Chapter 19

The Final Confrontation

General P.O.V.

Luna sighed as Lia landed in front of the entrance to the Dark Crater. Once Lia landed, Jolt and Luna got off and they looked at the entrance.

"So this is the entrance to the Dark Crater," Jolt said.

Lia nodded.

"Here we face Darkrai. There is no telling what he has in store for us" Lia replied. "We must proceed with the utmost care!"

Jolt and Luna nodded and followed her into the dungeon. They encountered Pokemon like Numel, Slugma and Ponyta. Eventually they found a clearing to take a rest. While Jolt looked over at their supplies, Lia gave a side glance to Luna.

You realize that this battle will reveal your identity to Jolt. Are you sure that you're ready for this?

Luna nodded slightly.

Yes. It's time that he knows the truth.

Lia narrowed her eyes in concern.

Are you sure?

Luna nodded.

Yes. I couldn't tell him when this started back then when I gave him the Relic Fragment. Now, I can finally be honest with him and with Grovyle. I've held back too much with them for far too long. It's time they both knew my story. All of it.

Lia nodded.

Very well. I will respect your decision.

Luna nodded and they looked at Jolt just as they finished looking through the bag. They proceeded deeper into the dungeon. They encountered Pokemon like Hippowdon, Flareon and Typhlosion. They eventually reached the end of the dungeon and ended up at a clearing with a pit of lava at the end of it. They saw an unconscious Eevee off to the side, but as they looked closer they noticed that he wasn't actually asleep. He was caught in a nightmare just like Azurill once was.

Luna narrowed her eyes at the Pokemon but otherwise didn't show any reaction on the outside. On the inside, she was happy to see her father alive but also worried about the state he was in due to Darkrai.

"It's a dead end," Jolt said, looking around. "This appears to be the deepest we can go, but where's Darkrai?"

The area darkened slightly, catching their attention.

"You've kept me waiting" Darkrai said, appearing in front of them.

Jolt was startled at the sudden appearance.

"Darkrai!" Jolt shouted, startled.

"Good of you to come, Jolt and Luna," Darkrai said.

Jolt's eyes narrowed.

"Why do you keep after us?!" Jolt shouted. "Y-you don't even know us!"

Darkrai scoffed.

"I know you all too well," Darkrai said. "You especially, Luna."

Luna narrowed her eyes as Jolt's eyes widened in shock.

"When you came to this world with Grovyle, Luna, you were caught up in an accident," Darkrai said.

Luna's eyes narrowed further.

"Yes, you and Grovyle had an accident while traveling through time" Darkrai said. "You became separated as a result of it. You were also transformed from a human into a Pokemon, and you lost your memory as well. Has it not occurred to you how odd that accident truly was?"

Luna put on a confused expression.

"Yes, think of how the accident occurred," Darkrai said, fooled by her expression. "Precisely when you and Grovyle were traveling through time. That fails to strike you as odd?"

Jolt narrowed his eyes as he felt the temperature was getting colder by the second.

"D-Darkrai...Darkrai, you know something about it?" Jolt asked.

Darkrai smirked.

"Naturally" Darkrai answered, smugly. "That very accident was caused by none other than myself."

The room got even colder as Jolt's eyes widened in shock.

"What did you say?!" Jolt shouted, shocked.

Darkrai smirked.

"My wish is to engulf this world in darkness" Darkrai said. "I set my sights on Dialga's Temporal Tower because of its tie to time. I sabotaged Temporal Tower. That would have eventually led to the destruction of time, and ultimately, the planet's paralysis."

Darkai's eyes narrowed.

"However, Grovyle and Luna decided to meddle," Darkrai said. "I learned of their impending arrival from the future, and I attacked Grovyle and Luna as they traveled in time so that I would be rid of them. But an unforeseen event made it impossible to be rid of either of them."

Jolt's eyes narrowed, noticing he never mentioned Glacia. He figured that she would at least be listed as one of the ones who meddled.

"It should have been enough, especially for Grovyle," Darkrai said. "However, I assumed Luna's limited powers weren't enough of a problem. I should have expected for her to keep the more defensive version of her powers accessible for emergencies."

Luna narrowed her eyes, sensing a dimensional hole about to open. She turned her head just as a dimensional hole appeared behind them. Darkrai, Cresselia and Jolt looked in the direction to see Grovyle, Seren, Autumn and Alexa appear from the dimensional hole as it closed behind them.

Grovyle sighed as he saw the scene and looked over at Seren.

"It looks like we made it in time," Grovyle said.

Seren nodded as Autumn and Alexa looked over at Darkrai with narrowed eyes. Grovyle narrowed his eyes at Darkrai before he looked over at Cresselia, Jolt and Luna. He noticed that Luna looked more serious than usual as she looked over at Darkrai.

"It's been a while, Jolt" Grovyle greeted, seeing Jolt's shocked expression.

Jolt nodded.

"What are you doing here, Grovyle?" Jolt asked.

Grovyle sighed.

"Dialga was informed about the events taking place here by his current self," Grovyle explained. "He sent a team out to help you out with Darkrai, considering he has a reputation for not playing fair. All of us volunteered to go. Though, Seren insisted that she had to be a part of the group, due to a promise she made to Glacia. Autumn and Alexa, however, said that they had the most right to be here to help. Which I still don't quite get why really."

Jolt nodded as Grovyle looked back at Darkrai, not noticing Luna's tail starting to glow white but Seren noticed.

"It's been a while, Darkrai" Grovyle said, darkly.

Darkrai smirked.

"I didn't expect you or your friends to join the party, Grovyle" Darkrai said. "Are you still mad about me hurting your partner?"

Grovyle glared.

"You knew that she would protect me if you attacked!" Grovyle growled. "You predicted that she would honor Glacia's promise to protect me."

Darkrai smirked.

"Perhaps" Darkrai said, smugly. "You always seemed to be her weak point. Both you and Jolt."

Then Darkrai narrowed his eyes.

"However, I did not anticipate her keeping a portion of her sealed power for protection," Darkrai said. "If I had known that, then I would've attacked her while she was unaware. She would've been so much easier to deal with then."

Jolt and Grovyle raised their eyebrows in confusion.

"What are you talking about?" Grovyle asked. "The only power Luna ever had was the Dimensional Scream."

Darkrai smirked.

"You mean you don't remember what happened that day?" Darkrai questioned. "Surely you noticed something strange when she jumped in front of you to protect you."

Grovyle narrowed his eyes, recalling when he saw the golden shield he saw appear in front of her and her eyes that glowed just like Glaica's did whenever she used her powers. Darkrai smirked, noticing the look.

"Grovyle?" Jolt asked, noticing the look.

Grovyle sighed.

"There's something I didn't tell you about that accident," Grovyle said. "When we were attacked and Luna jumped in front of me, something strange happened."

Jolt's eyes narrowed.

"Something strange?" Jolt asked.

Grovyle nodded.

"A golden shield appeared in front of us and blocked most of the attack" Grovyle replied. "There were also her eyes, which were glowing in the same color as the shield. I've only seen that happen once before."

Darkrai smirked. However, before he could speak any further, he was thrown into a wall from an attack from his side. Everyone looked to the side to see Luna there with the light from her tail fading with a cold look on her face. Grovyle and Jolt flinched at the look, recognizing that look meant that she was pissed.

"You always were one for dramatics, Darkrai" Luna said, coldly. "However, how about we just cut to the chase. I'm in no mood to deal with your petty games or to hear you bash my character to Grovyle and Jolt."

Darkrai's eyes widened in shock but then his eyes narrowed.

"I should've known," Darkrai said, darkly. "That shield wasn't only meant to protect Grovyle from the attack. It also protected your mind."

Luna's eyes narrowed as Grovyle and Jolt's eyes widened in shock, realizing what Darkrai did.

"Did you expect anything else, Darkrai?" Luna questioned, coldly. "I did not get where I am today just sitting around playing messenger. I had to take precautions with you and your plans."

Jolt took a shaky breath.

"So all this time…" Jolt said, trailing off.

"She never forgot anything," Grovyle said. "But how? And why didn't she say anything?"

Darkrai smirked.

"You knew I would be watching you to see if you remembered anything," Darkrai said. "You knew that I would target Jolt and Grovyle if you showed even the slightest hint of remembering everything."

Luna narrowed her eyes as Jolt and Grovyle eyes widened, realizing why she acted the way she did. Grovyle remembered seeing hints of regret and pain when he looked at her eyes while Jolt remembered the headaches she seemed to get when she came across someone from her past. Now he knew it was all an act.

"You really think that I would let you lay a hand on Grovyle and Jolt" Luna said coolly.

Darkrai smirked.

"They always did make you act rash, dear Luna" Darkrai said. "Your love for them has always been your greatest weakness, especially your love for Grovyle. Does he know about the secret you have kept from him all these years?"

Grovyle's eyes narrowed. What kind of secret did he mean?

"What he knows and what he doesn't is hardly any of your concern" Luna said, coolly. "What's important is stopping your ambitions here and now."

Darkrai smirked.

"So he truly doesn't know," Darkrai said. "How sad that someone of your power is scared of such a simple thing. That you feared how your dear Grovyle would react once he learned the truth about your family, and about yourself."

Grovyle noticed a flash of pain and regret enter her eyes.

"That's enough!" Alexa shouted. "You've tormented her enough when she was a child! What more do you want from her?!"

Darkrai's eyes narrowed.

"Ah, yes, dear Lexi" Darkrai said. "Always coming to her rescue, aren't you? I wonder why that is? It's not like she's family."

Alexa narrowed her eyes as Luna closed her eyes and began to emit a golden light, catching the attention of Grovyle, Jolt, Lia and Darkrai. The room began to feel colder and colder. When Luna opened her eyes, they were glowing with that same light and you could see that she was livid.

"I've had enough" Luna said, ice dripping from her words. "You can bash me all you want! You can make me feel like I'm worthless and that no one would love me!"

The light around her began to glow brighter as the birthmark on her forehead started to shine.

"But I draw the line when you start hurting Lexi or Autumn!" Luna shouted, fury etched deep in her words. "You don't hurt those close to my heart, and think that I'll let that slide!"

Darkrai growled and made to move forward but a golden barrier surrounded him and kept him contained. Grovyle's eyes widened in shock and realization.

"It couldn't be…" Grovyle said, trailing off.

She's always been close to you. You just didn't know it. Did you really think that she would leave you behind without doing something to help?

Grovyle looked over at Seren, Autumn and Alexa. When they nodded he knew that it was the truth.

"Glacia…" Grovyle said, softly.

Jolt's eyes widened in shock. He watched as Luna looked over at him and Grovyle briefly before she looked back at Darkrai.

"I will explain everything later" Luna stated calmly. "Right now, we have bigger things to worry about."

As she said this a group of Pokemon surrounded them. It was an Arbok, Magcargo, Aggron, Mismagius, Rhyperior and Magmortar. Luna narrowed her eyes at Darkrai.

"Ganging up on others is something you've always been good at," Luna stated. "Don't think that will help you this time. You'll be trapped in that time barrier until I allow you to be free."

Darkrai narrowed his eyes.

"It matters not to me," Darkrai said. "With your limited powers, you can't keep me here forever."

Luna scoffed at Darkrai before she glanced at Seren and gave her a nod, which caught Jolt and Grovyle's attention. Seren threw the silver Treasure Bag they knew belonged to her, and Luna caught it and put it on. Then she took two items out and threw one at Jolt and another at Grovyle. They caught them to see that it was a Grass Blade and a Zapper Scarf, an item meant for Grovyle and Pikachu lines respectively. They saw her take out a familiar scarf from her bag and put it back around her neck.

Luna looked over at Lia.

"Can you and everyone else take care of these guys?" Luna asked. "I need some time to break the seal."

Lia nodded.

"Sure thing, Luna," Lia said. "We'll take care of these guys. You just worry about unlocking your powers."

Luna nodded and rushed off as the others fought off the other Pokemon. Lia was paired off against the Arbok. Autumn and Alexa paired themselves off with the Aggron and Mismagius. That left Grovyle with the rest of them.

"What does she mean Lia?" Jolt asked, fighting off the Rhyperior with Grovyle. "What seal?"

Lia sighed, quickly finishing off her opponent before she met to help them out.

"I don't know the details about that, unfortunately" Lia answered. "The only ones who know the full story are Seren, Autumn, Alexa and Dialga. All I know is that she can't access her full powers."

"Then allow us to explain" Autumn said, her and Alexa coming towards them.

They looked back to see that Autumn and Alexa had finished off their opponents. They quickly defeated their opponents and looked over at Luna, who was glowing with a bright golden light as an intricate seal appeared below her feet.

"Using a time seal like she did at the Rainbow Stoneship required a great sacrifice," Autumn said. "She sealed away her Pokemon form, the one form she enjoyed the most and the one where she felt she was being true to herself."

Alexa sighed.

"However, that wasn't enough for the seal to completely take effect," Alexa said. "So she sealed away access to most of her powers as well. Most of her temporal powers were sealed away as well as her own strength she gained over the years."

Grovyle's eyes widened.

"So she was weakened as a result," Grovyle said.

Alexa nodded.

"Yes" Alexa answered. "That also put her at a greater risk of getting hurt by Darkrai if he attacked her."

Autumn nodded.

"She kept her telepathy and Dimensional Scream to help in her quest" Autumn replied. "She also kept a small portion of her temporal powers for emergency uses, like when Darkrai attacked you during your time travel. However, she wouldn't be able to access any other part of her power due to what she did."

Grovyle sighed.

"Then why does it seem like she'll be able to?" Grovyle asked.

Seren sighed.

"When she sealed her powers away, she left behind a key to be able to free them," Seren answered.

Jolt and Grovyle raised an eyebrow.

"A key?" Jolt asked.

Autumn, Alexa and Seren nodded.

"Yes, think of it like a puzzle" Seren replied. "In order to solve it, certain conditions must be met. The same thing applies here."

Alexa nodded.

"There were three conditions that she implemented into the seal when she activated it," Alexa explained. "The first was the state of the world. She could not unlock it while the planet's paralysis was still in motion. The second was the presence of a loved one, like a lover or one close to your heart. The final key was her scarf, a gift from an Articuno named Tundra a long time ago."

Grovyle's eyes narrowed in thought.

"Her scarf…" Grovyle said, trailing off.

Autumn nodded.

"That scarf is very special to her," Autumn replied. "Tundra gave it to her as a gift

A few months before she evolved. Tundra was the one who started the investigations into her father's disappearance, and they've been through so much together she decided to use the symbol of their friendship as the final key."

Seren nodded.

"Now that she has the final key, she can unlock the seal," Seren replied.

They all looked over at Luna, who had her eyes closed as the light around her began to shine brighter. The light became almost blinding when they saw a golden heart appear above her before it disappeared as Luna opened her eyes, her eyes glowing gold with a fire blazing through them similar to Jolt's. The look he got in his eye when he was determined. Then the light faded from Luna's body but everyone could feel the power emitting from her aura. She began to walk forward until she was standing in front of Jolt and Grovyle.

"Everyone, I would appreciate it if you let me fight Darkrai on my own," Luna said.

Jolt and Grovyle's eyes widened in shock.

"Why?" Jolt asked.

Grovyle was wondering the same thing, but figured that she had her reasons.

"This is something that I've been waiting for a long time, Jolt" Luna said. "As much as I appreciate the fact you want to help me, this is something I need to do on my own. I need to do this with my own power. No one else's. Do you understand?"

Jolt sighed, but nodded.

"Yes," Jolt said. "Just be careful."

Luna nodded and stepped over to where she held Darkrai and released her barrier.

"Shall we get started with this dance?" Luna asked.

Darkrai smirked.

"With pleasure" Darkrai said.

Then they charged each other. Jolt watched as her body glowed with a white light before hail began to fall around them. Realizing that she used Hail, he wondered what she would do next.

"You don't need to worry about her Jolt, she'll be alright" A familiar voice spoke up.

Autumn, Alexa, Jolt, Lia and Grovyle turned around and their eyes widened at the owner of the voice. Standing behind them with Mana was the one that Jolt knew as Glacia, the Luna from his time. She smiled at him before she looked over at Lia with a gentle smile.

"If she's anything like me, then she won't need any help" Glacia said.

Jolt recovered from his shock and looked over at the Altaria beside her that he knew must be her friend Mana she talked so much about. He then looked back over at her.

"It's been two years, Luna," Jolt said.

Glacia smiled softly before she sighed.

"I know, Jolt, but I had to stay away," Glacia said. "With my future self around you, Dialga thought that it was better if I kept my distance until the final battle with Darkrai."

Jolt nodded, seeing her point. Glacia then looked at Lia.

"Lia, could you use your powers to get my father over here while Darkrai's busy?" Glacia asked.

Lia nodded and her eyes glowed white. At the same time a white light surrounded the Eevee and lifted him up until he landed right in front of Glacia. She went over to him and laid her head down on his fur.

"I've found you, father," Glacia said, tears in her eyes. "I've found you, just like I promised."

Jolt smiled at the reunion before he looked over at Luna's battle to see that Darkrai was covered in injuries and Luna had a few as well, but they weren't as bad as Darkrai's were. Darkrai fired a Dark Pulse at her but she just dodged with ease and sent a Shadow Ball at him during her jump and made a direct hit. Jolt's eyes widened in shock at the power he could sense behind their attacks.

"Amazing…" Jolt said, in awe.

Grovyle nodded, agreeing with Jolt. Even he has never seen Glacia use this much power before.

"We rarely have a reason to use our full power," Glaica said, gaining their attention. "Legendary Pokemon won't use their full power due to how much destruction their power can cause, so they limit themselves on how much they use. Even I have rarely used my full power for this reason."

Mana nodded in agreement.

"That is true, Luna," Mana said. "No one has really seen you go all out. It takes a lot for you to be pushed to do that."

Glacia shook her head.

"It's not a matter of being pushed, Mana" Glacia corrected. "It's a matter of deciding whether it's worth the risk."

Mana nodded.

"Considering the circumstances, I would assume that this would qualify as well worth the risk of using your full powers" Mana said.

Glacia nodded, watching the battle in front of them.

"Yes, and you know what must be done," Glacia said, giving Mana a meaningful look.

Mana sighed and nodded.

"Yes, I do," Mana said. "I've always known from the day we met that it would come to this. It was just a matter of if you had the courage to go through with it, knowing the sacrifice that must be made."

Glacia nodded.

"I know, and so does she" Glacia said, motioning to her future self. "However, we made this decision with our hearts, and we agree that it must be done."

Mana sighed.

"If that is what you want" Mana said.

Glacia nodded.

"It is," Glacia said, looking back at the battle. "After so many years, I can finally be true to myself and follow my heart."

Mana nodded, then looked back at the battle. They noticed that most of Darkrai's attacks were missing. This confused Jolt and Grovyle since most of his attacks were pretty accurate moves. Alexa smirked as she noticed this.

"His attacks aren't inaccurate" Alexa spoke up getting their attention. "He just didn't count on Luna's own ability hindering him."

"Her ability?" Jolt asked.

Alexa nodded.

"Correct" Alexa answered. "Her ability is called Snow Cloak and it raises her evasion while Hail is in place and it allows her to dodge attacks much faster than she could without the hailstorm in effect."

Jolt's eyes widened in realization.

"That's why she used Hail in the beginning of the battle," Jolt said. "She wanted an edge over Darkrai's attacks."

Lia nodded.

"Yes, especially against his Dark Void," Lia said. "She needed to be able to dodge that attack the most, considering how bad that move is for other Pokemon. It puts the opponent to sleep and seeing how any Pokemon around Darkrai has nightmares, that would be a bad thing."

Jolt nodded and watched as Luna hit Darkrai with an Ice Beam and Darkrai gripped his arm in pain, clearly worn out. Luna then fired a Shadow Ball, sending him flying into a nearby wall. Darkrai fell to the ground, clearly beaten.

"Gaah! Gaaaaah!" Darkrai growled.

Lia sighed.

"She managed to beat him," Lia said.

Glacia narrowed her eyes and gave Mana a brief nod before running towards Luna with her eyes flaming in determination.

"This is the end for you, Darkrai!" Lia said.

Darkrai smirked.

"Really Lia, don't you remember what I said?" Darkrai questioned. "I said that you cannot catch me."

Darkrai's eyes began to shine with a blue light just as Glacia reached her future self. They both gave a nod to each other before they looked at Darkrai as a dimensional hole appeared a few feet behind them.

"A dimensional hole?!" Jolt shouted.

Darkrai managed to get up, laughing.

"This dimensional hole may take me to the future or the past" Darkrai said, smugly. "Even I don't know where it will lead me, but I've only failed in this time. I will simply plunge the world into darkness in another time."

Jolt narrowed his eyes.

"Stop, Darkrai!" Jolt shouted.

"You're not getting away!" Lia shouted.

Everyone but the Lunas and Mana chased after Darkrai. Mana gave them a nod and they took a deep breath before they both glowed with a golden light. When the light faded, they were both in their human form but looking slightly different than the last time they took this form.

They still had their blonde hair with ice highlights, but her hair was now in a braid that went down to her waist, and sea green eyes. She still had her choker and ice blue scarf around her neck, but the rest of her clothes were different. She wore a dark blue halter top with a sea green skirt with black shorts under the skirt and dark blue boots. She also wore light purple elbow length fingerless gloves.

They ran after the others with Mana right behind them. They saw Darkrai right in front of the dimensional hole.

Humph. Too bad for you" Darkrai said. "I can slip away through time with just one step. You cannot catch me."

"Oh…" Lia said, glaring.

"This is good-bye to you," Darkrai said.

Darkrai began to laugh.

"Well, how do you like that?!" Darkrai said, smugly. "Finally, in the end, it ends with my ultimate victory!"

Both Luna's eyes narrowed, sensing a familiar heading towards them and quickly closing on their location.

"I won't allow that!" A voice roared, shocking everyone.

"Wh-what?!" Darkrai said, caught off guard.

Suddenly the ground began to shake and Palkia appeared in front of them, shocking everyone but Mana and both Lunas. Mana gave them a nod and they took a deep breath before they connected their hands together and began to glow with a golden light. The only one who noticed was Seren and Palkia, but they said nothing.

"Y-y-you're…" Darkrai said, paling.

"P-P-Palkia!" Jolt shouted.

Grovyle's eyes widened, shocked that Palkia would show up.

"You will pay a grave price for expanding the distortion of space, Darkrai!" Palkia roared.

Palkia's orb began to glow.

"This is a strike for justice. Take this!" Palkia roared.

Palkia began powering up a beam from his mouth and Darkrai paled even further.

"What...Waaah!" Darkrai shouted.

As Darkrai began to flee through the dimensional hole, everyone noticed the golden beam of light that shot into the dimensional hole just as Palkia fired his attack into the hole right after.

They looked over towards the source and saw both Lunas in their human form, glowing with a golden light. They were holding each other's hands and seemed to be concentrating on something. There was sweat going down their foreheads, showing the effort it was taking them.

"What are they doing?!" Grovyle shouted.

As they were about to go over to them, Seren blocked their path.

"Seren, why did you stop us?" Alexa questioned.

"Yeah, that's our sister there!" Autumn said.

Seren sighed as Mana came to help her out.

"If you go over there, you'll only do more harm than good," Seren said. "This process can't be interrupted, no matter what happens."

Everyone's eyes widened in surprise.

"What process?" Grovyle questioned.

"The process of purifying the corruption over Darkrai" A voice answered, making them turn to the far wall.

Through the shadows of the wall, a form began to emerge until it revealed Giratina in his altered form.

"Giratina!" Everyone shouted.

Giratina nodded.

"The power to purify darkness is not an easy thing to do," Giratina said. "Normally, this power is only able to be used by a Legendary Pokemon like Lia or Dialga, due to its link to both time and light. If anyone else tried to do so, they would destroy their own body due to the strain of the power it requires to even use. Out of all the powers that Luna possess, that one is the most dangerous to herself."

Grovyle's eyes narrowed.

"Then why did you allow her to use it?" Grovyle questioned.

Giratina sighed, knowing he was only concerned. He saw the same look on everyone else but Seren and Mana, who already knew about it. Palkia wasn't too concerned, considering he was told about it when he visited Dialga.

"Normally, we wouldn't have let her use it, considering that she could die from it," Giratina said. "However, Arceus gave her a way to be able to use it only once before it would be a danger for her to use it again."

Grovyle's eyes widened as he put it together.

"Her human form!" Grovyle said.

Seren nodded.

"That would be correct, my dear Grovyle" Seren said, catching their attention.

"Seren?" Grovyle asked, confused as was everyone else but Mana.

Seren sighed.

"That human form gives her an alternate form to use so that she won't die from using it," Seren explained. "That is the only reason that we gave her permission to use this power. After this, if she uses it again, she will die. That is why this needs to be done right."

Mana nodded.

"Indeed, Seren," Mana said. "While the process is painful for both of them, it must be done if we are to rid Darkrai of the corruption that has befallen him for over fifty years."

Giratina sighed.

"How long have you known about Darkrai's corruption?" Giratina asked. "The only ones who knew about it were Tora, Dialga, Seren, Palkia, Arceus and myself. We never told anyone else about it."

Mana sighed.

"I saw it in a vision I had when I first met Luna" Mana answered. "My gift of prophecy let me see it and told me that Luna would be the one to free him and bring him back to the light."

Palkia finished his attack and saw dark streams of light come through the dimensional hole, catching everyone's attention. The light came towards both Lunas and became trapped in a time barrier. They heard screams coming from them both as the light surrounded them, and concealed them and the dark light faded into nothing.

"Are they alright?!" Grovyle asked, concerned.

Palkia sighed as he watched the dimensional hole shatter and then the light surrounding both Lunas faded, revealing them in their Pokemon form, unconscious.

"They will be alright," Palkia said, catching their attention. "They are merely exhausted from using so much power. This is not a power that was meant for a regular Pokemon to use. Let them rest."

Palkia then looked over at Giratina.

"Giratina, Karen and Elliot are waiting back in Treasure Town with Tundra, Topaz and Suicune," Palkia stated.

Giratina grimaced, not looking forward to Karen and Elliot crowding around him.

"Great, the worrywarts are there. Wonderful" Giratina muttered.

Palkia shook his head at Giratina.

"Try to be nice," Palkia said. "They have been worried about Tora all these years. They did know him while he still lived in the human world, after all."

Giratina sighed.

"I make no promises," Giratina said. "Elliot is fine, but if Karen gets in my face I'm not responsible for what happens."

Palkia sighed, knowing that was the best he was going to get from him.

"Either way, thanks to my attack, Darkrai will lose his memory," Palkia said. "However, thanks to Luna, he won't be like he was before."

Jolt sighed.

"Well, I guess we won't have to worry about him taking over the world again," Jolt said.

Palkia nodded.

"I would imagine that would be the case," Palkia said. "I will return to Spacial Rift, but I'm sure that we'll meet again. This time with more pleasant circumstances."

Jolt nodded as Palkia glowed and then disappeared. Lia sighed and then looked over at everyone.

"I guess we should go back too," Lia said. "We should let everyone at the guild know everything went well and then let them get some rest at your home, Jolt."

Jolt nodded as Lia picked up both Lunas and Tora before they headed back to Treasure Town.
