Chapter 22: Rock On 1-A! Rock and Roll Sports Show!
Todoroki and Izuku walk away to an isolated hall.
"So Todoroki, what do you wanna talk about?"
"Midoriya, if we ever face each other, just remember that I am going to be the one to win. I need to show him that I can win and become the number one hero without his fire." Shoto said.
"Look, I'm not sure what you're on about, but just know this; there is going to be sometime in your future where you will need to use that fire of yours because there will be someone against whom your ice will fail." Izuku said.
"What do you know about Quirk Marriages, Midoriya?" Shoto asked.
"Not much but i do know that it is a forbidden practice that originated from the era of the dawn of quirks." Izuku said.
"That is correct. The practice was banned a few generations after quirks showed up. It forced 2 quirks into marriage and not 2 people, the 2 quirks then combined and were passed onto the offspring. A man such as my father, driven by his desire to beat all might, used this as his second plan after he couldn't overcome all might on his own. He used my mom to create me and my siblings after he won her relatives over with money. Once I was born and had both his fire and mom's ice, he saw me as this perfect child and raised me to become this perfect successor and the next number one hero. I am going to show him my strength and win against you without his fire." Shoto explained. "Once that is done, I will become the next number one hero with just my ice and show him that I am rejecting his quirk."
"Todoroki, look you think that the fire is from Endeavor's quirk but you fail to notice that it is actually your quirk and I am going to make sure that you understand this one way or another!" Izuku told the candy-cane haired boy before walking away to get ready for their performance.
The band gets ready for their performance. They were waiting in an underground stage, waiting for it to rise. Izuku was checking the connections of his guitar to his Pedalboard and the Messa Boggie preamp and cabinet, Kenshi checked his guitar and cab connections making sure everything was set, Jirou and Ochako were going over the lyrics of their songs and momo was going through the sheet music and stretching her fingers. Katsuki was working up a sweat to get ready for the opening act, practicing grooves and blast beats.
The dance team was on a separate stage, stretching and getting ready while the effects team was making final checks for the performance.
Back on stage, the spectators are waiting for an announcement from the announcers Mic and Eraserhead. When a sudden explosion and a burst of light catches their attention.
"AAAALllllllllllright folks, time for the special event for today. We have UA very own class 1-A with a stunning performance for all of you." Mic announces. Aizawa with his deadpanned look, raised up devil horns. "Rock on," He said. The crowd cheered and the curtains raised. The band was in a pose.
"Get ready U.a, cause our sound is gonna blow you to hell!" Katsuki said. He did a drum beat and then, the dances came to stomp and clap to the beat. (We will rock you - Queen)
During the next song Katsuki was starting a nice groove getting the crowd hyped. Aoyama used his quirk to make lasers of different colors. "Thanks so much for coming out tonight!" (Be Legendary-Pop Evil)
Mina and her group of dancers were dancing to the rhythm of the beat. She had certainly taught the group well. They were well organized when it came to certain dance moves. Izuku went up to the microphone and started to sing. Ochako fell in love with his voice as it was to die for. Inko was brought to tears seeing her son shine in the performance.
Momo on the other hand, just improvised on certain parts on her keyboard. Katsuki kept it cool when playing the drums. For some reason it always managed to cool his anger. He had memories of when his mother brought him a drum kit.
Kenshi went up front and started playing a guitar solo. (Eruption). He did all kinds of various techniques on that guitar such as shredding, tapping, and also use of the whammy bar. Momo was watching him play and sparkles were in her eyes. The next song was one where Momo got to shine on the Keyboards trying out new effects. (Whatever it Takes-Imagine Dragons).
As the next song starts, the vibes of the stadium changed, as Present Mic jumps from the announcers box, does a superhero landing, takes the center stage and starts to rap with the band. "Was this part of the plan?" Katsuki asked. "Just roll with it," Izuku said. (Remeber the name). Feeling the hype, Kenshi did a guitar medley of music from one of his favorite rappers, Jay-Z. "And now ladies and gentlemen, behold, my pal Katsuki Bakugo, on the drums!" Katsuki was doing a handstand and then went back to his seat. He started with the snare and then added the bass drum. He was doing a nice quiet slow jam at first doing little fills along the way. The beat started to get wilder. While this was happening, Camie made an illusion of a volcano about to erupt. Izuku then takes center stage with his double necked guitar playing the first song to enter the hall of fame. (Hotel California) He starts to play the song intro, as Kenshi gives a backup to it. When the lyrics start, the crowd gets blown away as Izuku now starts to sing and play at the same time.
Mina and her dancers danced to the music, while also improvising on the start. Towards the end of the song, Izuku and Kenshi have a back and forth with their guitar, letting the 2 guitars bleed emotions through their playing.
Next in line was one of Jirou's very own creations, a song she called Unstoppable. She dedicated this song to all the heroes that put their lives on the line for the people. (Unstoppable-The Score)
FInally Katsuki lit his sticks on fire for the next song, with Ochako on the vocals and Momo on the keys. Kenshi, Jirou and Izuku had taken a short break from their performances and were drinking some water. (Burn - Ellie Goulding - Cooper Drummer Version)
Izuku walks back on the stage, this time without his guitar and stands next to Ochako. As soon as the song ends there is a short pause, where Jirou and Momo were talking to the crowd this allowed Katsuki to get a break and the dancers to switch positions for the next sng, which was a duet between Izuku and Ochako. A vocal battle between the 2, each line sung was dedicated to the other and expressed the feelings of the 2 . (You are the reason.)
Kurumi and Maruki were watching the performance. Kurumi shed a tear from her eye. "My baby girl can sing," she said. Kenshi walked up to the stage. "These whole few weeks have been the best I ever had," he said, "I've made friends, family, and I'm part of a group of students who accept me for who I am despite my disability." he turns to the people on the stage and the dancers on the stage below.
People were listening to his speech. "My goal of being a pro is to show the world that anybody with a disability including but not limited to autism, can be a hero like everyone else," Kenshi continued, "People told me I couldn't make it, they told me I was just dreaming, but everything starts out as a dream. But the more work you're willing to put in, the closer you get to achieving your goal!"
Smoke was coming from below the stage. "So yeah, I'm a dreamer, and I'm also a gamer, and a kid!" Kenshi said, "But most of all, I'm… I'm… I'm…"

As The performance was going on, Camie made illusions of punkers going near the dancers. Mina and her crew were punching each of them away while Kenshi was continuing to sing.

The 'punks' came closer to Kenshi. An explosion happened. Kenshi appeared from the smoke dressed up in some kind of fancy costume playing a wild guitar solo. Ochako touched him with his fingertips and suddenly he began to float. Lasers started coming from the headstock. They were being fired at targets that were around the stadium.
The crowd was getting hyped from the performance, especially from Kenshi's amazing guitar playing. Aizawa jumped off the stage and did a stagedive. "Whoa!" Mina said, "You don't see that every day!" Kenshi turned to the band and cued them to end it on a high note. The crowd cheered.
Kenshi was taking a breather til he heard Momo playing the keys again. Katsuki then joined in. Jirou came in. One by one each of the band members came back and kept the music going. Kenshi did another guitar solo doing more amazing tricks. "WOOOOOOOO!" Kenshi said on the microphone. "Glad you guys are having a good time!" Present Mic arrived. "Jojo, your time's up!" "Aw man…"
