Act 29: I miss you

The effects of a long night's sleep were beneficial for the explosive boy, who had spent two weeks accumulated without a long and placid sleep, more than a few hours, or small rounds of sleep where he barely slept two hours in a row without costing him much working on getting to sleep.

The sudden disappearance of his boyfriend overwhelmed him so much that not even coherent thinking was possible, more than a mere possibility, or a vain attempt to spin the words in his head.

Katsuki Bakugou was disoriented by not having his boyfriend by his side.

And while he carried the heavy burden of living without his boyfriend between his shoulders, he prepared to write letters to him, because it had become his specialty. Writing letters had become part of his life, a mere habit that was difficult to give up, and besides the redundancy, it wasn't a bad habit for health. It helped him put his ideas in order, simply by putting them down on paper.

One of his letters said:

Where have you been?

What has become of you these days when I haven't seen you, not even had you with me?

The anguish eats me alive not knowing about you, because the only thing I have wanted is to have your love; have you and never leave you.

I see the flowers in my mother's garden and I think that some of them are you.

I see the faint moonlight pass through my window at night and I think that among the great luminescence, there is your charm, your true essence, the one that I am always struggling to see with my own eyes.

I see in my dreams, the vestiges of your vast immensity and the ethereal charm of your effervescence intertwine with my arms.

And you know, Izuku?

Your absence has led me to understand that nothing is worth when I don't hold your hand between mine and when you don't hug me the way you do and you transmit all your energy and warmth to me.

I miss you so much that everything becomes unstable in this fucking world, because even the most beautiful things perish if your smile is not present.

P.S. I love you Izuku.

Katsuki closed the letter paper in perfect symmetry and put it in an envelope that he sensed wouldn't open soon.

Act 30: Search

When he woke up, an indescribable horror gripped his chest, awakening anguish inside him by opening his eyes, shaking his hand, and not seeing Deku by his side.

He began to recap the events of the previous night, in case it wasn't a bad taste dream, but the smell of his sheets, the sweet smell of mint and forest betrayed that Deku, in fact slept next to him all night only he hadn't dawned with this one.

Where the hell was the nerd?

Katsuki instead of stopping to think like the thinking being he considered himself, rushed down the stairs, heading wildly into the kitchen, bumping into his mother, who held him back from setting up a scene in the house.

"Where the hell is the damn nerd?!" He snorted from the bridge of his nose.

"Calm down, Katsuki!" His mother hit him on the head with the wooden spoon. "Don't make a fuss over here at the house, so sit down for breakfast!"

"Hey!" He yelled offended.

"Stupid son, calm your damn instincts" His mother scolded severely. "Izuku went out for something important, he said that in the afternoon he will come to see you"

Katsuki gritted his teeth, shaking his jaw from side to side, while his red eyes were injected with fiery blood.

It made his skin swell to go looking for him and precisely, that's what he would do right then.

"Where do you think you are going, Katsuki?" His mother demanded to know, because Katsuki turned around and launched himself as if he were being struck by lightning through the door, leaving through the entrance of his house, with everything and the sun the morning receiving it with injurious heat.

And so without having breakfast, he began his impertinent career to look for the nerd, first going to the places that Deku frequently went, discarding each one as he traveled completely and began another run to the next place.

He carried that rhythm at least all morning.

He called him every so often, without getting a response from his boyfriend. He growled and snarled every time voicemail appeared on the phone. He didn't want to blast his cell phone and incidentally, explode his boyfriend's face as soon as he saw him.

The damn big heads for sure were doing something stupid, not to say nerdy stuff.

He ventured more than five hours looking for him everywhere, including went to his mother's house, who didn't know the whereabouts of his boyfriend, and taking advantage of his visit, he made her concern for his son known, telling him that since his stay ended at the UA he has been absent from contact and also commented that she sensed that the only one who knew of the nerd's whereabouts was none other than his mentor.

He should have known it from the beginning.

Fuck! That damn nerd!

He went to look for All Might, only to hear that he didn't know where his boyfriend was, since he had only given him the stay in the residence of retired heroes and now, but he didn't interfere in anything else in Deku's life, since he considered himself to be of legal age and a successor ready for the hero's debut.

Disgusted with everyone for his ineptitude and little worth, Katsuki set off on the walk back home.

Hunger killed him, drained his energy, and his mind was blank.

Just when he had no more places to look for him, the bastard deigned to answer the call, after more than forty calls to his cell phone, the idiot answered him and to finish grinding, he answered curtly and seemed to be running.

If Deku was an idiot, but he let him be, because that's how he loved him, but sometimes his idiocy irritated him.

His idiocy maddened him, as at that moment when the very moron answered him sharply.

However, Katsuki ran to his house, because the bastard told him that this is where he would go. Who knows what kind of things Deku went to do, but whatever it was, he would find out as soon as he saw him.

Act 31: Proposal

As soon as he arrived at the front of his house, the green flash that characterized his boyfriend when he activated his quirk was about to reach him.

He saw him land gracefully, a few centimeters away from him, outlining his characteristic idiotic smile, which assured him that everything would be fine from the simple fact that they were together again.

Katsuki didn't admit it but was relieved to see him safe and sound, smiling at him like the freckled idiot he was.

"Where were you, Deku?!" He yelled pissed off, pulling himself into a threatening position, forcing the nerd to back away nervously.

"Kacchan" He muttered. "There-there's an explanation." He giggled.

That stupid laugh wasn't what he was looking to hear, but a sensible explanation of where the hell his boyfriend got into.

"Let's see, idiot, surprise me" He challenged him, twisting his mouth in a grimace of disgust.

"Well, I went to buy you something" He explained, making a nervous breakdown, shaking his hands with each other.

"Buy me something?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Yes!" He stated, turning the backpack to his side, rummaging through one of the compartments. "I was looking for it until I found it." He took something out of the backpack, something wrapped in a bag. Curiosity was on the verge of Katsuki, who was dying to know what was inside the paper bag, perfectly closed. Deku blushed and approached with some shyness in her movements. "This is for you." He handed over the bag, looking too shy for Katsuki to resist. Absorbed in his blush, it also colored his face.

With no other choice, he opened the bag aggressively and the air left him as soon as he saw the contents of the bag.

"D-Deku?!" He stared at him in amazement, returning his gaze to the inside of the bag, pulling out the contents with his hand. His heart was pounding wild, making it difficult to control his movements.

"I-I wanted to show you my feelings somehow" Deku explained, his voice crumbling with nerves. "That's why..." He took a step forward. "That's why I bought you that"

"But Deku, there was no need to do this for me" He replied, shaken, breathing heavily.

"Yes it is" He corrected, willingly. "You deserve all that and more, Kacchan"

"Oh, Deku" He growled, raising a hand to his face, holding back the tears that threatened to appear.

The damned Deku had presented him with a ring containing an All Might figurine. In itself, it was a ring that they had seen when they were children and that Katsuki had told Deku several times that he would like to have one, because they would look very well on his finger when he was a professional hero. Well, it was a childhood memory, of something that happened before his quirk emerged, that is, when they were friends.

"You're a damn stupid" He said with no intention of insulting him, trembling to hold back his tears. "Deku! You shouldn't have done it"

"Kacchan" He pronounced gently. "I bought rings for both of us; because I will make you a proposal with them"

"Proposal? Of what?" He looked at him questioningly, his eyes clear.

Deku positioned himself in front of him, taking the ring out of the bag that Katsuki was holding with a trembling hand, taking it with two fingers.

"Kacchan" He breathed. "I know you want us to live together, and while it's still very fast for me, I want you to wait a bit until… until I can support myself without needing to depend on others." In a fit of courage, he took it hand, giving it a small comforting squeeze. "With this ring, I promise to fulfill your wishes." He placed it on his ring finger. Katsuki was falling apart from the enormous feeling of happiness that was taking over his senses. "I propose to you to live together when the two of us have become professionals and that we achieve independence and stability, but until then, I will stay by your side, if you allow me"

"Of course I will" He snapped, his voice cracking.

"And even though there have been painful and sad moments in our relationship, there are also beautiful moments" He breathed tempered. "That's why I promise that these beautiful moments will continue to exist between us, I promise to take care of you and love you every day since we started dating; I promise to make you happy with everything in my hands" He swore determined. "What do you say, Kacchan? Will you let me do it?"

And still the stupid asked if he could do what he had wanted for three years?

Instead of answering, Katsuki threw himself into his arms, his breathing giving away his terrible desire to cry in front of him.

"Kacchan?" Deku breathed incredulously. "Did I say something I shouldn't have? Or you didn't like the ring?" He let out a worried sigh. "Oh no! Forgive me, Kacchan, if I was too strong with my confession, maybe you didn't like the ring, but I have the receipt"

"Shut up"

"No, seriously, I have the receipt" He assured quickly. "Maybe you think it's very childish that I was inspired by a memory from when we were children"

"Deku!" He shouted, interrupting him. "Shut your mouth at once!"

"Okay..." He agreed quietly.

He let a brief silence surround them above, as Katsuki hugged him, hearing the racing heartbeat emanating from Deku's chest, who at the same time was breathing in fear. Perhaps he didn't expected his reaction and so he panicked.

Deku was very easy to read.

"How can you think I will refuse, stupid bastard" He claimed, containing his voice not to come out too crowded with the sensations tickling the tip of his tongue. "If all I've ever wanted is for you to let me be by your side"

His arms wrapped him in a hug back, catching him.

Gentle arms that held him tightly, mint flavor aroma that purifies the troubles of life, heartbeats that jump fast above sadness, curly and greenish hair similar to the leaves of a tree, soft hands that touched to the soul, pink lips that can smile warmly, as they can kiss with the greatest longing, voice so gentle that guilt can penetrate, laughter so sweet that they become symphonies to heal the unprotected heart.

In that way, Katsuki felt at that moment.

"I accept your proposal, Deku" He said, yieldingly.

"Kacchan" He sighed in amazement.

"You're crazy if you think I would say no" He sputtered, his blush reaching to the tips of his ears and the nape of his neck. "When for me there is nobody better than you"

"Thank you." He pulled him to his chest, giving him protection. "I'll do my best"

I know that you always do your best, he thought, since we were kids you have always been like this, and to think that that has not changed at all in all these years.

Katsuki closed his eyes, content with the following:

They would be together from then on and he hoped to believe that forever.

Act 32: Together

"How far did you have to go to find this?" Katsuki asked Deku, showing him the ring from his ring finger. Looking resplendent in his hand, despite having All Might's big face on him.

"Ah" Deku laughed realization. "I went to every district in Tokyo, but they told me they didn't sell the All Might limited edition ring, and that where they probably sold it were in collectors' shops outside of Tokyo." He raised an eyebrow. "I think I went through Japan in search of the ring." He laughed mischievously.

"You didn't need to do all that, forest head." Katsuki nudged him in the ribs, blushing from the things the nerd had to go through to show his love.

They were both walking down a small stream that was located near Katsuki's house. They were holding hands, as far as Katsuki was concerned, the worst was over and the scare of having dawned without him was gone.

Now, he was immensely proud of having a ring to show off to his parents and friends, when the fear and embarrassment of telling them about his relationship with Deku was finally lifted.

The ring was the palpable evidence of their relationship, the clear and sustainable evidence that they were a couple and a couple very happy to be together.

"Yes it was" He insisted. "You've done so much for me, Kacchan, since we've been dating; At least, I wanted to show you in a physical way that my feelings for you are true." He laced his fingers, taking a blushing Katsuki by surprise, who watched him with open orbs.

"I understood, bastard" He said, agitated by Deku's words, which demonstrated his intentions towards him, and which, in the same way, made his interior vibrate.

Feeling loved was a blessing.

"Well" Deku sighed with a laugh. "When I made the proposal to you, I felt I was proposing to you"

"What?" He spat into the air, dumbfounded.

"I felt like I was proposing to you" Deku confessed with a blush on his cheeks. "The weather, the words, the crossed eyes, the hug, being with you ... all those things give an atmosphere of marriage" He rambled, placing his other hand under his chin. "Could it be a good omen?"

"Don't say those things, Deku" He stammered, thinking troubled..

"Why?" Deku asked, putting on that idiotic innocent expression that so many feelings unleashed inside him. The ineptitude of thinking, the stirrups of the eloquence of reasoning went overboard having that face in front of him. "Did I say something wrong?" He hesitated, opening his mouth slightly.

"No, Deku" He scolded, flushing with embarrassment at what he would say next.

"Ah, I know!" He put a finger to the air in grace. "I said something I shouldn't have, don't worry, Kacchan, I won't do anything you don't want to"

Katsuki stopped, raising a hand to his forehead, overwhelmed by everything that went through his head.

"Kacchan?" Deku glanced at him concerned.

"I don't ..." He breathed for encouragement. "I wouldn't have said no" He confessed in an embarrassed and trembling voice.

"Not to what?" He said, lost in the matter.

Why did Deku have to be so dense for everything? Katsuki shook his head in frustration, closing his eyes hard.

"I wouldn't have said no, asshole!" He yelled. "I don't mind marrying you at this age!"

"Ah!" Deku exclaimed surprised and overwhelmed.

"Now did you understand?!" He faced feeling his body burn and his face burn. "Or do you need more time to think about that big head you have, Deku?"

"Ah, no-no-no" He muttered quickly, reacting a little recklessly. "I'm fine"

"Are you sure you're okay?" Katsuki joked. "You better exploit that face of yours, you idiot! Because you're so fucking dense"

"No need" Deku assured, giggling nervously. "Really!" He screeched agitated.

"You are so annoying, Deku" He complained mockingly.

"I understand what you said" He clarified, recovering his usual countenance. "But" He stopped. "Don't you think it's too fast to get married? I mean, we are eighteen, we don't have a job, we are very young"

"I don't care" Katsuki huffed. "All that doesn't matter to me"

"How?" Deku exclaimed in shock.

"Marry or not marry, I don't care, Deku" He spoke, playing the important role. "With us being together, the rest can go to hell"

"B-but"

"But since your noisy ass isn't ready to take the plunge, I can wait" He assured, suddenly displaying his ring with great pride. "Also, I accepted your proposal, and this is proof that I am yours and you are mine"

"Well, yes" He agreed.

"And you're probably right when we say we're too young to get married, even though it's legal" Katsuki mentioned with certainty. "I'll settle for seeing you every day, or if work prevents us from seeing each other, at least call me or send me a message, what matters to me is talking to you every damn day"

"Of course" Deku assured smiling.

"To know if you don't neglect to go around making yourself the hero" He warned, looking at him fussy. "Then for going around getting into everything, you don't even eat"

"I agree" He agreed willingly. "I would also like to know if you are eating well and sleeping well"

"I always do that" He boasted uninhibited. "If I'm not a fucking nerd—

"You are amazing, Kacchan" He praised him with wide admiration, making him blush overwhelmed by the praise. "You have always been perfect"

"Damn nerd!" He growled exhausted. "You are also perfect"

"I'm not perfect" He corrected sadly. "That has always been you, Kacchan—"

"You are too!" He emphasized, nudging him in the ribs again. "You're fucking perfect in my eyes"

"Really?" He blinked in surprise.

"Didn't you read the letters from your secret admirer?" He joked sarcastically.

"I did read them" He replied.

"Then I assume you paid attention to the content of each letter" He added sarcastically.

"But, Kacchan, you are perfect to me!" He insisted, hugging him from behind, stopping his walk. "Very perfect for me" He whispered into his shoulder, shaking him.

Deku seemed to know how to move the floor to Katsuki in just one action. A simple action, such as hugging him from behind, was enough to stop the course of his thoughts, since they became diffuse in character and eloquence was transformed into effusiveness loaded with feelings ready to surface.

"Deku" Katsuki said in surrender. "You are perfect"

"I love you as you are" He snapped coherently, catching him in his grip.

"Me too"

And with that, Katsuki turned to meet his green eyes, which were glaring at him.

"I love you" He said in a thin voice. "I love you, Deku"

Deku smiled brightly and approached to kiss him, without releasing him from his arms, because Katsuki did not want to be anywhere else but with him. Always with him, from now and forever.
