And with that mindset on, he kept playing it off as he could hear two pairs of footsteps inside the room, one was to the other side of the room and the second extremely close to him, almost like she was watching him.
He gently opened his eyelids as he could see her legs, and at that moment she turned around and with her back in front of him, he snapped up and grabbed her in a chokehold as he grabbed his pistol and aimed it at the second Infiltrator.
"My my, is that how you treat a lady these days" his hostage said as she turned her head, it was Felicity.
He looked at the other person and noticed it was anaiel, he sighed and let her go before he holstered his pistol.
"What the hell are you doing here?"
"Didn't I tell you we'd pay you a visit?" Felicity replied "Fair point, I guess?... How did you convince the guards to let you in though?"
"You don't have to convince anyone if they don't see you" she said tapping her head with her index finger as she made a smug smile.
"You mean to tell me you sneaked all the way to here?"
"I tried to dissuade her, but you know how stubborn she is" anaiel said "Don't get me wrong yulil, they're doing a good job guarding against sangvis Ferri, but military tdolls like us is another story" Felicity added with a smirk Felicity and anaiel turned their attention after that towards Intruder.
"Nice catch, surprised you got her alive yulil" anaiel said.
"Congratulations, I was afraid you'd try to capture her and get yourself killed, but I'm guessing it all went smoothly since you're asleep in the same room as her" felicity said "Thanks, but it's not that good, her memories from before the incident are all erased, actually... I don't think they're erased, I think they're somewhat blocked, anyway let's go to my office."
And with that done the trio headed for yulil's office not before yulil locked the door behind them.
"So how do you like your new job?" Felicity asked.
"I like it, it's not that bad... The girls here are nice too"
Anaiel threw him a look of disappointment "Not nice in that sense you little devil, I mean they're interesting to talk to, well some of them need a serious punishment for not respecting their superiors, ah but I guess that's their way to show that they like me huh?"
"Hehe, you'll get used to it don't worry"
"Like I got used to you?"
"Maybe" she replied with a wink.
They finally arrived at his office as yulil could hear a faint voice inside, slowly opened the doorto find grizzly's back, sitting on the guest chair, writing.
He gestured to anaiel and Felicity to not make any noise as he slowly creeped behind her.
When he reached her back he heard her mumbling.
"damn yulil making me write his report when I should be sleeping... he better reward me after this... Heheh~ I wouldn't mind a -"
"More cake?" He replied.
Grizzly snapped towards him before she exhaled deeply and held her heart.
"Why do you do this to me, why!" she said while pouting.
"Hahah sorry it was just too good to pass, so what did you want as a reward? Another cake?"
"Wait y-you heard what I was saying?"
"Yeah"
"Y-y-yes t-that what I meant, a cake" she said as he noticed that her face started going red, he kept laughing at her as Felicity and anaiel got curious and entered the room.
"Looks like you two are having fun without us, not nice" Felicity said as grizzly got confused at the new faces.
"Ah yes, you don't know them, this is Felicity and this is anaiel, they're good friends of mine" he said as he pointed to each of them when he mentioned their respective names.
"Delighted to meet you miss grizzly, thanks for easing yulil's job" Felicity said "Nice to meet you too grizzly" anaiel added "Pleasure to finally meet the ones who almost shot my commander" grizzly said.
"So... What were you doing grizzly?"
"Ah yes... Writing your report for kruyger of yesterday's operation, almost done"
"Ah, my thanks. you're really saving my hide, but don't you think it's a bit of a bad idea to do this at... 3 am " he said as he checked his watch "You're welcome and don't worry about it, I got used to you pushing your work to me" she replied with a stern look "Not cool man, not cool" anaiel said as she crossed her arms.
"My my, I didn't think you'd become this merciless" Felicity added.
"First of all you agreed to become my adjutant, second of all you two are basically trespassing, so I could shoot you right now if I wanted to, third of all... Y'all are mean" he said as the trio laughed at him.
"Sure sure, anyway I think I'll finish your report tomorrow morning... Take care of yourselves" "Ah I'll come with you grizzly, I've got plenty of secrets about yulil if you wanna hear 'em" anaiel said as she winked to yulil.
"Yes I do!" She replied as the duo headed outside his office.
"Ugh, those two..." He said as he scratched his head while leaning on his desk, Felicity sat on his desk beside him.
He started getting uneasy as the silence went on, especially since Felicity wasn't the kind to make the atmosphere awkward... but this time she just sat there beside him, staring at the ground.
"Ehm, well. I'll go back to sleep now" As he wanted to go Felicity grabbed his arm.
"Stay...just for a second."
"Alright..."
"You know... I didn't want to look weak Infront of anaiel but..." She said as she started sniffing, still staring at the ground.
"I missed you so much... I thought you were gone" she added as she gripped his side really tightly while slowly resting her head on his shoulder.
"When I saw your face, I just... Couldn't believe my eyes... I remembered the good ol' days, just me, you, anaiel and laylah, taking care of the shelter, yelling at anaiel for doing the usual dumb things she does... When we heard the news... And...and when we saw your name on that cursed list..."
He noticed that she started crying when he felt drops of water falling on his leg.
"You know what'll happen if you do this again right?" She said finally looking at him in the eyes as she pinched his side.
"Yes ma'am"
"Good...good... We should head back now or they'll notice..."
"Don't tell me you ran away from your base?"
"Well yes I did... Ah don't worry about it, my squadmates aren't snitches, anyway let's meet another time and ... Do not die again" she said with a stern look as he gave her a salute, after that Felicity vanished and yulil stayed inside his office for a bit before he headed towards intruder's cell.
He opened it, entered and locked it then put back the key outside.
"Had fun with those two?" She said as he noticed that she was awake.
"Ah, they scared the hell out of me those two, I thought they were sangvis Ferri"
"Heh, I don't think anyone will come, rest easy. we barely could fight the military let alone infiltrate the protected zone... By the way, I forgot to ask for your name"
"Ah, it's yulil"
As he replied, intruder felt a sharp electrocution in her head, she held her head with her hands as yulil said.
"Hey, you're okay intruder?"
"Y-yeah...I'm... I'm okay, tell me more about us please"
"Haha, you're being pretty nice compared to yesterday... Alright alright don't look at me like that" he said as intruder gave him a mixed look of disgust and anger.
"Well, I was a sangvis Ferri commander, I commanded you alongside a bunch more tdolls, we had a lot of good memories together, we fought together, laughed together, suffered together"
"Heh, never pictured myself acting like that alongside a human, and who were the other tdolls you commanded?"
"Well, in sangvis Ferri I was like one of the top commanders so I had a lot of troops, and I bet most of my troops are the other ringleaders"
"Do you by any chance know a friend of mine... Alchemist?"
"Wait don't tell me... she's a ringleader as well?!"
"Yes she is hahah"
"Oh man... I always avoided getting on her bad side, now look at this..." He desperately said as intruder kept laughing at him.
"Do you know any of the other ringleaders?" He asked her "Ah yes the-"
"Don't tell me yet..."
"Why?"
"I need to make sure you're useful to us so the military or kruyger won't take you away from me, huh sounds like I've got a ton of work ahead" "Never thought I'd be protected by a human" she said as she looked at the floor.
"How about being protected by a friend?" He said with a smile "Hehe, yeah I can settle with that"
"Let's go back to sleep now, I've got a long day tomorrow"
"You can go back to your room yulil. I won't escape. I promise." She said with a warm smile.
He nodded and headed back to his room, he could feel that she meant what she said, ah but he was more focused on sleeping since his eyelids felt like boulders.
The following day kalina sent M16 to wake the commander up since he was nowhere to be found, M16 got lazy but eventually gave in, she reached his room and took a deep inhale before knocking on his room.
She knocked three times before she got impatient at the lack of answer, she gently opened the door.
"Hey commander, it's time for work"
She turned the lights of his room before she noticed he was still in bed sleeping on his back, as she got closer to him she noticed that he was sweating profusely, and had an expression on his face like he was having a war within himself.
"Hey wake up man... Dude!" She said as she started slowly shaking him.
He snapped up as he grabbed a knife under his pillow, putting it on M16's neck, he was so fast she didn't even have the time to realise what was going on until he put the knife on her throat, and as he was close to he face She could notice a faint yellow colour in his eyes... it almost looked like the yellow colour was moving around his brown pupils, it was really odd to say the least but she didn't want to ask him yet...
He sighed and dropped the knife on the bed.
"Really sorry M16... Had a nightmare" he said as he held his head with both hands "Yeah... I could clearly see that, you're okay?"
"Ah I'll survive, why are you inside my room though?"
"Got forced by kalina to wake you up, she needs you about some urgent stuff, and like it's 10am dude wake up already"
"Yeah yeah, thanks."
"No problems, if you need me I'll probably be with M4"
And with that M16 exited his room while he got up and started to get ready for yet another day at Griffin and kruyger.
When he was ready he went to the cafe where he found Springfield by the counter.
He sat down and spoke up "G'morning Springfield, slept well?"
"Just like usual, what about you commander?"
"Likewise, can I get a cup of coffee please?"
"Of course!"
After Springfield prepared his coffee she handed it to him as she continued the conversation.
"So, had any luck with our guest?"
"Ah yes, she didn't remember me but I managed to convince her and somewhat gain her trust, I feel like the virus didn't delete their memories, but rather blocked them... Good for us" he said as he took a sip.
"Good job, I'm sure Mr kruyger will be pleased, and might perhaps give you a raise" she said with a wink "Heh, wouldn't mind one to be honest."
And as he said that the door of the cafe opened as kalina stormed inside.
"There you are!" "Oh lord have mercy..." He muttered as Springfield chuckled.
"Do you think we pay you to oversleep huh?" She said as she pushed his cheek with her finger.
"Cmon, I captured a damn ringleader, can't I deserve some sleep"
"Oh! Talking about her, Mr kruyger and a military general are coming today"
"Heh, I did expect the military to come, but not this early."
"Well this is the first time someone captured a ringleader so they're interested to say the least, and kruyger is also very pleased so~"
"Yeah yeah, just notify me when they reach parabellum please"
"You got it boss" she said as she left the cafe.
He sighed and took another sip of his coffee "Looks like someone is tired and it's not even noon" m590 said as she sat beside him.
"Good morning to you too 590"
"Hey Springfield can I get a black coffee?"
"Alright coming right up"
"So, what got you all down in the dumps commander?"
"just tired from yesterday's operation I guess"
"Ah well, you are human after all, please do take care of your body"
"Of course mother"
Both chuckled as they took a sip from their coffee.
"So got anything useful from the ringleader?... Intruder right?"
"Yeah that's her name, got what I needed... not what I wanted" he said with a sigh.
"I'm guessing it's worse than you expected?"
"Yeah actually, they don't even remember me, they don't even know why they're killing humans, they're just doing what they're told to do... Perfect soldiers" he said as he smirked to himself "Don't worry commander, take it step by step, now you need to worry about making intruder talk, then you can think about the others"
"Yeah you're probably right, and the military is coming too, those pricks ..."
"Hahaha, an ex soldier who hates the military I wonder why~"
"Don't get wrong, I love the military, but since I'm working for a PMC I despise them, they always like to be nosy on what we're doing"
"Well... You're not wrong now that I think about it"

And so yulil went around the base wondering what he'll do for today, he first went to check on his shotgun and cleaned it through and through.
He did the same with his pistol, from the barrel, receiver, slide ect ect.
It was a lengthy and tiring process but like he always said take care of your weapon and it'll take care of you After the cleaning process yulil holstered his pistol back and put the shotgun away.
As he was passing by the firing range indoors he noticed that all of ar-team was there, taking shots.
He went to try and compete against them.
"Hello there, having fun?" He said to attract their attention "Oh! Commander it's been a while!" Sop said enthusiastically "Good morning commander" ar15 said "A-ah, hello commander" M4 added "What's up, coming here to compete against us?" M16 uttered with a confident smile.
"That's exactly my attention, you girls are pretty good, but I wanna push y'all to the limit, how about that?"
"Well let's go to the reaction time room then"ar15 said "Oh yeah, that'd be better"
And with that the 4 tdolls alongside yulil entered the room, it was similar to the shooting range but only had one booth, the targets were dispersed around the range, as you shoot down a target another will automatically stand up.
"I'll go first" ar15 said.
Ar 15 stood in front of the booth as she readied her weapon, 30 rounds to spend and 30 targets to shoot down.
As the light went a target on the left side popped up and ar15 reflexively aimed at it shooting it down, the little test continued until she exhausted all her rounds Ar-15: 15.1 Seconds all targets hit M4 was next as she readied herself, she checked her weapon and pulled the bolt, green light M4: 16.5 seconds all targets hit "My turn my turn!"
SopII:16.1 seconds all targets hit "Let me show you all how real professionals handle it"
M16a1 16.3 seconds all targets hit "Alright alright, nice scores you've all got, ah I guess by your looks it's my turn... M16 mind borrowing your weapon for the test?"
"Sure, catch" she said as she threw him her gun.
He grabbed it and checked the chamber, it was loaded he swapped the magazine, turned the safety off and gripped the rifle tightly while getting into a shooting stance.
As the lights went green he started taking out the targets one by one.
They slowly started noticing that his reaction time was fast... Too fast.
Yulil tapferkeit: 13.7 seconds all targets hit "Woohoo, that's what I'm talking about, now where are your smug smiles huh?"
"Yeah yeah congratulations for nothing, stop acting all high and mighty and give me my gun."M16 said, feeling a bit hurt as she was sure she'd be the winner, or at least behind ar 15.
Yulil suddenly got notified that his boss and the military general will reach the base at any moment.
"Ah well gotta go now girls, take care" yulil said as he exited the shooting range.
"Hey, M16... Wasn't that weird?" 15 said "What was?"
"It almost felt like he knew the exact targets that were going to stand, he started aiming at them before I could even see them stand up"
"I know right? You think he rigged the game?"
"See that's the problem, the targets are completely random, so it's impossible to know which one will stand"
"It almost felt like he was in slow motion"
"Exactly... Jesus, he's a real mystery..."
Yulil headed in front of the complex inside the base as he waited for the military convoy to arrive.
After enjoying one cigarette he could see that the convoy arrived, yulil notified the guards and let them In, the convoy was composed of 3 military grade Humvees.
They stopped in front of yulil as 3 people disembarked from the humvee.
Kruyger, an old man wearing a coat presumably the general and a man in his late 40s, maybe his bodyguard yulil thought.
"Ah, Mr yulil congratulations on the success of your operation" kruyger said as he shook yulil's hands, he looked happy that yulil got a ringleader, it should help with increasing the reputation and credibility of Griffin and kruyger within the military, after that yulil shook hands with the general and his bodyguard and decided to continue talking in his office.
As they entered the office yullil sat at his desk and kruyger, the general sat on the guest chairs, the bodyguard stayed outside.
"So this is the commander you've been talking about huh?"
"Yes, our newest commander. And the one who captured the first ringleader"
"It's a pleasure to meet you son, my name is carter. General carter."
"Carter huh?, I met someone with that name when we were at wa-" yulil stopped talking... thinking that carter didn't know that yulil was more than 60 years old.
"What do you mean? The last war didn't happen since around 40 years ago and you look 30 years old if I'm not wrong"
"Ah... General... I forgot to tell you something" kruyger said "And what might that be, mr kruyger?"
"The commander here is... Well... He's as old as you, he was cryogenically frozen for 30 years, he was actually born in 2000"
The general slowly pinched his nose.
"Kruyger... Why do you never tell me important things like this"
"Hahah I'm sorry old friend I didn't think you needed to know that"
"Wait... You said you met someone with the same name, who was that person?"
"Ah I don't remember, I met an enemy soldier and helped him escape when I was clearing out a city, his name was carter"
As the general heard yulil he bursted laughing before coughing violently.
"I can't believe it... I've finally met you again, my saviour"
"Wait you're THAT carter?!"
"Correct"
"Looks like you two know each other already" kruyger said, confused at the conversation.
"Well, without your commander here, I would've been dead long ago, I still meant what I said that day... If you need anything I'm here."
"Thanks a lot general, anyway let's get into what you're all here for"
"Did you interrogate her Commander?" Carter asked "In a way yes, I've gained her trust for now, she doesn't remember anything before the incident, nor does she remember the incident itself"
"Can we see her?"
Yulil scratched his head thinking if it's a good idea "Don't worry, my bodyguard will protect us in case she tries something dangerous"
"Alright but be quick with your questions, I'll bring her here"
And with that yulil headed for intruder's makeshift cell.
"Hey there you're alright?"
"Yeah... Having tons of fun, alone"
"I can imagine...The military is here and they want to see you" intruder twitched a bit.
"Don't worry, I'm here... Nothing will happen just don't do anything stupid... You trusted me yesterday and nothing happened, now I need you to trust me again okay intruder?"
"...alright... My life is in your hands" she said with a smile "Good girl" he said as he opened her cell and escorted her back to his office.
His tdolls kept looking at her with looks of hatred and killing intent, even though she felt uneasy she knew that yulil would protect her, which made her chuckle a bit.
Carter's bodyguard wasn't outside, he probably got inside yulil thought.
As he opened the door and both got inside carter's bodyguard noticed Intruder and immediately picked up his pistol and aimed it at her.
Yulil protected her with his body as he got Infront of her and gave carter's bodyguard a warning look "Yegor, it's okay, at ease"
"You're in danger sir" yegor said with a deep voice.
Yegor walked slowly towards the pair as he kept his pistol aimed at intruder.
As he got close enough yulil quickly grabbed his pistol and punched him in the throat, yegor fell on his back holding his throat while coughing as yulil acquired his pistol.
"We don't point weapons at each other in my base" he said while turning the safety on "point it again and I won't be so merciful"
Yulil threw the pistol at yegor as he got up and headed outside.
"Sorry for my hot-headed bodyguard yulil, he's just being cautious"
"It's alright, I should be the one to apologize... Anyway sit down on my chair intruder."
Intruder slowly got away from yulil's back and sat on his chair, facing kruyger, carter and yulil who was standing up.
"So this is a ringleader huh... Never thought I'd be this close to one" kruyger said as he scratched his beard.
"What's your name?" Carter asked.
Yulil slowly nodded his head at intruder.
"Model SP914, callsign intruder"
"Why are you killing humans?"
"I... Don't know..." Intruder said as she looked to the ground.
Carter turned to yulil and looked at him, yulil shrugged.
"Interesting..." Kruyger said.
"Let's ask a better question, would you kill us three if you had the chance to?" Carter asked.
Intruder thought about it all night, why was she so bloodthirsty, why did her mind thought about killing humans, was that why she was made? She was sure about it, a machine made to kill humans, a machine made to do only that... however, when she looked at yulil, that thought slowly sapped away.
"I...no...unless my life was in danger."
The answer surprised kruyger and carter as yulil noticed their wide eyes.
"What about before you got captured? Would you kill us if you met us before?" Kruyger asked "Yes"
"Then why the sudden change?" Carter added.
Intruder looked around until she made eye contact with yulil, he smiled at her and she slowly looked away.
"I don't know... Maybe I've finally realised that I've been lied to... Maybe humans aren't so bad, maybe we're the evil... I don't know anymore"
"Interesting indeed...Well, that aside, are you willing to cooperate with us to defeat sangvis Ferri?"
"...yes.." she slowly muttered.
Kruyger and carter looked at each other before they both got up "Alright I got what I wanted, thanks for having me, yulil" carter said "Heh, I thought you'd at least try and take her prisoner"
Carter chuckled and said "I'm sure she'll cooperate better with you than with us... Tdolls are so bizarre"
"Just like us"
"Yeah I presume you're right, anyway. Take care commander and let's meet again" "Like wise, general"
"it's carter, that's the benefits of being my saviour" carter said as both chuckled Finally carter and kruyger exited the office and headed for their convoy.
"Did I do good yulil?" Intruder said, making yulil turn around "Yeah, we're lucky It was carter... Anyway I thought about it for a while... And well, with your answers to today's questions, I've got a deal for you"
"Oh god... What is it now?
"How about you join us?"
Intrude bit her lip as she looked around, joining him would mean fighting her friends.
"Don't worry, I'm not gonna kill our old friends, I'll try to capture them alive just like i did to you"
Intruder sighed and smiled "Oh I know, I know... Yes I accept"
"Awesome... Welcome aboard, intruder"
"Let's build up the old gang shall we?"
