"Are you sure you're alright staying here?" Alois asks "didn't you want to see your brother?"
"Yeah but I'm sure he's fine" Rose replies
Alois and Rose were sitting in his study, he was looking through documents as she sat in a chair reading beside him.
"Oh right" Alois takes Rose's book "we're going to be having a costume party, I've invited your brother as well" he smirks a bit
Rose looks happy "really? Ciel's coming?"
"..yes" Alois replies holding back an annoyed tone, seeing Rose get so excited to see her bother made him jealous even if they were only siblings. Ciel would be the only one in this world that could take Rose away from him
"thank you" Rose hugs him
"of course" Alois rubs her head "anything for my princess"
Rose is in her room getting dressed when their's a knock on her door.
"I'm changing!" Rose shouts
"Young miss it's me" she hears Hannah's voice on the other side of the door
"oh come in" Rose says
Hannah opens the door and walks in, she closes the door behind her "I'm here to help you get ready"
Rose notices a small cut on Hannah's forehead "What happened?" she points to it
"I just hit my head on something that's all" Hannah told her quite nervously
"...alright then" Rose says worriedly
Hannah helps Rose change into her costume, then does her hair and makeup.
"Young miss you're so beautiful" Hannah complements
Rose looks into a mirror "you think so?"
Hannah nods happily
At the party, everyone is in fancy dress, and having a good time. Back at the party, the triplets are attending to the guests and Bard, Finny and Mey-Rin all decide that they should help. Baldroy uses his sword (part of his costume) to cut the food, resulting in cutting the table in half. Finny tried to carry a box of drinks and drops it and spills them over a rug, and Mey-Rin is trying to carry plates with her usual consequences.
The triplets spring into action. One of them replaces the broken table and puts out a new spread of food, one of them clears up the spilled drinks and replaced the rugs and the other one catches the plates before they smash. They all move so swiftly it's almost inhuman.
"Thank you guys" Rose says walking over to the triplets, she then turns to her 3 servants "Still as clumsy as ever I see"
"Young miss!" Mey-Rin, Finny, and Bard shout as they all hug her
"too tight" Rose whines and they let go of her
"Young miss where have you been?" Mey-Rin asks "so much has happened"
"It's been two years we thought you'd be back in months" Finny adds
"We've all missed you" Bard tells her
Rose smiles "I've missed you all too, where's Ciel?"
"the young master is somewhere around here" Mey-Rin replies looking around
Rose walked around the party looking for Alois or Ciel or the triplets or Claude. She couldn't find any of them. She sighs and drinks some punch.
"ROOOOOSSSIIIIIIIIEEEEEE"
Rose turned around as she got tacked by a hyper blonde she knew well "L-Lizzy"
"Oh I'm so happy to see you, you've been gone so long, Ciel lost his memory, and-"
"Ciel lost his memory!" Rose shouts
"yes" Lizzy looks at her "you didn't know?"
"...no" Rose looks sad "..did he forget, everything?"
"No no not everything" Lizzy waves her hands "just some recent stuff that happened, like he doesn't remember aunty Red died"
"..well... at least he didn't forget everything" Rose says
Hannah approaches the two "I'm sorry young miss, the young lord would like you to leave the party"
"What? Why?" Rose questions
"For your safety" Hannah replies taking her hand, she leads her out of the ballroom and into her room "please young miss stay in your room" Hannah leaves the room, closing the door behind her
"...what's goin on" Rose wonders worriedly
Rose opened the doors to her room and walked down the steps quietly. She heard music playing, a strange music. She peered inside the ballroom and gasps. Hannah was playing an armonica. All the guests were possessed by the music, rose being a demon wasn't affected.
"Hannah stop!" Rose shouts running over
"Young miss" Hannah says worridly then her eyes widened "..you're... not affected"
Sebastian and Ciel run to the house where Sebastian proceeds to play a glass harp. With the two songs overlapping, Hannah's song is muted out, giving a neutralizing effect on the guests. The armonica eventually explodes; the guests remember nothing and simply applaud at the great music.
"Ciel!" Rose shouts happily and runs to him
"R-Rosie" Ciel hugs her "You're ok, I was so worried about you. I.. I woke up and I had no idea where you were, Sebastian had to tell me you went on a mission. It's been 2 years you-"
"Attention everyone!" everyone looked over to see Alois on a stage "I am tonight's host Alois Trancy, the show you just saw was some entertainment I had prepared for you guests while I was away"
Everyone claps, Rose smiles while Ciel glares at Alois.
"Young master" Sebastian turns to Ciel "I would like to talk alone with Claude for a while"
"Alright but be quick" Ciel agrees
Sebastian bows before leaving
"You've grown up a lot" Ciel says as he turns back to Rose
"Of course silly, I won't remain a child forever" Rose giggles "demons can keep their youth as long as they want but I'd rather stop my aging when I'm more mature"
"If this is a costume party what are you, a queen?" Ciel questions as he checks the quality of the gown "hm this is really good"
"A princess" Rose tells him smiling "what are you, a pirate?"
"don't make fun of me you little brat" Ciel pinches her cheek "I'm still your older brother"
"yes yes I'm sorry big brother" Rose whines
Ciel chuckles and lets go of her cheek "You're still the same Rosie I know and love"
Claude and Sebastian appear back in the hall after 9 minutes. Ciel doesn't seem happy that Claude is safe and sound, but then Sebastian gives some documents revealing that the Trancy family was investigating the Phantomhives to Ciel.
"What is it?" Rose asks as she attempts to look at the documents
Ciel puts his hand on her head "nothing for a kid to worry about"
Music starts up again and people start dancing. Ciel looks up when he sees Alois and Claude walk over.
Ciel glares at him "Trancy you-"
"Hello you must be Ciel Phantomhive" Alois says nicely, he puts his arm around Rose's waist and pulls her to him
Ciel growls "Hey! You-"
"I am Alois Trancy" Alois smirks at Ciel "Rose's fiancé"
"that's right you two haven't met yet" Rose says looking between the two happily "Big brother Alois is my betrothed"
"...h-he's" Ciel took a step back
"That's right" Alois put his head against Rose's "I am her beloved betrothed" Alois let go of Rose's waist and held his hand out to her "now would you like to dance, my princess?"
"yes of course" Rose agrees happily taking his hand
Alois smirks at Ciel before taking Rose to the floor, happily dancing with her. Sebastian stares at the two with glowing red eyes.
"how dare he touch the young mistress" Sebastian says annoyed
Ciel growls and glares at Alois "I will kill him"
