4 months later – 38 weeks pregnant

We have been in Germany for 4 months and Gideon still isn't done with his deal. The home he has here is beautiful. Our home. There is a yard for the kids to play in and we all love it here but we know we have to go home eventually. I can't travel anytime before these babies are born though.

I am very heavily pregnant with Piper Rose and Penelope Ann. I can't wait to meet them and hold them in my arms.

Today, my husband is at work and I'm spending the day with my kids, touring Berlin, yet again. I find new stuff to check out every time we get out. Today we're checking out the Berlin wall memorial and it is amazing as well as sad.

As we're walking, I'm suddenly struck by a powerful contraction. "We have to go. It's time to meet these babies. Sawyer, can you help me?"

He nods and picks me up and we all walk back out to our hired SUVs. The nannies and Gibson head back to our house and Sawyer takes me to the hospital. I call Gideon.

"Cross."

"Baby, it's time. I'm headed to the hospital."

"I'm on my way. Hang in there. I love you."

"I love you too. Arggggh! See you soon." I hang up.

We finally arrive at the hospital and Sawyer gets me inside and the nurses take me to labor and delivery. Once I'm there, they help me into my gown and hook me up to their monitors. About that time, my husband comes storming in.

"Am I on time?" he asks.

I smile. "You're on time baby. Now give me your hand and a kiss."

He smiles at me and approaches me and kisses me sweetly and he takes my hand, just in time for another contraction.

2 hours later and the doctor comes in to check me. "These babies are ready to meet you."

They set up the room for their delivery and then I have to start pushing. 10 minutes later, Piper is laid on my chest and Gideon cuts the cord. Another 15 minutes and Penny is born and laid on my chest.

They take the babies to get checkups. "You did fantastic, baby. Thank you for this."

"Thank you for this too baby. We have definitely got to take a break from baby making. 8 kids is plenty for now."

"I can live with that. When the kids are 5 and over maybe we can revisit the idea."

"Sounds like a plan baby." He leans down and kisses me sweetly again. They bring the babies back and they hand me Piper while they hand Gideon Penny. I feed and burp them both and I signal for Gideon to sit next to me on the bed after he lays them both back in their tiny beds. He pulls the crib closer to the bed and climbs in beside me. "Hold me while I nap?"

"Of course baby." I lay my head on his chest and he rubs my back as I drift off to sleep.

The next day, they release us to go home to our kids. When we arrive, we introduce all the kids to their baby sisters. They are all smitten with their precious baby sisters.

4 weeks later

We're finally going home today. I miss the Greys and my Daddy. I'm ready to go home.

When we finally arrive at Sea Tac, we all get into our awaiting SUVs and head home. It is late so we put the kids to bed and drink some wine and talk for a little while.

We go to bed and please each other with our hands and mouths. We drift off to sleep, only waking up to tend to the babies.

2 Weeks later

It has been 6 weeks since the babies were born and I'm headed to the OB to get cleared and get an IUD. When we get there, we go through the same tests and eventually the doctor comes in and clears me and inserts my IUD.

When we're done, I get dressed and go to see my irresistible husband and have my way with him.

When I arrive at his floor, I go straight to his office and go in. "Mr. Cross, are you available?" I ask. I already know the answer.

"Always available for my amazing wife." He stands and approaches me.

"I have to go home to the kids baby."

When it is time for his meeting, we both get up and get dressed appropriately and I give my husband a sweet kiss as I get onto the elevator.

When I get home I spend the remainder of the day with the kids and Gideon joins us after work.

"Gideon?"

"I told Christian a while back that we could be friends and I told him I'd go to lunch with him when we got back from Germany. You think I should?"

"Yeah. I trust you so go ahead baby."

"Okay. I will call and let him know and it will probably be tomorrow."

"That's fine." I give him a sweet kiss.

"I love you."

"I love you too." I get up off of our blanket we have been sitting on in the meadow, watching our kids play.

I go inside and dial Christian's number.

"Grey."

"Hey, Christian. It's Ana. Are you still interested in lunch… as friends?"

"Yes, of course. Tomorrow work for you?"

"Yes. That works."

"Okay, is my office okay?"

I think about this for a minute. "Sure. I'll see you then."

"See you then."

I hang up and go feed Penny and Piper and put them back to bed and go find the rest of my huge family.

I love that my family is so big. I'd wished to have siblings when I was growing up but my Dad refused to date and my Mom was more interested in money than she even was of me so she wasn't about to give me siblings.

I find my family in the meadow having a picnic and I sit down with them.

We spend the rest of the day together until the kids are put to bed. Then we go to bed and devour each other until we need to get up with Piper and Penny.

The next day, my husband and I both go to work. We ride together.

We walk into CI together and he lets me off at my floor with a kiss. "I'll come see you later baby. I'm going to have lunch with Christian today. We will see how that goes."

"I have confidence that it will go fine baby but let me know yourself whenever you come back."

"I will. I love you."

"I love you too." He gives me one more sweet kiss and I step off of the elevator with Sawyer.

I spend my morning working on manuscripts and contracts. At lunch time, I get up and head out with Sawyer.

We make it to Grey House and they surprisingly let me go through without questioning me.

Whenever I get to the 20th floor, Andrea lets me go through and I walk straight into his office after knocking lightly so he knows I'm coming in.

I enter the office and he is standing close by and I approach him and get a hug and he gives me a kiss on the cheek.

"Nice to see you, Ana." I nod. He guides me over to the couch and I notice the food containers sitting on the coffee table. We both eat and share casual conversation.

"Christian, did you know about Elliot claiming to wanting to be with me. He called me a whore after I clearly rejected him. I haven't seen him but one time since. Grace asked me why we were being so awkward. I told her about the conversation."

He frowns. "I can't believe he said that. You're not a whore, Ana. You know that, right?"

I nod. "Yeah. I was shocked he said that. It's fine though. I forgive him."

"You're so forgiving, Ana."

I look at my watch, "I need to get back to work. This has been a decent friendly meal. Maybe we will do this again sometime."

He smiles. "I'd like that." He stands up and helps me up and gives me a quick hug and another kiss on the cheek. I turn to walk out the door.

"It's nice to see you again and I hope you're talking to your family again. You look much better than you did last time I was here."

"I have been seeing my family and it's helpful so thank you for your pep talk."

"Okay. I've got to go. Later."

I walk out of the office and I have Sawyer take me back to CI.

When I get there, I go straight to my husband's floor and into his office. I find him ensconced in paperwork. "Have a little time for me, Mr. Cross?"

He looks up at me and smiles. "Always. How did it go?"

"It was good and friend-like. I was impressed. I don't know that I want to make it a regular thing. I know that he will probably try to use our friendship to get more from me, but he will fail."

"that doesn't sound too bad." He stands up and walks toward me and wraps his arms around me and kisses me feverishly. He lifts me by my ass and carries me over to his desk and he rips my panties off singlehandedly and I hear him undoing his pants and I'm abruptly penetrated. I go back to work and I work on manuscripts the rest of the day until my husband stops by to get me so we can go home and spend time with our family.
