Nick was slightly awake, he knew where he was and what's happing to him, with bunnies under the cover on top of the cover, and all over him. He likes these moments, where he knows he's fully rested, but just enjoys being lazy. That was until.

"*SLAME* rise and shine!" Judy yelled kicking open the door.

The suddenness made Nick just seat upright, flinging whoever was on him. His tail even puffed out. Nick was clutching his chest from the scare. The bunnies that were flung from his chest started groaning, some were growing from rolling off the side of the bed when Nick sat up. "Carrots! Don't do that!" he said.

"oh, what's wrong. Can't handle an early walk up call?" she asked.

"no, the sudden yelling is what you shouldn't do in the morning." He said then looked around, "that's why you should do it while we're here."

"yeah, aunt/cousin Judy." The bunnies said.

"oh, sorry. But Nick has to get ready. We're leaving in half an hour. If you're not ready by then you don't get Dinner. And if you try and just order something, then you know what will happen." Judy then made a movement that Nick recognized and shivered at the memory.

"right, be ready in ten." He said literally jumping from the bed and sprinting throw the door.

"yeah thought that would work." Judy said smiling,

"That was mean." Said one of the bunnies the was still in the bed and grabbed Nick's phones because he was into much of a rush to grab it, "he still has two hours before uncle would have called him." He then placed the phone back. The bunnies that fell off, climbed back up into bed to go back to sleep.

"well sleep well." She said and closed the door to let them sleep."

10 minutes later.

"where is everyone?" Nick asked while walking around from his shower. Fortunately for him, on his rush out of the room, he did grab a change of cloth. "I thought had to hurry.

"*yawn* what are you doing up so early." Asked Bonnie walking down the hall.

"oh, good morning Mrs. Hopps, Judy woke me up to do the stall work." Nick side

"well I don't know about you, but it's a bit too early for anyone to go to work at the stall. Don't you know what time it is?" she asked.

"hum? No, I tried to rush to get ready and forgot my phone. Got a fresh change of clothing in the rush. But I tried to shower fast so I used the bunnies size showers. though it would have been faster if I use the fox size one out back." He said.

"well…" she grabbed her phone and showed him the time. "Stu wouldn't call you for another hour and a half." She said.

"oh, I guess Judy got me again." he said. "well how do I spend the time, I'm too awake to go back to sleep." He said.

"well, how about you help me prepare breakfast for the first wave." She said.

"first wave?"

"yes, it just means the first few who wake up early to get the farm running. Usually, the ones who work in the field." She said. "and the ones who make the real meals for the rest of the family."

"sure, seeing that I don't have anything else to do." He said following Bonne.

Not too long after.

"so, what do you do when you're not taking care of others." Nick asked.

"what do you mean?" she said.

"I mean, you take care of so many bunnies. You have to do something for yourself to keep it all together." He said finishing off another plate.

"I can't say. With a house this big, you always have to be on your paws with a warren this big."

"but you should have close to thousands of bunnies in here, can't you put a few of them in charge so you can have time to yourself. When was the last time you had a day all to yourself?" Nick said.

"oh, last year. Stu and I took a lovely trip to Rio Deer Janeiro, Stu wanted to watch his team play, and I wanted to look at the landscape. I don't know if you notice, but it's all flat land for miles. Its dose get taring just staring at the land, especially after visiting the Zootopia."

"I see." He said, "so it's not that you tired of the same old land, you just want to see more then what you have, for just a second." He said.

"yes, that's it. I love home it will always be just beautiful to me, but I do want to see more of the world. I don't want to leave here, just see it every now and again. But I'm happy with my life as it is right now. What about you are you happy?"

"hm let's see, and please don't think differently of me after I say this." He said, "before meeting Judy, I was just living my life for myself. Ever since I was a just a cube, after trying to join a group to have some friends, I learned at a young age, foxes will never be accepted. So, I have been on my own or with others like me for a lot of my life. if the world is only going to see me for my species, then why don't I. foxes lie steal and cheat, so that's what I did, and for a long time, I was happy. But then Judy walked into my and everything changed. Not only did she threaten me with jail, but she showed me, that the world can actually for the better. So yeah, I miss my old life and the money I made. But being with Judy, the world has a bit more hope." He said.

"that's so sweet of you to say. And don't worry about your past, I do believe everyone deserves a second chance. And if Judy is by your side, you've more than earned it." she said. "I know I can trust Judy with you."

"thank you." He said smiling, "oh were done." He said seeing they ran out of food to place on more plates.

"looks like it." she said bringing over a rolling rack tray and placing some of the plates on the. "now come along. We have to place them on the table."

"right." He said.

A few hours later.

"That was not funny." Nick said the moment he saw Judy.

"I think you deserve it. you know what you did not too long ago." Judy said.

"yeah, no. I was woken up way too early to my liking, and because I thought I was in a rush, I used the indoor showered, which are cramped for me. And been awake for a few hours now." He said.

Judy was about to say something, "oh good you're finally ready." Stu said walking in and seeing Judy finally up because he saw Nick earlier.

"and I thought I took me time in the morning?" Nick said.

"what was that?" he asked.

"nothing." Nick said, "so what do we have to do to start working at the stall?" he asked.

"Well, first we have to off to the field and grab some of the harvests for the stall."

"But you were just in the fields, why didn't you pick some up?"

"well, yeah. I was just watering and trying to get the old tractor going, I think it might be on its last legs. So, I wasn't really picking up the harvest." Stu said.

"aw, old Bertha." Judy said. "I learned how to drive oh her." Judy said slightly upset.

"I wonder if that's why she such a dangerous driver." Nick said to himself.

"what was that!" Judy said, glaring at him.

"Nothing, nothing." He said waving his paw, "so, off to the field!" Nick saw marching to the door.

And that's all I have. Sorry if it feels short. I hope you like it.
