~Episode 19~
~Enter Ikuji Ise: Udon's Punishment~
~Flashback: Thirteen Years Ago,~
~First Meet~
"Who are you?" A groggy Yahiko managed to say after he woke up in a cave with a five-year-old blonde child wiping his forehead with a cold towel.
"If you want to get better, I'd save the questions for when you get better," Naruto said smiling down at him. "It took me a while to drag you here, the less you talk, the better odds are of getting better," Naruto said, watching him close his eyes. She wasn't sure if it was because he understood what she said and listened to her, or because he was too weak to keep his eyes open. Either way, she was happy that he was asleep again. A few days went by before he woke up again, except this time he shot up from the floor like someone was chasing him.
"Did she send you here to finish me off?" He said angrily as he grabbed Naruto's hand to pull her toward him. Naruto who was closed to him now was looking directly in his eyes without moving, she frowned when she saw the pool of water around his eyes.
"I'm not sure who 'she' is, but I'm sure no one sent me anywhere to do anything. Besides, why would anyone send a five year to kill someone?" Naruto said still in his grip without trying to move away.
"I don't know where you're from kid, but where I'm from, the younger they are, the more you have to worry about them." He said letting Naruto go, when she still hadn't moved, he frowned at her. "What," he said looking in her deep blue eyes in wonder.
"I don't know who's worse off, you who can't trust children, or me who can't trust adults?" She said shrugging as she got up to go wet the towel again. "Check your forehead to see if your fever is down?" Naruto said coming toward him but stayed a few feet away from the sleeping bag.
"Yeah, thanks," he said looking at Naruto up and down. "Who are you?" He asked her with a frown.
Naruto said nothing as she looked at him for a while before she decided to answer. "I was training at the bottom of the cliff when you landed next to me. It's a good thing I got to you in time to administer first aid, otherwise, you'd be worm food by now." Naruto said giving him the wet towel and a bottle of water.
"You're a child," he said, looking at her skeptically.
Naruto laughed. "Coming from the one who thinks the younger they are the less you should trust them," Naruto said smiling, earning a smile back from him.
"Alright, smart-aleck, how old are you?" he asked relaxing for a bit when he saw that she wasn't a threat.
"Five, and I'm guessing you're older than me," Naruto said tilting her head at him.
"Yeah, five years older," he said finishing off the water.
"I'm Yahiko," he said looking at her up and down as he tried to see if he could pick up on anything that could tell him where she's from.
"Naruto," she said, she didn't tell him her last name because Jiraiya had told her how much enemies the Uzumaki clan still had in the outside countries.
"Where's your Sensei?" He asked looking around.
Naruto sighed. "That's the question of the day, isn't it? He left a week ago after telling me to practice what he taught me and said he'd be back in a little while, but that was a week ago." Naruto said, frustrated that Jiraiya ditched her to go running after women.
"Sounds like someone I know," Yahiko said under his breath as he looked at the small child who looked younger than five. "Thanks for saving me," he said flexing his arms to see that she had taken good care of him.
"For a price, of course," Naruto said with a tint in her eyes.
"Aren't you too young to know the world isn't free?" He asked with a smile.
"Aren't you too old to be naïve about what children know nowadays?" Naruto shot back at him, making him laugh even though he was trying to look stern. "What do you want, kid?" He asked standing up to stretch his legs.
"I want to know how you ended up at the bottom of the cliff," Naruto said watching him frown at her again, she kept her eyes on him to let him know that she was serious.
"I was betrayed," he finally said after a while, breaking away from the stare.
"Who would betray a ten-year-old?" Naruto asked with a frown.
"My sister," he answered at the entrance of the cave as he looked at the water gushing down from the top of the waterfall.
"I'm sorry," Naruto said joining him at the entrance.
"Yeah, it's not your fault. I should have known better than to trust them." He said.
"Them," Naruto repeated.
"She was the one who chased me to a cliff, she was the one who watched me fall, but I'm betting my brother knew about it afterward. He didn't even come looking for me." Yahiko said with his eyes watering again.
"Don't speculate," Naruto said turning around to go back to the cave to grab her bag.
Yahiko turned around to find her with her backpack. "You can stay here if you want, it's safe. I have to go find my Sensei before he gets himself in trouble." She said.
"It's not safe out there for a five-year-old." He said looking at her small build.
"I'm a lot tougher than I look if I survived that orphanage and my step..., believe me, I can survive anything," she said walking by him.
"You're a war orphan." He said looking down at her.
"Something like that, my parents did die in a war, but I live in a village with my guardian. I can't really claim to be an orphan anymore." Naruto said trying not to diminish what real war orphans have to go through on a daily basis out there.
"Oh," he said with a small smile.
"What," Naruto said, not recognizing his tone.
"I just thought you were like me." He said turning back to the water.
Naruto smile. "Five years ago, I was like you until I was three. Then my guardian found me, and now it's…" Naruto stopped when she thought about her home situation. Yahiko looked at her closely for a while as he tried to read why she stopped talking.
"It's okay to admit that having a guardian isn't any better than the orphanage." He said, shocking Naruto into looking up at him.
"It's not him that's the problem, the woman he's married to is my real problem. She doesn't like me, but she pretends she does when she's in front of him, and I just wish she'd come out and say it, you know," Naruto said with a frown as she thought about Tsunade.
"I mean, I don't care if she likes me or not, I just want it out in the open so that I can act accordingly. She's just a really good actor that I find myself believing it at times." She said with a sheepish look.
"You're not wrong for wanting to be loved by the people who are supposed to care for you," Yahiko said, guessing her thoughts right.
"Yeah, but it's wrong to hope she'll ever see me as anything more than an irritant. I know she won't ever like me; I know she won't ever see me for who I am, and I just want my heart to stop hoping." She said pulling on her backpack. She took out a cell phone from her pocket, she gave it to him.
"I know I'm five, and not many people would put much stock on a five-year-old, but I'm not like others. If you need something, if you're in trouble, or if you just want to talk to someone. I'm here, I know what it's like to be abandoned by the people who are supposed to care for you, so if you just want to ramble on about it, I promise to listen." Naruto said, watching him as he looked down at her with a weird expression.
"You don't even know me; how do you know I didn't deserve to be pushed off a cliff?" He asked her with a frown.
"No one deserves to have their siblings push them off a cliff. I don't care what you did or didn't do, you landed next to me for a reason. I'm not sure what it is, I'm not sure if I'll ever know, but I'm sure I want to help you in any way that I can." Naruto said.
"I'll get a new phone on the same plan as this one, with the amount of allowance I get from my guardian, I can keep paying for it," Naruto said putting her hair in a bun. "Remember to call if you need me," she said before she ducked through the waterfall to leave the cave.
~First Phone Call~
Naruto was a bit disappointed when she didn't hear from her first friend in three months. She and Jiraiya had left waterfalls by then, and she was in rock country now as her training continued. It wasn't until she got back to leaf to start her middle school classes four years later, she got her first phone call. She was nine at the time, she had just entered the Anbu sector when Yahiko called her.
"Naruto," his voice came over the phone, hesitantly.
"Yahiko," she said a bit frosty since she had expected him to call her four years ago.
"Chilly," he said to himself, but she heard him.
"You think," Naruto said in the same tone.
"I'm sorry?" he said, almost like he was asking her.
"For what, you didn't do anything wrong. It was perfectly within your right not to call if you didn't want to, and we all know you didn't want to because you didn't call," Naruto yelled out the last part, unable to contain her anger.
Yahiko smiled. "You sound like an angry girlfriend, kid," he said with a smile.
"…" He heard nothing on the line for a while. He thought she hung up, but she was still on when he took the phone away from his ear. "Okay, Naruto I'm sorry. I got into some trouble, it wasn't anything major, so I didn't call you. Other than that, I've been fine, really," he said.
"Good, that's good, but did it ever occur to you that I might want to know that you were alive for the past four years?" Naruto asked in a calmer voice.
He looked down at the phone. "Uhm, it didn't cross my mind, no," he said.
Naruto sighed. "You're an idiot, I should have known not to wait for your call. I should have just called instead of waiting." She said.
"Will apologizing again help?" He asked with a smile when she no longer sounded angry.
"How have you been eating? Where have you been? Are you really okay?" Naruto asked one right after the other without waiting for a response.
"I eat every day since I'm old enough to hunt, and with all the stuff you left for me, I was able to sustain myself for a while in the cave. I've been doing better since I left the cave to travel around a bit, I go back a lot when I think about calling you just to talk to you. And I really am doing okay." He said smiling at her concern for him.
"You could have called, even if you didn't need anything," Naruto said, looking at the empty apartment she just walked into. Jiraiya was out this week she remembered him telling her.
"I know, I'm sorry for worrying you, but I thought as long as I was okay…" He started but didn't finish.
"It's okay, as long as you're fine. Did you ever find your sister? Does she know you're alive?" Naruto asked as she dropped on the sofa.
"That's why I'm calling, my sister found me, I faked memory lost to keep her from trying to kill me again, and she believes it. She lied and told me that I fell off the cliff while the three of us were being chased by border patrol since that cliff was close to the Waterfalls' border. She took off with my brother's kid after she got involve with a criminal association name Akatsuki." He said as she tried to explain everything that had happened to Naruto.
"With all of that aside, how are you with her being back in your life?" Naruto asked when he sounded overwhelmed.
"She dumped her kid on me to run off somewhere, and I haven't had time to feel anything. I'm just in over my head with this kid who cries every point two seconds it seems." He said.
"What about the organization? Are you also involved?" Naruto asked with a frown.
"How did you know?" He asked, shocked that she knew he was in it as well.
"The way you said it, it sounded personal," Naruto said.
"I'm not really involved per se, I have a friend who's dealing with a lot right now, he's deep in it so I'm trying my best to help him out. Until I can safely get him out, I have to stay in with him." He answered, afraid Naruto would be mad after she knew he was in a criminal organization.
"And the criminal acts you're involved within the meantime while you get him out, what are you going to do about those?" Naruto questioned.
"I'm trying my best to stay invisible, trying not to move up, just be a goon that no one cares about," he said in his defense.
"How long do you think you can hide before they know about you?" Naruto asked, mad that he was fooling himself.
"I'm not a criminal, Naruto," he said, a bit hurt at her tone.
"I never said you were, but can you really stay around criminals and not be affected by the environment," Naruto said.
"You don't trust me?" he said with his eyes widened as he listened to her.
"I don't know you well enough to know that you can be in it without being affected," Naruto said.
"Look, I'm sorry I didn't call for the last for years, but I'm not a criminal, and I will never be a criminal." He said frustrated at her.
The line went quiet on both sides for a while. "My sister is in Mist village for a while, Let's meet in the cave in three days," he said out of nowhere.
"I'm an agent now, I can see if there's a mission close to Waterfalls I can take, I'll let you know after I meet my director," Naruto said.
"This is important, please be there."
"Yeah," Naruto said before she dropped off the line.
~Second Meet~
There was no mission near Waterfalls, but Jiraiya was willing to give Naruto a week off since she has never taken one; since she started working at the Anbu. Jiraiya thought she was going to see Karin since she just put down personal as her reason, so nothing looked out of the ordinary to him. Naruto made it to the cave a day early. Yahiko had made it a bit homier, it looked like a place he stayed in a lot. She was lost in thought in her sleeping bag zipped up when she heard his voice coming from outside. As soon as he stepped his foot in the cave, she unzipped the bag to sit up with her hair falling down her back.
"You've grown," he said letting go of the toddler's hand who was looking around the cave with big purple eyes and red hair. Naruto stood up from the bag to wrap it back up again.
"Speak for yourself, you're taller at fourteen," Naruto said putting the bag against the backside of the cave where the child ran toward it when he spotted the bag. Yahiko hugged Naruto after she got close to him. "I miss you, kid," he said smiling down at her.
"It'd be more believable if you had called," Naruto said getting out of the hug. Yahiko laughed at her for a while as he grabbed the kid who had come back to hug his leg.
"I think that's going to be a thing between us, you're never going to let that go, are you?" He asked hugging her again with one arm after he picked up the kid to hold him in the other arm.
"I think you just learn something about me," Naruto said wrapping her arms around him to hug him back. He was the first friend she made, and she hoped he would always be her friend.
"I think I can sleep better now," he said rubbing his nose against the kid's nose who was giggling at the gesture.
~End of Flashback~
Naruto looked at the faces around her with a frown after she saw their reaction to her explaining to them that she had a source inside Akatsuki. Shisui was frowning as he looked at Itachi who had his head buried in a book, and Kakashi who was too busy with the breakfast in front of him to care about anything else right now.
"Why is it that, just when I think I know everything there is to know about you, something else pops out of the woodwork?" Jiraiya said from his stop by the window.
"I told you, I tell you the things you need to know only, as for the rest, I think I reserve the right to have a private life." Naruto said picking up her jacket to throw it over her shoulder to cover the black tank top she had on with her black skinny jeans, as usual, she had on her combat boots. "I think that pretty much covers everything I know about the Akatsuki. This information needs to stay between us because if they catch wind that I have someone within their midst, it will put him in danger." Naruto said opening the front door to walk out.
[~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~]
Itachi was lost in thought most of the morning as he followed the others toward training ground one. He couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to the story that Naruto had told them, and he had a distinct feeling that her relationship with her informant wasn't as professional as she recounted for them.
They made it to the site to find Naruto leaning against a wooden post with her arms crossed, Udon and his friends were in attendance as well, but somehow the kid looked different today, he couldn't put his finger on it, but he could tell that Naruto was right about the kid having something that made him confident in his ability to fight her.
Something caught his eyes, coming toward the battle site was Hagane Sensei's first student, Ikuji Ise, he had gotten older, he had a limp on his left leg as he walked toward Naruto who pushed off the post to stand straight in front of him.
"Sempai," she said putting both of her hands behind her back with one hand on top of the other.
"Kohai," he said looking down at Naruto. "I see that my son has disrespected you," he said with his head down.
Naruto smiled at his posture. "You don't ever look down to me, sempai," Naruto said getting his attention. He looked up to find her smiling at him. "Besides, it is my honor to teach him a lesson," Naruto said looking at Udon who was shocked that his father was at the battle sight.
"Don't think of him as my son, think of him as an undisciplined student," Ikuji said moving next to Naruto to make room for Itachi who assumed his position as well, similar to Naruto but he nodded his head slightly when he talked. "Sempai," Itachi said.
"Itachi," Ikuji said. "It's been a while since you left the dojo, you don't have to address me with honorifics," he said touching Itachi's shoulder before he walked by them to go stand next to Jiraiya who was frowning at the three of them.
"You do know how we treat undisciplined students, don't you Naruto?" Itachi asked Naruto with his eyes directed at her. Naruto touched his shoulder as she walked by him to head toward Udon. "With extreme prejudice." She answered as she passed him by.
Itachi nodded before he joined Ikuji and Jiraiya with the others who were waiting for him. It seemed like every SAD agent were in attendance as he looked around to find them all looking in Naruto's direction with interest.
"Shisui, put up a barrier, would you? Naruto will need privacy," Itachi said to Shisui who nodded at him. "Shisui is putting up a barrier, Naruto," Itachi yelled out to her. Naruto got to the middle of the training grounds, training ground one had fewer trees than all the others, but instead, it was surrounded by mountains and hills.
"Yesterday, we talked about what would happen if you fail to show up," Naruto started, she could see that Udon was off balance a bit after his father showed up. "I told you that I would paint it on the academy walls and turn it into a monument like the Hokage mountain, but today is a different story since you showed up," Naruto said smiling, putting him off balance again. "Although my promise to paint the fact that you are a punk on the academy walls is moot since you showed up, I will however consider doing it if you lose to me today," Naruto said getting a reaction out of him when he looked slighty on edge.
"But, if I win this battle, I will own you and all your little friends today for six months. Instead of hiring a Genin team to do work around my apartment building, I will have you and your friends do those work for me for six months." Naruto said dropping the smile when he frowned.
"So," he started with his frown still in place. "If I lose you will paint me as a punk on the academy walls, and if you win you will make me, and my friends do work for you for six months." He said.
Naruto nodded. "Exactly, what do you say, do we have a deal?"
Udon shrugged. "Sure, why not," he answered.
"Udon," Moegi yelled out to stop him before he was tricked by Naruto, but Udon turned to her with a frown.
"Moegi, I told you never to interrupt me when I'm in public, a kunoichi is meant to be seen, not heard," he said to her with a frown. Moegi's eyes watered at the insult, she left Udon's group of friends to go stand next to Konohamaru who was standing by himself on their right.
"Just to let you know, when you do lose to a real ninja, I won't be part of the people who will be working for Naruto," she said frowning at him too.
"Actually, all of you will be working for me, you and Konohamaru, as well as them," Naruto said pointing to the group that was shocked by what she said. "Didn't you know that Udon is representing your class, all of you are in it, no exception," Naruto said smiling an insane smile at them. Konohamaru look at Moegi next to him with a frown, although she had betrayed him to join with Udon and his group of morons, he still wanted to help her. However, he knew that Naruto wasn't going to go easy on him if he took Moegi's side over her, so he said nothing.
"Well, that's highly unfair, this has nothing to do with me," she said back to Naruto when she saw that Konohamaru wasn't going to go against his sister on her behalf.
"Believe me, child, no one has ever confused me with a person who deals in fairness," Naruto said turning back to Udon who said nothing in objection to what Naruto had said. It surprised no one but Udon when everything he did to try and get to Naruto wasn't working, everyone could see that Naruto wasn't taking him seriously, almost as if she was trying to push his buttons to make him pull out his ultimate move, because nothing he was doing was getting to her, in fact, he couldn't come within ten feet of her without getting attacked on all front, and even after ten falls he still couldn't see where the hits were coming from.
"You're not taking me seriously?" Udon said when he saw that Naruto wasn't even breaking a sweat.
Naruto laughed. "A kunoichi of my caliber, if I took a kid like you seriously, wouldn't that be overkill?" Naruto said smiling when she heard his growling at her words. Everyone watched as Udon took the rings he was wearing on his index fingers off, he tossed them in the air to call out their names in the next breath.
"Infinite Element Shuriken of Fury" Udon called out before throwing the rings in the air, to have them transformed into two large shurikens before descending, Udon caught the blades in his hands before he took off running at his top speed toward Naruto to hurl them at her. Naruto smiled as she examined the shuriken coming toward her, she knew from a mile away that this was Ikuji's work, although he wasn't much for kenjutsu, it didn't take Hagane Sensei long to figure out that Ikuji had a talent for weapon making. Naruto dropped backward on her hands so that the blades could pass over her, she flashed on top of them to grab both blades before returning to the grounds smiling as she visually examined the blades closer.
She whistled in appreciation as she looked at them over. "Now, that I wouldn't mind commissioning a pair of for my collection," Naruto said looking at Ikuji who was smiling at Naruto's apparent admiration of his blades. "Infinite Elements Shuriken of Fury," Naruto said looking at Ikuji. Naruto slapped Udon on the head to send him flying back to his spot when she heard him running toward her to take back the blades. "Adults are speaking, go sit down somewhere," Naruto said as she sent him flying.
Ikuji nodded at Naruto's unasked question of whether the blades could withstand the elements. "Have you unlocked their full potential yet?" Naruto asked glaring at Udon to stay put before she sent him flying again.
"My son is nowhere near ready to unlock the blades full potential, hurling them is about his only experience with them, and that took him six months before he could even lift them and three months before activating them," Ikuji said disappointingly with Naruto nodding.
"What happens when the rings are unlocked?" Naruto asked watching the rings turning back to their original forms in her hand since Udon's inner force was no longer active in them.
"Theoretically speaking they're supposed to change color, the rings will no longer be coarse but rather turned into a refined metal that's so light that the one wearing them doesn't even feel the weight of them." He said looking at Naruto who was smiling as she continued to examine the rings further.
"They are a bit heavy, I'll concur to that, but if unlocking their true potential will make them light, then…" Naruto said leaving the sentence open as she looked at Ikuji for approval.
"I'd be honored to witness it," Ikuji said. He knew he didn't have to tell Naruto how to activate the rings, if Naruto was naturally gifted at one thing, Ikuji would bet that it's her ability to figure things out on her own.
Everyone watched as Naruto placed both of the rings on her index finger one on top of the other, the rings shaped around her finger as if they were sized for her. "How did she do that? The rings shouldn't fit since they fit on Udon's finger," Shisui said looking at Naruto who was smiling as she looked at the rings with interest.
"It's activated by the inner force of the person wearing it, they fit her because she made them fit, not most people can do that. I had to reshape them to fit Udon because he couldn't make them respond to him like Naruto did," Ikuji said with a smile on his face as he looked at the other prodigy child that Hagane Sensei couldn't stop talking about even as he was dying. Once the rings were on Naruto's finger, she took them off to toss them in the air before she called out their name. To everyone's surprise, the rings started changing before they were even called, the shape was much large, the light reflecting on the blades was much smoother, and the electricity crackling around the blades was too impressive for anyone to say anything except to watch how Naruto flashed after them before grabbing the electric charge blades in her hands with an appreciating smile. "Lighting Strike," Naruto called out before twirling around as she released the blades in mid twirl to watch the blades disappear in as a strike of lightning hit the spot where the blades cut through the mountain leaving behind rubble and a gaping hole where the rubble used to be.
"Impressive," Naruto said as she landed on the ground, lifting her hands to call the blades back to her, they took off from the mountain as Naruto called them, once back in her hand Naruto realized that Ikuji was right about them becoming lighter because she barely felt them in her hand. Naruto held them in her hand as she wondered whether they could handle her wind release technique, she tossed one of them in the air in a circular motion, tossed the other on the opposite motion of the other one until the blades were circling each other as they pick up speed from the motion the faster they were going around in a circle. Until the blades started pulling apart from each other creating two separate sphere-shaped typhoons that were picking up everything in their path, Naruto rushed after them before she called for a "Shuriken Sphere", then both blades started circling each other again as they became one in midair until a large wind-sharped sphere with four blades coming on its four corners. The Top, bottom, left side, and right side of the sphere was sharp, the sphere was circling in mid-air waiting for Naruto to give the blades a command before it took off in the direction Naruto pointed at. The sphere took off running toward the mountain to explode in a burst of cutting wind that sliced through the mountain like a hot knife through butter before the blades returned on their own this time without Naruto having to call them back to her.
The blades were circling each other on top of Naruto as she walked back the grounds, following her. "They learn, adapt, and behave once you make a connection with them," Naruto said to Ikuji who was writing this down on a pad as he watched Naruto play around with the blades. "The connection point is my finger, once they fit in my finger, it's almost like they are using my network as their source of power to stay active," Naruto said giving Ikuji more information. "I can almost feel the power being funneled out of me," Naruto said twisting her dominant hand around as she looked at it with interest. "I'm sure they can handle all type of release, the wind release is probably the weakest right now since the blades are still heavy, lighting is the strongest since they are made of metal," Naruto said flipping her hand to have the blades change forms to drop back in her palm. She walked to Ikuji to give him back the rings.
"They are a bit lighter now, so your theory is no longer just a theory, and they probably won't work for your son anymore since his inner force is weaker than mine. I do believe that you can use them to create another set for him. I don't believe his inner force will ever be stronger than mine so those set won't work for anyone but me at the moment."
"You did not want to keep them," Ikuji said offering the rings to Naruto who smiled at him.
"Sorry sempai, I prefer my weapons to have been designed for me, and I prefer weapons that other people haven't touched yet." She said looking at him nodding understanding that Naruto wouldn't take the rings because he made them with his son in mind.
"I'll use them as a base form to build on them." He said putting the rings in his pocket before returning is attention to Naruto who walked back to his son to grab him by the ear as she lifted him to his feet.
"Listening up brat, for the next six months, I want you and your snot-nosed friends to be at my apartment building at eight o'clock sharp to do all the work that needs to be done around the complex. If any of you are not there at the time you're supposed to be there…" Naruto said dropping his ear when she saw it turning red. "I will extend it from six months to a year, and every time one of you is late, I will add another day to the six months," Naruto said looking down at Udon.
"How am I supposed to make them come on time?" He asked looking down at his feet when he couldn't keep eye contact with Naruto anymore.
"That sounds like your problem, Udon," Naruto said dismissing him and his friends to run after him when Udon ran off once Naruto motioned for him to run along leaving behind Konohamaru and Moegi.
"Naruto," Ikuji said coming up behind her. "Thank you for not taking offense to my son's words. He has been having a hard time with the separation. His mother has been filling his head with nonsense about the ninja world." He said.
Naruto nodded. "Yeah, I heard some of that nonsense, something about kunoichi not being good enough to be a ninja," Naruto said watching Ikuji nodding.
"She lost her sister, who was her only remaining family, in the last war. She was a Jounin at the time, so she went to the front lines. My wife almost lost her sanity, she recovered a bit, but she was convinced that if her sister wasn't a kunoichi she would have been alive today." Ikuji explained a bit.
Naruto nodded. "Don't worry sempai, with the amount of work your son will be doing around my complex, I doubt he will have time to breathe let alone think," Naruto said watching him smile.
"Give him hell," he said touching Naruto on the shoulder before walking by her to leave the grounds. Naruto watched him as he walked away, leaving behind all the people who had come to watch her discipline Udon.
"You went easy on him," Kakashi said.
Naruto shrugged. "What can I say, maybe I'm going soft," Naruto said smiling.
"Hardly, since I bet his body will be hurting for at least a month before he can fully walk properly. Not to mention the manual labor contract." He said.
"You're the last person I'd call soft," Shisui said smiling down at her.
