Chapter 19

Moving Day

Nessie's POV

My eyes fluttered open to a new day. I was ache all over in the most delicious way. I smile thinking about last night. About how Jake made love to me. It was perfect. Beyond perfect. Sex had never felt that amazing. He was so considerate and loving. I love him so much. I turn in his arms. He's still fast asleep. Guess last night tired him out pretty good. I watch him for a bit. I sat up in bed, slowly as to not wake him. As I sit I could feel a bull ache between my legs. Evidence of what we did last night. I smile.

I glance at the clock and see that it's 8:15 I stand and stretch before leaving the room. I start brewing up some coffee to start the day off. I popped a few bagels into the toaster as well. While I waited for that I started jotting down the things I'd need to get for the new apartment. A few minuets later I hear movement in the bedroom.

"Ness? Nessie!?" He calls out.

"I'm in the kitchen!" I call back.

"But what about when you have company?" I ask.

"I barely have company. Everyone I know lives in Forks and La Push. The only guests I get that use that bed are my niece and nephew and we can just get them a full bed."

"Are you sure?"

"Positive, I'm not sleeping on a queen size bed."

"Okay we'll get a twin and switch it out with your king bed."

"Coolio. Everything else seams on point on the list. We probably just need to go to three stores at most."

"Hope so."

"We'll get it done honey."

We have breakfast and watch a few episodes of The Office. Around 11:45 I decide we should start getting ready. But I also wanted some play time.

"We should start getting ready Jakey." I tell him.

"But it's Saturday." He whines. I laugh.

"We can take it slow and still be getting ready." I tell him.

"Off we go to the bedding and linen department!" I declared as I jump onto the edge of the cart.

Jacob chuckles and pushes us towards the next department.

"Ness you're only gonna have the one bed. You should be getting at least two bedding sets for now."

"Gah!! You're right." I say looking at my choices and putting one back.

"Plus you still have house warming gifts to think about." Jacob reminds me.

"I didn't even think about that."

"More then likely it'll be appliances. We'll hold off on those."

We also got a couple blankets, pillows, curtains, hand towels and bath towels, etc.

We checked out and were on our way to the furniture store.

"What do you think of this one?" I ask plopping down on a leather couch.

I sink into the cushions. Jake laughs.

"Yeah never mind, too soft." I say as Jake lifts me up.

"Hello can I help you two with anything?" A woman with bright red hair asks us.

"We're just browsing at the moment." Jacob answers.

"Well if you have any questions or need any help I'll be by the department counter."

"Oh come try this one out!" Jake says pulling my hand.

We crash onto a springy green couch. Too springy.

We venture though the lounge section. Each trying a different couch out. I sat on one deep blue cotton/ canvas material sectional couch. It felt very comfortable.

"Ah looks like you found the couch baby." He says throwing his arm around the back getting comfortable. I look for the price. I grimace.

"It's a little out of my price range for a couch. I don't know."

"Well yeah but I'm sure there's a more affordable couch I'll like."

"But we've basically tried them all."

"Then I have to keep looking. It's no biggie."

"Come on lets pick out a dinning table." I say pulling him into the dinning room section.

In the end I got a med-size round table, four chairs, two coffee tables and two night stands. They would be ready for drop off delivery Monday.

"I still don't know why you didn't get the couch."

"Babe I have to stick to the budget. If I don't then what's the point of a budget."

He squints his eyes at me but then grins. Oh no what does that grin mean.

We hop into the rabbit.

"Okay last place, just need some basic house hold items." I tell him.

We make it to the store and I stock up on house hold necessities; dish soap, TP, disposable napkins, tin foil, bathroom cleaner, toilet cleaner, mop, broom, laundry detergent, etc.

"When do you get the keys for the apartment?" Jake asks.

"Mrs. Jenks texted me today said she'd have the keys tomorrow morning. So we're meeting around 10:00-11:00. So I can pick them up."

I let him know.

"Coolio, I'm gunna borrow my dads pick up truck so we can move in the bed tomorrow. We can spend this coming week there. Getting things situated, we'll go into work together everyday."

"Don't we basically do that now?" I joke.

"Well yeah but now it'll be everyday this week. And hopefully every day after that." He leans down and kisses me.

"I got to say I was a little on edge about the apartment. I'm sorry again about that. I know this isn't gunna be forever and we'll basically be bouncing back and forth between places." He tells me sincerely.

"But now I'm really excited for you. For us. Today's been fun getting everything ready to move in. I can't wait to sleep in the new apartment with you. Set up the living room and kitchen. Help you decorate and everything. Makes me excited for when we get our own house. We'll get to do this all over again. And I can't wait."

"Oh Jake, Why are you so amazing?" I say hugging him tight.

"It just comes naturally." He says with a laugh.

"Come on. Let's get the rest of the stuff and head out. I'm starving."

"Me too let's get the heck out of here." We bolt for the checkout line. Both our stomachs growling.

We opted for burgers and fries. We found a booth and sat down.

Jacob scarfing down his burger.

I start slow on my fries. Before tackling my burger.

"So do you want a house warming party?" Jake asks me once he's scarfed down half his burger.

"Well, I don't know. It's just an apartment."

"Okay, apartment warming party then."

"Well I guess but nothing too big. Don't want to cause any problems when I just moved in."

"Okay how about just the main family and friends. Plus it's short notice. Maybe some people won't come."

"True, okay. Sounds good. But I have no couch! I'll only have four dinning chairs. Where will people sit?"

"Oh don't you worry about that. I got it covered." He tells me with a wink.

"What did you do?" I ask, squinting at him.

"Nothing my love." He says with a grin .

"Jake I'm going to kill you, what are you up to."

"Wait and see Ness."

"Grrrrr!" I growl and he chuckles.

That night we went over to Billy's for a while. Hung out, had a few beers. Told him about the new apartment. He was sweet enough to offer his truck for the move before Jacob could even ask.

I drove the rabbit home while Jacob drove the truck.

"Ready for tomorrow." He says patting the truck.

"Indeed we are. So glad this is going so smoothly. Shouldn't moving be more annoying?"

"Usually, but you're starting fresh with new stuff."

"Very true."

We head inside and get comfy. Jake puts on his usual sweatpants. I strip down and slip on one of his shirts.

"Beer?" He offers when I enter the kitchen.

"Sure." I take it from him and take a sip.

"So what's the plan for tomorrow?" He asks.

"We'll get up nice and early. Load up the tuck. Head over to Bella's to grab my car and the rest of my stuff. Get the keys form Mrs Jenks. Start unloading. Make a quick grocery run and settle in for the night."

"Solid plan."

"I'm really excited, glad I have you by my side."

"Always Ness." He kisses me tenderly.

Jake and I woke up around 7:30 the next morning. Quick shower. Got dresses. Loaded up the truck. And we where heading to Bella's around 9:00.

"Good morning you two!" I say greeting Bella and Edward.

"Morning!" Bella says kissing my cheek.

"So today's the big day." Edward says.

"Yup, giving you your guest room back."

They both chuckle.

"I made extra pancakes if you guys want some." She offers.

"I'm up for that. Just let me organize my things so it's easy to load up." I tell her

"Okidoki."

Jacob and I organize my clothes and the few things I had in the room.

"Where do you want your...unmentionable?" Jake says holding up one of my red thongs.

"Jake!" I say with a laugh as I take it from him.

"You can act like a prepubescent teen later. Put those in the black suitcase."

"Yes dear." He says kissing my cheek.

Once everything was in order we sat down for some pancakes and coffee.

"Are you gunna need us to help you move in." Bella ask.

"Bells you're pregnant. I'm not gunna have you do any work. Plus Jake and I got it covered. It's not that much to move in. On top of that the bigger stuff is being brought in tomorrow."

"I was just offering."

"I know Jelly belly, and I appreciate it. But you worry about caring that little nugget."

"We are having a house warming party this weekend though." Jacob says.

"Nothing too crazy, just a little get together." I add.

"Sounds fun, count us in." Edward confirms.

We loaded up the truck and my beetle and said our goodbyes.

"You're always welcome back here if you need us." Bella whispers to me.

"I know, thank for everything Bells. I couldn't have asked for a greater sister."

"God Renesmee, don't make the pregnant woman cry." Edward whines.

I chuckle.

"Bye you guys see you tomorrow at work."

They waved us off as we drove to the apartment.

When we got there I could see Mrs. Jenks car.

We both parked and made our way to her. She exited the vehicle.

"Morning you two."

"Morning Mrs. Jenks." I greet.

"Good morning." Jacob says.

"Here are the keys to the apartment. And here is the service elevator key. It won't work without it. And if you have any questions or concerns. Here is the building contact list. Owner, maintenance, security, etc."

"Thank you so much Mrs Jenks."

"You're very welcome dear. Always here to help. And if you need help with something else in the futures, you know my number."

"Will do, Thank you again." I say shaking her hand.

"It's been a pleasure Renesmee,"

She turns to shake Jakes hand.

"Jacob, it's been a pleasure. Enjoy!" She say as she returns to her car.

"Well, lets get to it." Jacob announce.

We started off with the small things.

The new kitchen stuff and bedding and essentials we got. My clothes, and nick nacks. Jake went over to the maintenance office to see if we could borrow a dolly to bring the bed up.

I was unloading things in the kitchen when I heard a commotion at the door.

"Lift. Lift!"

"I need you to pivot!"

Quil and Embry spat at each other.

"Whoa! Why are guys doing here?"

"Special delivery!" They both cheered.

I'm so confused.

"Nice job idiots, you just couldn't stop bickering." Jake says and he directs them the proper way into the apartment door with a huge delivery. Couch size. Oh no.

"Jake, What is this?" I ask.

"Well I knew you really liked that couch from yesterday. Sooo..."

"Jake you didn't."

"No, no I didn't. We did it." He says referring to not only himself but the guys.

"All the guys chipped in a little. The couch is a house warming gift from the tribe."

"Are you guys serious?"

"Very serious." They all said.

"You guys are the best." I says hugging Quil and Embry.

"And thank you for orchestrating this."

The guys stayed to help out for a bit longer only leaving once we had everything in the apartment. We so end the rest of the afternoon organizing everything into its place. As I was putting away my clothes Jacob came up behind me. His strong arms curling around my shoulders.

"I'd say today went by smoothly." He tells me.

"I'd have to agree. Nothing went wrong." I knock of the wood of my nightstand just for precaution.

"And it's only 4:30 we even made good time."

"Just need to hit the grocery store later." I tell him.

"Humm why don't we shower," Jacob suggests as he pulls my shirt aside to kiss my shoulder.

"That sounds wonderful. Hit the showers baby. I already stocked up the shower with the necessities."

He ventured into the bathroom and I hear the shower start running.

I finished with my clothes and decided to look around at the progress. Clothes are put away. Some nick nacks are our but I'm saving decorating till later this week. Kitchen was ready all it needed was some actual food. And living room. Barron except for the couch, two tables and a decent size tv the guys mounted on the wall.

I sat down on my couch. Those guys are full of surprises. I'm so grateful for them. Grateful for Jacob. Don't know what I would do without him.

Jacob soon finished then it was my turn for a quick shower.

After that we made our grocery trip. Grabbing the basics, plus things I wanted to cook during the week and this evenings selection.

"I think we bought too much food." I say as we restock the cart at check out.

"That's what happens when we shop hungry honey. We haven't eaten since breakfast."

"I forgot about lunch, I was on a roll with the move in." I tell him.

"Me too, let's get back so I can whip up those sandwiches."

Jake started on the grilled cheeses as soon as we got home. I unloaded and organized what we bought.

"It's starting to look like a kitchen." I say stepping back to admire my fridge and pantry.

"I'd say we're good in snacks for a while." I nod with a guilty smile.

"What do you want to watch tonight? Internet won't be connected till Tuesday but I have some good entertainment on hand." I tell him.

"Lay it on me." He says flipping the sandwiches.

"Okay..." I say skipping to the box with my movie and Tv series collection.

"We got; Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Bubble boy, Sons of anarchy, Kill Bill, Scary movie, Titanic, X-files, The Prestige..."

"I'm up for some X-files." He tells me.

"Excellent, I'll set it up."

I hooked everything up and inserted the first season disk.

"Where are the wine glasses babe?" He asks me as I prep our side items. A meat, cheese and cracker patter with a veggie dipping selection.

"One more episode. I'm getting hooked." He tells me as I clean up the coffee table.

"It's still early, we could watch another 2 if you like."

"Oh fuck, that feels so good baby."

I whisper into his ear.

"You're so tight Ness. So hot. I'm surprised I've lasted this long."

I meet his rhythm. His breathing becomes labored.

"Are you gunna come for me Jakey?" I ask seductively.

"I'm so close Ness."

I sit up right again. Leaning back on his legs. His hands are all over my front. Sliding over my hips, up my rib cage, and cupping my breast.

"Oh Jake!!!!" I scream throwing my head back as I reach down to rub myself. I can feel myself tighten up with my release. It must have sent him over the edge.

"My god Ness...I'm...I'm gunna...oh fuck baby!! Mmmmm." He says as he reaches his climax.

We slow our movements as we catch our breath. I lean forward resting on top of him. His hands caressing my back. I bring my head up to see him. He's looking right at me. I smile.

"I love you." I tell him.

"I love you too Ness."

He cups my chin brings me in for a sweet kiss.

We cleaned up and got ready for bed.

It felt strange sleeping in a different place. But and soon as Jake held me in his arms it wasn't too bad.

"What time is the furniture getting here tomorrow?" He asked as I set our alarm.

"We should beat them here by half an hour." I tell him.

"Excellent. Got a busy few days ahead of us." He tells me.

"Glad I have you to help me." I tell him.

"You'll always have me." He kisses my forehead and turns out the light.
