Jason and Luna walked all the way to the train station, wishing they could stay with their father and siblings a little longer. But that's not possible. If they stay any longer, their mom might find out. She's coming home early after all.
"When do you think we'll be able to see them again?" Luna asked, once they were at the train station. Jason looked at her before answering.
"Well, I would probably be able to when I'm eighteen," Jason said. "I'll be an adult and Mom can't stop me then."
Luna crossed her arms. "I have to wait longer than you do."
Jason was about to say something to his sister when he heard a low, deep voice say, "Well, I finally found you, little girl."
Luna blinked, and looked at Jason. They both turned and came face to face with a big man who was grinning down at them. Wait, was he talking to Luna when he said "Little girl?"
Jason must've thought so too as he put his arm in front of Luna, glaring at the man before them. "Who are you?" Jason demanded, sounding a lot braver than how he actually felt.
"You are of no concern to me, boy," the man said, and then pointing at Luna. "She's the one that I want."
Luna's eyes widened and she didn't know if she should feel afraid or flattered, so she settled for both.
"Well, you can't have her!" Jason said.
"Oh, is that so?" he growled before he blasted Jason with a blue magical sphere. Jason was left unconscious after that. Luna was afraid he might not be breathing.
"Why, you--" Luna said, before pulling out a key without looking at which one she grabbed. She has never before had to use her keys for anything but fun... until now, that is.
But before she could call on a spirit of hers, a bag went over her, and instant darkness over came her.
It hasn't even been an hour yet, and Nashi already misses Luna and Jason.
Even if she didn't know them for very long, they are still her siblings, and she just wants their family to be whole once again. Is that to much to ask first for?
Nashi could tell her dad and Zach felt the same way about missing Jason and Luna. If only they had more time...
"I'm going to the guild!" Nashi yells, knowing her dad heard her. Maybe her friends will take her mind off of her siblings... and a mom she still hasn't met. Great. Now tears are in her eyes. Who's cutting onions?
"Zach, you want to come?" Nashi asked, and she received a shake to the head from him. Zach was slumped against the couch. He must feel sad that their siblings are no longer here. He only knew they existed for a few hours, Nashi should have told him from the start...
Nashi walked out of the door. She began walking, humming to herself. She can't wait to see Silvia. Should Nashi tell her best friend? After all, Silvia's brother knows, and she hates him. So why not let Silvia in the loop?
Unfortunately, she wouldn't get the chance to. Or at least she would not have been the one to tell her.
Nashi won't even make it to the guild.
Nashi's back suddenly hurts a lot. Her eyes fluttered as she fell to the ground. The last think she saw was a man looming over her, carrying a actual body bag.
