June 24
The day of the wedding is almost here. I can hardly contain my excitement these days. It's all I can talk about, I'm sure I'm annoying everyone. Everything is in place and now the day just has to arrive.
Inuyasha and I went to Momo's to pick up our wedding clothes and they turned out absolutely amazing. I can't wait to put mine on and I can't wait to see him in his.
We took them home and were hanging them up in the closet. Then I felt Inuyasha's arms around me and his lips pressed against my neck. I eagerly leaned into him and sighed blissfully. This man is so incredible. I don't know how I ever got lucky enough to be able to marry someone so wonderful.
"It's hard to believe you'll be my wife in a couple of days," he said as he held me.
"I know. I can hardly wait anymore," I replied.
"I can't wait to see you in your wedding dress," he said. Then he leaned close to my ear and whispered, "I also can't wait to take it off you."
Shivers ran down my spine at the thought. The honeymoon had been on my mind a lot as well. I was more than ready for him to rip the dress off me and love me as hard as he could.
Also, this afternoon, Sango, Rin, Shippo, and I put up all the decorations we made at the shrine. From the entrance all the way to the altar, we made everything look so beautiful. I could just picture all of our friends sitting here and myself walking down the aisle to meet Inuyasha at the end of it and pledge our love to each other forever.
Now that all of the decorations are up and the plans have been made, everything just seems so real now. For the millionth time, I've wondered how did my life change so quickly and become everything that I wanted it to be. I'm so ready for this.
When I stepped out of the well for the first time three years ago, I never would have imagined the cute dog boy that I found stuck to that tree would one day be my husband but it was always him. I came through the well that day for a reason and I came through the well again a few weeks ago because we were meant to be together. I'm more than ready to spend the rest of my life with him. These next two days won't go by fast enough.
