Chapter 19: Case Evaluations And Carter's Arrest III

"The evidence points to me, but I didn't do it!" he said shaking and the trio nodded, as Weine pulled Alex and Clear closer to him at that. Looking at his actions where his rival was concerned, he realized nothing was changing the man's mind now. He was siding with his rival, and to him, he was the dangerous one as Shreck looked at him sternly.

"Crazy jealousy is a high motive in this case for attempted murder, as is a psychosis of wanting out from under our scrutiny." Weine said in response sternly. "So that's our line of thought you hate him for getting you kicked off the plane, arrested. And kicked off the teamm you no longer her favorite student and Terri is with him all the time right now."

"Based on this case of an IED and you not thinking straight to realize what the hell you could have done right now, how can we believe that. And with the fact your school held you back a year, and you blame Alex for this, you're ticked that Terri blew you off. And so she could be with Alex for a few months before she leaves for college right now."

"We know you're furious and you blame Alex for you getting thrown off the plane, for your getting held back a year. For your arrest and for Terri not wanting to be around you so she and the quartet, your teachers. Can spend some time together, for the summer, before they leave, crazy jealousy is a high motive." The chief said sternly to the news.

"Based on what we, that's my partner, the doctor that just helped save Alex and I know, and the fact your psychological reports state this exactly. And of your attitude, your history with Alex, the fact you got caught with the pills. So tell me, who's bright idea was this exactly, who decided to drug him exactly and set him up right now, huh, who."

"Who exactly?" Weine asked and the quartet exchanged panicked looks. "We're waiting, who is the mastermind for this idea in his case right now?" the chief asked again and he nodded. "You guys got one chance to come clean right now, who's idea was this exactly?" Shreck said and when they didn't get an answer the trio nodded sternly as Weine said it.

"Never mind taking this to the state judge, we do it at your town government and judge, as we're transferring here for the duration." Shreck said to the chief and he nodded. "Just you or another team?" Clear asked and he crossed his arms. "Just us, we know you guys best that we setted into our own life here, but social services is getting called in now."

"So let's see how they like it when the shoe is on the other foot now, and when their target is working for both us and the cops." he said and their precinct nodded sternly. "Agreed, he's been arrested for the following charges, so if their doing a first duty they get tried and the leader is the prime suspect, but their idiocy could've killed everyone."

"But you want to go to the catch of duty to your friends, and you're all getting it right now as the single member knowing he has to come forward, then you all blew it." he said and Weine nodded sternly. "You think your parents are going to take this well, that you're refusing to tell us the truth right now?" he asked and they swallowed and he nodded.

"Fine if that's the way you want it, you guys got 7 to 10 months in juvie for this, while you, young man, are the prime suspect now. You attack him for no damn reason, and try to point the finger at him, just to get our scrutiny off of you. And on him for once and by one single exchange, that was blown here, we don't buy that right now, young man."

"If this was in reverse, we would see your attempting to bait him as a cheap shot right now of turning our scrutiny off you and on him and your clique. We consider you suicide terrorists as such right now, there is no use debating this now. Your loss of temper, just blew your case in our eyes, and we already decided this, but guilty till proven innocent."

"But by this point we blame you for the crash, Todd and Terri, how about the fact you could have killed Billy by causing a car accident. Before the near miss with whatever Alex had to prevent from hitting Terri, as we see a direct pattern. You arrive at the scene and then comes the close call or murder." Weine said sternly and Shreck finished that remark.

"How can we be sure of that, if this was in reverse now, Alex was at the scene or just arriving at the scene, before we lost the trio. But the fire, the evidence, the house looks just like the crash now, the evidence was in what started the fire. The evidence in this bag, and with it the fact that in extreme temperatures, blood coagulates after you die."

"But in heat to this extent, it turns it into a texture as thick as caramel, like the candied apples, but anything that was standing in it, say a shoe or boot print. And we know that this was no freak accident, but in his case, we delayed him, but in your's now. We know you blame him for getting you kicked off the god damn plane, you're furious at him."

"For getting you kicked off the plane, so just what does this look like to us right now, you lost your mind and decided to try and kill him now. Case of crazed jealousy now, she lied to you, that she had other plans, you come driving by in your car. And see he was her other plans, they were meeting up for lunch, him acting like her big brother now."

"So think about it, we know you're pissed she blew you off, so she could spend some brother/sister time with him." he said and Carter paled. "Before starting the fire to cover your tracks, but too late, as the fire caramelized his blood now. We find your footprints in his blood, your fingerprints on the knife, so to us, it looks you tried to kill him now."

"Tried to kill your ex teachers, your girlfriend and your group, out of crazed jealousy, so you can be seen as the sole survivor. But Billy catches you in the act and as you tried to cover it up by setting the house on fire until the gas tank. As the water heater explodes, until it sets the entire thing on fire." Shreck said slowly and he swallowed hard at that.

"After trying to kill him tonight, we see this as you lost it finally and we need to have you committed now for this, but whether or not you did it. You already were passed the point of no return with your record with the police. So what the hell do you think this is going to do to you huh, what exactly, that your friends all chose him and you lost it finally."

"You see how we could consider that the level of ethanol has damaged your mind and to us, you lost total control of your senses. When we find the evidence pointed directly at you, like what's in that bag right now, pointing you out as the prime suspect. And once again, he's recovering from a near fatal injury?" Weine said slowly at that remark then.

"And really, if not for me and that could have destroyed the plane anyway, how can we be sure when the path of the explosion mimics the path. And of what burned the damn house down, barely missing killing me and for the second time. And in nearly three months right now, all the evidences points at you, that my boss just reached his limit."

"They're arresting you and whether or not you did it as we put you in exile, to keep you away from us until the circle plays itself out. But trying to run only makes you look guilty right now, Clear, Agent Weine and Agent Shreck. They're all scared out of their minds at how close your reckless behavior came to killing me." Alex said and the trio nodded.

"Smaller impact explosion, which is a direct link to what just happened earlier and once again you're the one recovering from it. As Clear and Valerie use your radio to contact us and put the fire out, as Billy told us he was running away from her house. And seeing you like this for the second time in three months." The chief said with a low growl at that.

"We need anymore evidence that he was the prime suspect right now, that's the second near fatal injury in three months. And we got to take you to hospital this time, and so you can recover as he's been in hiding for close to a month. God kid, you keep this up and you're going to give me a heart attack." Weine said in exasperation at that remark.

"I know, but seeing the oncoming attack is hard when you're exhausted and too scared to think straight right now. You pretty much read my mind, but every time he is in range of us someone gets marked next. And then comes a close call I got to prevent, so again just what does that say to you?" Alex asked and the female guard repeated her remark.

As she crossed her arms sternly as she quoted it with her taped self as she exchanged annoyed look with her partner. "He's a suspect in sabotaging the equipment, but to prove he is not the one who needs to be in psyche. He's trying to get our attention off him and on Alex by provoking him Valerie, so with that in mind."

"Is he okay?" the female guard asked and she nodded. "He's shaken up at how close it was, but he's alright, the adrenaline burst is going through his system. At the moment, he just saw that his premonition was proven correct right now." she said and they both nodded to the news then as Clear finished the remark sternly.

"Yeah that would be enough to scare you and I get why, but preventing it repeatedly is too much no matter what way you cut it right now. But off to a good start, you I see as beyond rational now, as this took his reaction to the next level. And one that landed him in psyche with not only us, but the department." Weine said, resting a hand on his back.

"He is also scared out of his mind right now, that what if this is not a one time thing, but permanent, as he's stopping death after death after death. And as it starts going on in repeated circles till the end of the year. Before we all start college, how many times can you go through it, before your heart is beaten."

"And black and blue and you give up, that attack was no heinous reaction, though, he's off the hook as we took a chance. As he was seeing the future and decided to have the possible culprit arrested." she said and finished with a low growl of fury and the trio nodded sternly, knowing she was pissed at this attempt on him.

"And get everyone off the plane and before it explodes in the launch, so he's innocent." Clear said firmly to that. "I get why you're furious right now, but getting terroritial we got a lot of problems, so take it down a notch right now." Lewton told her and she nodded as she crossed her arms as she moved to join them and he nodded.

And they nodded as the two security guards gave a stern nod to her opinion then. "You pretty much read our minds here at the moment, but every time there's trouble. We find him, or you, at the scene, does he not get that we feel he's linked to the added deaths. This keeps up and we have him subjected to a state wide manhunt later on for custody."

"Or try to bring him in by force and we're just asking for someone to get hurt here if that fight ends up in the woods and takes a mis-step to close too a hill. That could kill him if there's a down tree and a piece of the trunk is directly in range of his face now. Or worse this is happening in the middle a thunderstorm and we're soaked to bone, come on."

"Anyone of 50 things could happen if this manhunt is at night and not during the day, that we got to chase down a teenager, before he ends up hurting himself. But trying to run when at night and you have no idea what's lying around or the hazards. We have that when he pulled us away from you and he's in deep shit for trying to escape custody."

"As someone is going to get hurt in that here." The chief said sternly and they nodded. "This starts and he's always at the scene, then we're seeing this the way the cop, the one on Jumanji saw it. 'I don't believe this, every time there's trouble, I run into you.'." Shreck said as he felt his hackles started rising as he looked at Carter over his shoulder.

"Me, I don't know what you're talking about." Alex said in response and Weine tried to keep from smiling at the exchange as Clear closed her eyes. And as she tried to keep from laughing at that remark. "Case occurance for wisecracks in the middle of this conversation, but that was a joking manner in the remark, but that only set him off."

"In the case of the cop that kept bumping into him as he drags him in for questioning right now, by this point." The chief said with a bemused smile then to that remark. "Come on you guys, is this really necessary right now." Caine asked and with a chuckle and Weine turned and looked at Clear smiling then, as she had a smile on her face.

"And here's the next question, but why is it that every time something happens it's always us who end up in the middle of it. But we're both at Todd's house and at the scene when Terri is barely missed and now comes Ms. Lewton. So again, why is it always us, every damn time here?" Alex asked and Clear smiled at that as she said it then.

"Believe me, I've been asking myself that question for three months, but we don't go looking for trouble. It's that the trouble finds us every time, but this is getting ridiculous right now." she said and Shreck answered that. "That's an understatement you two, but we got to get this under control here." he said and Weine hid a chuckle to that remark.

Before he looked at his future students. "That really necessary kiddo, making wisecracks in the middle of this right now?" he asked him amused then, as the Chief, Caine and the two officers chuckled at the remark. "Like the last few wise cracks as we saw what the blast did to the inanimate objects." Clear said through her laughter at that remark.

As Shreck looked at them with a chuckle. "Alright wise guy, don't push it right now, once the summer starts later on now. But that's when we start your training now." he said and Alex nodded as he looked at his boss then, smiling. "That's just the start of it between us now, our bond." he said and the duo smiled at the remark then gently at that news.

As the trio exchanged smiles, Caine and the chief hid a shake of their heads at that. 'Lovely, the one who's got an easy time with a junior recruit is us, but instead of his having a gun on him. He's good at the side effects of science, so with that, he's got all the makings of a skilled negotiator and FBI agent.' The chief said to himself smiling then.

Watching, as he watched him lean his head against Weine's shoulder and hid a smile at that, as he thought it gently. 'A few weeks left with Eric, but then Wes take over, well I just have to make sure we don't lose him. Cub looks younger then his real age and his emotional balance is still very fragile right now.' he thought softly as he looked at him.

As Weine looked at Alex with a gentle look of paternal care as he thought it softly then then to that remark. 'There's my Cubs now, us like this as the year goes by, he maybe in training, but still under 21, still needs us taking care of him. And Jake would only want us taking charge if he gets hurts more than once.' he thought as he listened to him then.

"It starts up twice, I got to adjust to this, I'm already at the scene every time, the girls, the trio and I talked about this already. We stick together, so Todd: we got a gang get together, pizza and a movie or game night. Terri: we all meet up for lunch outside the Parkers coffee shop, Ms. Lewton: we're at her house helping in packing up that night."

"And so on, in the quintet, as for Clear and me, I'm at her house, if the last after Carter loses it has me getting injured after Billy barely misses getting it himself now. But if every time we're always together he tries to get involved, I got a radio link. And directly to both of you." he said and the duo and the chief nodded in agreement to his idea then.

"Good idea that helps right now, so if you're deflecting it repeatedly, we're right around the corner waiting for the next situation if he causes a very close collision. And said that barely misses Billy, before you got to prevent Terri from walking right into traffic. Of whatever was coming in our direction, Val: contacting us if he's outside the house."

"Before you go to contacting us to get him to stop as we stop the train, as it's barreling down the tracks at you. But that suicide mission just made clear we got to get him out of town and jury rig the damn cabin to make it completely safe now." Shreck said sternly and Alex nodded as he looked at the trio and explained to them quickly at that remark.

"Clear's cabin upstate is ten miles north of her house actually, as a result, as I got problems of my own that night and he's trying to return to town. But come on we don't have time for this right now, if he tries to break house arrest. And of the cabin or the surrounding area around the cabin, you're chasing him back to us now here."

"We're on a hiatus with the fact I deflected it at the moment, but who knows when it starts up again at the moment. But to me, I can deflect it, as I look at the direction that the clues are taking at the moment. But if every time he's around us and immediately following it is a very close call and one month after my injury, my body is still healing."

"And from the blood loss and close call here, but come on, we're trying to rest before we have something else happen and the term is almost over right now. I don't need him on my case simply because I risked getting arrested by getting us kicked off the plane. But then he doesn't get it, that he's the one who's jinxed." Alex said and they nodded sternly.

"I get that, but that attitude is going to wear thin on my patience if every time we find him at the crime scene, he blames you for what happened. When we know that he's the one who nearly resulted in killing whoever it was before the attack hits next. But repeatedly and his pointing the finger at you is pushing my patience to the limit."

"Though this heads in that direction later now and I'm quickly losing my patience with this investigation as he continues pointing the finger at you. But just what makes him think I'd take his word over your's, when you're my student in later years now. But you saved everyone on the plane and every time he's around you, he loses his temper."

"Yes, that's my thinking here right now, but you're me as a teenager like I'm you as an adult and the investigation is just beginning. The kid is obviously jealous you got picked for a job in the FBI this soon after your vision comes true. And the one training you happens to be me." Weine said slowly to that as he rested his hand on Alex's shoulder.

As the chief crossed his arms as he heard Lewton's remark sternly. "Trauma of nearly the loss of everyone in class who means the most of him. And a follow up, but were it not for Carter, they would be traumatized beyond belief right now. He just prevented this and prevented us from losing everyone in the class."

"But if anything and I'm 37, he sees me as a surrogate older sister." Lewton said with a furious growl then. "He's in shock and he's exhausted, stay close." Clear said and Todd nodded in agreement. "Not that I blame you, seeing something like this proven correct is too much at times." Shreck said sternly and Weine nodded in agreement.

"And that's not if the blast injured him in the explosion but if it did, he's the one who needs medical attention after that close call." he said and the attendant nodded. "Guys stick close to him, if he is hurt." Pilot Harrison said and they nodded to the orders firmly as Shreck went over the analysis carefully then as he said it to him.

"Just what makes him think he can outrun us when we know based on the direction he's heading that we know he's heading for one of the three of you girls in houses. As he never read the pattern correctly and Alex is already there and trying to get the victim, whoever said victim it is, or just all of you at once at the moment now, out, now."

"And before whatever happens next and as a result we head there as well to arrest him, but trying to swim across the lake would never work as we would catch him. And before he could barely get more than 10 yards out, but look at the facts here. You're still kids and we're adults, you can't go up against four adults at once anyway right now."

"But arriving in time just as there is another close call hits and this time you're nearly killed in the process. But he barely misses killing himself three times when it's too dark to see anything or where he's going, we see this as he needs to be arrested and sedated. And before he hurts himself or anyone else right now." the doctor asked and he nodded.

"Yeah alright we'd seen enough so if we had to keep meeting up and nothing changes?" Weine asked and he nodded to him. "Yeah nothing changes, no megalomania, no superiority complex, nothing like that. The pattern is one I'm working out, but if every time he sees me with the girls and loses his temper, immediately following it now."

"Is he immediately attacks me and then five minutes later the attack hits here, said that I got to deflect, that just make it clear here. He sees me, loses his temper and there is a close call or someone is nearly hurt right now. That's adding to your theory he's jinxed and you got to separate him from us." Alex said and Weine nodded in agreement then.

"But going on a guess if he decides he's ending his own life and taking us with him, he's going to think that he'll be the one to get it. But we won't, but it doesn't work like that, to catch it, I got to get the intended victim out. Say Clear right now, trapped in the car and I got to be the one to get her out as there is fully powered power line on the hood."

"So with it, there is tank of gas that got wedged beneath the engine, one or both, I risk getting electrocuted just as you arrive and the blast knocks me into the garage. As the power line stopped my heart, but if every time he sees me, this happens. And again, intervening changes the design and skips the target as it keeps going, so with that now."

"It's going to end at me, as I was the last in line of the seven of us." Alex told him and they both nodded sternly. "So you stop it with Todd and it moves to Terri, you save Terri and it hit's Val Lewton and so on?" Weine asked and he nodded. "Yeah I think, but I need to see the path of the explosion to know." he said gently and they nodded firmly to that.

"But at the moment we got to switch things around, at the moment, but for her, she sees this as every time he loses his temper and someone is hurt or killed. So in her eyes, his temper destroys everything it touches, but when around me, she feels safe. Now that I saved the others and the trio." Alex said gently and Lewton nodded in agreement to that.

"Valerie, Larry, could I talk to you two please." Shreck called out gently and they and Jane Hanson nodded as they moved to them as they went into a huddle at that. "Is that what you're really thinking, that with him loaded or he loses his temper. And as he draws a string of death and destruction in his wake after three close calls right now."

"You feel safe around Alex at the moment now that he prevented it, but Carter nearly cost you your best friend and fellow teachers, your students for that outburst?" Weine asked and she nodded as she answered him. "Yeah it is right now, Alex and I already discussed this, but examining it from my point of view right now in his eyes."

"I know that Carter thought this was one sick joke at the moment, tries to bait him, but instead of dignifying him with any type of action. Alex: he keeps his focus on me right now, as I took a chance on his theory and after he lost his temper. Again, the plane explodes, but this continues and he loses his temper every time he sees Alex."

"And immediately following it another close call, my conclusion is his temper destroys everything that he comes into contact with. But they been rivals since the 5th grade and we try to keep them separated here, I've been working at the high school. And for 5 years, but two years as their teacher, and no matter how many times he tries it."

"Nothing ever changes, but though he says I'm his favorite teacher, his attitude as a hotshot, is complete arrogance and he just won't admit he's in the wrong. Alex saved me and the rest of the class now and I feel safe when he's around me now. What's the point of fighting the fact that he's jinxed." she said and he nodded firmly to that news then.

"So you think we should just hold him, with it being a Friday night?" Shreck asked and she nodded as Caine said it for the four of them sternly. "Yes we do, he can lose two days because of his temper and breaking his rehab. But eight days is still plenty of time, we need a night of peace now after this close call." he said and they and the chief nodded.

"I think we can both say this, but we're not letting Alex out of our sight?" she said and he nodded in agreement. "It was too damn close tonight, any closer if Alex had not realized that you were here Colonel we would have lost him. So it was only blind luck now that we had you here already with a civilian medical team arriving a bit ago at the moment."

"But at the moment this just scared the hell out of us right now, I'm not leaving him alone anymore." he said and the trio nodded as Lewton looked at Alex in relief and care then protectively, as he said it then firmly. "He's had enough for one night, but after this, we can both say this with certainty now, but enough of the reckless actions already."

"On top of the fact of how close we came to losing Alex after he took a chance on this and us with him, as that injury could have been directly to an artery. And we would have lost him long before you arrived too, Alex is coming with us. He needs time to heal and without interruptions for a couple days." Murnau said and they nodded sternly to him.

Just as Lewton was getting ready to say it Alex felt a dizzy spell shoot through him as he grabbed the back of the chair to keep from collapsing. Seeing the look on his face, Todd nudged her and she quickly turned and saw sweat breaking out on his face. 'God baby, how long have you been up, sit down, fast.' Clear thought quickly to that, watching him.

Just as she was answering him, Weine shifted his gaze to Alex and saw a bit of sweat breaking out on his face, and felt a surge of paternal concern go through him then. 'Oh no, not now, come on son, sit down, you're not even supposed to be up right now. Sit down, sit down, sit down.' he thought as he watched him carefully then as he waited.

As a dizzy spell shot through Alex and his legs gave and Weine grabbed him as he slipped his arm around him. "Whoa, easy, easy, easy, come on you better sit back down, son." he said as he and Shreck sat him down. "He doesn't have much left tonight, Coach, a few hours sleep should help after we get on board." Todd said and the quartet nodded gently.

"That injury, no patient should be up this quickly after a close call injury like this right now, nor should have he gotten off the perch. That we had him on earlier after the colonel did it." Weine said sharply as he lowered him into the chair, as his mentoring instincts took hold completely as he crouched in front of him then as he looked him over.

"We really need to keep an eye on this, but he needs to rest right now, and never mind another fight at the moment. But I was just waiting for that to hit after he's been up this long right now, but another fight, Carter tries to start something. And he's being arrested for real now here." Caine said as he also crouched in front of him and looked him over.

As Alex rested his head against his shoulder and Weine rubbed his back gently, feeling his paternal side growing as he hid a sigh. 'We have this happen again and I'm not letting him over do it right now, it's okay kiddo, just rest I know you're worn out.' he thought looking him over and Caine hid a smile at the way he was with his student then gently.

"Well that just made it clear, between both together, he needs a chance to recover at the moment, but we had enough for one night. And without added problems right now, so with that in mind right now in this. We need a night or two without complications, he's in your custody." Caine said to Weine and he nodded gently to that remark as he went on.

"Fast learning curve, once a mentor or a coach, you act like a surrogate parent to your student in this case, and trust me. But one too many injuries has us treating the kids like our own cubs at the moment, as such that's just the first injury. So as the year goes by, you're getting overly territorial with your students here, for me though, that did it."

"Though looking like he's fine, his body is suffering a case of anemia and one the four of us need to keep an eye on right now. So to us, we're not taking any chances, his body is recovering from a severe shock at the moment, and as a result. A fight with another classmate could drain him enough to put him back in the hospital, so screw that now."

"If it means giving his body two days to heal, and without interruptions now, then Carter can stay here until he's thinking straight right now." Lewton said sternly as she pulled Alex closer to her in response. "Just one close call drove home the fact that anger can kill and he's furious as his anger nearly kills Alex." Clear said and they nodded firmly then.

As he saw the way Clear leaned her head against his shoulder, Weine nodded, knowing their relationship just started then. "That was too close, but to us, we're feeling we let him out of our sight and he's not going to be there when we get back, so to me. I'm not leaving him alone anymore." Clear said and he nodded gently in understanding to her.

"Alex risked his life for us at the moment, but right now we'd rather take a break and get two days in peace and quiet. Then have another fight start up at the moment, but the boys need to be separated for the next 48 at the moment." Lewton said and they nodded as Weine exchanged looks with Shreck and he said it for both of them firmly at that.

"Just what does he have against you guys right now?" Shreck asked sternly and he explained it to him. "The five of us had been together since kindergarten at the time, but it's your standard clique, to put this in your words in a way you can understand. You remember the SG-1 episode Hathor, there could have been a follow up now."

"To the end of the episode, said is that it was revealed that Jackson resisted her and O'neill's alter ego, turned twin brother, didn't and with him, his marine counterpart. Before O'neill attacked him for just telling him the truth, his hormones almost killed him, but they develop a psychosis to the fact he was stronger then they were right now."

"And the general and joint chiefs hold them for espionage, and turn their, to their thoughts, mission over to him as he was a double agent status. Well that's this right now, as they decide to sabotage him by destroying his relationship with their commander." Alex said and the doctor nodded at the news as he looked at Carter over his shoulder.

"You got in on just your SAT's and he's trying to get a scholarship, but his drinking and record with the cops could cost him his scholarship anyway. But that just shows a true case in psychosis and one that needs to get addressed here right now." Shreck said sternly and he nodded as he looked at him over his shoulder then, sighing then.

"The guys, Clear and I are like the team themselves, before the technology that hurt him at the time now, which sums this up, he's hated me since grade school. As I don't have to show off to get the teachers and adults to like me here. Well it's the standard remark, in the young adult ensigns eyes in this book." he said passing book five to him then.

As he read the remark then. "I can re-write that remark as teacher or captain's pet at the moment, to him and his clique, you're a teacher's pet. And if you guys are in the same college, the professors would take your thoughts over his every time." Weine said and he nodded to answer him as he went further at that remark gently as he said it then.

"Yeah exactly, but here it is, if we been the characters of the prequel novels after Anakin was found, I'm playing his rival and he's Anakin. But he's so jealous that's he's close to destroying his life, but in trying to destroy my life. My future and instead he destroys his own by loss of his temper and drinking." Alex said and they both nodded sternly to him.

"With what I did, he's jealous that one action is now about to get our entire town's attention, as a result of being a asset to the town in my case. And a danger to it in his, my parents are a basic accountant and nurse, his father and mother are banker and fashion designer, of us, my family is more well known with my uncle a pilot/technician."

"We're book worms and until now, we never had something like this happen at the time, like Crusher, I'm the same way, I do what I had to do and never mind my own health. I do what needs to be done to protect my friends as our town is very close knit." Alex said and Weine nodded as that did it as he saw a true case of psychosis in that jealousy.

"So that's the problem, he's jealous you never have to show off to keep their attention on you, but just be yourself, being the star pupil you are?" Shreck said sternly and they nodded. "Like any star pupil he doesn't have to push the limit, we're close and to us now, it's a matter of a father/son bond, or brother/sister, even mother and son, to us."

"There is no need to show off, he just gets into conversation with us, and we talk, but he never has to push the limit. That's how it is for us and we grew close, but with less then two months left of school, the separation anxiety is getting worse. And he doesn't want to let go." Lewton said and they nodded gently as she wrapped her arm across his back.

As they looked at the way the group surrounded him as Shreck saw tears of relief in her eyes at the fact she never lost him after the explosion broke the window. "One issue or another, that close call just scared the hell out of us and instead of us. We nearly lose him out of an injury that could have been fatal." Clear said, looking at him in relief then.

"At the moment we need a weekend of peace and quiet after this close call at the moment right now, but I agree with Val at the moment. The fact this was close is enough that Carter could have killed him earlier and he risked an injury. Just to save the rest of us now, I'm not losing my student, out of a grudge." Murnau said and they nodded softly.

"Alex risked his life to protect us and took a hit to protect Clear from that piece of shrapnel that broke the window. But that's an act of heroism that no hotshot athlete can make in a split second decision here, but I'm a retired army ranger. My student risked his life to save others and risked a fatal injury to protect a fellow classmate right now."

"But a fast decision that would have killed someone, the piece barely missed the carotid artery when it hit him and nailed the tendon on his arm. He also broke that shoulder last year, so twice in two years is too much in our eyes right now." Caine said and the duo nodded as that explained it in why the four teachers had him surrounded then.

As Caine ran a hand through the hair at the back of Alex's head and he hid a smile gently, as he saw the sling and the gentle look of uncertainty in his eyes then. "Too damned close and instead of you losing us, we nearly lose you in the process. Of an act of heroism that most hotshots would never attempt, but one is cutting it close here."

"But 7 more times in the side of 9 months is too much right now in this case." Billy said with a protective growl and Clear nodded in agreement. "Still drained though baby?" Clear asked and he nodded. "Between the alnighter and the blood loss, I feel like I could sleep for 3 days right now, I'm exhausted." he told her and they nodded gently to that.

"I'm just relieved we never lost you man, but you scared the hell out of us when we realized you got hit." George said for all of them as their entire class looked at him in relief and the quintet nodded in agreement to that. "Though how our folks are going to take it that you risk a fatal injury to save a classmate, or the rest of us now here."

"They're viewing this and you as though you were Curtis in the book, you risked exposing yourself for an act of Heroism right now." Todd added as he looked at Robby Parker and Alex reached out and the baby gripped his finger and his mother smiled. "A Baby that is barely out of his toddlerhood, I wasn't having it, that's what made me do it now."

"But my friends, my teachers, I'm closest to the quartet in our teachers, the little guy here has so much to live for, and I wasn't letting the bastard take a child." he said and they nodded as that did it for the town government and Carter swallowed at that. "That's the act of a true hero right now anyway." Caine said and he nodded gently to him then.

"Twice in three hours and the second act is the one that nearly puts you in the hospital, but it's always the quiet ones, but the all star snobs. They are the ones that would never attempt this, but it's the individual." Lewton said and he nodded. "Yep, like Curtis you're the same way, but that was one heck of a fast reaction right now in this case."

"Not surprised, but if we intend to pull Carter out for two days, be ready for the added argument right now. But what you don't need is him pushing you at the moment, your body is still healing from that type of shock at the moment." Weine said to him and the teachers nodded in agreement to that as Caine said it gently to him at that as he said it.

"If you never dealt with a group of teenagers trust me this turns into being a parent alot as most of us are parents, I have a family of my own. And the kids are no older then my players, as such here's your first lesson, but where the blame game is concerned. End the fight before it starts going back and forth now." he said and they nodded to the tip.

"You guys go through this all the time if you're telling us that?" Shreck asked and the quartet nodded with a bemused look. "Yeah my students once it starts I got to break it up, before they kill each other at times and Carter and George. The basic stereotypes are so bad we get close to losing our patience with our students when it resorts to blows."

"Issues in debates, but once it starts we got to break it up, so he blames Alex go to the pre-programmed parental response at the debate, and trust me we do this so often. That we're ending the fight before it resorts to blows on a field trip between the kids." Caine told Weine and he and Shreck nodded with a sigh to that remark as he said it then.

"Here to give an example to what they mean by that, he started it." Alex said and Todd answered that. "No he started it." he said in response as Alex answered him. "Didn't" "Did" "Didn't" "Did" "Didn't" Did" "Didn't" Alex said and Lewton said it bemused as she looked between them as the trio were shaking in laughter at that response, relieved.

Now, at the fact that nothing changed as the prevention would have them continuing in acting like this, as the quartet of teachers exchanged bemused smiles as she said it. "I don't care who started it between you guys, break it up or you're both in detention." she said and they nodded as Weine nodded with a bemused smile as he answered that look.

"And I don't care who started it, I'm ending it, now break it up already guys, that's enough of that already." Caine added and as the other five players all started laughing at that. "I take you hear that remark once too often right now?" Weine asked with a slight smile and the quartet nodded to him as the sextet went to a second demonstration.

"Or this." Billy said pushing Alex and he pushed him him back and it started going back and forth and Murnau stepped in. "Alright boys that's enough of that already." he said and Lewton added on to it. "Watch the arm, you broke your shoulder last year, land the wrong way you could break it a second time." she said and Alex nodded as he stopped.

"You guys always like this with each other?" Shreck asked to that response and they nodded smiling. "Standard debate here at the moment, but thats us, the joking matter and though our parents and teachers find it funny. It's the other that starts trying their patience, between us and Carter, so watch out." Billy said and the trio nodded gently.

"Todd brought the heat down and she added on to his remark and he tries to provoke him, never worked, so he's stuck under scrutiny no matter what he says right now. But where being a teacher is concerned we got the kids for 6 to 8 hours a day, now. So on those hours in class or during practice during the seasons, now we're the parent."

"Until they head home from school or practice every day, Eric when the boys are on away games outside of Mount Abraham. He's responsible for the boys so as a result we're used to this, new students every year. I've been teaching at the high school since the kids were 2." Murnau said and he nodded as he got it then as Weine said it to that gently.

"Acting the parent with your students and technically Alex is mine later on." Weine said and Murnau nodded. "Yeah exactly, but then issues with two teenagers once it starts be as stern as you can get, because I had to prevent him from attacking him. By standing between them when the guards were there." he said and Weine nodded firmly to that.

"Just go with the first name starting now, with me and in Max's case, as we're sticking around town in the precinct for a while until this comes to an end." Weine said and the adult members of the town all nodded. "At the moment I got nothing left tonight, Sir." he said and Clear pulled him closer to her at that as the quintet nodded gently to him.

"How much energy did you drain earlier?!" Lewton said quickly at that. "The adrenaline surge from the explosion crashed right after I realized I got hit a bit ago. But between that and the attack after I came out of it, every bit of energy I had, when we arrived. It's been completely drained, I got nothing left, if this was a normal trip at the moment."

"I would be fine tomorrow, but right now, I'm exhausted at the moment." he said and the quartet nodded quickly. "I'm in your cabin, and I can keep an eye on this, but young lady let me know if you guys need anything now." The doctor said to her and she nodded. "The four of us are keeping an eye out, but let me know if there is trouble later on that."

"Guys, Clear, Terri stay close to him, before he collapses a second time on us." Murnau said quickly and the quartet nodded to the orders then. "We go in first so he can get settled, but you stick close to him, if he was up all night, I'm not taking chances." Lewton said sharply and they nodded as Weine exchanged looks with her with a sigh at that.

"I get why, but you shouldn't even be up this soon after a close call like this right now anyway, son, your body is starting to heal. But your iron levels are dangerously low, like in a girl it takes a week of iron tablets to replenish that level. And like your double, what you don't need is getting into a fight this soon after an injury like this right now, kiddo."

"Though he attacks you again and he's getting arrested, this time by us." Weine said resting his hand on his shoulder then and he nodded, hiding a smile. He saw a look of paternal love in his eyes towards him and he hid a nod then. In knowing the bond between them was starting to develop now, as the doctor hid a smile then gently

"Loss of that much blood I'm not surprised right now, it takes a week to heal from that right now, but combining that with an alnighter. It's going to take the entire week to heal from this, son, but with that in mind and I'm on a 2 week tour in Paris. I can handle this, so you're my patient starting now till we all get back." the doctor said and they nodded.

"One thing is for sure is that Larry and I are not letting you out of our sight while we're there, but once we get settled at the hotel. You're resting between sight seeing, and don't give me any trouble about taking your medication when it comes time to take it. But tonight now, with you this drained, you're resting once on the plane now."

"Once we get on board, you're getting some sleep buster, and I don't want any argument right now." Lewton said to that and he nodded to her gently. "I hope you got a safe spot on the plane for medical areas right now, he needs to sleep this off." Caine said and Harrison nodded, as the doctor took a bottle of valium and broke the pill in half then.

As he put 5 pills in a baggie and then put the last into the bag and wrote down the instructions to them. Before pulling a second bottle of iron tablets out and yanked 30 out and gave it to Caine who nodded to him. "Half before bed and the second right as it's time for lights out Eric, the iron is 3 times a day." he said and they nodded to the orders.

"Got it and I'll take care of it." Clear said as she looked at Alex then softly. "That level lost it's going to take 9 days to heal from it right now, but infection now. Is something I'm still worried about so with that in mind." Hanson said as he pulled two more bottles out and removed 6 days worth from each bottle and wrote down the instructions then.

"Which of you is in charge of his portion of your group?" he asked and Lewton answered that question. "I am, Colonel." she said and he nodded. "Yes alright, then you better check on him if there is a set of dorms you set up for your trip to Paris now. If your his guardian during the trip." he said giving her the medication bags then and she nodded.

"Carter's part of my portion of the group, but we're paired up in 20 students each, so I'm exchanging him for Janie, and he goes to Eric. Just so I can insure Alex heals from this without interference right now, after examining this more carefully. Alex said he was never going to Eric to report him, he's delirious." she said and they nodded sternly then.

"Alex never did anything, he just attacked him for no damn reason, the assault and battery charge got thrown in there. But we just added the under intoxicification charge to it, reckless endangerment and disturbing the peace. So he built up some hefty charges with the cops so you're up, Wes." Harrison said and he nodded sternly to that news.

'That's enough of this crap already, Alex needs me at the moment, but the kids need us, the bond snapped into place. Their our recruits and you guys may stay friends, you got some added back up as we deal with this now, if it starts getting dangerous. But regarding this now, I got to make a fast recommenation to our supervisor later."

"We just added ourselves to your law enforcement to know you guys, but Carter is stuck under scrutiny and until further notice in our eyes. What I can say is that I'm requesting to my supervisor, that we get transferred to Mount Abraham now. We're staying as long as possible now, but if you two need me, I'm staying." he said and the couple nodded.

Looking at him in relief at the news, she knew he was beyond worried as they kept a connection between them open. "Helping you guys keep an eye on the kids just came into it, but this entire situation just took that edge. Carter blew his first impression on us, so though he says he had nothing to do with it, I'm not taking chances right now here."

"Is everything you're telling me completely accurate, because I need everything to make sure we don't have trouble tonight, son." he said and Alex nodded, looking at Carter then, he saw his skin turn dangerously pale then and drenched in sweat. "Oh no." he said and Weine turned to him. "What now?" Hawkins asked and he said it under his breath.

"We all know what happens when you take in too much, looks like he crossed the limit between drunk and needing a trip to E.R., to get his stomach pumped. But he looks sick to his stomach, going on a guess, he skipped dinner or never bothered to grab a snack. Before boarding the plane." he said and Ryan turned to get a good look at the other boy.
