I was peacefully sleeping when I felt myself being roughly shaken awake. when I woke up I saw my husband Scar standing next to my bed. "wake up Lana, I need to talk to you" Scar said. I did as he said and sat up. "no, stand!" Scar shouted.

I whimpered in fear and stood up from my bed. "good. now what I wanted to talk to you about was that I have found a way for you to listen to me" Scar said. I had a bad feeling about this. "what is that?" I asked. "glad you asked Lana. I was just about to talk about that" Scar said.

Scar then held up a collar. my eyes widened in fear. "W-whats that?" I said. "this is a shock collar. it will get you to listen to me and do what I say" Scar said. "WHAT?!" I yelled. "yep. now hold still" Scar said. Scar attempted to put the collar on me,

but I dodged his move and tried to run out of my room. Scar pinned me to the floor face down. "HOLD STILL!" Scar yelled as he hit me. I was scared,

as Scar roughly put the collar on me. when he put the collar on me, he got off of me and I stood up. "Scar please get this off!" I yelled. Scar glared at me.

"no Lana. the collar is supposed to discipline you if you don't listen to me. and if you try to take it off the collar will shock you" Scar said.

I was enraged with this. "you sick bastard!" I yelled. Scar got the controller and pushed the button. when he did the collar shocked me. "Ahhh!" I shouted.

"that's what you get for not listening to me" Scar said. with that Scar left my room closing the door behind him. I fell to the ground and cried.

I was crying until my mom Uru, my brother Mufasa, and my best friend Nala came in my room. "oh my gosh sweetie what's wrong?" Uru said in a worried voice.

they all walked up to me. Mufasa took a look at my neck and noticed the collar around my neck. "Lana, what's this?" Mufasa said.

"its a shock collar... Scar put it on me to...make me listen to him" I said. "what?!" all three of them yelled. "yeah" I said. "can we take it off?" Nala said.

she then tried to take the collar off me but it shocked me. I screamed in pain as the collar shocked me. "I'm sorry Lana" Nala said.

"it's okay" I said. "is there any other way we can take this thing off of you without it shocking you?" Mufasa said. I shook my head sadly. "no,

whenever I attempt to take it off Scar has it set to shock me" I said. Mufasa was angry when I said that. "that bastard" Mufasa said under his breath. "don't worry Lana we will find a way to get that off of you" Uru said. "thanks mom" I said.

"no problem sweetie" Uru said. "I will let the rest of the family know about this" Mufasa said. "okay" I said. "anyways, we came here because Sarah said she wants you to saddle your horse because there is a parade that you have to practice. she will lead the practice" Nala said.

"Okay, what is the parade for?" I asked. "I'm not sure, but you will find out when you get there" Nala said. "we will be in the house if you need anything" Uru said. "okay mom" I said. I then went to Skylers stall to saddle up Skyler.

after I put the saddle on Skyler I led her out of her stall and into the arena. when I got to the arena my friends and my Aunts greeted me.

"Hey Lana, get on your horse please so we can get started with practice" Sarah said. I nodded and got on my horse. when I got on Skyler I walked up,

next to Sarah. I stood next to her and everyone else was behind her. "okay here we go, 1, 2, 3" Sarah counted as we were walking.

it was supposed to help us follow the rhythm of the beat we were supposed to do in the parade. Aunt Chloe moved up to Baileys spot so she wasn't last in line.

"Woah Chloe, what do you think you're doing?" Sarah said. "so what if Bailey is not here. why should we be last in line?" Aunt Chloe said.

"Chloe weather Bailey is here or not the rhythm stays the same" Sarah said. as we were about to keep practicing there was a crow who kept squawking.

the crow's squawking was messing up the parade but it wasn't bothering me. it made Aunt Chloe and Aunt Zoey mad that it was messing the routine up.

"ugh, I'm calling break time" Aunt Chloe said. "me too" Aunt Zoey said. "but you can't we have a parade to practice for!" Sarah shouted.

I have to admit that I wanted to take a break myself too. "its to hot out here Sarah, my lip gloss is melting" Aunt Zoey said. "okay fine, take five then we have to get back to work!" Sarah yelled. I was walking towards the fence with Molly and Alma.

"work work work. that's all Sarah seems to care about lately" Molly said. "me too, I'm getting a bit tired of it myself" Alma said. "same here" I said. I have to agree with both Molly and Alma because that is all that Sarah cares about.

I and Alma were getting tired of it so was Molly. when we got to the fence we tied the horse's reins to the fence. "you better get control of your horse Molly. its messing everything up" Aunt Chloe said. "it's not my fault, that crow keeps spooking Calypso" Molly said.

"leave Molly alone Chloe, you're not helping the situation" Alma said. "hmph" Aunt Chloe said. with that everyone left. "I really am sorry for messing up,

the parade routine. it's just that crow is scary" Calypso said. "you can be sorry all you want. but your gonna have more distractions,

at the parade" Chili said. "leave Calypso alone Chili" Button said. after a while, when we were practicing Sarah got some music to practice with.

"Nice work everyone now let's see if we can practice with the parade music!" Sarah said. as she was gonna put the music in the music player,

a silver piece of jewelry fell out of her pocket. Aunt Chloe seemed angry when she saw the bracelet. "oops" Sarah said as the bracelet fell out of her pocket.

Aunt Chloe got off of her horse and walked over to Sarah. "where did you get that bracelet and what exactly was it doing in your pocket?!" Aunt Chloe said.

"did anyone..." Sarah started. Aunt Chloe roughly took the bracelet from her. "you had it all along I hope you're happy!" Aunt Chloe.

"This isn't what it looks like..." Sarah said. I had a bad feeling about this.

I knew this wasn't good.
