A/N

Hello, readers. Before we get into this chapter, I want opinions on something right quick. How would you all feel about a rewrite of chapters six and seven? I've been thinking about it for quite some time and I wanted to know what other people think. Looking back, I don't think I did that well with those two chapters, and there was definitely opportunity for something unique there. Because I already have an idea of how the rewrite would go, the revision wouldn't delay the next new chapter by much, and the two chapters would probably be rewritten within a week if I were to do it. Tell me what you all think in the reviews. Also, apologies for the relatively short chapter. Without spoiling anything, I think the next chapter new chapter will make up for this one with story progression and length. I hope you are enjoying this story, and as always, until next time!

The door to the 1-A classroom swung open and Aizawa walked in. "That's the bell. Take your seats." The class did as they were told while the erasure hero made his way over to the class podium. "Morning. About your final exams, sadly, we had some failures. Everyone except for Midoriya and Bakugo who failed received feedback to prevent said failures from happening again. That being said…" The homeroom teacher turned to look at the two boys. "Do you two know why you failed?"

Katsuki simply grunted and nodded while Izuku took a different approach. The quirkless boy opened his mouth and began talking. "I think I do, Sensei. But can you specify for me? I'd like to prevent this from happening again."

"Of course. The other teachers and I all sat down together and put teams together. As you know, many things were taken into consideration when coming up with the matches. You and Bakugo were a special case. When it comes to relationships, it's safe to say that you two have the worst relationship out of anyone in this class. Combining that factor with you being quirkless, pitting you up against All Might would be the only way for you two to work together. I had considered fighting you two myself, but All Might insisted on taking care of you himself. Comparing your test to the test of your fellow classmates, your test was the hardest and the easiest. Had you two worked together and used a little bit of coordination, one of you probably would have made it through the gate." Aizawa let the two absorb the information before continuing. "Anything else?"

There definitely was something else! Izuku wanted to complain about every single mechanic the test had. His uncooperative teammate, the impossible wall of an enemy, and the impossible goal. Every part of him wanted to stand up and call bullshit. But he settled for a more student-like response. "Nothing else. Thanks, Sensei."

The homeroom teacher took that as his cue to continue. "Moving on to other things, the summer training camp." Aizawa let the pause between his sentence stretch out to torture the failing students longer. "You're all going to the summer training camp!"

Four of the six failing students jumped for joy, screaming, "What a twist!"

"Thankfully, everyone cleared the written test," the teacher resumed. "Unfortunately, in the practical portion, we had six failures. Kaminari, Sato, Ashido, Sero, Midoriya, and Bakugo. As I partly explained earlier, as the villains in this test, we teachers came up with assignments that perfectly suited to all of you. One that would give you chances to devise winning strategies. If we hadn't, none of you would have stood a chance."

"So when you said the failing students wouldn't be able to go to the training camp…" Izuku started.

"That was just to push you. We are talking about a training camp after all. More than anyone else, those who failed are in dire need of this."

"Lied and tricked twice, Sensei," Izuku sarcastically spoke. "I don't know if I can trust you anymore."

"It wasn't entirely a lie," Aizawa quickly retorted. "Failure is still failure. You six will receive special supplemental lessons. And to be honest, they'll be far worse than summer school. Anyway, I'll be handing out camp manuals. Take one and pass it back."

"An entire week of training camp," Iida stated while pushing up his glasses. "UA certainly doesn't hold back."

"Your right about that," Izuku claimed. "This packing list is huge."

"Oh, I know!" the energetic, invisible girl jumped in. "We're off tomorrow and tests are over, so how about we all go shopping together, Class A?"

The class all collectively agreed to show up, minus Katsuki and Todoroki.

Class A had arrived at the shopping mall, and everyone was saying all of the items they needed at once.

"Looks like we all need different stuff," Kirishima spoke. "Let's split up and meet back at a designated time!" The class then separated into mini groups and went their different ways, leaving only Izuku and Ochako.

"They all left in a hurry," the quirkless boy spoke. "What do you have to get?"

"I only took a quick glance at the list," the gravity girl responded. "But bug spray is at the top of it. Wanna get our stuff together?"

A smile spread on Izuku's face before he responded. "I'd love to, but I have to pick up some stuff for Mei first. I don't know how, but she found out about our class's little training camp. Because I'll be missing out on our testing sessions, I promised to pick some stuff up for her."

A pang of jealousy shot through Ochako's heart and appeared on her face, but she was quick to hide it. "That's fine. You can grab the stuff for Mei, I'll grab my bug spray, then we meet back over here."

"Sounds good." Content with the answer from the green-haired boy, the brunette happily skipped in the direction of the camping accessories section of the mall. Izuku turned and began making his way over to the hardware section of the mall. 'I love hanging out with Ochako, but there's something else on my mind right now.'

And Izuku was talking about none other than his friendly, neighborhood head voice. His buddy had gone radio silent ever since his battle with All Might. It was something that worried him because the voice had never gone an hour without making his presence known.

'Hello?' Izuku waited a couple of seconds before attempting again. 'Hellooooo?' Nothing. Absolute silence and isolation. Izuku hated to admit it, but he had grown quite used to the voice in his head. After going ten years with no friends, it was pretty refreshing talking to someone who understood him, despite the voice coming from his own head. The lonely boy just sighed to himself and kept walking. His walk was interrupted, however, when an arm slung itself around his neck and over his right shoulder.

"You're the quirkless kid who interned with Endeavor, right?" the lanky stranger asked. "Then, during that internship, you had a run-in with the Hero Killer!"

"Geez," Izuku responded to the creep. "You sure know a lot about me."

"Of course I do." The creep pulled back his hood just enough for Izuku to see his face. The green-haired boy's eyes widened in fear as he met eyes with Tomura Shigaraki. "You are THE quirkless wonder." Shigaraki's right arm made its way upward and his hand wrapped around the shorter boy's neck. "You can't deny my little offer this time, Izuku Midoriya."

"Like hell." Izuku moved his hand to grab Shigaraki's, but was stopped when the pale boy tightened his grip.

"Ah, ah, ah. Let's not do anything hasty. I know you remember my quirk, so think twice before raising that arm." The green-haired boy seemed to contemplate something before letting out a sigh and lowering his arm. "Much better. You and I are going to walk out of this store together. All you have to do is act natural and not attract attention. Got it?" The shorter boy weakly nodded in response. "Let's get a move on then, pal."

'That's weird,' Ochako thought to herself. 'Izuku was supposed to meet me here after picking up the stuff for Mei. I may not know how much it's supposed to be, but it shouldn't take this long.' The brunette stood still for a couple of seconds before losing patience. 'I'll just meet him at the store. I'm sure he won't mind.' After checking every possible spot in the hardware section, she found out the quirkless boy was nowhere to be found. 'Now this is even weirder. I'll just text him instead.' While pulling out her phone, Ochako caught the familiar mop of green hair heading towards the entrance of the store. 'There he is!'

As Ochako made her way over to the boy and followed him out of the store, she slowly came to realize something was wrong. One, he wasn't alone. Two, the person with him had a very tight arm around Izuku. Time to intervene. "Izuku, where are you going?!" the brunette shouted.

Shigaraki stopped walking, causing the green-haired boy to stop as well. 'No, no, no!' Izuku was thinking. 'The last thing I want to do is put Ochako in danger.' He glanced upwards to meet the villain's eyes and was met with a face that said, 'Get rid of her.' Izuku gulped and turned to face Ochako.

"Hey there, Ochako. What are you doing here?"

The girl put her hands on her hip in a sassy, suspecting way. "I could ask you the same thing, ya' know? I don't know why you decided to just leave without telling anyone, but I'm assuming it has something to do with your 'friend' here."

'Damn it! She chooses now of all times to notice my plain-looking appearance!' The hand around his throat somehow got tighter. He cleared his throat and continued. "Nothing wrong here, Ochako. Just catching up with…an old friend."

"I…" the brunette paused to think about what she wanted to say next. "I don't believe you." She put up her hands in a fighting stance and gained a serious face. "Let go of him right now."

Izuku opened his mouth to say something, but was stopped when Shigaraki strengthened his grip yet again. "I'd stay back if I were you. I'm not in a good mood, and if my other finger touches his neck, your precious little boyfriend here dies." That caused Ochako to flinch and slightly lower her arms. "So here's what's going to happen next. I'll take the little quirkless wonder with me and you do whatever the hell you want. No matter how many police or heroes show up, we'll be long gone and untraceable." After the villain finished his sentence, a portal opened up behind the two boys. "Right on time."

As the two backed into the portal, Izuku could only mutter something as best as he could to Ochako.

"My…mother."
