It was a week after Dracula's death and the funeral was planned for the next night. Everybody kept themselves by assisting in Atlas and Mantle's rebuilding. However, it always ended with everyone crying themselves to sleep.
Because of the King's death, Willow Schnee-Tepes took over as the Queen of Atlas. It was hard for her to rule, but with assistance from General Ironwood and Weiss, she was able to make it through until the funeral.
They decided to have the funeral in Patch by leaving his sword at the cliff and let his ashes be blown into the wind. It was night time with the full moon shining down on the cliff. Willow held an urn filled with his ashes. She wore a black dress as did everyone else. The Atlas Military followed behind along with the Huntsman and Huntresses. Jaune held Dracula's Void Sword which did not glow blue anymore.
After Summer's return, they took the plaque off, now it would be replaced with Dracula's sword placed on to the dirt like a grave stone.
Jaune held the sword up before stabbing it down into the dirt.
Ruby placed a bouquet of red roses in front of the sword. She got another mechanical eye that shined like silver.
Winter placed a necklace on the hilt of the sword. It was the same that Dracula had given Team RWBY after their first match during the Vytal Tournament.
Hector placed a silver coin down while Isaac placed his knife down next to the coin.
Carmilla stepped forward and pulled one of her golden armbands off and placed on the handle of the sword.
Jaune held his acoustic guitar in his hands and he asked "Weiss, will you lead us off?" Weiss nodded and took a deep breath as Jaune strung the strings.
St. Marie by Stone Sour
Weiss: Oh July. It's better off since April died. I can see September through the trees, And I can't lie. There's more to know than what's inside. Maybe there's some reason in my memories, But all I know.
Willow held a bouquet of bloody white roses as tears dripped down her cheeks. Winter laid her hand on Qrow's shoulder as he had a hand around her shoulder.
Weiss: It's easier to love you when I'm gone, But it's hard for me to leave. I don't know... This anger isn't helping anyone, And I don't know what I need.
Weiss sang the chorus while bloody tears dripped down her cheeks though she kept her voice strong, to stop it from breaking. Everyone sang the title of the song.
Everyone: Oh St. Marie
Weiss: Close my eyes before you leave, So I don't have to look at you in shame
Everyone: Oh St. Marie
Weiss: Take my hand and give me peace, Cause I don't think I'll ever be the same
Blake stepped forward and sang the next part with tears in her eyes.
Blake: Here come the broken hearts, Just as the music starts. One by one they testify. I never did enough, I never cared enough. Even though I stood, I always ran away. We all wonder why, It's easier to blame the ones you love. Cause it's harder to believe, That we fall sometimes. No matter how I try, I've given up, But now I have a chance to be!
Qrow stepped forward and placed his flask on the ground.
Everyone: Oh St. Marie
Weiss: Close my eyes before you leave, So I don't have to look at you in shame
Everyone: Oh St. Marie
Weiss: Take my hand and give me peace, Cause I don't think I'll ever be the same.
Yang stepped forward next to Blake and intertwined her fingers with her. Her bloody tears dripped down her cheeks
Yang: Sometimes the quiet ones, Are all I want to be. There's only so much left. The rest is up to me. You're all I'll ever want! I hope you feel it 'cause, As far as I'm concerned, You're exactly what I need!
Everyone: Oh St. Marie
Weiss: Close my eyes before you leave, So I don't have to look at you in shame
Everyone: Oh St. Marie
Weiss: Take my hand and give me peace, Cause I don't think I'll ever be the same. Cause I don't think I'll ever be the same. Cause I don't think I'll ever be the same...
General Ironwood turned around to his soldiers and ordered "Present Arms!"
They stood in attention and held their rifles by the stock.
General Ironwood ordered "Present Volley!"
They aimed their rifles into the sky and fired the first volley. They fired the second volley before firing the final volley.
Willow stepped forward toward the edge and opened the urn and grabbed a handful of Dracula's ashes before throwing it into the wind.
Weiss stepped to the right of her mother and grabbed a handful before throwing it into the wind, watching it flow through the horizon.
Ruby walked next to Weiss and grabbed a handful of his ashes before throwing it out.
Blake stood to the left of Willow before grabbing a handful of Dracula's ashes and threw it into the wind.
Yang moved next to Blake and grabbed the last handful of ashes and tossed it into the wind. Willow dumped out the last of the ashes into the wind.
She sniffed and wiped her bloody tears away before placing the urn in front of the sword. Winter and Weiss hugged their mother as they watched the ashes flow through the wind current and even watched some birds fly in formation with the moon.
It took quite a few years for Willow to break out of her sadness. To her, Dracula was her hero. The one man that saved her from being a complete drunk. The one that breathed new life into her. She couldn't and wouldn't find a new husband to live with. Willow couldn't find it in herself to take care of Tepes Industries and handle Atlas and Mantle at the same time.
Blake and Yang traveled to Menagerie to start the Pack. A new police force governed by Menagerie, the official fifth Kingdom of Remnant. The Pack was sent to root out the last of the Blood Fang and aimed to undo the damage done by the White Fang and Blood Fang. Led by Yang and Blake as a symbol of equality and trust, they became a global force that promoted peace. Yang finally turned Blake into a vampire and thanks to some tutoring from Yang, Willow and Weiss, she became familiar and controlled her urges.
Willow gave Weiss complete control of Tepes Industries and put a bit of her finances into finding the rest of the Maidens. Weiss and Ruby became betrothed and Weiss also turned Ruby into a vampire. It took a while for her to get used to either taking a life to drink or become comfortable with the thought of drinking blood, but she became as comfortable as Weiss, Blake and Yang.
Team RWBY were now official vampires and a new Vampire Society was officially established. One that hid in the shadows and killed those who were recognized as a threat to Remnant.
Ilia and Scarlett went on a date after the funeral and they stayed together ever since. Scarlett graduated with top honors and went on with Ilia to explore the world and help villagers.
Ren and Nora stayed together and faced their demon at Kuroyuri with the help of Jaune and Pyrrha and slayed the Nuckelavee. They stayed together and traveled the world as licensed Huntsman and Huntresses. Jaune and Pyrrha are still together and plan on getting married next year in Argus, Pyrrha's hometown.
Carmilla stayed with Glynda and she turned her mate into a vampire as they continued to rebuild Vale and when it was finally repaired and people began to fill in Vale, Glynda took over as Headmistress and Glynda as her Deputy.
Amber made her way back to Beacon and found the Relic of Choice. The Summer Maiden was found after a year. She was persuaded to open the vault im Vacuo and Yang took the Relic of Destruction.
Winter grabbed the Relic of Creation while Gravity Dust was replaced to keep Atlas afloat.
The Relic of Knowledge was taken from Dracula's Vault. Weiss held the Relic of Knowledge, Winter held the Relic of Creation, Yang held the Relic of Destruction, and Amber held the Relic of Choice. Ruby, Blake, Oscar, James, Trevor, Alucard, Sypha, Qrow and Raven stood near.
After Salem's defeat, Ozpin revealed himself and was met with distrust, though he could not blame them. Ozpin was nervous with meeting the Brothers again.
The four relics were combined before releasing a yellow and purple beam that launched into space. Soon the two Brothers appeared before them.
"You have done it. You have succeeded in bringing the relics together and summoned us." The God of Light spoke as he looked at them. The Brother of Darkness looked at Oscar "Hello Ozma. It seems you completed your mission."
Ozcar looked at them "I hardly did anything. Dracula was the one to defeat Salem. His own daughter."
The Brother of Darkness scoffed "The Impaler. So he accepted death into his heart and returned."
"Indeed. However, now we decide if you're worthy of existing in this world. For the actions of all in this world will be taken into account." The Brother of Light said before looking far off, as did his brother. It was only thirty seconds but it felt like an eternity as everyone steadied themselves.
The Brother of Light looked down at them "We have judged you... And we have found you... Worthy of continuing to live." Everyone released a breath of relief but it was silenced by the Brother of Darkness saying sharply "However, because we have found you worthy, we will live amongst you, continuing to keep an eye on you all. We will know when the balance has been tipped."
Ruby stepped forward and the Brother of Light noted "Ruby Rose... A descendant of my power. Why do you approach us?" Ruby spoke "If it's all the same, we would prefer if you simply watched from afar. Instead of living here."
The Brother of Darkness growled "Insolent child! You dare demand from your creators!?" The God of Light looked at his younger brother "Peace Brother, I wish to hear her out."
Ruby said "We've been here for years without you two in here. And truth be told, we've done fine without you. Yes, there is still bad in this world, but that's how you've created us. You gave us the choice to build or destroy. You can't judge us because of how you made us. We're fine if you watch over us, but I think it's better if you simply stayed as myths. Leave it to us to make things better."
The Brother of Light asked "You have the blood of Dracul. You are a vampire like him. You're not a creature we've created. Why should we let you decide and let you be the one to protect this world?"
Ruby glared at him but Blake answered "Because we've evolved beyond the need for deities. We've evolved to take care of the problem. To face it ourselves. To rely on each other when we're at our lowest."
The Two Brothers pondered her words when Ozcar approached "Salem is gone. She no longer plagues this world. I believe they are allowed that much for their hard work."
The God of Light was motionless before nodding "Very well. As I promised, you will be reunited with your beloved. Say your goodbyes, Ozma."
Ozcar looked at everyone "I know I've lied to you all and lead you all to your possible deaths. After so long, I've forgotten my humanity. But because of Oscar... Ruby... All of you, I found it again. I've made many regrets... But being your headmaster... Teaching you to fight the Grimm, will never be a regret. I'm proud of you all. I'm afraid this is goodbye."
Ozpin was lifted from Oscar's body to reveal him as his original body, Ozma. He smiled at them all "Thank you." before closing his eyes and faded into nothing. Oscar watched him fade and felt free.
The God of Light and God of Darkness spoke in unison "Very well. We will continue to leave this world alone. However, rest assure we will watch over this world."
Trevor stepped forward "I do have one request. I'd like to be taken back to my world. Though still be able to communicate with Remnant." Sypha agreed "Yes, as much as we enjoyed living here, our real calling is on Earth. There's so much for us to do."
Alucard agreed "I'd still like to talk with my new family, even though we are on a different world." The brothers nodded and looked at Isaac and Hector
"And what of you? Will you stay or be returned to your world?" The God of Light questioned to which Isaac answered "I tolerate humanity much more here, so I wish to stay." Hector spoke "As will I."
The God of Light created a portal for Trevor, Alucard and Sypha. "This will take you back to your world. You will have a mirror given to you that will allow you to communicate with those you wish in this world."
They exchanged hugs with everyone before walking through the portal to find their own adventures.
The Brothers looked at them "Goodbye." Before launching themselves through the skies, appearing as a yellow star and a purple star.
Dracula opened his eyes to find himself in an empty white void. He stood up and looked around "Where am I?"
"You are in between realms." A familiar voice spoke from behind. Dracula turned around to find himself face to face with a man with black hair in a black suit. Dracula asked "Who are you?"
The stranger simply smiled "I'm Monty." Dracula could feel immense power coming from Monty so he asked "Are you a god?" Monty released a little laugh "I suppose that's one way to look at it. To put it bluntly, I was the one who created the idea of Remnant and more specifically, RWBY."
Dracula's eyes widen. "You created everything... Even the brothers themselves." Monty shrugged "Yeah. I did."
Dracula asked "Why am I here?" Monty walked towards Dracula before bringing the King in for a hug. Surprising him and hesitantly hugging Monty back. "I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for helping to make the world more special."
Dracula said "Everything you've created was your own. I had no part in it." Monty simply smiled "Vlad, you helped make their world special. You made Willow's life meaningful. You gave Salem the peace she deserved. You've done so much for them. I wanted to thank you. Thank you for helping them."
Dracula came close to bloody tears "What will happen to them?" Monty simply patted his shoulder "They're going to live. Live their life the way they wish. But as for you, you may be dead, but your spirit lives on. This is just one of many lives you've lived. However, yours is the most special. so I'm offering you a place as a Deity of the Universe."
Dracula's eyes widen as he looked at the young creator in shock. Monty smiled at his expression "Yeah, it's crazy but I think you more than earned it. As a bonus, I can let you watch over RWBY with me. Watch them fall in love, fight the Grimm, save the world repeatedly."
Dracula contemplated this offer before looking at Monty and nodded "OK. I'll join, but... If it's OK... I wish for Willow to watch it over with me." Monty smiled and clapped his back "I can do that."
Willow appeared in the realm and gasp as she looked around before her eyes settled on Dracula. She ran forward and hugged her husband tightly. "I thought I lost you forever..."
Dracula held her "Never again."
Willow was introduced to Monty and accepted to watch over Remnant with him and Dracula. Though she was worried about the throne to Atlas. Monty explained that it's been taken care. For Weiss along with Ruby would rule over Atlas.
With that, Monty, the creator of RWBY led the King and Queen of Vampires to a wooden door.
