Chapter 21: War on Zilkhstan Part III
*8 hours before the invasion*
Shamna wakes up startled and learns of the invasion. She has her brother attack Kallen and has him make sure he keeps his distance, she has bitool use his crab form to attack Suzaku. Finally she has some of her forces wait till for a signal to attack and ambush Suzaku and Kallens squad.
"Forgnar, we'll reinforce the city to make sure Emperor Lelouch doesn't make it past the front gates of the city"
"Namjala latak" Everyone shouted covering their left eye with their hand.
*20 minutes before Lelouch's squad reaches the city centre*
Suzaku's squad are distracting Zilkhstan forces while Lelouch and his squad back up Jeremiah's squad.
"It's time to get serious," Kallen said, targeting hundreds of Zilkstanian troops. The Zilkhstan General fighting Kallen and Suzakus' squads begins taunting them.
"Suzaku take my squad and yours to deal with the troops the general is mine" Kallen said engaging the scorpion looking knightmare frame the Zilkhstan general was piloting. Kallen went to charge him but dodged all the missiles the general fired at her.
"Is that all you got General Bitool?"
"You dare mock me? I've probably had more experience piloting knightmare than you?"
Kallens just laughed at the general. Kallen attacked using her radiant wave to wipe out all remaining aerial forces coming to reinforce them. Kallen went to charge the general again but was stopped by a new knightmare belonging to the king of Zilkhstan Shalio. Shalio engages Kallen in a fierce duel with neither being able to top the other. Exchanging blows and dodging each other's attacks, meanwhile Suzaku charges up the WhiteFang and targets all forces shooting him. "You had your warning" Suzaku said firing the WhiteFang destroying every knightmare targeted.
Suzaku notices Kallen struggling against Shalio and goes and attacks Shalio blocking his next attack meant for Kallen. "Kallen go and deal with general Bitool...the king is mine" Suzaku said, fighting off Shalio giving Kallen enough time to retreat from the battle to attack Bitools Batalalan Du KMF. "I must live" Suzaku said to himself and eyes glowed red as he ejected out of the giga fortress revealing the Lancelot siN;Suzaku grabs his two V.A.R.I.S rifles and began firing at Shalio rendering him unable to use his weapons, Suzaku puts away one of the rifles and grabs his Master Vibration Sword and charges him. Shalio goes to dodge the Vibration sword but has his KMFs left leg blown off by the V.A.R.I.S rifle. Suzaku grabs a hold of Shalio and uses the Master Vibration Sword slashing at Shalios knightmare frame dealing enough damage to break the knightmare apart exploding it.
Kallen took notice of Shalios' death and charged Bitool. Kallen charged Batalalan Du in it's scorpion form but was caught by it's capture field. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, i'm sorry, i'm sorry, i'm sorry, i'm sorry, i'm sorry, There! I apologized my brains out, now let's do this" Kallen said, ejecting out of her giga fortress frame revealing the Guren S.E.I.T.E.N Type Special and spreads it's red wings, flying in the air dodging all the missiles and bullets being fired from the remaining ground forces. She swoops down charging him in her Guren S.E.I.T.E.N Type Special and uses the radiant wave arm and uses max energy bubbling all the ground forces knightmare frames and exploding them. The Batalalan Du wasn't affected by the radiant wave surge, Btiooland elated saying his KMF was second to none when it came to hardness and that his armor was very tough and very resilient to her radiant wave. Bitool fired his six slash harkens at Kallen making her fly away to dodge them, landing on the ground she charges him with her radiant wave drill mode and Shisei Ichigo Netsu Zanto Master Vibration Sword charging Bitool. He fired his Kula La Heat Ray Cannon but it was blocked by Kallens radiant wave causing his frame to bubble up, Kallen takes this advantage to impale the head of the KMF with her radiant wave destroying Bitool and Batalalan Du.
Kallen headed to regroup with her and Suzaku's squad. "For newbies you kids ain't bad at piloting a knightmare" Suzaku commented on Pyrrah, Jaune, Yang and Ruby piloting skills. However before they went rendezvous with Lelouch and Jeremiahs squads who by now should be attacking the city they are ambushed by more Zilhkstan forces and are completely surrounded. "We take 'em right?" Jaune asked, "We would be able to knock out at least a few hundred but we'd be dead before we could finish off the rest" Suzaku said. Preparing for a blood bath a light in the sky catches Ruby's attention.
"Guys in the sky something headed this way, and it's coming really fast" Ruby said. Kallen and Suzaku couldn't tell what it was but then it hit the ground revealing a large white capsule and several Alexander MkIII Knightmare frames popped out of the capsule and start attacking the troops.
"This Princess Leila Malcal and commander of squad W-0 of the E.U here to assist Emperor Lelouch in the invasion to rescue Princess Nunnally Vi Britannian" Leila said as the Alexander drones and her team wiped out dozens of Zilhkstan troops. "We're grateful you could assist us, Leila as well as you Ghost of Hannibal" Suzaku said smiling. All three teams engaged the hundreds of forces surrounding them. Suzaku using his V.A.R.I.S rifles and his MVS, Kallen using her radiant wave and her MVS', Ruby using her Scythe blade, Yang using her shotguns to destroy the enemies, Pyrrha and Jaune using their MVS and shields to destroy the remaining forces. After another 20 minutes of fighting off the remaining forces that ambushed them.
The three teams made their way to the city only to see Lelouch had literally punched straight through the KMFs and was making his way to commander Bolvona Forgnars Knightmare frame. Everyone noticed Lelouch's flaming hand melting the Knightmares cockpit and Lelouch drags Bolvona Forgnar out of his knightmare. Lelouch forgot to turn his communicator off and they all heard what he said. "I surrender, please spare me" Everyone heard, pleading to Lelouch.
"You want to surrender now after threatening me and my sister" Everyone heard Lelouch say, they could see now both of Lelouch's eyes were flaming bright orange.
"I gave you a chance to surrender Forgnar and I would've spared your pathetic life but you made one wrong move"
Everyone was able to see Forgnar look up at Lelouch.
"YOU THREATENED ME AND MY SISTER PRINCESS NUNNALLY" Lelouch shouted pissed off.
"As I said before you'll pay with your life" Lelouch said, picking the man up by the collar of his shirt.
'Lelouch what has happened to you while you were on Remnant?'
"The only ones who should be killed are those who are prepared to be killed" Lelouch said and pulled out his gun and shot him a couple times in the stomach and dropped the general's dead body on the ground. Everyone but Jeremiah and Cornelia were shocked at what they just witnessed, Lelouch mercilessly executed him. Lelouch stood there in Forgnars pool of blood before Lelouch went to move forward he heard a voice.
'I see my boy is finally becoming what he was meant to be a demon'
"I'll never be like you, I may have killed and caused innocent to die but that's war"
Another voice spoke.
'Why fight sweetheart? Why refuse what will be inevitable?'
"Why? Because I've seen things that are impossible and I can and will create what Nunnally and Euphie had always wanted a gentler world"
Everyone was wondering who he was talking to since they could no one.
Soon everyone saw Lelouch's other hand start flaming and then fire surrounded him but wasn't burning him even Team RWBY & JNPR were shocked they weren't sure if this was part of the maidens powers or if somehow Lelouch is altering the fall maidens powers.
Lelouch dropped to his knees taking a breath.
"Maybe I am a demon," Lelouch said.
'You are a demon but not just any demon you are THE demon/Lucifer than any other demon. Lucifer as you know was an Angel who fell from heaven and fell to Earth and became the first sin known to man preceding Adam he challenged god and failed but Lucifer learned from his mistakes just as you have. However where you and Lucifer draw the line of right and wrong is your love for those you care about, it's what keeps you sane' a voice said that Lelouch recognized which was the collective unconscious.
"You're right but I'm just scared what the world will think of me when they learn of these powers"
'As I have told you before that's up to you figure out'
Everyone rushed to Lelouch wondering what he's doing and what who he's talking to.
"I have one question to ask of you before I confront Shamna"
'Ask away Lelouch'
"I want to know why I'm hearing my parents voices"
'It's the maidens powers rejecting you and trying to test you if you're are truly worthy of wielding its power and because you're letting your anger and hatred consume and corrupt similar to how greed and pride corrupted Lucifer'
"Lelouch you okay?...Lelouch hello"
Lelouch looked up and saw everyone looking concerned.
"The maidens' powers are trying to reject me seeing that I'm letting my anger and hatred corrupt my soul as Lucifer was corrupted by self-generated pride. I could hear my mother and father trying to turn me into a Demon Emperor"
That little twist caught everyone off guard.
"Lelouch you are no Demon yes you've committed horrible crimes...we all have" Suzaku said reassuring Lelouch
"You're wrong Suzaku I am a Demon...I am Lucifer but what makes us different is I have people to keep me in check compared to Lucifer who was all alone when he committed the first sin known to man"
"And I agree with the collective unconscious" Lelouch said standing up.
"After this is over I'll talk to Ozpin and have him help me train to control these powers...If the public were to learn of this power they'd reject me and want me killed or banished. That's why I might step down and allow Nunnally to continue what I started and I'll probably stay on Remnant where they'll accept me"
Everyone didn't like to hear what Lelouch was saying but Team RWBY and JNPR understood him and why he thinks that. Blake was the one to break the silence.
"The people may be scared but if you assure them that you can learn to control the maidens powers from a man that has helped us all out before they'd be less scared, you can tell them that you will not fight in the battle unless absolutely necessary if that's what they wish. I don't care what everyone thinks just like how you didn't care I was a Faunus and supported me." Blake said kissing him on the cheek to reassure Lelouch that no matter what he thought she'd always be with him and they'd support him no matter his decision.
Lelouch got up and started walking "Let's go get my sister and kill Shamna" Lelouch walked over to his knightmare and was about to hop in the ShinkirÅ Zareis Prototype and felt like this had happened already, "Damn it" He yelled "What's wrong Lelouch?" Suzaku asked. "Shamna must've used her Geass because this feels like deja vu which now confirms my theory on her Geass" Lelouch said getting inside the ShinkirÅ Zareis Prototype and flew to the temple at the heart of the city, everyone followed him.
Pendragon the capital of Britannia. Princess Euphiemia Li Britannia and Clovis La Britannia wake up and a nurse who does a daily check up on calls for some doctors.
"Clovis I thought you died by Zer-Lelouch?"
"No, what happened to you?" Clovis asked. Euphie explained everything that she remembers. The doctors came rushing in running several tests.
"I would like a word with my father Charles" Euphie said. The doctors and Nurses present all looked at them with a face of disgust.
"You've both been in a coma for a year there's a lot you've missed" The nurse said, "The 98th Emperor Charles Zi Britannia is dead, his highness Lelouch Vi Britannia killed him and the Empress Marianne who conspired to turn the world into a world where everyone was a mindless slave." One of the Doctos said. "Lelouch has brought peace upon the world until recently when Princess Nunnally Vi Britannia was kidnapped by the Zilhkstan Kingdom...His majesty is leading a invasion army to attack them for two reasons. 1. The kidnapping of royalty and 2. Disrupting a new era of peace" Another doctor said. "That's all we know not much has been said, but we'll inform Prince Schneizel of your awakening from your coma."
AN: So this is kinda of a repeat of chpt 20 with some changes and i'll admit it seems like a waste of a chapter but since Shamna's Geass was used in Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;ssurection film several times, I wanted to stick as close to the film as possible including the ending of course.
Chapters 1-5 will be rewritten sometime after the main story for Code RWBY is finished, I'm thinking of pulling a arifureta where though the main story is done there's still more to explore but the continuation may not be till a year later becuase I want to either make a villain or make a new conflict. Why I'm rewriting the first five is because 2 reasons. 1. Is because Lelouch acts OOC and tho I edited the description to acknowledge characters will be OOC many comments prefer I stick to or as close to his canon version and 2. The chapters are very short like 600-900 words and I want more interaction to develop Lelouch further before he goes to remnant as well as develop Remnants world more.
Finally Euphie and Clovis are awake from their coma and are told what has happened while they were in a coma.
One thing I never mentioned in chpt 19 was Lelouch's KMF name, Zareis is actually the combined names of Zeus and Ares from Greek Mythology or two of my favorite gods. and the reason why it's a prototype is because it's a 10th gen KMF. In canon there are no 10th gen KMFs, we only have up to 9th gen KMFs which are Guren S.E.I.T.E.N Type Special and Lancelot siN.
