Chapter 18

As Ana lay in the bed she felt the bed shift, she could smell Christian's perfume and she wanted to turn around and throw herself into his arms but she was still angry and her thoughts were picking her mind apart.

She didn't know if what she had done would change the madness between Christian and his two old bimbos but she hoped that from now on all of them including Mr overprotective would not underestimate her ever again.

She was wide awake, she was from the moment she heard the front door open. She listened as Ray talked to Christian, just a general conversation and she waited to hear if he would storm into her room.

He didn't, instead he came in, quietly stripped and then climbed into bed. He pulled her closer and kissed her head,

"I love you, you crazy fighter!"

Ana didn't reply, she closed her eyes and suddenly she felt sleepy. She wasn't sure if it was the fact that she now knew that no matter what Christian would come for her or that she was in her safest, happiest place but everything said and done flew out her mind and she drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

"How, how did she turn out to be a ninja?" Elena asked out loudly.

Jinny had finally arrived and bailed them out. Miwa prepared their drinks but he was scared for his life and everyone could see it.

"She, she throat jabbed us, at the same time!" Jinny said.

"This isn't over!" Sarah said.

"I agree, so what if she gives a great punch, when I am done with her, no one will ever find her!" Elena replied.

The sun was shining brightly through the curtain and Ana stirred, she woke up feeling like she was floating in the air. The smell of pancakes and bacon filled the space. Ana jumped out of bed and put on her gown and made her way downstairs.

"Good morning darling."

"Hi mum"

"You sleep well?"

"Yes I did, where is dad and Christian?"

"They are on the balcony setting the table for breakfast."

Christian sensed Ana before she could even speak, he turned around and locked eyes with her. She smiled and his heart melted. He walked to her and pulled her into his arms.

"You are breath taking." He replied looking at her with his appreciation.

"Good morning to you too." She replied.

They ate breakfast and talked about the plans for the rest of the day. Ray insisted that they all go for a picnic and get some fresh air. Ana was happy to spend the day with her parents and Christian was glad to be part of it especially if it made Ana happy.

They drove to the outskirts of town and stopped at a lake. Ana enjoyed watching Christian so free and enjoying nature. They played games and laughed so much. That was what she wanted, a normal life and as she watched Christian she knew that it was possible.

"You are staring." Christian whispered.

"You amaze me at every turn Mr Grey." Ana replied.

"I hope in a good way."

"Right now it is most definitely a very good way."

"Let's take a walk." Christian said.

He didn't wait for Ana to reply he just stood up and grabbed her hand. He pulled her up and led her away from her parents. He needed to get Ana alone. He needed her, to feel her and kiss her. As they disappeared into the trees Christian said,

"Ana, I need you!"

She stopped walking and looked into his eyes, she knew that he needed her in ways that he could not explain but at that moment he just needed her to hold him and show him that everything was ok, that they were fine. She pulled him into her arms and held him, she stroked his hair and whispered,

"You hear that heartbeat, that's just for you, my heart beats just for you. Don't ever doubt that!"

Christian didn't reply, he pushed Ana down to the soft grass and then claimed her lips. He kissed her slowly and gently because he wanted to savour every second that his lips were on hers. Then he laid on his back next to her and smiled.

"The old me would just take you right here regardless of the fact that your parents are just out there, fuck it the old me would have taken you last night in your parents' home but Ana you make me want to be a better man. I know I have a fucked up past and damn it I know I have control issues but you give me a reason to want to be this good guy. "

"You can be bad, but just for me behind closed doors." Ana replied.

"This feeling, I can't explain it but I only feel it when I'm with you and I want to feel this all the time!"

Ana rolled to the side and then kissed Christian on the lips, she lay her head on his chest and then listened to the sound of nature with his heart beating in the mix. It was peaceful and pleasant, something she had not experienced since she had met Christian Grey.

As the sun set Ana and Christian sat hand in hand on a blanket watching the sky. The day was well spent and Ray smiled when he looked over to them. He knew that they needed a time out and that was why he brought them out to relax and enjoy nature. It gave him great pleasure to see his little girl happy.

Finally they made it home, Ana was glad to have had the time with her parents. Gail had cooked them dinner and Christian insisted that they have dinner on the balcony so they could eat while watching the stars. He was in a calm and relaxed mood. Much to the rest of the household's surprise.

Even Taylor took a second look and smiled to himself, no one had ever seen Christian that happy and relaxed. Maybe it was the air, maybe it was the different scenery or maybe it was the fact that he was a bit more confident in his relationship with Ana. Maybe now he knew for sure that she was his and nothing could scare her away.

When they climbed into bed Christian smiled like a naughty school boy and Ana laughed loudly. Nothing else was said as them embraced each other and sealed the day of with a deep kiss, their bodies entwined and while nothing else mattered. Just the two of them, holding each other and exploring the depths of their love in the most intimate way.

"Jinny, we need to get out of here, these two old bird are fucked up crazy and I do not want to be on the receiving end of either them or Christian Grey." Miwa pleaded with Jinny.

"Where the hell will we go? We have no one and nowhere to go, we have to wait it out." Jinny replied annoyed.

"I can't, I just can't!"

"Then what do you propose we do?"

"Jinny, let's just go, somehow we will find out way." Miwa said.

He was scared, terrified of what was going to happen, he knew Christian well, he had seen him in action, he also knew all that Sarah and Elena were capable off and he didn't want to be in the middle of the war that had just began.
