The next morning, Izuku was greeted by pounding on his door. He groaned into his pillow before raising his head.

It's morning? She never even called me about dinner. Maybe she worked all night?

He scratched his head and got out of bed. He hadn't even bothered changing his clothes when he got home from Mei's shop.

"Coming!" he called out.

He scratched his stomach as he opened the door. He was greeted by a panicked Mei who was sweaty and her eyes were red.

"Are you ok? What happened?" he asked sounding and looking alarmed by her appearance.

"Tomura... Can't find him."

"Wait- what happened? Why are you looking for him?!"

"I- he came by asking for help with some math and work problems. I told him to meet me in the morning for coffee. I had second thoughts about it and he was gone. I searched for everywhere. I can't find him."

"Maybe he needed to do something or he's hanging with Himiko?"

"He won't answer his phone."

"Let me call him. Maybe he did get into a car accident or something."

Mei walked into the house after her best friend. Izuku disappeared into the hallway for his bedroom leaving her alone in the living room. She could see all of Tomura's stuff scattered about. It made her angry and her heart clenched painfully. It was all her fault. She needed to find the ex villain before he hurt her best friend.

Izuku walked back out and shrugged,

"He answered. He said he went out of town for a drive and he'll be back later."

Mei relaxed some.

"O-ok."

She turned around and headed for the door.

"I'm going to go sleep. I'm exhausted."

Izuku smiled.

"Alright. Maybe we can have dinner tonight."

She laughed nervously, "Sounds good."

After she left, Katsuki called his phone. Izuku frowned.

How'd he get my number?

"Hello?"

"Deku? Are you ok?"

"I'm fine. How the hell did you get my number?" he asked.

The anxiety was clawing at him now.

"We need to talk. Have you had breakfast yet?"

"N-no. I just woke up."

"You still like blueberry muffins and cinnamon rolls? Coffee, two cream no sugar?"

"Yea."

I can't believe he remembers that.

"Get here soon."

"Alright."

"Bye."

"Bye."

Izuku hung up and placed his phone on his computer desk.

What the fuck happened while I was asleep?

Izuku parked his motorcycle. He walked to the glass doors of his ex's hero agency and went in. No one glanced at him as he made his way to Katsuki's office. His legs almost felt heavy like they were made of lead. For some reason, he felt this wasn't a friendly visit. Something happened and it wasn't going to be good. Something was wrong.

Izuku stood at the doorway to his office. Katsuki wasn't there. He let out a relieved sigh and sat down at the chair in front of the giant desk. He needed a few moments to prepare himself. He hoped everything was ok between Katsuki and Ochako. She was really good for him. She was a great person too.

I never got back to her... About her offer.

"Hey."

Izuku jumped and turned in his seat. Katsuki stood there with two coffee and a bag of baked goods. Something about him didn't seem right.

"Are you ok-

"I'm fine," he said flatly.

Izuku looked around trying not to stare at Katsuki. He was dressed rather normally in a black shirt and ripped up black pants.

"You still dress the same."

Katsuki smirked and handed him his coffee, "So do you. Always in your All Might merch."

Izuku chuckled.

Now it was awkward.

"Sooooo... what did you call me over here for anyways?"

Katsuki's jaw clenched as he avoided those emerald eyes.

"I have some info on Dabi..."

"Oh. What did you find out?"

"Something unpleasant."

His stomach twisted.

"O-oh."

Katsuki pulled open a drawer on his desk then pulled out a folder.

"I had someone discover where Dabi lived. It's someplace I wouldn't have thought he was living."

"Is he living near me or something?"

"No... Someone was with him last night."

No. Please don't say it.

Katsuki slid the folder over to Izuku.

"I'm sorry."

Izuku stared down at that folder with his heart slamming against his chest. He opened it slowly with his hand shaking.

Oh dear god no.

It was clear as day. That messy blue gray hair. Tomura Shigaraki was holding hands with Dabi- his terrible ex boyfriend. The next picture was them against Dabi's apartment door kissing and groping on each other. The next was them disappearing into Dabi's apartment. It was dated all last night. The next one was this morning.

He saw that they both had taken a shower with the way his hair laid flat against his head. They both had the biggest smiles on their faces. They were holding hands again. The next one was them kissing and the next them leaving the hallway. The next set was them on the streets. It was on the nicer side of town.

Izuku closed the folder. He almost felt sick.

But...

He almost expected this. Tomura had said himself he felt like things were unfinished.

"We have Himiko watching. Trust me... She was pretty fucking pissed this morning. She trashed the lounge. Vlad had to come get her."

Izuku threw the folder against the wall.

"Deku- I'm sorry."

The quirkless man pulled at his green curls as his eyes watered. Katsuki jumped up and grabbed Izuku's forearm. Much to Izuku's surprise, the blonde man embraced him. Izuku cried hard into his shoulder. This wasn't how things were supposed to go.

After a while, he coughed and held his head against Katsuki's shoulder trying to calm himself down. It had been a while since he cried so much. It was so painful. When shit went down with Katsuki, it wasn't painful like this. The blonde man broke away from him and grabbed the tissue box from his book case.

"Here."

"Th-thanks."

"You wanna sit down and eat."

"S-sure."

Katsuki grabbed Izuku's chair and pulled it behind the desk beside of his. They sat down and ate in silence. Maybe it was all he needed. He needed someone other than Mei to talk too. His circle was extremely small and he preferred it that way. He glanced over at Katsuki and the blonde shot him a smile.

He snorted into his coffee.

"What? What the fuck is so funny?"

"Nothing Kacchan. Nothing."

Silence again.

"Um... If we need back up, you willing to help?"

Izuku looked surprised.

"What do you mean?"

"We have people watching but there's rumors Dabi is trying to pull together the League of Villains again."

"Tomura doesn't want that."

"Himiko is going in like she wants too. She's pretty determined to take Dabi down."

"Oh."

She must really be pissed.

Katsuki pulled out a thick, yellow folder.

"Himiko has been on this job for some time."

Izuku's eyes widened.

"So... she knew he was coming?"

"She wanted to let Shigaraki live his life but I guess when he stepped into your life and you two started a romance, she wanted to give out a warning. Dabi doesn't know he's being played."

Izuku stared straight ahead.

"She told me she warned him to stay away from that freak but I guess he had been going out at night a few times a week."

"I... I didn't know."

Awkward silence.

"I was wrong though."

The quirkless man stared at Katsuki with a bewildered look on his face. The Katsuki he knew would never admit to being wrong.

"You two do look good together. How happy you are. I was pretty pissed because I thought maybe there was some game to using you but..."

Katsuki grabbed his coffee.

"But what?"

"I was a little jealous. Mei gave me tapes of your training sessions. Your uses on all the weapons and gadgets you made. You were never useless or weak. In fact... you could've been the hero you always wanted to be."

Izuku blinked. His eyes started to sting with tears.

"That's all I ever wanted to hear Kacchan."

The blonde grabbed his hand and squeezed it.

"I'm sorry I was late to saying it."

"It's ok."

They fell silent for a few moments.

"What... What are you going to do?" Katsuki asked.

Izuku scratched his head.

"Nothing."

"Huh?"

"I don't want to say anything."

"Ok, as smart as you are... That's pretty fucking dumb."

"Yea it is but I want him to tell me himself."

"That's still fucking dumb."

He nodded.

"But I understand why. You think you can play it out until he does?"

"I think so."

"THAT ASSHOLE!" Mei screamed.

"Don't worry about it. Can you place me at five in the morning to noon? I don't want you to fire him because he needs his job."

"Are you fucking kidding me?!"

Izuku shrank back in his seat.

"You want me to keep him here?!" she bellowed, her voice bouncing off the walls.

"Isn't he your friend too?"

Mei dropped her arms and flopped down in her chair. She covered her eyes, trying to hide the fact she was going to cry.

"Listen... I am upset but I don't want to make this hard on anyone. Just let it go Mei. Everything will be alright."

She started sobbing into her hands.

"Why are you crying?!"

She looked up at him with her face red and her yellow eyes watery.

"I just so bad wanted you to be happy."

Izuku dropped his gaze.

"Don't worry about it. If... he's finally happy, I'm happy."

"Don't f-feed me that bull shit!"

He stood up.

"I need some time to myself. Maybe tomorrow when he comes in for work, he'll tell me the truth."

Mei said nothing.

Tomura sat up as his phone went off with a text. His legs were tangled up in Dabi's sheets. The villain was fast asleep beside of him. They pretty hadn't done much other than eat, sleep and fuck for the last day. He grabbed his phone to see it was a message from Mei. His heart thumped in an ugly way.

Mei: I got your schedule starting tomorrow. I know you've been busy studying and whatever. Sorry about last night, I was just tired.

Saturday: 12:30pm to 8:30pm

Sunday: Off

Monday: 12:15pm to 9pm

Tuesday: 12pm to 9pm

Wednesday: Off

Thursday: 1pm to 11pm

Friday: 11am to 10pm

He frowned at the text message. Mei wasn't the type to plan out what time they worked. They just did whatever they wanted. Unless it was because they were a week behind?

Tomura: Ok. Sounds good. Do I work with Izuku this week?

Mei: I can give you his schedule.

Tomura: Alright

Mei:

Saturday: 5am to 12:15pm

Sunday: 9am to 8pm

Monday: Off

Tuesday: 3am to 12pm

Wednesday: Off

Thursday: 3am to 12:45pm

Friday: 12am to 9am

Tomura: Did something happen?

Mei: Nope. Just catching up on extra shit. I'll be there from 6am to 6pm everyday. ttyl

Tomura: Ok

"Everything ok?" Dabi asked as he rubbed his eyes.

"Huh? Yea."

The villain could see the text messages from Mei.

"So... you work with the famous support hero Mei Hatsume?"

The ex villain nodded.

"Impressive."

Tomura put his phone down and ran a hand through his messy hair.

"I... I can't believe I did this."

"Did what?" Dabi asked.

"I just cheated on my boyfriend."

The room fell silent.

"Did you actually love him?"

Yea, I do. What did I do?!

"Just break it off with him."

Tomura turned to stare at him.

"What?"

"You still love me, don't you? That's why you came with me. Just break it off."

"O-ok. I should. He deserves that... He's too nice."

"What kind of quirk does he have anyways?"

"He doesn't have one."

"That's rare. How interesting."

"Yea."

I fucked up so bad. Mei is going to beat the shit out of me. She's going to kill me...

"You want pizza? You still like everything but mushrooms right?"

"Y-yea."

"If you want, you can shower. It's hard for me to shower because the water hits my skin and steams up the bathroom bad."

"Alright, thank."

Tomura stood in the shower and let the cold water hit his face. What the fuck. What the fuck did he do? He was so swept up in his own emotions... The past slapped him hard in the face. Part of him... what part of him wanted Dabi that bad, he just followed him fucking home? Didn't he remember everything he did?

He apologized.

Doesn't mean anything.

He changed.

Doesn't change what he did.

I'm a terrible person.

Tomura put his face in his hands and cried.

What did I do?!

I'm leaving it off there. I finished the last chapter today making it 26 chapters altogether. Well, I'll post a little more tomorrow. Have a great night everyone!
