"Hello, Sam and Addison. How may I help you today?" Violet begins our therapy session. "I remember you said you didn't want to see a therapist especially Violet" Sam reminds me. "Things have changed. My Ovarian Cancer prognosis has greatly impacted you. You will not confide in me" I explain. The therapy session is an unwanted but much needed breakthrough for him and me.
