Epilogue

Legosi sat at the dining room table, drinking tea while he looked at the picture frame in hand. Behind the glass cover was a moment frozen in time forever. One of the best moments of his entire life.

In the picture was he standing beside Juno, her white dress shining brightly in the light. Her handsome Legosi was wearing a black suit, a blue bow striking color into the relatively simple suit.

The wedding was exactly two years ago. The ceremony was held under the shade of cherry trees growing in the churchyard. The picture was full of pink petals, falling from the sky like snowflakes.

He smiled as he thought back to the details of the day. Many were present with even his grandfather, Gosha making it. His best men were Louis and Jack, not to anyone's surprise.

It was a relatively small wedding, with Juno's parents, siblings, some of Legosi's and Juno's friends. But it had a homey and warm feeling to it. It was comfortable and lovely.

The wolf stood up and turned around, walking towards the wall behind him. He hanged the picture back on its nail, carefully securing it. He looked over the wall, many pictures and memories already having formed in the two years that the couple lived in this house.

He noticed another picture, inspecting it carefully, remembering the wedding day of Louis and Haru.

Louis had received the Beastar title for mysterious reasons as far as the world knew. But, of course, Legosi and their pack were well aware of the reason. The school may have wanted to keep quiet about Haru's kidnapping, but they still showed appreciation for the act.

So their drama club captain was crowned king of the campus, but slowly but surely the female screeching died down when they started to notice how often he spent time with the hare.

Oguma only started to accept the relationship after he had obtained the Beastar title, slowly warming up to the rabbit. How Louis had managed to dodge the arranged marriage with another deer remained a secret to this day.

He looked at another picture, this time showing Bill. The lion had managed to become a relatively popular theater actor, making quite a name for himself. He was wearing casual clothing posing in front of a theater poster, imitating his character.

Legosi also took note of a few other photos. One of him and his friend's graduation. Another, a picture of Jack who himself had started to date a Labrador like himself.

Legosi's eyes perked up as he heard the door opening. He turned his head, seeing his wife holding a pup in her hands.

He eagerly held out his hands, walking towards them. She gently handed him the small pup. He rocked him gently, the amethyst eyes peeking out of the grey-furred pelt.

"How was visiting Grandma and Grandpa, huh?" He asked his son who was cooing and gurgling happily.

"Leon has been such a good boy, not crying once," Juno reassured, sitting down at the table, exhausted from the small trip to her parents.

Legosi kept looking at his son, rocking him gently as the small pup began to yawn and close his heavy eyelids.

"Apparently it's been a tiring day for not only mommy but for you too." He spoke softer, sitting down next to his wife.

Juno looked over, dreamily falling in love with him all over again, the small bundle of joy in his arms their greatest testament of love.

"Let's get him to bed while we still have a chance… we'll talk then," whispered Legosi slowly making his way upstairs, careful not to disturb the precious being in his arms.

After having placed Leon in his crib and tucking him in, Legosi returned downstairs, joining his wife on the living room couch.

"So how are they?" Legosi asked, letting Juno lean into him.

"They were great. My sister visited as well." She sighed, the day being exhausting. "They were all over him," she remarked, closing her eyes.

"Sounds like they took over the work of powering him out," her husband said, resting his head back on the couch. Juno smirked remembering something else she had planned to tell him.

"You remember how I went to the doctor a few days ago?" She asked him.

"Did anything bad come up? We don't want you to get sick again..." Her naive Legosi stepped right into her trap.

She placed his hand gently on her stomach.

"Nothing bad… but something good ..." She teased, waiting for him to connect the dots.

He re-positioned himself, gently holding up her face as he kissed her. The same warmth pulsating through his veins that he felt all these years ago when they had kissed for the very first time. The same thought went through their heads as they separated and sat there, cheek to cheek… I love you...
