"I'm glad the mini vacation went well."

Izuku smiled.

"He doesn't say 'I love you' often but I think I really don't have anything to worry about."

Mei smiled as she rolled on the bright red paint on the wall of her shop.

"I was a little worried. You do have a temper when you're upset..."

He sipped his coffee. He didn't have to agree with her- she already knew she was right.

"You sure you don't want me to help you?"

Mei shook her head, "I love painting. There's something about it that's relaxing besides the pain I get from on coming carpal tunnel."

He snickered.

"I wish I could live by the ocean."

She arched an eyebrow at him.

"You liked it that much?"

"Last time I went, I spent a week on the beach. It helped me calm down and find myself again."

Mei dipped her paint roller back into the paint tray.

"I hope Tomura doesn't screw this up."

Izuku looked away.

"Why do you say that?"

Mei put the roller down and looked him in the eyes.

"You're the type of person who loves deeply. Someone who loves hard and you fall hard. I don't want you to hate the world if he ends up hurting you. I am worried now, only because that villain is back in town. Himiko might've turned over a new leaf but that doesn't mean Dabi will. Neither one of us know how he feels about your boyfriend or what he would do to get him back."

Izuku swallowed hard as his eyes welled up with tears. She took his hands and gave a gentle squeeze.

"Not everyone can give up their ex like you did. I still love and care for Tenya after a few years and things are getting where they were. Dabi is a villain but it doesn't make him any less human. He may or may not have feelings. He could be angry the League of Villains fell. He could be mad because he loves Tomura and he's with you."

"I know," he whispered.

She dropped his hands and hugged him tight.

"I love you. You're my best friend."

Izuku buried his face into her shoulder.

"I love you too Mei."

After a short while, they let go of each other. Mei returned to painting her wall and Izuku pulled out his phone. No messages and no calls. Tomura had spent most of his night staying awake and working. Tomura had been doing what he could to learn about the robotics and the complex math they knew.

I really wish he would call. He hasn't called me much lately since the vacation. Maybe I'm thinking too much about it and I need to let it go.

"You want go home and relax? I can bring home fried chicken and such."

Izuku nodded, "That sounds good."

"Good, it's settled then. Go take a nap. You look like you stayed up all night."

"I kind of did."

"I kind of thought you and him were fucking for the last two days."

He put his phone down to stare at her.

"No, it's kind of been a while."

She made a face.

"That's weird..."

"Yea. I mean, I don't expect that all the time but I mean... I feel weird about it? I don't know."

"He may just be stressed or depressed or both. That kind of things messes with the sex drive after all."

Izuku nodded.

"I need a nap. See you later."

Mei dragged herself to her front door. She had no idea how the hell anyone could be up at three in the morning but she was and she was pissed. She heard the knocking on her door. She pulled open the door to see Tomura standing there with a plastic grocery bag in his hand and a laptop bag on his shoulder. She blinked thinking she wasn't seeing right.

"Do you always answer the door in a shirt and no underwear?" he asked.

"I do when I think there is something wrong and wondering why my door is being knocked on. Besides, how I sleep is up to me. Don't judge."

"Um... ok."

"What's the problem anyways?" Mei asked, before rubbing her eyes.

"I need help. I can't figure out this formula you guys gave me."

"Why don't you ask your man? He's just as good as me."

Tomura looked away.

"I wanted to... I wanted to show I could do it without his help."

"Is it really or are you avoiding him all together?"

She watched as the ex villain clenched his jaw.

"You two have such a difficult relationship. He pretty much would do whatever for you. If you asked him to jump off a cliff he would do it."

Tomura only nodded.

Mei scratched her head, "Look, it's early. I need sleep and I want to help. Let's do this at the coffee shop around eight in the morning... Make it nine actually. I didn't go to bed until one. I was painting the inside of the shop."

"Oh... Well..."

She gave him a murderous look and he stepped back one step.

"Alright, alright."

"Nighty night, Tomura. Be good."

He swallowed hard.

"Yea."

Mei gave him one last weird look and closed her door.

She walked halfway to her bedroom when she stopped in her tracks. Mei bit her lip.

What if this was some way for him to ask for help? Oh my god- I fucked up!

She ran into her bedroom and pulled on shorts. Mei found of flip flops she had in her closet and grabbed her keys on the way out the door. She threw open the door, hoping Tomura was still there but him and his car was gone. She pulled on her dreads hating herself more than she had in a while. She pulled out her phone and dialed the ex villain.

The phone continued to ring and finally went to voicemail.

SHIT SHIT

Mei jumped in the car and floored it trying to find him before he did anything stupid. She went by his apartment and banged on his door enough to wake the neighbor. His car wasn't there. It wasn't anywhere she had seen him at before. She even went to a few parks around the city but he was no where to be seen.

Tomura looked around. He was hoping Mei would want to talk but she did look tired. How could he blame her? He was exhausted as hell too but he hadn't been able to sleep. Even on their vacation, he tossed and turned all night. He was glad Izuku slept through it... He didn't deserve him. He didn't deserve anything.

He slipped a gloved hand through his messy hair. He was really beginning to hate himself. All Tomura could think about was Dabi. Since he saw him, Dabi was in his mind constantly. He had to know after all these years... How did he really feel? Maybe this time, Tomura wouldn't run and face him.

Common sense would tell me to fucking run from him. I did it the first time. All I'm going to do is talk to him. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less. I can do this. I need some kind of closure.

"So stupid."

Just as he slipped a hand inside his hoodie pocket to grab his phone, he heard someone call his name.

"Tomura!"

He whipped around to see someone running for him.

Ugh-

He started running. The ex villain hated himself- especially for running away... He had no idea who had called him because he wasn't paying attention but he didn't want to stick around to find out. How the hell did he manage to run as his first response? What the hell happened to him? He was so into his thoughts, he didn't realize he was backed up into an alley.

With a dead end.

Tomura slapped the wall his with gloved hand. He punched it knowing it wasn't going to do anything. Any muscle strength had been gone for years. Maybe if he just tried to hide in the shadows, the person wouldn't find him. As he mentally cussed himself out, someone entered the alley behind him.

"Tomura? Is that you?"

Chills went down his spine.

It...

He turned around and pulled down his hood slowly. His fiery red eyes locked with Dabi's electric blue eyes. For a few moments, neither one of them said anything. Tomura didn't feel a lick of hatred in him. He didn't know how he felt staring at the guy who destroyed his life. He just had the feeling of numbness.

"It is you."

He opened his mouth but no sound came out.

"Fuck, I missed you!"

Dabi walked quickly to close the space between them. Tomura swallowed hard as he held out his arms and the other man embraced him. They smacked into the brick wall. He sobbed into his shoulder leaving Tomura stunned. He could feel the heat coming from Dabi's body thanks to his quirk.

The sudden emotion feeling like he was home washed over him.

Dabi pulled away and grabbed Tomura's face.

"I fucked up so bad and I'm sorry. I am. You have no idea! I was terrible and I was just a selfish piece of shit..."

He still couldn't speak. He was just stunned.

"Tomura, I love you. I messed up so bad. What I did... It was fucked up. I'll never do it again. Can you forgive me? Please?" Dabi pleaded as he brushed some blue gray strands of hair from Tomura's eyes.

"I... I forgive you."

Dabi's eyes watered up a little bit.

"Damn, I don't even deserve that at all. I don't deserve this either."

The villain pressed his lips against Tomura's. He didn't stop him either.

The world washed away as they stood there embraced. The kiss Dabi gave him was hot and hungry... Something he had been missing for a long time from him. He missed him. Tomura missed him. Everything he needed was right here. Right here.

"D-Dabi."

"Hm?"

He placed his forehead gently against the ex villain's.

"I'm... I'm with someone. I'm sorry-

"Oh."

He stared at Tomura a little longer.

"I don't care."

"Wha-

"I spent the last few things about you and what I did. I took you for granted and I need you back. You complete me."

Dabi took his hand.

"Let's go."

"Ok."

They ran out of the alley. Tomura had no idea how long they were running for but his legs were burning. Dabi stopped him in front of a tall apartment building. It looked pretty decent to Tomura. They went inside and onto an elevator. The ex villain noticed the big smile on Dabi's face and it was so cute. He really looked happy.

Once they hit the eleventh floor, they got off the elevator and ran down the hall to the apartment fifty C. Dabi finally let go his hand and unlocked the door before pulling him in. Tomura shut the door behind him and Dabi locked it. The two of them embraced again for another hot and steamy kiss.

Soon, clothes littered the floor all over Dabi's apartment. They ended up in his bed, tangled in the bed sheets moaning and groaning. Pillows were knocked off the bed and a lamp was knocked over onto the floor. It was the hottest thing Tomura had experienced in a long time- because it was forbidden.

Because he cheated on his boyfriend.
