Chapter 21

Hello everyone. Chapter 21 is finally here.

Like always, I don't own Yugioh ARC-V or anything related to it, except my OC Jason Yuki.

Chapter 21: Encountering Kaiser and Darkness.

"Jack..."

"Yuki Jason." He eyed me suspiciously, his voice void of emotion even more so than usual. "We need to talk."

"Talk to me?" I pointed towards myself. "About what?"

Whatever he wanted to tell me wasen't easy to bring up juding by sudden silence that took place. Him coming all the way to this part of the Duel Palce just proves that it has to be something important.

"Jack, I would like to say and 'chat', but I don't have time. My comrades are in danger." I passed next to him and continued walking, but next thing that he said made me stop.

"It's about Yusei."

I stoped in my tracks...

"Could this be because of me Summoning Stardust in my Duel against Crow?" I thought as I turned around and looked at him. "Crow also acted a little off when our Duel ended."

"What about him?"

"Who is he?" Jack asked.

"You don't know who he is?" I questioned and he nodded. "Jack, I would explain it to you, but I don't have time for this. I have to help my friends. And besides, even if I tell you whole story, you wouldn't belive me."

Just as I was about to resume my running to Serena and others, I felt a tight grip on my hand.

"Cut the crap!" He yelled, twisting my hand and making me wince in pain. "Visions of me and this Yusei fellow started to appear when you arrived in this City. That can't be coincidence! I want answers!"

I wrestled my hand out of his grip and glared at him. "Jack I don't have time for that! My friends are in danger and they can be hurting as we speak!"

"Is it Academia that Akaba Reiji spoke about?" He spoke, trying to stay calm, which was failing miserably.

"It is." I confirmed. "They are invading your Dimensions as we speak and I have to stop them."

"Tell me... If you're from different Dimension, why did you ask me for autograph after our Exhibition Match?"

Cold sweat formed on my brow, which didn't go unoticed by Jack. Shit... I knew that my obssesive fanboying over Legacy Duelists would get me in trouble sooner or later. Even person as dense as Sawatari started suspecting that something might be wrong when I asked Crow for his autograph. Despite all trouble that I caused, I don't regret NOTHING. They are legends and I couldn't miss an that oportunity.

I took a few deep breaths and did what any rational person would do in this situation. Escape like a little bitch...

I took a card from my Deck and placed it in my Duel Dusk. "Flash Fusion activate!"

"Wait!" Jack ran towards me, but was blinded but colorfol light of yellow. When he opened his eyes, he muttered only one word when he saw that I was gone. "Crap."

Few floors below Jason's room.

"Dammit!" I yelled, knocking another Security Officer with a bat with alarm echoing through the hallway. "Should have know that this wouldn't be easy. We are on the top floor of Duel Palace after all."

Ahead of me, I saw two man in black bussiness suit approching me fast.

"Hey, isn't that guy from Yugioh GX?"

His next words were interrupted by me punching him in the jaw, knocking him out the same second. "Lovely weather!"

I turned to my next victim and rocked him with a right hook. An elbow to his head and finally an roundhouse kick to the head finished it. "Tip your waitress!"

"Shit." I dusted myself off and activated my Duel Disk with my eyes flashing a small gold. "This is taking to long. I Summon Flame Wingman."

Wing Hero aopeared as I pointed towards a wall. "Blast that wall."

"You got it." He nodded and opened his dragin arm, releasing huge waves of fire that destroyed the wall.

"Stop right there!"

I looked around and before I knew it, I was surrounded by Security. I noticed small electricity coming from their helment.

"There is no mistaking it." I hardened my gaze at them. "They are being brainwashed by Roget."

"This is your last warning, come with us or we'll have to use force." Officer said in a emotionless voice.

"Okay pal, you obviously don't know who I am." I slowly backed to the hole in the wall with all Security moving towards me.

"My name is Jason Yuki. And I'm Absolutely Flawless."

My Duel Disk began playing most famous trend of GX Abridged and then I jumped. Murmurs of shock and disbelief were heared as Flame Wingamn caught me in mid air and we slowly descended to bottom floor...

"Thunder Giant go!"

Another Monster appeared and shooted and electirc wave towards Security, creating a mini explosion. That wasen't the most shocking part. Appearantly, force of Thunder Giant's attack was so strong that it hit control box, making huge wave of electiricty to travel around Duel Palace. But it didn't stop there. It traveled from building to building and was so strong that it deactivated roads and cut main power in Neo Domino City.

"..."

"..."

I spoke after an awkward silence that fell upon us. "If anyone asks, Yuya did it."

"Right." Flame Wingman agreed, leaving me at the entrance if garage.

Entrance to City's Unerground

(Normal POV)

Serena was escorted to the Underground Labor Facility by the guards after her lost against Yugo. Despite losing, this was the first time she has enjoyed dueling. Actually, she would be lying if she said that. To some extent, she enjojed her Duel against Jason back in Standard Dimension, even is she didn't want to admit it. Despite wanting to card him and bring him back to Academia to gloat to Professor, she felt an exictment that she couldn't explain at that time.

"Jason..." She thought about Hero Duelist with small smile across he lips. "This must be what you talked about."

Her time in Academia was spent on training relentlessly in hopes to finally get at least little bit of recognition from Professor. She never Dueled for fun and thrill of it, a fact that she now regrets.

"How did it happen?"

One of the guards talked through his D-Pad to his colleague, anger evident on his face.

"What's wrong?" Second one asked.

"Apperantely, one of the participants escaped from the Duel Palace." He began explaining. "He caused havoc and managed to cut power in entire City."

"That idiot..." Serena thought. "Still, it might be a good distraction."

"So we can't escort her through the elevator?"

Before she knew it, both guards were knocked out by two Goyo Catapults. Relying on her insticts, she immediately took her Duel Disk from one of the guards and activated it, not realising that one Security Officers was behind her with a Nerve Gas in his hands.

"KUUURIIIIII!"

Before he knew it, a certain small brown furball dug its claws into his cheek, making him drop Nerve Gas and roll on the floor while clutching his face in pain.

Serena took few steps back and got a closer look at her rescuer.

"Winged Kuriboh?"

"Kuri." Kuriboh went to person behind her which promted Serena to turn around.

"Jason, Reira..."

(Jason's POV)

"Nice work buddy." I thanked my Duel Spirit who squeeled in happiness and my praise, as he vanished into the particles.

"Yo, Serena what's up." I nonchantly waved at her.

"Hey." She greeted me and slowly walked to me and Reira. "What took you so long."

"Geez, sorry." I apologized, my voice driping with sarcasam. "It's not like I had to fight dozens of Security on my way here, while accidentally cut the main power in Neo Domino City."

"So that was you, huh." She smiled. "Idiot."

"That hurts." I replied in a fake-hurt tone. "If anyone asks - Yuya did it."

"Sure..."

"That hurt, you little brat." With the help of his friends, Officer rose up frim the floor, his face stained with blood.

"Damn." I couldn't help but laugh. "You look like shit."

"That's it!" All three of them activated their Duel Disk. "For that, you'll spent rest of your life in Detention Facility."

"Yea, yea..." We activated our Duel Disks."

"Reira." Serena called out to the girl. "You can leave these three to Jason and I."

"No." Reira shook her head. "Brother said that I should protect you and I intend to do that."

"Relax Serena. Reira can take care of himself. You have nothing to worry about." I reassured her. "Right, Reira?"

"Right." She solemnly nodded, turning towards our opponents.

"Fine." Moonlight user agreed upon seeing Reira's determined face.

"I never saw him so motivated before..."

"Enough chit-chat."

"I agree." We all activated our Duel Disk and yelled one word in unision.

"DUEL!"

"I will begin." Serena boldly declared. Despite her changing so much ever since her arrival in Standard, she still wants to erase a taste of lossing as soon as possible.

"I Summon Moonlight Red Cat."

Upon placing her Monster Card on her Duel Blade, a humanoid cat in black leggings with pink skin appeared that was simillar to Blue Cat. She had a short black skirt and long claws with one visible brown eye, while her other one was covered by golden accessory.

ATK: 1600 / DEF: 1200 (LV: 4)

"That's new." I thought. "I guess that she had a bunch of cool cards, but never had a chance to show them in canon. So there is NO CHANCE IN HELL that I'll let Barret take her away to Academia."

"I activate Monster Effect of my Red Cat." Her Monster danced around gracefully as card ejected from Serena's Deck. "I can use this card on my Field and one other Moonlight Monster from my Hand or Deck to Fusion Summon. I fuse it with my Moonlight Blue Cat."

Both of her Monsters entered a colorfol Fusion Vortex and swirled into it as Serena began to do her usual Summon Chant.

Blue cat that prowls through the darkness! Crimson cat with sharp claws! Spiral into the moon's gravity and become a new power! Fusion Summon! Come to me! Beautiful beast that dances in the moonlight! Moonlight Cat Dancer!

ATK: 2400 / DEF: 2000 (LV: 7)

"I place one card facedown and end my turn." She concluded, as a set card materilised behind her Ace Monster.

Serena: 4000 LP x3

She turned to me. "Your move."

"Right." I cheerefully nodded. "To start things off, I play my Polymerization and with it fuse my Avian and Burstinatrix."

"Hero of wind, become one with elegent warrior of fire to create a new power!" I pumped my fist in the air and proudly shouted. "Fusion Summon! Come forth! My favorite Hero! Elemental Hero Flame Wingman!"

Wave of fire erupted in front of me and in seconds time, Flame Wingman stood there.

ATK: 2100 / DEF: 1200 (LV: 6)

"I also set a card and end it with that. Go Reira! Show them what you got!"

"I will." Reira answered back with a small smile.

"Jason has always fought his hardest in this War to create peaceful future for everyone. Even Serena changed when she learned true colors of Academia. I will not be a burden anymore. I will protect my comrades!" She thought with a newfound determination.

"I Summon Film Magician."

Magician Monster in black robes with green edges appeared. It had a mirror goggles on his purple hat and a yellow staff in his right Hand.

ATK: 0000 / DEF: 0000 (LV: 1)

"Attack of 0?" Security 1 muttered.

"What do you plan to do with such Monster?" Security 3 asked.

"Film Magician can't be destroyed in Battle." She began explaining. "In addition, Film Magician's Attack becomes equal to Monster it attacks it."

"So it comes down to a draw where only Attacking Monster gets destroyed." Security 2 noted. "Interesting."

"I end my turn here." Reira finished.

Serena: 4000 LP x3

"My turn!" Security 1 drew his card. "I Summon Jutte Lord."

Monster, resembling Edo Period Police Officers appeared, wielding its Jutte in his right Hand.

ATK / 1600 DEF / 1200 (LV: 4)

"When Summoned, Jutte Lord allows me to Special Summon another Jutte Monster from my Hand." He placed a card on his Duel Disk. "Come forth! Jutte Knight!"

Small Monster with round glasses appeared.

ATK: 700 / DEF: 900 (LV: 2)

"I tune my Level 4 Jutte Lord to my Level 2 Jutte Knight!"

Jutte Knight turned to two Synchro Rings and Jutte Lord passed through them, turning into four white orbs.

"Shoot down evildoers with your crushing cannon! Synchro Summon! Behold! This is the power of a law! Level! 6 Goyo Catapult!"

Bulky robot in blue armor with huge cannon on his back while having a jutte in his hand appeared in Defense Mode.

ATK: 800 / DEF: 2800 (LV: 6)

"Once per turn, using Goyo Catapult's effect, I can discard one Monster card to inflict 600 to my opponents."

His Synchro Monster readied his cannon, fireing it towards us, creating mini explosion that pushed us back couple feets with our Life Points reduced to 3400.

"Too bad for you." He told us with a smug grin. "With Battle Royal rules, neither one of us can attack on first turn, but that doesn't mean that we can't Damage you otherwise."

"Bro, you wasted three cards in Summoning a 800 Attack Synchro Monster that dealt us measly 600 Points of Damage." I pointed out, suprised at his unnecessary cocky. "Duel is far from finished and you shouldn't gloat with such small accomplishment."

"We'll see. I end my turn."

"We'll grind your foolishness into your very bones for opposing the law. I draw!" Security number 2 exclaimed. "I too shall Summon Jutte Lord."

ATK / 1600 DEF / 1200 (LV: 4)

"Using my Jutte Lord's effect, I Special Summon Jutte Knight."

ATK: 700 / DEF: 900 (LV: 2)

I let out a loongg expirated sigh. "This again... Can't you guys be more original?"

"SILENCEE!" Officer roared. "I tune my Level 4 Jutte Lord to my Level 2 Jutte Knight!"

"Shoot down evildoers with your crushing cannon! Synchro Summon! Behold! Level! 6 Goyo Catapult!"

ATK: 800 / DEF: 2800 (LV: 6)

"I too shall use effect of Goyo Catapult." He slid a card to his Graveyard. "I discard a Monster and inflict 600 Points of Damage to each and every one of you!"

Another blast came from Synchro Monster, droping our Life Points to 2800.

"I end my turn."

Third Officer did the SAME fricking thing. Jutte Lord, Jutte Knight to Goyo Catapult, then discarding a card and inflicting 600 points of Damage to us.

"What's wrong?" One of them taunted. "Weren't you going to stop us? Despite all the talk, this is what Commons amount to..."

"Shut up, you bastards!" Serena angrily retored, glaring at all three of them with murderous intent. "I will not be bullied by dishonorable cowards such as yourself!"

"Why you! How dare you?!"

"You think she's lying?" I joined in. "You three shitheads tried to spray her with Nerve Gas. Where is the honour in that?!"

Serena turned to me and smiled in appreciation for backing her up.

"She's cute with that smile of hers..." I thought with a hint of red across my face, before shaking my head rapidly. "What am I saying. Focus Jason!"

"My turn." Serena started by pressing a button on her Duel Disk which revealed a humanoid cat, with a shining blue claws attached on her hands.

"I activate my facedown Moonlight Claws! I can select one Moonlight Monster I control and equip this card to it, increasing its attack by 800, while granting it ability to deal Piercing Damage! My obvious choice is Cat Dancer!"

Cat Dancers hands were enveloped by bright blue light that transformed into claws.

ATK: 2400-3300 / DEF: 2000 (LV: 7)

"Attack of 3300?!" All three of them took a step back.

"I'm not done yet." She stated in a firm tone. "I Summon Moonlight Purple Butterfly."

ATK: 1000 / DEF: 1000 (LV: 3)

"Cat Dancer's effect activates! By releasing one Moonlight Monster, Cat Dancer can attack all your Monsters twice each, but they won't be destroyed in the first Battle. I release by Purple Butterfly."

"All our Monsters?!" Officer 1 stammered.

Upon her declaration, Purple Butterfly shattered, remainings of its particles being absorbed into Cat Dancer.

"Battle! Cat Dancer attack all of their Monsters!" She commanded.

Cat Dancer proceeded with her assault on three Goyo Catapults. Due to her effect, they weren't destroyed in first Battle, but with her Moonlight Claws equiped to her Ace, all three Officers recived 500 Points of Damage first time, and later on 1000 in total when their Monster got destroyed.

"I end my turn."

"Then it's my turn." I drew my card. "Battle! Flame Wingman attack Officer number 2! Flame Shoot!"

Flame Wingman hovered in the air and opened it's Dragon arm, unleashing waves of fire towards my opponent.

"That still won't be enough to finish me!" He pointed out, bracing himself for my attack.

"I beg to differ." I pressed a button on my Duel Disk, thus revealing my Trap. "I activate Soul Union! By targeting my Flame Wingman, he can gain Attack of one other Elemental Hero in my Graveyard. I choose my 1200 Attack Burstinatrix!"

ATK: 2100-3300 / DEF: 1200 (LV: 6)

"Oh, shi..."

BOOOOOOM!

After an explosion occired and shick waves sent Security Officer on the hard concrete floor, knocking him out unconcious.

"Nice work." Serena praised. "One down."

"I end my turn." I turned to Reira and gave her a thumbs up with a smile on my face . "Finish them."

"Right." She nodded.

"I draw." Reira began. "I activate Continuous Spell Nightmare Past Loop. Once per turn, I can release one Monster I control." His Film Magician turned to particles.

"What did you do that?" Security 1 wondered.

"He must be confused..."

"I Summon C/C One-Eyed Past Eye!"

Deformed Monster with glowing red eye appeared on the Field

ATK: 1400 / DEF: 1000 (LV: 3)

"I won't let you have Serena!" She spoke, her eyes full of determination. "I will protect her and all my friends!"

"Reira..." Serena whispered. When she first met the boy, her first impression of him wasn't good. She thought that he was fragile and scared child, but to her suprise, in front of her stood a determined Duelist that will do anything to help her. What exactly changed to make Reira this way?

"I activate my Spell C/C Enchanting. I can select one Monster Summoned from Extra Deck and give it 600 Attack plus additional Level. I choose Jason's Flame Wingman."

"My Monster?" Looked as one of my favorite card Attack got to 2700 and Level bounced to 7.

"What good will that do?" Officer asked, confised at unusual move.

"Be patient." Reira calmly retored. "I activate Spell Montage Fusion." Small camera came out of the card that took a pictire of my Wingman. "With this, I copy Jason's Wingman and fuse it with my C/C One-Eyed Past Eye!"

"Courageous Hero of the Wind, dedicate your powers to my eyes! Fusion Summon! Come forth and knock everything with the speed of sound! Level 8 - C/C/C Sonic Halberd of Battle!"

Monster resembling an axe/spere hybrid appeared on Reira's Field, while constantly being surrounded by stong gust of wind

ATK: 3000 / DEF: 0000 (LV: 8)

"3000?!" They took a step back. Judging by their expressions, even they knew that this was the last turn.

"You will take one of us out, but in next turn..."

"Halberd of Battle can battle twice each turn." Reira interrupted, making them sweat nervously.

She slowly rose her hand and pointed at Officer number 3. "You will be the first one."

"No, wait..." He pleaded, but Reira didn't listen.

"Battle! C/C/C Sonic Halberd of Battle attack him directly!"

At girls command, the axe/spere hybrid glew bright green and ramed itself to solar plexis of Security, reducing its Life to 0 the same instance.

"Sorry for the wait." She turned to lone Security, glaring at him. "I'll make this quick."

In matter of seconds, Reira's Monster ramed itself into Officer and knocked the wind out of his lungs. He roled on the floor few times and, just like his colleagues, drifted to the land of dreams.

"That was awesome Reira!" I patted her on the back, suprising her at my enthusiastic attitude. "Nice job."

"T-thanks." She stammered, embarrassed at such praise.

"Seriously. You have serious skills. Don't let anyone tell you differently." I smiled.

"I agree. That was quite a Duel." Serena said. "It's strange really, you were always so afraid."

In a blur, a male figure dressed in a black ninja costume, shoulder protectors and a headband with details of a moon landed next to us.

"Tsukikage."

"Reira has changed. He isn't an existance that needs constant protection anymore." He told us, as he looked around, noticing knocked out guards and Security. "From the looks of it, you three have finished here."

"Did something happen? Oi! Where is Serena?!"

Tsukikage went to pick up the helmet, but I quickly intercepted him while giving out a playful smirk to him and Serena, making them sigh.

"Just be quick." Serena told me. "We don't have all night."

"What is happening?!"

"Your minions getting their ass kicked is happening." I spoke thorugh small michrophone in the helmet with a teasing manner.

"You?!"

"Yea, it's me. Serena is in our custody. You really thought that sending few of your lackeys would be enough to prevent us from protecting her?"

"You bastard!" Roget screamed, pich of his voice neraly poping my eardrums, before connection got lost.

"Sheesh. What a lunatic..." I droped helmet back on the floor. "Let's get out of here. This place reeks like burning meat."

Roget's Office

"How dare they defy me like that!"

Roget raged, upon geting a message from leader of the Lancers - Akaba Reiji himself, that all his forces that he sent to Capital Building were eliminated.

"What's the status on Sergey's repair surgery?"

"It is done Sir." Lead scientist informed him. "The brain-washing device in functioning as well."

"Good. Send him to Capital Building immediately! Get him ready!"

"Yes, Sir!"

Screen turned off and Roget plumeted to his chair, compiling his plan.

"No matter if Akaba Reiji has Hiragi Yuzu or Serena. I will take them back eventually and they won't be able to stop me. Then, Segey will wipe them out."

Suddenly, lights in Roget's office began twitching, turning on and off on their own. All light bulbs bursted and door opened. With a dark, thick aura surrounding it, a lone figure elegantly strolled in.

By its initial apperance, she was female. She had long straight green waist length hair with one large curl above her forehead. Her outfit consisted of a long dress, displaying her cleavage with long slits revealing the side of her legs, straps crossing her arms just below her shoulders attached to a cape. She had gold armbands and bracelets on both arms and heeled shoes with laces continuing up her shins.

"Haou-sama sent me here to check up on how our plan is going." Female smirked, showing a pair of fangs. "By the state of the City, it's not going well."

"There were... Some distractions, but rest assured that both Hiragi Yuzu and Serena will be in our custody." Roget nervously said.

"Nevertheless, Haou-sama sent me here to make sure that our plan will work. For that I will acquire that pink haired girl, while your cyborg takes care of Academia Duelist."

She turned around, ready to leave, but not before her eyes glowed bright red. "You know the price for failure. I suggest that you do all in your power to make Haou-sama proud. For your OWN good."

She started to disintegrate, turning herself in dozens bats that broke the window and flew of into night's sky.

"Wretched vampires..." Roget stammered.

Streets of Slums - Neo Domino City.

"So where to now?"

Questioned was asked by Serena, as she, alongside Tsukikage, Reira and me walked through deserted streets of the Slums.

"We will have to find a shelter." Tsukikage spoke. "We can't let Security find you and the way we are now, we are highly outnumbered."

"Not only that." I spoke up. "Academia is here already."

"How? When?" Tsukikage asked, as other two watched me intensively.

"During my Duel with Yuya, I felt someone watchung us and saw Yuri on top of one buildings." I explained.

"I see." Serena placed a hand on her chin. "No matter how good Duel Soldier Yuri is, Professor wouldn't dispatch him to this Dimension without some sort of back up."

"So it's only a matter of time before they come looking for you, Serena-dono." Ninja Duelist noted.

Just then, Serena's bracelet began emiting a strong purple shine.

Reira's eyes widened. "Your bracelet."

"This can't be true..." I looked behind me, few miles from Duel Palace and noticed that sky darkened with occasional purple lighting striking the nearby buildings.

"Is something happening to Yuya?" Serena thought aloud.

"Yea. I'm going to check up on him." I told them. "Meanwhile, you three go get shelter and later on we will regroup with others."

I felt small tugging on my left sleeve and looked down only to see Reira staring at me with sad eyes, while clutching her teddy bear.

"Don't go... We can't leave you alone."

I kneeled and was not with her eye level. "Don't worry. I'll be back. I just want to got check on Yuya to make sure that he's alright."

Reira slowly nodded, griping to her teddy bear. I could feel that she's upset about this, but I had to help Yuya out. That power that I felt... Was strange. I couldn't describe it, but...

"Like evil incarnate?" Dark Panther suddenly appeared. "I know the feeling kid. I felt it too. Zarc can't be that cause of it."

"Do you have any idea what it is?" I reluctantly asked, while geting up on my feet.

"I'm afraid not. Whatever it is it can't be good." He shook his head and spoke in a serious tone, which was quite unusual for him.

"Then I'm coming with you." Serena spoke with voice without any hint of hesitation that snaped me from my coversation with my Duel Spirit.

"No. If he's facing Academia Duelists then you'll be in trouble an..."

"I can take care of myself!" She half-yelled.

I gained a serious expression. "I know that you can, but you should go with Reira and Tsukikage. If Academia finds out your location, they will sent all their forces to capture you. To prevent that, you have to go into hiding, no matter if you think that is a cowardly act for a Duelist. Like it or not, securing you is a priority. I would stay to, but I belive that Yuya is facing something even more powerfull than Academai."

"But..."

I placed my hands on her shoulders. "I know that you can take care of yourself. Heck, even Akaba Reiji didn't give me that much of a challenge like you did in our Duel, but you don't have to worry. I'll be okay."

I turned Tsukikage, while Serena, unknown to be, blushed furiously. "I'll leave it to you."

"You have nothing to fear." He firmly stated.

Without any other word, I began running towards Yuya's location.

While Later

I have been runnning for good 15 minutes now. I would usually use my powers to Summon one of my Monsters for a quick transport, but constant Dueling, added by the fact that I used this power twice already today, really put a tool on my body.

"Dammit." I rested my hands on my knees to catch my breath. "If this continues, I'll never catch up to Yuya.

"You! Stop right there?"

I turned towards the souce of yelling and saw lone Security Officer with activated Duel Disk glaring at me.

"Surrender now. Further resistance will be punishible."

"If I got a dollar everytime you maggots said that, I'd be richer that Seto Kaiba." I said in a uninterested tone.

"Who?" He titled his head in confusion, not releasing who motherf*cking Seto Kaiba is.

"You're a fucking uneducated moron!"

I dashed towards him, suprising Jutte Duelist. He threw a sloppy right hook at me l, but I ducked and delivered strong liver shot. Security griped his right side, while cursing rather loudly.

"Language!"

I threw an elbow at his head, right at his helmet opening. A gush of blood driped down his face and I jabed him once more, knocking him out with a possible mild-concussion.

"Well that was quick." I looted him and got a key from his D-Wheel.

"Language?" Burstinatrix asked me rhetorically. "You, a guy that swears so much that would even put Deadpool to shame, scolded him from swearing?"

"Well, I wouldn't go that far." I refered to Deadpool part. "Besides, even if I'm a swearing bastard, doesn't give the right for others to act the same as me."

"So does that mean that you won't swear and insult others so much?" She asked with hope in her eyes.

"Hell no!" I retored with a small grin

Burstinatrix huffed as I got on top of Security's D-Wheel. I must say that it isn't good as Yusei-D, but it will suffice. I reved up the engine and speeded up, leaving only dust behind me.

I drove for few minutes and noticed a strange flying objects in the sky.

"Obelisk Force... They're here..."

"Kid! Snap out of it!" Dark Panther yelled, as I looked at a figure that stood in front of me. I braked hard, but due to speed with which I drove, my D-Wheel still headed straight towards it.

"Get out of the way!" I shouted, but it didn't budge a centimetar. Insted, it activated a Duel Disk and form of three mechanical dragons appeared behind it, seemingly merging together into a new Monster. This one resembled the other three, only it was bigger in size and had three heads insted of one, while leting out a loud howling.

My eyes widened at the next thing that figure spoke.

"ETERNAL EVOLUTION BURST!"

Three headed beast opened up it's mouth, gathering torrent of blue flames in them and blasting it towards my direction. Unconsciously, my eyes turned gold as attack connected.

Force of the attack reduced D-Wheel, which I rode into huge pile of flaming junk as I jumped out of it in mid air and landed safely on the ground. Safely yes. Uninjured definetely no. I was covered in bruises and small part of my skin on my forearm got caught in fire and was burned off.

I griped my forearm in pain. "That was uncalled for. I could have died you sick bastard."

"Oh please..." Voice behind flaming D-Wheel spoke. From flaming enigma, a figure began aporoching me. "If it was that easy to kill you, that sorry excuse of Duelist named Obelisk Force would do that in Standard Dimension. But it seems that whatever is thrown at you you survive."

I rubbed my nose with a small smirk. "Well, I am that awesome."

"You're more like a cockroach than anyrhing else."

"Well, that's not nice." I pouted

He came out of the fire and I got a better look at him. He wore a long black overcoat with white trimmings and sharp edges. His hair was unusual blue and had a matching blue eyes.

"Who the hell are you and what's wrong with you're hair?!" I hastily said. I just couldn't resist it. He has a fricking BLUE hair. That's forth most ridicilous hair in all Yugioh, behind Yuya, Fusion and Yuri.

"Oh, great... Another joker." He rolled his eyes. "Guys like you are most fun to torture and then later on break. In a Duel against me, one of the first things that never survives is your sense of humour."

"You must be fun at parties." I exclaimed, my voice screaming sarcasam. I got up from the floor and dusted my, now burned jacket.

"From all stories I heared about you from Serena, you must be Ryo Marufuji." I lied. I obvously knew who the guy was and desperately wanted to ask him for his autograph, but that look in his eyes... Let's just say that Ryo from Season 1 of GX is long gone...

"That is my name." He noded as he redied his black Academia Duel Disk, which was pretty cool if I do say so myself. "I'm also know as Hell Kaiser."

"I suposse that you just won't let me pass and get to my friend?" I asked and he snorted. "Didn't think so."

I activated my Duel Disk as it began generating Action Field.

{Field Spell: Crossover!}

Following robotic voice's declaration, numerous floating platforms surrounded us and sphere containing Action Cards bursted, scattering around us.

"DUEL!"

Jason: 4000 LP x5

Kaiser Ryo: 4000 LP x5

"You may have the first move." He offered as I narrowed my eyes.

"His Cyber Dragons will be problem and if I Summon a Monster in my turn, he will bring out a 2100 Attack Monster in instant." I looked over my Hand. "Still... What other choice do I have..."

"I Summon Elemental Hero Bubbleman!" Bubbleman appeared in Attack Mode.

ATK: 800 / DEF: 1200 (LV: 4)

"When Bubbleman is Summoned and I don't have any other cards on my Field, I get to draw two more cards." At moments like this, I was gratefull to heavens that Bubbleman had Anime Effect. I picked up two more and activated one of them immediately.

"And I equip him with a Spell Bubble Blaster!" Following my declaration, a water basuka with a red tip appeared on my Heroes shoulders. "With this card in play, my Bubbleman gets an extra 800 Attack Points."

ATK: 800-1600 / DEF: 1200 (LV: 4)

I fixed my posture. "I end my turn."

Jason: 4000 LP x5

Kaiser Ryo: 4000 LP x6

He raised his eyebrow. "Even if it was a passive move, at least you didn't Summon your entire Extra Deck in your first turn like some peple I faced in the past. Those kind of Duelists fall rather quickly."

I mentally agreed with him. Just look what Kurosaki did to LDS trio back in Standard. over 16 000 Attack Rise Falcon just because they wanted to show off...

He drew his card. "With you having a Monster on your Field, I can Special Summon this one without releasing anyhing! Come forth - Cyber Dragon!"

Upon placing his card on his Duel Blade a long serpent-like mechanical dragon appeared.

ATK: 2100 / DEF: 1600 (LV: 5)

"So that was your strategy...: I muttered. "That's the reason you wanted me to have a first move."

"Of course. But if you think that this is bad, you have another thing coming." He inseted a card in his Disk. "I activate my Spell Evolution Burst! When I control a Cyber Dragon, I can target one card you control and destroy it. I choose your Hero."

Cyber Dragon opened up his mouth and released tla torent of blue enrgy towards Bubbleman that burned him to crips the moment Attack connected.

"That was fast..." I shielded myself from the shock wave that followed after my Monsters destruction.

"Not as fast as your Life Point meter is going to run out..." He cooly said as his Dragon unleashed another torrent of blue energy that came towards me. "Cyber Dragon attack him directly!"

"Great..." I gritted my teeth and grabed my burned skin on my forearm.

I set a card and end my turn." He concluded, watching my injured form. "Had enough?"

I scoffed at his question. "Don't be ridicilous. I never give up. I will fight until the end no matter what! I will never forgive Academia for what they did to Heartland!"

"Hn..." Kaiser had an smug look on his face. "Tough words, but can you back them up?"

"I know I can." I replied. "As long as I have bonds with my cards and friends, I will eventually win!"

Kaiser raised an eyebrow. "Bonds?"

Then he began laughing. It was a small laigh at first, but later on it grew in maniacly laugh.

"What's so funny?!" I growled.

"You and your childish beliefs. What else to expect from you.. Bonds, friends... They are all nuisence. Duels are won by sheer power and nothing else. An ability to gather all your might and crush you opponent with it is what makes a true Duelist."

I wanted to speak first, but he beat me to it. "I suppose that Heartland also belived in these bonds as you speak and looked where it got them. They got crushed by Academia's power. Even if they judged Academia for carding people, at the end they had to become more powerfull to survive. They learned to survive, they learned to fight and they learned to avenge. This world is run by power, that's the way it is and that's the way it always will bee. Stronger will survive and weaker will die. Question is: Which one will you be?"

I was left speechless after his declaration. Power is everything? Sure you have to be strong, but you can't reach that level on your own. You have to have someone to support you on your way to the top.

I shook my head, placed fingers on my Deck and looked at Duel Academia's Kaiser.

"Just you wait... I'll wipe out that smug of your face."

Cue Impossible Victory

"I draw!" I looked at my hand. "Great. I activate Polymerization!"

A Fusion Vortex appeared behind me as two of my Monsters jumped into it. "I fuse my Necro Ghoul and Shadow Mist. Fusion Summon! Elemental Hero Dark Ghoul!"

Monster that came out of the Fusion Vortex had a simillar design to Necro Ghoul. His lower body was transparent like in any other ghost. His claws were sharper as well his spikes on his shoulder and knee pads. He had dark costume with orange and blue trimmings around his body. His mask was simillar like that in Elemental Hero Necroshade and he wore a black hoodie over his head.

ATK: 2600 / DEF: 1900 (LV: 7)

"So that's your Fusion Summon." He noted. "I must say, it is quite powerfull considering the fact that you come from Standard."

"Thanks. But flattery won't get you far." Spirit of Shadow Mist and Necro Ghoul appeared behind me respectivly. "With my Shadow Mist being sent to the Graveyard, I can add one Hero Monster from my Deck to my Hand. Furthermore, I can also draw a card since Necro Ghoul got sent to the Graveyard."

"Now Dark Ghoul effect activates!" I exclaimed as my new Hero Monster let loose dark energy beam that headed straight towards Kaiser's Cyber Dragon. "Once per turn, I can destroy one Monster you control and inflict Damage to you equal to half your Monsters Original Attack."

His Monster disinegrated into particles as gust of wind blew him back, reducing his Life to 2950.

"Dark Ghoul can't attack on the turn I use this effect, but for every Monster I destroy through his effect, I draw a card."

I Summon Elemental Hero Sparkman!" My light Hero appeared

ATK: 1600 / DEF: 1400 (LV: 4)

"And with it, I attack you directly! Go Spark Flash!" Sparkman blasted a bolt of electricity towards Kaiser, who, despite clear disatvantage remained unfased.

"I activate my Cyberdark Spirit." Card showed Cyberdark Edge surrounded by dark barrier. "When you declare an attack, I can negate it and end the Battle Phase." Dark barrier appeared, reflecting Sparkman's attack to a nearby building that got damaged in the process. "Then, I can add one Cyberdark Monster from my Deck to my Hand, or send it to the Graveyard. I send my Cyberdark Claw to the Graveyard."

"New Cyberdark support." I hardened my gaze. "There were rumours that Konami wanted to release GX Support after Duel Monsters.. I guess that this is it..."

Impossible Victory Ends

"I set a card and end my turn." I finished las a set card appeared in front of me.

Jason: 2700 LP x4

Kaiser Ryo: 2950 LP x4

Kaiser silently drew his card. "I activate Continuos Spell Future Fusion. During my first Standby Phase after this card's activation, from my Deck, I sent Materials needed for a Summoning of a Fusion Monster and I can Special Summon it during my 2nd Standby Phase after this card's activation."

This card can be Special Summoned when you control more Monsters than I do."

Upon placing his card on his Duel Disk, ground violently shook and from behind him appeared a huge Cyber Dragon with red outlines around it's body. His eyes glew in yellow color and he radiated pure power.

"Meet Cybernatic Kaiser!"

ATK: ? / DEF: 0000 (LV: 8)

"Kaiser, huh... That's appropriate considering your nickname. But hate to break it to you, it's Attack in undertermined."

"I'm quite aware of that. However, that will change soon enough." His Extra Deck compartment shone and a Dragon with five heads came out of it, attaching itself to machine monstrosity. "By attaching one Dragon or Machine-Type Monster from my Extra Deck to my Monster, it gains Attack equal to Original Attack of Monster that is equiped to it."

My eyes widened. "You have got to be kidding me?!"

"I'm quite serious." He stoicly replied as Attack of his Monster rose to a ridicilous amount.

ATK: ?-5000 / DEF: 0000 (LV: 8)

"Unfortunately for me, it can only Attack Special Summoned Monster." He explained with a nonchantly shrug. "However, with amount of Life Points you currently have, it will be enough. Which is too bad since I would take Damage equal to equiped Monsters Attack Points during my End Phase."

"Battle!" He declared as his Monster began charging its Attack. "Cybernatic Kaiser destroy his pathetic Hero! EMPEROR'S BURST!"

His Monster launched his yellow and blue laser beam towards my Fusion Monster. Attack was traveling at rapidd speed, tearing down entire street in the process. Eventually, it pierced him through the chest and despite his efforts to hold on, he got destroyed.

"Dark Ghoul!" I screamed as attack connected with me and threw me to a nearby building.

BOOOOOMMMMMM!

Huge marks following the attack were left. Few street lamps got caught in crossfire as pitch black smoke descended upon our Battlefield.

"Hmph..." Kaiser lowered his hand and turned around, ready to leave. "To think that he was the reason Professor called me back. Pathetic..."

"Duel isn't over." I called out as I rose back to my feet, my injuries even worse than before. My right hand was swollen and my ankle was sprain.

"Interesting..." He turned around, now facing me. "So you managed to hold on. How?"

"Defense Draw." I struggled to my feet. "Damage is negated and I draw an Extra Card..."

"I suposse that I misjudged you. Still, one lucky move won't win you this Duel."

"It doesn't have to. Your Monster will do that for me. Like you said, during the End Phase of your turn, Five GOD Dragon's Original Attack will be inflicted to your Life Points."

"Don't make me laugh. I'm a lot of things, but amateur isn't one of them. I Summon Cyber Kirin." Small mechanical hound appeared.

ATK: 300 / DEF: 800 (LV: 3)

"By releasing my Cyber Kirin, I can negate all Effect Damage for this turn." He explained as his Monster bursted into particales.

"That's convenient..." I muttered and he ignored me.

"I set one card face down and end my turn."

"I have to end this quick... Yuya might be in trouble."

"My turn." I drew my card. "I Summon my Neo Porter!" Golden version of Cross Porter appeared next to Sparkman in Attack Position.

ATK: 400 / DEF: 400 (LV: 2)

"I activate Neo Porters effect!" I carried on as he let out a radiant gold shine that enveloped both him and Sparkman before they dissapeared. "I can send this card and one other card I control to the Graveyard to Summon Elemental Hero Neos and one Neo-Spacian from my Hand, Deck or Graveyard.

From my Deck I Summoned Neos and Dark Panther with 2500 and 1000 Attack.

"Neos and Neo-Spacian..." He muttered.

"With these two I perform a Contact Fusion." Both of them jumped in Galaxy Vortex and from it Hero resembling Neos only with Wolverine claws and dark armor appeared. He had large bat-like wings and red outlines on the edge of his armor.

"I Summon Elemental Hero Dark Neos!"

ATK: 2500 / DEF: 2000 (LV: 7)

"So the rumours are true..." He looked at my Monster. "You are able to perform Contact Fusion..."

"You're making it sound like its a rocket science..." I sighed with expiration.

One of the things that I hate about Anime World is incompetence of people to play a Fricking Childrens Card Game. It's not that hard. In most cases you only need to have at least two Materials on your Field and shuffle them back into your Deck. Why people think that's complicated is beyond me. But I digressed...

"I Equip my Dark Neos with Comis Armor." Rainbow aura enveloped my Hero Monster, increasing it's Attack by 600.

"I activate Dark Neos effect!" I continued as my Monster unleashed a wave of dark energy at Ryo's new Monster. "Once per turn, I can negate effect of one Monster on the Field!"

"What?!" He exclaimed, watching his Monster becoming powerless.

"And with your Monsters Attack reduced to 0, Neos is free to Attack without trouble! Go!" Neos leaped in the air and came down towards Cybernetic Kaiser, slazhing it over the head and creating huge explosion following his destruction.

"Not yet!" Kaiser exclaimed as his reverse card showed itself. "I activate Cyber Wall! Due to this card effect, I can negate Battle Damage from one Battle involving a Machine or Dragon-Type Monster I control." Wall of data appeared in front of him, shielding him from any Damage.

"Normaly after effect of this card resolves, I draw one card, but since I have a Cyber or Cyberdark Monster in my Graveyard I draw twice more."

"No wonder that this guy is best Duelist in Academia... He red through my attack perfectly..." I thought with a smile. "Too bad that he is trying to kill me because I wanted even ask him for an autograph."

"I'll finish it with two face downs." I ended.

Kaiser Ryo: 2950 LP x3

"Then it's my move. I draw." A smirk formed on Kaiser's face when he drew his card, making a shiver go down my spine.

He held up his finger like I'm some kind of child that doesn't understand basic mathemathic. I had D in Math thank you very much!

"One turn has passed." He revealed his Cyberdarkness Dragon, probably one of his new Cyber Dark Support and sent 5 fricking Cyberdarks to his Grave. Damn...

"That's a lot of Fusion Materials." I noted, trying to check my Duel Disk for any information about his new Cyberdark Monster, but none was found. "I hope that it's worth it."

"It will be." He responded with an arrogant smirk as he held up a lone card.

"I play Pot of Greed to draw two more cards. Next I'll Summon Cyber Dragon Core!"

Minature version of original Cyber Dragon only black in color appeared on the Field.

ATK: 400 / DEF: 1500 (LV: 2)

"When Core is Summoned, I can add one Cyber Spell or Trap from my Deck to my Hand." A card ejected from his Deck, which je took. "I add Cyber Repair Plant. Core's name is treated as Cyber Dragon while on the Field or in the Graveyard. Next I activate Machine Duplication."

"Oh great!" I gritted my teeth, knowing what's coming.

"By targeting Cyber Dragon Core, I can Special Summon up to two Monster from my Deck with the same name as targeted Monster. Come Forth! My Cyber Dragons!"

In pillar of blue light, Kaiser's two more Cyber Dragons appeared, both in Attack Mode.

ATK: 2100 / DEF: 1600 (LV: 5 ) x2

"You know, I'm really getting sick of these things..." I commented.

"Don't worry, your suffering won't last much longer." He fliped over his card as my eyes widened.

"Polymerization?!"

"That's right!" Fusion Vortex appeared behid him, as all three of his Dragons entered it. "I'll use it to Summon my Pride! My very Soul!"

"Three mechanical dragons's with force beyond recognision. Descened now and show us your combined might!" Ryo chanted. "Fusion Summon!"

Blue lighting struck ground behind him as his Ace began emerging. Like before, it was a three headed hydra with a long serpain-like mechanical body with a huge blue orb in its torso.

ATK: 4000 / DEF: 2800 (LV: 10)

I felt a cold sensation traveling through my body and looked down at my arm only to see that it's shaking.

"Is this... Fear?" I gulped hard as I faced his Monster. "Even Dark Valkyria or Kaibaman didn't show this much of pressure and power in my Duel against them. Just how good is?"

"Speechless?" Ryo asked. "Let's fix that! Your screams for mercy will be a nice addition after my beast is done with you!"

Cyber End roared in agreement, preparing for attack.

"Cyber End Dragon attack with ETERNAL EVOLUTION BURST!"

Three headed beast opened up its mouth and charged energy into it. It lasted for 2-3 second before it blasted it towards Neos and destroyed him, reducing my Life to 1800.

"I... Activate a Trap!" I pressed a button on my Duel Disk as Spirit of Dark Neos appeared. "Change of Hero - Reflector Ray! When you destroy a Hero Fusion Monster in Battle, I can inflict Damage to you equal to his Original Level x300!"

Dark Neos appeared in front of Kaiser and stiked him in his chest, but he remained unfase even if his Life recived a critical hit.

I ignored his lack of concern and carried on with my move. "When Cosmic Armor leaves the Field while equiped to Neos Fusion Monster, I can Summon it's Fusion Materials from my Deck. Then draw one card."

ATK: 2500 / DEF: 2000 (LV: 7)

ATK: 1000 / DEF: 500 (LV: 3)

Ryo's eyes widened as he clutched to his head in pain, while his Cyber End howled even more.

Memory Fragment

(Normal POV)

Ryo found himself floating above warehouse at some king of Island in Spirit Form. Usually, this experiance would confuse him, but with everything he experianced in his Life, from exhausting and mind breaking training at Academia, added with some incidents regarding Abandoned Dorm, he remained his usal stoic self. And yet, he was still curious where he was and why was he brought here.

Glancing down he saw that two kids, few years younger than himself were Dueling. Strangely, they wore uniforms resembling one that Academia issued to their students. One the right, in Osiris jacket was a kurobh haired youth. He had brown eyes, wore white jeans and black undershit under his Standard Osiris jacket.

"That kid... Looks like Yuki Jason." Kaiser noted.

Upon noticing other Duelist, his eyes widened in shock. It was him. He wore Standard Obelisk Blue uniform with a more pronounced collar, tighter-bound sleeves, and pointed rims coming out the costume's lower back.

"What's going on?!" He thought aloud. "Why am I there?"

He had Cyber Twin Dragon on his Field, whole other kid had some kind of Fusion Monster in Defense Position.

Another perculiar detail was their Duel Disk. They were really old fashioned with five Monster and Spell/Trap Card Zones. It had a blue circle on top and only it's top half was extending.

"I draw." Kaiser began. "Time has come. This is my second turn ever since my Time Capsule activated!"

Ground shook as coffin/capsule came out of it and bursted, showing a single cards that Ryo added to his Hand.

"Judai... It would seem that we reached the end at last." Kaiser adressed kuriboh haired boy.

"Judai?" Kaiser (ARC-V) repeated.

"Yea." Boy nodded with a goofy smile. "I'm so pumped for what's going to happen!"

"I'm sure you are. You have shown me the outmost of your capabilities and I too have given my all against you. I have to give your Dueling the respects it deserves." Ryo said with a geniune smile.

"Respect?" Ryo (ARC-V) scoffed. "How childish. He looks like me, but acts completely different."

"Onii-san, approves approves Aniki's Duel?" Blue haired boy with round glasses thought.

"Kaiser... It seems that you are directing your words to Sho..." Judai smirked.

"Sho..." Ryo (ARC-V) muttered at seeing his younger brother...

"That's right..." Sho continued. "Big Bro Duels by considering his opponents and dealing with any and all possibilities." His expression droped. "In my Duel I mocked my opponent and overestimated my abilities and my cards. I Dueled with complete disregard of my opponent."

Ryo (ARC-V) choose to completely ignored his brothers words.

"Here I come Judai!"

"Bring it!"

"From my Hand I activate De-Fusion, thus spliting my Twin Dragon in his Original Forms."

Two Cyber Dragons appeared on Ryo's Field.

"Then, from my Hand I activate Spell Power Bond!"

"This card can be used for Fusion Summon of Machine-Type Monster!" He explaiend as third Cyber Dragon appeared in middle of other two. "As such, I fuse my three Cyber Dragons."

"To Summon my Cyber End Dragon in Attack Mode!"

"Due to Power Bonds effect, it's Attack is Doubled!"

ATK: 4000-8000 / DEF: 2800 (LV: 10)

"No way..." Chubby boy of the group cried in suprise.

"When Cyber End battles a Monster in Defense Position, it inflict's Piercing Damage to my opponent."

"Hang in there Judai!" Chubby guy encouraged him. "If you survive this turn, other effect of Power Bond will finish him off."

As answer Kaiser nodded with a smile of his own and walked away.

(Jason's POV)

"Yo..." I called out to him and he shook hi head violently. "Earth to Hell Kaiser. It's your move."

He grabed his head, seemingly in pain. "What did you do to me?"

"I didn't do anything!" I defended at seeing him glaring at me.

"No... We were Dueling at docks, I defeated you..."

"Docks..." I exhanged 'looks' with Neos and Dark Panther. "I'm not buying your bullshit. Make your move already."

"Watch your language you little runt." He spat with venom in his voice. "I place a face down and activate Cyber Repeir Plant! It activates only when I have Cyber Dragon in my Graveyard. Usually, I would only be able to activate one of two effects, but since I control three Cyber Dragons in my Graveyard, I can activate both of them in sequance."

"First, I add one Light Machine-Type Monster from my Deck to my Hand and with second effect, I can shuffle one Light Machine-Type." Cards from his Deck and Graveyard poped up respectivly, with him shuffling the latter in his Deck. "I shuffle Cyber Dragon Core and then add Cyber Supporter to my Hand."

Neos jumped into air and went towards mechanical beast that charged his energy for a counterattack.

"Since my Light Attributed Monster battles, it gains Attack equal to Monster it battles." I explained. "So those 4000 Attack from your Cyber End are mine!"

"You were too careless..." He activated his reversed card. "Draining Shield!"

I clicked my toungue upon seeing green barrier from the Trap protecting Kaiser's Ace Monster.

"I can negate Neos attack and then recover Life equal to his Attack Points." He was covered in green aura as his Life jumped to 7350.

"To think that you even had that prepared. You really are great, Kaiser."

"You're not bad yourself." Small smile formed on corner of his lips.

I looked at my face down. "It will do for now. I end my turn."

"My turn." As soon as he drew, Future Fusion began glowing brightly. "Two turn have passed, Cyberdarkness Dragon now descendes!"

Hurricane surrounded Ryo's Field as his new Cyberdark showed itself. It looked like it regular self, only with extra attachments of Cyberdark Cannon and Cyberdark Claw.

"I don't know..." I crossed my arms as I observed his Monster. "For a Fusion Monster that recquires five materials, I expected something more than 2000 Attack."

"That will soon change." He declared. "Cyberdarkness Dragon effect activates! When this card is Special Summoned, I can attach one Dragon or Machine-Type Monster from my Graveyard to it."

"Big deal you still don't have..." My eyes widened when I remembered one Dragon that rested in his Graveyard.

"By your expression, I guess that you remember." He had a sly smile on his face as Cyberdarkness tenticles pulled out a certain dragon with five heads from the ground, wraping itself around it.

"I Equip him with Five GOD Dragon, increasing his Attack by 5000!"

"Oh great..." I muttered, taking a step back at seeing that Monsters Attack.

"Cyberdarkness Dragon, destroy his pathetic Monster! Darkness Mega Burst!"

Darkness Dragon let out a ear schreching howl that came towards my Neo-Spacian. I jumped on floating platform and grabed an Action Card resting there, but was dissapointed by it.

I looked at Dark Panther sympatheticly. "Sorry..."

"Do not worry about me kid! Just win!" He encouraged me.

"I activate Action Spell Damage Banish!" Attack connected and destroyed my Monster. "All Battle Damage I would normally take is negated."

"Oh..." He looked interested. "So those are Action Cards? Lancers strongest weapon against Academia. No matter, it still won't save you from my next attack."

Cyber End growled as it stared down at Neos, preparing to strike it down. "Eternal Evolution Burst!"

I pressed a button on my Duel Disk just before attack connected. "I activate Card Defense." I placed a card in my Graveyard. "I discard one card, negate your attack and then draw an extra card from my Deck."

"That won't work!" He shouted. "Cyberdarkness Dragon effect activates! When you activate Card or a Effect, I can send one Equip Card I control to the Graveyard, negate activation and destroy it!"

His Cyberdark let out a tremendous roar that shattered windows on nearby buildings, sending shards of glass towards us. My card got destroyed and Cyber Ends attack connected.

"NEOSS!" I screamed as the attack sent me back into a nearby wall.

I struggled to get up to my feet. I coughed up some blood and my entire body was screaming from pain that it's been put through in last couple hours. I looked up only to see Ryo holding an Action Card.

"Not what I expected, but it will suffice." He commented. "I activate Action Spell: Life Cutter. Just like it's name suggestes, it cuts your Life Points in half."

"AAARGHHHHHHH!"

Electrical wave went through my body, reducing my Life Points to mere 150. I couldn't continue... God knows I tried. My ankle is a mess, I had burned forearm and probably mild concussion. Heh... Quite ironic since I caused that Secirity Officer one when I took his D-Wheel.

"This is the best you amount to?!" He yelled in a mocked tone. "Pathetic! I will give you credit for giving me more of a challenge than most people in Academia and Pro League did, but this was utterly dissapointing, cinsidering your status. To think that Obelisk Force and Yuri of all people couldn't bring you down. I guess that this is all your 'bonds' and 'friendship' are capable of."

"I end it with a reversed card." He looked at me. "And by your condition, so are you."

"Don't make me laugh..." I stumbled on my feet, barely managing to keep balance. "I won't give up."

"Hmph... You have guts kid, I'll give you that."

"All my talk about turning it around... Easier said than done." I looked at my current Hand. "Polymerization and Avain... These can't help me right now. If I don't draw the right card I'm a goner. What should I do?!"

A loud sound of motor was heared behind me and it was approching towards my direction rapidly.

A white round shaped D-Wheel jumped high in the air.

Driver had purple eyes and wore usual white Riding Duel Uniform. However, this one was more extravagant than the one I've seen before. Top portion of the suit closely resembles a white trench coat, with a slightly smaller collar, an undersuit of the same material underneath. He wore full gloves, and no spikes on the shoulder pauldrons.

"King will not allow you to lose!" He yelled in a firm tone as computerised voice began speaking from his Duel Disk.

With a screeching sound of tires on concrete floor, his D-Wheel came to a halt in front of me, while electricity still surrounded him from intrusion.

"Leave it to me." He told me as he turned to Kaiser. "You are associated with those people from Academia that Akaba Reiki spoke off?"

"That would be me." Kaiser confirmed. "I must say that I'm quite suprised. I never expected for Synchro Dimension Duel King to arrive here."

"I'm Lancers ally." He stated before opening eyes and glaring at Top Student at Academia. "As such you will be stoped here!"

"I draw!" Synchro Dimension King began and placed the drawn card in his Hand, before taking another one. "When I control no Monsters, I can Special Summon this card. Come! Red Gargoyle!"

"Now I Normal Summon Tuner Monster, Boost Resonator."

Small resonator Monster in blue robes and huge letter "B" on his torso appeared.

"Boost Resonator is always treated as 'Red' Monster." He explained.

"Tuner Monster... That is to be expected from Synchro Dimension Duelist, but according to our data, your Ace Monster is a Level 8 Synchro, so you won't be able to Summon it with those Materials."

"Data, eh..." Jack had a disgusted look on his face. "To use such chep methods to spy on other people strategies... You don't have any shame as a Duelist, do you?"

"I'm just well informed." Kaiser calmly retored.

"In that case, you should know effect of my Gargoyle." Jack said, as Kaiser raised his brow. "When I Normal or Special Summon a Red Monster, I can double it's Level."

Boost Resonator's Level jumped to 4.

"Prepare yourself! I tune my Level 4 Red Gargoyle to my Level 4 Boost Resonator!"

Booster Resonator clicked his two small tuning forks and turned into four Synchro Rings, followed by Red Gargoyle that went through them, turning into four white spheres.

"The heaven and earth shall tremble before the king's might. Let the power of the one and only supreme ruler be carved into your soul! Synchro Summon! The savage soul, Red Daemon's Dragon Scarlight!"

In a wave of fire, Red Deamons appeared and stood behind his master.

"3000 Attack... This can be problematic..." Ryo muttered.

"Synchro Monster that was Summoned using Boost Resonator as Synchro Material gains an Attack increase of 1000 for this turn." Red Deamons was covered in a blue aura for a brief moment as his Attack got higher.

ATK: 3000-4000 / DEF: 2500 (LV: 8)

"And with that destruction effect he carries..." I noted.

"Once per turn Red Daemon's Dragon Scarlight can destroy all Special Summoned Monsters with Attack equal or else to his own, except himself. And for each one, he can deal you 500 Points of Damage! ABSOLUTE POWER FLAME!"

Red Deamons punched the ground as wave of fire followed that enveloped both Cyber End and Cyberdarkness Dragon.

"I activate a Trap Cyber Armor! For this turn only, I can equip this card to my Cyber End and not only does he gain 500 Attack, but it can't be destroyed by Battle or Card Effects."

I remembered that I'm still a part of this Duel, so I mustered all my strenght that I had and grabed a nearby Action Card. "Acceleration. I'm safe from Effect Damage."

While Cyberdarkness Dragon got sent to the Graveyard, purple aura surrounded Cyber End, increasing his Attack to 4500 and protecting it from destruction.

"However, I can still Damage you!" Jack reminded Kaiser. "Battle! I attack your Cyber End Dragon with my Red Daemon's Dragon Scarlight! Inferno Crimson Hell Burning!"

Torent of flame bursted out of Red Daemon's mouth and went straight towards three headed hydra.

"From my Hand, I discard Red Sage." An old man in black and red robes covered in fire appeared. "By sending this card to my Graveyard, one Red Monster I control gains Attack equal to Monster it battles during Damage Calculation only!"

Red Deamons skin got litearlly transformed into a molten lava from sudden Attack increase.

ATK: 4000-8500/ DEF: 2500 (LV: 8)

"Wow..." I watched wide-eyed.

"8500!?"

Inferno Crimson Hell Burning attack connected to his Cyber End, creating a huge explosion that took more than half of Kaiser's Life Points.

"I set three cards face down and end my turn." He ended. "Boost Resonator and Red Sage's effect ends, so Red Deamons Attack is reduced to normal."

"By banishing Cyberdark Blast from my Graveyard, I can add one Cyberdark Spell/Trap from my Deck or Graveyard to my Hand." Card poped out of his Deck. "I add Cyberdark Impact."

"Now I activate it! From my Hand, Field and/or Graveyard I shuffle Cyberdark Horn, Cyberdark Edge and Cyberdark Keel back to my Deck." All three of his Monsters swirled in a Fusion Vortex.

"Three dragons of Cyber Legacy, become one to unleash your true might! Fusion Summon! Appear! Cyberdark Dragon!"

Original Cyberdark appeared with attachments of Keel, Edge and Horn.

"For every Monster resting in the Graveyard, my Cyberdark Dragon's Attack increases by 100. I have Cyberdark Claws two Cyberdark Cannons, three Cyber Dragons, Cybernetic Kaiser, Cyber Kirin. Eight in total so his Attack is at 1800.

"Furthemore, when Summoned, Cyberdark Dragon can equip one Dragon-Type Monster in my Graveyard to it and drain it of his Attack Points. I equip Five GOD Dragon!"

"Battle! Cyberdark Dragon attack his Red Deamons! Full Darkness Burst!"

Cyberdark roared loudly, sending shock waves towards Jack's Ace Monster.

"Don't insult me!" Jack yelled, as one of his face down's revealed itself. "You have to to better than that to stop me. I activate Red Vortex!"

Vortex of fire enveloped Red Deamons and protected him from Cyberdarks's Attack.

"Not only does this card negate any Battle Damage, but Red Monster that I select can't be destroyed as a result of Battle!"

Ryo frowned when he saw his Attack deflected. "Tch... You really are persistant... I end my turn by placing one face down." Another reversed card appeared next to his first one.

"Will you manage?" Jack adressed me and I nodded.

"Yea. Thank you for the safe, by the way." I drew my card. "I activate Fusion Treasure. For every Fusion Monster on the Field, I draw that many cards +1." With his Cyber End and Cyberdark, I drew three new cards.

"I banish Elemental Hero Necro Ghoul from my Graveyard." I took a card and placed it in Banished Compartment. "I can Banish this card and then draw one card. Not only that, but I can negate effects of all Monsters on my opponents Field!"

"Action Spell Edurance." Jack exclaimed. " I can select one Monster on my Field and it is unnafected by opponents Card Effects for this turn. I choose my Red Deamons!"

I looked at Jack's Ace Monster thst was protected by transparent barrier.

"Meanwhile, your Cyberdark will lose all of its Special Ability, including that major Attack boost you were so proud of."

Necro Ghoul appeared in ghost form and unleashed dark aura at Kaiser's two Monsters.

"You sneaky little..." Ryo grunted.

"Kaiser!" I called out to him. "Let's settle this."

Cue Judai Theme.

"I activate Polymerization!" Fusion Vortex appeared behind me. "I fuse Avian and Burstinatrix!"

"Hero of wind, become one with elegent warrior of fire to create a new power!" I chanted. "Fusion Summon! Come forth! My favorite Hero! Elemental Hero Flame Wingman!"

ATK: 2100 / DEF: 1200 (LV: 6)

"By sending Honesty Neos to Graveyard, my Flame Wingman gains 2500 Attack until the End Phase."

ATK: 2100-4600 / DEF: 1200 (LV: 6)

"4600..." Ryo took a step back.

"Battle!" Wingman soared high in the sky and looked down on Cyber End, while a torrent of fire surrounded his body. "Flame Wingman, attack his Cyber End Dragon! Flame Shoot!"

Gathering all of its power, Flame Wingman began descending towards mechanical dragon at extreamly high speed, while being covered in armor of fire.

"Not yet!" He yelled. "I activate my Quick-Play Limiter Removal! Attack of one of all my Machine-Type Monsters is doubled!"

ATK: 4000-8000 / DEF: 2800 (LV: 10)

"Counter Trap!" Jack arbutly interrupted from his D-Wheel. "Red Vanish! I have to have Red Monster to activate this card. When Spell or Trap Card is activated, I can negate the activation and destroy it!"

His card shattered, reducing Cyber Ends Attack back to 4000.

"Thanks a bunch Jack!" I smiled and he nodded before I turned back to Kaiser. "Finish him off Flame Wingman!"

"From my Hand, I discard my Cyber Suporter to activate his effect." Smaller version of regualar Cyber Dragon wraped itself around Cyber Ends torso. "When Machine-Type Monster I control battles, I can discard this card and then it's Attack increases by 2100."

"Wrong again!" Jack smirked as he revealed his other face down. "I activate Red Shut! When you activate a Monster's Effect, it is negated and destroyed."

Cyber Supporter shattered into tiny bits, making Ryo growl. "Then half of it's Attack is reduced from your Life Points." Small fire balls rained down on Top Student of Duel Academia, reducing his Life Points to 1700, due to Cyber Supporter Attack being 2100.

"When Red Shut resolves, I can add one Red Monster from my Graveyard or Deck to my Hand." He took a card from his Deck. "I add Brutal Red!"

"And now, you don't have anything else to defend yourself from Wingman's Attack!" I reminded as Wingman's scortching fist connected with middle head of Cyber End.

"So it has come to this..." He reached to his Duel Disk and mine and Jack's eyes widened upon seeing that he has another face down ready.

"I activate my final Trap - Final Fusion! When my Monster battle opponent Monster, both of them are destroyed!"

"Then each player takes Damage equal to the combined Attack of the Battling Monsters."

Blinding light occured, covering Flame Wingman and Cyber End. It increased rapidly and both of our Monster exploded, pushing all three of us back into obvlivion.

Jack managed to maniver his D-Wheel to escape the explosion and uncoming debris that was falling from ruined building. Ryo his himself in the ally to escape shock waves that his Trap caused. I... Wasen't so lucky.

"Jason, look out!" Jack yelled as I picked myself up and noticed that building started to collapse.

"Oh, shit..."

Following and unberable pain, from there on, everything was a blur... I could only see Kasier fleeing away while holding his shoulder in pain and Jack desperately yelling my name.

An hour earlier - Entrance to City's Unerground

(Normal POV)

Sakaki Yuya was silently walking with two guards, ready to be escorted to Unerground Disposal Facility following his loss to Yuki Jason. Usually he would be terrified of idea that he has to spend his life doing Forced Labor for City that treats 99% of its population as crap, but he knew that he didn't have to worry about anything. They were fighting in a Dimensional War and he didn't have any plans to spend his life in this dump, neither one of his fellow Lancers did.

Despite all troubles that were caused, our young tomato couldn't help but smile. He lost Duel against his friend, but with his help, he finally managed to forge his own path and speak with his own words through Duel. He got obssesed with his father's words that he began copying him, which he didn't mean to. After his father dissapeared, his Dueling, alongside his pendant were everything that he had left from him.

"Enter, scum!" One of guards pushed Yuya, who flinched at the rough treatment.

"Don't worry guys..."

"Huh...?"

Yuya and two guards that were escorting him turned towards the voice. Pitch black fire surrounded them as figure slowly approched them.

"I will take care of him..."

"W-who are you?!" One of the guards fearfully asked.

Who indeed. They could tell that he's a male by his voice. He had messy brown hair, bangs closest to his face were positioned in front of the dragon mask he wore. Mash was all black with exception of blue eye-pieces and a red stone in the center of the forehead. As for his clothing, he wore a long dark green overcoat with gold trimmings on it. His iner layer was purple in color and he also wore black pants with matching black undershirt and shoes. What caught Yuya's eyes was his Duel Disk. He wore an all black Academia-issued Duel Disk.

"Listen pal." Second guard tried to act tough, but his expression could give him away anytime and anyday. "I don't know who you are, but if you leave now, we'll forgot this from ever happening! Don't make us use force..."

"Try it..." Individual calmly said.

In a blink of an eye, he appeared behind two guards that were paralyzed by fear. Yuya carefully took a step back and hit a nearby pillar.

"It would make my job so much more entertaining..." His eyes glew blue in color. "So TRY IT!"

Before they had a chance to defend themeself, both of the felt a immense pain coming from their chest. Their throat was overflowned with blood that driped down their face. Academia student pierced both of his hands that were covered in dark aura through their chest. They were helpless. They could just wait for sweet embrace of death. After few more seconds, with a large thud, they were no more.

"Nusiance..." He took Yuya's Duel Disk and threw it at him, which he caught.

"You...?" Entertainment Duelist muttered, unable to comprehand that someone could kill in such coldblood.

He looked at corpeses and to Yuya's intial suprise and disgust, they were burning. Smell of burning human flesh made Yuya nauseated and he had to cover his nose to prevent himself form hurling all over the floor.

"Sorry about that." He turned his attention toward Entermate Duelist as he glew brightly. "Let's change the scenary, shall we?"

Yuya covered his eyes to prevent himself from blinding light. After light deminished both of them were gone. Corpses of the guards vanished and fire got put out.

Security H.Q - Roget's Office

"What do you mean, he dissapeared?!"

Roget yelled at his scared worker that gulped hard at his boss' harsh tone.

"W-well..." He began. "Two guards that were assigned to escort Sakaki Yuya to Unerground vanished into thin air. We checked the security cameras and results are... Quite inhuman and demonic."

"Show me the footage." Director leaned into his chair and demanded, without any hint of worry.

Worker nodded and on the big screen was shown everything. From Academia student brutally killing the guards and Yuya and him dissapearing into bright light.

"To think that even Akaba Leo would dispatch a Duelist that is so heartless..." Roget thought, disgusted at the man's actions. "I heared about Fubuki Tenjoin, AKA Darkness or Nightshroud. He was a bright and cheereful student, but after incident at Abandoned Dorm... He changed into a Monster that could rival Yuri in terms of heartlessness."

"Prepare two other guards to escort loser of Serena and Yugo's Duel." He ordered him.

"What about Sakaki Yuya, Sir?"

"Send few Duel Chaser's to apprehand him."

"R-right." He bowed and quickly left the office.

Streets of Neo Domino City

"Woow!"

With a huge thud, Yuya fell of hard concrete floor, huriting his behind in the process. He got up and dusted himself, noticing that he wasen't at "Entrance to Hell" as Commons described City's Unerground. Insted he was in desolated streets of the City.

"Shall we?" Figure activated his Academia Duel Disk that was shaped as dragon wing.

"Judging by your Duel Disk, you're from Academia?" Yuya indirectly asked. "What's your name?"

"Oh, my. I'm sorry. Where are my manner." Figure coughed before speaking. "I have a lot of names, but I'm most commonly known as Nightshroud or Darkness."

Yuya stared at him before inwardly signing and activating his Duel Disk. "I guess that I don't have a choice."

"Before we began, I have to tell you conditions of this Duel."

Just then, same black flames as before surrounded both contestants, incircilig them.

"You see, this is a Shadow Duel."

Yuya's blood run cold when he heared that. "A Shadow Duel?"

"From your sudden expression, I guess that you realise what Shadow Duels are." He nonchantly said. "Good for you. Few people know of the coseot. You lose and your soul will be tortured for enternity, never being able to find peace again. Normally you would just die, but where is the fun in that?"

"Die..." Yuya worringly thought as he clinged to his pendant. "I know from Jason's Duel with Dark Valkyria and Kaibaman that these Shadow Duels are no joke. Despite that, I can't back away."

"Let's do this."

Yuya blinked as he looked at his Duel Disk, realising that Action Field isn't activating. He looked at Darkenss for an answer.

"You really thought that I would let you rely on some convinient in this Duel?!" Darkness asked in a harsh tone. "If you don't have what it takes to win with your own strenght, then you don't have any right to call yourself a Duelist!"

"No matter... I will win for sure."

"DUEL!"

"I will start." You looked over his Hand. "I Summon Entermate Odd-Eyes Sorcerer."

Monster in red robes with red and green orbs around his body appeared. Just like Odd-Eyes, it had heteromanic eyes. He carried a staff with swirling serpen-like dragon on top of it and had a golden medalion aroudn his neck.

"Entermate Odd-Eyes Sorcerer effect now activates!" Yuya spoke up as he waved his staff. Transparent image of Odd-Eyes appared on Yuya's Field and striekd Darkness that seemed unfased by attack, despite Damgmage becoming real.

"Turning your disavantage into advantage... Impressive."

"I end my turn with one face down." Yuya finished.

"That Damage that he recived from Odd-Eyes Sorcerer's effect... No doubt about it... It was real. And he brushed it off like nothing happened. Just who is this guy?" Yuya thought, sweat forming on his forehead

"My move." Darkness added a card to his Hand. "By discarding one Monster Card, I activate One for One! With this I can Special Summon one Level 1 Monster from my Deck. As such, I Summon Black Stone of Legend!"

Small black egg-like Monster rose up.

ATK: 0000 / DEF: 0000 (LV: 1)

"0 Attack?" Yuya noted. "I'm suspecting that there is something more to it."

"And you would be right." Darkness confirmed. "I can sacrifice Black Stone of Legends to Special Summon it's adult form from my Deck!"

"From Deck?" Yuya was taken aback.

Egg-like Monster vanished into sparkles and a molten lava appeared behind Academai Duelist.

"Say hello to Red-Eyes Black Dragon!"

With a roar, lava disperssed, showing a black dragon with pair of large wings with number of its spikes coming from it's body. Like its name suggests, it had red eyes.

"R-Red-Eyes..." Yuya watched the Monster in awe, as he remembered a lecture Jason gave to You Show after his Duel with Kaibaman.

Flashback

"And that concludes lecture about three Egyptian Gods..."

Jaston stood in front of entire class, which consistent of 6 people (7 if you include Principal that was standing on corner of the room, writing on paper every peace of infromation that was provided).

"So, these God Cards choose person that will wield them?" Yuzu asked.

"Yuzu I will not repeat myself." He furiously pointed with his ruler towards pink haired girl. "If you want to ask a question, raise your hand."

"Mou..." Yuzu pounted and raised her hand as Jason allowed her to speak. "These God Cards choose their owner?"

"Pretty much." Jason confirmed. "If a person that isn't choosed by the Gods tried to play one, they will..."

Jason looked at three kids before answering. "Bite the dust."

"How can you bite the dust?" Ayu wondered. "That's gross."

"Imagine if Sawatari plays one of them." Yuya spoke, earning snickers from Yuzu, Sora and Jason.

"Now that would be funny to watch." Sora agreed, licking his lolipop. "So about what cards are we going to learn next?"

Jason put a finger on his chin in a thoughtful manner. "Have you heared about Red-Eyes?"

All of them shook their heads in denial, but Sora stiffed at the mention of the card, which didn't go unoticed by Jason.

"Sora?"

"S-sorry." Boy rubbed back of his head in a sheepish manner. "I remembered that I did in fact encountered one crazy Duelist at my old school that used Red-Eyes cards."

"Was he strong?" Tatsuya asked.

"I bet that he could deliver all kinds of shivers." Futoshi added in his usual creepy/enthusiastic manner.

"I rather wouldn't talk about it..." Sora waved his hands. "That was just a bad memory for me and I really don't want to re-live it again."

"Whatever you say Sora..." Yuya shurgged and turned to Jason. "So what about Red-Eyes?"

"Right." Jason nodded before drawing the picture of said Dragon, that wasen't very good. In fact, it was terrible. It looked like it came out of Cernobil. "I know that I draw lously, but I'm a Duelist, not a painter."

"Sure..." All You Show Crew laughed.

"Anyways, full name of the card is Red-Eyes Black Dragon. Like Blue-Eyes, it's a Normal Monster, but is a Level 7 with 2400 Attack and 2000 Defense."

Futoshi raised his hand and Jason let her speak. "So, it is weaker than Blue-Eyes White Dragon."

"It is." Jason confirmed. "But even if it's weaker, you shouldn't underestimate it if you ever face it. It was stated that Blue-Eyes represents power while Red-Eyes represents potential."

"Potential?" Yuya asked after he was give permission by Jason to speak.

"That's right." Jason nodded. "This is more or less true, as while Blue-Eyes focuses mainly on being a Beatstick, and overwheliming your opponents with sheer power, Red-Eyes focuses more on being flexible with certain Decks and inflicts Burn Damage. So even if it isn't powerfull in terms of his stats, it can be really tough to beat, so yoy should be carefull if you ever face it."

"So that's Blue-Eyes counterpart..." Yuya thought. "If it's as tricky as Jason said, this could be a problem, expecially if he goes with Burn Strategy. And that Duelist that Sora mentioned... Could this be him?"

"I activate Spell Card Inferno Fire Blast!" Darkness slid his card in Duel Disk. "You are not only one that can deal Burn Damage. By preventing Red-Eyes from attacking this turn, I can inflict Damage to you equal to it's Attack!"

Yuya's eyes widened as Red-Eyes gathered red fireball in his mouth and blasted it straing at him. He could feal his clothes riping apart and hot sensation on his body as his Life Points decreased to 1600. He fell to his knees, barely trying to keep himself from collapsing.

"To think... That it would hurt so much..." Tomato stammered between his breaths.

"Don't tell me that you give up already." He placed his card face down. "You do want to save that Yuzu girl, right?"

Yuya glared at him, but he just shrugged it off.

Yuya: 1600 LP x4

"I... Draw..." Yuya began weakly, geting up to his feet. "I activate effect of Odd-Eyes Sorcerer once again. I send my Level 7 Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon to inflict 700 Points of Damage to you."

Ghostly image of Saber Dragon roared at headed straight towards Red-Eyes Duelist. Despite the assault, he remained unfased.

"Seriously..." Yuya watched in disbelief. "Doesn't that hurt?"

"I got used to it." He replied. "Worry about yourself."

"If you say so..." Yuya revealed his face down. "I activate Pendulum Reborn! As it name suggests, I can Summon one Pendulum Monster from my Graveyard! Revive! Wondrous and beautiful dichromatic eyes! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!"

Odd-Eyes stood next to his Sorrcerer counterpart.

ATK: 2500 / DEF: 2000 (LV: 7)

"Odd-Eyes..." Yuya looked at his Dragon in worry as he expressed a huge amount of anger that was directed towards Darkness.

Man in question lust watched with a small grin plastered on his face.

"Let the true test... Begin."

"I attack your Red-Eyes with my Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" He declared as torrent of crimson fire got send towards Black Dragon. When attack connected, Odd-Eyes green and red orbs lit up. "When Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon battles Level 7 or higher Monster, it deals you Double Damage! Reaction Force!"

Fire that was genereted from Odd-Eyes mouth increased and destroyed Red-Eyes, inflicting 200 Damage to Darkness.

"And that's game." Darkness arbutly stated as he reached towards his face down. "You were to hastly. By now, you must have realised that my Red-Eyes excelles at dealing his opponent Burn Damage."

"What are you..." Yuya widened his eyes as he saw face down card.

"I activate Red-Eyes Burn. When you destroy a Red-Eyes Monster I can target it and then deal Damage to you equal to its Attack."

Red-Eyes appeared once more and cracks appeared on his body, emitating red light. It exploded and shock wave dangerously approched Yuya.

"No..." Yuya's eyes flashed purple as he gritted his teeth and raised up his hand to shield himself from explosion. "I won't lose to Academia scum!"

"I activate effect of my Entermate Rain Goat!" Yuya declared, sliding a card to his Graveyard as goat covered in light green robe with yellow star on its side appeared, asorbing energy caused from Darkness Trap.

"When I would take Effect Damage, I can send this card to Graveyard insted!" Yuya was protected, while energy dissvolved into tiny particles.

"Nice save... I will give you that."

"Entermate Odd-Eyes Sorcerer attack him directly and end this!" He raised up his staff and blasted red beam of energy towards him.

"Don't get cocky." He calmly retored as his Graveyard shone and a card came out of it, which he placed in Banished Compartment. "By banishing Necro Gardna from my Graveyard, I can negate attack of one of your Monsters."

"Tch..." Yuya grunted upon seeing a long haired warrior blocking his attack.

"I end my turn with one face down."

"I guess that I have to get serious..." He calmly said as he drew his card.

"He would inflict 4800 in total if I didn't stop him second time and he wasen't being serious..." Yuya sweated nervously. "How good is this guy?"

"I activate Red-Eyes Trade. I discard one Red-Eyes Monster and draw two cards from my Deck. I discard Red Wyvern as a cost."

"I activate Red-Eyes Fusion." Purple and red Fusion Vortex appeared. "I can Fusion Summon a Monster that lists 'Red-Eyes' as Material by sending necessary Materials from my Hand, Field and even Deck."

"From Deck?!" Yuya exclaimed, shock and suprise evident on his face and voice

"I fuse Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon and Meteor Dragon Red-Eyes Impact!"

Monster that resembled regular Red-Eyes only covered in fire and small dragon with body covered in fire swirled in a Fusion Vortex.

"Dragon with red-eyes, become one with flaming dragon from heavens and show us your true potential!" Darkness chanted. "Fusion Summon! Come forth Meteor Black Comet Dragon!"

Huge flaming meteorite began descending towards Darkness Field and large one hit the ground behind him. With a loud roar a huge dragon, twice the size of regular Red-Eyes appeared. It was covered from head to toe in a molten lava with large, spiky wi gs and a long tail.

ATK: 3500 / DEF: 2000 (LV: 9)

"3500 Attack?"

"And it get's even better." He smirked as he slid a card from his Deck to Graveyard. "I can send one Red-Eyes Monster from my Deck to inflict Damage to you equal to half of its Original Attack! I send my 2400 Attack Red-Eyes!"

Meteor Black Comet Dragon roared as his downgraded counterpart appeared on the Field, leting out a load howling as it crashed into Yuya, inflicting him 1200 Points of Damage. Entertainmet Duelist let out a cry of pain, as he stumbled back onto the floor, with blood driping from corner of his mouth.

"Battle! I attack that annoying Entermate Odd-Eyes Sorrcerer with my Meteor Black Comet Dragon. Inferno Heat Meteor!"

Comet fireball gathered in Fusion Monster's mouth as it got launched towards defensless Spellcaster. It screamed as it got destroyed the moment attack connected.

"It is done..."

Darkness frowned when he saw Yuya still standing. His jacket was blown away and his supposingly destroyed Monster was in a blue pillar.

"I don't take any Battle Damage from attack's involving my Odd-Eyes Sorrcerer." He explained. "And when this card is destroyed, I draw one card and then place Sorrcerer in my Pendulum Zone."

"So you held on by skin of your teeth..." He set a card. "Your move. That is, if you have any strenght to make it..."

"Belive me, I have plenty of fire power left...

"My move, I draw." Yuya added a card to his Hand and place it on his Duel Blade "I Summon Entermate Trump Girl."

ATK: 200 / DEF: 200 (LV: 2)

"Effect of Trump Girl activates!" Yiya stated. "I can Fusion Summon by using this card and my Odd-Eyes as Materials!"

Both of them entered a Fusion Vortex as Yuya began to chant.

"Sorcerer with unlimitless potential, become one with Dragon with dual colored eyes and create new power!" Yuya clasoed his hands together. "Fusion Summon! Come forth, Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon!"

Odd-Eyes in green armor with dark blue orb in middle of his chest appeared.

ATK: 2500 / DEF: 2000 (LV: 7)

"When Vortex Dragon is Special Summoned, I can shuffle one Attack Position Monster you control back to the Deck." He pointed at Darkenss Fusion Monster. "My obvious choice is your Meteor Black Comet Dragon!"

Gust of green wind was unleashed from Odd-Eyes wings that enveloped Darkness Monster.

"I activate my Trap Fiendish Chain!" Darkness arbutly interrupted. "I can target your Monster and negate it's effect!"

"Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon effect activates!" Yuya declared as gust of wind pierced through Fiendish Chain. "I can shuffle one face up Pendulum Monster in my Extra Deck and then negate activation of your Spell, Trap or Monster Effect and destroy it!"

"Nasty effect..." Darkness commented.

"My Odd-Eyes effect resumes!"

Comet Dragon let out a cry of pain, as it was forced to return to Extra Deck.

"Battle!" Yuya pointed at his enemy. "Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon, finish him off!"

Red and green spiral of fire was unleashed towards Academia Duelist who smirked in response.

"My, my... Hasty, aren't we. I activate my Trap Red-Eyes Spirit! I can target one Red-Eyes Monster in the Graveyard and Special Summon it! Come forth - Red-Eyes Flare Dragon!"

His Monster appeared in Defense Mode.

ATK: 2400 / DEF: 2000 (LV: 7)

"Then it will be destroyed!"

Beam connected with Gemine Monster, that got blown to bits as a result.

"From my Hand, I activate effect of my Red-Eyes Retro Dragon!" Darkness quickly placed a card on his Duel Disk, as minature version of Red-Eyes with black body and several red streaks on its body appeared in Defense Mode.

ATK: 1700 / DEF: 1600 (LV: 4)

"When Red-Eyes Monster is destroyed by Battle or Card Effect, I can Special Summon this card from my Hand." He began explaining as Flare Dragon re-appeared again in Defense Mode. "Then I can Special Summon all Red-Eyes Monsters that got destroyed this way back in their original Battle Position."

"He even managed to do that... He really is good."

"I activate Continous Spell Entermate Paralyzer." Card showed image of Turn Toad being protected from Volcanic Buckshot. "When this card is activated I can draw a card from my Deck."

Yuya looked at his card before speaking up. "I end my turn."

Yuya: 400 LP x3

Darkness: 2400 LP x1

"With him still having a Pendulum Monster in his Extra Deck, I have to be carefull about which cards I want to activate."

"I play Red Greed. I can target my Retro Dragon, but for this turn it has it effects negated.." Glow around his Monster deminished. "But I can draw cards equal to its Level." He drew four more cards.

"I Gemini Summon my Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon." Circle of fire formed around his Monster, making Yuya confused.

"Gemini...?"

"You will find out soon enough." He coldly said as he proceeded with his move. "I activate Spell Hammer Shot. With this card I can destroy one Monster you control with highest Attack. Seeing that you have only one, I don't have to overthink my decision."

"He is bating me..." Yuya thought with a smirk. "And yet, I have to react to this, but not in a way he thinks."

"Entermate Odd-Eyes Sorrcerer effect activates!" Yuya stated as red barrier appeared in front of Vortex Dragon, protecting him from destruction.

"All Entermate, Odd-Eyes and Magician Monster I control cannot be destroyed by Card Effects."

"So you were even prepared for that, huh... No matter, my plan is far from finished."

"From my Hand, I equip my Black Metal Dragon to Red-Eyes Flare Dragon." Small metal dragon wraped himself around Gemini Dragon. "I can Equip this card to a Red-Eyes Monster and increase its Attack by 600."

"I activate Vortex Dragon's effect! I shuffle my Odd-Eyes back to my Deck to negate activation of your Monster and destroy it!"

In instant, Metal Dragon glew in bright green light, before dissapearing into particles.

"You really are stubborn..." Darkness growled, before smiling. "No matter. I have another back-up plan. Several of them in fact."

"I activate effect of Black Stone of Legends from my Graveyard." Two cards poped out of his Graveyard with him placing one in his Hand an other one got shuffled back into his Deck. "By targeting my Meteor Dragon Red-Eyes Impact, I can shuffle it in my Deck and add Black Stone to my Hand."

"So you can just Summon him or any other possible Red-Eyes with your Black Stone's effect?" Yuya speculated.

"Sadly no." Darkness answered and Yuya raised his brow as a response. "I can only use one effect of Black Stone of Legends per turn. However, I stil have one card that could help me in this situation"

"I equip Red-Eyes Lanstar to my Flare Dragon!" Small warrior with a sword rode on Flare Dragon's back. "By equiping this card to a Red-Eyes Monster I control, I can increase it's Attack by 400."

ATK: 2400-2800 / DEF: 2000 (LV: 7)

"I change my Retro Dragon to Attack Mode. Rise up!" Darkness commanded as his Monster did as it was told.

"Battle! Flare Metal Dragon, destroy his Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon! Flare Fire Blast!"

Red-Eyes shooted a torent of fire that enveloped Yuya's Fusion Dragon and destroyed it, making Yuya flinch from all the pain he recived. He looked at his Duel Disk and noticed that he only has 100 Life Poins left.

"Red-Eyes Retro Dragon end him now!" Another wave of fire was shooted at Yuya, who was well prepared for this.

"I activate my Trap Dragon Shield!" Silouthouse of Odd-Eyes appeared and protected his owner. "When you declare Direct Attack, that attack is negated and then Battle Phase automaticly ends. Then I can add one Level 7 or lower Dragon-Type Monster from my Graveyard. I add my Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon."

"Not bad... But with Battle Phase end comes Red-Eyes Flare Dragon Monster Effect!" He continued as another identical figure as Flare Dragon appeared only this one was covered in fire. "If Damage Calculation is performed involving this card, I can inflict you Damage equal to this cards Original Attack, which is 2400."

Flare Dragon's double roared loudly and went striaght towards Yuya.

"Oh shi..."

BOOOOMMMMM

Fire covered the area as Darkness smirked victoriously at seeing Yuya lying on the floor. What suprised him however, was his Life Point meter. It red 2500 which was impossible!

"Entermate... Paralyzer effect. First time when I would take Effect Damage, it is negated and then I draw one card." Yuya explained as he got back up to his feet. "Furthemore, as long as Paralyzer is face up on the Field, you can't deal me any Effect Damage."

"Tch..." He grunted. "Why did you recover Life then?"

"First time I would take Effect Damage, I gain that much Life Points insted." Yuya explained.

"I place a face down and end my turn." He concluded.

Darkness: 2400 LP x1

"My whole body hurts..." Yuya panted between his breaths. "But I can't give up now. Yuzu needs me. I have to win for her and for everyone across four Dimensions... I promised myself and everyone back home that we will return together and I intend to keep that promise."

"I... Draw!" Yuya shouted with his newfound determination, but froze when he saw the card he drew...

"Wings of..." Yuya's eyes keep widening when he red last part of the cards name. "The Supreme King."

Yuya stared at the card intensivly...

"Why do I have this card. I shouldn't have it. Even back then, when I Summoned Odd-Eyes Rebellion against Sora and Reiji, I called him Supreme King Black Dragon unitentionaly... What does that mean? Am I also involved into Supreme King's fiasco like Jason?"

He shook his head rapidly and placed the drawn card in his Hand, before taking another one.

"I place Scale 8 Entermate Odd-Eyes Unicorn in my right Pendulum Zone."

Word 'Pendulum' spread across Duel Disk as Sorcerer and Unicorn had numbers 2 and 8 below them in blue pillars respecivly.

"With this I can Summon Monsters from Level 2-7 simutaneously!" Holographic image of Yuya's pendant shone even brighter as it began swinging between his two Monsters.

Swing, Pendulum of Souls! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Appear now! My monsters!"

Two lights shooted out of Pendulum Portal and kanded in front of Yuya.

"Entermate Warrior Tiger and Dragon with Dual Colored eyes - Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!"

ATK: 2500 / DEF: 2000 (LV: 7)

"So that is infamous Pedulum Summon... Impressive."

"I attack your Red-Eyes Flare Dragon with Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Spiral Strike Burst!"

Odd-Eyes unleashed his trademark attack upon Darkness Monster.

"At this moment, Entermate Odd-Eyes Unicorn Pendulum Effect activates!" Said Monster, alongside Odd-Eyes and Warrior Tiger glew in unision. "When Odd-Eyes Monster declares an attack, it gains Attack equal to one Entermate Monster I control."

ATK: 2500-4200 / DEF: 2000 (LV: 7)

"I activate Negate Attack!" Darkness yelled as green barrier protected his Monster. "Your attack is negated and Battle Phase ends!"

I place a face down and end my turn." He concluded, stil feeling uneasy about Wings of Supreme King card.

Darkness: 2400 LP x2

"I have to push him even further to see his true power and for Professor to collect data on his Pendulum Summon. And since his Xyz Counterpart is fused into him, I know how to do it."

"I Normal Summon Black Stone of Legends!" Black egg appeared.

ATK: 0000 / DEF: 0000 (LV: 1)

"By releasing my Black Stone of Legends, I can Special Summon my second Red-Eyes Black Dragon from my Deck."

ATK: 2400 / DEF: 2000 (LV: 7)

"A second one..."

"But that is not all..." Darkness continued. "I activate Card of Demise. I draw until I have 5 cards in my Hand, but in 5 turns, I lose my entire Hand."

He smirked upon seeing the cards he drew.

"I activate Return of Dragon Lords." Small frozen statue of Red-Eyes appeared as cracks appeared around its body. "I can Special Summon one Level 7 or 8 Dragon-Type Monster from Graveyard. I Summon my original Red-Eyes Black Dragon!"

ATK: 2400 / DEF: 2000 (LV: 7)

"Duel Monster Quiz: I have two Monsters of the same Level on my Field. What do I do next?"

Yuya hardened his gaze. "You can't."

"Oh, but I will." He held up his Hand high in the air. "I Overlay my Level 7 Red-Eyes Black Dragon's!"

Both of his Dragon became purple stream of energy and entered newly formed Xyz Portal, creating a small explosion in the proces.

"Dragon with eyes of red with unlimitless potential, resurect from your slumber and eradicate your enemies with you metalic claws!" He chanted. "Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 7 - Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon!"

Red-Eyes covered in black, metalic, spiky armor appeared on the Field. His wings and tail generated as his claws were much sharper than in original.

ATK: 2800 / DEF: 2400 (RNK: 7)

"You..." Yuya growled as he synched with Yuto. "Dare to use Xyz, after your demolished our home!"

"Hey, we took everything from those weaklings, why not their Summoning Method as well." Darkness nonchantly shrugged.

"I attack your Odd-Eyes with my Red-Eyes Flare Dragon! Flare Fire Blast!"

Red-Eyes unleashed enigma of fire towards Yuya's Ace Monster. He quickly pressed a button on his Duel Disk to activate his face down.

"I activate Heavenly Gift!" Dark aura shaped in form of a Dragon appeared. "For this turn, Dragon-Type Monster cannot be destroyed and I don't take any Battle Damage from attacks involving them!"

Red-Eyes attack was deflected. "Then I draw a card if I control a Dragon-Type Monster."

"Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon effect would activate, causing you to lose 500 Life Points each time your Card Effect resolves, but your Entermate Paralyzer negates any Effect Damage dealt to you..." Darkness noted.

"Still, that Trap won't save your Entermate Monster, will it..." He pointed to Warrior Tiger. "I attack him with my Flare Metal Dragon! Inferno Dark Flare!"

Loud howl was heared as Flare Metal Dragon blasted crimson fire at defenseless Entermate Monster that got scortched to bits. Loud explosion occured that pushed Yuya a few feets back.

"I set two cards face down and end my turn."

Yuya's hair spikened up, as he clenched both of his fists.

"What's wrong? You must try harder if you want to defeat me and save your precious Yuzu." Darkness taunted him. "She could be hurting as we speak..."

"Yuzu..." Yuya's head rose, revealing his piercing red eyes glaring with every possible amount of murder intent towards him. "You will pay!"

Somewhere in the City

Yuri clenched his chest in pain as his heart beat increased rapidly.

"What's going on..." He wondered aloud as he took his Starve Venom that resonated.

Yugo was drving around the City, minding his own bussiness and searching for grining bastard when he too felt a burning sensation in his chest.

"What the..." His D-Wheel came to a halt and his Extra Deck compratment glew green. He took out his Ace Monster and looked at it. "Clear Wing... Synchro Dragon."

"I draw!" Yuya yelled, as dark aura around him began blowing ferociously.

"I Pendulum Summon!" Yuya declared as his pendant and eyes glew.

"Come forth!" Yuto yelled, in Awakened Mode.

"My Monster Servants!"

Upon Yuya's declaration, two lights shooted from Pendulum Portal.

"Entermate Hellprincess!"

"Entermate Swing Cobra!"

Yugo and Yuri yelled as small girl in purple costume appeared, followed by yellow snake on a swing.

ATK: 1200 / DEF: 1300 (LV: 4)

ATK: 300 / DEF: 1800 (LV: 4)

"With Level 4 Hellprincess..." Yuri started."

"And Swing Cobra..." Yugo carried on.

"I Overlay!" All four Yu boys yelled as their Monstered entered in a Xyz Portal, followed by loud explosion.

"From the pitch-black darkness." Yugo started.

"Rise up against the foolish oppression..." Yuri said. "Fang of Rebellion!"

"Descend now!" Yuto yelled.

"Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 4! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!"

Followed by Suimmon Chant performed ny Yu boys in synch, loud cackling of lighting could be heared as Dark Rebellion roared to the heavens.

ATK: 2500 / DEF: 2000 (RNK: 4)

"By detaching one Overlay Unit, Dark Rebellion can cut Attack of one Level 5 or higher Monster you control in half and then Dark Rebellion's own Attackis increased by same amount!" Yuto stated.

"Threason Discharge! Yugo and Yuri shouted.

Dark Rebellion spread out his wings as purple electricity came out of it and enveloped Red-Eyes Flare Dragon, droping his Attack to 1400 and increasing his own to 3900.

"Battle! Dark Rebellion, end his fake Xyz Monster!" Yuya commanded as Dark Rebellion sparkled with more electiricty and and obeyed. He lunged towards Flare Metal Dragon, piercing him through the chest,as more electricity came out of his body.

"I activate my Trap - Red-Eyes Reflection!" He suddenly spoke as one of his face downs revealed itself. "When I would take Battle Damage from battles involving a Red-Eyes Monster I control, I gain that much Life Points insted and my Monster can't be destroyed by that Battle."

Darkness Life rose to 6300, as Flare Metal Dragon held on to Dark Rebellion with both of his hands.

"Clever imitation!" Yuya yelled as he pointed at his Ace Monster.

"Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Lay waste to our enemies with your decromanic eyes!" Yuri yelled as Odd-Eyes charged his attack, reading it to be unleashed at weaker Flare Dragon.

"Spiraling Strike Burst!"

Odd-Eyes unleashed crimson fire towards Flare Dragon that got pushed down due to the force of attack.

"When Odd-Eyes battles Level 5 or higher Monster, the Damage he iflict is doubled!" Yugo stated as fire from Odd-Eyes mouth intensived.

"REACTION FORCE!" All 4 of them yelled as Red-Eyes got blow in buts, but not before Darkenss activated his face down.

"I activate Defense Draw! Battle Damage is negated and I draw an extra card." He explained. "When Red-Eyes Lanstar is send to Graveyard, I can target one Red-Eyes Spell/Trap in my Graveyard and add it to my Hand. I add Red-Eyes Fusion"

"I set a card and end my turn." He finished. "Dark Rebellion attack is reduced to normal."

{Intrusion Penalty: 2000 LP}

Darkness smirked as three Security jumped into fire circle and glared at Yuya, electiricty still suroundin their bodies.

"With the way kids is now, they are practically marching into their deaths." Darkness thought. "I'll allow intusion. Let's see how well they can hold up."

"Surrender now! Further resistance will be punishible!"

Yuya remained silent.

"Then you leave us no choice!" One of them stated as he drew his card.

"I will start." He began. "From my Hand I Summon Vigilante Zeni!"

Small warrior with a jutte in his hand and a hair tied in a ponytail appeared.

"By reducing Zeni's Attack to 0, I can Special Summon one Level 3 or lower Vigilante monster from your Hand. Come Vigilante Gata!"

Small police robot followed up after Zeni's Attack got reduced to 0.

ATK: 800 / DEF: 800 (LV: 3)

"I tine Level 4 Vigilante Zeni to my Level 3 Vigilante Gata!" He declared as his Tuner Monster turned into Synchro Rings, followed by Zeni that turned into four white spheres.

"Tear apart the dark fog of twisted doubt and unravel the truth! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Sniping Heiji Type-0!"

Following his chant, robotic warrior with a backback and jutte appeared.

ATK: 2400 / DEF: 2000 (LV: 7)

"I activate Sniping Heiji Type-0 effect!" He slid a card in his Graveyard as coins began raining down towards Dark Rebellion. "I discard onecard and destroy one Monster you control. Not only that, but 400 Points of Damage will be inflicted upon you?"

"You really think such a weak strategy will work against me?!" Yuya shouted as he activated his face down. "I activate my Continuous Trap Dragon Contender! As long as this card is face up on the Field, my Dragon-Type Monsters are unnafected by opponent Card Effects!"

Dark Rebellion roared and coins dissolved.

"You pesky little... I end my turn!"

"My turn!" Officer number two declared. "I Summon Jutte Lord!"

"Since I Summoned him, I can Special Summon another Jutte Monster from my Hand." He stated. "Come! Jutte Knight!"

Old man with hair tied in a ponytail and a jutte in his Hand appeared.

ATK: 700 / DEF: 900 (LV: 2)

"I tune my Level 4 Jutte Lord to my Level 2 Jutte Knight!"

Knight turned into two Synchro Rings and Lord went through it, creating a blinding green light that shooted outward.

Goyo Monster with blue catapult on his back appeared in Defense Mode.

ATK: 800 / DEF: 2800 (LV: 6)

"By discarding one card from my Hand, I can inflict you 600 Points of Damage."

Catapult shooted a blue energy towards Yuya, that remained unfased.

"Entermate Paralyzer effect!" He declared as transparent barrier shielded him from Effect Damage. "I don't take any Effect Damage as long as I control Entermate Card."

"Tch..." He grunted. "I end my turn."

"I will finish you." Third officer arrogantly stated. "I also Summon Jutte Lord."

Same Monster from before in old police uniform and jutte appeared.

"When this card is Summoned, I can Special Summon another Jutte Monster from my Hand. Come! Jutte Knight!"

ATK: 700 / DEF: 900 (LV: 2)

"I tune my Level 4 Jutte Lord with Level 2 Jutte Fighter!" He declared as regular Synchro Summon sequance took place.

"Synchro Summon!" He yelled. "Come on out! Goyo Guardian!"

Policeman with clowinsh make up, wielding a jutte with a rope tied at the end of it appeared.

ATK: 2800 / DEF: 2000 (LV: 6)

"If we cannot destroy your Monsters by Card Effects, the we'll have to settle this by Battle!" He pointed at Dark Rebellion. "Attack his Xyz Dragon!"

"Foolish." Yuya stated as his Dragon Contender glew brightly. "I activate Dragon Cotender secind effect. When you target a Dragon-Type Monster I control for Attack, I can draw one card. Then if it's a Dragon-Type Monster I can end the Battle Phase."

"You're kidding, right?" First Officer looked on in disbelief.

"You're going to bet it on some luck?" Second one added.

Yuya silently drew his card and looked at it, his face void of emotion which made all three Security nervous.

He broke out in a laughter. "I drew Dragon-Type Monster - Entermate Drago Remora. Battle Phase ends!"

Goyo Guardian retreated back to Security side.

"Unbelivible..."

"He survived through all our turns..."

"I... End my turn..." He sadly concluded.

Yuya turned to Darkenss, his anger building up inside of him even more.

"Your move... I don't have all day so make it quick."

"As you wish..."

"I draw!" He began. "I activate Spell Restriction Off! With this card, any effect that would prevent me from Summoning Monster this turn is negated."

"I detach one Overlay Unit from my Flare Metal Dragon to activate it's effect! I can Special Summon one Red-Eyes Normal Monster from my Graveyard and I'll return detached Red-Eyes Black Dragon!"

His Ace Monster appeared once again.

ATK: 2400 / DEF: 2000 (LV: 7)

"I activate my Red-Eyes Fusion!" Darkness exclaimed and took two more cards from his Hand and placed them in the Graveyard. "I fuse my third Red-Eyes from my Hand with Summoned Skull!"

"Ferocious Dragon with red eyes, become one with fiend that controls the lighting to evolve even further." He chanted. "Fusion Summon! Come on out! Archfiend Black Skull Dragon."

Dragon with Summoned Skulls head appeared. His body was covered in fire, soecificly his wings. He had claws like Red-Eyes, but his body resembled Summoned Skull.

ATK: 3200 / DEF: 2500 (LV: 9)

"W-what is that?" Security covered in fear.

"I send my Dragon Contender to Graveyard to activate its final effect!" Yuya unexpecidly spoke as his card bursted. "When you Special Summon a Monster, for this turn, you can't target Dragon-Type Monsters I control for attacks!"

"Are you serious?!" Darkness exclaimed in suprise as he looked at last card in his Hand. "I place a face down and end my turn with that."

"My..." Yuya's eyes glew brightly as he drew his card, creating a shock wave that pushed Security back. "Turn!"

I Summon Entermate Drago Ramora!" Chinesse golden dragon appeared between Odd-Eyes and Dark Rebellion, increasing their attack by 500.

ATK: 1700 / DEF: 1000 (LV: 4)

"While Drago Ramora is on the Field, all my Dragon-Type Monster gain 500 Attack." He explained. "As such both Odd-Eyes and Dark Rebellion have 3000."

"I activate my Spell Pendulum Catastrophe!" Yuto spoke through Yuya. "I destroy as many Pendulum Cards in each players Pendulum Zone as possible and add up to two Magician Pendulum Monsters from my Deck to my Hand!"

Yuya's Pendulum Scale blew up as he added two more cards from his Deck to Hand.

"With Scale 3 Destruction Magician and Scale 8 Creation Magician, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Said Magicians rose up behind him in pillars of light, as his Pendulum appeared between them.

"Magician of Destruction, who watches over contrast! Unite the stars under your sharp judgement! Magician of Destructions Pendulum Effect! I can target one XYZ monster on the field and have it gain a Level equal to its Rank! I grant the Rank 4 Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon a Level of 4!"

Said magician used its powers to make lights appear on its weapon, which lashed out and struck Dark Rebellion, as it roared once again.

"Magician of Creation who watches over harmony! Fill the heavens with stars using your arcane powers! Magician of Creations Pendulum Effect! Once per turn, I can target a monster and make it the same Level as another monster! I make Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon the same Level as Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon: 7!"

The female magician launched her two pronged arrow between the two, showering them with light. They began to glow purple and red respectively.

"Two Level 7's..." Darkness hardened his gaze.

"I Overlay my Level 7 Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon and Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!" Once again the spiralling black hole appeared and purple lights that were once Yuya's Monsters dove in.

"Dragon of dual-colored eyes. Unleash the black imperial wrath, and eradicate all opposing enemies!" Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 7! Dragon with eyes glowing with anger! The Supreme King Black Dragon - Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon!"

The massive Dragon appeared and roared to the heavens, creating an impromptu blizzard that blew all four other participants back.

ATK: 3000 / DEF: 2500 (RNK: 7)

"What... Power!" Security muttered.

"Due to Drago Ramora effect, it gains 500 more Attack Points." Yuri stated.

"When Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon is Summoned using Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon treated as a Level 7 Xyz Material, it can destroy all of my opponents Level 7 and lower Monsters..."

"Level 7 or lower...?" All three members of Security watched worringly as Sniping Heiji Type-0, Goyo Guardian and Goyo Catapult were all Level 7 or lower.

Odd-Eyes Rebellion roared, creating a purple lighting that struck Sniping Heiji Type-0, Goyo Guardian, Goyo Catapult, Red-Eyes Black Dragon and Retro Dragon, destroying them in an instant and creating a massive explosion that echoed through the City.

Other end of The City

Jason, Serena and Tsukikage jist defeated Security and were discussing what to do next.

Just then, Serena's bracelet began emiting a strong purple shine.

Reira's eyes widened. "Your bracelet."

"This can't be true..." Jason looked behind, few miles from Duel Palace and noticed that sky darkened with occasional lighting striking the nearby buildings.

"Is something happening to Yuya?" Serena thought aloud.

"Yea. I'm going to check up on him." Jason told them. "Meanwhile, you three go get shelter and later on we will regroup with others."

Back at the Duel

Dark aura around Yuya grew even more with arrival of his Xyz/Pendulum hybrid.

"Overlord Howling!" Yugo yelled as Securitys Monnster and two Red-Eyes got knocked back, then struck by lightning which caused them to dissolve.

"After your Monsters are destroyed by Rebellion effect, I can deal you Damage equal to their Attack!"

"I activate my Red-Eyes Veil! This card negates any possible Effect Damage that would be inflicted upon me and then, all of us draw a card."

They did so, but shock waves pushed back first and third Security, due to their Sniping Heiji Type-0 and Goyo Guardian having 2400 and 2800 Attack respectivly. With only 2000 Life Points, they ost the moment lighting connected and fell on the floor with a huge thud. Third one only lost 600 Points, while Darkness Red-Eyes Black Dragon and Retro Dragon got destroyed, without him taking Damage due to his Trap.

"W-what is happening to them?" Sole survivor of Security Squad watched wide-eyed at his collegues body dissapearing into black fog.

"Loser of this Duel losses their Life." Yugo coldly responded insted of Darkness. "Now you three will pay dearly for all abuse that you caused me and my close ones."

"Wait.. Let's talk.."

"I'm done talking to you, Scum!" Yugo yelled as Yuri took over. "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon effect activates! By detaching an Overlay Unit, it can attack number of times equal to destroyed Monsters this turn!"

"That means..."

"Retro Dragon, Red-Eyes, Sniping Heiji Type-0, Goyo Guardian and Goyo Catapult got destroyed this turn." Yuya listed. "That is five attacks, enough to finish all of you off."

"Before that, I Equip Odd-Eyes Rebellion with Wings of The Supreme King!" Large pair of purple wings cackling with electricity appeared on Odd-Eyes.

Security Officer felt blood driping down his face as he immediately found himself on the floor after Odd-Eyes Rebellion struck him. In what seems hours of pain, he felt his life leaving him. Then, he was no more...

"Your turn." Yuto glared at him. "Four attack are coming for you!"

Darkness sweated nervously. "If I banish Return of Dragon Lords, I will be able to protect one of my Dragons, but..."

"Battle, Odd-Eyes Rebellion!" Yugo yelled.

"Finish off that fake Xyz Monster first." Yuto exclaimed.

Odd-Eyes metallic prong like wings snapped open and began to crackle with purple electrical power.

"Rebellious Wrath Strike Disobey!"

Odd-Eyes lifted its deadly prongs, damaging the road on the way. He struck Flare Metal Dragon, that seemingly survived the attack.

"I banish Return of the Dragon Lords to negate my Monsters destruction!" He declared.

"You still take Damage!" Darkness Life droped to 5600.

"Second Battle! Finish him off for good this time - Odd-Eyes Rebellion!"

The Supreme King Black Dragon lunged towards Flare Metal Dragon, striking him again.

"From my Graveyard, I can banish Red-Eyes Veil to prevent destruction of one Red-Eyes Monster I control." I pocketed his card, as gust of wing, followed by small electrical charge reduced his life to 4900

"I should survive this... Even if he destroys my Monsters and attack with Drago Ramora, I will have plenty of Life left."

"You're dead..."

"Third Battle!" Yuri yelled. "End him now, Odd-Eyes Rebellion!"

Like they say, third time's the charm. He pierced Flare Metal Dragon sith his scale of wrath and finally destroyed it, creating large smoke around entire Field. Darkness Life was droped to 4200.

"At this moment... Effect of my Wings of The Supreme King activates!" Yuya stated, making his opponent to wide his eyes. "When Monster equiped with this card destroys your Monster in Battle, you take Damage equal to destroyed Monsters Attack!"

"What?!" He yelled as ligthing strick him, making him drop to the floor as his life hit 1400.

"Not done yet!" Yuto spoke. "We still have one attack! Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon attack his Archfiend the Black Skull Dragon! Rebellious Wrath Strike Disobey!"

Once again, Odd-Eyes Rebellion wings cakled with electricity as he dashed towards Fusion Monster, while damaging the street and nearby buildings in the process. He pierced him through the chest as loud explosion occured, pushing both Duelist few feet back. Wing of Supreme King effect activated, damaging him for 3200, enough to finish him off.

In their parts of the City, both Yugo and Yuri deactivated their Awakened State and droped unconcious.

Yuya was on his knees. Holograms dissolved and he stood up on his wobbly feet, looking around himself in suprise at the destruction caused.

"That sure was interesting..." Darkness rose up and glared at Yuya with his blue eyes as his body began dissapearing in darkenss. "You won today, but make sure same thing won't happen again. I will find you later and then kill you..."

Yuya grabed his shoulder in pain as Darkenss dissapeared with one last crazy laugh. As he looked on, he had only one thoight in mind.

"What the hell happened?"

Done. Busted my ass on this Chapter. I hope that to was worth it. Serena wasen't paralyzed with Nerve Gas like she was in canon, because I have bigger plans for her. I didn't want her to be helpless against Academia, because she has a lot more to offer.

Duel with Kaiser was finally here and as you all witnessed, without Jack, Jason would lose. I wrote it that way to prove that Jason, as a Duelist has plenty of space to evolve further, despite his winning streak. It proves that, no matter how good you are, you can still fall short in the end against anyone. Plus, you have to admit, Jack's entrance was badass. :)

Beserk Yuya was also featured here. Darkness had a hidden agenda with this Duel that will be explored later on.

Some Card Effects were changed for CONVENIENT. Such as Evolution Burst and so on...

Effect: This card can attack twice during each Battle Phase. You can select one Monster in your Graveyard that was Summoned from Extra Deck: for this turn, this cars gains Attack equal to that cards Original Attack. When this card leaves the Field, Special Summon one C/C Monster in your Graveyard.

Red Shut (Normal Trap)

Effect: Activate only if ypu control Red Monster. When Monster Effect is activated, negate activation and destroy it. Then, inflict Damage equal to half of destroyed Monsters Original Attack. Pendulum Effect: All Entermate, Odd-Eyes and Magician Monster you control cannot be destroyed by Card Effects.

Effect: Once per turn you can send one Odd-Eyes or Entermate Monster from your Hand or Deck to Graveyard to inflict Damage to your opponent equal to its Level x100. Effect: Negate any Effect Damage that would be inflicted to you. Then, each player draws a card. If you control a Red-Eyes Monster, banish this card from your Graveyard to negate destruction of one Odd-Eyes Monster you control.

Effect: Negate any effects that would prevent you from Summoning a Monster.

Elemental Hero Necro Ghoul + One more Dark Attributed HERO Monster

Effect: First must be Fusion Summoned. Once per turn, you can negate effect of one Monster your opponent controls, destroy it and inflict Damage to your opponent equal to halve of his original Attack Points. For every Monster you destroy this way, you draw a card. This card cannot attack on the turn you activate this effect.
