Hey guys, here's chapter 22 of Neon Flash. Not much else to say, so let's get started.

It was Sunday. The day that marked the end of the weekend and the beginning of the new week. The day where devoted religious nuts spent at least half of their day at church while the rest of the country did stuff that was actually fun and wouldn't put them to sleep from listening to a boring priest. The day that marked the dreaded weekly return to the hellhole known as school. Which is why Lisa and Darcy were spending the day hanging out together. Right now, the duo was playing a round of mini golf.

"Hey, sorry if we couldn't hangout yesterday. I was spending the day with Ms. Shrinivas" Darcy said as she hit her pink-colored ball into the hole.

"It's quite alright, Darcy" Lisa said as she set up her green-colored ball. "How is our former teacher? It must be strange having your father date her" she said as she rocked the golf club back and forth.

"She's fine. I mean, it was a little strange that she was dating my dad at first, but I've gotten used to it over time" Darcy replied as Lisa hit her ball, although she missed the hole.

"That's good to hear" Lisa said, hitting her ball again, this time making it into the hole. She then tallied up the score. "That's you with 24 points, and myself with 26" she informed her friend.

"Huh, I guess that's decent" Darcy shrugged.

"You would think that with an older sister that plays this sport, I would be better at it" Lisa commented, "Then again, sports are not really my thing" she added, adjusting her glasses.

"Same here. Still, it was fun though" Darcy said.

"Affirmative" Lisa nodded in agreement.

Moments later, the two friends were seen exiting the golf course.

"Well, that was fun" Darcy said, raising her arms over her head with her fingers intertwined, popping her elbows and back.

"Shall we get something to eat then?" Lisa suggested.

"Ooh, I'd love to, but I have to get home. Dad's going to run a scan on my cybernetics" Darcy informed her nerdy friend.

"Very well" Lisa shrugged acceptingly, "See you at school tomorrow?" she offered.

"For sure" Darcy replied with a nod.

The two girls gave each other a quick embrace before going their separate ways to their respective homes.

Mini golf. If Lisa were to be honest with herself, other than the calculations that went into it, she didn't really see the appeal her eldest sister saw in the game. Not just mini golf; golf in general. That's not to say she didn't have a fun time playing the game with her bestie.

Lisa turned a corner on her journey home. The moment she did though, she heard a scream. More specifically, Darcy's scream. The science protégé ran back to the location that she had been seconds ago. Her eyes widened at what she was seeing. Some people in suits, two males and two females, were harming her friend. Two were holding her by the arms as she kicked and grunted, while the other two stood in front of her in case she tried anything.

Darcy kicked the shin of the guy on her left, causing them to yell pain and release her as they held their leg. She tried kicking the other guy's leg as well, only for there to be a clanking sound when their limbs collided. Darcy looked at them in surprise.

"You're not the only one with enhancements, kid" one of the females said with a smug expression.

Darcy's eyes changed color as she activated her cybernetics. Getting a good look of their x-rays, she saw that they too had metallic limbs. Unlike Darcy herself though, they only had cybernetics for certain limbs like an arm or a leg. What's going on here?

"Now, just be a good little girl and—" *Bam* the other guy that was holding was cut off by Darcy doing a flip and giving him a kick to the face, causing him to release her other arm. The guy that held her stepped back as he held his face in pain, his nose dripping with blood.

One of the females tried to grab her, only for Darcy to grab her arm and flip her over her shoulder. The cyber girl placed her foot onto the woman's back and gave a hard tug. With and electrified rip, the woman's robot arm was torn of, wires and circuits sticking out of it as well as from the socket of her shoulder. Darcy then used the detached arm to whack the woman upside the head, knocking her to the ground. She tossed the arm aside.

The first man whose leg she kicked earlier charged at her. Darcy ducked, barely dodging the man's attempt of a bear hug. She gave the man a swift punch in the groin which made him hold it in pain. She delivered a kick to his chest, sending him flying into a nearby garbage can.

The other man and woman charged at her from both sides. Darcy leapt into the air, performing a corkscrew while doing so. She spread her legs and gave them good kicks to their faces. Part of the woman's face came off, revealing her cybernetic face.

When Darcy landed, she spotted Lisa coming towards her. This little distraction gave one of the bad guys time to pull out a high tech taser. They pressed the item into the girl's back, along her spine, giving her powerful shock throughout her body. Lisa gasped in horror.

"Lisa… run!" Darcy shouted before falling unconscious.

The nine-year-old genius didn't need to be told twice. She ran in the direction away of the agents. One of the female agents attempted to chase after her, only for one of the others to place their hand on her should with a shake of her head.

"All we needed was the cyborg; the other girl is of no use to us" they told her, "Besides, we need to return to base, asap"

They all nodded and retreated back into their van with Darcy before driving off into the distance.

The Loud House…

It had taken some time, but Lisa had finally managed to return home as fast as she could. Quickly, she closed the door behind her and locked it for good measure. Lisa took a deep breath, and slowly exhaled. She repeated this process until her heartrate returned to its normal state.

"Hey, Lisa" Lori greeted, she and Leni sitting on the couch watching, The Dream Boat, "How was mini golf with Darcy?" she asked.

"I was… eventful, first oldest sibling" Lisa replied while glancing to the side, "Erm, would either of you happen to know where Lincoln is?" she asked them.

"He's upstairs in his room, reading comics" Leni told her.

"Thank you" Lisa nodded before running up the staircase.

On the second floor, the sole male sibling and residential superhero of Royal Woods, Lincoln, was in his room. He had decided to waste the day by playing video games, eating junk and reading comic books. That last thing was a bit redundant and somewhat ironic, considering he actually was a superhero, but that didn't bother him much. When he was younger, he spent time reading comics in his underwear to get comfortable. Now though, he could read comics whether he was in just his undies or fully clothed.

He was enjoying his comic, until a certain glasses-wearing sister of his came in and quickly shut the door behind her. Luckily for her, he was fully clothed.

"Well, if it isn't my favorite nerdy sister. To what do I owe this surprise visit?" Lincoln asked playfully, keeping his eyes on the comic in front of him.

"This is no time for your playful banter, male sibling. I acquire your assistance" Lisa said, hopping into her brother's bed and sitting beside him as he lied down.

"You need my help? That's a first" Lincoln looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes, I would not have expected it either, considering the poop sample you gave me was Lana's" Lisa replied.

"Hey, you never said it had to be my poop" Lincoln informed her. Lisa groaned.

"Listen, you remember my friend Darcy, correct?" Lisa asked.

"Your only friend. Yeah, I remember her, why?" Lincoln replied.

"She has been kidnapped" Lisa began, Lincoln remaining silent as she continued, "We finished playing mini golf and these people in suits came, put her in their van and took her" she told him.

"A van? And they were after Darcy? Maybe that's why there were tire tracks by the curb. They probably spying on Lisa to get to her…" Lincoln thought to himself.

"Luckily, Darcy was able to hold them off long enough for me to escape" Lisa said.

"How did she manage that?" Lincoln questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"Let's just say there is more to her than you think" Lisa glanced to the side.

"What does any of this have to do with me?" Lincoln asked.

"My best friend was kidnapped. I need you to help me save her" Lisa told him.

"Yeah, that's tragic and all and feel sorry for your friend, but I really don't see how you expect me to help" Lincoln replied. Even though on the inside, he did know how to help her.

"Simple. I require the assistance of the savior who produces the noble gas, atomic number ten" Lisa said, adjusting her glasses.

"In English, please" Lincoln gave a deadpanned expression.

"I need help from Neon Flash" Lisa clarified, "Given the stories told from our female sibling units, I assume you have connections with him?"

"More or less. Aren't you a super genius? Can't you track her down with an invention of yours?" Lincoln asked.

"I could, but I never placed a tracking device in her like I did with our sisters" Lisa said.

"You put tracking devices in our sisters?" Lincoln looked at her suspiciously.

"Nooo…" Lisa's eyes darted back and forth, "Anyway, even if I did, the place she was taken to is surely to be heavily guarded and Neon is the only one that can take care of them" Lisa said, "So, will you help me and contact him?" she asked.

"I don't know, I'd rather enjoy my weekend and relax. Besides, I'm sure Neon doesn't want to be bothered" Lincoln told her.

"Very well, Lincoln, you've left me with no choice…" Lisa straddled Lincoln's lap. She closed her eyes for a few seconds, before opening them with big puppy-dog eyes and a pout to boot.

A few seconds passed between the siblings.

"Yeah, nice try, Lisa" Lincoln went back to his comic.

"What? But that always works on you" Lisa looked at him normally.

"Yeah, it only works with certain sisters. Sadly, you're not one of them" Lincoln told her, "It'd probably help if you weren't so stoic all the time. I mean, if you were one of the other sisters that I'm close with then it'd probably work. But you? Nah" he shook his head.

Lisa narrowed her eyes at her brother in annoyance. She hopped off his lap and exited his room. Seconds later, Lincoln watched as she returned, this time with Lily. Lisa picked up their youngest sister and sat her upon her brother's lap. Lincoln looked Lily in the eyes.

"Lincoln, could help Lisa with her problem?" Lisa asked, "Pleeease?" she begged, giving the puppy-dog eyes, her index finger to the corner of her lip as she pouted.

"Ugh…" Lincoln looked Lily confliction. "Lisa, you bitch!" he thought as he glared at the scientist with narrowed eyes. He sighed, "Fine. I'll see if I can get Neon to save Darcy" Lincoln rolled his eyes, before playfully ruffling Lily's hair.

Lily kissed his cheek before hopping off his lap and exiting his room.

"Thank you, Lincoln" Lisa smiled as her brother got out of bed.

"Yeah, whatever. Now get the hell out of my room" Lincoln said while guiding her out.

Lincoln closed his bedroom door. He raised his arm and pressed the button on his watch, transforming himself into his alter ego. Neon walked over to his window and opened it. The hero then proceeded to hop out of the window, landing on the ground with ease. Walking around to the front door, he rang the doorbell and was greeted by Leni.

"Neon!" Leni threw her arms around him in a hug.

"Hello, Leni. May I come in?" Neon asked. It was kind of weird to ask to come into his own house, but he had to keep up the ruse.

"Totes" Leni stepped aside, allowing the hero in.

"Hello again, Lori" Neon greeted the eldest sister.

"Lincoln's in his superhero costume. Something bad must be going on if he's Neon…" Lori thought, "Hey, Neon. It's been a while" she greeted him.

"Yeah, I haven't seen you since… that little incident with your sister and you-know-who" Neon replied, not wanting to bring up Leni's evil persona that he had sealed away some time ago.

"Yeah. And don't worry, that jar you gave me is literally tucked safely away" Lori said reassuringly, "So, what're you doing her this time?" she asked.

"I'm here to see one of your little sisters. Lisa, I think her name is" Neon told her.

"Oh no, did something bad happen to her?" Leni asked worriedly.

"No, I was just told she needed my help for something" Neon told them.

"She's upstairs" Lori told him.

Lori watched as Lincoln/Neon made his way upstairs. With the way Lisa was acting when she came home, it didn't take a genius to know something happened while she was hanging out with Darcy. If anyone could help Lisa, it'd be their brother. Upon reaching the second floor, Neon knocked on the door of the two youngest siblings.

"Enter" he heard Lisa's voice.

Neon sighed, "God damn it…" he muttered under his breath, and then door, greeted by the sight of the two sisters, "Lisa Loud?"

"Ah, Neon, it is nice to see you again. Lily, could you give Neon some time alone?" Lisa asked her younger sister in kind tone.

"Ok, Lisa" Lily replied, walking out of the room past the anti-hero.

"So, Lincoln tells me you need my help saving your friend?" Neon asked.

"Yes, she was kidnapped by some people in suits. I figured the town hero would be able to take down them down and bring her back" Lisa told him.

"Heh. Well, you're right to put your faith in me" Neon rubbed the center of his chest with his knuckles, "Luckily, I have a friend that might be able to help us in this situation" he said reassuringly with a cross of his arms.

And that's the end of chapter 22. I would've had this up a while ago, but I got stuck on a few parts. Looks like someone's after Darcy… but for what reason? Only time will tell. And before anyone says anything about Lisa knowing Lincoln's secret, this Lisa never put cameras in his bedroom.
