Okay…. So I wasn't able to keep to what I said in my last A/N, guess I'm no Elijah, huh? (lol)

Sabrina tried her best to get to the history class before the students to run over some last minute things with Alaric. Walking in she saw the seats beginning to fill up but there was not Alaric in sight. Dropping her bag down, she took a seat at a desk, front row, close to the door and pulled out the relevant papers to evaluate the lesson.
All the students were almost in their seats as Alaric finally walked in.
"Hello, class." He walked to the front and picked up a book on his desk and flicked through it. "What are we learning today?"
With the decade dance tonight, we've been covering the sixties all week," a girl in the row behind Sabrina spoke. "See Miss Hayden, some of us do pay attention," she said looking in Sabrina's direction.
"Thank you Dana," Sabrina let out a light chuckle as she turned in her chair. "I least I know how that my research isn't all for nothing. Now let's see if Alaric is up for teaching it." Her attention back at the teacher.
"Right. The sixties," Alaric drifted off and staring ahead for a while before turning back to the blackboard. "The, uh, ahem..." He seemed to be struggling.
Writing '60s' with the chalk he turned back to face the class. "The sixties. I wish there was something good I could say about the sixties, but...Actually, they kind of sucked. Except for the Beatles, of course. They made it bearable. Uh, what else was there? The Cuban missile thing, the...we walked on the moon. There was Watergate."
"Watergate was the seventies, Ric." Elena corrected, "I-I mean, Mr. Saltzman."
"Right. It all kind of mushes together up here, the sixties, seventies. Thank you, Elena."
"Someone's gonna get a bad review," a voice from the sea of students called out causing the class to abrupt into laughter. Sabrina smiled and shook her head as she continued writing.

The bell rang to dismiss the class and like the previous observation by the time Sabrina finished packing most of the class had left. It was ideal actually, since she could do a mini post briefing. Gathering the papers, she walked up to Alaric who stood by his desk.
"Sorry about the mess up." He apologised as passed him the papers.
"No worries. We'll just pretend it never happened."
"Thanks...Sabrina." Taking the papers from her, hesitating for a moment before putting them on his desk. "So anything new with the whole Klaus situation?" he asked in a low voice with a smile as the remaining students walked out.
"What do you mean?"
"You haven't seen anything have you?" His demeanour was all off. From the pause before her name, his reaction to the papers and now the topic of Klaus in school.
"Uh, no. Nothing yet," she answered honestly. Her intuition was bugging her. "Ric, why don't we go to the Grill for some drinks after your classes? Like an unofficial review meeting, It'll save us from having to actually schedule one at the town hall."
"I don't think I can Sabrina, too many papers to grade." The hesitation was back. But that's not was rose her suspicions.
"Completely understand Ric. Maybe another time." She smiled walking out.
She continued walking through the corridors of the high school. Something was wrong with Alaric.

Sabrina finished dropping papers off at the History department. While there she scheduled meeting with the other teachers and was on her way out.
"Sabrina!" Her name was called out as she passed the cafeteria. She saw Elena, Bonnie and Jeremy get up as she walked across to meet them in the middle. "Miss Hayden." The name was quickly corrected.
"You don't have to call me that, it's a formality. I'm not your teacher." she told them.
"Klaus is here."
"What?"
"He compelled Dana and he's gonna be at the dance." Bonnie finished for Elena.
"We have to do something." Elena looked anxious, they all did.
Sabrina looked at the three teenagers, before looking around the cafeteria. "He won't do anything here, there are too many people. Which also means we can't do anything."
From the corner of her eye she saw Alaric walking in the corridor, he was looking in their direction before he turned the corner.

Stefan, Damon, Bonnie, Sabrina and Elena stood in the living room of the Salvatore Boarding House.
"So we go to the dance, we find him." Was Damon's plan of action.
"Really? How are we going to do that?" Stefan pointed out the flaw. "We don't even know what he looks like."
"Something tells me he's not going to be sixteen and pimply."
"He could be anywhere at any time. He compelled somebody at school." Stefan looked at Elena. "I guess it's not as safe as you guys thought, huh?"
They all turned to the door as a knock was heard, quickly followed by Alaric walking in to join them.
"There you are." Damon sounded a little annoyed.
"Sorry I'm late."
"Hey, I need you to put Sabrina and I down as a chaperone at the dance tonight. Klaus made his first move."
Okay, so we find him and then what, hmm?" Elena gestured to the group. "What's our plan of attack?"
"Me. I'm the plan." Elena wasn't expecting to hear that from Bonnie. "He has no idea how much power I can channel. If you can find him, I can kill him."
"That's not going to be that easy. I mean, he is the biggest, baddest vampire around."
"Alaric has a point. I mean, what if he-" Damon was cut off as Bonnie sent him flying across the room with her powers.
Sabrina let out a small smile. "Well, I was impressed." Stefan said looking as brother as he attempted to get up.
"I second that," added Sabrina
"It doesn't matter if he's an Original. I can take down anyone who comes at me. I can kill him, Elena. I know I can."
The bad feeling was back as her smile fell.
"What's with the look Brina?" Damon was now on his feet.
"What?"
"That's your somethings gonna go bad look." Elena wasn't on board with this plan and they all knew she was looking for any reason so not agree to it.
"It's nothing"
"It's rarely nothing" Elena argued. "You have a feeling."
"Elena, there is nothing to say this won't work," he tried to reassure. "if I knew for certain I would say something but, I saw nothing that would suggest otherwise."
"So our plan stays the same we find Klaus," Stefan stated.
"Wait a minute." A light bulb went off in Damon's head as he turned to Sabrina. "Sabrina you know what he looks like. Forget the whole no one has ever laid eyes on his crap."
Sabrina looked around the room. "Don't ask me to describe him to you because I can't. The image is in my head but it's like a dream and I don't know how to vocalise it."
"That doesn't matter. Any advantage is useful for us." Stefan told her. "If he's there you can point him out."

The 60s decade dance took place in the school hall, it was filled with teenagers dressed in period appropriate clothing, dancing to the upbeat music.
Sabrina was wearing the same clothes she had on from the morning. Standing by the drinks station, with a cup in her hand she watched as Dana made her way onto the main stage, the music stopped allowing her to speak into the microphone.
"Thanks for being here, everybody. We have a special shout-out tonight. This is for Elena. From Klaus." Stepping off the stage the dedication started playing.
Sabrina's eye caught the rest of her friends gathered at the front of the stage. Holding onto her drink she walked over to them.
"There you are," Damon acknowledged as Sabrina came up beside him. "That was a lame, cheap shot. He's just trying to bait us."
"I know everyone here." Elena said looking around the room.
"Maybe he's not here. Just wants us to believe that he is," suggested Stefan.
"It's a party, people. Blend. Let him come to us."
"Good idea." Bonnie agreed with Damon as she grabbed Jeremy's arm.
"No, no, I really don't feel like dancing."
"Too bad." She led him onto the dance floor.
"There's Ric. Come on." He nudged Sabrina as he walked away.
"Special dedication, huh? This guy's a little twisted," Alaric said with a slight smile as the pair came to halt as they stood next to him.
"I'm not impressed," Damon replied.
Alaric looked a little disappointed. "No?"
Damon turned to Sabrina who had an indifferent look on her face.
"What's with the look?"
"Not really a fan of the 60s," she replied drinking from her cup. It wasn't alcohol and it wasn't coffee so she was in an irritable mood.
"Would you prefer high tea in the 1800s with Elijah?" he teased.
"Shut up, Damon."
"Sorry." He held his hands out apologising. "Didn't realise it would take this long," half telling her as well as himself.
Sabrina made it clear that she could get over what Damon did, it didn't mean she could get over him.
"Let me know if you see anything out of whack," Damon said moving off from the topic as he walked away from the two.
"Alaric?"
"Zdravei, Katerina."
"Klaus"
"Don't forget you're on the outs with your girlfriend Jenna."
"Bonnie the best friend? I thought you said she didn't have her powers anymore."
"Please, just kill me, Klaus, and be done with it."
"Crossbows, wooden bullets and automatics? Who is this guy, again?"
"You can't beat her you know," Sabrina began when Damon was far enough. "She has the power to take you."
A smile crept over Alaric's face as Sabrina attentively looked at him.
"What gave me away?"
"Well, your teaching sucked, you let me call you Ric and oh, that thing that happens every now and then that lets me see things."
"You're not going to tell them." His tone and glare told her he was trying to compel her.
"I can't be compelled," she said sweetly.
"Well aren't you special." Sabrina smiled at the sarcastic tone.
"Well if I can't compel you, I can compel the people around you," he continued as he took hold of her wrist.
"Let go of me."
"Shall we dance." He dragged her into the crowed.
