Chapter 18: Snivy plays hard to catch

Ash, May, Gary, Max, Jessie, James, Cilan and Iris are now walking towards their next destination, Nacrene City for their next gym battle and first coordination challenge.Cilan joined the group as well.Ash decided to keep less amount of pokemon in fixed slot while he decided to rotate remaining pokemon on rotation basis on type.He currently rotated his electric type which includeLuxray, Magnezone,Electivire,Rotom,Zebstrika, Vikavolt.Gary and Max decided to cut down the pokemon they had on hand.Gary and Max decided to keep six pokemon on hand while others slot open for new catch and rotation.
"It would be delightful for me to travel in a large group, it would be like blend of different flavours mixed well which leaves long lasting flavour on tongue" said Cilan
"Cilan you know that your way of speaking is not understandable to us" said Iris
"So Ash you made switch" asked Max
"Yes, sent my all pokemon back to kanto by keeping sixteen non legendary pokemon fixed.And will rotate them in new fashion based on their type and in this way I can focus on one type at a time and all pokemon of same type from different region." said Ash
"So which pokemon you switched" asked May
"My electric types, will show you once we take rest" said Ash
The group is now near forest.
"Guys I think we should stay here, have a nice lunch and then we can train.Iris you know you need to train." said Ash to which she nodded
"And I have to train my Tepig, Froakie , Oshawott and krokorok " said Ash
"Guys I think we should set up camp here for today, we will start moving tomorrow and meanwhile we can train" said James to which everyone nodded
After one hour camp is ready."So shall we send our pokemon out " said May as everyone sent their pokemon out.There were around sixty four pokemon.
"So guys meet my electric types, " said Ash as his electric types are happy that they are with him.
"Meet Luxray, the very disciplined pokemon, " said Ash as he gently run his hand through his hairs making him purr in the happiness.
"Meet Magnezone, got from professor oak, he was abandoned along with others.But now it is happy and likes to battle occasionally" said Ash
"Next is Electrivire, he likes to battle a lot, but he is more powerful than paul's electrivire " said Ash
"Next is Rotom, Zebstrika, and Vikavolt.Vikavolt is bug and electric type from Alola region, Zebstrika is from Unova itself" said Ash
"Guys these are my friends, you know Gary, Jessie and James, but now meet Dawn, May, Max, Cilan, Iris" said Ash as they started to surround them.
"Ok guys, enjoy and we will train later on" said Ash to which they nodded
" About Iris's axew, Haxorous please help axew in move tutor" said Ash to which Haxorous obeyed
"Iris you have your excadrill right, " said Ash to which she nodded
"Please send him out, " said Ash
Iris then sends her excadrill, upon exit excadrill saw haxorous and his eyes widened and darted at haxorous with drill run.Haxorus sensed the excadrill and created a powerful barrier using protect. The protect was so powerful that excadrill unable to break it and stood back.
"Iris did excadrill battled Drayden and his haxorous and it got defeated" said Ash
"Yes, " said Iris as she saw excadrill charging at haxorous with drill run once again
"Everyone, create a space, a battle is about to unfold." said Ash as every pokemon side stepped, assembled on sides leaving only Haxorous and excadrill facing each other.
"Haxorous I think excadrill got hit hard by defeat from Drayden's haxorous and he want to prove that he is strong, please battle with him" said Ash via telepathic link
"Iris battle haxorous with the excadrill, " said Ash
"Excadrill let's battle together, just like before" said Iris but excadrill didn't listened and charged at the Haxorous with fury swipes.Haxorous simply used aqua tail and send excadrill flying in the air.
"Iris what happened, did something happened between you two when he battled Drayden previously" asked Cilan
"I got it Cilan, " said Ash
"Did you commanded Excadrill to execute something else and he wanted to executed something else" asked Ash making Iris wide eyes
"Yes, in fact I tried to command but excadrill wanted to battle differently and we lost" said Iris
Ash takes deep breath and said "Trust, you broke his trust on you Iris.You thought that Excadrill was battling differently means he is not listening you but in reality he was trying to give you a win.He had different strategy but you thought your strategy was good.This made him think that you don't believe in him and in return he didn't listened to you.
Excadrill is still loyal and caring towards you, he is a very proud Pokémon However, after a devastating defeat, he became resentful to the point of blocking you out and distrustful of yours advice in battle, considering you a bad trainer who would make him lose again." said Ash making everyone shocked.
"Now if you try to command him , he won't listen you until you show him that you still believe his decision Iris.Show him that you trust him to battle on his own. Excadrill has a passion for battling and won't ever give up, no matter what the circumstances, so It is more crucial for you and excadrill to grow stronger by for this you have to start trusting him in battling, even if he wants to try different attack you have to go for it.Maybe you two become one hell of a team." said Ash
"One more thing a Pokemon have good battle instinct than we human have, so we have to believe into them, and in return they believe in us" Ash finished
"Ash when did you become so intelligent, " said Gary to himself
Iris looked at excadrill and said " Excadrill I believe in your decision.Sorry that I thought that I was right in that battle, but I realised my mistake.I am sorry Excadrill, I want to fight along you like we did before, like old times.I trust in you and your decisions of battle, jus give me one more chance to show that I still care about you, your decision." said Iris as Excadrill stopped in mid track and then stayed still then he turned back and said something and gave a smile before facing Haxorous once again.
"Well that's good to hear, excadrill said that he can give her a new chance " said Meowth making everyone cheer in happiness
"Excadrill that's my haxorous, not Drayden's.My haxorous can help you in train so that you can defeat Drayden's haxorous to settle your score and Iris won't command you ,you will battle on your own, solely based on your battle instincts" asked Ash
"Thank you, I would be glad to do that. " said Excadrill
"Iris, from now onwards you will leave Excadrill on his own, until he defeats haxorous" said Ash to which she nodded
"Haxorous and excadrill you both go and train separately, Haxorous you make sure you push Excadrill hard, and use fifty percent of power" said Ash
"Fifty percent of power" asked Max
"Well, truth to be told my all Pokemon are using thirty percent of power level in gym battles , Pikachu when battled Sparky, or my battle against Drayden." said Ash making everyone jaw dropped
"If that was thirty percent then what was full power, " asked Max
"You wanna see it, " asked Ash to which they nodded
"Okay, so let's see, " said Ash until he saw a cliff in distance on other side of the forest
"Pikachu use full power thunder on that part of the cliff" said Ash as pikachu smirked and launched a powerful thundershock that reached all the way up there and destroyed the large part of the cliff into dust, creating a crater on wall of mountain.Everyone opened their eyes and could not believe what they saw.
"No way, you can destroy rock type gym in one attack, " said Max
"One more sample, Gyarados use full power ice beam on haxorous, " said Ash as Gyarados released massive ice beam that covered haxorous in block of ice but haxorous destroyed it and is not even hurt.This made Iris completely out of control.The ice didn't hurt Haxorous.
"If it was some other dragon type then it would have knocked out instantly." commented Iris
"Ash tell us the truth, " said May
"Truth, " asked Ash
"Yes Ash, we believe that in span of two years your Pokemon can't be that strong" said Dawn
"Guys what to do, " asked Ash
"I think they are your friends, they should know it, " said Lucario
"I think I should ask Arceus" said Ash
"You can told them Ash, I won't mind, " said Arceus through telepathy
"Thanks Arceus" said Ash
"Ok then this is how happened, I was trained by legendaries themselves, from Arceus to Giratina, from Zygard to Lunala, from Entei to Rayquaza" said Ash to which everyone is shocked.
"Thank God you didn't told them that in special dimension" said Machamp
"I think I should keep that a secret and should not use that again" said Ash
"Wait you mean to say you and your pokemon were trained by legendaries themselves" said Max as Ash nodded after which everyone fainted.
After ten minutes.
"Hey I thought Ash told us that he was trained by legendaries" said Max gaining his composure.
"And anything we should need to know" asked Gary glaring at Ash making Ash gulped.
"Ha! I know it, you are hiding something" said Gary making everyone glaring at him.
"And we trained in special dimension created by Dialga and Palkia, where time passed five times fast than this dimension.One year here is five years in that dimension.So during two and a half years, I trained for more than two years.Having all sorts of vegetation that help growth of Pokemon.Gravitational force is hundred times of this dimension, starting with two times, it increased by two times until we are ready to move comfortably in that gravitational force.This training made pokemon fast" said Ash
"So this is the secret, and I can not bring anyone there" said Ash
"Finally, everything is clear on how you become stronger in these two and a half years" said Gary
"Please don't tell this to anyone" pleaded Ash
"We promise we won't tell this to anyone, " said Max
"Let's have a lunch" said Ash as after two hours once the group is finished with the lunch they are now ready to train.
"To start, we will have the pokemon of the same type train to make their attacks more powerful. Next, we will set up each pokemon with a type advantage to practice the super effectiveness, then type disadvantage to practice the resistance to them. After that, we will work on speed and endurance, by having a marathon run. To end the training session, we will work on move learning. Am I making myself clear?"said Ash to which everyone nodded
"So first of all, let's made a group for making attacks powerful." said Ash
"Froakie and Oshawott, you two are now team " said Ash to.which they nodded
"Next Jessie and James you make your pikachu's in one group and Gary you made yours, Jessie and James pidove in one group to practice flying types and make their attack stronger."said Ash to which they nodded.In distance Ash could see his haxorous training the excadril in attack domain, making attack of excadril powerful.
" You have to try hard, focus on the weak points that my species has.Try to find the weak spot" said Haxorous as excadrill is striking Haxorous continuously with fury swipes.Haxorous is simply blocking it with dragon claw.
"You are right, " said Excadrill as he dig his way underground
"This is not going to work, " said Haxorous as he jumped twenty feet high in the air and then launched powerful irontail which connected with the excadrill .Excadrill unable to balance and crashed on the field.
"Dig will not work if Drayden's haxorous is able to jump high" said Haxorous
Onother side Ash is training his Oshawott, Krokorok, Tepig and Froakie
"Okay Oshawott use water gun on froakie and froakie you use water pulse and try to absorb water gun" said Ash to which both pokemon nodded
"Froakie and Oshawott your main aim should be to make your water type attacks stronger." said Ash
As commanded they did the same thing and water pulse is getting bigger and bigger.Oshawott is getting out of water and stopped the attack.
"Now froakie use, that water pulse" said Ash as froakie launched the water pulse which made oshawott panic and he rushed to hide behind Tepig who is training behind him with krokorok.As water pulse is approaching the two pokemon, Ash motioned his hand and water pulse started to float in the air.
"You can control water too" asked Iris to which Ash nodded
"Oshawott, what happened.Why did you panic.You are water type and it will not affect you.And how would you become strong if you get scared of a water pulse attack" said Ash in low tone
"No problem, you can try once again, " said Ash
"And this time you should push each other attacks back" said Ash to which they nodded and Ash went to see how Iris is doing.
"Ok Axew use use scratch on that tree trunk to make it stronger, " said Iris which made Ash happy that she is trying to train.On other hand Haxorous and Excadrill are still engaged in training
On other side Gary, James, Jessie are training their pidov and pikachu's along with their other pokemon.
On other side Gary, James, Jessie are training their pidove and pikachu's along with their other pokemon.Cilan decided to train his passage too.Pidove are engaged in battle of quick attack to improve execution time and target accuracy.
The Pikachu are making their thunder shock stronger and quick attack faster.
Gary is taking help of Umbreon, Blastoise, and Electrivire to help in improving pidove's digging skills in air.Electrivire is releasing low power electric waves in air, umbreon launching dark pulse and blastoise releasing ice beam.
"You are doing good pidove, stay focused " said Gary
Jessie and James are now helping their other pokemon in making their attacks stronger.
Jessie helping wobbufett to improve timing of mirror coat , and power behind bide and counter.For seviper she is improving it's speed of movement.Jessie training her pokemon.Both Tepig and Growlithe are making their flamethrower stronger.Krokorok is improving his digging time.
For the next three hours they all trained until everyone asked their pokemon to stop training.
"Ok after one hour we will do move tutoring, and then target practice." said Ash
One hour later Jessie, James, Gary and Ash decided to teach their pokemon new moves.
Ash decided to teach Froakie protect, double team, ice beam and rock smash.For tepig double team,protect, wild charge and solar beam.For Oshawott Ash decided to teach double team,protect, aqua jet and ice beam.To Krokorok he decided to teach protect and double team.
Gary, James, Jessie decided to teach their pidove steel wing, double team and aerial ace.For Pikachu Jessie and James decided to teach them irontail, agility and thunder punch.
James also decided to teach his other pokemon.For Growlithe he thinks of dig, fire spin, wild charge and flame charge.For Mime Jr thunderbolt, solar beam, psychic.For carnivine James thought of synthesis, giga drain.For chimecho he thought of gravity, telekinesis, shockwave, magic coat, icy wind, hyper voice,shadow ball and confusion.
Jessie thought of adding more moves for appeal.She shocked to find the he already knows destiny bond and no much moves or can learn.So she kept wobbuffet out of move tutoring.For yanmega she decided tailwind and gigadrain.For Seviper she decided Aqua tail, Irontail and giga drain.
Ash's pokemon decided to help them.Pikachu helping Jessie's and James's Pikachu.Ash's Gardevoir decided to help James's Mime Jr and Chimecho.
Total two hours passed and the move training is about to come to an end for the day and Ash decided to see the training.
"James how training is going on" asked Ash
"Going good, chimecho is able to form shadow ball, and MimeJr is able to use solar beam." said James
"Let's see how they have done, " said Ash
"Chimecho and mime jr try to launch your attacks at me" said Ash to which they nodded and launched the attack.They are able to form the attack but it disappeared as soon as they launch them.
"No problem, you guys have to just practice and we both know you will pull it off " said Ash as both pokemon gave same way of greeting which they give to James
"You are so nice." said Ash as they both get back to the training.
"Tepig,Froakie, Oshawott and Krokorok how your tutorial going on" asked Ash
Froakie able to execute ice beam and rock smash but it lacks power.Tepig able to generate electricity around him bit it needs more practice.Oshawott able to make copies but copies disappeared quickly, krokorok is improving on digging time.
"Nice job you four" said Ash making them blush in praise
"Max, May, Dawn what are you up to" asked Ash
"Well we don't know, we are just looking you guys train, " said Max
"It seems Cilan, Pansage , Iris, Axew and Excadrill are training hard" said May
"Cilan how your training is going on" asked Ash
"It's good, well passage learned synthesis and focus punch" said Cilan
"What you say, should we stay here for two more days until our pokemon master their moves at least at intermediate level" said Ash
"Sure, " said Max
"Hey Ash can we capture new pokemon, " asked Max
"Okay I don't mind, but can we do it tomorrow" said Ash
"No problem, after all we want to have a rest for now" said Dawn
"Ok, " said Ash as he went to Iris and see how her move tutoring going on.
"Haxorous how is move tutorig going on, "asked Ash
" Axew is able to use dragon rage, but it is getting disappeared as soon as he launched the attack" said Haxorous
"Ok Axew show me your dragon rage" said Ash as Axew get in a battle position and then opened his mouth.A blue color orb started to form in the mouth but it got exploded as soon as axew tried to launch it.
"Don't worry we will work on this gradually.My gible took more time to master draco meteor" said Ash
"But I am glad Excadrill gave you second chance, so don't lose this chance" said Ash
For next two days Ash and gang decides to stay there and help their pokemon master the moves decided to teach them.

It's been two days passed and Ash, Jessie, James and Gary's new captures are learning their moves and they are at the edge of mastering the moves.
"Ok Tepig use wild charge!" said Ash
"Growlithe counter with flame charge" said James
The collision of wild charge and flame charge leads to explosion in the mid of the field resulting into smoke and dust.When dust and smoke cleared both pokemon we're heavily panting.
Ash started to clap and then followed by others.Ash's pokemon started to cheer up.
"Nice job you two" said Ash and James as they picked their pokemon after which they licked them."Now take a well deserved rest" added
"Next one is Froakie, " said Ash as Jessie steps forward and Pikachu jumped on front of her releasing sparks
"Pikachu use agility" said Jessie as Pikachu starts to run forward on all fours, leaping from side to side and appears to repeatedly vanish and immediately reappears in different spots while running.
"Froakie use double team and use water pulse " said Ash as frokie made his copies covering the field.Froakie made himself settled on tree branches
"There are too many, " said Jessie until she said "Pikachu destroy the branches with iron tail" as pikachu's tail glowed white and strikes benches making them fall from the trees but real froakie is no where to be seen.Then all of sudden smoke surrounded the battle area
"Smoke screen, " said Jessie in surprised look and Jessie's pikachu is looking at his surrounding
"Ok froakie use, frubbles on pikachu's leg and tail " said Ash
Pikachu is looking at the surrounding and then white sticky substance covered the tail and leg making it unable to move.
"Now use rock smash" said Ash as froakie assaulted Pikachu with rock smash and ultimately drained the energy.
"Ok Froakie, stop.Your double team and sneaking skills improved a lot" said Ash as Froakie returned back to Ash and loved the praise he is receiving from Ash
"Froakie clean frubble from pikachu with water pulse" said Ash as froakie cleared the sticky substance.
"Thanks, " said Pikachu
"You did great, " said Froakie
"You were awesome too" said Likachu in return
"Guys breakfast is ready, " said Cilan
"Ok we are coming, " said Ash
Everyone is enjoying their breakfast after everyone give their Pokemon their meal and recalled them in the pokeball.Only three Pikachu and Axew were out.
But then the real chaos begins.A Pokemon is looking at the crowd.
"Wow Cilan, your cooking skills are amazing , you can give competition to Brock" said Max
"Brock, " asked Cilan
"Yup, our friend, he travelled with me from Kanto till Sinnoh.He is an amazing cook, breeder, pokemon doctor and nutritionist " said Ash
"And gym leader" said Dawn
"Awesome, the human food" thought the certain pokemon
"Phase one: distraction" thought the Pokemon as it released the sweet smelly powder.
"Cilan did you smell something, a sweet scent kind of thing" asked Max
"In fact, it is very pleasant smell" said May as she get up and started to move in different direction followed by her Pokemon
"More scent need to be released " thought Pokemon as it related more aroma in all
direction after which Ash and his friends started to look for the source.
"Guys did you find any thing from which this aroma is coming" asked Ash
"Not yet" said Max
"Phase two: attraction" thought the Pokemon as it tapped Max and released the pink heart that made all Max infatuated
"Max" said Ash as he becomes infatuated to and then Cilan only leaving the girls
"What you say, is there any Pokemon" asked May
"May be, which means it used attract and she is a female" said Iris
"Phase 3: Attack" said Pokemon a tornado of leaf appeared and covered the view of Ash and his friends.Tornado strikes everyone creating a distraction
"Phase 4: Grab and escape" said Pokemon as taking advantage of the distraction it grabbed the human food and escaped.
Once everything gets normal everyone is shocked to see that some containers of food is empty.
"Someone stole it" said Ash as spotted the fallen chunks of food on the field in the certain direction.
"Look guys, whoever stole the food it carried food in that direction." said Ash pointing towards the open field.
" You guys stay here and see no other Pokemon come here, while I go and catch that Pokemon." said Ash
"Zebstika come out' said Ash releasing his electric type
" Zebstrika let's go in that direction, some one stole our food" said Ash as he rides Zebstrika in the direction where the food thief went.
After riding for ten minutes Ash spotted a snivy stuffing the food inside it's mouth
"You stole our food" said Ash as an ivy stick it's tongue out.
"I know in wild you are unable to find descent food, and you could ask us, we would be happy to give you the food but you made a mistake by stealing it" said
Ash.Snivy kept the food aside and released the sweet scent.
"Zebstrika you are too strong for this Pokemon, return" said Ash which made Snivy angry and her eyes glowed red outing zebstrika.
"Mean look, you know mean look" said Ash in amazement
"Listen we have battle, if I win you come with me, I will make you stronger and you will get food for lifetime making Snivy to think hard and then it nodded
" But I will not battle with zebstrika, I will battle with this pokemon" said Ash releasing krokorok
"A battle time" said Krokorok
"Krokorok use double team" said Ash as krokorok made his multiple copies and snivy is confused but then she released sweet scent that made krokorok to leg his guard down and removed his other copies.
"So you are smart too, " said Ash as snivy released pink hearts without any delay which infatuated the krokorok
"Krokorok return" said Ash as snivy escaped into another direction.
"Zebstrika return" said Ash recalling him back
"Now let's see, where you are" said Ash as he closed his eyes and searched for the aura of snivy and he found that and then he teleports away
Snivy is resting on a giant rock until Ash teleported there where she got startled and released leaf tornado.Ash created the barrier to protect himself.
"Snivy come with me, you won't have to search for food once again" said Ash
"I can't trust trainers any more" thought Snivy which Ash heard due to his psychic powers.
"What you mean by you can't trust trainers anymore," asked Ash
"Did this human read what I thouht " asked Snivy to herself
"Yes I can read your thoughts because I am a psychic user" said Ash shocking Snivy
"A human capable of using psychic powers" said Snivy and without any delay she hopped towards different direction.
"Let's go Ash, " said Pikachu as both Ash and Pikachu chased Snivy and later on they came into different part of forest.
"Snivy we want to talk to you" said Ash as he decided not to use any pokemon so that her trust on trainers will be strong.
Then all of sudden green vines strikes Ash .
"Snivy come out, we are not going to hurt you.I know you are abandoned.I also have too many pokemon that were abandoned " said Ash once again as they exit the forest until snivy came in front of Ash and challenged him for a battle but before that she wanted to see abandoned pokemon.
"I can show you two as of now" said Ash releasing the Gardevoir and Tepig.Upon releasing the two pokemon, snivy is shocked to see the two pokemon.
As Tepig released out of pokeball he shocked to see the Snivy
"Snivy is that you," asked Tepig
"Tepig you, is that you" asked Snivy
"You two knew each other" asked Ash at which Tepig said "Yes, Shamus found her hurt and abandoned so he took her in "
"But I left him as soon as he told me he abandoned you, I broke the pokeball" said Snivy
"And he didn't even bothered to call you back" asked Tepig
"No, he didn't.Infact he was glad that I released myself " said Snivy
"Sorry to hear, but is Shamus your first trainer," asked Ash
"Nope, there were two trainers who abandoned me, first one is my original trainer, then a girl took me in and then she did the same." said Snivy
"But why, " asked Ash
"Because I was weak, and from past three weeks I was battling wild pokemon to get stronger" said Snivy
"Want to come with us," said Ash at which she challenged Ash
"Tepig get ready, " said Ash
Snivy charged at tepig with quick attack,and Ash commanded tepig to charge flame charge but should stand at one place.As soon as snivy collided with Tepig she got burned with flame charge.Tepig stood back and launched flamethrower at snivy which she gracefully dodged and then launched vine whip binding Tepig.
Tepig started to get panic but Ash told bot to get panic and initiate flame charge.The flame from flame charge travelled through vines before engulfing snivy.
Snivy endured flame charge and launched leaf tornado.Tepig told to use protect and then double team to corner snivy and use flame thrower.Snivy dodged the attack once again and launched quick attack once more sending Tepig flying through the air.Tepig balanced itself and launched flame thrower snivy countered with leaf tornado and both attacks collided leads to explosion.Snivy and Tepig started to getting tired.
"Ok Tepig finish her with flame charge" said Ash as Tepig rammed into snivy but snivy jumped high with vines and launched leaf tornado that strikes Tepig knocking it back.
"I will not get defeated " said Tepig as he started to glow orange red
"Ash that's blaze," said Pikachu making Ash nod
"Yes, he is strong I can say that" said Ash
With blaze activated Tepig launched masive flame thrower.
"Overheat" said Ash in amazement and looked at pokedex and learned that Tepig learned overheat.
As Tepig launched the overheat ,it engulfed snivy in flames which she unable to handle and fainted in the process.Ash successfully captured the snivy.Tepig looked at his opponent.Happy with the battle outcome it started to dance happily.
"Tepig you are amazing" said Ash
As he hear his praise from Ash he licked him and started to nuzzle him.
"Return for now," said Ash recalling his pokemon.
After two minutes Ash is back at the camp.
"So this Snivy was abandoned too," asked Cilan
"Yes, infact by two trainers " said Ash as he is healing her.
"Now you are good as before, " said Ash as he give Snivy her food
"Ok everyone , so we will leave this place in next one hour
" Snivy these are my friends and yours too" said Ash as he pointed at large group of pokemon consisted of pokemon of himself and his friends.
"And these are my human friends Max,May,Jessie,James,Gary,Iris,Cilan and Dawn." said Ash as Snivy gently bowed in front of them
"Snivy, are we friends" asked Ash extending his hands after which snivy extends her vines in return.
"Good" said Ash
"Hey Ash please battle me, " said Max
."In next city battle club, two vs two what you say" asked Ash
"Okay, but with your old pokemon and I want you to use full power" said Max
"You sure you want me to battle at full power" asked Ash to which he nodded
"I think then we should battle here, if battle club get destroyed then I would be doomed. " said Ash
After ten minutes Ash is now facing Max.
"Okay then send your first pokemon," said May acting as referee
"Charizard go" said Max releasing a fire lizard
"You got yourself a charizard, amazing" said Ash in amazement
Ash rotated pokeball and threw it in the air from which enmerged primeape.
"Charizard use dragon rush" said Max as charizard flew up high in the air and then cobered in green aura taking shape of a dragon and then charged at the primeape.
"Seriously Ash," asked Primeape with dull look making Ash just shrugged
"Primeape intercept it' said Ash as primeape waited and then jumped ten feet in the air just before charizard is about to attack and then dived down with poison jab with such a speed that charizard didn't get a chance to balance himself and got fainted instantly.
" Charizard is un-una-unable to battle, Primeape wins" said May
"Charizard, you okay" asked Max as charizard stood up with his remaining strength and nodded
"Sorry Max, but next pokemon I will choose from new captures" said Ash to which he nodded
"Return primeape," said Ash recalling his fighting type.
Max sends his absol next and Ash sends his Froakie
"Absol use mean look" said Max
"Froakie use smoke screen" said Ash as froakie released the black smoke covering the view.When smoke disappears froakie is nowhere to be seen
"Froakie use frubbles to stick Absol to the ground" said Ash
All of sudden cream color frubbles stick to Absol's legs and tail, also covering part of the body in sticky substance.Absol tried to use its fang to remove it but it's of no use.
"Froakie use pound " said Ash as one of Froakie's hands glows white and it strikes the absol with it continuously.
Absol then released thunderbolt that send Froakie crashing into the tree after which absol made itself free.
"Ok Absol use psycho cut" said Max as Absol's horn glows pink and a crescent shape energy blade strikes froakie.Absol sending the attacks back to back at froakie.Froakie then evaded the last attack and released water pulse at Absol.Absol unfortunately dodged the attack.
"Your froakie is amazing Ash, " said Max
"Thanks, " said Ash
"Froakie ready to rock and roll" asked Ash
"Froak" replied Froakie
"Okay then use water pulse and transfer the protect on water pulse" said Ash which shocked froakie as he created water pulse and tried to use protect on water pulse in which he succeeded.Water pulse is now covered in blue dome.
Froakie launched the attack at Absol.
"Absol destroy it with psycho cut" said Max as absol launched the attack but due to protect it bounced back at absol and water pulse strikes Absol sending it crashing into the tree.
"Now Absol use thunderbolt, " said Max
"Froakie use frubbles as a protective layer and use pound" said Ash as Froakie used frubbles all over his body and then charged at Absol with pound.Thunderbolt hit froakie but thanks to frubbles he was safe and landed a powerful pound attack on absol leaving greater damage on it.
Absol stood up and glared at the Froakie.
"Absol fire shadow ball" said Max
"Froakie use double team " said Ash
Froakie created his copies and evaded the attack successfully.
"Absol you use double team too, " said Max "And use psycho cut"
Absol made its copies and launched psycho cut revealing the original froakie.Psycho cut did greater damage to froakie
Froakie stood up and glared at Absol.
"Absol thunderbolt, Froakie ice beam " said Ash and Max
Absol fired thunderbolt and Froakie fired ice beam.Both attacks pushed each other until small explosion occurred throwing both Absol and Froakie backwards after which both fainted.
"Froakie and Absol are unable to battle, this is a draw" said May
"Awsome job Froakie" Ash praised his pokemon
"And Max you were good too" said Ash
"So guys let's go ,Nacrene city here we come" said Ash as the gang wrapped up their belongings and then departed for the Nacrene City.
