A sequel to my 1st Beast Wars story. After the Quantum Surge hit the planet, many Maximals & Predacons undergone a change into Transmetals. Even new Transformers called Fuzors enter the war. But even more shocking, is few humans gain strange powers & become like Metahumans. The war & battle for the 'Key' enters a new chapter. One where the stakes are higher then before.

16. Chapter 16: Transmutate

Greetings dear viewers, sorry this took so long. Had to work around other things, but no fear. The VISION-KING has provided the next chapter. It's a very emotional one I'm sure fans wanted to see, a first and only appearance of a certain character from the Beast Wars series. But as you check it out, there will be some surprises, including what's to come next. So until then, kick back, and enjoy what's to be seen…

Chapter 16: Transmutate

THE PRED BASE

The scene begins to open in showing a blue energy liquid in a container, slowly flowing through a set of tin tubes. Apparently they were attach to a robotic arm, almost similar to what folks treat patients in hospitals. The one sitting in a command chair was none other then Megatron, who was sound asleep by his snoring. Apparently after that big battle, he was busy recovering while resting. And right near the side of the chair was an attach table which had on it; the Spark Container which held Rampage's half Spark.

"Cough-cough, hmm…?" Megatron lightly coughs while continuing to snooze.

Suddenly the slide doors made a response, but opening in two ways. As light came from there, we found something force the seal doors open. It was Rampage in Beast Mode, the dangerous bot formerly known as Protoform X. He snuck inside on his crab legs, and in front was the prize he sought: his half Spark. Rampage was seen reaching out his right claw, reaching to regain his freedom…

"GRRrAAGH!" When without warning, Megatron respond in an active awareness to grab the Spark Container before Rampage.

"Guuuagh!?" Rampage yelps to back away, realizing he been found out.

"Did you REALLY think to catch me so Unaware?" Megatron rotates his command chair to remark about Rampage's attempt to steal back what he took from him. "I think you need a reminder? Ye-es-s-s…" He firmly proclaimed as he held the Spark Container before squeezing the Energon spikes to cause it harm.

"MRrugh-NRruagh!?" Rampage yelps as his body exhibits spark volts, as he felt the pain of half his Spark effect him. "You made…your point!" He moans to admit when Megatron was right and he was out of line.

"Never forget who holds the essence of your Spark?" Megatron lectures to remind the guy of what he holds is his very life. "And thus, is your master." He narrow his eyes in reminding Rampage, who he serves since he can control the dangerous bot.

"That…I promise you…" Rampage urged out to say in a bittersweet tone, knowing so long as Megatron holds his Spark, he cannot go against the Predacon Leader who can harm him.

"Lord Megatron…" Then approaching the outside of the chamber was Sky-Byte in Robot Mode. "Is everything alright?" When Sky-Byte asked this, wasn't long until he was accompanied by Drago Wing who also heard a disturbance.

"It is now. Apparently someone thought to acquire what is in my possession. Only to get a taste of what happens to those for disobedience." Megatron remarks to sternly gaze at Rampage's early attempts to reclaim his Spark from his grasp. "But moving on. Is there something to be reported to me?" He ask in why these two bots are here besides the commotion.

"Nothing as of yet sir. After the attempt to wipe out the Protohuman species, many of our units are still recovering or return to their stations within our territories. Being ready for any Maximals." Drago Wing gave a report on their current situation after their falling out during a big event Megatron wanted them to do which fell apart before it was even achieved.

"I see…" Megatron firmly respond in taking that somewhat with a disapproval motive. "I was so close with both the Golden Disk and the Key in my grasp to let it all slip away. We must double our efforts." He proclaim forth in what they must do for future events without having such setbacks.

"As you command, lord Megatron." Sky-Byte and Drago Wing saluted in response to that order.

ELSEWHERE AT THIS TIME

WITHIN PRED TERRITORY

The scene was opening in some dry canyon field with dry trees & rocky hills & mountains. Then a strange rumbling was occurring, as several crows made their squawk sounds to fly away, the entire area shook quite a bit.

"Oh man…?" Rattrap's voice was heard before we spot him in Beast Mode on the ground. "There's a whole lot of Shaking going on around here?" The metal rodent exclaim to tap the ground, remarking of the shaking that's more then normal.

"Tell us something we don't know Cheese-Breath!" Jackrabbit was hopping nearby after hearing the rodent complain.

"It seems very unlikely that Megatron would build a Jamming Station in such an…Unstable Region?" Silverbolt was seen in Beast Mode to state how abnormal the area is that their enemy couldn't build something if the foundation was this unstable.

"Heh, you mean it's no…FAULT ta His? Eh-Heh-Heh, Heh…" Rattrap remarked to laugh in making a funny joke pun about the area with how things fall apart so easily from the shaking. "Eh, heh-heh, get it? Fault?" He lightly calms down to see if someone got his joke.

Course Silverbolt just stares at Rattrap because the joke seems to escape one's understanding of it's meaning.

"Fault…Earthquake? Hello?" Rattrap shook his left paw and tried to see if anyone was there to get his joke reference.

"Yes I…I see? Hah-hah…" Silverbolt slowly responded in what Rattrap meant as he lightly laugh off to not be left out. "Most amusing." He humbly and politely stated for the rat's deed with some compliment.

"Sheesh!?" Rattrap wipe his forehead off in seeing some bots just can't get the joke right away.

"Did you even get it?" Jackrabbit whispers to Cheetor nearby along with Streamline & their gynoid friend Artemis.

"Ehh, let the rodent have his moments." Cheetor waves off in knowing Rattrap needs moments to see not everyone gets his jokes. "You pick up any Jamming Towers near us Artemis?" He turns to their gynoid friend who was using a scan device to locate Pred Jamming Towers.

"Negative. Perhaps this area lacks stability to maintain a functioning tower?" Artemis

"Ehhh, well de Boss Monkey wants us to check it in case there is one. So nuts ta that being either a true or a false lead until further said otherwise." Rattrap remarks in knowing their commander believes nothing until real facts prove if things are well or not.

"Well, lets keep moving. Not like nobody's gonna notice us straight away, right?" Streamline tries to be cheery for everyone to not look at the worse that's ahead of them.

MEANWHILE

AT PRED HQ.

"Maximal Units Detected." A female voice announced the number of Maximal signal icons on the digital green map screen. "In Grid Deltron." She announced the location as Megatron firmly absorbs what he heard to study the grid map. "Coordinates – 036." Soon the location of the Maximals were zoom in from another screen Megatron studied.

"They're after my New Jamming Station!" Megatron firmly issued in realizing what the Maximals were up to. "Ahh, I believe we can put your 'Delightful Rage'…to good use." He turns to happily tap his fingers in addressing the manner of someone's unhappy situation to direct it elsewhere.

"Hrrmmm-Hmmm…." Rampage only made a low upset moan, knowing that his anger has yet to settle but Megatron wants him to direct it at their enemies: just his luck.

"Scorponok!" Megatron calls out from the open hallway, as someone race other.

"Here sir!" Scorponok responds as he enters briefly.

"Prepare the Trans-Warp Gate to send Rampage out. Have him meet up with Inferno and Buzzclaw." Megatron instructs on what he wants to do in sending Rampage out.

"At once Lord Megatron." Scorponok saluted before heading off to do what he's been told.

"Off you go, just remember…who's in charge." Megatron made a sly smile to help give a push in the right direction…for this difficult bot to follow.

"Nrrrrugh…?" Rampage growls lowly in knowing he's truly hating it that he has to obey because of such underhanded methods.

BACK WITH THE MAXIMAL PARTY

The scene refocuses on where the Maximal group of Silverbolt, Rattrap, Cheetor, Jackrabbit, and Streamline along with Artemis are together while formulating a plan.

"I'll scout those peaks! Artemis will ride with me of course." Silverbolt points towards the peaks ahead of him. "Streamline! You take Jackrabbit with you to follow behind me." "Cheetor! Perhaps you and Rattrap can cover those crevasses." He turns to instruct Cheetor on what he and Rattrap can do.

"You got it!" Streamline replied off eagerly on the given order.

"We're on it Bird-Dog!" Cheetor eagerly nods in replying to that request.

Soon Cheetor pulled out his thruster jets from under his waist sides, as he took off. And as Cheetor rocket off, Silverbolt flew from behind to go in different directions while giving Artemis a ride. Lastly Streamline flies off with Jackrabbit riding her to be the rear.

"Hey! Deh, Wait UP!" Rattrap yelped as he transform to Vehicle Mode to rev on through the area to catch the others.

But as Rattrap drove through one area, the strange earthquake began to occur again, causing some rocks to fall down.

"More tremors?" Optimus Primal's voice was heard during the whole scene…

ELSEWHERE

AT THE MAXIMAL BASE

The scene changes to the Maximal Base where a digital image of the planet shows a split of different layouts: from one location shows a root coming from the core towards the surface like a growing tree.

"And they're building an intensity?" Optimus was in Robot Mode in studying the scene from the display about the large tremor events.

"Optimus, according to the data, a strange pulse of Energon is causing all this." Jeremie was nearby to state the latest find on the cause of the tremors.

"Do you think it's like that time so much Energon was stable and massive, it lifted a mountain off the ground?" Aelita asked in thinking this was like the event of so much Energon caused a climatic change to lift a whole mountain off the ground: hence they called it the Floating Mountain before it's destruction.

"I'm not sure, but ever since the Quntuam Surge, I'm not waiting to find out." Optimus firmly issued that he rather not take any chances of things that were hard to explain are like before the change.

Then nearby we spot Rhinox in Robot Mode, studying a digital map on the console screen of moving red dots. We also spot Dive-Bomb, Volpex, Shellter, and Liepard working on the other consoles.

"It gets worse. One of our team's close to the Epic-Center?" Rhinox informs Optimus of those closest to the scene.

"Isn't that the one were we sent Artemis to help out in dat area?" Volpex questions of who was with a certain group to explore that area.

"Then we should use a Warp Gate and…?" Shellter suggested what to do here, however…

"Won't work. There's a Jamming Tower nearby interfering both Warp Gate travel and communication." Rhinox shook his head to sadly inform those about a problem that's yet to be resolved. "And with Megatron Jamming us…" The big bot knew that because of the Pred's Jamming Tower, any long range attempts will be jammed.

"I'm Going After Them!" Optimus Primal announced forth in taking the task to warn their comrades in a perilous situation. "I'm not in the MOOD to Lose ANYMORE Friends!" Optimus sternly points to himself & wave a hand down in sternly making his claim.

"Optimus, we all know how you feel. It hasn't even been a week since one of our own fell in battle." Dive-Bomb firmly mentions what was troubling their commander, it was about Dinobot.

"Like I said, I'm in no mood to lose anyone now." Optimus coldly stated to end the discussion rather then bring it up.

With enough said, Optimus was seen leaving the command center, not in a particular mood to discuss things any further. Everyone in the Command Center can tell what went through Optimus' mind. Ever since the Predacons tried to destroy a valley of the beginning point of new human creatures of Nexus Earth, many cannot forget Dinobot's struggle and sacrifice. They lost a good comrade, and everyone has yet to let go of such heavy burdens even while continuing things with the exception of one less bot around.

BACK IN GRID DELTRON

The scene reopens around the dry canyon location, and things were not peaceful. The quakes were growing that the ground was breaking apart on the scene. And Rattrap was driving himself right onto the scene happening.

"Wah-Huh! HAaah!?" Rattrap yelps to screech his wheels to stop suddenly. "WOOOOOAH!" Now the rat on wheels was trap on above a made hole with no way out. "Kiiiiiiitteeeeeee-caaaaaattttt!? HEeeeeeeeellllp!?" Rattrap felt the vibration before he was trying to call out for help.

"Air Cheetor to the Rescue!" Cheetor flew nearby to stop as he proclaim this before dive-bombing down to save those in need.

"Neeeh!?" Rattrap yelps as he change from Vehicle Mode to Beast Mode for more leg mobility. "GEEEAAAAAAughhh!?" Rattrap leaps up before his ground collapsed, but yelps from midair before falling downwards screaming.

Cheetor flew near to spot who was in peril before going after who he needed to save.

"EEEEeeehhh?!" Rattrap continues to screech in terror in seeing this was it. "De-WAAAugh!?" Then Rattrap yelps as Cheetor grabbed his tail to fly those grounded over the now rocky spike ground canyon that was forming.

"TRIissvhmm…" Suddenly without warning, a strange metallic ring sound was heard, & a strange purple-like Energon Build-up occurred around the current Maximals near the tremor area. It was too much that Cheetor lost his grip on Rattrap to let those save fall while soon to join them were the rescuer.

"GUuagh!? Neeeh!?" Rattrap yelped upon hitting the ground hard while still experiencing a strange purple Energon Build-Up.

"GWUUAugh!?" Cheetor hit the ground afterwards, experiencing the same painful feedback as the rest.

While the effects were lifting, the ground splits before those grounded. Then a large canyon wall shot upwards before them, and then rocks began to fall downwards.

"DUUAguh-Uuugh!?" Rattrap yelps to cover his head as he was being buried under rubble.

"GUUAGh!?" Cheetor yelps as a heavy rock fell on him as he too was buried as any signs of light were disappearing. "Eh-Ehhhh!?" The cat bot made moan sounds from passing out after being buried under the fallen rubble of rocks. "Ugh…Uggh!?" The camera changes to show Cheetor's paw from the rubble as he moans while the only thing of Rattrap seen moving was his tail.

The bots were buried under the rubble made from the tremor. But as we zoom away, something was seen above the area on the form cliff hill.

"Beep-beep-beep-beep, beep…" A beeping sound originated from what appeared to be a fallen Stasis Pod which also experienced the strange Purple Energon Build-Up.

BACK AT PRED HQ

"Priority Alert!" Then a female voice was heard which earn Megatron's attention. "Seismic Activity Has Uncovered Stasis Pod – In Grid Deltron." The monitor screen displayed the number of Predacon icon symbols approaching near a red dot of the tremor before a zoom screen appeared. "Coordinates – 917." The system announced as it pinpoints the location of the Stasis Pod discovered.

"Ahhh, Stasis Pod!?" Megatron replied off in sounding intrigue by this unexpected find. "Megatron to Inferno!" Then rotating his command chair, Megatron began to contact the one leading the assault.

"Trisvhm…/Yes Royalty!" Inferno was heard responding to being called forth.

"Proceed to Coordinates 917 at once!" Megatron gave a firm order in what task he's giving to Inferno. "There's a Stasis Pod there, and I Want It!" He issued to firmly demand the pod within the area.

BACK AT GRID DALTRON

The scene shows Inferno in Robot Mode having received his orders from Megatron on retrieving a Stasis Pod.

"Then…You Will HAVE IT!" Inferno proudly proclaimed he shall obtain what Megatron demands. "For the Glory of the Colony!" He proudly salutes in acting out like what any soldier would do. "Buzzclaw, with me!" He turns to Buzzclaw nearby for him to follow the flying ant bot. "Hahahahah-Ha…." He laughs out, but during the same motion Rampage was in Vehicle Mode to notice something occurring just as Inferno flies off on his jet-thruster with Buzzclaw following behind.

"Where is that Bug going?" Rampage asked off puzzled in seeing such a suspicious action: they got Maximals to deal with yet Inferno heads in another direction. Why?

Meanwhile, we spot Silverbolt flying overhead performing a scout routine. Artemis rode on his back as she used the scanner to read out the tremors.

"The shaking has stop, perhaps we must contact those on ground patrol." Artemis suggest what they do next after the shaking had cease.

"Agreed. Cheetor! Rattrap! Are you alright?" Silverbolt held his right wrist to his mouth to speak in the com-link.

But instead of a reply, there was static interfering…

"Come in! Do you hear me?" Silverbolt called out for a response to his comrades.

Yet there was no response on the com-link, this began to worry those that something happened.

"Hmmm…Something must have happened? I'll get in contact with Streamline and Jackrabbit." Artemis exclaim in sensing trouble before contacting their other group members.

Just then Silverbolt yelps in from his optic eyes display show Inferno and Buzzclaw on the move.

"Inferno? Buzzclaw? And they're heading right towards our Comrades!?" Silverbolt describe the situation that was happening before him.

"I've contact Streamline, inform them of our situation to back us up." Artemis inform Silverbolt of what she's done during this situation.

"Good, because it seems we may need them. Hang tight!" Silverbolt issue forth in knowing what's ahead will be dangerous.

With a heroic trumpet sound, the brave and noble Fuzor soar off in heading after the villainous Predacon on the move.

NEAR THE POD SITE

The scene focuses around the central location of the unearth Stasis Pod located above a tremor made cliff side. Then hovering down from above the pod sight to land was none other then Inferno and Buzzclaw.

"Well, this is an odd moment to find a Stasis Pod after all that shaking?" Buzzclaw exclaim from never guessing they find something like this after that weird tremor thing occurred.

"Ahh, a blessing in disguise. I will retrieve it before the others come." Inferno proclaim in what he'll do before anyone else comes upon the discover Stasis Pod. "Nrugh-Arrugh!? Then 'I' will stand again at the Royalty's side! NRugh-Arrughm…" Inferno was boasting out loud his ant base personality of what a solider should be as he pulls the pod away from the cliff onto the solid ground. "TRrisvhmm…/Dooowagh!?" Then the pod displayed purple energy feedback that made Inferno yelp to drop the pod.

"DNA Scan…" The pod's male computer spoke to try to perform it's system function… "Malfunction! Data Tracks – Offline!" The system responds while the pod was vibrating from the strange purple energy feedback. "Cancel…Cancel!?" The pod's computer repeated as there was a malfunction occurring.

"Ugh, is it suppose to do that?" Buzzclaw asked in thinking this was not a normal thing when securing Maximal Pods.

"Something is Happening?" Inferno yelps to move away, this action is very unlike precious Stasis Pod recoveries. "Inferno To Megatron!" Inferno uses his com-link to get help from his leader from the unusual response from the pod.

"Back Off – Villains!" Then Silverbolt was heard making a hero's line which made the enemy turn to notice the Wolf Fuzor on a spiky peak from above with Artemis riding on him. "Megatron will not Twist this Innocent to his Dark Designs!" He heroic announce what he won't allow to happen to the pod he sees before him. "I will not allow it!" He spoke with such nobility to protect those innocent and have not been lead down by corruption.

"Heh! You will be too Busy BURNING to Prevent It!" Inferno taunts to laugh as he brought out his Flame Launcher to aim at the annoying hero.

"Right! There's two of us and just you with some foolish Non-Transformer!" Buzzclaw remarks in seeing that two Preds can take down one Maximal and a little gynoid easily.

"I take offense to that remark." Artemis mopes in feeling that was rather a harsh thing to say.

"Well here's some pay-dirt!" Streamline's voice was heard from above the area.

"CHARRRGE!" Jackrabbit's voic e was heard as she and Streamline were coming in for a charge attack dive-bomb special.

"What the…/POWVvhmmmm…" Buzzclaw looked too late before Streamline tackles him off into the air. "WAAAAAAAAaugh!?" The Pred screams as the two Maximals take him for a joy ride.

"Hugh?" Inferno was surprise by the attack that took down Buzzclaw

"Artemis, you stay, I'll handle this one." Silverbolt instructs the gynoid to stand aside while he handles the enemy.

"Okayu." Artemis got off Silverbolt so the Fuzor can fight.

"GRAARRughhh!" Silverbolt growls to fly down with talons in front of the surprise Inferno.

"GUUAAAAugh!?" Inferno tried to getaway but yelps from Silverbolt flying him off over the cliff. "This won't Save You FUZOR!" Inferno snaps against the bot thinking this will stop him from destroying Silverbolt.

"And this won't hurt you Predacon." Silverbolt proclaimed with a nobility sentiment of a remark comment. "MUCH!" He finished stating about how much this may hurt the enemy.

"WAAAAAAAHHH!/SPLATVhm…." Then when Silverbolt released Inferno as he screamed, was sent flying to splat himself against the rocky wall. "Gruvhmm…/SPLAT!" Then the enemy drag downwards before falling and hit the ground hard.

Meanwhile back where the pod was located, it was still exhibiting purple energy buildups. It was vibrating at an unusual rate due to the strange energy flow. Artemis was on the scene to quickly work in activating the Protoform Maximal inside before the Predacons could get to it.

"I must activity the pod…prepare DNA Scan." Artemis plugs one cable from herself to help the pod prepare it's function.

"Unable To Comply…System Damage…Energy Output Exceed Limit…"The pod's male computer voice was heard reporting the current state that was occurring. "Stasis Pod Functions…Unable To Repair…Spark Endangerment Detected…" This alert surprised Artemis, the pod was not going to last and worse, the Protoform will not survive.

"Oh no…I must try something…anything…" Artemis "These energy readouts….what could…?"

"TRRRisisvhmmmm…/AARRRrugh!?" Suddenly Artemis got electrocuted by the energy that knock her off her feet and fell on the ground.

Then another shaking was heard, except it was by a heavy vehicle. As Rampage was seen entering on the scene before stopping. Then Rampage transforms into Beast Mode, and then went straight for Robot Mode before eying what was ahead of him…the Stasis Pod.

"What Are You?" Rampage raised an eyebrow, puzzled by what he sees for the first time. "Another like 'Me' perhaps?" He asked puzzled about the pod while recalling if it's origin was much like when he came from a pod.

"Ugh…" Then Rampage heard a sound, saw a cable connected to the pod lead to a fallen Artemis struggling to be halfway up.

"Hmmm? Aren't you that little robot who aids the Maximals?" Rampage narrow his eyes in remembering this gynoid from aiding the Maximals. "Tell me, you were trying something now, weren't you? What is this…why does it remind me of what I experience?" He ask in demanding answers from one who can give them to him.

"Stasis Pod….endanger….must…save Transformer inside from…" Artemis groans to state words of an answer while emitting a purple flow of pulse energy.

"Hmmm, a Transformer…then would that mean…?" Rampage took interest in learning, the Spark of a Transformer lies in the pod just as he was place.

Rampage was seen reaching his hand forth, as he was about to touch the pod when…

"Trissvhm…/Nraaugh!?" Rampage yelps as he felt a strange purple energy stun his right hand which intrigue him. "Hmmm, such power?" He was intrigue by the power the pod emitted and it's quite strong. "You! Help me and maybe I'll spare your life." He turns to Artemis on the ground, preparing to grab her to make the gynoid cooperate.

"Step Away – Monster!" Silverbolt was seen transforming to Robot Mode, as he lands with hands to his waist in a heroic pose when addressing Rampage as he seem ready to attack.

"Silver….bolt?" Artemis replied a bit damage in seeing the bot return.

"Never fear milady Artemis….this fiend shall not harm you or the pod! I'll fire the moment he tries anything." Silverbolt proclaimed assurance that he will stop Rampage from doing anything to her or the pod.

"Arugh! Fire!?" Rampage snarls before snapping at Silverbolt's attempt action. "And you'll destroy what you seek…to save." He issued that if Silverbolt attacks him, the pod will be caught in the crossfire.

Silverbolt narrows his eyes, seeing that he can't try any risky actions that would endanger the innocent.

"Overload!...OVERLOAD!" The pod's male voice announced as purple energy surges to vibrate the Stasis Pod. "Deconstruction Imminent!" The system announce the results occurring within the pod.

"Yes…YES!" Rampage clutch his fist, as if sensing something from the pod. "I can 'Feel' your Pain!? Your 'Depression'…You Spark is Powerful!?" He exclaim in sensing how strong this one's Spark is. "Fight your way Free! FIGHT!" He encourages what lies within to fight it's way to freedom.

"EEEAAAAAAAHHH-AAAAAAAAAHHhhhh…" A strange eerie scream was occurring as the pod was emitting a brighter purple energy.

Rampage steps back lightly, Silverbolt gasp, Artemis stared with wide eyes, as the big Pred held an arm over his head to brace for the worse…

"KABOOM!" Then without warning, the Stasis Pod exploded to release a massive energy wave.

"GRRrr…" Rampage yelps as the energy wave went pass him. "WAAArugth!...NRAAugh?" He yelps from having endured that power that pushed him slightly back.

"AAAAhhhh!?/CRASH!" Artemis was shot across as the plug was snap off and she crash against a nearby rock.

"BAM!/GRAUUOOoh!?" As for Silverbolt, the explosion wave knock him off the cliff edge. "BAM!/GRAAAugh!?" And made a heavy impact on the ground below from his aches. "Hugh..Nrruagh? Hurgh-Nrruagh!?" Silverbolt struggled to push himself up while his body displayed a purple energy feedback surge effecting him. "Urgh…Urgh…Nrrruagh!?" But as the energy faded, Silverbolt regain himself and his surroundings.

"Neh-Hech-Neeeugh!" Then we hear a voice of something trying to remove the rubble off. "Peuff! PEUFF!" Then popping out was Rattrap having endure being buried alive and like a rat, dug his way out while spitting out any dirt from the mouth. "What in the Name of My GREAT AUNT ARCEE is going on HERE!?" Rattrap shrug off his arms to ask what's happening after being buried.

"ARrugh!? A Stasis Pod!" Silverbolt groans from the pain to stand while stating the manner. "We must NOT let Rampage have the NEW Maximal!" The noble warrior issue what they must do to protect an innocent life. "Not to mention, Artemis is still up there!" He informs of another of their own is in trouble as she did not come down with him. "HURRY!" He yells as he transforms to Beast Mode and flies upwards.

Cheetor was soon seen clawing his way out of the rubble to look around while having heard everything.

"Let's HIT IT!" Cheetor announced his go-getter attitude before flying off on his thrusters to grab the metal rat's tail.

"Deh-Hey-HEY-HEY!?" Rattrap was yelping from the sudden tug on his tail before being swoop up by Cheetor. "Let Me Down, You CHROME HAIRBALL!" He snaps in demanding he be released as Cheetor flew them up to the cliff.

"Whatever you say?" Cheetor shrug his shoulders to do as Rattrap demanded.

"DWEEEAAAAAhhhhh!?" Then without warning, the cat lets go of the tail as Rattrap was heard screaming as he plunge downward. "SMASH!/KAAAAugh!?" Then a loud heavy impact on the ground with Rattrap's aching voice was heard, Cheetor look away briefly in thinking that musta hurt.

As we look down to see Rattrap had his upper body bash on the ground and his rear facing up in a funny way.

"Very FUNNY!?" Rattrap recovered to position himself to shake a fist up at the cadet trying to pull his leg to let him go and hit the ground. "HEH!" He huffs from being annoyed by being someone's joke. "Now…where's this…?" He was about to look for the new Maximal they heard about…

Suddenly, a strange noise was heard of moving rubble that was nearby the metal rodent.

"Huuugh!?" Then Rattrap gasped in looking at where the noise came from. "Heeeeeh!?" Then his eyes went wide as he lightly gasp upon looking at precisely what they were looking for.

"Hey Cheese-Breath!" Then joining Rattrap was Jackrabbit as she jumps off of Streamline as they along with Cheetor and Silverbolt come together. "What's with the face, did you find the Maximal?" The youngest cadet ask in being curious for an answer.

"Heh, did I find it, look for yourself!" Rattrap remarked as the other Maximals soon followed to see what the rodent meant, and many gasp in surprise.

Standing before many was the Transformer from the exploded pod surging from the purple energy surge before it was fading away briefly for a full feature description. It appeared like the exoskeleton frame of the Transformer Protoform, except it had now outer layers to appear more skeleton limbs by a robotic design. It's main color design theme was light tan brown, and only the color theme of light turquoise on some parts on the body from the three toe feet, one left three finger hand expose pipes under the chest region, shoulders, tubes connecting from the back to the head, and a chrome dome head plate. The body was almost 'C' shape from the waist then curves upwards for the chest area. On the right side was what look like blaster. The neck area that seem to be on a moving slider to help go just up and down. The head seem almost like a metallic plastic face that vaguely indicates a female with red optic color eyes. It seem almost like a Transmetal figure of a Protoform without any Beast Mode features.

"Ahhh…" Rampage gasp slightly at the sign of what he sees before him. "Magnificent…" Rampage replied in awe by the sight of such a creature.

"Man, I am tellin' ya, the things coming out of these pods is just getting weirder and weirder..." Rattrap shook his head and wave his paws from stating the weirdest looking Transformer of all times But unlike the Transmetals and Fuzors, this one is more exoskeleton frame.

"I hate to agree with Rat-Face, but this time he maybe on to something." Jackrabbit exclaim that this was one case, Rattrap was right about something this weird shows up out of other Transmetal and Fuzor bots.

"Do not be discourage friends. We should, welcome what is different. Not fear it?" Silverbolt humbly suggest they don't misjudge the new Maximal just because it's oddly more different then them.

"Well, thank you Mister Sunshine!?" Rattrap rhetorically remarks to Silverbolt's ever noble persona in being the honorable type. "But this ain't exactly a Tea Party we got BREAKING out here!" He remarks that they still got problems which leaves discussing for another time.

"He's right, we have to stop Rampage and get both Artemis and this new bot out of harms way." Streamline stated to agree on seeing the dangerous threat still around.

"Then let's transform without delay!" Cheetor proclaim in what they gotta do first.

Soon the Maximals group transform from Beast Mode to Robot Mode, preparing themselves for anything.

"They are you enemies…" Rampage softly spoke to the innocently puzzled Transformer who turn to notice him. "Join me…And Destroy Them!" As Rampage spoke, the new Transformer saw things from a red optic view but with no extra system function to just observe while the one here orders one to destroy.

"He Lies!" Silverbolt shouted which made the bot turn to focus it's red optic screen at the Maximals while showing a curious puzzled expression. "Predacons will only USE you! We…extend the Hand of Friendship." Silverbolt explained while helping to kindly offer the new bot proper guidance.

The new Transformer seem to smile in finding that word 'friendship' like a nice sound. The idea of having 'friends' showed that it like it very much. Silverbolt smiled in believing that the new Transformer understands, and that it's innocence has not been corrupted by evil.

"That CREATURE Is the PROPERTY of the ROYALTY!" Then Inferno flies upwards from behind to surprise all in demanding those surrender the new bot to his leader Megatron.

"Where did he come from?" Jackrabbit yelps in not expecting this ant bot to show up.

"Watch out!" Streamline alerts those to take cover before it's too late.

Realizing Inferno was about to attack, Silverbolt quickly evades. "POWwvhmm…" But as Inferno fired a missile too late, it's target would not hit Silverbolt. "BOomfruvhmm…" Instead head straight for the new strange Transformer as it exploded into flames after it endure the attack.

"RARRRrugh!?" Rampage roared in fury, Inferno ended up attacking this new creature by mistake.

"Ahhhh-AAARRRAAHHHHHH…." Suddenly the new creature was letting out a strange metallic scream from what happen to it. "AAAHHHHH-AHHHH-AAAHHHH!" Then a purple energy field surrounds before expending from the bot.

"Huh?" Silverbolt yelps upon what he was seeing.

"Hugh!?" Inferno also yelped puzzled by what was happening.

"AAAHHHHHH-AARRRAARRHHhhhhhhh!" The new creature was unleashing some sonic screams within the purple energy flow that slowly expands all surroundings.

"GRAaugh!?" Then Rampage yelps from a strange purple energy build-up harming his circuits.

"AAAhhh-AARrugh!?" Silverbolt also yelps from the untold pain he was experiencing on his body.

"Deeeeh!/EEEEEeeehhhh!/AAAAAaahhhhh!/Ugh-Ugh!? TAaugh!?" Rattrap, Jackrabbit, Streamline and Cheetor were also experiencing the same energy attack damaging their bodies.

Finally after a brief moment, the new creature cease releasing it's sonic scream attack.

"Ugh-Ugh!?/TEeeugh!?/Guuugh!?/AAaugh!?" Cheetor, Rattrap, Jackrabbit and Streamline yelps from the pain before it stop and they fell face first onto the ground.

"Nurgh-AArugh…GUAGH!?" Silverbolt was released from the attack before dropping to the ground as well.

Rampage was very astounded by what he had seen, this creature before him may seem oddly weird on the outside, but it's power is something else. Though the body is Transmetal, it is Mutated, as if almost…Trans-Mutated into something that to some find disturbing, but to him…it's beautiful…

"Transmutate…" Rampage spoke towards the strange creature by ushering a name for it. "Do not speak. None shall hurt you now." He kindly spoke in approaching the strange bot that was curious by his words. "Come with me. Come…" He softly offered to guide the creature as it seemingly followed curiously while walking a bit strangely. "I will protect you….I am your friend... your only friend." Rampage kindly states this in wanting the creature to know they are friends…

As the Maximals were recovering, Silverbolt awoke first to notice what events occurred.

"We must…Save It!" Silverbolt exclaim in knowing they have to save what Rampage fooled to make the new Maximal follow him.

"Eh-Heh-Heh…Save…It?" Rattrap aches from getting his bearings before remarking what Silverbolt just suggested. "Oh Get REAL, Bolt! We're lucky to be in One PIECE!" Rattrap remarks the fact from what they experience, they were almost done in by that creature.

"Everyone…" Then struggling to stand up to approach the others, was Artemis herself. "Ugh…I'll help…with checking everyone's conditions…and repair needs." She issued in wanting to help those in need of aid.

"Artemis, you shouldn't bother. You were near the blast, you should rest." Streamline insist the gynoid not push herself after what's happen.

"I'm fine…That attack early…didn't phase me…as much as all of you." Artemis spoke in trying to make it seem, she was still fine.

"It didn't? Wow, talk about lucky?" Jackrabbit exclaim in thinking Artemis got lucky that time. "Now I just wish some other luck would come our way." She exclaim in wanting to wish for something good to come their way.

"Foossvhm…" Then something was whooshing from above the Maximals to take notice.

"Ahh, Optimus." Silverbolt sign with relief in who had showed up. "Thank the Matrix." He exclaim with relief in knowing Optimus will help them rescue the new bot.

"Someone wanna tell me what happen here?" Optimus ask what even happen that everyone was like this.

"Well Big Bot, it's a pretty Weird Story?" Cheetor replied in how to best describe what they experienced.

Optimus raised an eyebrow, knowing this maybe something that will be even harder to swallow then what he was prepared to expect.

ELSEWHERE AROUND GRID-DELTRON

The scene changes to show somewhere by a rocky bottom cliff, Rampage and the new creature were together. The big bot was studying the new creature who was as tall as him, yet lack a few things.

"Hmmm…Partially Transmetal? But otherwise, Mutant Form?" Rampage was studying the creature's unique design features that were almost a mix of Transmetal and Fuzor like frames. "A Transmutate like I first thought!?" As Rampage said this, it caught the creature's attention in hearing that phrase of what 'it' was. "Do you, have a name, my twisted friend?" He asked the new bot if it knows it's own name.

That question puzzled the new Transformer creature, as if trying to understand it's own nature and more so…an identity. Suddenly a strange engine thrust noise was heard, causing the new bot to become surprise and look who was coming down: Inferno. Then flying onto the scene after was Buzzclaw as he lands while panting from being out of breath.

"Where have you been?" Inferno looked to Buzzclaw for missing out much action.

"Hey! That rabbit and her flying friend flew me and got wedge between a cliff. It took me hours just to break out and find you!" Buzzclaw remarked what he had already been through to miss out; but then noticed the new creature with them. "Gyyyaaah! What the heck is that thing?" He screamed in never seeing something this freaky until now.

"What Megatron wants from the Stasis Pod. Now stand aside Rampage!" Inferno announced as he lands on the ground while speaking to Rampage. "I will bring this prize to the Royalty!" After closing his thruster engine, he announced this while saluting to take the creature to Megatron.

"Bwaaah! Have I told you how much I like ants? Huuugh!?" Rampage huffs before making a rhetorical remark about his view of ants like Inferno's Beast Mode feature. "Especially fried, in a subtle blend of mech fluid and grated gears?" He made an insult remark on how he views ants and what he could do to the soldier bot that's mindlessly an obedient bot to Megatron's will.

"Ohhh, I think he just called you out?" Buzzclaw exclaim in seeing what Rampage just did without batting an eye.

Inferno clutch his hands when hearing such an insult before pulling out his Flame Missile Launcher. Then Rampage brought out his Triple Launcher to aim at his foe. It seem like Inferno and Rampage were about to open fire on another as the new creature watch puzzled as a side middle figure of this confrontation.

"Stand down!" Then a voice was heard giving an order to those about to fight.

That's when Inferno and Rampage cease their dispute in recognizing Megatron's voice. Buzzclaw was a bit shaky, uncertain where the voice even came from. Then some sphere device floats near before expanding it's self to display the head image of Megatron by a visual communication device.

"Lord Megatron, heh, what a surprise?" Buzzclaw sheepishly smiles in never guessing their leader would make a physical appearance rather then on a com-link channel.

"Yes, well lets move on. I will Speak with this Newcomer." Megatron firmly gave order to speak to the newest bot among the present Predacon company.

Now Megatron's visual head hovers around to study the new creature as it innocently watches with fascination.

"Hmmm…? It has power…but does it have brain?" Megatron hums to himself in having his device scan to determine the power output of the creature, but the real question lies in intelligence. "You! What Is Your Name." Megatron addressed the strange new Transformer creature to identify it's self.

"Trans…mutate." Finally the new Transformer creature spoke in a female voice like an old computer tone in having announce the name that suits it's self.

"Transmutate…?" Megatron raised an eyebrow in acknowledging the given name of the new bot they obtain. "An ugly name for an ugly creature?" He was a bit baffled to believe something so outrageously disturbing by Transformer appeal, went by such a name. "I wonder what it could possibly turn into?" He smiles lightly in pondering about a different mode this one possesses. "Let's see, shall we? Inferno! Transform!" This perk his curiosity before turning to address the fire ant bot nearby.

"As you command!" Inferno humbly respond to the order given by Megatron. "Beast Mode!" As Inferno announced, he soon transforms from Robot Mode to Beast Mode.

Transmutate studied this action as a first lesson in what a Transformer is capable of doing.

"Buzzclaw…you Transform as a second means and then Transform back." Megatron gave another order to the other bot nearby.

"Well alright…Beast Mode!" Buzzclaw shrug off to simply reply before transforming to his Beast Mode state. "Buzzclaw – Terrorize!" He announced before making a loud cry before transforming back into Robot Mode.

"Now...You do it. I Command You!" Megatron asked forth while being a bit firm in wanting Transmutate to transform.

"Beast…Mode…" Transmutate slowly respond the same code activation as the previous demonstration.

But upon looking over it's self, Transmutate had discovered it was still the same, it did not transform.

"Teeeugh?" Megatron huffs with a disappointed tone in seeing some difficulty in transforming.

"TRRRRY!" Rampage encouraged Transmutate to transform harder this time which it struggled to force into it's Beast Form. "You MUST Do This!" Rampage clutch his hands to encourage the new bot to do this task in transforming into it's second form.

"…Beast Mode!" Transmutate seem to understand, and tries to clutch and struggle in transforming it's self.

But despite it's struggling effort, what happen was a single pipe piece pop out of it and fell to the ground.

"Uuugh….well that was somewhat disturbing to see?" Buzzclaw yelps from seeing a loose part just popped off like that.

"It cannot even Transform?" Megatron observe the results of the test that despite Transmutate's great power, it can't even Transform like other Transformers. "This thing is useless." Megatron remotely stated in seeing no value in Transmutate being among them. "Get ride of it!" He firmly orders the disposal of the useless Transformer.

"NOOOO!" Rampage protest out loud against such action.

"Oh my?" Megatron lightly remarks in what Rampage just did as his head frame vanished. "What a short memory we have?" Then an image of Rampage's Spark was seen as Megatron's hand was squeezing the box with Energon spikes onto it.

"DEeeugh-NUUaaugh!?" Rampage yelps as he bares the energy surges of feeling his Spark in pain course through him. "GAaaugh….Hasty to waste…So Much POWER? Gugh! Give It A CHANCE to prove it's self?" Rampage aches while trying to beg that Megatron allow Transmutate to demonstrate it's raw power.

"Very…well. One Chance." Then Megatron's hand vanished to show his head frame to smile in allowing such an open request. "Have it bring me the Heads of the Maximals invading our Territory." He smiles evilly in granting a means for Transmutate to prove it's worth. "But If It FAILS…Destroy It." He firmly narrow his eyes to darkly state what happens if this thing fails, it'll be destroyed.

Transmutate heard this order from Megatron yet it felt a bit uncertain. The way it's being treated as if just barely fitting in. If it does not prove it's self, then it's new life may come to an end.

MEANWHILE

THE MAXIMALS SITUATION

The scene changes to the spot where the explosion from the Stasis Pod were all scattered. Optimus Primal was on the spot in Robot Mode to study the wreckage

"Rattrap. You and Cheetor return to base and fill Rhinox in." Optimus Primal turns to give orders as Rattrap in Beast Mode nods his head in confirming that order. "Streamline and Jackrabbit scout more of the area for the Jamming Tower." He turns to give orders to Streamline as she nods in accepting the order. "Silverbolt, Artemis and 'I' will track this New-Life." He points to himself in confirming what the other half will be doing as Jackrabbit and Cheetor nods in agreement before bringing out his thruster jets. "If your up to it?" He turns to see if Silverbolt will join him.

"Absolutely!" Silverbolt respond in eagerly wishing to partake. "And…thank you." He humbly thanks his leader for allowing him to join in the search.

"Don't mention it. And Artemis, are you also up for this. I know you sustain damage…" Optimus replied while checking if Artemis was well enough to aid them.

"My system has been briefly repaired, I am ready to assist." Artemis confirm that she will not delay any progress.

"Well alright then." Optimus nods his head in giving the final okay.

Soon Optimus jumps to transform from Robot Mode to Vehicle Mode as he hovers on his hoverboard.

"We'll cover more ground if we split up." Optimus instructs the Wolf Fuzor in what they must do in this situation. "But stay in touch!" He points to Silverbolt who transform to Beast Mode to remain in contact.

"Understood." Silverbolt replied in confirming the order so that if anything happens, they will know. "Lady Artemis, care to join me once more." He offered to give the gynoid another ride on him.

"Affirmative." Artemis nods her head as she climbs aboard on Silverbolt's back.

"Then, let us be off!" Silverbolt proclaim forth in readying themselves.

"Up-up, and away!" Jackrabbit announce forth this battle cry out of nowhere.

"Wow, sounds like you been into those comics Odd's been showing you." Streamline stated in how the little rabbit got that line from a comic book. "Still, good luck to you all." She stated to the rest on what they all gotta do.

Once everything was settle, the groups were split off to a return group, a tower attack group, and a search group. Hopefully everything will go smoothly, but sometimes they can never expect things to go right at certain times…

SOMEWHERE ELSE IN GRID-DELTRON

The scene changes to where Inferno was flying by his engine thruster rear and Buzzclaw flies beside him. While up ahead in the front, Rampage and Transmutate walk together.

"We will serve, for now." Rampage whisper this towards Transmutate to hear nearby. "But soon, we will find a way to 'Destroy' our Oppressors. Together." Rampage mutters this with such fierce motivation to clutch his left hand of a future the two can go against those submitting them into obedience.

"Speak up!" Inferno snaps out against those in front. "I won't have you freaks plotting behind the Royalty's back!" He demands there be no plots against Megatron and his leadership.

"I was explaining what it means to be a Predacon." Rampage pretends to sound sincere in what he was telling Transmutate about the Predacon way. "Deceit, treachery, MINDLESS loyalty..." He boast about the qualities many Predacons share.

"Loyalty comes FIRST!" Inferno salutes in proclaiming what all soldiers must have: loyalty to serve. "Don't you agree Buzzclaw?" He turns to hear Buzzclaw's thought on the subject of what comes first.

"Ugh, right, sure…loyalty…?" Buzzclaw was a bit sheepishly in thinking that loyalty may not always be the first thing on the Predacon agenda.

"All soldiers must be loyal to one leader." Inferno proclaim forth without question of what all loyal troops need. "Now tell us. Where are we going?" He ask in demanding where they are heading.

"To let the Maximals find us. Of course." Rampage shrug off his shoulders to state what they are doing as Transmutate follows along what they are doing.

"I see…" Inferno taps his chin to scratch it from absorbing this intel. "WHAT!?" Then he yelps because they are suppose to find the Maximals, not let the enemy find them.

"I'm in agreement, why would we let THEM find US?" Buzzclaw protest that such an idea is a very bad thing.

"Why search when we know the Maximals are looking for us, all for this one." Rampage points to Transmutate, stating the Maximals are searching because of what they have. "We simply give them a reason to find what they seek where it's…convenient." He darkly proclaim how they can use what the Maximals want for their own means to an end…

MEANWHILE

SILVERBOLT'S SEARCH SITE

The scene opens around the open skies where Silverbolt was flying with Artemis riding on him. They were trying to search for any signs of Rampage and the new creature that follow the Pred.

"Hmmm…" Artemis looked ahead to the ground, as if something caught her attention.

"Is everything alright Artemis?" Silverbolt asked from sensing the gynoid was distracted.

"I am…alright. I just…sense something nearby. Strange, I don't know why my system has such a function." Artemis was puzzled by why she felt something in a direction, she does not have such a feature.

"Hmm, let me scan ahead, maybe you might be onto something…" Silverbolt insist to help find more answers to this puzzling riddle.

The scene later changes to show through a Maximals' optic eyes, the scan displaying the ground. But closer view shows a scan reader zooming in on a figure on the ground.

"There it is! Optimus! We have found it!" Silverbolt's voice was heard as his optics zoom to discover Transmutate lying on the ground. "It looks…injured?" He reports the situation of what's happen to the new Transformer creature. "I'm going down." He announced as we see the Wolf Fuzor fly downwards to the spot.

"But why was it left behind?" Artemis asked a puzzling question, did the Predacons not want the new creature.

"Who knows, but we must help it. It's the Maximal thing to do." Silverbolt proclaim in knowing they cannot leave it if it's hurt.

Soon Silverbolt reaches where Transmutate was before transforming into Robot Mode and Artemis got off during the process. Transmutate lifts the head to notice who was here, remembering Silverbolt from earlier.

"Do not be afraid. I've come to help you." Silverbolt kindly and softly spoke delicately in offering aid to the new Transformer by offering a hand.

This puzzled yet intrigue Transmutate, as it wonders about what it should do in this situation. But then Rampage pops from a nearby rock to aim his weapon forth. Silverbolt narrows his eyes seeing one enemy, then looks up.

"Hugh, it's a trap!" Artemis gasped in seeing what was happening here, the enemy used the new Transformer to bait them in.

"MOVE!" Silverbolt shoves Artemis out of the way in the nick of time, but not enough for him to react fast enough.

"Pow-Pow-Pow!" Then Inferno from above fires his Missile Launcher directly at the target.

"Bam-Bam, BAM!/GRAAAugh!?" Silverbolt endures but yelps from the damage he was bearing.

"POW-POW, POW!" Then Rampage fires his Triple Launcher at the Maximal target.

"Bam-Bam!/GRAAAugh!?" Silverbolt yelps louder from the increase damage pain he was feeling.

Wasn't long before the Predacons began to cease firing at the target to see what happens.

"Haah…" Silverbolt aches from dropping to his knees while in pain. "Why?...UUrrgh!?/Smack!" Silverbolt utter one word before he fell directly forward to smack on the ground face first completely out cold.

"Silverbolt!" Artemis was about to run to her friend, but… "Ugh!?" Without warning, something flew down to apprehend the gynoid and it was Buzzclaw.

"Sorry! Your little bow-wow is out like a light!" Buzzclaw remarked to say that Silverbolt is taking a long nap now.

A puzzled Transmutate leans down to study what has happened to Silverbolt, and shows an expression of wonder: a sign of curiosity and worry.

"Wakey-wakey!" Buzzclaw held a struggling Artemis before he kicks Silverbolt to roll on the ground until he stops.

Soon we see optics opening up, only to see Rampage and Inferno staring down at the spot. A flash from sunlight made it hard to notice, but it was shown that Silverbolt was on his backside having a hard time regaining consciousness.

"We'll keep the head for the Royalty!" Inferno proclaim what they do in present a Maximal head as a trophy for Megatron. "Transmutate!" He then turns to give a soldier's call out to the bot nearby. "Destroy the rest." He gave strict orders for the new Transformer creature to follow through.

"No! You can't!" Artemis protest in not wanting this to continue.

"Hah! Oh really, wha'cha got to trade for his life, the Key perhaps?" Buzzclaw remarks in seeing if she can give them a reason not to end Silverbolt.

"Key…?" Transmutate respond curious by that term name.

"Oh you know, the most powerful thing that we want to rule the universe, the child of the Creator, yatta-yatta…" Buzzclaw rolled the optics in having to explain what the Key is to Transmutate who doesn't know. "Heh, maybe she can give you an improvement." He made a sly remark that the Key could even give Transmutate a new makeover.

"I watch what you say next unless you want to end up scrap!" Rampage threats Buzzclaw if he dares try to say anything further.

"Enough stalling, Transmutate, you must prove yourself. Destroy the Maximal!" Inferno issued in wanting Transmutate to show them it is worthy to be a Predacon.

Though Transmutate heard the orders, it looks down at the fallen bot. The red optics from within Transmutate show Silverbolt, as he was in pain. Then looks to a struggling Artemis, wanting to save someone, despite being weak…she cares.

"You must do it, my friend." Rampage softly pushes for Transmutate to follow through the order. "Channel your Pain at Him. Then…release it." He encourages to help Transmutate focus the power it holds to be properly guided.

"Is that really what you ask a friend to do?" Artemis looked in seeing what Rampage was trying to do to this poor bot.

"Hmmm?" Transmutate looked to Artemis, curious why she debate.

"A real friend, wouldn't ask you to do something like this. You must understand that this is wrong." Artemis exclaim that no real friend should make someone do something they never done before.

Transmutate studies things while processing how it can perform things. Yet at the same time, still baffled about doing something like…destroying one that wish to help Transmutate.

"Bwah!" Then without warning, Transmutate got shoved aside by an impatient Inferno: after recovering Transmutate show a sign of…upset by the action. "The Royalty was right!" Inferno announced this impatiently while saluting over the fallen Maximal. "It is USELESS!" Inferno takes aim at Silverbolt in seeing how useless Transmutate can't carry out a simple order.

"Noooo…! He-Geeh!?/Kick!" Artemis managed to struggle enough to kick the Pred holding her on his knee joint.

"Ow! My Shin!" Buzzclaw yelps from the slight painful surprise that occur. "You little!" Then he angrily threw the gynoid across the field.

"Crash!/Ugh!?" Artemis yelps from crashing against nearby rocks, temporally stun.

"Enough! Finish them BOTH off!" Inferno snaps to Buzzclaw to hurry and take care both Maximal and gynoid alike.

"AAAAHHHH-AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH…." Then Transmutate began to unleash it's sonic scream as purple energy flows around the mouth. "PUSSvhmm…" Then unleashed a beam at the ground while making it follow upwards towards a puzzled and shock Inferno and Buzzclaw who notice too late.

"YIIIIIKES! I'm OUTTA HERE!" Buzzclaw yelps to fly away before getting hit by that attack

"BAM!/GYAAAAAHHHHH-WAAAAAAAHHHHHH!?" Inferno was hit by the attack that exploded near him, sending the ant bot flying across the valley leaving a smoky trail.

"BANGFruvhmmm!/GYYAAAAAAauuhhhhh!" Buzzclaw screams from being impact by Inferno without watching his backside.

Rampage saw those sent packing in a flaming motion, Transmutate display true power just now.

"I approve. Huh-huh…" Rampage let off a dark little chuckle at seeing how upset Transmutate was to channel her attack at Inferno for his action. "But this Maximal must still be dealt with. Him and that gynoid." He points at Silverbolt that they still have unfinished thorns to remove. "Allow me…" He spoke as he was about to approach the unconscious Fuzor.

"No." Then Rampage stops when he heard an outside voice. "Allow ME!/SMACK" Then Optimus came flying down on the scene to smack Rampage with his hoverboard.

Transmutate gasp at the sudden surprise as Rampage was seen sliding backwards to crash against a rocky tower. At this moment, Optimus hovers to transform to Robot Mode before landing on the ground. The Maximal Commander looks where Rampage was, and saw he was underneath of a rock pillar which held a large flat boulder above. "POWfruvhmmm…/KA-BAM!" Then using his blaster gun from the waist, fired a shot that explode on the flat boulder rock above to shift downwards.

"DWUEeeh-EEAAAAhhhhhh!?" Rampage yelps to brace for what was falling towards him. "SPLAT/POWvhm!" The impact was the large boulder flatting all over Rampage.

"WRAAAAhhh-AAAAaaaaahhhhhh…" However, Transmutate show anger for seeing a 'friend' get attack and prepared her sonic scream purple energy attack.

Optimus saw this, wide eyes in not knowing what was about to come when…

"NO! Stop!" Silverbolt suddenly rose up to stop the new bot's action.

At that sudden moment, Transmutate cease the attack action, then look down at Silverbolt puzzled but curious.

"We….are your…Friends…" Silverbolt tried to speak his every word before a hand drop on Transmutate's feet before losing consciousness.

Transmutate suddenly tried to lift Silverbolt's hand up, but when she let go it drop down again with no action. The new creature began to sense this 'other' friend wanted to help her despite what happen.

"Hmmm…Hurt…?" Transmutate respond towards Optimus in knowing, Silverbolt was hurt from the Pred ambush.

"Yes, he is hurt. Badly…" Optimus slowly walks forward in addressing Silverbolt's condition. "But I can help him. I must get him to the base to be repaired." He explains a way to help Silverbolt get the help he needs. "And you too." Optimus address the aid to help Transmutate out after seeing this one was caring for Silverbolt's health which are not a sign of Predacon reprogramming.

"Optimus…." Artemis was heard as she was pushing herself to move, but her left leg was damaged. "Ugh….you came?" She stated in seeing the Maximal Commander arrive in the nick of time.

"I did. Your hurt too Artemis. We'll take you all back." Optimus firmly nods the head to help those that are too hurt to move.

"Yes…we must…help another." Artemis slowly nods her head in agreement.

"Help…?" Transmutate replied in hearing such a word, yet knows it's meaning somewhat.

Suddenly a loud rumble was heard that made those yelp in surprise, before noticing where it was coming from…

"NOOORRAARRRRRGH!" Yes, Rampage was forcing a claw out of the rubble, trying to get free from what had him buried.

"Rampage…he's about to…ugh, get free." Artemis alerts of the bot about to become active.

"Then there's no time to spare." Optimus firmly decided what course they must take then face down this foe alone.

Soon Optimus transforms to Vehicle Mode as he hovers off the ground. Soon Transmutate kneel down to help carry up the unconscious Silverbolt.

"Give him to me." Optimus open his arms out for Transmutate to see. "I'll fly him to be repaired." As Optimus spoke, Transmutate saw the Maximal Commander's ability to fly as if it fascinated her.

"Fly…?" Suddenly off the back compartment of Transmutate, a blue crystal emerge from the back to aim downwards: as it emitted energy, the new bot was hovering off the ground. "Fly!" She happily said as Transmutate had the unknown ability of flight discovery.

"Oh my…I was unaware it could perform such a thing?" Artemis exclaim in surprise in never guessing the new Transformer had such a function.

"Now isn't that just…Prime?" Optimus replied in seeing the new Transformer creature reveal another function it didn't know until now. "For now, you'll ride with me Artemis." He turns his attention towards Artemis in need of aid.

"Understood….hmm…" Artemis nods before she was help up by Optimus.

"Fly!" Transmutate repeats as it flew with Silverbolt with Optimus following behind with Artemis riding the hoverboard as they leave the canyon area.

"POW!/GRUUARRRGH!" Then at this moment, the rocky rubble that buried Rampage was cleared out from the big bot's strength as he stood tall from surviving that with a low growly sound. "Nooooo!" He angrily protest in what he sees leaving his sight. "You will not have it, Optimus. The Darkness of it's Spark echoes my own, it BELONGS with MEEEE!" Rampage boast out loud his rant in announcing none shall have Transmutate but him, for the power she possesses seems to respond to his own: and he won't let anyone have it.

The camera was zooming away from Rampage's rant towards the clear sky before the sunlight flash over the screen.

LATER IN THE DAY

AT THE MAXIMAL BASE

The scene changes to the day slowly reaching the afternoon/evening time. We soon notice the Axelon ship's location before zooming in closer. Inside the Command Center, we see Transmutate was rotating while underneath a blue energy scan on top of the console center table. Near the console tables in Robot Mode, we spot Optimus along with Rhinox, Dive-Bomb and Longrack as the latter ones were busy typing on the console system. The monitor display information with digital layout images of Transmutate among other details.

"That will do…for now" Rhinox turns around to gently wave his hands to ask Transmutate they are finish and can come down easily and carefully.

"Shellter, can you please show our…guest, off the table." Dive-Bomb asked a bit sheepishly in wanting someone to show Transmutate off the console center table.

"Of course, this way please." Shellter nods to help Transmutate down after being so patient.

"Hmmm…" Transmutate nods slowly as it slowly came down.

Optimus seem to feel somewhat puzzled in what the results they learn about Transmutate could tell them. But Rhinox firmly shook his head, as if stating the results were not at all too pleasant. Even the faces from Dive-Bomb and Longrack suggest what they discovered isn't at all too good.

"Heh, eh wonder what fearless leader found out about the Tire-Plug? Heh-heh, heh?" Rattrap was making a light joke comment towards Cheetor, Jackrabbit and Streamline about anything they can learn about Transmutate.

"Ugh…Rat-Face?" Cheetor slightly was puzzled before pointing for the rodent to look…behind him.

Rattrap was a bit puzzled before he turns to see what Cheetor was telling him, and sees the confused and curious Transmutate looking above him from behind.

"Heh-heh, heh…Ehh, no offense?" Rattrap sheepishly and nervously reply in thinking Transmutate heard his Tire-Plug joke. "Whatever you are?" He shrug off his shoulders in not sure what to make of Transmutate bizarre state.

"Well we know it's a female, that much is given. Otherwise you think it was genderless." Streamline pointed out the obvious thing they can determine.

"But it doesn't look like it's a Transmetal or a Fuzor like the others, or even remotely like what we look without the Quantum Surge effect." Jackrabbit exclaim in seeing that Transmutate is different compared to every other bot in the room.

"Everyone, we're back…" Then entering the area was Jeremie and Aelita from completing their own task before noticing who else was in the room. "Woah! Is this the new Transformer you found?" Jeremie yelps from being surprise by Transmutate.

"Hello…what's your name?" Aelita approach to kindly greet someone knew.

"Trans….mutate." Transmutate slowly reply the name it's chosen.

"Oh, it's a lovely name." Aelita nods in being quite accepting of something so different.

"Lovely…? Hmmm…?" Transmutate studied Aelita, as if sense something…that made her different then the other human. "You…different? Like…me?" Transmutate points between it';s self and Aelita that they, somehow share things alike: maybe because the power inside of them.

"Of course she's different, Aelita's the Key." Jackrabbit smiles to explain what this bot never knew.

"Hey, Ex-Neh on telling it who Aelita is, Hare-Ball!?" Rattrap muttered to not spill the beans so soon.

"Key? Hmmm…" Transmutate felt like it heard about the Key before, was the great power it learn about truly originates from…such a small creature.

Then Transmutate reach out it's hand as Aelita shook in response. But then from that moment, a strange energy zap their hands away: Aelita's was white, but Transmutate had purple.

"Aelita, what happened?" Jeremie asked from not knowing what occur now.

"I'm…not sure? It's a different type of Energon. But whatever it was, it's an energy source that's alien to me?" Aelita exclaim in not knowing what it was that powers Transmutate, but whatever it was…was unknown to her.

"Woah, that sounds weird? Maybe whatever kind of Energon it was cause that tremor?" Cheetor stated in thinking this may have ties to what massive energy cause such a huge tremor in the first place.

"It's possible. It was so abnormal it even affected Transmutate while in her Stasis Pod." Streamline confirms that the idea does put pieces together that relate to what happen before they found the pod.

This puzzled those very much, but was soon cut short on the arrival of Volpex and Artemis. The former had finished using her healing abilities to fix the damage gynoid.

"Wha's all de fuss bout? I brought back Silverbolt and Artemis, treatment was doable." Volpex raised an eyebrow in seeing something was happening while they were away.

"After our repairs, we wanted to see what we learn about Transmutate." Artemis stated to mention they were curious to know more about Transmutate.

"So then….What did the tests show?" Silverbolt was seen approaching those that ran a test on Transmutate and wanted to know if they can help their new friend.

"Well from what we know, its data tracks are scrambled beyond recovery, its structure is a nightmare and its logic circuits are barely at the level of a drone." Optimus firmly and sadly admits the results about Transmutate reveals the data, body and the mind are all in terrible shape. "Coupled with its sheer power, it's a danger to itself and everyone around it." He firmly informs about how the power Transmutate wields could put many in danger.

Transmutate was a bit surprise, but also express the emotion of…sadness. It did not know it poses a threat and if it can't be fix, then it may not be able to be among those here.

"But Optimus, isn't there a way we can fix it?" Jeremie asked in thinking that maybe they can help Transmutate out.

"Not so much, I ran a diagnostic scan of it's Spark, it's unstable. The report of what we know and after I look over it, shows the energy erupts throughout the body as it's own unstable Spark begins to tear it apart." Longrack sadly inform those about the case involving Transmutate is not an easy one.

"Wait! Maybe the reason for all this was because of that energy tremor. If not for that, couldn't it have been normal?" Streamline stated that this isn't Transmutate's fault, but the energy surge.

"If that's the problem, couldn't we just do what Rhinox did for Optimus and transfer it's Spark to another body? Problem might be finding another Blank Protoform?" Jackrabbit tries to think of a solution that may help Transmutate: they heard about bots transplanting Sparks in Blank Protoforms and even Optimus had his Spark brought back in a new body.

"Even if that was the case, it's not so simple." Dive-Bomb cuts in to inform those that the problem isn't that simple. "Transmutate's core consciousness and body structure are mutilated beyond recovery. Therefore transplanting a damage Spark wouldn't solve it. We don't have the means or even know if the process will work but cause something else to go wrong." Dive-Bomb explain the harsh manner of reality about doing something like this may result in something that can go horribly wrong.

The more Transmutate heard things, the more the harsh reality fell upon it's self. That there was nothing that can be done about what Transmutate is, and poses a danger to everyone around it.

"So then, what else can we do?" Cheetor asked uncertain in what they are left with to choose.

"Sorry to say, but….Best thing for us all would be to…" Rhinox was slowly stating a last option as a sadden Transmutate leaves the area. "Put it in Stasis Lock, immediately." Rhinox felt a heavy burden to do it, but it's a serious manner when left with no other choice.

"Wait a second, ye mean ta say it's best ta keep it offline where it can't hurt us? It be no different then never coming online ta begin with?" Volpex protest in thinking that might be taking things a tad bit too far in keeping a bot permanently in stasis-lock.

"I hate to say it, but…if even our best experts can't figure a way, then this maybe a last option they have to use." Shellter sadly say in not wishing they had to resort to such means.

"Are we Predacons now?" Silverbolt grips his fist to throw a fit when having heard such things that make them be as bad as Predacons. "Do we DESTROY whatever does not fit our definition of perfection?" The noble Fuzor felt like they are betraying Transmutate because it's different and beyond help of being fix to be like them.

"Silverbolt, you know that isn't the case?" Longrack tried to have the Fuzor not be so emotional now.

"Oh really, what about the humans…the children here? They are different from us, but we don't judge them unfairly. They helped us even despite not being Transformers." Silverbolt protest in wanting answers for judging those when they are not all the same.

"We all know that, but it was unavoidable. They found Aelita, she's the Key." Dive-Bomb tries to explain this for Silverbolt to process.

"She is also among your race, yet she does not appear like all of you. Correct?" Then Artemis was heard speaking as if sounding bother about how everyone sees Aelita. "She has great power, power she did not know but learn to control. Isn't it the same for Transmutate?" She can see that Aelita and Transmutate share a similar fate of wielding power but do not have the knowledge to properly control it.

"Artemis?" Optimus was surprise, usually Artemis never loses to emotion, but now seems different.

"I feel like as a machine, I can relate. But my advance A.I. cannot comprehend Transformers born with a life source." Artemis express in knowing she is not like the Transformers, yet wishes to be like those with life. "Transmutate has a Spark, we should not forsaken it because of limitations. I don't know why, but my contact has open my eyes. Maybe more so then before my studying the Alien Moon when humans made me?" She explain what she has experience and has come to learn at this point.

"Artemis, what do you mean by that?" Jeremie replied puzzled in never having seen Artemis like this, it's like she can feel Transmutate's pain.

Elsewhere within the Axelon, through a red optic view was someone walking down the hallway. It turn out to be Transmutate walking around the Maximal base, apparently distracted by many things.

"Transmutate." Suddenly Transmutate stops to gasp because it hears…Rampage. "It is me. Your friend." She taps the left head side in curiosity that she was hearing Rampage on a com-link unaware of such a thing.

The scene changes to outside the Axelon many miles away from it.

"I'm very near…"Rampage was heard outside, softly speaking out. "Follow my signal." He was seen watching the Maximal base, waving his hands to signal what Transmutate should do. "Come to me….Come…" He softly spoke in beckoning for the Transformer creature to come where he is.

Inside the base, Transmutate heard what Rampage was saying, and was asking her to come…

"Hmmm?" Transmutate tried to think in how to go where Rampage was at while looking up. "Fly!" Transmutate proclaimed in what course action she must take to go find her friend.

"Wooohh…/POvhmm…" Then without warning outside the base, something shot outside the roof area: it was Transmutate flying off.

"Beeeeep-Beeeep…/Alert! Haul-Breach In Section Seven!" Sentinel announce through the red alarm lights and sirens of what's occurred.

The Maximals in the base were noticing the red alerts in realizing something happened. Something, or someone, broke through the ship's haul. But it may not be from outside, but rather from within.

"Are we under attack? Did someone break in?" Jackrabbit yelps from this unexpected action that happened.

"Ugh, more like something broke OUT of de base?" Volpex groans to hold her forehead, knowing what must have happen.

"Woah-Oh! Eh looks like the Muddy Erectus Set took a walk?" Rattrap shrug off before rotating a finger to a head about the new Transformer creature had a screw loose to take off without warning.

"Fool!" Silverbolt snaps at Rattrap's ill-manner on the subject concerning Transmutate. "Nrruagh! Your All FOOLS!" He wave his arms out in seeing everyone was foolish because of their view against something that is unlike them.

With his words said, Silverbolt turns to leave the scene.

"Silverbolt. Wait." Optimus tried to stop the Wolf Fuzor from leaving: but the noble Maximal just kept walking away and out the hallway. "Ugh, maybe it's better if he cools off." Optimus signs in thinking Silverbolt needs time to calm down after what's happen. "But I want Transmutate found! Let's Move It!" He issue the order for everyone to search for Transmutate on the double.

"Right, Artemis, let's…" Aelita noticed the one she was calling, was nowhere in sight. "Hugh? Where's Artemis?" She ask the others if they saw any sign of Artemis.

"She's gone too? But where?" Cheetor did not know where the gynoid went off to.

"I think I saw she went after Silverbolt. You don't suppose…" Streamline was almost curious to think if maybe the two went together.

"I think we can all agree, they must have gone off to find Transmutate." Jeremie's words carry much worry, after what was said to be done with Transmutate, their friends might have felt like wanting to save the new creature.

OUTSIDE THE MAXIMAL BASE

The scene changes to show through a red optic sight, someone was approaching a rocky field. It was reveal to be Transmutate as she gently lands on the ground after her flight trip from the Maximal base. Now Transmutate looks around, wondering where her 'friend' that called her was.

"I knew you wouldn't fail me." Rampage was seen coming out from the nearby rocks as he spoke to Transmutate. "We are two of a kind…We belong together..." He proclaim this gently while offering a hand to help guide Transmutate as before.

"STOP!" Then Rampage yelps to turn at who called out, only to spot Silverbolt nearby on the scene. "This one is NOT for you!" Silverbolt proclaim under a noble manner as he rest his arms on the waist, not allowing Ramapge to have this innocent life.

"It is ONLY for me!" Rampage rose up in anger against who protest what should be his.

"SMASH!" Rampage tried to smash Silverbolt, but he leaped out of the way in time. Silverbolt was near Transmutate, before rushing over to tackle a distracted Rampage.

"Gaaugh!?" Silverbolt yelped from his strength could not topple the large bot.

"Gugh-Hahah, Hah-Hah, Hah-Hah…" Rampage let off a dark laughter at the pathetic attempt as Silverbolt shook his head to regain himself. "RARRrugh!/Kick!" Then Rampage delivered a kick that knock the Wolf Fuzor to skid across the ground, only to stop mere inches near a cliff.

Silverbolt managed to regain himself in realizing his situation was not improving…

"BWAAArugh!/Hugh!?" Then Rampage's roaring cry, Silverbolt gasped to see the enemy about to stomp him with his big foot.

"Guagh! Urrrgh!?" Silverbolt managed to grab the foot before being stepped on.

"Got'cha!/GRrrr…." Rampage issued while Silverbolt growls to keep the enemy from stepping on him to fall off the cliff.

Transmutate watches these events, a bit worried in seeing those that are it's 'friends' fight one another. As Rampage was trying to knock Silverbolt down the cliff with no mercy.

"Urrgh-Nrruagh!?" Silverbolt however used enough strength to trip Rampage to fall forward over him.

"Huuugh!?" Rampage gasped as what was happening, he reacted to grab one of Silverbolt's wings.

"GRAAAAAaurgh!" Silverbolt screams as both he and Rampage fell down the cliff before a divider path in the cliff side. "Smack!GUuuagh!?" Silverbolt yelps as he fell on top of the ground and stun a bit.

"Smack!/GRAAARrguh-AAAurgh!?" Rampage yelps as he hit the ground on his rear before being temporary out.

Now Transmutate looks over the cliff, as she was studying things that occurred. Through her red optic eyes, saw where Rampage fell on the left. Then on the right saw where Silverbolt fell.

"Transmutate…" Then Transmutate turns to find Artemis approaching when things were cleared. "Silverbolt gave me a ride and told me to stay hidden. Quickly, we have to leave." She inform the new creature Transformer that they must depart.

"Leave…hmm?" Transmutate felt uncertain as she looks back to where those had fallen.

"Grrah-Uugh!?" Silverbolt groans a bit from the pain he felt from the fall.

"ARRrugh!?" Rampage was seen getting back up while a bit in pain.

Transmutate saw Rampage getting up, then look to see Silverbolt's state. Artemis also saw that the Fuzor was struggling, but knew she had to get the new Transformer creature out of here.

"He's buying us time, I know why you left…" Artemis inform Transmutate what Silverbolkt was doing, distracting Rampage while she leads them away. "You thought you didn't have a place with us, but even still…you're not just a machine. Your alive." She tries to help the poor thing know it's not soulless, it has a life, a Spark.

"Alive…?" Transmutate replied in hearing such a thing that it is.

"Yes...You have a Spark just like all Transformers. We shouldn't judge you, you're an innocent creatures. I…" Artemis tries to explain as she held her chest area, the strange feeling growing stronger. "Can sense it, almost like a connection. Let me help you, as a friend. So you won't be hurt." She wants to help Transmutate even while uncertain why, but Artemis just has a strange feeling.

"Friend…?" Transmutate hears that word, but then refocuses down at those still fighting. "Hurt…?" It said the other word, as it put the pieces together of those belong.

"Guurragh…" Silverbolt was seen slowly pushing himself up, not done yet.

All in the same, Transmutate began to know that both Silverbolt and Rampage were fighting, and that would lead to them hurting another.

"No…hurt?" Transmutate spoke out, wishing not to see her 'friends' hurt the other.

"Wait, what are you doing?" Artemis tries to stop Transmutate, but…

"Help…Friends…No…Hurt…" Transmutate exclaim before gently holding a hand to point at the gynoid. "You…Stay…No…Follow…" She wanted to at least keep Artemis from following after Transmutate.

Transmutate leaps off the cliff, using it's flight function to hover down towards where those that had fallen to. Silverbolt was the first to notice that the new Transformer creature was coming to them.

"Grugh…Time to go BACK to the Matrix, Hero!" Rampage proclaim this to Silverbolt as he brought out his Triple Launcher.

"POW, POW, POW…/FRusvhmm…." Soon Rampage fires all three missiles off from his launcher, heading for Silverbolt. "Powvhm, Powvhm…/Frussvhmm…" In response, Silverbolt fires off two feather missiles to counter Rampage's own. "Trissvhmm…" At the moment, Transmutate summoned a purple energy sphere around it's self when coming down as the missiles were almost about to collide. "PUWFruvhmm…/PUWFruvhmm…" Then a determine Transmutate lands to open it's arms, and apparently stop the missiles in their tracks.

"Nooooo…./AAAAAaaahhhhhhh…." Transmutate announce forth while an inner Sonic Scream was emitting out during the motion.

Both Rampage and Silverbolt gasped upon seeing what was happening, Transmutate was intercepting their missiles. The energy power output was keeping the destructive missiles at bay, but they were still trying to get through.

"Primus! NOOO!" Silverbolt cried out in horror of what's happening.

"AAAAAaaaaaahhhhh…." Transmutate was struggling to keep the missiles at bay so long as her scream continue to keep the energy field up.

"TRANSMUTATE!?" Rampage cried out the name of the one he did not want to lose.

"NO DON'T!" Artemis screamed out in watching this horrible event.

"STOOOP….." Transmutate called out one word within the purple sphere… "STOOOP…" It repeats it's self, but strange blue volts occur around the two arms holding the purple energy field in place but… "GRUUAARRRRUGH-AAAHHHHhhh!?" It unleashes an agonizing screech as blue energy is released from it's entire body. "KABOOM…/BOOM!" Suddenly the energy was too much that an explosion occurred within the sphere before blowing up the missiles outside. "BOOM!/WAAAAaaaaaauuuhhh…./WOOOVVvhhmm…." A purple implosion wave spread forth around the rocky area just miles away from the Maximal Base which shook the whole region.

Once it was over, the scene changes to what has occurred. Purple energy flares were falling from the sky, almost like snowflakes. Then around where the explosion occur, fire was burning on certain parts. And then scatter all around were parts of Transmutate: a hand, a leg, a blaster arm, it's body, and finally…it's head. Though much of it was messy from the explosion, even specs of dirt on the face. Then without warning, Transmutate opens it's eyes weakly…

"Friend…" Transmutate spoke forth a word: as it's red optics saw Silverbolt a distant away from her. "Good." She issued in stating through Silverbolt, she saw as a 'good friend' to know.

Static was occurring in the vision. Then a rotation lead Transmutate seeing Artemis above the cliff.

"Friend…" Transmutate spoke out these words: but her red optics shift from different colors on Artemis. "Alive." As she mention what Artemis was, inside her was a purple light of unknown origin.

Then static occurred from the vision, before rotating where Transmutate saw standing before her was Rampage.

"Friend…" Transmutate slowly spoke weakly, as more static was occurring to become harder to see. "Dark..." Transmutate spoke about what she sees about Rampage's character as he slowly lifts up the head. "I…Aaaaaammmmm…Hurt." The finally words heard, the eyes began to shut before things went silent: Transmutate was no more…

"BRAAWWW-AARRRUUUAARrrrughh!?" Rampage lets off an agonizing cry in what's happen as he began to mope in what has been lost to him.

Arriving on the scene was Optimus, Streamline and Cheetor, as they transform from Vehicle Mode to Robot Mode. Following behind them was Jeremie and Aelita as they pick up Artemis to join down below. They landed besides Silverbolt who recover to stand, but the events that occurred still left a heavy toll of a lost life.

"Hugh…no? Transmutate!?" Aelita gasped in what she sees has happened to the poor Transformer.

"What happened here?" Streamline asked in being unsure if an enemy did this or…

"Transmutate…tried to stop them from fighting, she used up so much energy to stop the missiles but…" Artemis slowly explain the whole scene that played out to the very last. "Her body could not withstand it, the energy was too much and lead…to self-destruction." She finished on how it all happen to the very last event.

"They were right, the unstable Spark…Transmutate must have known the risk but…why go this far?" Jeremie was shock to believe that in the end, Transmutate did not stop it's self from doing what it wanted to do.

"It didn't want to see two friends fighting over her. But it wasn't good enough." Artemis sadly confirm how in the end, no one was the victor.

"I'm sorry Silverbolt. We know you wanted to help it till the end." Optimus gently pats Silverbolt's shoulder, sensing the noble bot witness such a cruel end to Transmutate.

"It's over. It's gone." Silverbolt exclaim as he mourns the lost of Transmutate right before one's eyes. "We extinguished its Spark before we ever saw its true light." He humbly states that Transmutate lived too short of a life before it could shine brighter then what everyone thought at first.

"You better return to base along with Artemis." Optimus suggest what those needed after a grueling battle and witnessing an unsettling scene. "Cheetor, Streamline and I will take care of Rampage..." Optimus Primal narrow his eyes in knowing they have to deal with the dangerous Protoform-X that's before them.

"No…let him be." Suddenly Silverbolt humbly waved an hand out against dealing with Rampage at this moment. "For the moment... we are brothers." He signs to issue this fact of what the two share at this time.

"It's sad…my chest feels…like it's crying?" Artemis held her chest as if unable to notice; a purple spark centering around the region while the gynoid felt sorrow.

"I guess this scene does make you feel like, you see both enemies can agree to one thing…and that is losing something you care for." Jeremie confirms the logic that

Many could understand the whole picture as clear as day. Silverbolt and Rampage both tried to help Transmutate, but their argument and fighting in what's best for the creature lead to it's own self-destruction. As the purple energy particles fall from the sky, this marks the day that despite what one looks on the outside, what they can do, and if they can fit in, all that doesn't matter. Just accept what others are like, even if they can never be like everyone else…

*Noted Fact: In the original, it was never explain why the Maximals couldn't place Transmutate's Spark in a Blank Protoform. So looked it up to give a little idea and imagination of why it was hard to keep Transmutate around.

Well this was a sad event, but things are not done even by a long shot. Next chapter is an original, so be ready now. After sometime has pass, the younger members of the group feel sad of those they lost from knowing the longest to even the shortest. While on a scout mission, the children and cadets notice Artemis exhibiting strange energy. But without warning get attack by Predacons, and worse thing is that Aelita and Artemis have been taken by Rampage to a secret location where Knock-Out hids with…an empty Stasis Pod with the remains of Transmutate? It's learn an evil experiment is underway to use the Key's power to bring forth a decease Transformer. Jackrabbit was tailing behind but gets lost until she encounters something even she wasn't prepare to find. What sort of encounters will everyone face, and what sacrifices may end up occurring during this time. Best to stay tune to find out…
