I Don't Own Minecraft

After a couple more moments just to make sure it was properly long the enderman said in an almost faint sounding tone, though it was hard to tell really.

"How do you know about that human?" They sounded a bit panicked at that, so I just tilted my head to the side and said simply.

"Um, I'm like half human at best, though looking at the situation I don't think you really care about that... Yeah, so in quick recap terms, basically from what I've heard and figured out, a group of people were attacking medical shipments, killing everyone there to leave no trace with their very strong forms. Judging from what I've heard about how they died, led me to believe you and your lot were the most capable for leaving no survivors in such a way, well I figured after our last conversation anyway. Back to the point, you needed medicine for something but you clearly don't know much about how it works really, so it's a sickness of a kind you can't find in your own dimension so you need medicine from us which means you have a sick friend that needs help. Which should be urgent for how long this has been taking place...Did I get all that right? because like all of it is just guesswork"

I leaned forwards a bit to make sure the enderman knew I wanted that last one really answered because I'm a smart cookie, and putting this together would just be a nice show that I am in fact deserving to hold the title of smartest in my party...Well that's my ego side talking, I also really want to know because it's no fun at all if you try and do a puzzle only to get half the pieces in the wrong place, or realize that you've actually been mixing up to sets of two completely different puzzles.

"You have it all correct, some a little more vague than what can be considered fully accurate but still, nonetheless, I am amazed that you've managed to put the pieces together in just the few days I've last seen you" I just smiled a bit more at that as I hummed to myself for a second, wondering how to continue on with this conversation as my mind whirled around a bit, focusing heavily on the newest problem now that I knew this one was solved properly. But still answered quickly enough anyway.

"Thanks! honestly I was just doing this because I thought it was fun but now I'm a lot more interested in your lot. It's quite rare for an enderman to be seen the overworld after all. I hope you don't mind to much, but it's kind of the reason why I'm offering to help" I've learned truthfulness makes people trust you easier, and I really want to have this experience since it seems like it was be really fun so I see no reason to hold back any, not like I could really lie anyway.

"You are...very truthful about you're intentions" I just nodded at that as I turned a bit before looking up into the skylight, it was beginning to fade a bit, so I have about two to three hours of fun to have before I need to get back to make sure Zane gets to sleep properly. He's been having trouble with it if I'm not near by when he drifts off, I think it's because my presences let's him know he's safe to rest. So I should make sure this doesn't take to long, no reason to worry anyone. Honestly I've been wandering around longer than I thought it would really take to be honest. Oh well, nothing I can do about it now.

"Well of course I am. I don't lie after all, so I can really only be truthful" Now that might be considered a lie considering that I give half truths all the damn time but I'm technically not lying because being truthful only means not telling a full thing that isn't at all true which I don't do so by my own personal definition I still am fully in the clear! Self justification at it's best!

"I see" I hear doubt, that's rude. I didn't show it of course, no reason to be all huffy about them being mean to me, I only do that with my friends because it's more fun for me in that way. I find acting a bit fun, of course, I find everything fun but that's not important at the moment. Plus I really don't want to go into the whole mental debate of 'is acting considering lying or not' I've had it enough times that I get whiplash with how many counter arguments I've had with myself over it.

"Sooo, what's it going to be then? Because if you don't want my help it's fine of course, a bit disappointing but fine. I mean it is your friend after all, you don't have to take the chance of me secretly being an evil dude or whatever" They seemed to think on it for a while more moments before, after a long period of what I can only assume as thought, they spoke up once more. They seem to take time in speaking, only after a lot of thought do they seem to talk, it's a bit interesting.

"Come back here tomorrow at the same time, I must confer with my people" I hummed to myself at that as I looked back up at the skylight, still ever dipping. Yeah, that probably wasn't going to work well for me. Let's see then, what to do... Ehh, I guess that can work.

"We can meet at night, a few hours past twenty-four basically. I'd rather sneak out than just leave my party waiting up on me to return from something that for all I know might take a few hours of time to do. So if you don't mind meeting a bit later here, at a bit past sunset, then that would be best for both parties. I know you're lot don't care much for the sun so it works out" I thought they had left again without telling me since I was still looking up at the sky while waiting for a long moment for a reply, but I still got one nonetheless.

"...A deal then" I listened to a faint pop for a breif moment before suddenly cussing to myself under my breath. I forgot to ask for their name! Again! Damn, well I'll just have to do it next time I meet up with him, her, them, whatever the fuck!

"Hey, mind if I ask you for a favor?" Eline blinked as she looked over at me from her doorway of the room that she and Warren were sharing, with two beds of course. They weren't much of a fan of it but for our constantly only just filled wallets the sacrifice just had to be made. Well not really, I just used that as a good reason to force the two in a room together because I normally find their arguments pretty entertaining to listen to.

"Sure, if you don't mind switching rooms" Just as she finished that, we both turned over to look at the very asleep form of Warren as he snored out a bit loudly. I just grinned a bit at it as Eline looked at the teen with annoyance, well to be honest that works out pretty swell for me.

"You got it. That's what I wanted you to do anyway. I'm heading out for a bit to do some stuff and I'd rather Zane not be along in case he wakes up from one of his nightmares" Eline blinked at that, not knowing what to do with this information as I'm usually more than happy to go to sleep after a tiring day of work, something I actually would really like to do since I did a lot more manual labor than I thought I would and my shoulders are already a bit sore, but I can just ignore that.

"Um, yeah, I guess I could, but what am I suppose to do if he wakes up?" I just hummed a bit at that, the thought had been bugging me most of today really. After a moment of getting all my thoughts in line I just said.

"He's already asleep, so that's half the battle really, but if he does wake up then just dig through my bag and prepare some tea for him, that should calm him down even if I'm not there. He's bad nights have been getting few and few in reoccurrence though, so more than likely, nothing will happen...I just don't want to take that chance and have it come down on him for my bad decision making" Eline just looked at me for a long moment before saying simply.

"Don't worry, I'll be there" I gave her a big smile at that and a quick hug before turning and began to move back towards the doorway, as I was in a bit of a rush to make sure I got there just in case the enderman arrived before me, when Eline's voice called out.

"Where are you going anyway?" I stopped for a moment, thinking about the question for a long few seconds, wondering how to answer it, before spinning back to look at her and said.

"I'm just helping out a group that I meet...Really I just thought it'd be fun more than anything though. Don't worry though, it's nothing dangerous, just some sick person needing a medicine reading" Eline blinked at that, for a long moment while I did my best to ignore the uncomfortable feeling that I get when I stretch the trust my party has in me. Because I wasn't lying, just not giving the full picture, but they didn't need to know about it. So with that I turned and walked away.

Even if I'm a lot more open in this world than my last, I was still a surprisingly anti-social guy, and that doesn't just disappear. I still like having some time to myself to just do whatever I want that even my close friends don't know about. Does that sound shady? Yes. But even if I love them all, I just like having my own experiences just as much as group ones, and frankly I have no idea how I would explain this otherwise, not to mention, even if it's changed a lot, this was my side project for this village.

"You're here" I nodded in the direction of the tall being as I looked around the area for a moment. I had heard shifting a few moments ago from behind a nearby wall, probably only a few feet away from us. More than likely, nothing at all, but I couldn't help but check anyway for a brief moment before turning back to look at the chest of the enderman and said.

"Course, I said I would so here I am! Um, stray question, how are we going to get there to your group because-" I was interrupted when the being reached out and placed their long arms across my shoulders, kind of like a creepy hug, when everything suddenly seemed to zoom out of focus before forcefully being put back into focus as I wobbled a bit on my feet before deciding roughly around the same time my legs did to just sit down. And with that my legs gave out.

"Well I guess that answers that then" I was a bit dizzy though I still noticed a few interesting sounding laughs at my expensive. I didn't bother looking up, this was the worst time to make accidentally eye contact so I didn't bother trying to risk it.

"This is the flesh walker that you told us about then? Doesn't seem like much to me" Deeper tones, a bit more clear on the gender of this one, and much easier to tell apart than I had originally had thought. Well whatever, so with that I just replied back before my friend could say anything, as I began to classify them all in my head under different labels until I could get all their names. The gruff one was Gruff, yes I am original.

"Flesh walker? Is it because I'm made of flesh and you aren't or because you teleport everywhere while I walk? Both maybe? Do you guys have flesh?" I could literally feel the sudden tension in the air as my words rang out in what I can only assume their native tongue. I still have yet to figure out how to separate the two in a way that I can chose what I use. It's hard ok! Anyway, it's clear that these endermen didn't think their friend was telling the truth about me. I wonder if any of them happens to know what a Sliver Tongue is, probably not.

"Y-you speak" I can now almost feel the smugness of frienderman, yes that's what I've dubbed them in my mind. I wonder if the main reason I'm here is because they all bet on if I was actually able to speak Ender or not. Well whatever, I've been invited to worse places for worse reasons. Literally. This world has brothels in it and being an innocent looking demi-cat leads to some bad job offerings.

"Of course I do? I'm told I'm quite good at it in fact" It's true, of course I was told that in second grade and only because I happened to stumble upon a dictionary but the point still stands as true and I'll use it to my advantage all I want. Cause, as it happens, I have a lot more insults than compliments that I can pull from as an outside source. I'm not really sure why though.

"Can we move on now then? We have things to do" Frienderman, was right, I technically am here on a job so that's a thing I guess. So with that I stood up, continuing to look down as I made point to memorize every set of legs, eight in total, being four, the one on my left was my friend, the one in front of me, judging from where the voice had come from, was Gruff, so the two to my right were the unknown. So five endermen, because I don't think the sick one would be standing.

"You're right E- Never mind that, come here human. What do you make of this" What was that? I was just about to learn my new buds name and you just stopped? Is it like some stupid taboo to tell anyone other than another enderman your name? Or does he just not trust me? I can't tell, though either could actually be likely here, as I don't know their culture because my books are not loyal to be enough to spill those secrets. Well, not their fault, I can just blame the authors, now then, on to the patie- Holy-

"Fucking shit. They appear to have been stabbed" I could hear both of the two to my right face palm, I'm dubbing him Ed, the other is now known as Ward, together they are Edward. Still, even if their reaction might show otherwise, I most certainly wasn't wrong. The chest of the poor guy, I'm assuming because fuck it, had a decent sized hole in it, which was leaking blood, blue in case you're curious.

"No kidding, so what can you do to help flesh walker" I just hummed at that as I looked the dude over, his eyes were closed, showing that he wasn't even awake at the moment, his head was a bit cube like also, interesting enough. Anyway, back to the problem at had. Let's see... I have next to no idea why he isn't dead yet, so time to speculate...Time? Interesting.

"You're powers almost only revolve around teleporting, something only your species has access to anymore since it's magic Spell was lost a long time ago. So why is he froze? More over, why would be a better question here. I'm guessing a self defense system to stop the body from dying. And if he's froze in time, then you can only do stuff here, when he's awake, as I doubt teleporting would be a good idea with this enderman in this condition. How close am I to accurate?"

I noted that a bit of silence had rang out into the air as I lower myself down to look into the enderman's wound, explaining the entrance mark. No rough edges, in a cylinder mark, thankfully not all the way through, more than likely whatever hit him only just connected when he teleported away. Probably saved his life doing that. Though this marks are familiar, in fact that look also lik-

"How did you figure that out?" Why is it always the how and not the answer? I just ignored my thought as I tilted my head to the side as I studied the wound for a few seconds, finishing my thought line and being a bit interested in what I figured out before replying with.

"Basic deductions, I have to make a lot of them and I've gotten pretty good at it over repeated use" So I'm guessing I'm on the money then, interesting, I wonder how teleportation translates to a small personal time stop...No, it can't be personal, it would have to be someone else doing it to them, or else they would never be able to get out of it. Maybe it's like my elements, like how I can shift from Dark to Fire, it just looks and acts different.

That could be what's going on here, one of the others changed the teleportation magic in this guys system to act in a way that makes it so they're constantly in flux, basically stopping their flow in time, though coming at the downside of course of being that he can't be moved in this state, double balded then. Still pretty genius, if I'm right of course.

"I see, you're right, he's froze in a small instance of time, if you must know, we were able to activate his teleporting ability to constantly put him in-" Gruff really should have started sooner, now the mystery is gone, at least I'm right I guess. Still, moving on, I interrupted him with.

"In flux which allows his body to practically be froze in time, though it comes at a negative of not being able to move him which is the reason this all started in the first place, yeah I figured that out. Sorry if you wanted to explain but I'm already onto the next problem. That being, well, it's a stab wound on a creature I don't have a full anatomy knowledge of, which makes this a bit more difficult as while you were on the right idea, medicine could react in any number of ways to this guy, a number of which have the chance of being near lethal"

I don't normally use so many words in explaining what I'm doing but my mind is running over dozens of possible ideas at the moment, and I couldn't stop without distracting myself as I went. Though thankfully for them, I happen to thrive under pressure and there isn't much more pressuring than a man with a hole in his chest. Though Gruff didn't seem to appreciate my clear awesomeness.

"Well then what are you saying then genius! He's good as dead and we killed dozens to get supplies that would only make certain of it!" I don't particularly fear death, but it was a nice reminder that these beings all murdered a numberless figure to get the massive amount of boxes near me just on the off chance that one of them would help. These endermen clearly don't have much value in any form of life besides their own. I can respect that, I'm quite similar, though it's more for my party than my species. Still, those words jumped started something in my mind, an idea that might work.

"What I'm saying is that you were just after the wrong items, but still you were in the right field, in fact if you just took everything that was of medical purposes then we have a small chance of saving your bud here, and at the very least I might be able to stabilize him enough that he can make a return trip without dying so you can fix him up the best you can in you're own realm" As I said that I hopped up to my feet as walked over to some of the crates that must have been the stolen items.

"What is needed then? What are we looking for!" Gruff no longer sounded as angry, though still gruff, as I think he might be thinking that my words didn't inspire much hope, after all I did say it was a small chance, but it did inspire some hope all the same, I could tell from his questions. So I just grinned to myself as I pulled a box lid open and called out behind me.

"We're looking for string which should have a set of needles with it, and a tube connected to a clear bag that has a needle attached to it" Yeah, I'm going to try and stitch close the wound and give Stabby, yes that's his name now, a blood transfusion of enough of whatever that blue stuff is that he won't bleed out on the teleport, as it seems like teleporting isn't an easy feat for the body, I can actually feel the headache from it coming on now in fact.

"You heard him men! Get to looking!" I chose to refrain from mentioning that the most I've ever done was donating blood and watching as my older brother got his arm stitched up once when I was seven. No need to make them angry at me again, I mean I've practiced sowing recently and I know enough about how to passingly operate a blood bag, sure it might not be clean or profession, but I mean, I'm not a doctor so they really shouldn't be expecting greatness from me.

"Um, I found the needle thing" Yes! Good job Ward, or maybe it's Ed, I can't actually tell when I'm not looking at their legs, I feel like that's a bit of a weird thought to have at this moment and this situation is pretty weird to begin with. Well whatever, I just found this world's equivalent of a blood bag, it was a bit old fashioned, by that I mean I'm not sure if suction was a thing that was invited when this thing was designed. Well I can improvise a bit and make sure it can actually draw blood. Though, since these probably are never used it makes sense that making them better wouldn't be high on the list of things to do.

"Cool, now look close to where you found it Ed, and you should see a long string or something like that. Get that too, anyway while you're doing that, Gruff I need to ask a quick question, is that blue stuff blood? If yes then we're good, without counting that you know what blood types are" He looked confused at what in the world a blood type is, which I can't blame him. In a world of magical healing, why would you need someone else's blood.

"Yeah it's blood...Did you just call me Gruff?" Oh yeah, I said that out loud, Ed's probably confused as well. Well, whatever, moving up to Gurff I just nodded to him as I pulled on the needle and made sure that the thing was set right before saying to him.

"Yeah, I don't know any of your names so I've assigned you all one. Anyway, this will pinch a little" Before he could say anything I stabbed the needle into his arm, with zero idea if he had veins or not, I just picked a spot and stabbed. He did not seem amused by this. And I think he was about to smack me away when I continued onward with my explanation really quickly to not have that thing happen to me.

"I need some of your blood to give to Stabby so when you wake him up he doesn't die of blood loss. Nothing I can do about the internal damage here, or in general really, so what I'm doing is a quick patch job that should get you friend up enough to get back to wherever you lot have a healer to fix this damage properly" Gruff seemed to consider my words for a long moment before Frienderman came to help me.

"He doesn't lie, and it's not like our blood has much use to a man like him" I smiled happily to myself at that as I continued to work, using gravity to collect the blood, though I noted there was only one needle attached to the bag, which wasn't very hygienic, as you should never reuse a needle as my doctor would have said, if he was both still alive and in this world. But I work with what I have and what I have is a shitty blood bag.

"True, now then I think that's enough so Ed and Ward, I hope you found those needles by now. Bring them over towards me and just set them down there...Cool, now, in fair warning, I'm not an expert on many things here, enderman anatomy, sowing, blood transfusing, and a number of other things that would be needed for me to normally attempt this, so fair warning to you all. I have no idea if this is going to work or not, I'm just being creative and hoping" It might not have been the best to say that but I want no blame to be put on me if I accidentally kill Stabby.

So with that I picked up the needle, threaded the line through it and looked down at the unawake form of the enderman. Leaning in, I noted that thankfully, while the hole was a bit wide, the attack had come in at a point, something I had recognized quickly earlier and was interrupted from. This is the same kind of injury one would get if they teleported away from one of my Dark March spikes.

Meaning that the skin was pushed and split away from the entrance wound as the spike got bigger, meaning that I could in fact sow it together as the skin was still there enough to connect the sides of. This guy was really lucky I happen to have Dark as my Magic, otherwise I would never have been able to recognize the wound type and would have dismissed sowing on the grounds that there wasn't enough skin to pull together. But there was, so with that I got to work.

This one was a bit shorter than normal but I can only stretch it on for so long and I didn't really want to write a stitch job out. Anyway, I just like this chapter because it shows Max's other worldly knowdge all over the placed, I mean if he wasn't from our Earth he wouldn't have had any idea of what to do. Sure in a number of places, and even where I live, the schooling system could be a bit better but it still can teach you a lot about a number of things that you wouldn't think would ever come up. Like a first aid class in middle school, or the way a blood bag works in a health class when blood donating season comes around. I don't know, I just found it a bit neat. Anyway, See ya.
