He had his instructions, to take this red earring, make up details of an early morning shooting, ask the woman in this warehouse if she knew anything about it, and then to put it on a cargo ship that was leaving the region. The tall blonde woman who paid him the generous amount of cash to carry out this relatively simple task walked away without telling him any more information than that. He figured since she had paid him so much money, he probably didn't need or want to know why he was doing this.

After the woman with the crazy hair said she knew nothing about the fictional murder, as he knew she would, he strolled down the street back to his car and he drove away. He didn't stop at any other building, he didn't talk to anyone, he just drove until he got to the wharf. Stepping out of his vehicle he walked up to a cargo ship that was just about to leave, as per his instructions. He casually stopped a passing crewman and handed him a few large bills along with the plastic bag that contained the singular red earring. Asking no questions, the crewman took it and boarded the ship. The officer waited a few minutes before he drove away and in his rearview mirror, he could see the ship pulling away from the dock.

The crewman took the money and the mystery earring. It was a small task for the money the officer gave him. The shipment was headed for Egypt before making other various stops in the Mediterranean. Examining the earring, it was of no use to him, but it looked expensive. He figured he could probably make a little extra cash if he sold it, and he wasn't wrong. When they got to the port of Alexandria, Egypt, he found the nearest pawn shop and sold it.
