"We're very close to the coordinates. It should be straight ahead." Jupiter says as he is looking at the gps.
"Master Jones that sign did indicate no public access." Wellington says.
"That's okay. Keep going." Jupiter says before Wellington stops the car upon seeing a police car in front of them.
"This your car?" The police man asks as he walks over with a dog.
"Indeed my good man. I'm the Chauffeur to this young gentleman." Wellington says as he gestures to Jupiter.
"Chauffeur? We don't get too many of those up here. Didn't you see the sign?" The policeman asks.
"We're visiting on private business. We're going up to Steven Terrill's house." Jupiter says as the policeman goes to the back window to look at him.
"Terror castle. Nobody's allowed up there. It's private property. And if I see you around here again you'll be getting more than a warning. Don't eye ball me boy." The policeman says.
"Yes sir." Bob says as he looks down.
"Perhaps this will help." Jupiter says as he explains their business to the policeman.
"That's all I need. Nosey kid detectives getting in my hair. Get out of here." The policeman says as Wellington starts the car and drives off.
"Where to now master Jones?" Wellington asks.
"Uh stop up here. We'll hike from here Wellington. We'll call you when we need the car." Jupiter says as the group gets out of the car.
"Do you think that's advisable master Jones?" Wellington asks.
"Yeah Jupiter. What about what the sheriff said? No trespassers." Alexis says.
"We're not trespassers. We're surprise guests." Jupiter says as the group leaves and follows him.
*Timeskip*
"Why is this place even called Terror Castle? Never mind." Peter says as the group arrive at the castle before going up to the gate as Alexis shifts to wolf form.
"This place is really creepy." Alexis says as she hears something screech and growls before seeing it's a crow.
"What is it about the four investigators that we're always going to places like Terror Castle? Why can't we ever go on the case of the cozy cottage or the mystery of grandma's little prairie home?" Peter asks as they are walking up the step.
"Because we're magnets for mysteries like these." Alexis says asPpeter looks at her before they stop at the door as Jupiter then knocks on the door.
"Doesn't look like Steven Terrill's home." Bob says as nobody answered the door.
"Jupiter we can't just barge in." Peter says as Jupiter opens the door and goes inside.
"Too late." Alexis says as she, Bob, and Peter follow Jupiter inside as the door closes behind them.
"Okay well nobody's home so let's just go." Peter says.
"Bob flashlights." Jupiter says as Bob hands him and Peter a flashlight.
"Nice place." Bob says as the group begin to look around.
"No it's not. I don't think anybody's living here." Peter says.
"He's here. He's in the house." A female voice says as Alexis starts barking and growling in the direction it came from
"Who are you?" Jupiter asks as the group sees a red haired girl in a white dress walk down the steps as Alexis stops barking.
"Your aura is blue." The girl says as she looks at Jupiter.
"Excuse me?" Jupiter asks confusedly.
"I've got paranormal powers. I can see people's auras. Yours is blue for intelligence. You've got a white aura. That's the color for strength." The girl says as she walks over to Peter.
"Does anybody really believe this stupid stuff?" Peter asks disbelievingly.
"I also see a dark shadow over your aura Pete." The girl says shocking Peter.
"Hey how'd you know my name?" Peter asks.
"It's the curse of Terror Castle. You'll have never ending bad luck here." The girl says.
"Wait. You don't really see a shadow over my aura do you?" Peter asks as the girl walks over to Alexis and gently pets her.
"Alexis your is lavender. That color means enchanting. But I'm not surprised for a wolf shifter. Though if you are gonna walk around like that I would advise wearing a collar. So people think you belong to someone and are not wild." The girl says as Alexis looks at her shocked.
"Okay she has my attention." Alexis says as the girl walks over to Bob.
"Bob your aura is red. Bright red." The girl says as she smiles.
"What does red mean?" Bob asks nervously.
"Danger. You're a dangerous man. Very dangerous. You were Mark Anthony in a previous life." The girl says.
"And how do you know that?" Bob asks.
"Because I was Cleopatra." The girl says as she steps close to Bob before he drops his gear and immediately picks it up.
"Sorry! My gear I.. sorry." Bob says nervously as the others look at him.
"Our fates are intertwined Bob." The girl says as she begins to walk off only for Peter to stop her.
"About that curse thing not that I believe in that stuff but um how do I get rid of it?" Peter asks.
"You don't." The girl says.
"Wait! Who's Steven Terrill? Can we see him?" Jupiter asks as he goes over to the girl.
"If he wants to be seen. Bob I'm Caroline your Russian swan for all eternity." The girl says before she leaves.
"Bob I think you've got yourself a girlfriend." Peter says as he looks at Bob.
"I don't know what I've got." Bob says.
"Well considering that Anthony and Cleopatra were the most famous pair of lovers in the Roman empire I would-" Jupiter then gets cut off as the group hear a noise.
"What was that?" Alexis asks as the group begin to investigate the sound and split up to look around. As Alexis is walking around in a room she soon jumps upon hearing a loud screech and see a crow sitting on a table screeching at her.
"Darn birds." Alexis says as she growls lowly at the crow before hearing Peter scream and goes running as she finds the boys in a room.
"Uh what happened to not making it look like we were here?" Alexis asks as she sees stuff all over the floor.
"That idea went out the window." Peter says.
"Looks like the curse is already taking effect." Bob says as peter looks at him.
"There's no curse." Peter says.
"It sounds like there's another room on the other side of this wall." Jupiter says as the group hear sounds coming from the wall.
"There can't be." Bob says.
"This is the last room on the corridor." Jupiter says as Peter knocks into a globe and find it has a gears and a turning handle inside before Jupiter begins to turn it as it then opens the wall causing the group to go inside the room and begin to look around as Jupiter finds a journal and begins to read it.
"I found something." Peter says as the group go over to a painting he found as Jupiter brushes the dust off the inscription.
"1895!? But that means-" Peter then gets cut off by Bob.
"Of course! This is the Steven Terrill." Bob says as he and Peter both try to explain before the group go silent hearing a clock before stuff begins moving and turning on around them as the phone then rings.
"I think the guy with the curse should answer that." Bob says scaredly as he looks at Peter before Peter then hesitantly goes over and picks up the phone.
"Hello? It's for you." Peter says as he hands Jupiter the phone before the group is quickly chased out by objects in the house and keep running until they are a good distance from the house.
"So how do you explain what just happened Jupiter?" Peter asks as he looks at Jupiter while the group sits down on the ground.
"I can't. That's what makes this a particularly difficult sort of extraordinary case. The kind I like." Jupiter says.
"Where do we even start investigating?" Bob asks.
"Preferably not back in the house. Least not tonight. I've had enough surprises for one day." Alexis says as she shifts back to human form.
"Well in this notebook Terrill wrote that he hid a secret in the house. And my parents said the dancer would give us a clue with her eyes. Except the dancer called the Russian swan has no eyes because she has no head. And remember what Caroline said as she left the house? Look we have to find out what Caroline knows about the Russian swan." Jupiter says as he is holding a book before standing up.
"Okay just as long as we never have to ever go back in that house again." Peter says as he stands up.
"I guess we can stay out here." Jupiter says as he looks around.
"In what? Sleep on the ground?" Peter asks.
"It's not that bad." Alexis says as she stands up.
"Says the girl who's part wolf." Peter says as Alexis glares at him causing him to smile nervously while bob stands up.
"I came prepared. Sardines, water, and inflatable tent." Bob says as the tent inflates.
"That's not a tent. It's a life raft." Peter says.
"It's better than sleeping on the ground." Bob says.
"He's right. Nothing we can do right now. Besides it's dark and there's no point in us wandering the woods at night in an unknown area. Let's just get to sleep." Alexis says as Jupiter nods.
