thank your for the reviews Liv. hope you enjoy this chapter. i got a new laptop, so it should be easier to write than on my phone. this time the book within the story is based on TERFs really.

Remus sighed and lay back in the armchair. the armchairs in Hogwarts were always unbelievably comfortable. they made you feel as though you were floating. Remus suspected they were magically enchanted. Remus felt his eyes shut and began to doze off. five minutes later, he was rudely awoken by James and Sirius charging downstairs, as Sirius let out a torrent of swear words. "I'm going to kill her, James, i swear to god, i'm going to kill her." Remus felt as though he had missed something very important. "who are you going to kill? and why?" he asked, not sure he wanted to know.

"my darling mother. " Sirius said, a heavily sarcastic emphasis on darling. "shes sent me a letter. warning me not to associate with Muggleborns." Sirius let out a barking laugh, that made him sound mildly insane. "she claims that they are responsible for helping muggles to persecute us, and that they, and muggles, should always be second best to us." Sirius said. "but why?" Peter asked. Peter was sat in the chair opposite, eating chocolates he had found in some random place.

"she says that the muggles once treated us as inferior. so, as such we should get to treat them as inferior. so that they cant oppress us. and she believes that muggleborns arent real witches or wizards, that they only fake being magical, that they steal our power. she's mad. shes using oppression to justify oppression." Sirius said. "thats not right. nothing justifies oppression. " James said. Peter nodded quietly in the background.

Remus knew that was Fenrir's way of thinking. oppress the humans because they oppressed us. and look where that got me, Remus thought bitterly, it led me to being a werewolf, trying to live with even more restrictions than if Fenrir had not attacked. Remus stood up. "im gonna go read for a while" he told his friends. he walked up the stairs, and began to read his book.

it is most unfortunate when werewolves decide that scaring humans into submission is the way forward. it comes from a place we can pity, it comes from being oppressed. but those werewolves take it to far. oppressing others is never the right choice. in truth, you would end up stuck in a circle of oppression, an endless cycle. just look at wizards and muggles. in the 15th century muggles persecuted wizards. and then, the wizards fought back. again, with Grindelwald, the anti wizard attitude meant laws such as the one prohibiting marriage between wizards and muggles were passed. the muggles kept attacking witches and wizards, people such as Mary Louise Barebone campaigned to have wizards and witches killed. this then led to wizards hating the muggles, and led to Grindelwalds reign of terror.

sometimes i fear its happening all over again. this new threat named Voldermort, and generally anti muggle stance most wizards and witches have, i fear may lead to a new war. we are stuck in an everlasting loop of hatred. i do not think it will ever end, unless, like Romeo and Juliet, we can forget about past feuds long enough to fall in love. to love one another as equals. but if we cannot, then civil blood will make civil hands unclean forever more.
