Chapter 21 : The Oni's Maps
ItsYoGreenGirl : Might take a look at it if you do post it, how Liv became best friends with Jay seems interesting, Since it seems like the whole best friends thing for the others is obvious, Liv and Jay, didn't seem to be, and yea, Liv has definitely became a massive favorite in my opinion, so you can bet, that since I got a response, that I'll definitely have her come into the picture, maybe not until Part 4 this little series, or even in this chapter, but you'll have to wait and see. . . and anyways, I will say that in this story, there are no intentions for Lydia to die, that's not gonna happen, and it would make sense that the others would worry about Eric's Girlfriend, since they still think Eric is dead, well Nya doesn't, and yes, you're right with the viruses thing, and It seemed like that so far in this story, two ships have been destroyed ( The Black Ranger and The Rumbling Caldera ) So It seemed like a good idea to give one to Eric, and who could be more important to him in this time, than Princess Alex.
ItsYoGreenGirl Part 2 : This Side Note is after I finished writing this Chapter, while small, I will say I had Liv make an appearance, and It's gonna make a huge difference one this little series of stories reaches Part 4, and I will even say I have started writing Chapters for Part 4, and at some point, I will add a little sneak peak at the chapter for the first part of the 4th story. . . The Masks of Garmadon.
Previously on The Plague and The Pirates : Eric receives a call from Alex, and tells him that she's soon coming to Fort Lexington, while Xavier shows Samurai X 3.0 to his Parents, and the previous Samurai X, which was Pixal, says she's impressed with who Hazel chose to be, while the rest of the Young Ninjas head out to stop another attack, but Richard, Zach, Via, and Lydia get sick in the Process, and Dr. Maul hints to Nya that her son is still alive, but she's still not sure, while Opal helps tell the kids about the meaning of Medical terms, which helps Siddie realize The Plague Doctor's plan, before Nurse Rachet comes to tell the kids that Alex is gone, and Akita is confused, and quickly tells them to start searching for her daughter, while Eric notices an enemy ship sailing around Fort Lexington, but it keeps sailing closer, without attacking, but it certainly isn't a friendly ship either, just before Alex arrives, and embraces her boyfriend, and Eric did the same, happy that he was reunited with Alex, and there's an explosion at Mount Canyon, and as it turns out, it was Frederick Maul, and Landon and Harmony broadcast the fight, and the Young Ninja and their parents watch Eric send a sharp needle through Maul's heart, and he takes The Oni's Maps, before Maul dies, and from the Gunmetal Gray and Azure ninja robes, something tells Nya that Maul was telling her that Eric was still alive, but she doesn't know if that's true, but the only person she knows she can ask, is Queen Akita, while Eric gets a Ship of his own, and saves Averill's ship from sinking, and decides to call his ship, The Formlings' Princess, just as Hazel gives them some backup, and Eric, Alex, and Hazel begin sailing back to Ninjago.

September 15th, 5:45 a.m. Ignacia Village
Eric had docked the ship at Ignacia, and slept for a while, but woke up since he remembered The Oni's Maps.
While Alex and Hazel were in the Sleeping Quarters, still asleep, Eric was walking towards the village to find his Grandparents. . .
Eric knew that Maya and Ray would both be shocked that he was still alive, especially since they haven't been noticing signs of his survival like the others have, but Eric didn't see how he had a choice, it was either right now, or Maya and Ray would notice a ship docked at the coast of their village when they wake up.
Eric was wearing his Sweater which was Gunmetal-gray, and blue pants, and he had the hood of his sweater on, so nobody could tell who he was, since a few of the people in the village were actually awake this early.
After a few minutes, Alex actually woke up, and looked out the window and saw Eric walking away.
Princess Alex : Hazel. . . Hazel!
Hazel barely opened her eyes, and saw Alex looking at her?
Hazel : what?
Princess Alex : Where's Eric going?
Hazel : Wait, What?
Hazel looked out the window and saw Eric also. . .
Hazel : I'm guessing he's gonna find his Grandparents, you can go find him if you want, but I'm going back to sleep.
Princess Alex : Alright, I'm gonna go talk to him.
Alex saw Eric sat down for a few minutes, so she got dressed and put on her white dress, and her jacket, which was a gift from Harumi and it was Navy Blue, short, and looked exactly like the one Harumi wore when she was a teenager, during the Sons of Garmadon, and she put on her boots which were leather, went up to just beneath her knees, and they were Royal Yellow, and she walked outside to see where Eric was going.
Because it was still dark out, nobody could tell it was Eric and Alex, and just when Eric stood up to keep walking towards his Grandparents' House, Alex tapped his shoulder.
Eric : Alex?
Princess Alex : Eric, what are you doing?
Eric : I'm going to talk to my Grandparents?
Princess Alex : Right now?
Eric : They probably have no clue about Me right now, or The Plague Doctor, and that's what I'm worried about, and I need to talk to somebody in my family right now, that I still walk these realms, and It's better if I choose my Grandparents, rather than either of my parents, or my sister.
Princess Alex : Your Cousins and their parents aren't a good choice either.
Eric : Something like this Felicia and Uncle Kai wouldn't understand, though they would understand more than my Dad.
Princess Alex : Fair enough.
Eric : And my Dad's Parents, are twice as crazy, they never stop talking, always say something embarrassing, and they're louder than an amp cranked up to 10.
Princess Alex : I know, I've never met them, but I have heard them.
Eric : Exactly.
Alex and Eric kept walking, until they were at the front door, and Eric knocked, before he saw the window was open, and he and Alex climbed through it, and they sat in the kitchen, which Maya and Ray couldn't see from the front door.
Upstairs. . .
Ray : Is that the front door?
Maya : It's 5:52 In the Morning, who could be knocking at this hour?
Ray : Who knows, but from this sort of time, I'm guessing it's important.
Maya : Alright.
The two of them got up and went to answer the door, and Eric and Alex were waiting for them.
Ray grabbed his sword, in case if it was someone looking to cause trouble, which it could be in some cases.
Maya opened the door, and saw there was nobody there.
Maya : Is this really a good time for pranks, there's nobody out here.
Eric : Well you left the window open, so I let myself in. . .
Ray turned the light on, and saw somebody sitting on the table in the kitchen.
Ray : Who are you?!
Eric : Somebody you're shocked to see, obviously.
Just then Alex walked out from around the corner, and removed her hood.
Princess Alex : Hello.
Maya and Ray : Alex?
Princess Alex : I'm not the one you should be shocked to see here.
Ray and Maya walked closer to the boy sitting on the table, and he stood on one of the chairs, and kept his head down, so they still couldn't see his face. . .
Just as Ray pointed his sword at him.
Eric : Are you gonna put the weapon down, or are you really afraid of a little kid?
Ray lowered the sword, and Maya recognized the voice.
Maya : I know who's voice that is. . .
Eric : I don't see why you wouldn't know, Gramma.
Eric looked up, and removed his hood, and Maya and Ray both gasped, as Maya approached her grandson.
Maya : Eric.
Eric smiled at Maya before he gave his response, and tears formed in his eyes.
Eric : Yea, the Water Ninja is back.
Maya : Eric, you're alive!
Eric leaned forward, and embraced his grandmother, just as Maya pulled Eric into a hug.
Tears left both of their eyes, as Ray dropped his sword, and hugged Eric as well. . . and Alex was even shedding a few tears herself watching the moment between Eric and his Grandparents.
Ray then backed away, and let Eric and Maya have their moment, it would make sense that they were close to one another, since they both had the same powers. . . until Nya inherited them from Maya, and Eric inherited them from Nya.
When Eric was able to stop crying his tears of joy into Maya's shoulder, she smiled and looked at her.
Maya : Eric, how is this possible, after you stopped Nadakhan, Kai was carrying you, and he said you were dead.
Eric : I was alive the whole time, that Venom only sent me into a coma.
Ray : So it didn't kill you?
Eric : No.
Maya : Alex, you knew about this?
Princess Alex : Only for 3 days, Eric found me in a dungeon in Rubble Grove, so he broke me out, and just yesterday I went to Fort Lexington to see him.
Ray : But how did he even get out of his grave?
Eric : Okay, that sounded wrong on many levels.
Ray : I just heard myself.
Person : I dug him out.
Maya and Ray looked over, and saw Hazel walking inside the house.
Maya : What?
Hazel : I did a scan, and it showed positive that Eric was still alive, so I dug him out, and took him to Cyrus Borg.
Eric : He used Machines to stabilize my condition before Hazel came back with Ressurectea which healed me from the Tiger Widow's Venom.
Hazel : Only then, did The Plague Doctor capture me and Eric, and for a short time, they erased his memory, and scrapped me.
Ray : The Plague Doctor?
Eric : The villain that showed Siddie's Parents that they were Soulmates.
Maya giggled at what Eric ha said, and he smiled at her.
Maya : Wasn't he the one that tried to spray a deadly virus across Ninjago.
Eric, Hazel, and Alex : Yes.
Eric : Just yesterday, I killed one of his Generals and found this.
Eric grabbed The Oni's Maps out of his pocket, and showed his Grandparents.
Ray : What is it?
Eric : The Oni's Manuscript, it contains maps that show the present day location of the Oni Masks.
Maya : As in where in the current time?
Eric : Yes.
Princess Alex : Sounds like an artifact from Harry Potter.
Eric : Do not get me started.
Maya : So what did you come here for?
Maya gave the Maps back to Eric, and waited for his response.
Eric : I just wanted to see you, I needed to tell somebody that I was okay, I just didn't feel ready to tell my parents or my sister yet, so I just wanted to tell somebody I could trust.
Maya : Thank you, Eric.
Maya hugged Eric, and he returned the hug, and let more tears leave his eyes.
Just then, Maya's phone started ringing. . .
Eric : Who is it?
Maya : One sec Eric.
She grabbed her phone, and sighed.
Maya : It's your mom.
Eric : Just answer it.
Alex, Hazel, and Eric all kept quiet as Maya answered the phone.
Maya : Hi, Nya.
Nya : Didn't think you were actually awake, Mom.
Maya : I have been for almost 10 Minutes, I just couldn't seem to stop-
Nya : Thinking about Eric?
Maya : Yes.
Nya : Something is telling me that's he's alive.
Maya : What's telling you that?
Nya : Alex and Hazel both vanished yesterday, and when we were out preventing one of The Plague Doctor's attacks, one of his generals was talking about him, I asked why, and he said I still didn't know, and he didn't want to spoil the surprise.
Maya : So you think he's alive?
Nya : Seems like it, though there's one thing that doesn't add up, and that one thing is the Oni Mask that just seemed to surface at the Museum, and Alex obviously knows about it, and she has to know about Eric, or else she wouldn't have vanished yesterday.
Maya : So what are you going to do?
Nya : Find her, and get an answer to these questions that should have been answered by now, and where are you anyways?
Maya : At home for now, It's almost 6:00 a.m., and I don't have anything better to do besides head to Ninjago City. . . where are you?
Nya : The Hospital, Opal called me and Jay about a half hour ago, and said the kids started hallucinating.
Maya and Ray : What?!
Nya : You heard me, we need to find where The Plague Doctor is, and put him down, before any of the kids succumb to that virus, and Akita was affected with it too, and she almost started hallucinating as well.
Alex was about to say something, when Eric put his hand over her mouth.
Maya : You want us to come to Ninjago City?
Nya : Not right now, the kids are okay for the time being, we just need to wait until The Plague Doctor makes a cure for this virus, and when he does, I say we won't need it.
Maya : Why?
Nya : Because were gonna steal it.
Maya : Fair enough, well Sweetheart, if you need us, just give a call.
Nya : Alright, bye Mom.
Maya : Bye.
Maya hung up the phone, and Eric made a disgusted noise.
Eric : Eh, did you just kiss my hand?
Princess Alex : I was running out of breath, man.
Eric : Alright.
Maya : So Eric, what are you going to do?
Eric : Keep the Manuscript out of the Villains hands, and find Nurse Payne, she was in charge of creating that cure, so If anybody is going to have it, it'll be her.
Ray : Alright.
Eric : Hazel, Alex, let's go.
Alex and Hazel were walking towards the door, when Maya got his attention.
Maya : Eric, wait.
Eric : What?
Maya : I'm coming with you.
Eric : Really?
Maya : Yes, If you're gonna be dealing with a problem like this, I may as well watch you until you can reveal yourself to the others.
Eric : Thanks.
Eric hugged his Grandmother, and Maya returned the hug, and they left towards The Formlings' Princess, and start flying above Ninjago.
Meanwhile, in Rubble Grove.
Dr. Rogers : Has there been any progress?
Nurse : No Sir, there's been no trace of Eric, or The Oni's Maps since he has a ship of his own, and sooner or later he will reveal himself to his family.
Dr. Rogers : You must find him, and bring him down before he does.
Nurse 2 : Understood.
Dr. Rogers went to one of the labs where Nurse Payne was.
Dr. Rogers : How's progress, Nurse Payne?
Nurse Payne : We're close to finishing it, sir.
Dr. Rogers : Excellent, bring it to my office when it's finished.
After about 3 hours, Nurse Payne finished the antidote, and gave it to Dr. Rogers, and he got on the Intercom.
Dr. Rogers : Everybody, our second to last plan is being put into action.
The Doctors and Nurses clapped and cheered before Nurse Payne came to his side.
Nurse Payne : I assume you want me to do the honors, sir?
Dr. Rogers : Yes, and bring me. . . Siddie Lancaster.
Nurse Payne : Yes, Sir.
Dr. Rogers : You have an antidote as well, correct?
Nurse Payne : Yes, you will not lose your last general to those pesky kids.
The Doctors and Nurses leave on a helicopter, and head towards Ninjago City, but why The Plague Doctor needs Siddie Lancaster, nobody knows.
Meanwhile, in Ninjago City Hospital. . .
The kids were waking up, and Opal went inside the Quarantine Room.
Opal : Finally, you kids are awake!
Felicia : How long were we out?
Opal : 3 Hours, you kids started hallucinating. . .
Queen Akita : Still no sign of Alex?
Opal : No.
Prince Zach : Well I will say I feel better.
Richard : Me too.
Nurse Rachet : Your vitals are back to normal, and your fevers aren't as high, but you can't go anywhere just yet.
Princess Lydia : Fair enough.
Just then, Richard dropped the TV Remote, and what they saw was bad.
Gayle : This is Gayle Gossip reporting from the center of Ninjago City, at The Plague Doctor's Minions heading towards the Hospital where the Young Ninjas currently are trying to recover from his deadly virus. . .
Richard : You have got to be kidding me.
Charlie : Well, another morning and a chance to make sure these guys don't make the world a "better" place.
Clayton : Well this day's ruined.
Cole : Let's just go!
The Young Ninja run outside, and they see the Helicopter coming towards the Hospital.
Charlie : It's Nurse Payne!
Nina : Well, let's use this opportunity to bring her down.
Just then, the Helicopter landed, and several men came out, and Nurse Payne was in front, but there were way more than they expected.
Cole : Oh geez.
Nurse Payne : Get Them!
The Plague Doctor's Minions charged at The Young Ninjas, and they did their best to fight back.
Cole, Charlie, Nina, and the others were dealing with the minions.
While Clayton and Siddie were dealing with Nurse Payne.
Clayton : To be honest, I expected more from an exotic wild boar such as you.
Nurse Payne : You're gonna eat those words.
Siddie : And you'll eat your own virus.
Nurse Payne : And your parents will eat our revenge!
Clayton : Where's my little sister?!
Nurse Payne : Out of all things, you're concerned about Alex, that attack she tried to stop, by killing Maul, she never realized what was awaiting her.
Clayton : What are you talking about?!
Nurse Payne : That second explosion that happened at Mount Canyon, was a bomb that was directly underneath where Alex was. . . She's dead, Clayton!
Clayton : No!
Payne shoved Clayton aside and began attacking Siddie, way too much.
Siddie : Take it easy!
Nurse Payne : We will, when your parents finally get the Pain they deserve!
Payne grabbed a heavy metal pole and hit Siddie's head, which knocked her out.
Cole : Siddie!
Nurse Payne : Everybody, retreat!
The Doctors and Nurses began heading back to the Helicopter, before Clayton got up and tried to catch them. . .
Nina : Clayton, what are you doing?!
Clayton : What's right!
The Helicopter was taking off, and was about 10 feet above the ground, when the door opened again and Clayton was hanging from it.
Nurse Payne kneeled down in front of him, and was looking into his eyes, as he was losing his grip.
Nurse Payne : What did you even do that for, huh young boy?
Clayton noticed a vial containing green liquid was in Nurse Payne's pocket, and he quickly grabbed it.
Clayton : For this!
Xavier threw his Force Gun at Clayton and he caught it, just as Nurse Payne tried to get the antidote back.
Nurse Payne : No!
Clayton : See ya!
Clayton let go, and set the Force Gun to a high Repulsion, and it sent the Helicopter flying away from the City.
Clayton landed on his back, and the others surrounded him.
Clayton : Okay. . . ow.
Nina : You okay?
Clayton : Yea.
Clayton reached for Nina's hand, and he helped him stand up.
Cole : Clayton, what did you do that for?
Clayton : For this!
Clayton gave the vial to Cole, and when he saw the green liquid inside it, he knew what it was.
Cole : You got the Cure?!
Clayton : Yep.
Cole : Great work Clayton, you have done well here today.
Cole ran back inside to give the Cure to Opal and Rachet, and Clayton sat back own.
Clayton : Well, I guess things are finally going my way.
Nina : Seems like it.
Charlie : All that's left now is The Plague Doctor himself.
Xavier : And saving Siddie. . .
Clayton : And if it's true that they killed my sister, I will kill them.
Meanwhile, above Ninjago City.
The Formlings' Princess was flying above the City, and nobody seemed to notice a flying ship. . .
Hazel just gave word to Eric that Nurse Payne took Siddie, and he's thinking of a plan to get her back.
Eric : Once we put Nurse Payne down, there won't be anyone left defending The Plague Doctor.
Maya : Eric, are you sure it'll be that easy.
Eric : Of course not, but I don't see any other options besides try.
Maya : Fair enough.
Eric : I feel like we should head to Mystake's Tea Shop, if anybody will know more about this Manuscript, it'll be her.
Princess Alex : You sure we can trust her, Eric?
Eric : Positive, The Royal Family trusts her, Siddie trusts her, It's time I did too.
Princess Alex : Alright then.
Maya : You kids really gonna wear your Ninja suits down there, they might attract attention.
Eric and Alex looked at themselves, and back at Maya.
Eric : I'm sure it'll be fine Gramma, we're just going to talk to Mystake about this and leave, and everybody else is at the Hospital right now, and until The Plague Doctor tries to move in on his final plan, they aren't going anywhere.
Maya : Alright.
The Formlings' Princess flew down towards the streets of Ninjago City, about 3 blocks from Mystake's Tea Shop.
Eric : Alright, we'll be back in a few.
Maya : Okay, and Eric.
Eric : Yea?
Maya kneeled down and hugged her Grandson, before letting him head to Mystake's.
Maya : I love you, and be careful.
Eric : I'll be back Gramma, I promise.
Eric and Alex leave The Formlings' Princess, and the ship flies above Ninjago City again, and stays in the air. . .
Meanwhile at the Hospital. . .
Cole gave the Cure to Dr. Pierce, and Nurse Rachet, and they took it straight to analysis, and almost every available doctor and nurse were working on making more doses, while Nurse Rachet was treating the kids.
Opal : Nice going, Clayton.
Clayton : Thanks, though I think it's gonna take a lot more than a simple cure to stop this mess.
Nina : True.
Opal : Cole, where's Siddie?
Cole : They took her.
Opal : What?!
Cole : I said they took her.
Opal : Oh, you've got to be kidding me.
Clayton : Nope, not kidding at all.
Nina : Really Clayton, now?
Clayton : Sorry, but I'm just not in a good mood.
Just then, Nurse Rachet came outside of the Quarantine Room.
Kai : Well?
Nurse Rachet : The cure worked, there's no more sign of the virus inside the kids, they can leave.
Nya : Well that's a relief.
Just then, the kids walked outside the Quarantine Room, and so did Akita.
Felicia : I was kind of hoping we wouldn't get cured until tomorrow.
Nina : Why?
Felicia : Because of School.
The Young Ninja : Oh yea. . .
Princess Lydia : Well tomorrow is going to be a nightmare if The Plague Doctor attacks again, especially if you guys keep us out of school for something like that, everybody at school will think we're crazy.
Nina : Yea.
Nya : Well, I guess you kids don't have any options then.
Xavier : Nya, I found Alex's position.
Nya : Where?
Xavier : Mystake's Tea Shop?
Queen Akita : Why on earth would Alex be talking to Mystake, it's not even 8:00 a.m. yet.
Nya : Only one way to find out.
Nya and Akita leave the Hospital, and begin walking towards Mystake's Tea Shop. . .
Meanwhile, at Mystake's Tea Shop. . .
The door was surprisingly unlocked, so Eric and Alex walked inside.
Eric : Hello. . . Mystake?
Just then, an elderly woman walked to the front from the back of the shop.
Mystake : My shop isn't even open yet, who is it?
Eric took his hood off, and Mystake was surprised.
Mystake : Eric?!
Eric : Hey there, Mystake.
Mystake : You're still alive.
Eric : Was the whole time, that venom sent me into a coma, not to death.
Mystake : Well, you must have a reason for being here at this hour, what do you need?
Eric : To ask you about this.
Eric grabbed the book out of his suit, and showed it to Mystake.
Mystake : The Oni's Maps.
Eric : I figured only an Oni could tell me about them, so that's why I came to you.
Mystake : Where did you find them?
Eric : On one of The Plague Doctor's Generals, safe to say he won't need it anymore.
Mystake : Come with me and I'll tell you about this.
Eric and Alex followed Mystake into the back, and she drank the enlightening tea, and gave a cup to Eric and Alex, so they could see what she was going to say.
Mystake : As you well know by now, The Oni were known as The Bringers of Doom, and were demonic beings, and during our time in The First Realm, they had created The Oni Masks, and they were left behind as a sign of their time in the Realm. . .
Eric : Which were The Masks used to Resurrect Lord Garmadon.
Mystake : Yes. . . however, The Realm of the First Spinjitzu Master, was not the only realm the Oni had gone too. . .
Mystake : But what you must know, is that in those Realms, there were Oni Masks left behind.
Princess Alex : There's more than three?
Mystake : Yes, ten overall.
Eric : What are they?
Mystake's Spirit Smoke helped visualize all ten of the Oni Masks, and what they looked like.
Mystake : The Oni Masks each contain the abilities from the Oni Warlords, of which there had been ten overall.
Eric : What were they?
Mystake was showing Eric and Alex, and as she said each Mask, it appeared for them to see it.
Mystake : Vengeance. . . Deception. . . Fear. . . Greed. . . Hatred. . . Violence. . . Brutality. . . Ferocity. . . Agitation. . . and, Death.
Eric : And now all of these Masks lay hidden in the Realm of Ninjago?
Mystake : Yes, young boy.
Eric : The Oni's Maps will lead us to each of their locations?
Mystake : The Oni's Maps, are the easiest way to find the Masks, there is always a way to find each one, without the Manuscript, containing all of their positions, if you truly want to make sure that all of the Masks aren't found, you must destroy the Manuscript.
Princess Alex : What happens if all of the Masks are reunited?
Mystake : You must not let that happen.
Eric : Please tell us, what happens when the Masks are reunited?!
Just then, Alex's phone went off.
Princess Alex : Hello?
Maya : Alex, it's Maya, you and Eric need to leave, Akita and Nya are heading towards Mystake's Shop.
Eric : They can't know I'm here.
Mystake : Then you must go, and take the Maps.
Mystake gave Eric the Manuscript, and he put it in his Ninja suit.
Eric : Alex we need to leave.
Princess Alex : But what happens if The Masks are reunited?!
Just then there was a knock at the door. . .
Nya : Hello, Mystake are you there?!
Eric and Alex went to a back door, but they still looked at her.
Princess Alex : Tell us!
Mystake : Whoever recovers every last Oni Mask, will be able to use their powers. . . to Resurrect the Oni!
Eric and Alex gasped, just as they ran out the back door, and Mystake went to the front.
Just as Mystake reached the front, and turned the light on, Nya and Akita walked inside.
Mystake : Hello, Nya.
Nya : We know Alex was here, where is she?
Mystake : You just missed her, she left.
Queen Akita : Where did she go?
Mystake : She chose not to reveal that, when the time comes, Alex will reveal her secrets, but if she keeps away, they are secrets, you two are not ready to hear.
Nya : Alright Akita, let's go, Alex isn't here.
Queen Akita : Darn it.
Akita leaves the Tea Shop with Nya, upset that Alex got away again.
10 Minutes Later, aboard The Formlings' Princess.
Princess Alex : This is not good.
Eric : I know.
Maya : What did Mystake tell you?
Princess Alex : There are ten Oni Masks, and the Manuscript of the Oni's Maps can lead us to them, but if all the Oni Masks are Reunited, they'll create the power to Resurrect the Oni, all of them.
Maya : Oh dear.
Eric : Yea, and our mothers almost caught us.
Princess Alex : So what do we do now?
Eric : We find Siddie, and end this mess. . . and soon.
Princess Alex : Alright.
Meanwhile at Rubble Grove. . .
Rogers was in his Office, writing something, before Nurse Payne walked inside.
Nurse Payne : Sir!
Dr. Rogers : Yes, Payne?
Nurse Payne : I have the target.
Dr. Rogers stood up and walked down the stairs, to see that Nurse Payne had Siddie, and she was handcuffed.
Siddie : You will not get away with this!
Dr. Rogers : What makes you say that little girl?
Siddie : My Mommy and Daddy will put an end to you!
Dr. Rogers : I'd like to see them try, put Siddie in the cells we have on the Zeppelin, it's almost time for us to begin our final plan.
Nurse Payne : Yes Sir.
Nurse Payne walked away with Siddie and was taking them to the huge Zeppelin that was covered by the forest behind the village.
Meanwhile at the Hospital. . .
Nya and Akita just got back, but they seemed to be annoyed.
Kai : What happened?
Nya : We got to the Tea Shop, and Mystake said Alex was there, but she left.
Queen Akita : And I heard her talking to Mystake, almost as if she went to her to find out about something, and she doesn't want us knowing.
Brenden : Well Akita, if that's the case, then maybe It's important if she thinks it's not safe to tell you.
Queen Akita : I get that, but we're her parents, and if she feels like it's too dangerous for us to know, it's also dangerous if she's the only one who knows.
Nya : My bet is that is something to do with that Oni Mask, two questions there, how is there another Oni Mask, and question two, how did Alex know about it.
Empress Harumi : Brother, do you anything about that Oni Mask?
Brenden : I don't know what's weirder, the fact that you ask in that tone, or it took you that long to actually ask me.
Lloyd : So you do know.
Brenden : Of course, though Alex and Mystake were two others you could have gotten the answers from.
Queen Akita : Brenden, what does she know?
Tears started forming in Brenden's eyes, as she walked towards the windows, and was looking at Ninjago City.
Brenden : If I told you, you'd know too.
Harumi, Lloyd, and Akita then stood beside him as he looked at the City.
Queen Akita : Well if it's so important, shouldn't we?
Brenden : Only if you'd want Alex to die, The reason I told her about that Mask was because before it was in the Museum, was because Acronix had it, and you guys want to know why Alex easily gets scared at this sort of stuff?
Lloyd : Why?
Brenden shook his head and sighed before giving his answer, and knowing he didn't want to answer, Akita kissed him on the lips, and he returned the kiss.
Brenden : Acronix found a way to use the Oni Mask's powers, and torture Alex, to where it would imbue her with the Mask's abilities, but instead it did the opposite, it's scarred her for life to where she could easily be scared, by almost any sign of danger she may come across. . . and Lloyd.
Lloyd : Yea?
Brenden : Everybody, except Akita and Eric, she's scared of, and she's even scared of herself, and she thinks every last one of you, should be scared of her too.
Lloyd : There's only one person I know who could relate to that. . .
Meanwhile, at Ignacia Village.
Eric was talking to his Grandparents, and Alex was sitting on a large flat rock on the hillside, and looking at The Endless Sea, and what's now a Peninsula in the middle of it, since Djinjago went back down.
Alex was slightly using her powers, and holding The Oni Mask of Fear in her hands, what confuses her, is that the Mask is the one thing that doesn't seem to scare her, since it's what made her scared of her friends, her powers, and above all else, herself. . .
Alex noticed something near the rock and she grabbed it, it was what seemed like a Journal, which was purple and green.
Princess Alex : What's this?
Alex opened the journal for a split second, and what she saw was a picture of a girl standing next to Harumi and Lloyd from when they were teenagers.
Person : May I ask what you're doing with my Journal?
Alex looked up and saw a girl walking towards her, and she looked much like the emperor.
She had blonde wavy hair, and was wearing a purple sweater, and was walking towards Alex.
Princess Alex : Sorry, I was just curious of what it was.
Alex gave the Journal back to her, and kept looking over The Endless Sea, but the girl she gave the Journal back to sat down next to her.
Person : Are you okay?
Princess Alex : No, I don't know what to do with myself, scared of who I am, and these powers that my "Father" gave to me, and I feel like either I'm not needed, or I'll hurt those close to me if I'm anywhere near them, especially my parents. . . you can't possibly understand that.
Person : Are you kidding, you pretty much described my childhood, right there. . . always lurking in the shadows, even if you aren't a real shadow yourself, scared of the powers you got from someone who used to be on the good side, and with them "gone" you have no clue who to look up to in your life.
Princess Alex : How can you know all of this?
Person : Because what you just said, I've lived through.
Princess Alex : Who are you?
Person : Let's just say I'm a girl who's made one of the worst possible mistakes.
Princess Alex : Fair enough, though I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess your supposed to be close to the Emperor and Empress of Ninjago, who are my aunt and uncle.
Person : And judging from the dress, and the fangs, I'm guessing your Princess Alex.
Princess Alex : Yea. . . a Princess who's got no real memory of who she really was, before being a Formling, a Princess, or an Elemental Master, only knowing that you were tortured by who was supposed to protect and have you look up to them, and I did nothing but blame him, even If it's harm I caused, and I honestly have no clue where to go with my life, and I'm just a kid.
Person : You sound just like me when I was a teenager, and I had just met my twin brother.
Princess Alex : Somehow I think I know who you are. . .
Person : I wouldn't be surprised if you did, my little twin brother seemed to have a big mouth at times.
Princess Alex : The nice blonde hair, the green eyes, the strange past, my uncle's told me about me about someone like that, he said it was his twin sister.
Person : Then he said it was me.
Princess Alex : You're the Emperor's twin sister?
Person : Yes, I'm Liv Garmadon.
That name sent a huge sense of shock into Alex, as she held the Oni Mask in her hands.
Princess Alex : I would ask if you had any advice for somebody like me, but one thing you could do, is help me with this. . .
Liv : The Mask of Fear. . . where did you find it?
Princess Alex : The Museum, my friend Eric was being controlled by it, the way I remember that Mask is because my "Father" had used it to send nothing but Fear into me. . . it makes me scared of almost anything I may come across, even the people who are supposed to be close to me, and not be afraid of who I am, It makes me feel like I should let them know to be careful, or to stay away, because my Fear could end up hurting the people I have let inside my heart.
Liv : You want my advice Alex, don't let your fear control you, or take blame that isn't yours, my brother and my friends taught me that, and when it comes down to you or your brother, and the thoughts or horror of your "Father" is what stays in your head, you just need to remember that whatever happens, or whatever may scare you, your friends, and above all else, your family are the ones that will be there beside you.
Alex let tears form in her eyes, and she smiled at Lloyd's Twin Sister.
Princess Alex : Thank you, Liv.
Liv : Of course.
What neither of them saw, was that a drone was flying over Ignacia Village, and it was flying back towards Ninjago City. . .
Meanwhile at the Hospital. . .
Lydia was outside, and she was using the drone, and what she saw seemed to be a shock to her, and she was turning off the drone, and heading to tell Lloyd.
Lloyd : So for now that's it?
Opal : Until another attack yes, and tomorrow is the first day of school, since Nadakhan's attacks on Ninjago City forced them to delay it.
Cole : Though we need to find Siddie, and soon, before this gets any worse.
Queen Akita : And we need to find Alex. . .
Princess Lydia : And you need to find who I just saw at Ignacia!
Misako : Lydia, what are you talking about.
Princess Lydia : I was using the drone to see if I could find Alex, she was at Ignacia, and talking to somebody about The Oni Mask, since she has it with her.
Charlie : Who was she talking too.
Princess Lydia : Somebody my daddy and grandmother are gonna be shocked to see in these times.
Lloyd : What do you mean?
Princess Lydia : Your sister!
Lloyd : Give me that!
Lloyd took the tablet Lydia used to look at the footage, and Misako, Jay, and Harumi were looking at the footage as well, and who they saw Alex talking too was a shock.

The footage turned off, and they were shocked.
Lloyd, Harumi, Misako, and Jay : Liv. . .
Next Time of The Plague and The Pirates : Liv comes aboard The Formlings' Princess with Alex, Maya, Hazel, and Eric to help them find Siddie, but as the First Day of School is directly around the corner, fear is entering Alex and Eric's Minds as The Plague Doctor prepares his final attack, and Lloyd, Harumi, Misako, and Jay are shocked by who came up in Ignacia, and they know the only way they'll get answers about Liv, is to ask her, but if Liv's with Alex, and Alex is the one they can't find, then the question is, how will they find both of them, and get answers to both of their questions. . .
Will Lloyd and Jay find Liv? Will The Plague Doctor be defeated? Will Eric and Alex find Siddie?
