Author's Note:

To alleviate confusion for why there's a decrease in chapters, I can explain. During my temporary hiatus I combined chapters 1-2, 3-4 and 18-19 into one chapter so to reduce the amount of time you guys would have to waste to read these chapters. Does that alleviate the situation for you guys?

"Kurogiri, get rid of these two", Tomura snarled, pointing at the three wannabe villains, "I can already tell, they're the kind of trash I hate. A brat, a thug with no manners and a pompous fool."

"Now, Shigaraki", Kurogiri tried to explain, "They came all this way, at the very least we should hear what they have to say. Just give them a chance. Besides, Giran is a well respected broker in the criminal underworld, they're bound to be useful in some way."

"Like 'em or not, you still owe me a finder's fee in cash.", Giran chuckled as he smoked on a cigarette. "I suppose I could introduce these three before I make my leave. The adorable high school girl right? Wrong. She's a suspect in a series of deaths where every victim bled out. So far her name and face have been kept out of the media."

"Toga here.", the schoolgirl said cheerfully, "Himiko Toga! Life is too hard, I just want to make it easier to live my life in this dumb world. I wanna be Mr. Stainy! I wanna kill Stainy! C'mon handyman, let me join your League of Villains!"

"You're kidding me", Shigaraki sighed, "Is she crazy?"

"She can hold a conversation for the most part at least. She can be useful", Giran commented before pointing at the tailed woman, "This chick, ooh is she a doozy. Wanted throughout the country for 15 counts of larceny and 22 counts of murder. She's known throughout the media as-"

"Yoshino Serizawa, but you can call me Lady Scorpio", the woman bowed elegantly, "But you probably already knew that."

"Are you also well known for your rudeness in interrupting people mid sentence?", Shigaraki glared, "The last thing I need is some pompous idiot who'll get us caught for something stupid."

"Easy now, that tail of her's is a barbed stinger.", Giran warned, "One strike and you're done for." He then pointed to the burnt man.

"This guy over here hasn't committed any flashy crimes, but he's sworn follower of Stain's ideology."

"I don't like this...", the burnt man said, "Are you sure your group is dedicated to the Hero Killer's mission? I find it hard to believe if this psycho is willing to join you.", he glared at Toga who chuckled sheepishly.

"Oh grow up...", Shigaraki rolled his eyes, "She's psychotic, sure, but at least she knows how to introduce herself to people. Don't just stare. What's your name?"

"I'm going by Dabi at the moment."

"No, I want your real name."

"When you need to know, I'll tell you. Other than that my new purpose is to carry out the Hero Killer's will", Dabi coldly answered.

"Jeez. Why is everyone so hung up on Stain?", Shigaraki complained as he stood up. "He's all I ever hear about. EVERY DAMN DAY. It's PISSING ME OFF!"

"Don't do it", Kurogiri begged.

"You three are history!", Tomura lunged at the three villains. Immediately Dabi's arm engulfed in blue flames preparing for battle while Himiko brandished a knife and Yoshino jabbed forward with her tail. Kurogiri however intercepted the four's attacks by creating a mass array of portals, forcing their attacks to miss.

"Please calm yourself, Tomura Shigaraki.", he demanded, "If you want your desires to be realized, then we must increase our numbers. Now that we're in the spotlight, our chance is at hand. I advise you to be more accepting." He leaned towards Shigaraki's ear. "You must use them and Stain's ideology to your advantage", he whispered.

The lanky boy relented before walking away, disgusted.

"Where are you off to", Giran asked.

"Shut up.", he responded, slamming the door behind him.

"I try not to complain about a client, but he's far too young and immature."

"I really thought he was gonna kill us there for a second", Toga blushed.

"That guy makes me wanna vomit.", Dabi scoffed.

"He does that again and I'll gut him like a fish...", Serizawa glared hatefully.

"Shall we get back to you about recruitment at a later date?", Kurogiri asked three. "I believe our leader knows what he has to do. That's why he left as he did. He understands his circumstances. All Might, then the Hero Killer-he's been humbled twice recently. I'm sure he'll bring you an answer that will satisfy both of your desires.

"Well if this meeting is postponed, I guess I'll be going", Serizawa stated before walking out the door.

"And where do you think you're going?", Dabi asked suspiciously.

"I'm just going to pay someone a little visit, that's all."

The Next Day, U.A. High

"I can't wait for you guys to come back to tell us how fun camp was...", Ashido wept.

"Maybe they'll end up letting you go!", Midoriya tried to reassure her, "There might be a last minute twist or something."

"Stop Midoriya", Sero tugged at his shoulder, "By saying that, you're just jinxing them."

"They said whoever failed the exams, wouldn't be able to go to camp and would have to go to summer school hell.", Kaminari lamented. "We didn't pass the practicals, so we're doomed. DON'T YOU GET IT MIDORIYA?! OR DID ALL MIGHT KNOCK ALL THE BRAINS OUTTA YOU?"

"Ease up Kaminari", Sero told him, "I'm not sure I'll get to go either. Our team passed only because of Mineta. I got knocked out and since we don't know how they're scoring stuff I might've flunked."

"At least bring back lots of souvenirs please?!"

The door suddenly slid open, revealing Aizawa. "Once the bell rings, you should be in your seats.", he admonished.

The students all quickly scrambled to their seats.

"Unfortunately, there are a few of you who didn't pass your final exams. So when it comes to the training camp in the woods...EVERYONE IS GOING!"

"It's a last minute twist!", Ashido, Kaminari, Sato and Kirishima cried in joy.

"We really get to go to camp?"

"Seriously?"

"Yeah. The good news is nobody failed the written portion. Five however failed the practical badly. Two teams of course and Sero as well."

"Crap I knew it.", Sero lamented, "Mineta made it to the gate but I didn't do nearly enough to pass."

"Allow me to explain", Aizawa continued. "For the practical battles, the teachers made sure to leave a way for the students to win. Otherwise you would've never stood a chance. We were interested in observing how you each worked together and approached the task at hand."

"But didn't you say the teachers wouldn't be holding back?", Ojiro asked.

"That was just to get you on edge. Besides, the training camp will focus on building your strength. Those who failed need those lessons the most. We were never gonna separate you. It was just a logical deception we used."

"WHY YOU-", Yuuki started to growl, enraged that she was tricked again.

"He tricked us all. I should've expected this.", Iida groaned, "Mr. Aizawa this is the second time you lied to us! Aren't you afraid we'll lose faith in you?"

"Uh a little blunt there Tenya.", Uraraka sighed.

"That's a good point, I'll consider it. But I wasn't lying to you about everything", Aizawa stated. "Failure is failure. We prepared extra lessons for the five of you. Frankly, they'll be far tougher than what you'd face at summer school."

After School

"This is gonna be great.", Ojiro said, "I'm so glad we're all going together."

"Looks like we'll be at the training camp a full week", Iida read the guide.

"I've gotta find a better suitcase", Midoriya noted.

"Yeah, I don't even have a bathing suit.", Kaminari added, "Guess I need to buy some stuff."

"Like night vision goggles!", Mineta recommended.

"Or our very own tents", Obihiro smirked.

"Guys, since we're off tomorrow and we finally finished exams, I have the best Idea", Hagakure pointed out, "How about we all go shopping for camp stuff together?"

"Hey yeah!", Kaminari answered, "We've never hung out as a class before."

"I suppose it would be nice.", Takane smiled.

"Bakugo, see you there right?", Kirishima turned to the frayed haired boy.

"I can't think of anything more annoying.", he responded.

"Will you come as well Todoroki and Tatsuma?", Midoriya approached the two boys.

"I visit my mom on my days off.", Todoroki answered.

"Can't, me and sis are celebrating at a sushi place."

"Don't be such a party pooper!", Sakamata pouted at the two boys.

The Next Day, Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall

"Oh man do I love this place", Ashido said, "It's got a ton of different stores to go shopping at and they're all super cool and hip. The Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall!"

"They carry designs for all body types" Mirdoriya mumbled to himself, "and a range of gear for everyone from teens to seniors. The logistics of-"

"You're going to scare the children. Stop", Tokoyami interrupted him.

"Woah! Aren't those U.A. Students?!" a man pointed at the group.

"1-A!", another shouted.

"I saw 'em on TV!"

"The sports festival was so good!"

"I can't believe they still remember that.", Uraraka chuckled.

"I wanna track down a new duffel bag to bring to summer training.", Jiro told Yaoyorozu.

"Really? Maybe the two of us should browse together.", the latter recommended.

"Let's see, where can I get a lockpicking kit and a small drill?", Mineta searched.

"Guess I should buy some outdoorsy shoes for this thing.", Kaminari said.

"Oh that's smart, me too!", Hagakure added.

"The guide said that shoes should already be broken in though!", Iida interrupted the two before relenting. "But wait perhaps it's a mistake to not factor utility into the equation."

"So then why don't we split up and search around?", Kirishima asked, "We can meet again here once we're done."

"Great idea!", Ashido complimented.

"Perfect. Let's say we meet up back at three?"

"Sounds good!", the rest of the class agreed.

"Hey Aoyama, let's check if they got any tents that would match our graceful poise.", Obihiro confronted him.

"Oh that would be rather serendipitous!", the french impersonator agreed.

"T-t-tokoyami?", Takane walked up to the bird headed boy, "M-m-maybe we could go search for some flashlights, you know? For telling scary stories at night."

"That sounds good. I would love to.", he nodded, earning a smile from the moth girl.

As the two were gathering supplies, Kasumi couldn't help but wonder what she could say to Fumikage about her rising feelings for him while the latter remained oblivious, focusing on finding the perfect camp supplies.

"How do I approach Tokoyami with how I feel right now?", she pondered. "Perhaps I could walk up to him and tell him how I feel- no, that won't work. But I could give it a try at least..."

"Err T-tokoyami?", Kasumi approached him at the flashlight section. "There's something I want to say."

"Hm? What is it?", he turned to her.

"Well the thing is I wanted to s-say...I t-t-think I've fallen for you-", she began, face turning red with every stutter.

"Are you two U.A. students?", a feminine voice interrupted her as an elegantly dressed woman approached the duo.

"Why yes we are.", Fumikage bowed, "Is there something you wanted to ask us about?"

"Of course", the woman said. "I just wanted to talk with the girl right there. I have something very important to tell her"

The woman suddenly slinked towards Kasumi in an almost inhuman manner as a long scorpion-like tail drooped down, causing the girl's eyes to widen in shock, realizing who this woman was. "Y-you're...", she tried to say before the woman suddenly wrapped her arm around her neck, leaning to her face.

"Dark Shadow...", Fumikage whispered, realizing his friend was in danger. The sentient being emerged out of him preparing to attack until...

"Ah ah ah", Yoshino warned the two in a sinister tone as her tail twitched closer to Fumikage's back, stinger prodding at his exposed neck. "I'd suggest you get rid of your little friend before I pump your neck full of neurotoxin that could kill an adult in under 3 minutes."

Realizing that there was no other option, Fumikage sighed. "Return...Dark Shadow", he said bitterly.

"But Fumi, she's-"

"We can't risk it..."

"Oh alright...", Dark Shadow receded back into its master, glaring fiercely at Yoshino as it did.

Satisfied that things were on her terms, she relented her attack. "Now then Kasumi.", she began. "How long are you gonna keep up this hopeless charade of being a hero?"

"I told you mother...", Takane retorted. "I refuse to become a criminal like you."

"Mother?", Tokoyami raised a brow, "You mean she's-"

"That's right...", Serizawa chuckled. "I'm Lady Scorpio. You catch on rather quickly."

Takane simply looked down, ashamed that her friend had to meet her villainous mother.

"It doesn't matter anymore though", Serizawa sneered. "Soon enough you'll help me return to my former glory, whether you want to or not Kasumi."

"What are you so confident about?", Tokoyami argued. "Aren't you afraid that I'll squeal? Or the fact that you're a wanted criminal?"

"You won't squeal", she breathed hoarsely in his ear, "Because if you do...who knows what will happen to poor little Kasumi if people found out her mother was a wanted villain?"

Tokoyami's eyes widened, remembering the words Kasumi told him back when they were training in Replica City.

"If people knew who I was, then I fear that bad things will happen. I'm certain some people would be willing to get their revenge on her through me."

"And besides, I found a new crowd to hang out with", Serizawa continued as she walked outside the store with her two hostages, looking down at a hooded boy sitting next to Midoriya.

"You don't mean-", Takane shook her head.

"The League of Villains", she smiled. "And that boy right there is the leader of the group."

"You won't get away with this!", Tokoyami gritted under his teeth. "The pros will stop-"

"Oh hush with that hero nonsense.", Serizawa interrupted. "Soon there will be no more heroes because once Stain's will is realized, society will see just how ugly these false heroes people cling to for safety are."

"Shut up...", Takane mumbled.

"What was that darling?"

"You have the audacity to claim that you're committing acts of terror for a greater cause, but I know you far too well. You're no 'savior', you're just a rotten criminal who only cares about yourself."

Serizawa's face contorted to that of pure fury. "It's funny you would say that, considering how selfish you're acting, defying your mother." She shoved Tokoyami to Takane before walking away. "Enjoy that false friend of yours while it lasts, because soon we'll be coming for you."

"We?"

"I think we should call the police", Fumikage whispered to Kasumi who nodded in agreement.

"Oh and by the way", Yoshino grinned maliciously, "You try to call for help, stop me or even follow me, I'm certain a couple of these 'citizens' will be impaled on my stinger by this day's end. Would you want it on your conscience that a couple of innocent people died because you wanted to play hero?"

Yoshino then merged with a nearby crowd before disappearing entirely.

Shortly after that encounter, the shopping mall was closed temporarily thanks to eyewitness reports from Tokoyami and Uraraka. However by the time the police and heroes swept through the area, Shigaraki and Serizawa were nowhere to be found. Midoriya and Takane were later taken to a nearby police station, interviewed by police detective Tsukauchi about the encounter they had with the two villains.

"From what I'm hearing, it sounds like the League isn't a monolithic organization", Tsukauchi said, "And it sounds as if Shigaraki's goal is to defeat All Might hasn't changed at all. What's really interesting is that Lady Scorpio has allied herself with the League despite her soloist M.O. Anyway thanks for the report you two, this helps."

"Oh, sure", Midoriya looked up. "I just wish there was some way we could've detained them".

"Don't worry. You both did a great job holding it together when so many lives were on the line. Nobody got hurt because you remained calm.", Tsukauchi reassured them.

Shortly after the interview, the two students were escorted outside where they were met by their parents and a cat looking officer.

"Izuku!", Midoriya's mother ran up to him, tears in her eyes, "I can't do this anymore. I don't think my heart can't handle another scare like that"

"I'm sorry", he reassured, "Everything's fine. There's no need to cry mom. The heroes and police have taken really good care of me all night"

"Father...", Takane looked down sadly as he approached her. "I'm so sorry"

"What are you apologizing for?", he asked. "It wasn't your fault that those villains showed up at the mall when they did."

"Sansa.", Tsukauchi turned to the feline cop, "Make sure they get home safe."

"Sir."

Undisclosed Location

"You seem oddly happy today master.", an old man in a doctor uniform said, "Is it because the League of Villains' roster continues to grow steadily"

"That's not why, doctor", a heavily scarred man coughed, "It's because Tomura Shigaraki has finally found his conviction."

He 'stared' at a monitor depicting Toga, Dabi, Serizawa and Shigaraki.

"The League of Villains needs people who will get behind his principles. I'll leave all of the decisions to him for now. If he asks for help, I step in and guide him. It's not a problem I see".

The man's mouth curled into a sly grin.

"In fact, I've been waiting for the day when he seeks my aid. I'm preparing for him to become the next me. My successor."
