Authors note: Hey so i'm very sorry for disappearing, I think i'm back now. This is definitely not my best work, but i really wanted to finish this for you:) Also i apologise in advance for any spelling mistakes, its the middle of the night as im writing this.

Chapter 22- Keep Calm and Carry On
Valerie woke up to the feeling of someone shaking her.
"Val!", she heard Dean's voice.
"Dean?", Valerie asked, squinting her eyes against the light.
"Hey, you're okay", he helped her to sit up.
"Is that blood?", a woman, whom Valerie had not yet noticed said.
"What the hell happened here?", Dean asked Valerie, who was still waking up.
"W-we got home, but some lady was waiting for us. She banished Castiel and knocked me out. I don't know what happened to Sam", she grabbed her head and groaned.
"What lady? Do you remember what she looked like?", Dean asked. "British. She was british… I think. I-I can't believe you're alive", Valerie was still very groggy.
"Yeah I've been getting that since 2007, heh", Dean said, "Come on", he helped her stand up and get her balance before letting go of her arm. Dean, Valerie and the woman, Valerie still didn't know who she was, went to go check out the bunker.
"So… Who's the chick?", Valerie leaned up to ask, so that only Dean could hear her.
"Uhmm… It's… Our mom", Dean said.
"What?!", Valerie gaped.
"Yeah, it's a lot", Dean said.
"Yeah, it is".
Dean pulled a gun out of his pocket and handed it to Mary.
"Stay here", he said, and Valerie and Dean left mary standing with a slightly confused look on her face.
"Sammy? Cas?", Dean called out.
"Sam?", Val contributed.
Suddenly, they heard Mary talking to someone, so they hurried over to the library where she was. When they entered the library, the saw that she had her gun pulled on Castiel.
"Whoa whoa whoa whoa", Dean said, holding up his hands in defense, "It's okay. He's a friend, all right? Hey Cas".
"Dean", Castiel said, and Valerie realized that he'd thought Dean was dead up until this very moment. Castiel threw his arms around Dean and hugged him tight, and although Dean pretended to be awkward about it, Valerie could see that he leaned into the embrace.
"I can't believe you're alive. What about the Darkness? And the bomb?", Castiel asked, stepping away from Dean.
"I'll tell you everything I promise. Where's Sam?", Dean asked.
"He's not here", Castiel said.
"Are you a hunter?", Mary asked.
"I'm an angel", Castiel said at the same time as Dean and Valerie said; "He's an angel".
"I'm sorry, what?", Mary said.
"Angel. Capital "A". Harp and halo. The whole thing", Dean said.
"I don't have a harp", Castiel said, slightly offended.
"This is Castiel. Cas This is… Mary Winchester", Dean said.
"Your mother", Castiel said.
"Yeah. So, wait, uh, where – where is Sam? He's not answering his phone, there's blood on the floor. Val doesn't remember anything except a british lady. What's going on?", Dean asked.
"I don't know. We came back here, there was a woman waiting for us, probably the british lady Valerie remembers. She blasted me away. I don't know who she was. I don't know what happened to Sam".
"I don't understand. What happened?", Mary asked.
"Well the bunker is empty, so they're obviously not here. You guys said woman, so not a demon or an angel. She was human?"
"She was human", Castiel confirmed.
"When did this go down?", Dean asked, walking over to a table and got his laptop.
"It was 2.12 am", Castiel said.
"I-is that a computer?", Mary asked, staring at Dean's laptop.
"Yes. I don't trust them", Castiel said.
"Got something. An S.U.V. ran a red light a few blocks from here at 2:21 a.m. And there wasn't another car for 40 minutes", Dean had pulled up the street cameras and looked through them.
"How did you do that?", Mary asked.
"I hacked the traffic cams", Dean said.
"Welcome to the future", Valerie said, "you think it's them?", she went to stand behind Dean, leaning on the back of his chair.
"It's worth a shot", Dean said, turning to look at her.

They all walked into the garage. Dean looked around proudly at all the cars, when he saw that Mary was staring at Baby.
"This was John's car. Oh she's still beautiful", Mary said as she walked over to the impala.
"Hell yeah she is", Dean said.
"Hey sweetheart", Mary said, caressing the car.
Mary leaned down to look inside the car. A sly smile ran over her lips, and as the realization hit Dean, Valerie snickered slightly.
"We should go", Dean said, clearing his throat.
"Yup", Valerie said.

Valerie, Dean, Castiel and Mary walked into the garage of a man, they had found might be involved in Sam's disappearance.
"Jamie Ross?", Valerie asked.
"Who's asking?", Jamie said.
Castiel stepped forward.
"The blond lady you drove yesterday. What was her name?", Castiel asked.
"I don't know what you're talking about", Jamie said. Castiel lost his patience and headbutted the man twice.
"Cas!", Dean said.
"That's an angel?", Mary asked.
"Blonde. Name. Now", Castiel said.
"I-I-I don't know her name!", Jaime said, sounding intimidated by Castiel.
"Then what do you know", Castiel asked firmly.

Valerie and Castiel were buying coffee, and while Castiel was ordering Valerie was looking at Mary, who was sitting at a table watching people. Castiel went over to sit with Mary as Valerie waited for their order to get ready. then after a minute, the barista tapped her on the shoulder, signaling that their coffee was ready. She grabbed the coffee and went to sit next to Castiel.
Dean came over to them.
"Find something?", Valerie asked, taking a sip of her coffee.
"Yeah, I uh ran the tail number that what's-his-face gave us. The plane that Evil Elsa flew in on has diplomatic registry", Dean said.
"Which means?", Mary asked.
"Which means it's flight plans are sealed unless you want to hack the State Department", Dean said.
"Who are these people?", Mary asked.
Suddenly Castiel looked up and saw Gregory Marions vehicle.
"Dean", Castiel said pointing the vehicle, which was headed for the clinic. They followed the vehicle, and as Gregory was unloading the van, Dean stepped up behind him and pressed his gun against the back of his head.
"How about you let us in, dr. Marion?", Dean said.

They were inside dr. Marion's house, dr. Marion sitting at his desk and the others standing in front of him.
"So you dug the bullet out of his leg? No questions asked?", Dean asked the doctor.
"She offered me 100 grand", the doctor said.
"And you took it?", Valerie asked.
"Student loans were a bitch, okay?".
Castiel started angrily walking towards the doctor.
"Castiel", Valerie started walking towards Castiel to intercept him, but Dean beat her to it.
"Cas, hey don't hurt him. Not yet", Dean said after grabbing Castiel's arm.
"All right, look, she didn't give me her name. When we were done, the driver bailed, I got paid, and then some other chick shows up, and they all drive away", dr. Marion.
"And that's everything you know?", Mary asked.
"Yeah. Totally", the doctor said insincerely.
"Okay, now you can hurt him", Valerie said.
Castiel walked up to the doctor and grabbed him by his collar.
"Okay! ahh I have a phone number. Look I don't know where they are, okay? But she called me a couple of hours ago asking about the sedative I gave the dude, so I have her phone number", the doctor said desperately.

They had dr. Marion call the lady.
"Hey I was just calling to check on the patient", he said very unconvincingly.
"I'm hanging up now", the lady said. before she got the canche though, Dean took the phone from the doctor.
"Listen to me, bitch", he said, "I don't care who you are and I don't care what you want. You have my brother".
"Dean Winchester. People told me you were dead", the woman said
"Well that's obviously wrong", Dean said, "now i'm gonna give you one - and only one - chance to hand Sam back".
"Not possible. Sorry".
"Oh you think you can run from me? Try. Because when I find you – and I will find you – if he is not in one piece, I will take you apart. You understand me?", Dean said in a voice so threatening that even Valerie got a bit intimidated.
The lady hung up, and Dean broke Marion's phone in half.

They were all driving in the Impala when suddenly a truck came crashing into the side Valerie and Mary were sitting int, knocking them both out.
Valerie woke to the sound of gunshots as ms. Watts fell to the ground, angel blade sticking out of her chest.
"Thanks, mom", she heard Dean say as she was still coming to.

Valerie was helping Castiel and Dean push the van belonging to ms. Watts into the bushes and covering it up. Dean went over to Mary, and as Valerie and Castiel came over, they all got into the Impala and drove away to the tones of Black Sabbath.

So I randomly got a burst of inspiration at like 1 am so I finished this chapter :) It's currently 1:16 am and i'm very tired lol. But anyways I hope I will be able to update more now:)
