FRIENDS FOREVER
"Mr grim reaper why are they chasing me?" A female zebra dressed in a white shirt and red shorts said to Louis in a panicked and fearful tone of voice as she was quickly led across the stage by Louis who was brandishing a skull mask and wooden sword whilst wearing the same attire as the zebra apart from some long red joggers.
"You were supposed to be dead three days ago!" Louis said to the zebra in a loud and worried tone of voice as three other students followed quickly behind before the red deer turned and swung his sword at the leading student to which he in return stumbled backward with pain and despair brandished across his face as he fell to the floor.
"Water, wind, fire, every dead soul in the universe is trying to kill you. That's what it means to defy your fate." Louis glared at the three new students now blocking his path as he lowered his sword whilst standing protectively in front of the female zebra as the students began to slowly close in.
"Do not worry leave this to me! I shall end your life. That's my duty. Until then I won't let another soul touch you!" Louis proclaimed loudly as he swung his wooden sword to the side with purpose and precision whilst lowering his stance slightly read for the imminent confrontation.
"And scene! Act one scene five is good to go." Sanu the president of the drama club proclaimed out loud as the lights to the drama room were turned on bathing the students on stage in the light as Louis looked at the male pelican in slight frustration and anger.
"Let's take five everyone." Sanu said to the group of actors on stage which Louis retorted with a quick "What?" of confusion as Sanu approached the red deer with a slightly worried look on his white-feathered face.
"You're moving a bit slow. Is something wrong?" Sanu asked Louis to which the red deer lowered himself slightly looking directly at the pelican.
"No need to whisper I'm perfectly fine," Louis said to Sanu in a passive-aggressive tone as the red deer quickly picked up a sweat towel before rubbing it across and along his neck whilst the female zebra walked off stage for a small breather and a chat with Els.
"All that matters is that the new students see the performance. We need to appeal to them and show them that this club is crucial. I can't be complaining about my body." Louis said out loud as the red deer walked toward the three students who had been his adversaries in the scene, one of which was Tao the black panther.
"Right guys?" Louis said to the three students whilst stretching his body and back to which the students all looked at Louis in surprise as Tao nodded his black-furred head slowly in response.
"Uh...thats right," Tao said to Louis in a surprised tone of voice before Louis glared confidently at the three students whilst still stretching his body.
"Give it you're all. An herbivore is playing Adler here. You carnivores should use that as motivation. Don't hold back. We'll portray the symbolism of that on this stage. This time it's more crucial than ever." Louis said out loud whilst looking confidently yet seriously at Tao and the other students before Sanu began to redirect everyone for the next scene.
"President cut the dress rehearsal short?" The surprised yet concerned voice of Dom replied to Legoshi as the grey wolf just nodded his head with a small "yeah" in response before both the canine and the blue feathered peafowl resumed there work on the drama clubs costumes along with the others backstage.
"Damn I was supposed to have a part in the show but now I'm on sowing duty!" The brown-furred mongoose that was Kai said out loud in anger as he shook his head in frustration to which Dom turned and looked at the mongoose with an encouraging smile.
"Oh, Kai, you seem to be good at the task though," Dom said to the now surprised and slightly happy looking face of Kai as the mongoose stuttered slightly before responding.
"Uh..you think?" Kai asked Dom in a shocked yet happy tone of voice to which the blue fathered peafowl responded with a small "yep" and a smile.
"Seriously?" Kai laughed and smiled at Dom as the avian nodded his head in confirmation whilst Legoshi slowly picked up a yellow-colored costume with a sad look on his grey and cream furred face.
"Is this...this is Tems," Legoshi said in a low and saddened tone of voice as the grey wolf hung his head low whilst holding up the costume prompting the other backstage students to look around at each other with sad looks on there faces.
"What should we do?" The light grey furred anteater called Kibi questioned out loud before Kai looked around at the group before speaking.
"It's a little freaky to keep it laying around here don't you guys think?" Kai said out loud in a concerned and slightly creeped out tone to the group only for Fudge the red panda to respond with a quick and defensive "Hey" whilst Legoshi couldn't help but stare at the costume.
'Tem the alpaca was attacked and murdered by a carnivore...it was someone from this school... it's considered this world's ultimate taboo. I guess that's the reason no one wants to talk about it.' Legoshi thought to himself as the grey wolf's deep brown eyes focused on Tems name tag that was on the inside collar of the costume.
'Im finally starting to understand what he was saying. The significance of Louis the deer playing the role of Adler. The one most in touch with this incident is probably him. I can't imagine the pressure he's feeling.' Legoshi gripped the costume tightly as he thought of the responsibility and pressure Louis must be feeling.
"Legoshi. Legoshi? Legoshi!" Dom yelled out at the now surprised and slightly guilty looking grey wolf who muttered a small "Yeah" before the blue feathered peafowl sighed whilst leaning his head back slightly.
"Wow. I was asking id you'd pick up the flowers from the gardening club. See!" Dom quickly unfurled a piece of drawing paper before showing it to Legoshi with a small smile on his yellow beak before he began to speak again.
"I want to decorate the auditorium door with roses, you know to go with the final scene. So would you mind helping me out with that?" Dom asked Legoshi with a small tilt of his head as the grey wolf looked down slightly in thought before looking back up at Dom with a curious look on his grey and cream furred face.
"The gardening club...isnt that the one run by herbivores? Is it okay for me to go over there?" Legoshi replied to Dom in an unsure and worried manner to which Kibi quickly ran up to the large canine with a serious yet honest look on his face.
"That's exactly why you should go. You're a second year, you need to work on your communication skills." Kibi said in a matching tone of voice to the expression on his face whilst Legoshi hummed in thought briefly before nodding his head slowly.
"On one condition."
Do you know where you're going, Thorn? You sure you don't want me or Jack coming along with you?" Miguno asked Thorn with a small smile as the black-spotted and brown-furred hyena crossed his arms as the red wolf shook his head.
"I'm sure I can find my way there. Besides, there's no real rush to get there." Thorn chuckled at Miguno to which the hyena nodded his head in understanding whilst Jack put a paw to his head in thought prompting Thorn to look curiously at the dog.
"Something on your mind?" Thorn smiled and tilted his head slightly at Jack as the blonde furred canine nodded his head slightly at the red wolf before speaking.
"Well, if you're wanting to go to the drama club then you'd better be quick. The club finishes in fifteen minutes." Jack said to Thorn with a knowing look on his blonde furred and light brown-eyed face which resulted in Thorn looking from Miguno to Jack in quick succession.
"Is he right?" Thorn asked Miguno in worry and slight panic as the hyena just shrugged at the red wolf in answer with a small chuckle following soon after.
"The only club I go to is the music club. Though if anyone's going to know what time the drama club ends its Jack." Miguno said to Thorn in an honest tone of voice as Jack smirked at the red wolf causing Thorn to drag both his paws over his muzzle with a loud sigh and groan.
"Why am I so bad with time." The blonde and white-furred red wolf grumbled to himself in annoyance whilst Jack tilted his head slightly at Thorn in curiosity.
"Why do you need to go to the drama club anyway? I never took you for the acting type...well...okay maybe I did a little." Jack said to Thorn with a small smile to which Thorn chuckled nervously rubbing the back of his head with his right paw.
"Just because I can act well doesn't mean I want to be an actor ya know. It's just a good skill to have." Thorn said to Jack in an honest yet slightly sad tone causing the labrador to look at the red wolf with a small worried look on his blonde furred face.
"Well, you'd best hurry if you want to get there in time." Miguno playfully began to try and push the deep yellow-eyed canine forward in the direction of the drama club to which Thorn smirked slightly at the hyena's attempt to move him before nodding his head in answer to the smaller carnivore.
"Well, I'd best be off. I'll catch you guys later and hey Jack if you see Legoshi tell him I want to have that talk with you both." Thorn said to Jack with a small smile and a nod of his blonde and white-furred head before the red wolf playfully shoved Miguno before he began to run off toward the drama club.
"Try not to get lost on your way, Thorn!" Miguno jokingly yelled at Thorn as the red wolf disappeared round a corner whilst Jack chuckled and crossed his arms with a wide smile on his blonde furred face which didn't seem to go unnoticed by Miguno.
"Now that's the happiest smile I've seen from you in a long time Jack." Miguno chuckled and patted the labrador/retriever's shoulder prompting Jack to sigh with another chuckle as he looked up at the sky.
"Well get used to it because its gonna be appearing a lot more from now on." Jack looked back at Miguno as the smaller canines tail began to wag happily behind him whilst Miguno nodded his head at Jack with a happy and caring look on his face.
"Glad to hear that. And hey maybe with Thorn by your side you can both bring Legoshi out of his shell more." Miguno chuckled and smiled at Jack to which the smaller canine nodded his head at the spotted hyena in answer.
"Maybe your right Miguno. It'd be nice to have the old Legoshi back." Jack said to Miguno in a happy and confident tone of voice before the labrador/retriever began to walk off toward the dorm room buildings with Miguno following close behind the blonde furred canine.
"Did you really need me to come with you?" Kibi asked Legoshi in a slightly frustrated and tired tone of voice as both the anteater and the grey wolf waited in front of a metallic door.
"They'd be scared if a wolf suddenly shows up at there door demanding flowers," Legoshi said to Kibi in his usual tired and low tone of voice only for the grey wolf's nose to twitch as the smell of fresh flowers entered his canid nose.
"The flowers smell so fresh," Kibi said out loud in a happy tone of voice whilst Legoshi's ears sprung forward as a familiar scent mixed in with the fresh smell of the flowers prompting the wolfs face to turn into one of slight fear as Kibi began to open the door to the gardening club.
'Its the girl from that night.' Legoshi thought in panic and fear as his deep brown eyes settled on the small female white-furred dwarf rabbit from last night as said lapin smiled softly at both Legoshi and Kibi.
'She's...such a small rabbit...the devils garden.' Legoshi thought to himself as he looked at the still smiling rabbit who tilted her head slightly at both Legoshi and Kibi.
"Can I help you?" The rabbit said in a friendly tone of voice causing Legoshi to snap out of his current train of thought only to prompt the large canine to begin thinking of a way out of the situation he was now in.
'Shoot I gotta get outa here...um...buy why? A stomach ache, Bathroom? No um...I suddenly remembered an errand I have to do.' The grey wolf nodded to himself before opening his muzzle to speak to the dwarf rabbit only for Kibi to interrupt in a panicked and loud tone of voice as the grey-furred anteater shook his head with his paws on top.
"I forgot about an errand! Shoot I gotta go back right now." Kibi proclaimed in panic prompting Legoshi to quickly squat down to Kibis level with an irritated "Hey" to which the anteater responded with an "I'll buy the antshakes next time" before he smiled.
"You got this. Thanks a million." Kibi said to Legoshi with a confident smirk on his face to which the grey wolf tried to protest only for both Legoshis and Kibi's attention to be brought to the female dwarf rabbit who spoke out.
"Excuse me. Arent you guys here to pick up flowers for the welcome ceremony or?" The dwarf rabbit asked curiously to which Legoshi looked from Kibi to the rabbit with a nervous look on his face before mustering up the courage to speak.
"Er yeah...its just.." Before Legoshi could finish his sentence Kibi interrupted with a kind yet slightly sly smile on his face as he opened the door behind him and Legoshi.
"This wolf will take care of it. See ya!" Kibi said as the anteater quickly made his way through the door with a quick wave to Legoshi as said canine quickly tried to reach for the door only for Kibi to slam it shut in his face leaving Legoshi grasping onto the handle with a small sigh.
'Now I'm alone with her.' Legoshi thought to himself in slight fear and worry as he looked down at the floor before the female dwarf rabbit began to speak.
"Those rumors always spread so quickly. He probably got scared of me. Aren't you as well?" Legoshi couldn't help but look at his paws sadly as his mind couldn't help but go back to the night where he had attacked both the rabbit and Thorn as well as the prospect that he had the intention of eating the rabbit.
'I was about to devour you. I don't have the right to be scared. Or even to talk to you.' Legoshi thought deeply to himself whilst the female dwarf rabbit sighed as she began to make her way through a small archway that led into the main area for the gardening club.
"Are you coming?"
