The next week Cassandra and Randy were planning it meet up in Chicago tomorrow night. Cassandra and John were talking on the phone before they went to sleep.

"Are you still telling Randy tomorrow?" John asked.

"Yeah." "I can't chicken out this time." "I need to tell him." "I just hope he's not to upset."

"He won't be upset."

"He might be, not that I can't have a baby but because I almost died and didn't tell him."

"It'll all be fine."

"I'd just hate to disappoint him."

"He might be a little disappointed that he'll never be an uncle but what he'll care about more is you."

"I even packed the sonogram to show him."

"You kept the sonogram?"

"Yeah." "I have to get some sleep."

"Ok." "I'll talk to you tomorrow." "Try not to stress."

"I'll try." "I love you."

"I love you too." "Bye."

"Bye."

The next night Cassandra was waiting for Randy. At around eight o' clock there was a knock at the door. She got up to get and it was Randy.

"Hi." She said.

"Hi." He went inside. They hugged. "So you told Kim about you and John before you told me huh?" He asked smiling.

"Did I forget to mention that?"

"Yeah."

"Whoops."

"I thought I was your favorite brother."

"You are, I just wasn't ready to tell you yet."

After a few hours Cassandra went to the bedroom to get the sonogram.

"Randy I have something to tell you." She said sitting back down next to him on the couch.

"Are you and John having problems?"

"John and I are great." "This is from 2014." She handed him the sonogram.

"This is a sonogram." He said surprised.

"Yeah."

"You and Spencer were going to have a baby?"

"Yeah." "Remember that trip Spencer and I had planned to come and see you and Kim that was cancelled?"

"Yeah."

"We cancelled because the week before we were supposed to come, I had a miscarriage."

"How far along were you?"

"Three months." "In order to save my life, they had to perform an emergency hysterectomy, I almost died."

"You almost died?"

"Yeah." "I didn't leave Spencer like I've always said." "He left me because I lost the baby." "He blamed me."

"Cassandra, why didn't you tell me any of this?"

"I didn't want to disappoint you."

"Why would you think you'd disappoint me?"

"Ever since Alanna was born and I became aunt Cassandra, we've always looked forward to the day you would become uncle Randy." "I couldn't tell you it was never gonna happen."

"I don't care about that." I'm just glad you're ok." "Why are you choosing to tell me now?"

"I plan on being with John for a very long time and I didn't want you blaming him when we didn't have kids."

"You should've told me."

"I know, I'm sorry." "Are you mad at me?"

"No." He hugged her. "I know how rough that must've been for you." "I'm sorry." "I love you."

"I love you too."
