. Big Boss and Miller looks each other, then shrugged their shoulders.

"You know we don't mind it at all" Miller reassures him "Besides, we sometimes contribute our guns (mostly AK-47) to arm the locals that volunteer themselves to support us"

"But next time make sure to ask our guys first before taking their stuff" Big Boss advised "No wonder one of our guys said he lost his rifle at the town in Germany, he thought that one of the locals took it without noticing them"

"Sorry"

"Anyway, can I test this rifle?" Big Boss requested.

"Um yes, go ahead give a try!" Said Sam with glee, then guided him to the shooting range test before Big Boss loaded the Magazine "By the way Big Boss, as for ammunitions, the chamber can also accept the Britannian Rifle's rounds so you don't have to worry for running out of ammo"

Sam distributes the Ear Muffs to Rose, Rakshata, and Ohgi except Kaz, Kallen, Tamaki and Zero, Kaz and Kallen doesn't have problem with gunshot sounds since they are always at the battlefield, Zero was wearing his mask that has also a sound protection against very loud sounds, but Tamaki is damn idiot, he thinks that gunshot sounds is nothing. Big Boss loads the magazine to the rifle, pulls the charging handle, switchs to semi-auto first, aims the rifle and then pulled the trigger.

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

He fired 3 single shots, Big Boss felt the MX516's fire power is awesome. The recoil is steady thanks to the modified butt stock, the pistol grip is smoother than the M16 and finally he switches to Full-Auto trigger.

*RATATATATATATATATA*

Big Boss unleashed the rounds and surprisingly the recoil is not giving him a hard kickback, this rifle is more variable than the M16, it's kinda like the Colt Model 727 back in their time before the Peace Walker Incident but more easy to hold and the grip is more smooth.

"Outstanding piece of work Professor De La Cruz" Big Boss praised Sam, unloads the mag then pulled the chamber to take out the bullet "Do you have the blueprint for this?"

"Oh yes Boss" Sam chirped, he grabs the tab then shows them "Here you go"

Sam hands the tab over to Big Boss and Kaz, they analyzed it and they were fascinated by his work, Rose also peeked to see his work and then her eyes are glistening with a huge smile. Miller took out his Idroid to scan the MX516 Blueprint, after the scan Big Boss handed it over to Sam.

"Boss I'll inform the R&D Weapons Staff to make them" Kaz said then his Idroid to sent the Blueprints to the Weapon Section.

"Alright Kaz, from now on the MX516 will be the MSF's standard rifles" Big Boss announced.

"Ummmm Big Boss" Sam interrupted "I know this will be the new standard rifles for MSF Infantries but I don't want it to replace the M16A1, so why not to upgrade into better one?"

"Oh? Do you have another idea for M16?" Big Boss asked, he started to like him.

"We can change the parts, barrel and the mechanism inside the rifle into a new one" Sam explained then he shows again his tab about how to change the old parts of M16 into a new ones.
(the upgrade M16A1 was actually the modern version of M16A3 but the way he customize is like the Gunsmith Menu from Ghost Recon Breakpoint)

"That is genius, Sam" Miller's eyes widened when Sam shows the M16 evolution "I bet the staff in Weapon Section will gladly accept your project"

"Oh oh! Can I join in?!" Rose started to jump like a kindergarten kid "Well you see I'm good in weapons too and-"

"OK that's enough about guns" Rakshata interrupted, she had enough of gun lessons rubbing her temple "My word, I am trying to introduce myself too, but this little munchkin pops up then goes on hyper mode"

"Ohhhhh sorry about that" Rose hangs her head with embarrassment.

"Don't worry about that little Rose" the Indian genius waves her hand to reassures Rose then glance at the Filipino genius "By the way my name is Rakshata Chawla, I'm also a Knightmare developer"

"Pleasure to meet you miss Rakshata" Sam greets her and extends his hand to shake, Rakshata accept his hand but suddenly grabs his elbow then forced his face comes closer to her, causing him to blush, Rose's face turn into tomato then cover's her very blushed face.

"My my, you are cute for a scientist" Rakshata grins then place her finger under his chin "Young too...Filipino people sure excels when it comes to becoming genius, too bad your country becomes the shadow for Chinese Federation before the Britannia Empire invaded it"

"Aahhh well, my country is on verge of desperation to ally themselves with the Chinese Federation" Sam said then looks down in with dull face "Even though they forced us to sell their children who are genius to immigrate themselves as Chinese Citizen to help and upgrade their weapons before the Empire turned my homeland into Area 12"

Big Boss and Kaz knew about this, one of the Chinese recruits spilled the beans about the Eunuch's atrocities. Filipino people are being forced to send their children that are genius to China for good graces and alliance against the Britannia Empire while doing behind the backyard of the little Empress, the Eunuchs are running the show and they are more corrupted as the Britannian Nobles and because of them Philippines has been fallen then turn into Area 12.

"Well enough with that gloomy face" Rakshata cheers him up to change the subject "Since you're the developer of the Knightmare - what is his name again, Kane was it?...Where is your baby?"

"Baby?" Sam confused then looked at Kaz "wait what she means about that?"

"She meant your Knightmare, that's what she calls them when every time she creates her own Knightmare" Miller explained while Rakshata look everywhere in search for Sam's masterpiece.

"Actually we kinda test the new flight thrusters for Veltro" Sam answer Rakshata's question, somehow Lelouch raises his eyebrow inside of his helmet because that name was familiar, it's the name of the ancestor from the Noble Family that were assassinated before-

*RADIO WENT ON*

"Sam, you there?" Sam's radio went on, Kane's voice heard "You've been silent for 20 minutes, something wrong?"

"Nope nothing Kane" Sam answered Kane from his radio "We got guests, Big Boss and Miller came here to check the rifle project I made, not only them...Zero and the Black Knights are here too"

"Is that so? Alright then I'll return back immediately" Kane response but Sam something in his mind.

"Hey Kane, since they are here, why not give them another Air Show" Sam requested since the Black Knight's scientist is here.

"Roger that, be there in a minute" the radio went off.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, this way please" Sam guide them outside of Hangar where the Airfield was "I hope you all enjoy the Grand Air Show!"

Everybody is looking around for Kane's Knightmare but nothing shows up.

"Ok that's funny, where the hell is your masterpiece anyway?" Tamaki said in sarcastic way.

"Tamaki, he said will be here in a minute" Ohgi reminded him.

"What? It's already passed a minute!"

Sam said nothing but he smiles then point his finger up, they follow where he points at then finally they witness the masterpiece that Sam and Kane develops and it stop on midair...it was a red Knightmare that is look like a Medieval Dark Knight, its more bulkier than a normal Lancelot, it has wolf face like design on its chest, it has a wing like thrusters and finally the cyclops like eye is more sinister than Lancelot's optics and it also serve as Factsphere Sensor. Kane did a little close up then flies up to proceeding boost straight until he reaches the sound barrier, because of that they felt the impact from Veltro's jet thrusters. Big Boss and Miller didn't flinch since they are always at the airfield checking their fighter planes, Kallen, Ohgi, and Tamaki are trying to fight off the wind while Zero is still standing there with his cape flew open. Fascinated at the Knightmare's boost, Rose is having a hard time to stand against the jet wind. When she is about to flew away, Sam grabbed her arm and supports her, which also made her blush, finally Rakshata is somewhat in wonderland or something, her eyes sparkles and she even drop her smoking pipe, her eyes completely lock on Kane's Knightmare, the way how he fly gracefully and as for the body is more sinister and elegant than any Knightmare she saw.

"IS THAT THE KNIGHTMARE YOU DEVELOPED?!" Rose shouts since the jet is loud, still clinging to Sam's arm

"OH YEAH, WE GIVE HEART AND SOUL FOR THAT!" Filipino response while holding Rose

Finally the Knightmare Veltro is far away the sounds of the jet went off, Rose finally stood on her feet. Ohgi, Kallen and Tamaki are finally relieved while Zero flap his cape back to normal, Rakshata still awe with Kane's Knightmare. Kane did his air brakes to stop then decide to jets back at the Airfield of the Motherbase.

"EXCUSE ME, GIVE WAY!" Sam tells the MSF Air Deck Crew so they won't be run over by an Knightmare

The Air Deck Crew runs out of the way and finally Knightmare Veltro stops in air, hovering and goes in front of Sam, Big Boss, Miller, Rose and the Black Knights, then lands. Then it stands, giving full view of Kane's Knightmare.

"Well Kallen, you're not the only one who has a Red Knightmare" Tamaki grins making Kallen glare at him

"Wait a second, why is this appearance look familiar" Zero thought himself, somehow the design of Kane's Knightmare remembers him something back then at Pendragon City. Fenris Villa, was it from California?

"Ohhhh myyyy...what an art!" Rakshata was still on hype mode when she finally sees Kane's Knightmare in full view

Suddenly Veltro's chest open, by their surprise. They saw a pilot came out at the chest part instead at the back part like a normal Knightmare but this is different, they can also see some controls and large screens inside of it. Kane in his Black/Red Armored Pilot suit rapple down when his on the deck floor ,they can hear the metal stomp from his metal boot that made Black Knights nervous but what made them shiver is his helmet, it has two glowing blue eyes, the visor some kind of HUD, and the wolf like ears serve as communications. His chestplate has the same Wolf like symbol from his Knightmare including his armor shoulder pads, he has a high tech gauntlet on each arms, the inner suit was black and red camo theme and as for the lower part he has pistol holster and 2 pistol magazines at his right leg, his tactical belt has 4 rifle magazines at his left side and 3 pistol magazines at his right and finally has metal boots that also reach his knee part. Now finally out of his Knightmare Kane deactivates and removes his helmet, Rose was shocked at who he was.

"Wait, aren't you the guy I met 3 days ago?!" Rose points her finger at Kane.

"Oh, you're the Australian Representative I heard the news about" Kane informs, he goes to Rose then extend his hand "Kane Nightwolf, at your service Lady-"

"Rose Washington, nice to meet ya" she accepts his hand then shakes "I heard about your family and I'm a really big fan of their work, how they help people from the refugees like giving them good stable jobs and helping the people who are on poverty from every countries that turn Area Numbers!"

"Yeah, thanks, I'm sure they would love to hear that" Kane said in sad smile, still remembers how his family help people from different countries, his father Grand Duke Gabriel Nightwolf and his mother Angelus Valentine Nightwolf are the best example of good Britannians.

"My god, the Heir of the Nightwolf Family lives" Lelouch eye's widened then smiles softly, to him he is grateful that Kane survives from the Emperor's wrath, his Father and the one that lead the massacre is none other than Brismark Waldstien the Knight of One "I bet he joined the MSF for vengeance, he should join me and Black Knights instead but it his decision"

"Aren't you the son of Grand Duke Gabriel Nightwolf?" Ohgi asked, somehow he knew his family.

"Yes, I am" Kane answered then looked serious "The last of my glorious Family"

"Wait what, the last?" Rose looks at Sam "What does he mean, aren't his family also supporting MSF? Where are they anyway?"

Sam looks down in sadness, he wants to answer it until…

"His whole family were assassinated 10 years ago and the Emperor sent the Knight of One to eliminate them all" Zero answered, he knew about the massacre and it disgust him.

"WHAT WHY?!" Rose asked, couldn't believe the news she heard.

"Gabriel Nightwolf confronted the Emperor to end the Social Darwinism and the ruling system in front of his family and the nobles that were present in the throne room, bravely" Zero explained, Kallen and Tamiki are shocked that there was a powerful Britannian noble family were against their system

"He rants about the corrupted system and told everyone that there will be consequences for the Empire's future...of course the Emperor denied this then threaten him that his family's nobility will be stripped but Lord Gabriel is more brave than they all thought, he will never give up helping people even if they are Spanish, Filipino, Chinese, or even Japanese."

The Black Knights members were shocked and awe at the Nighwolf's bravery, they literally didn't care if their Noble Status would be stripped. This time Big Boss continues.

"This won't end well to the Emperor, he ordered the Knight of One" Big Boss continues with a serious face "to kill all the members of the Nightwolf Family"

The eyes of Rose and the Black Knight members widened except Zero since he already knew what happened.

"No...Now I know why Monty Foundation never received calls from Lady Angelus for years" Rose was devastated, Kane's mother was a huge sponsor of Monty Foundation for Charity Campaign but now that she is gone, the Charity stopped.

"That is why I will avenge them" Kane said then look at his Knightmare "It may be a long shot but I will not stop fighting and I will have Justice for my Family"

After saying that Kane stares back at his Knightmare and remembers the good times from his Family including his Father talking about their great Ancestor.

"Knightmare Veltro will gladly help out battles" He responded then looked at them with a growling voice

"I will make Britannia regret for eliminating the family that served them for centuries and thus 'the Ghost of Nightwolf' has risen from the Underworld"

Kane's determination for defeating Holy Britannia Empire is official, somehow Big Boss and Lelouch noticed his teeth turned into fangs when he growled like a Werewolf...

"Veltro, isn't that the name of your Ancestor, Veltro Nightwolf?" Zero decide to asked that and Kane nodded "No wonder why the design of your Knightmare is the same the one he wears his armor for centuries"

"Veltro Nightwolf? Who is he?" Rose asked to Sam.

"Kane's Ancestor, for centuries before Emperor Charles Vi Britannia, him and his Family were the loyal Knights that served the old Britannia Empire" Miller explained. He learned not only Kane's parents, his infamous Bloodline as well.

"Before the creation of the Knight of Rounds, he formed a Clan that will fought the enemies of the Empire for peace and justice and they are also the War Heroes that fought the wars of Napoleon, there are also some rumors that they also called the 'Immortal Hunters' but it doesn't have full information about this, since it was buried from his old Estate before they moved in Pendragon long time ago"

Lelouch's eyebrow raised, he never heard that before not even the Britannia Archives about 'Immortal Hunters', maybe something that his father wants to buried knowledge about Nightwolf Bloodline.

"But now my bloddline is extinct, because we are against the Emperor's system and the Social Darwinism" Kane said with venom then flashback images of the corpse of his family, his Uncles, Aunties and Cousins including Royal Knights were being hanged at the center of Pendragon but what breaks his heart is when he saw the decapitated head of his father, piked at the center showing all the supporters around the world even Britannians who defies the Emperor, any nobles or commoners will suffer the same fate "I'm gonna make them suffer for what they did to me and my family"

"Don't worry Kane" Big Boss reassured , then he pat Kane's shoulder "Your family will be avenged, but for now we will aid the Black Knights"

"He is right Kane" Zero responded, then extended his hand "not only the MSF, we the Black Knights will gladly accept your abilities to fight against the Britannia, for the honor of your father he will have his Justice"

"Thank you"

Kane accept Zero's hand then shakes, he smiles, finally not only the MSF expanded and a new weapon in their disposal, but the last of the Nightwolf Family is on his side. Kane's vengeance will help Lelouch against Britannia.

"Well enough of all that gloomy side now, so Sam" Rakshata decide to change the subject to make happy tone instead "What can you tell me about your creation?"

"Alright, let me present to you 7th Generation Knightmare, Veltro" Samuel presents his masterpiece "This Knightmare is built by Kane's design...the Inner Frame has more stability and more flexible like the Lancelot. As for the cockpit rather the back part, we decide to transfer it to the chest part, you see we are not a huge fan of Hunchback Knightmares"

Somehow the Knightmare pilots were slightly offended from his opinion except Big Boss because he doesn't have a problem with hideous looking machine, like Metal Gear Zeke, the pod lokks like a fish tank. Sure, the appearance is kinda like a hunchback but at least it's comfortable than the chest part and it's ejectable too. Rakshata on other hand understood. that is why she give the Guren and Gekkas with some designs than the blocky look of their back part.

"Before you retort that your cockpit is more comfortable and ejectable, I won't judge against that" Sam reassures them then goes at front of Veltro then points the cockpit

Then Kane tap something from his gauntlet, the cockpit closed and Sam shows his tab about the inside of Veltro's cockpit. When the cockpit went on, it shows the whole screen is like a ball inside, you can see everything even if you look behind.

"it's a Panoramic Cockpit, creating a 360 degree field of vision screen so you have no problem looking behind you when some enemies are trying to shoot you from behind and not only that, it shows you some tactical layout of the battlefield" Sam explained, this gives the idea to Rakshata for future projects "In order to create chest part, we decided to wider the height a little bit, so we can create the cockpit properly"

"No wonder why it's taller than a Sutherland" Big Boss said, he already saw one of the picture of his Knightmare standing beside at the captured Sutherland in E.U. "Kinda slightly taller as Zero's Gawain"

"But isn't the Float Unit easier to use than the jet thrusters?" Miller asked, ever since Lloyd finally completed the Float System data, they decide to build their own Float Units for their Knightmares.

"Point taken, but I'm much of jet booster fan" the Heir of Nightwolf shrugged his shoulder.

"That will also eat up your power source" Rose added as well "The Yggdrasil Drive and the Active Core Luminous will burned up or the Energy Filler will blow up!"

"Lady Rose, do you remember the buyer who bought a whole container of Rare Earth Element called Celerium?" Kane asked her until she realized something.

"Wait...the one who bought a whole container of Celerium-You're the buyer?!"

"Please don't tell me that you fused it with the Sakuradite then also turn it into Power Source" Rose is was starting to tremble.

"Samuel, Kane, you do realize that Knightmare you built is a god damn bomb that will went off?" Big Boss reminded them but Sam decide to calm them.

"Calm down Big Boss, there is a way to keep that 'Bomb' you keep talking about in check" the Filipino Genius reassures, then looks at Kane. He nodded, telling him to show them...Kane goes to the rope to rapple up then headed at the side of the waist, he opens the armor plate and showed the inner frame has some kind of 3 rectangle like slot with a word of 'N-JAMMER CANCELLER' on it

"Now you see, me and Sam developed a device that negates the effects of Celerium and Sakuradite" Sam continues "if you manage to fuse it with good portion of it, it creates a field to suppress the effect. without rapture it then explodes"

"Did you test it before?" Big Boss asked since he doesn't want a meltdown in Motherbase.

"Yes we did, 10 times, 2 years ago" Sam answered while scratching the back of his head.

"How the hell did nobody or anyone in Britannia, E.U. and the Chinese Federation know this?!" Tamaki rants.

"We do the testing grounds in the Middle Eastern Federation, Afghanistan" Kane responded "Besides, it doesn't have a problem to them because explosions are kinda like a fireworks for them"

That made Big Boss and Miller sweat drop, the way he commented about Afghanistan not having problem with huge explosion because it's the same way in their world, there has been several reports of missile launches in the Middle East.

"We kept on trying ,until we finally made it" Sam said then stares back at Knightmare "We don't have to worry about losing power filler"

"You...Are...GENIUS!" Rakshata screams then hugs Sam "How about helping me upgrade my baby Guren for one of your inventions? Don't worry, I'll pay you billions"

"Ahem...Miss Rakshata, I know you want some of his inventions, but he is still my employee" Big Boss reminds her, not to mention that Kane and Sam created the first Nuclear Type Knightmare, then looks at Zero "We can give you some new weapons like guns or upgraded Knightmares but something like Veltro, that's where we draw the line, even if you pay billions for this. Sorry, Zero"

Rakshata pouts ,disappointed for not helping out to upgrade more with her Guren, as for Zero he understood, he can't have a bomb like Knightmare to pilot somebody, especially Tamaki.

"Oh well so much having our own powerful Knightmare" Tamaki disappointed thinking that his gonna be some badass if he has the Nuclear Knightmare.

"Tamaki, that won't happen...the Guren and the Gawain are enough" Zero scolded.

"Next up the Armor" Sam introduce the armor of Veltro "this armor has Ultra-Relient Alloy to not only shrugs off convention weapon attacks, it can also withstand Lancelot's Varis rifle...except the new developed Hadron Cannons like Gawain"

"My my never heard of that kind of Metal before" Said the Indian Scientist fascinated.

"And where did you acquire this kind of metal?" Zero asked, this rare kind of metal seems to be useful.

"That will be classified by the way" Kane responded, Big Boss and Miller looks at him while the Black Knights are confused "Only me and Sam, including high rank MSF staff, can know this"

"Don't you trust me and the Black Knights?"

"I trust you and your miracles Zero, but this is out our jurisdiction" Kane looks at Big Boss but somehow he understood.

"He is right, whatever this is, it has some kind of the tech that are the same level as the Metal Gear ZEKE" Big Boss agrees Kane's suggestion "We can't just share with you or anyone completely"

Zero was getting irritated from not having one of their new tech "Is this Metal Gear or Nuclear Machines really that dangerous to use? They already used it to defend their Motherbase but it still hasn't used this 'warhead' they are talking about. "OH OH SAM" Rose calls Sam, it seem she has something in mind "What arsenal does the Knightmare Veltro have?"

They finally saw Veltro's loadout, one is an Knightmare Assault Rifle but different, it's not like the ones from Britannian Knightmare guns because its entirely different, one is a Modified Knightmare Bazooka, one cylinder object and a shield that it has some kind of axe underneath it. Rose is getting on weapon sweet tooth now.

"The Knightmare Assault Rifle is kind of identical of MX516" Miller comment about Veltro's Assault Rifle.

"That Sir Miller is Special Knightmare Assault Rifle unit X or SKAR-X for short" Sam presented the Knightmare Assault Rifle "Unlike other Machine Rifle like the ones from Sutherland, Burais, and Gloucester this one is more tactical and robust, and its loaded with Celerium Rounds

"Are you sure this is clean?" Miller was still cautious when it comes Britannians spying.

"Oh yes he is, he only serve with my father and the Family not to the Emperor" Kane answered, somehow there are other Britannians who are still loyal and support the Nightwolf Family.

"Alright Kane, it's time to test the Blaze Saber" Sam said, Kane in his Knightmare tries to test their new developed Beam Sword, Veltro ignited the Blue Beam Blade from the cylinder hilt, it is a majestic weapon "Ok, now the Beam Axe underneath your shield, then turn it into Naginata"

Kane did what Sam said, ignited the Beam Luminous Axe or also known as Blaze Axe, it's kinda like a pincer weapon. Kane wave his Knightmare's Beam Weapons like he is some kind of concert lights, next in order to test it if this is requirement for offensive weapon Sam prepared an abandoned Glasgow as an testing dummy, Kane test the Blaze Saber first so he slash horizontal cutting the Glasgow's head like a butter, still smoking from the burning metal so Sam write something at his paper. Next the Beam Axe, he did the downward move,cutting the whole body of Glasgow in half, it is the same as Blaze Saber but a bigger beam.

"Okay...now combined the Blaze Axe to into Naginata and-" Sam is about to finish his sentence, then he noticed that 3 Gun-Ru from Chinese Federation came out from the forest "KANE, GUN-RUs!"

"Samuel De La Cruz, come quietly and submit" an Chinese pilot Leader speaks on speaker.

"Sorry my friend, but he is not going anywhere" Kane response back in speaker as well "Tell your High Eunuch Masters that they can all go to hell!"

"You damn Britannian, you will pay for your insults!" the Chinese leader growled then looked at his two followers "You two, teach this Britannian that nobody messes with the Crimson Dragons!"

"Sam, get to safety!" Kane tells Sam to make sure he will not get into crossfire so the Filipino Scientist rushes behind of the abandoned house while holding his camera.

Two Crimson Dragon Gun-Rus burn out their Landspinners then fires their Manipulator Guns, it didn't do anything from Veltro's armor so Kane is confidant to attack them in Melee attacks, Veltro hover boost straight at the two Gun-Rus with them with his Blaze Saber. He horizontal slash to cut the Gun-Ru in half that also killed the pilot as well, the other Gun-Ru tried to get close to shot him point black but Veltro slice off the Gun-Ru's guns then stabs it, killing the pilot inside too. The Crimson Dragon leader decide to go on full attack, his Gun-Ru is modified than his two minions, it also attached with Rocket Launcher at the right and missile pod at the left, the Leader did his zig zag dash then fires his missiles while Kane hovers away not hitting the missiles, one is hit but it didn't nothing with it but suddenly the Leader anticipate this so he fires his Rocket Launcher. Kane use his shield to block the rocket he knew the rocket won't do any damage to his armor but the impact will be annoying, after he blocks the rocket Kane ignites the Blaze Axes then combine it turn into Blaze Naginata. The Leader of Crimson Dragons is getting nervous then fires everything he got, Veltro hovers zig zag to evade the missiles and rockets even taking hits with Gun-Ru's bullets when now his closer he twirls his Blaze Naginata to cut off the guns, the rocket launcher and missile pod then finally stab at the pilot cockpit killing the Leader.

After taking out the Crimson Dragons, Kane deactivates his Beam Weapons then goes to Sam and brought down Veltro's right to get him hop on it.

"Sam come on, let's get out of here before more of Chinese Federation Army investigate here" Kane informs his Filipino friend, Sam nodded then hops on at Veltro's hand "I'll contact Nikolai for a pickup, will lay low at Siberia for now"

"Alright, oh by the way Kane" Sam chirped, while Veltro left him up he boost to get away from the incident he look the destruction what Kane caused "the Blaze Luminous Beam Weapons are success!"

Big Boss and Miller were fascinated from the demonstration turned battle from Veltro's Beam Weapon testing, as for the Black Knights they were shocked how the Beam Weapons can cut everything, as for Rakshata and Rose they looked like they are on paradise.

"My my, what an Exotic Weapon!" Rakshata in glee while holding her pipe.

"That...Was... AWESOME!" Rose shouts after watching everything, not only the demonstration of Beam Weapons also the action of Knightmare Veltro.

"Well that was supposed to be our demonstration but didn't realize it turned into battle, thanks to those damn High Eunuch's minions" Kane said, his right though, how the High Eunuchs has more minions than Empress Tianzi and Xing Ki.

"Can't blame you to kill those idiots" Rakshata scoffed it seems she got some problems with the Eunuchs as well "Those Crimson 'Lizards' are more of bullies than Xing Ki's Army, they are more of payroll to those High Eunuchs"

"Well, now we know what the Beam Weapons can do" Miller noticed a Long Rifle with many plugs, kinda like testing or something "But what about that?"

"Oh that is Work in Progress" Sam answered, he goes to the Rifle still working "after creating Blaze Melee Weapons we also decided to create a Beam Rifle that is based on Lancelot's VARIS rifle"

"Hmmmm you decided to create a weapon that is based on VARIS too?" Rakshata hummed, Sam nodded then goes at the barrel.

"Yeah but instead of Impact Rail ammo we decide to go on Hadrons Energy" Sam responded, the eyes of Rakshata and Kallen widened.

"Wait how the hell you gonna do that?" Kallen asked, she knew how powerful the Hadron Beam is "We both know that the Hadron Weapons are powerful as cannons, I don't think it will work in Rifle Weapons"

"No, unless you use Gefjun Field so you can control the Hadron Beams without a problem" Rakshata figures out, she remembers that she fixed that flaw from Zero's Gawain "if you got yourself the Gefjun Disturber"

"I got it covered" Kane said then shows the used up Gefjun Disturber.

"Where did you get that?" Raskhata asked, she remembers that the device was used against Lancelot but it was left on the Shikine Island

"After being recruited by Big Boss, we headed back to my safe house to get my stuff and Sam, my inside man from Camelot contacted me then met him at Tokyo Settlement" Kane explained about how he got his hands of Gefjun Disturber "He gave me this device that stunned Lancelot, so I'm thinking why not use this for the rifle what we developed."

"I dissemble it then manage to find something interesting" Sam shows his tablet about the Gefjun Field "the Gefjun Field can suppress the neutrons so you can control the Hadron's power with ease"

"But right now we need a long overhaul to make sure it will not blow off my face" Kane look at the rifle thinking that he will make sure to make it done.

"It's called Hadron Magnum Rifle but also known as Vector Rifle" Kane answered

"Oh Sam, maybe I can help you complete the Vector Rifle" Rose waved her hands somehow they didn't notice that she is on top of the rifle then looked at Miller "Can I come back here at Saturday?"

"Don't worry, I'm sure they will agree and besides" Rose reassures him "I'll make some appointments with the CEO of Ironwood Weapon Industries and Schnee Company, I'm sure Seila and Aerith will help me out"

Big Boss and Miller heard about them, Seila Polendina is the scientist at the Ironwood Industries creating weapons and their Knightmares, as for Aerith Schnee she is the daughter of the Schnee Family. According to Rose her father is a Britannian and the reason why he married her Australian mother Erina Schnee is to take their name and fortune to become wealthiest man in Australia they even heard rumors about using refugees from different countries as slave labor, the Australian Government did nothing because he has more power than them, the only one against them is the Washington Family, somehow Rose is a close friends with Aerith.

"I understand the help with Australian's best scientist but what's got to do with the Schnee?" Kane asked, he is grateful with Rose help together with Seila, but somehow he doesn't have a good impression with Aerith who is high and mighty brat especially her father, Esidisi, when he insults his family for being bleeding hearts. Last time ,after he bought the whole container of Celerium, he noticed a Schnee Personal VTOL and Esidisi was inside flying around Sydney, he did a humiliation prank on him by shooting his Rocket launcher without using guidance lock on mode, it may not kill him but at least he gave him a crybaby Heart Attack.

"Don't worry, Aerith is not like her father" Rose stated again "She may be an Ice Princess but she has a warm heart and I'm sure she can provide me some goods'"

"Alright, I'll trust your judgement" Kane answered but still doubtful about Aerith.

"Well it seem our time here is done" Zero said, Lelouch has more things to do, but before he leaves "Big Boss if you don't mind, can we acquire one of Samuel's creations?"

"What do you have in mind Zero?" Big Boss asked

"After you manufacture this MX516 for your new Standard Assault Rifles, can we acquire some them for my army's new guns?" Lelouch requested, since he saw the newest Rifles he was fascinated and he wants more of them "It will help our troops for future battles"

"Sure, since you pay our service, this one is on the house" Big Boss answers then came out another cigar ,but before he ignites his lighter…

"Including the Beam Weaponry as well" Zero added, somehow he doesn't want return back empty handed "If it's okay for you?"

They all gone long silent until Miller spoke.

"I think we can consider that one, Boss" Miller suggest "it may not be based Celerium weapons, but at least we can contribute that instead"

"Hmmm you got a point" Big Boss agrees, he ignites his cigar then puff some smoke and look at Zero "Alright, you got a deal but only the guns and the Beam Weapons nothing else"

"Here you go" Sam gave his drive to Rakshata, it is about the creation of Blaze Luminous Beam Weapons "Make sure to adjust the beam particles so it won't go critical"

"Don't worry my dear" Rakshata responded then received Sam's drive "We can handle things, here so no worries"

"This is enough for now" Zero said then looked at Ohgi and his followers, he nodded then back to MSF but he extend his hand to Kane "We shall take our leave, looking forward to see you in future battles"

After accept Zero's friendship, Ohgi and Kallen bows at Kane to gain respect since his family has a good reputation from Numbers in different country, Tamaki did the bro-fist, Kane was confused, so he followed it. Rakshata wave then blows some kiss to Sam and Kane, the Filipino Scientist blushed while Kane just did a friendly wave. As for Rose before she goes at her personal VTOL, Sam gave her some Blue Prints about the Veltro Rifle so her friend Seila help out.

After the Black Knights and Rose headed back to their respective base, Kane and Big Boss had some private conversation.

"Trust me, you can't see in the map as well" Kane stated then took something on his pocket, it's a metal that coated in his Knightmare then handed to Big Boss "This is the Metal what I'm talking about, the Vibranite"

"Vibranite?"

"A metal that absorbs the soundwaves, vibrations, and kinetic energy that will make the metal stronger" Kane explained how the metal works, he remembers how the King use it as his suit, their city power source and their development of Knightmare "Also they got lots of it, a whole mountain like the where the Sakuradite is but more bigger"

"This is one hell of a metal you coated on your Knightmare" Big Boss praised Kane "If the Britannia Empire learns about this, they will go on full invasion for this metal"

"Not only the Empire. The E.U. and the Chinese Federation will get their hands on it as well" Kane stated, because he knows the corrupt Bureaucratic Leadership of .E.U. and the infamous power hungry the High Eunuchs of Chinese Federation.

"So why me and the MSF, not Zero and the Black Knights" Big Boss questioned, he wants to know why he trust him more than the so called 'Knight of Justice'

"Don't get me wrong Big Boss, I trust the people of Black Knights, but not Zero" Kane replies somehow he felt something odd "I don't know but my instinct tells me not to fully trust him, I hope you understand, you may trust him because he is your client but to tell you the truth he has a hidden agenda"

The cities are exotic and futuristic because of their resource, the cities have more power than the ones from different country and they got high grade equipment's, gadgets, and finally Knightmares that looks like robotic animals. The Ukanda capital Bast where the King of Ukanda lives, looking at the city and his lively people thinking things are just the same but somehow he felt that his peaceful country will still be caught in the war and it's only a matter of time that superpower countries, especially the Holy Britannian Empire, will learn their location, so he will have to be prepared by building more weapons and Knightmares that's based on their Vibranite Technology.

The King look at the voice came from and it his sister Dia Vande.

"Ah my sister, how's the work?" the King asked.

"I'ts too many work, but i still love it, it is my hobby after all" she responded with a grin but turned worried "Are you sure about this brother, are we about to reveal ourselves to the world?"

"We will no longer be able to keep hidden longer" the King answered her "it's just a matter of time that other superpowers will learn of our existence ,especially the Holy Britannian Empire, it's getting more and more stronger, so we need to be prepared"

"What about the organization that are fighting against Britannian Empire, the Black Knights?" Dia asked they learnt about the Order of Black Knights and the infamous Leader Zero.

"I won't lie, their actions are noble but" the King admit then closees his eyes "but I don't fully trust Zero, even wearing his mask, I knew he has something behind his curtain"

"What about the Militares San Frontieres and this Big Boss person" Dia meant the Mercenary Organization and their infamous Legendary Soldier Big Boss "isn't what Kane decide to work with them?"

"Ah the great Outer Heaven and their leader Big Boss, Kane spoke highly of them" the King remembers about his old friend joining the Mercenary Nation ,good thing he authorize his Ukandan Science Team to equip Kane's Knightmare Armor with Vibranite as a gift for saving him, if wasn't for Kane, he would be dead and never become the King of Ukanda also known as….

"King N'daku, the council is waiting" A Bald Woman Warrior that is armed with a Silver Spear informed.

"Tell them I'll be there, Mokoya" the King name N'daku orders Mokoya, the warrior bows then left to inform the council but before he leaves "Dia, if we get the word with our friend Kane tell him Ukanda may be ready to meet Big Boss"
