A/N: I made a promise to my readers that I would warn ahead of time if the story took a dive into the darkness. This story is rated M for a reason. This story is not intended for kids. You have been warned.

Maren made it to the bed as the picture spun again this time into the same man but in between her lover's legs, smiling as he leaned down to taste what belonged to her. Elsa. Maren choked back the bile in her throat. Elsa's magic began to whirl with great force around the room causing Anna and Maren to both shield their eyes. "We have to move." Anna yelled to Maren as she pulled on her shoulder. They both scrambled back towards the opposite wall as the ice queens magic started twirling at an alarming rate. It shot down towards the prone figure on the bed. Maren and Anna covered their ears as Elsa screamed in agony when her magic slammed back into her body.

When the light faded in the room, Maren and Anna pulled their arms down, shocked that Elsa still looked like she was sleeping. "What just happened?" Anna whispered out. "I'm not sure, but it looks like her magic is angry." Maren whispered back. They jumped as Elsa sat up gasping and immediately cried out at the sudden movement as her ribs protested. My magic is pulsing throughout my body. She shakily pulled her hand up to itch her ear. Oh god. She lightly moaned at the satisfying itch as she realized she wasn't alone. Her hands began glowing ready to defend herself. "Elsa?" Maren and Anna whispered at the same time. She lowered her hands as she looked over at the two wide eyed women, and her heart felt like it was shattering. "I..I..I am so sorry." She whispered out. Maren and Anna scrambled over to her, when they went to reach out to her, Elsa flinched causing them to drop their arms. "You have nothing to be sorry for." Anna whispered out watching as Maren wiped tears from her eyes. "Anna is right, You don't have to apologize." Maren said as they carefully sat down. They sat on Elsa's bed for several minutes in silence before Anna cleared her throat. "Elsa, Who attacked you?" Anna quietly asked. Elsa stared at her sister as tears fell faster. "I wanted to go to Ahtohallan, and I was waiting for Nokk. I was so stupid. I should have waited until morning." Elsa looked down at her hands. "It was Iver, but he had help from his brother Hans." She quietly whispered. "Hans?" Anna didn't think she heard right until her sister nodded.

Anna stood up and looked at her sister. "This is war." She grounded out as she went to leave the room. "Anna, wait." Elsa pleaded. "In order for there to be war we have to have undeniable proof for the council. Right now, it's my word against theirs." Elsa made a move to get out of bed, wincing as her body protested. Maren went to reach for her, but she pulled arm out of her hands. "I can't…" Elsa started to say as she collapsed on the floor. Ouch. "Elsa look at you. You're covered in bruises. What they did to you is in my opinion punishable by death. What more proof do we need?" Anna argued back. Maren scooted off the bed next to her frail girlfriend helping her to her feet. "You have got to stay in bed." She reprimanded as she guided her back in the bed. Elsa's magic was ricocheting throughout her body, "Nobody but Nokk saw them, and he can't speak to anyone but me! I'm saying no to this war!" She yelled as her icy blue eyes hardened. She closed her eyes trying to keep her magic from exploding. The temperature in the room rapidly dropped as Elsa tried to reel her magic back. I don't understand why my magic is reacting this way. Elsa tried to steady herself as ice began cracking down the walls. "You guys need to leave." Elsa whispered out. Maren and Anna looked at each other with unease. "Elsa. We are trying to help you." Anna walked forward reaching out her hand. "It is taking all of my energy to prevent my magic from hurting you. Please go!" Elsa ground out, squeezing her now closed eyes.

Elsa took a steadying breath as she heard the bedroom door open and close, Conceal, Don't feel. She jumped when she felt someone touch her arm. "You're not going to hurt me, love." Maren softly said as she sat down. "I'm not in control, Maren." Elsa whined out as she warred with her magic. "I know you're not, but you know I can't sit back and let you suffer alone." Maren sadly said. Elsa grunted as she lost her battle. The snow began to whirl wildly around the room. "Please go, I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I hurt you." Elsa begged looking up into warm brown eyes. Maren leaned forward and pressed her lips against Elsa's. "I can't do that because I'm in love you." She whispered against cold lips. The snow halted with a crackling pop. Maren slowly pulled back and lovingly looked at the winter spirit. Elsa's eyes fluttered open, she couldn't help but stare into warm chocolate eyes. Why is she looking at me that way? Elsa looked down at her hands. "After everything that has happened, I'm not worthy of your love anymore." Elsa sadly said as she watched the tears freeze and fall from her face waiting for her suspicions to be confirmed. Maren's heart shattered as she looked at her broken girlfriend. She reached over and pulled her chin up. "I'm not going anywhere. When you were missing I was devastated, and When I saw the bed where you were..." She cleared her throat as she continued. "When I saw what happened through your magic, I felt as if I had let you down. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I let you go through this alone." Maren finished. "Wait, were you in the farmhouse?" Elsa asked in surprise. Maren nodded her head. "What do you mean you saw with my magic?" Elsa asked in horror. "It was if your subconscious was showing us what happened to you." Maren took a steadying breath. "Well pieces of what happened to you." Elsa's mouth opened and closed unsure of what to say. "What did it show you?" She squeaked out. Maren swallowed thickly. "Nothing that will change us." Elsa shook her head left to right. She closed her eyes as Maren lovingly cupped her face, the winter spirit leaning into the touch. "Elsa, Were you raped?" She carefully asked as she rubbed her thumb down the bruise on her face.

A/N: Just a fair warning, Saturdays and Sundays my posts will be a little later in the afternoons because I am off work and tend to sleep in lol. To my guest reader, I'm glad you double checked. If that's easier for you, you can make an account (they are free) and set it up to alert you through email that the story has posted a new chapter by favoriting or following a story. :) There are many questions that will be answered in coming chapters. Where did Hans and Iver go? How will Elsa make it through this? Will Anna respect her sisters wishes? Was Elsa raped after she blacked out? Most importantly, What's up with her magic? ;) Your feedback in chapters tends to help me decide what direction to go in. I can't wait to hear what you guys think of my posed questions. :) See you all tomorrow.
