Part Twenty
Kitty and Jackie are sat at the kitchen table putting icing onto cupcakes,
"Sweetie I have been thinking that tomorrow after your appointment we have a baby shower for you "
"Oh really?! Kitty i would love that! Thank you so much! I love you mom"
"Aw sweetie that's the nicest thing anyone has said to me. Here have a cupcake!" Jackie smiles happily biting into the cake icing all over her face.
Jackie later that evening got into bed beside Hyde whose reading a music magazine,
" hey doll how was your evening?" Hyde asks kissing her cheek,
"Great. Tomorrow I'm having a baby shower!"
"Very nice. You have icing on your chin by the way!"
"Oh thanks. So listen since we are going to find out the sex tomorrow I was thinking about possible names"
"Funny you should mention that cause I have been doing the same thing " hyde says revealing a baby naming book inside his magazine " aw Steven. Let's have a look " Jackie takes the book and notices Hyde had put crosses next to the names he liked,
"Aw Steven "
"Yeah I quite like Daniel for a boy" Jackie thinks before giving a small smile,
"Daniel. I like it "
"Yeah and if its okay I wanted the middle name to be William after W.B "
"That sounds lovely. Steven I actually found a girls name i like"
"Oh yeah?"
"Amber. Amber Kitty Hyde "
"Wow Jackie I love it more importantly Kitty is going to love that!" They kiss each other before Jackie goes to sleep whilst hyde actually reads his magazine.
Jackie lay on the hospital bed hyde holding her hand as they both look engrossed at the screen,
" ah now I can see the sex of the baby . Would you both like to know?"
"More than anything!"
"Congratulations Mr and Mrs hyde your having a baby girl "
"Oh Steven a daughter!" Hyde happily kisses her head,
" now I have two special girls in my life" Kitty and Donna had just finished decorating the sitting room for the baby shower when red enters in his work uniform and groans,
"Ohh kitty do we need to have the shower here ! They have their own house plus I want to sit in my chair , drink beer and watch telly"
"Oh red you don't have to be here now go over Bob's and I will call you when its done "
"Can I atleast change out my uniform " red sulks upstairs while kitty and Donna sit on the couch and wait excitedly for Jackie to arrive. A few minutes later Jackie and Hyde enter the house to find everyone in the sitting room in anticipation,
"Hey everyone"
"Oh please don't keep us waiting sweetie!" Hyde wrapped his arm around Jackie both smiling happily,
"Its a girl" they say together everyone cheering as they hug them,
" uh there's something else we have picked a name . Uh we decided on Amber Kitty Hyde" kitty was speechless as she places her hand on her chest touched by the gesture,
" oh my... I am so touched that you would do that " she hugs them before leading Jackie onto the couch,
"Fellas leave its shower time!" The men didn't need any warning they were out of there quickly leaving the women to fuss over Jackie and the bump.
The boys were in the basement hyde and Eric was watching telly whilst Kelso was pacing clearly agitated by something,
"Oh for god sake Kelso stop pacing!"
"I can't. I am thinking it helps me "
"Wow you think!"
" haha very funny hyde! But I'm having a dillema here" hyde sighs,
"Okay spill "
"Well broke is up there at the baby shower...with Angie...what if they talk?!"
"You never learn do you kelso! Of course women talk its what they do!"
"Look its different than when I was with jackie I have a child with Brooke. When I cheated on Jackie I only hurt her now there's a child involved " hyde stands and walks over to kelso,
" so let me get this straight your saying that cheating on Jackie and breaking her heart was better than your two exes talking about you" kelso looks uneasy unsure how to answer,
"Kelso. Today I found out I am having a daughter and I felt that there was nothing I would do for her or the incredible woman growing her inside of her body. Maybe you should learn to show Brooke and Betsy the same respect!" Everyone was silent as hyde left the house and leaned against his car,
"Steven all okay son?" Red asks ,
"Yeah just kelso being kelso"
"Say no more. So a little girl huh"
"Yeah"
"You will love her more than anything...then she grows up and takes all your money "
"Well my donna is my little angel...then someone's son defiled her!"
"Bob could be worse . Could of been kelso!" Hyde jokes when Jackie and Donna walk out the patio doors, donna holding her hand as Jackie woddled uncomfortable over to hyde,
"Home time?"
"Yeah Jackie is not feeling great. To many cookies and has heartburn. Kitty says red will drop the presents tomorrow "
"Nice to know kitty decides and speaks for me" hyde and donna helped Jackie into the car.
Hyde tucked a tired half asleep Jackie into bed kissing her forehead,
"Night angel. You get some rest" hyde turns off the light and heads out the bedroom and enters the babies room smiling to himself. He never thought that he would be married to such a beautiful woman and having kids. He honestly felt blessed and genuinely happy. He knew what he wanted to do he was going to paint the room, he knew what colour Jackie wanted for if it was a girl. He checked his watch and then rushed out to the store, he was going to work harder than he's ever worked before for his family, he would never let this family fall apart.
