Chaos Sorcerer: Thank you for the review. Yes, time travel is confusing. Glad that was your favorite part and a great scene. That would be fun. No problem. Yes, poor future Parker. Parker hasn't mastered the suit yet. He will by next story though. Yes, he was and glad to hear it. I could have done something similar with Barry-Red now that you say it, by having him between his parents' deaths. Glad you loved the flashback. Alien races can still come around though. But I would elect Mack as SWORD's Director, not Daisy, as he is much more Director material compared to her, which the latest Season is proving. Yes, that would be a laugh. Yes, the Time Stone could have helped but considering people being close altered the spell, using that could have too. It was the black nothingness. With everything going on, another villain cameo wasn't really in my mind. Though the idea with Knull sounds interesting, thanks for that. Yes, that chanting sounds better. Oh yeah, Stephen will train Strange more later. LOL! That would be hilarious, poor AC and Hank. Oh yeah! That is definitely marvelous! Aquaman is unique that way! You can say Sara has both her parents too, in this series that is, but Dinah is a horrible, absentee mother, who doesn't deserve to be a mother, so probably not. Passing out sounds fun but I think I will have a different reaction. Agreed on Galactus, Lucifer and Dormammu. Glad I surprised you that much then. Glad that was a hilarious and I knew you'd have a laugh. No, it wasn't his sister, just two random people. There's just a cuss word in Hindi which in English literally translates to 'sisterfucker' and that's what the guy was saying to the two pranksters. Oh no kidding, they are all idiots. What I would do- maneuver my bike to pass next to the fucker and then elbow 'em on the cheekbone while driving away. That would be hilarious payback. My favorite part was when that guy was walking without noticing the ghost near a car and then it laughed and he got scared, then Carry mimicked what he could be thinking till he saw the ghost- "Oh! A ghost! I will get scared! AAAAAAAHHH!" Yes, ghost pranks are like that here, no imagination, just a repeat of what B-grade horror movies on here show, except adding the homelessness aspect. And you remember the host of 'Best Reality Show' who was making people do stupid stuff? He got trashed on the street by a few people once outside a café. And now he has a new show which is basically, in Carry's words, 'new name, same bullshit', but it got banned because of the content. Took their board long enough. Also, unrelated, but Sushant's last film which is 'Dil Bechara' (This helpless heart) released yesterday posthumously, and it's an Indian adaptation of 'The Fault in Our Stars' book. It was a good film, but while I don't want to say it, I feel people are overrating it because of the poor man's tragic death. Its trailer has more likes than even Avengers: Endgame's trailer, which wouldn't have happened if he was alive. Also, PewDiePie made a tribute video for Sushant titled 'Reacting to Sushant Singh Rajput.' You'll love it, as it made me appreciate both Pewds and the sadly deceased Sushant much more. Also, I used some of your suggested scenes in this chapter, so thanks a lot for those. The Steve/Diana scene won't be in this story unfortunately, but I know the exact story to put it in, so thanks a lot for that scene again. Enjoy the chapter.

Chapter 18- Aftermath of battle
Earth-199999, New York City, Avengers Tower
With the battle finished and the damage repaired, Tony did the one thing he did best after battles- throw a party!
Everyone was having fun now, going around, talking, laughing and drinking (only the adults of course).
The Valar, Valier and most of the Maiar of course didn't attend the party. Radagast didn't like cities so he didn't attend either, and he needed time with Clive after the attack on Valinor.
Jason Blood had gone off too, as he wasn't really a party person, and he still hated most of the people around.
"Don't worry, Hope, I won't get too drunk", Scott said, cheerily wrapping his arm around the woman.
"I'm Tauriel."
It was only then did Scott notice the hair and ears.
"Oh my bad, sorry."
He then awkwardly shuffled to another familiar face. "Man, all these doppelgängers can give a guy a headache, huh shrinking buddy."
"I'm afraid you made a mistake."
Scott's eyes widened at the much more bulky, and more importantly, not Ray Palmer.
"Err right I'm-I'll just…going over there."
Scott walked, away turned his head back to stare at the uncanny resemblance. Finally settling next to the only other person he knew.
"Why are there so many people who look alike?!"
Yet again, the person he thought was them, was the tight leather suited Selina.
"Beats me, handsome."
"I'M SO CONFUSED!"
In another part of the room, Bucky and Natasha were joking about the sight before them as well.
"He's going to have to beat them back with a stick", Natasha commented to Bucky as she noticed Dawn's and Kory's eyes look Steve up and down, with a jealous Hank Hall grumbling nearby.
The humble and innocent Steve Rogers only smiled politely and made conversation with the two pretty ladies.
"He could probably just make one now", the ex-HYDRA assassin quipped, raising a brow when Carol decided to join the growing crowd surrounding the new Lantern. "To think, I use to throw the punk at the girls, now they're jumping on the poor bastard."
Bucky could only laugh.
"Steve! He used a bad language word, use your Magic Ring and arrest him!"
Bucky only stared at the red headed Russian, Natasha only giving him that alluring, evil smirk.
"I never respected and hated Captain America more than I do right now", Sam Wilson grumbled in another part of the room as he saw the crowd of females surrounding his friend.
Beside him, Rhodey patted his shoulder. "Welcome to my world. At least Steve isn't as bad Tony was."
They both turned their heads at the sound of incoming armored boots. "And here comes Xena."
The look on her face made both men step back as she approached the crowd.
"That was scary, but-"
"Sexy as hell", they said in unison.
Somewhere else, Parker was telling Wanda about how he had saved the other Spider-Men from Carnage as she listened with a smile while Spider-Man, Peter, Miles, Miguel and Spidey sat nearby.
"Then I was like- "I'm immune, and a nightmare to you"", Parker said as Wanda smiled with pride.
"My hero", she said as she held his hand and he held back while Miles made a coughing sound, making the older Spider-Men chuckle.
"The suit doesn't make you cooler", Miles muttered.
"No, I make it better", Parker said as Miles sputtered and they all laughed.
"A Venom suit without the negatives, I really wish I got that", Spider-Man told him.
"Yes, I mean, we need better stats when battling bigger foes, so this would be nice", Peter agreed.
"I think we're good as it is", Spidey said.
"Yup, especially me with my technology", Miguel said.
Eddie arrived, looking Parker's suit up and down. He suddenly became Venom-84 and said. "This is puny."
He returned to his normal form as Parker said. "Well, thanks Venom."
"No problem", Eddie shrugged as he gave a mock salute and walked off.
That was when Gwen arrived, drinking coke from a can.
"Where did you get that coke? I want some too", Parker said.
"It's not coke. It's whiskey. I poured it into a can of coke to pretend its coke", Gwen said and chuckled.
"Now you, I like! You think out of the box!" Miles said to her.
"Thanks bro", Gwen said as she and Miles fist-bumped.
"Just make sure not to drink too much", Peter said.
"After seeing my parents doppelgangers, one of whom dresses like Robin Hood and does archery, while the other is a badass ninja, I think I need too much" Gwen quipped as she took another sip while the others sighed, except Miles.
Batman was looking at Parker on noticing his face as Detective walked next to him and asked. "You know him?"
"Kind of", Batman said.
In another corner of the room, Oliver and Sara were talking to Marc, still trying to get over the fact that he was a good guy.
"I'm a ghost now…a spectre of the moon…the moon's knight of vengeance…and I got work to do", he finished telling about himself.
"Oh!" Both said simultaneously, having heard it all, but this being the only response they had.
"So, you helped our doppelgangers get our alternate daughter back from the ones who had kidnapped her?" Sara asked.
"Yeah", Marc shrugged. "Though I get your reactions. If I ever met this Adrian Chase, I will make him confess what kind of person he truly is."
"Confess huh. Okay", Oliver said.
"Man, this fight was the shit", Jason Todd said to Rose.
"Language!" Steve, Bats, Robin and the two Colossuses went at the same time.
Then they looked at each other, realizing they had said it simultaneously.
"A 100 bucks says they are gonna be instant bros", Tony said to Pepper.
"You two are from Earth-66, right?" Steve asked.
"Yes, the one and only, and the two of us protect it whenever evil rears its head on Gotham City like a plague", Bats said and Tony almost sputtered at the way he spoke, and Pepper did too.
"Guys", Rachel said as she walked to Steve, Bats, Robin and the Colossuses. "Our Dick once said 'Fuck Batman.'"
"Rachel!" Dick sputtered as Batman, Bruce, Wayne, Detective and Knight shot him strange looks while Bats and Robin walked to him.
"I told you, young me, that we need to set an example for the kids", Robin started. "And we must never curse our elders, especially this badly."
"I don't feel bad, young Nightwing, but I am disappointed. I expected better from you than to expunge filthy words from your mouth", Bats told him while Dick glared at Rachel behind the two, who gave him a cheeky smirk and a wink.
"You're evil, you know that", Gar said to her as she chuckled.
"Well, my dad was too", she joked back. "How are you getting along with your very distant cousin?"
"Not really talked to him", Gar told her. "I'm still in disbelief that I am standing amongst the Avengers, two different Justice Leagues, people from a high fantasy world and King Arthur and Merlin."
"I get the feeling", Rachel told him.
Hope was staring at Selina from a distance, drinking some alcohol. "I think my Elf doppelganger looks good, but that, I'm burning that from my mind."
"Well. Now you know that your mom looks good in- I'm just going to shut up", Scott said on noticing Hope's glare.
Tony accidentally bumped into Wayne, who had his mask off right now as people from other Earth weren't going to do anything about his identity.
"Sorry about that", Wayne said, only to notice Tony staring at him.
"The Multiverse is weird", Tony said before moving off as Wayne looked at him in confusion.
"Hello Tauriel."
Tauriel turned to see Legolas standing there, his face an emotionless mask.
"Hello Legolas", she said.
"It has been a long time, yet it feels like it was just a day ago", Legolas said, emotions welling up in him on seeing her again.
"I know", Tauriel told him as the two old friends embraced on being reunited after such a long time.
Danvers was looking at Wonder Woman-66 from a distance.
"You know her?" Kara asked as she walked to her with Kal.
"Kind of", Danvers said. "She was President on my Earth."
"Okay", Kal said.
"And she was an alien", Danvers then said, making them sputter.
"You mean aliens are allowed to hold positions of power on your Earth?" Kal asked her.
"No! It was a secret! She had to resign when people found out!" Danvers explained.
"Now that makes sense", Kara told her.
Wonder Woman-66 tapped Chloe's shoulder from behind, and the young woman turned to face her, her eyes widening.
"Oh! It's you!" Chloe said awkwardly. "Hi!"
"Earlier when you saw me, you looked like you had seen someone close to you after a long time", Wonder Woman-66 said, her voice neutral. "I respect if you do not want to tell me. I was just curious."
Chloe didn't know if it was her emotions or the small amount of alcohol she had taken, but she wrapped Wonder Woman-66 in a hug and started crying into her shoulder.
If there was one thing common between all Wonder Women, they were kind and compassionate.
Even though she did not know Chloe, Wonder Woman-66 embraced her back, stroking her hair like a mother comforting her distressed daughter while Ollie and Kal watched from afar, bittersweet smiles on both of their faces.
"So you call yourself Captain Marvel", Shazam said to Carol. "Huh! I think the name should be mine. I just feel it as part of me."
"How old are you?" Carol asked, annoyed.
"Hey, how old are you?" Shazam asked back, clearly defensive, taking her aback a little.
"Well", Ray Palmer said as he walked to Tony. "Nice party, but we got to go."
"Yes, the timeline just loves getting screwed. I wonder why it isn't pregnant yet", Tony quipped, making both Ray and, unnoticed to him, Pepper, wince for different reasons as he then walked of.
Nearby, Nate and Zari were trying to drag Mick away as Nora watched in amusement.
"No! I want to stay! Let me stay!" Mick moaned as he struggled against them while the others watched, struggling to hold back their laughter. "This Universe has everything! Great beer, freaks to burn, and them!"
He pointed at Blaze and Reyes as he said that as the two exchanged amused smirks and their heads transformed into Ghost Riders for a second.
"I DON'T WANNA GO!" Mick cried out as Nate and Zari pulled harder, joined by Ray and Nora.
"And this is what I don't miss about the team", Sara told Oliver as both watched in amusement.
"And you say I am the childish one", Quill said to the Guardians as they watched the Legends drag Mick out of the room.
"Oh you put Mick to shame", Gamora told him, making him glare.
"Now that was a funny dude", Drax said about Mick.
"So", Ollie asked Chloe, who still had tear trails on her face. "How do you feel now?"
"Better", Chloe said as she looked at him and they held hands. "Like I've received closure."
"I get the feeling", Ollie said as he kissed her forehead and hugged her.
Thor, Aquaman and Logan were sitting together, drinks in their hands.
"And he transformed back into himself and he was like, "Yeah, it's me! And he stabbed me. We were eight at the time", Thor finished telling.
"My half-brother tried to have me and Mera killed so he would have no competitor to the throne", Aquaman said, trying to outperform him as he drowned half of his drink.
"Mine too, and he tried to destroy an entire world while he was at it", Thor countered, drowning his entire drink in one gulp, making Aquaman look at him with wide eyes as he smirked.
"And here I was about to hare stories of my half-brother", Logan said as he took a sip.
Thor then took another drink while Aquaman finished his and took one too as the three raised glasses.
"To bad half-brothers."
"I heard that!" Loki said from behind.
"I know", Thor said with a chuckle, and could hear the sigh coming from Loki.
"So this is how you use your magic now", Gandalf said as he and Merlin looked at Balthazar's Ring.
"Yes, my own Ring of Power", Balthazar quipped, making them both chuckle before he looked at Steve. "And where was that guy when Sauron was still kicking?"
"Not aware of Middle-earth", Merlin told him.
"Anyway, I guess this will allow me to travel between worlds", Balthazar said as he lifted the inter-dimensional extrapolator Cisco had made for him a few hours ago. "I'll visit when I can."
"And we will too", Gandalf said. "It was good to see you again, old friend."
"You too", Balthazar said as he gave Gandalf a hug and then Merlin too. "Still can't believe you are my teacher's doppelganger."
He then randomly walked to Luke Cage and tapped his shoulder.
"Yeah?" Luke asked as he turned to him.
"I love your surname, buddy, I think I should have it", Balthazar said, making Luke look at him in confusion as he walked to Blaze and tapped his shoulder.
"Yes?" Blaze asked.
"We're connected, never forget that", Balthazar told him, making Blaze shake his head and take a sip of his drink.
"He always like that?" Merlin asked Dave and Veronica.
"No, he just gets eccentric like that sometimes", Dave told them.
"I think its sexy", Veronica said, making Merlin and Dave shoot her strange looks as Balthazar returned and lifted the extrapolator. "Well, time for home sweet home."
He opened a breach and waved to Gandalf and Merlin. "Goodbye guys. Was lovely to see you and Valinor again."
The two waved to him as he, Dave and Veronica walked into the breach and it closed.
Aragorn and Steve shook hands as the latter said. "Thank you for helping out, again."
"Thank you, Steven", Aragorn said too as the two smiled at each other and nodded before Aragorn used his interdimensional extrapolator to open a breach and then he, Legolas, Gimli, Boromir, Arwen, Faramir, Halbarad, Thranduil, Thorin, Dwalin, Gloin, Bofur, Dori, Nori and Eomer exited into it.
"Are you sure you do not want to come with us, young Hobbits?" Gimli asked the Hobbits.
"Oh no! We will come later", Sam said.
"All right then", Legolas smiled as he and Tauriel exchanged one last look before Aragorn closed the breach.
"Hey", Barry-Red said as he and Parker walked to the Hobbits and sat next to them.
"So looks like all of us together saved The Shire again", Pippin said.
"Not just The Shire, everything", Merry said.
"And everyone back home is never gonna believe us", Sam said, making them all chuckle again.
"Well, I am always framed by fake news instead of being praised for any heroic deeds, so I get the feeling", Parker quipped.
"You two opened the box yet?" Barry-Red asked.
"No", Frodo and Parker shook their heads simultaneously.
"Me neither", Barry-Red said. "I guess these boxes are the only things reminiscent of the time travel adventure we just had. And here I thought my time traveling days were over."
"I think we should get them too then", Pippin said.
"Pippin!" Merry chided him.
"I think he gave them to you three because you three needed these", Sam said.
"Why do you think that?" Frodo asked.
"I know that, Mister Frodo", Sam told him.
"I saw a little of my future, it was terrible", Parker said. "And future me told me not to think of it."
"I think he was right", Barry-Red said. "Thinking about it is gonna destroy you. And it may even be an alternate future, which means not yours. I know you want to look into it, but my advice, don't fret about it."
"Oh, all right", Parker said, a bit conflicted but still accepting of Barry-Red's advice.
"So", Merlin asked Arthur as he, Steve and Thor walked to him. "How are you doing now?"
"Well, there's a feast without me being the center of attention, and I have to see your face, so very terrible", Arthur said, making the three chuckle.
"Not as bad as me having to hear you whine constantly", Merlin countered and everyone chuckled at that too.
"You were right", Arthur said.
"About hearing you whine?" Merlin asked.
"I wasn't talking to you", Arthur said as he looked at Steve. "You were right. The world has moved on without me and I do not need to be King anymore. But it still needs me. Cam- Britain still needs me. Not as a King but as a protector."
"And trust me, being King isn't as good as you dreamt it to be", Thor told him.
"So, what are you going to do?" Steve asked.
"Well, I was inspired by all of you", Arthur told him. "Especially you."
"Thank you", Steve said.
"No, thank you", Arthur told him. "You are America's Captain. Britain needs a Captain too now."
"Oh!" Merlin said. "I get it now. You want to be the Captain of England's cricket team."
"Merlin!" Arthur cried out in annoyance, lunging at him as Merlin dodged and ran off, with Arthur chasing him.
"You sure they are the Legendary King Arthur and his Warlock Merlin?" Thor asked Steve with a smirk.
"If they weren't, they would behave exactly like the Legends say", Steve told him and he nodded.
Jason felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see Detective.
"Oh hey! You're Batman too!" Jason said randomly.
"You have people life who care about you", Detective told him. "Don't push them away."
And with that, he walked off as Jason watched after him with a conflicted expression.
Later
The party was finished and most of the attendees were gone now, as Tony and Pepper were mopping up some stuff.
"I noticed you didn't take a single drink this time", Tony said as Pepper turned to face him. "Like, not even a sip."
"Yeah, just didn't feel like it", Pepper said.
"But you do like drinks. I mean, not like Super PI, but I've never seen you in a party without taking at least one", Tony told her.
"Things are changing", Pepper said to Tony as she stroked her belly, which Tony noticed, before looking between her stomach and her face as his eyes went wide.
"Oh boy! Are you real?" Tony asked her and she nodded with happy tears in her eyes.
Tony immediately ran over to her and they kissed, before he embraced her happily.
"But how am I gonna do?" Tony muttered to himself.
"You will do just fine", Pepper assured him as they kissed again.
Later, a rooftop
"So you really think you can take me, kid?" Eddie asked as he and Brock stood on opposite sides.
"We fought Riot to a standstill till we were interrupted by Carnage", Brock countered.
"And we beat Riot", Eddie told him.
"Different Earths, different rules", Brock said before Venom covered him. "We need a good fight."
Venom-84 covered Eddie and said. "You got one."
And then both leapt at each other for a fight.
That night, Arda, Valinor
Frodo stood outside New Bag End, holding up the box Strange had given him.
"You and Sam showed the same courage you did when you carried the One Ring to Mount Doom with Natasha."
Frodo turned to see Galadriel standing there with a smile on her face.
"And so did Merry, Pippin, Peter and Barry. Whatever is in that box, you have earned it."
Frodo nodded gratefully as she gave him a smile and walked away as he looked at the box.
Same time, Earth-199999, New York
Parker had gone out for a swing, wearing his new black suit, before he landed on a rooftop and his the top part of the suit slithered off, revealing his face.
He held out the box.
Same time, Earth-1, Central City
Barry-Red had gone for a run when he ran up a rooftop and stopped, takin off his mask as he held out the box, looking at it.
And then he opened the box.
Same time, Earth-199999, New York
A paper glowing with light popped out of the box as Parker read it.
"You have five minutes. Spend them as you wish."
Same time, Arda, Valinor
Frodo had just finished reading the paper when two very familiar voices he had never thought he would ever hear again called out from behind him.
"Frodo!"
He turned and his eyes widened in surprise on seeing his parents Drogo Baggins and Primula Brandybuck.
"I-I don't believe it!" Frodo said, his voice cracking as tears formed in his eyes. "Is it really you two?"
"Who else would it be?" Drogo asked with a smile.
Same time, Earth-199999, New York
"Peter!"
Parker turned and his jaw dropped on seeing Uncle Ben and Richard and Mary Parker.
"Hey son!" Richard said, hugging Parker as Mary ruffled his hair lovingly.
"Hello, Peter", Ben said with a smile as Parker looked between the three, tears welling up in his eyes.
"Oh-oh my God!" Parker said in joy.
Same time, Earth-1, Central City
"Hey slugger!"
Barry-Red turned around and there stood Henry and Nora Allen, looking at him with pride.
"Mom! Dad!" Barry-Red cried out as he sped up to them and wrapped them both in a loving embrace.
"My beautiful boy", Nora smiled, stroking Barry-Red's face lovingly.
Same time, Arda, Valinor
"It's strange", Drogo said as he put a hand on Frodo's shoulder. "The two of us had gone out boating, and then it suddenly started sinking."
"We went right after eating, and it could not bear us because of it", Primula told him. "But none of that matters. What matters is that you are here."
"You look good, Frodo. Just like a Hobbit your age should", Drogo said, patting his head as he looked at New Bag End. "And that is a lovely Hobbit hole."
"Which we know you have more than earned", Primula told him.
Same time, Earth-199999, New York
"You three, you look great", Parker said half-crying, half-laughing. "Uncle Ben, there are so many things I want to tell you. So many things I want to ask forgiveness for-"
"Forgiveness?" Ben asked, putting his arm around Parker. "There is nothing to ask forgiveness for, Pete. Not from me."
"And not from us either", Mary smiled. "You got justice for us, and you are a hero. A great man with a good heart. What more could any parent want?"
"We are proud of you, son", Richard said as Parker felt his heart swell with both pride and sadness.
"But, but I wasn't there when any of you needed me", Parker said guiltily.
"You were but a boy", Richard gently told him, lifting up his chin to look at him. "None of it is on you."
"We all mess up sometimes, and I think not only is it inevitable, but also necessary sometimes", Ben told him.
Same time, Earth-1, Central City
"I am sorry, dad", Barry-Red said with tears in his eyes. "I couldn't save you. I should have."
"But you did not give in to hate, it was your love for your family and friends that helped you triumph over Zoom, and Savitar after him", Henry said.
"And Thawne before", Nora added. "You have nothing to apologize for. You are not who we wanted you to be."
As Barry-Red looked at her, she finished. "You are much more than that."
Barry-Red burst into tears as he hugged her again. "Oh mom!"
"You have made mistakes, but you have learnt from them, and that is what we taught you, remember?" Nora asked and he nodded. "You do not have to run to us anymore."
"Run to those who need you. We will always be watching", Henry assured and he nodded.
Same time, Arda, Valinor
"There were so many times I thought I would die, and then see you again", Frodo confessed what he had felt many times during the Quest.
"We wanted to see you again too. But not that way", Primula assured.
"You know how we feel about adventures", Drogo said. "But you, Sam, Merry and Pippin and everyone else saved The Shire, and everything else. We could not have been prouder parents to a greater Hobbit."
Frodo smiled in appreciation as he embraced the two. "I will never forget."
Same time, Earth-199999, New York
"You know what would disappoint me?" Ben asked as Parker looked at him. "If you didn't reach for the kind of life I wanted for you. If you settled for less because you were afraid of reaching for more. If you walked away from what you believed, even once. Have you done that?"
Parker looked down in thought, his mind flashing back to when he had gone to confront Adrian Toomes in spite of his threats, sneaking onboard the Q-ship and battling Thanos in spite of his fear, helping his doppelgangers against Mysterio even though he knew the man's tricks would make him face his worst fears, going up against a powerful man like Norman Osborn to save the innocent Gwen, and battling powerful beings like Carnage and his time travel adventure.
"No", Parker said as he looked back up. "No, I haven't."
"Then I taught you right", Ben smiled, patting his shoulder. "And your life has meaning."
"You have got abilities now son", Richard said.
"And you help people. You're amazing", Mary added. "But we have an important question."
"So that we can sleep easy", Ben finished.
"Anything", Parker said. "Ask me anything."
"Are you happy?" Ben asked him. "We all go through pain, we all lose people we care about, we all suffer, we all get hurt. It's the price of being human. But at the end of the day…..do you like your life? Are you happy, Peter?"
Important moments of his life flashed before his eyes once more- learning of his parents dying, getting his powers, Uncle Ben's death, barely stopping himself from killing the murderer, making his first save in the suit, being recruited by Tony, failing to stop the ferry from splitting, broing with Ned, lifting the debris off of himself, stopping Toomes, Liz leaving, May finding out, the fight against Thanos, being dusted and being brought back, trying to protect the Infinity Gauntlet, meeting the other Spider-Men, comforting Peter over Gwen's loss and Spider-Man's speech about speaking for the dead, having fun with Ned and M.J., saving Gwen from OsCorp, his birthday party, kissing Wanda and getting together with her, swinging alongside Gwen to save people, getting the new black suit, his dark possible future, and finally stopping the Heroes from accidentally releasing Dormammu.
He had faced loss and despair and even died, but he always pulled through, and he had his family and friends. Aunt May, Wanda, Gwen, Ned, M.J., the Spider-Clan, Matt, Frank, Elektra, Jessica, the other Defenders and of course, the Avengers.
"It's the damndest thing, but…I am happy", Parker finally said as he looked at the three. "I have a good life, a real good life. I'm very lucky. Sometimes I don't even realize how good and how lucky. But yeah….I'm happy."
"Then that's the only thing that matters", Ben said with a smile.
Same time, Earth-1, Central City
"I've missed you both so much. I don't want this to end", Barry-Red sniffed.
"I know, but life is about moving forwards, or in your case, running forwards", Henry said as Barry-Red gave a watery chuckle.
"We are always with you, and we will watch over you, my beautiful boy", Nora smiled.
Then Barry-Red saw them fading away as tears entered his eyes.
"Run Barry, run", both said simultaneously before finally fading away.
"I will", Barry-Red promised firmly. "Always. To protect people. For you."
And with that, he put on his cowl and sped off.
Same time, Arda, Valinor
"We love you", Drogo said as he and Primula embraced Frodo.
"Take are of Bilbo", Primula said.
"I will", Frodo nodded as the two smiled and slowly faded away as Frodo stood with a bittersweet expression.
After a few minutes, he wiped his tears and walked back into New Bag End.
"Oh! Who is it?" Bilbo asked as he looked around absently.
"It's Frodo", Frodo said.
"Oh! Frodo my lad! It has been so long!" Bilbo said as Frodo sighed and walked to him with a smile.
Same time, Earth-199999, New York
"God knows how much I've missed you all", Parker said.
"We've missed you too, tiger", Mary said.
"I love you", Parker said to them all.
"We love you too", they said together as they all embraced him.
"Goodbye Pete, take care of May", Ben told him.
"I swear I will", Parker promised, now firmly deciding the future he saw would never come to pass.
"With great power comes great responsibility. Always remember that, Peter", Ben said and Parker nodded.
"Goodbye, son", Richard and Mary said too before they faded away as Parker watched with tears in his eyes but his heart feeling good.
Same time, Earth-1, Central City
Barry-Red returned to his apartment which he shared with Caitlin.
"How was your run?" She asked as she walked to him.
"Good", Barry-Red said as he looked at her and she could see the pain in his eyes was much less than before. "The best I ever had actually."
"I can see that", she said as she walked to him. "Come here."
The two kissed each other, happy in each other's company.
Same time, Earth-199999, New York
Parker swung back to his apartment as May asked. "So, did you see Strange's gift?"
"Yeah", Parker said.
"And how was it?" May asked.
"Very thoughtful and kind", Parker replied. "Made this day much better."
"Well, that is good to know", May said as she kissed his forehead and walked off to work while Parker stood with a healed smile on his face.
Same time, New York Sanctum
"I know what you did!" Mordo cried out, bound in mystical chains as Stephen, Strange, Fate and Wong watched him. "You messed with time, it will mess back! Your actions have consequences."
"So do yours, Karl Mordo", Fate countered calmly.
"You know, I used to consider you among the best of us. Now I know you are the worst", Wong said.
"I don't need your judgment!" Mordo snapped.
"No, you don't", Stephen agreed. "But you do need judgment."
"What?" Mordo asked, confused.
"I used to think the Soul Stone would never need a Guardian if we got rid of him", Strange said. "I was wrong."
And with that, Stephen opened a portal behind Mordo as Strange punched his Astral Form out. The Astral Form screamed as he fell into the portal and Stephen closed it.
"We may have stopped him for now, but time travel does have consequences", Stephen advised his younger doppelganger.
"I know", Strange nodded.
"Whatever happens, hope remains as long as all Heroes are true to themselves and each other", Fate said as the other three nodded.
Because he was right. No matter when evil reared its head, Heroes all over the Multiverse would be there to fight it.
And that's the ending of the main story there. Next chapter is simply a post-credits scene.
So Strange gifted Frodo, Parker and Barry-Red five minutes to spend with lost loved ones. He did not give those to Sam, Merry and Pippin because they really don't have lost loved ones.
Hope the conversations were well-done, and hope all enjoyed the interactions at the party and that they were funny. Thank you to Chaos Sorcerer for coming up with some of them.
Also, Gwen's trick with pouring alcohol in a coke can to drink it, I've done it myself quite a few times, and once I actually drank alcohol like that right next to my parents, without them knowing. It was hilarious. Nothing strong though, just mild drinks.
Anyway, once again, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your lovely support to this story, and it always helps me a lot. And I really hope this story managed to justify the hype behind it.
