Back with the next chapter! Last one was very exhilarating and exciting as it showcased an epic fight between Frieza and Cooler. It was heart stopping for a brief moment. But he won the fight and later under these crazy circumstances, their daughter finally arrived. This chapter will highlight their times as new parents. Enjoy :)

In the following weeks since Icera's birth, both parents were over the moon with their bundle of joy. She was surprisingly a very easy baby. She hardly if ever cried and was always smiling. When they thought they would have restless nights filled with their daughter's cries, it was in fact the opposite. Majority of the times they had to wake her every couple hours during the night to feed her. They firmly believed if they didn't wake her, she'd sleep soundly through the night. Frieza put a hold on his training and sparring to be a full time Dad and help Waverly whenever she needed it. Because of this she never felt overwhelmed with the number of responsibilities that came with having a baby. While they were in the hospital shortly after the birth, Bulma informed Waverly she called her family and told them of the exciting news. Of course she left out the part where she was kidnapped and their was a huge battle. They kept Mother and Daughter overnight for observation to make sure they were doing fine. By the next morning Dave, Jane, and Holly came to the hospital and saw the new baby for the very first time. Unfortunately the twins and Seth couldn't make it, due to their hectic job schedules at the time. Waverly was able to face time them later that day though when she was discharged from the hospital to tell them her daughter arrived the previous day. Her Aunt, Uncle, and Grandma gushed over the newest addition to the family. Her Grandma handed a gift bag to the new parents. Waverly bit her lip to hold back the tears when she pulled the gift out of the bag. It was a beautiful small multicolored quilt her Grandmother had made for the baby herself. Knitting and quilting was a big hobby for Holly that she did in her spare time. When she learned of her granddaughter's pregnancy, she went to work on making the quilt. The squares had all different colors and every other square had a small different pattern in it. Some had stars, while others had flowers, the rest had flying birds and other little animals stitched into some of the individual squares. It was something she put a lot of time, effort, and love in to it. It was Waverly's favorite gift she had received for her child because it was handmade from someone she deeply cared for. Frieza and Waverly thanked her for the thoughtful gift and Waverly wasted no time in wrapping the beautiful blanket around Icera. The baby enjoyed the softness and extra warmth that came from the quilt. More of their friends came to visit and see the new baby as well. Videl, Gohan, ChiChi, and Goten came too. Icera didn't mind all the new strange faces, if anything she loved the attention she was getting. Once they were finally back home in their apartment getting settled Waverly's family followed them back to help out the new parents. Waverly chatted more with her Aunt and Grandma while nursing her daughter. Frieza pulled Dave aside and asked the older man for advice and what to expect while raising their daughter. "You raised two lovely daughters, you have any input that you can share. Anything will be quite helpful," asked Frieza. Dave chuckles slightly and shrugs, "Nothing to it really. When it comes to little girls; just be prepared for anything and everything. Especially when they hit early adolescence. Mikayla came in with a training bra on at age eleven and said her boobs were starting to come in. I thought I was going to die when I heard that. But they're also very cute and funny with their antics and sassiness too. They will always do and say things to make you laugh your ass off. I can't tell you how many times Mikayla and Waverly got into things that had both my Wife and Myself laughing to tears. My advice is...be there for her, pick her up when she falls, give her the encouragement and strength to keep trying at things that may prove challenging in life. There maybe times you question yourself if your doing right by them and steering them in the right direction. Don't harp on those feelings. Just go with the flow. You will find it will come more naturally to you than you think. I have no doubts that You and Waverly will do just fine."

Frieza felt a huge sense of relief at the advice that was given to him. He entered the living room not long after Waverly finished nursing the infant. He sat down beside her as she was rubbing Icera's back getting her to burp. Waverly smiled and handed Icera to Frieza and told him to try. He was hesitant at first to pat the small infant's back, thinking he might do it too hard and hurt her. But Waverly gave him some encouragement and told him not to be nervous. He followed her instructions and after a few moments Icera let out a very long vocal burp. He found it amusing, not believing such a small being could make such a loud noise like that. He then pulled her off his shoulder in favor of cradling her instead. The baby girl made eye contact with him and smiled as he felt another rumble and vibration on his arm lower down where her bottom was. Then a smell attacked his sense and his eyes widened and he looked up in horror. The three women busted out laughing at the look on his face. Even Dave started chuckling knowing quite well what just happened. He tried giving the baby back to Waverly. But she smirked, shook her head, and directed him to the nursery. She had him put Icera on the changing table and instructed the reluctant former emperor on the wonders of diaper changing. Waverly had to bite back a laugh as he held the soiled diaper out as far as possible away from him. As if it were toxic waste. He then put Icera in a fresh one, dressed her, swaddled her back into the quilt Waverly's Grandma made for the infant, and carried her back out to the living room. "How'd it go? Your still conscious which is good. The first time I changed one of the twin's diapers, the smell was so bad I thought I'd pass out." Teased Dave. Frieza smiled while shaking his head. Waverly went back to the couch to chat with her Aunt and Grandma. While Frieza still held Icera and stood beside Dave, striking up more conversations with him. Icera was continued being a very easy going baby. She was also a very smart one too. By three months she was lifting her head by herself. At four and a half months she was rolling over with no problems. By six months she started crawling. At nine and a half months she took her first steps and started walking. Around ten and a half months she uttered 'Mama' and 'Dada' for the first time. Luckily these months remained peaceful without any new threats. Though this didn't stop anyone from training every chance they got. The only threat they had to worry about is when Lord Beerus and Whis came by for another annual visit to earth around the time Icera was six months old. Lord Beerus leaned in to inspect the newest addition in Frieza's arms. The infant then reached up and grabbed ahold of one of Beerus's ears. She had a very tight grip on it and wasn't letting go. The destroyer was flailing about and trying to pull back, while asking Whis for help. But instead of helping, the attendant just stood off to the side laughing his ass off at the scene before him. Luckily Icera was very ticklish, so her Daddy began tickling her under her arms and around her sides. The giggling tot then finally relinquished her tight grip on Beerus's ear. The nervous parents apologized several times, thinking that the incident would send the angry destroyer on a global destructive spree. Instead he was rubbing his sore ear mumbling something that sounded like, "Powerful Little Tyke." Goku, who was there and also witnessed the hilarious scene busted out laughing too. From then on when he went to Beerus'd World to train, every now and then he would poke fun at the destroyer. Once in the middle of training, Goku looked over Lord Beerus's shoulder and said, "Hey look Frieza is here with Icera!" The panicked destroyer grabbed his ears in protection, looking around wide eyed shouting, "Where!?" Only for him to turn back to a now laughing Goku. Lord Beerus didn't find this amusing at all. He chased Goku into the nearby woods where every few seconds you would hear and see tiny explosions. This would be followed by more angry shouts from the destroyer and a round of panicked yells from Goku. Vegeta would shake his head while mumbling, "Idiot," before resuming training with Whis.

By the time Icera was a year and a half her vocabulary expanded and she was just about potty trained. Frieza was elated when she finally got it down and that meant no more dirty diapers. It's crazy how quickly the year passed by. It seemed like only yesterday Icera was born. Now here they are celebrating her first birthday. By now Icera's long white/gray hair was brushing the top of her chest. Waverly had to pull it back as the tot leaned in to blow out the '#1' candle on the birthday cake. It was a fun party for her, especially when Pan, Bulla, and the other kids came. She had a blast playing with them and opening her many presents. As Frieza and Waverly watched the happy tot opening her last present they can't help but feel this last year went too fast. They could only hope the years don't continue to fly by. They were having so much fun with Icera still being little and weren't ready to wake up one day and see her no longer a child, but a young woman. But Dave and Jane told them not to harp on it and just keep thinking about here and now. They still had a long ways away from Icera hitting her adolescent years. If there was one thing Waverly was right about since day one is that this little girl definitely had her Daddy wrapped around her little finger. There was hardly anything he never did for their child. Though that didn't mean he let her get away with things she shouldn't. He still was very stern with her if she ever acted out, Waverly too. They considered themselves lucky so far that Icera was still a rather laid back child and rarely did she ever act out. The child also never cease on making her parents laugh. She was a very imaginative little girl with some of the most outrageous stories to tell her Mommy and Daddy. Once she awoke from a nightmare and ran to her parents room with some tears in her eyes. They held her and rubbed her back and asked her what was wrong. She told them there was a mean monster that lived in her closet and he was trying to eat her. But when the monster got close to her she told him to get lost before she called her Daddy in to kick his ass. She told the story with such a stern look on her face in the end. They didn't know whether to be shocked, angered, or find it funny with her choice of words. Instead Frieza and Waverly busted out laughing at the phrase and realized they really do need to be more careful with what they say around each other. Because at this age kids really do repeat just about everything they hear their parents say. When they calmed down from their laughing fit, they told her not to worry and that she could stay with them for the night. Icera fell asleep between her Mommy and Daddy. Both parents were still awake with small smiles on their faces. "You really need to sensor yourself a little more around her, Darling. We both know she didn't pick up the phrase, 'kick his ass' from me." He teased his Wife. She rolls her eyes and grumbles, "She wasn't even in the same room as me when I said that to you during sparring." He just chuckles, "Apparently that still didn't stop her from hearing it. Plus, you kind of did 'shout' it rather loudly at me." Waverly smirked, "Yeah, yeah, yeah. I still beat you, regardless." He smirked and wrapped his arms around both his girls and pulled them in closer to him.

Hope everyone enjoyed this cute little fluffy chapter. It's clear Icera is going to be quite the little firecracker as she gets older. Until Next Time ;)
