important I have 4 chapters after this one and plan to try and update on Mondays tell they are all posted. That being said I also have a plan for more chapters as well. So the next two chapters can go two ways. One being the last chapter at 25 with a possibility of an epilogue or choice number 2 being more chapters after 25 in the next little while. So I really need people to review or pm me what they would like before next Monday and I will go with what more people would like to see. That being said the sooner I know the sooner you will get new chapters but if you all want more in will be a few weeks after I post chapter 25 that you will get more because I plan on going though the story and editing things that need fixed. The next morning Elijah and I stared to get rea for our day. After celebrating and partying with the family most of the night before we told them that Elijah, Lilly and I would be going out for a while which worked out because everyone was going off to do their own things. So, it worked out well. Elijah and I both were ready and went to meet Lilly so we could leave.
As we walked out of the room, I saw Lilly walking toward us.
"So, I called her, and we are good to come over anytime. Then at noon they are taking the kids to a park so he can play, she said she would be more than happy to have us come with them."
"Well lets heads out then." I told them and we made our way downstairs telling the others goodbye as we saw them, we made our way out to the car. Once we were all in Lilly told Elijah the address and we were on our way. Talking a little as we made our drive to the house it was a pretty nice morning.
Once we pulled up Elijah got out and opened both of our doors for us.
"Thank you" I told him as we all walked up to the house. Lilly knocks on the door and we wait. After a moment Sara opens the door.
"I'm so glad you could all come, please come in." Once we were all inside, she pushed the door shut and lead us to the living room.
"It's so nice to see you both again and it's so nice to meet you Elijah."
"The pleasure is all mine."
"We are so glad you wanted us to come back today" I told her.
"The boys should be down in a minute." She walked over to where the baby was laying on the floor and picked her up.
"In the meantime, Elijah this is my youngest Bella." She ended up handing the baby over to me.
"She is lovely."
"Thank you she has been fun to have." Just then we hear running down the stairs and someone saying to slow down.
A moment later little Elijah was in the doorway and a man walked up behind him as well.
"Lilly, Bella you came back."
"Of course, we did, we promised we would." Lilly told him as he hugged both of us.
"This is Elijah as well just like you."
"Hello, how are you?"
"I'm good we have the same name but your bigger than me."
"We do share a name and I am bigger. How old are you?"
"IM this many now." He said holding up three fingers.
"Well you are practically a young man." Little Elijah smiled a huge smile.
"This is my husband Sam, and this is Bella, Elijah and Lilly."
"It's nice to meet you all." The guy shook hands then we all went to set down and talk for a little while. We ended up telling them our story as little Elijah set on Big Elijah's lap playing with some little toys and I was holding the baby.
"You both are really good with kids, normally they are not too sure of new people, but they seem to just love you."
Little Elijah had now fallen asleep and the baby was asleep as well.
"Well I have always loved kids, when I was younger, I use to watch younger kids in the town so basically an early form of baby setting. Then after I became a midwife a few years after becoming what I am now. I have done it off and on over the years." I told her.
"So, you are a vampire but also a witch how does that work?"
"Normally when you're a witch and become a vampire you are no longer a witch but when I turned into a vampire, I stayed a witch as well. I was told it was for a reason that I was one of nature's loopholes. So, I have helped young vampires and witches train and adjust to this life of in a supernatural world. That is the thing with this life we have no idea what may happen at any point of time of time. All we ever know is that things are going to work, and we just have to trust that nature will work it out."
"You're a very insightful person" Sam said.
"I have been around a while."
"What do you do with all of your free time then?" Sara then asked us.
"When Elijah and I are together we like to learn new things, love to go to the theater. I love to read, we both do. Then when I'm alone I either help people or just travel around although I do that with Elijah as well."
"We really do things that any other couple would do. Now that Lilly is back in our lives, we have done a lot of family things and now that my family is all together, we have been spending time together." Elijah told them.
"Where are you living at now?"
"We are all living in Mystic Falls now."
"If you ever make your way to Mystic Falls let us know and we would love to have you stay with us." I told them.
"We would love that." Sara told us. We continued to talk while the kids slept the park trip long forgotten by the little boy who was now fast asleep with Elijah. They told us their story of meeting falling in love and getting married. We had lunch with them and just had fun getting to know them and talked most of the day.
Once the kids were awake, we did some playing with them, and we all just had a lot of fun and enjoyed our time together.
When five rolled around we all said our goodbyes and ended up inviting them to Elijah's and my wedding later in the year. We said goodbye to all of them and left. After a few moments in the car I realized we were not going the way to the house.
"Where are we going?" I asked Elijah.
"I thought it would be nice if we had a little family time just the three of us on this trip as well. So, I was going to take my two favorite girls out for a nice family dinner."
"Thank you Elijah I think that is a wonderful idea."
"I do as well dad." We talked a little on our way to the restaurant. Then once we got there Elijah opened both of our doors and we made our way up to the door. He held the door open for us and we all walked in. it was not to bust so we were seated quickly. We placed our order and then waited. While we waited, we talked about all kinds of things laughing and enjoying a nice little family dinner even after we got our food. It was everything I had always wanted for the three of us. To laugh around a dinner table and enjoy those moments that most families get to have. I know to the outside world that is not what they said but I was ok with that I did not care what everyone else around us thought. We knew what was true and in all our hearts. That is all that really matter to me at the end of the day. I finally had my family back, all my family for the first time ever and I was going to enjoy every moment that I was able to get. I knew once we got home that all the drama would be waiting for us but for this moment, I was going to enjoy this perfect beautiful moment that we were blessed with.
After dinner we decided to go to a movie that was down the road. Once the movie was over, we were walking back to the car Elijah and I holding hands and Lilly slightly in front of us.
"Look let's get ice cream" she said with a smile and headed to the door. We laughed and followed her. Once we had our ice cream, we ate it on our way back to the car.
"I love this ice cream" Lilly said.
"So, you have had it before?"
"Every time that I am here. Its been around forty years now, it's one of my favorites."
"Well you might be the best customer then."
"I probably am." We all laughed as we got in the car and headed back to the house. The drive was quick and soon we were back home and in the house.
"Good night mom and dad thank you for a perfect day."
"You're welcome sweetheart good night."
"Good night darling." She headed to her room as we made our way to our room saying good night to those still up and about the house.
We walked into our room and Elijah shut the door behind us.
"Today really was a good day."
"It was, its nice to see normal human life and be a part of it for a little while occasionally. Plus, it is always special to see you with kids. It gives a look into what life would have been like had we got the opportunity to raise Lilly or have other kids of our own as well."
"I know at times I wish things could be different as well. I do know that all that has happened has because it needed to happen the way it did. I also know that in the end we will be able to all be together and be able to enjoy being a family. I know things are kind of crazy now but what is life without a little crazy every now and then."
"Well even if it is crazy, I can handle that as long as I have you."
"Well you are stuck with me now."
"That is the best thing to ever happen to me, getting to be with you."
"I love you Elijah."
"I love you my Isabella."
We both got ready for bed and then climbed into bed Elijah pulled me to his side and I laid my head on his chest. We laid there quietly enjoying this beautiful moment after all of the crazy that had led us to bring here together all of our family with us as well.
"I love you."
"I love you, good night my love sleep well." Then we both drifted off to sleep after a perfect day.
