The game continued without Sunny for a good twenty minutes as she'd locked herself in the bathroom.

Momo was the first to check on her, then Tsu and then Kaminari.

"Yep, she's definitely still alive in there," Denki laughed as he returned to the circle, clutching at his stomach and wiping away a tear, "She's wailing away."

Bakugo was silent as he picked at the fibre of the carpet. Occasionally he could hear her woeful crying, and it was getting to him.

A few moments passed and when there was another pathetic 'waaaah' from down the hall Bakugo found himself on his feet.

"Where you going, dude?" Kirishima asked, following Bakugo with his eyes as the blond disappeared into the kitchen.

There was some banging and closing of doors, "I'm going to make that stupid girl shut up." Bakugo growled back.

Immediately, Kirishima was on his feet in a panic but hesitated when he saw Bakugo exit the kitchen again holding a glass of milk.

"Stop following me," He barked as Kirishima once again made a move towards him, "I'm not doing anything."

And with that, he left the room and headed towards the bathroom.

Sunny sat on the floor of said bathroom whining and pining, rubbing her weeping eyes with the backs of her hands. She jumped out her skin when a loud banging on the door pulled her from her self-pity pit.

"Oi, fleabag, open up." Bakugo's gruff voice called through the door, "I've got some milk for you."

Wordlessly, and with a confused expression Sunny slid the door open just enough to poke her face out.

Bakugo blinked at the empty space in front of him for a few moments before looking down and finding Sunny on the floor.

"Here." He grunted, crouching down, and pushing the glass at her.

Gingerly she took it and gave it a suspicious sniff.

"The fuck? I haven't done anything to it, you psycho. Now let me in." Bakugo pushed Sunny out the way as he crawled into the bathroom and took a seat beside her as she backed up to sit against the sink.

"Who knew you were such a wimp." He scoffed, watching as Sunny took continuous sips of the milk. She said nothing, just continued to watch him with large, glassy eyes. She noticed the red tension marks around his neck where her thighs had been not long before.

There was a long pause, only filled with the sound of Sunny's quiet drinking.

"What food do you like, then?" Bakugo suddenly asked, maybe a little more aggressively than he'd intended.

Sunny continued watching him for a moment before lowering the glass, she opened her mouth.

"And if you say hotdog octopuses, I'll deck you." He interrupted. Sunny just grinned toothily at him, flashing a milk moustache.

Without even thinking, Bakugo reached up and swiped it away with his thumb, "Messy," He muttered.

"I like sashimi the best, but I also really like sushi." Sunny smacked her lips together hungrily and a dreamy look washed over her face, her pupils going so large Bakugo could see his own reflection in them, "Mmm, yeah."

Bakugo opened his mouth to say something but Mina appearing in the gap of the doorway and crashing the door the rest of the way open stopped him.

Sunny jumped and swung her attention up to Mina.

"The fuck do you want?" Bakugo growled up at the pink-haired girl as she cooed loudly in the doorway.

"Well, isn't this just the cutest?" She squealed, "I hate to interrupt, but it's your turn, Bakugo!"

"What do you mean it's my turn?" He snapped.

"The bottle landed on you, babe."

"How? I'm literally sat in here?"

"It landed on your space, silly goose. Come on, or else it's an automatic forfeit." And with that, she disappeared back towards the living room.

With a grumble, Bakugo heaved himself up off the floor and shoved his hands in pockets. He immediately removed one, however, when he turned to Sunny still sat on the floor. He extended it to her, "Come on."

Sunny reached up for his hand, about to take it when he quickly retracted it, "Sike!" He shoved his hand in his pocket again and walked away, laughing loudly.

Sunny scrambled to her feet, grinning broadly as she chased after him.

They returned to their places, with Sunny still nursing the glass of milk but plopping down between Momo and Tokoyami again with renewed energy.

"Let's fucking get this over with then," Bakugo grumbled, sitting himself down also and stretching his legs out in front of him and leaning back on his hands, "What are my options again?"

"Truth or dare, bro. Not that hard to remember."

Bakugo made a 'tssk' sound, "Dare."

"I dare you to kiss your crush!" Bakugo had barely finished his word before Mina was squealing excitedly over the top of him.

Bakugo's face immediately paled and his heart fucking stopped, "Eh?"

"You've got to do it, it's a dare so it's basically the law." Uraraka continued, bobbing her head frantically.

"Pass." Bakugo stated lazily.

"Woah, so there is someone?" Ochaco sang gleefully.

"Shut it, round face. There isn't," Bakugo scoffed, pulling his legs back into himself and crossing his arms over his chest.

"Look at that body language," Jiro commented mockingly, "That's got self-conscious written all over it."

"Shuddup!"

"Scared she'll reject you?"

"I'm not going to force myself on someone, that's fucking lame!"

"It's just a dare, dude, don't freak out about it. Just kiss her cheek or something." Kaminari interjected, "Wait, or is it a 'he'?" His eyes flickered to Kirishima who immediately looked extremely uncomfortable.

"It's a 'her', fucking dumbass. I like girls!" Bakugo could feel his face getting hotter and hotter. Fuck.

Kaminari laughed, "I can't believe you have a crush on someone, man. That's hilarious."

Bakugo vibrated with rage, "I fucking don't have a crush on someone. I'm not some loser."

"Well, if you're not a loser then just kiss her," Jiro smirked, fiddling one of her headphone jacks.

"Fine!" Bakugo got to his feet.

Double fuck.

He should have just played it off casually, that way he wouldn't have made them all so suspicious. But then bloody racoon eyes and shitty hair both know, having cornered him in the kitchen earlier. Mina had blasted him with so many questions he stumbled and showed all his cards.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

He was just standing there like a lemon. He'd been avoiding looking at Sugawara's face.

That stupid fucking pretty face.

Sunny was holding her breath as Bakugo got to his feet and stood around for a moment. Her heart was racing, she was so nervous she could feel her hands getting all sweaty in her lap.

What if it was her? But he's not looking at her? So, it can't be her, right? Oh man, she was panicking so bad. Who was it? What if it was Momo – who was super pretty and super smart. Oh, shit. What would she do if he kissed Momo? Something in her chest heaved and she suddenly wanted to be sick. It's got to be Momo. Or Ochaco, or-

Bakugo dropped to his knees in front of Sunny, those red eyes watching her carefully as he glared at her.

"Stay fucking still," He muttered, grabbing her cheeks forcefully with his right hand and pinching her face slightly, squishing her lips into a strange pout.

Then, he pressed his lips to hers.

Sunny squeaked against him. He was still glaring at her through slightly hooded eyes, smouldering and completely burning right through her.

Barely a second passed, and then he let go. Pushing her away from him by the face. Sunny flopped backwards in defeat, rolling onto the floor like a wet fish.

"Holy shit, dude, you killed her," Kaminari muttered as Bakugo returned to his seat. His head was bowed down to mask his blush.

Suddenly, Sunny pulled herself up, swatting Yaoyorozu away when she started to fuss her.

"Poor effort." She announced boldly, watching Bakugo's back as he froze and shuddered.

"The fuck did you just say?" He glowered over his shoulder, eyes white with wounded pride.

"That was shit." Sunny crossed her arms over her chest and looked away with a 'humph', "You're a bad kisser, Katsuki."

Bakugo's eye twitched as he spun to face her, "Oh? And you think you could do better?"

"I know so." Sunny peered at him.

"Come on then, you fucking bitch." Bakugo began to march back over to Sunny, completely forgetting about his embarrassment and frigidness moments previous.

Sunny jumped to her feet and closed the gap between the swiftly, grabbing Bakugo by the hem of his shirt and pulling him down roughly to her level, crashing their lips together.

"Should… Should we go?" Kaminari asked Mina nervously.

Mina shook her head insistently, watching intently, "Absolutely not."

Sunny pulled Bakugo down further, leaning back a little so he had to put his hands around her waist just so she didn't topple them backwards. He grabbed her hard, pushing them together more forcefully than he probably should have, and in return, she bit his lip.

Bakugo hissed at her, opening his left eye a little to glare at her, but Sunny just took the opportunity to slip her tongue into his mouth, deepening the kiss and sliding her tongue against his.

Bakugo, admittedly, was a little lost as she took charge of the kiss. Her small hands around his collar held him exactly where she wanted him to be, and her tongue explored his mouth almost expertly. He just held her close, enjoying the smell of her and the warmth of her in his arms.

His heart was racing, having thought about this moment over and over in the unmentionable moments before he fell asleep at night.

And then, just like he had, she pushed him away by where her hands were still on the neck of his collar.

She turned her back on him, swatting her tail across his face as she returned to her seat.

Bakugo swallowed thickly, hands twitching slightly. He wanted to grab her again, he wanted to pull her back up against him and continue, but when he turned to return to his seat also, the many eyes of his classmates stopped him. He too wordlessly returned to his seat.

The circle was silent for a long few minutes, eyes darted everywhere, primarily between Bakugo and Sugawara. Bakugo was lounging back again, legs stretched out while propping himself back on his hands as he glowered low at Sunny. She was sat across from him on her knees, smirking triumphantly.

The evening wrapped up without another word being shared between them, and that just cemented things in place in Bakugo's head.

She was just a huge tease. He shouldn't have been so surprised really.

Slowly, he put his shoes on, waiting for Kirishima to finish saying goodbye to their classmates.

"What's with that grumpy face?"

A voice behind him made him pause, "What?" He grumbled, not turning to look at Sunny.

"You confess I'm your crush, kiss me, give me the cold shoulder and then have the audacity to have a grump face?" She tutted loudly, "Such a tease."

Bakugo vibrated, taking the bait and swinging around angrily to poke a finger mere inches from Sugawara's smug little face, "Me the tease? Fuck you. You can't keep your hands off everyone."

Sunny almost looked taken aback, her face softened and she opened her mouth to say something.

But Bakugo word vomited.

"Fucking slut." He spat, eyes flashing. He was just so, so angry! He didn't know how to deal with these strange feelings whizzing around inside of him and he absolutely did not care for them. He didn't want them but he couldn't make them go away. Sunny made him want to kick and scream and throw explosions and pull his own fucking hair out. But then she just stood there, like an easy-breezy coconut completely unaffected by the fact they had just made out. She didn't care! And it annoyed him further that he cared so much when, to him, she cared so little.

He made a move to turn away, but Sunny moved so quickly he barely had time to blink. With a hard thud, she had him pressed up against the hallway wall. Her forearm was strapped across his throat and applying just enough pressure to make him gasp and gape.

"Go on," She seethed, pupils narrowed into thin slits, teeth sliding from her mouth menacingly, "I dare you to call me that again."

Bakugo felt a light pressure on his groin, and when he glanced down, he found Sunny's knee poised and ready to fucking knee him in the balls. He took in those large, powerful thighs, images for a few hours early came back to him, how she'd basically choked him with no effort at all. He definitely didn't want to be kneed in the balls by her.

But he couldn't help himself, "You heard me." He choked out, his own hands finding their way to the arm that held him across the throat, trying to pry her away. But she was stronger than him, and his lame attempts to unhinge her only angered her further.

"Your jealousy is not my problem," she spat, pressing her knee slowly into his groin, "don't you dare," she punctuated the 'dare' with a hard push to the balls, "project your own sexual incompetency onto me." She let him go and took a solid step back.

Bakugo staggered slightly, grabbing onto the wall for support, he watched as she turned to leave, slipping her feet into her sliders, "Suga…" He began, a little breathless.

"Oh!" She gasped, swinging to him, "tell your dad I said hi!" And with that, she closed the distance between them just as Kaminari and Kirishima walked into the hallway, and kneed Bakugo with full force in the balls.

"Woah! Sunny!" Kirishima and Kaminari exclaimed in horror. Kirishima instantly grabbed Bakugo as he keeled over.

"I can't believe I fucking stood up for you!" She cried out, "Everyone told me you were an arsehole and I still stood up for you!"

Bakugo's head snapped up instantly when her voice broke. Horror slid over his face when he caught a glimpse of her screwed-up face just before she quickly disappeared out the front door.

He'd made her cry…

Sunny's phone rang for at least the thirteenth time that night. It was about two in the morning by this point, but she was still up, watching Burlesque and eating her way through the cupboards.

She didn't spare a glance at her phone as it rang next to her phone the sofa, it slowly vibrated its way towards the edge of cushion before finally committing suicide and flinging itself off.

She was so annoyed at herself. She'd been called a slut before, and in fact, she and Denki called each other that on the regular. But coming from Bakugo was so much more vicious. He's spat those words, he'd meant them. Maybe if the timing was different, maybe if she wasn't feeling so soft and vulnerable after their kiss, maybe if she wasn't feeling so nervous and excited about him, maybe if she wasn't about to ask if he would walk her home, maybe then she wouldn't have reacted so strongly.

Did she overreact?

Sunny threw some crisps at the TV in anger when Cher turned Christina Aguilera down, "Silly bitch!"

Her phone rang again on the floor, lighting up right under her eyes annoyingly. She scrunched her face up, trying to avoid the intrusive glow.

"Fuck."

She swooped down to throw it across the room, but her interest got the better of her when the caller was from an unknown number. She silenced the call and checked her missed calls.

Two calls from Ochaco.

Four from Mina.

Three from Denki.

One from Momo.

And now four from this unknown caller.

The call finished in Sunny's hand, but moments later it went off again, the new call lighting up the screen and making Sunny flinch.

She muted it again and checked her messages. A series of messages from this unknown number caught her attention and she opened them.

+81**********

23:02 Missed call

New message: It's Katsuki pick up

23:47 Missed call

New message: Answer your phone

01:46 Missed call

01:47 Missed call

Suddenly, three dots appeared at the bottom of the screen before a new message popped up.

+81**********

New message: Pick up your phone Sugawara.

There was a pause.

New message: I can see you reading my messages. Don't be a dick.

There was another pause.

New message: I didn't mean dick.

New message: Autocorrect.

The phone then rang again. Sunny watched it ring for a while, still annoyed and surprisingly hurt for a bad bitch.

Bad bitches can be sad bitches too, you know.

Finally, on the sixth ring, she answered.

"Suga," A gravelly voice came from down the phone, "Hey."

"Hi." Sunny deadpanned back, leaning back against the sofa harshly.

"You home?"

"What?"

"Are you at home?" There was noise in the background, like rustling against the speaker. Was he outside?

"Of course, I am," She bristled slightly, assuming this was another jab or spiteful comment, "Where else would I be?"

"Good." Bakugo panted a little down his end of the phone, "Then let me in, will you?"

Sunny immediately scrambled off the sofa and ran to the balcony doors. She opened them and headed out into the cold night. She was just wearing her pyjama shorts and a baggy t-shirt, and the cool air immediately sent goosebumps up her arms and make her hair stand on end. She headed towards the balcony that overlooked onto the street and when she peered over it, sure enough, a little blob of blond hair was on the floor like a banana milkshake splat.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" She hissed down the phone.

She caught Bakugo's attention and his head shot up towards the sky, still with the phone against his ear.

"You weren't fucking answering mine or anyone else's calls," He hissed back. Sunny could see his glowing eyes through the darkness, they shone like red marbles catching the light.

"Your face looks like a pizza from up here," She whisper-yelled back, "Your face is the dough base and your eyes look like two stupid pepperoni pieces."

"What the fuck are you talking about? Stop being spiteful and just let me in, it's cold."

"I don't want to let you in." She hissed again, gripping the phone with cold fingers, afraid it would slip from her grasp as she hung over the end of the balcony railing.

"Why not?"

"Because you're a meanie!"

"How many times do I have to apologise?" His voice was a little louder now, although still hushed he was struggling to keep it as a whisper.

"You haven't apologised once, you bimbo!"

There was a long moments silence where Sunny watched Bakugo fidget on the ground. She watched as he crossed his free arm and then dropped it again, and then repeated. He looked around and then back up at her.

"If you don't let me in then I'll use my quirk to get to you." He countered, no longer whispering and instead sounding stern.

"You're not allowed to do that! Aizawa will kill you!"

She heard Bakugo huff on his end of the phone, "Well, then I guess I'm just going to have to stand here and eat all this sashimi on my own."

It was Sunny's turn to hesitate, "Did you say… sashimi?" She looked past Bakugo's mess of blond hair and spied that he was indeed holding a white plastic bag.

"Yeah, I have sashimi and sushi and they also had these custard dumplings in the shape of rabbits-"

Sunny hung up, marching back into her apartment, and making a beeline for the entry buzzer. She immediately opened her apartment door, expectantly waiting for the lift to start moving. It did a few moments later, leaving her on the fifth floor and heading down to the ground floor.

The cool air drifted in from the hallway and made her shiver.

What was she going to do anyway? Grab the food and run? Why was he here? Did he just think he could win back her affection with food? He absolutely could. What flavour custard were the dumplings filled with?

I hope it's not bean – yuck.

The lift doors opened to reveal a somewhat tired-looking Bakugo. His face was smooth and a little grumpy, but he straightened up when he saw Sunny standing at the end of the hall.

"Hey." He muttered, feeling awkward under her intense gaze.

Sunny looked him up and down suspiciously for a few moments. He'd changed from his black trousers and black t-shirt into sweatpants and a baggy hoodie with a white skull on it.

"Why are you here?" She asked him coldly as he came to a stop in front of her. She didn't move from her position of blocking the doorway and she glared up at him with narrow eyes.

Bakugo raised the plastic bag, the smell of fish wafting towards her, "I told you. I have food. You hungry?"

Sunny folded her arms with a huff, finally stepping back into the apartment and letting Bakugo inside, "Always."

Bakugo followed Sunny inside, noticing the tussled-up duvet on the sofa and the crisps all over the floor. He also noticed Endeavour had moved from her bedroom and was now standing at the end of the sofa, glaring right at him with his arms folded as Katsuki entered the apartment.

"Jesus," Bakugo muttered, tearing his eyes away from the intimidating cutout, "Endeavour's moved them."

"I moved him," Sunny replied blandly, "He's made of cardboard, Katsuki, he can't move on his own."

Bakugo huffed, "Obviously, I know that. Why is he out and about?"

"Shoto's picking him up tomorrow."

So many questions… Bakugo thought, but decided it best not to probe too much as Sunny was barely giving him any attention as it was. He didn't want her thinking and talking about Todoroki right now.

Sunny moved to the kitchen and pulled some plates out and some chopsticks.

Squish, squish, squish.

Bakugo looked down as Sunny walked, noticing the strange and yet familiar noise that sounded with every step she took.

Fucking crocs. She was wearing fucking crocs.

"Do you want some wasabi?" She offered, making her way towards the table to lay everything out.

"Er, sure."

"Well, tough. I don't have any," She stuck her tongue out and him and plonked herself down on one of the chairs.

Bakugo bit back a smirk when he realised she wasn't playing with him for once.

Instead, he opted to put the plastic bag on the table, rooting through it and pulling out various plastic and polystyrene containers.

"Where did you get all this from at two-am?" Sunny asked curiously as Bakugo began taking the lids off.

"Places stay open later on Saturdays. Shouldn't you know that, being K.C and all? Didn't you work at night?"

Sunny hesitated, she'd somehow almost forgotten all about that. It seemed so long ago when in reality it was a few months at a push.

"I was never K.C down here officially, so no, I wouldn't know."

Bakugo just hummed in response, discarding the rubbish to one side and seating himself a few seats down from Sunny around the round table, so they were in a nine and twelve position.

He angled himself towards Sunny as she almost excitedly dug into the food, completely ignoring him.

"I…" He began, hesitating when she still didn't acknowledge him. Her ears swivelled his way, however, and he continued, "I shouldn't have said what I said." He admitted, speaking through semi-gritted teeth. Fuck, this was harder than he thought it would be.

Sunny glanced over to him for a split second before returning to the food, "Why did you say it?"

"Because I was annoyed," Bakugo skewered a piece of sushi but had no intention of eating it. He wasn't hungry, and instead, he started smooshing it on his plate as a distraction.

"Annoyed about what?"

"That…" He grimaced, "Thatyouwereignoringme."

"What was that?"

"You were ignoring, dammit!" He shoved his chopstick into the mashed-up piece of sushi. It stayed upright only for a few moments before tipping over.

"You were ignoring me, too!" Sunny exclaimed, "I was waiting for you to come talk to me!"

"Why were you waiting for me? Why didn't you just come talk to me yourself?" Their voices were getting louder and louder, and Sunny even abandoned her food, spinning toward Bakugo on her chair. Her face was annoyed, but her ears were pinned back and her tail was meekly hovering just above the ground.

"Because you're the boy! You're supposed to talk to me first!"

Bakugo huffed loudly, folding his arms, "I thought you were a goddamn feminist. What happened to all that equality bullshit and 'women can do whatever men can do' crap, huh? Or do you suddenly stop being a feminist when it comes to relationship stereotypes?"

Sunny pursed her lips, "And when it's raining."

"Eh?"

"I'm also not a feminist when it's raining and I have to go somewhere."

Bakugo huffed again, dropping back into the chair, and sinking down a little, "Fine." He eventually spat, "We're both in the wrong."

"Oooh, no!" Sunny pointed a chopstick at him, "I didn't call you a slut for talking to your friends! I actually came over to you to ask to talk home with you! Don't you be wiggling out of this one."

"I've said I'm sorry!"

"No, you haven't!"

Bakugo screwed up his face, looking away from Sunny as she continued to glare at him. Her fluffy white hair was piled on top of her head like a pineapple and her t-shirt that read "trust me, I'm a cunt" made it really hard to take her seriously. She was also wearing fucking crocs.

Crocs.

He shouted out in annoyance loudly, grabbing at his hair and pulling at it.

"I don't fucking know what to do," He seethed, now balling his hands into fists and smacking them against the table so hard the food and plates bounced, "You just drive me fucking mental and I fucking hate how you make me feel." His harsh gaze swung to her, "I don't fucking understand and your so goddamn annoying, why wouldn't you just get out my head and leave me alone?!"

He slammed his head into arms, hiding his face against the table, he continued his rabbling, voice slightly muffled as he spoke into the tabletop, "You're always there, where ever I look, and when you're not there I fucking want you to be. I need to be concentrating on becoming a goddamn hero, but I'm always goddamn thinking about your stupid, pretty face and what you're doing and who you're with. I hate it, I hate it. I… I hate you." The last part he muttered sadly, sounding hurt against his arms.

Sunny paused, a little shocked at his outburst. She watched him carefully for a moment, her expression slowly softening as she lowered her chopsticks.

Maybe she was expecting too much from this angry, sweaty man. After all, his brashness was something she liked and admired about him, she couldn't then be annoyed when he didn't know how to be soft and sensitive.

He must be so overwhelmed by everything, and with having the emotional range of an unused teabag channelling all his pent-up frustrations must be exhausting him.

"I'm sorry…" She eventually spoke softly, "I forgot about your emotional constipation." She watched Bakugo vibrate a little, but he soon stopped. He didn't move his face from his arms though, and instead Sunny slid over a few seats to sit next to him. He finally peaked up at her through his arm, red eyes glowing as she shifted her position on the seat to sit cross-legged and facing him.

"I'm… I'm sorry, too." He mumbled quietly, it was barely audible but Sunny's keen hearing caught it. She didn't even press for him to repeat it. It was genuine and strained, and at that moment it was enough. She sympathised, he didn't know how to act with these feelings, and she could see he felt pretty shitty about it.

Hell, Katsuki Bakugo brought her sushi at 2 am, he definitely was beating himself up about it. He was socially incompetent at the best of times, throwing in feelings like these must-have knocked him over the edge.

"I really like you, Katsuki." Sunny purred softly, trying to release the tension he was holding. She watched Bakugo shudder again under her words, but he visibly loosened up as her purr flowed through him. He let it too, he was totally wiped out and he welcomed the calming release.

"Yeah?" He asked, peeking at her again.

"Yeah..."

Sunny slipped off her chair and pushed Bakugo back into his as she slipped effortlessly onto his lap, her legs either side of his on the seat as she snuggled herself against his chest. She rested her head on his shoulder, one hand gently kneading his side comfortingly, while the other reached up to grab some of the fabric of his hoodie on his chest, fisting it softly in her hand.

Bakugo slid down the chair a little, melting as Sunny's body completely moulded into his. Her weight against him was comforting, and her soft purr hummed through him pleasantly. His head fell back as she snuggled into him further, nuzzling into his neck.

His hands that had been hanging limply at his sides from when Sunny had pushed her way onto his lap, found there way up her legs. One rested on her thigh, his thumb gently stroking the soft skin there between the scars, while the other wrapped around her loosely, sliding up her t-shirt a little and resting on the lower portion of her back.

"How are you feeling?" Sunny whispered, her hot breath sent shivers down his spine.

"Tired." He murmured, feeling his eyes become heavy.

"It's been a long day…"

"Yeah, it fucking has."
