Meanwhile….

"Ah! I can't believe we made it!" Porcoline stepped out of the airship and kissed the ground. "Mwah, mwah!"

"Yes, I'm surprised we made it out alive myself. Leon took a hand and smoothed his wind blown hair.

"Come, we'd better hurry to the castle." Vishnal told them.

Zig-zagging their way through the capital, the three finally made their way to the grand entrance of the castle. Vishnal had only been here once before and every time he saw the capital's castle, it took his breath away. By talking to the right people, they managed to get inside. Vishnal did most of the talking and showed his Selphia butler's license. Finally, he saw the head of someone familiar.

"Mr. Volkanon!" He yelled. Volkanon turned around, shocked.

"My, Leon, Porcoline, and Vishnal! What are you all doing here?!" Vishnal explained the situation. "We must tell Arthur immediately! Please excuse me for a moment." As quick as a whistle, Volkanon disappeared into the next room leaving the three other Selphia residents to wait for his return.

"Pardon me, Prince Arthur," Volkanon politely said to the Prince. Arthur was sitting at a desk among piles and piles of papers lost in thought. He groaned, scribbling something down on a piece of paper.

"Ahem," Volkanon grunted loudly.

"Ah, Volkanon, nice to see you. I'm so sorry, I completely lost track of time, were we supposed to meet about something?" Arthur took his teacup in hand and walked to the front of his desk next to Volkanon.

"No, it seems that Miss Frey has began the process of giving birth your child. Vishnal, Leon, and Porcoline flew the airship here themselves to come get you on her behalf.

CRASH!

Arthur lost his grip on his tea cup and it shattered into many tiny pieces on the floor.

"She- she…the baby?" Arthur turned white.

"Prince Arthur?" Volkanon asked again.

"Volkanon, we have to go now! I can't miss this! I'm going to go get my things! Go tell the King for me! I'll meet you at the airship dock!" Arthur yelled. They both nodded to each other and went their separate ways.

After a little while, Volkanon met up with the others and shouted, "Come, men, to the airship!" And ran off in the direction of the docks. The others didn't question and followed him. Arthur came running up behind them.

"Hello, everyone, thank you for coming to get me. Now, let's go! Full speed ahead!" He shouted to Volkanon. Volkanon manned the controls and said "Aye, aye, sir!"

"Oh, here we go again!" Porcoline gripped the side of the airship as they took off.

A soon as they landed, Arthur abandoned his things and started running towards the castle.

"Good luck, Prince Arthur!" Volkanon shouted and waved.

"Aren't we going with him?" Vishnal asked.

"No, my boy, now all we can do is wait. This is their time now. WAHHH!" Volkanon's tears rushed like two waterfalls and Vishnal gave him a comforting hug.

"Lady Ventuswill!" Arthur shouted. "Please, do you know where Frey is?!" Arthur asked frantically.

"Margaret took her to the clinic."

"Thank you!" Arthur turned and headed off in the direction of the clinic. He burst through the doors.

"Frey?" He shouted.

"Darling!" She shouted back happily behind the curtain.

"Oh, hello, Arthur!" Nancy said as she poked her head out from behind the curtain. "You're just in time. Please sit tight for now."

"No, no! I want him here with me!" Frey pleaded. "Please!"

"Well, that's not really the protocol…"Jones fussed.

"I'm the PRINCESS, DAMNIT!" She screamed in Jones' face. Her face was flushed and red with determination. She suddenly let out a loud moan of pain.

"Dearest!" Arthur yelled, feeling helpless.

Jones was taken a back. "Nancy?" He asks.

"I think it's fine!" She replied.

She opened the curtain. "Come in Arthur, but just wash your hands in the sink first." She smiled and showed him in. Arthur did as he was told and then joined Frey beside her.

"Dearest, I'm so happy I made it!" He gave her a great big kiss and took a look at her. She looked exhausted and sweaty, but beautiful to him.

"Um, Clorica?" He mentioned as he saw her lying on the other bed.

"That's a long story. I love you, Darling." Frey took a look at Arthur. He looked frazzled and his glasses were slightly cocked to one side. His wind blown hair was sticking up and she reached over to smooth it down. Again, she felt a large wave of tension swallow her and loudly yelled in pain. Arthur swung one arm around her and took both of her hands in his.

"I'm not sure what to do, but I'm right here for you, Dearest! I know you can do this!" He told her.

"Alright, Frey, it's time to push!" Jones tells her at the foot of the bed.

With a newfound strength at her side, Frey bared down with all of her might. She wailed and threw her head back.

"Ok, hold steady…" Jones instructed her. "Ok, push!"

Frey pushed again, this time feeling herself slipping.

"I-I can't anymore…I'm too tired." She panted.

"Dearest, you're almost there! I know you can do it! We'll count together, ready, 1, 2, 3…push!" Arthur squeezed both of her hands as tightly as he could and she groaned loudly into the night.

It was silent for a minute, but then a tiny voice cried out.

"It's a boy!" Jones cheered.

"Our child…is here? You did it, Dearest! I'm so proud of you!" Arthur kissed wife and the top of her head. Frey pushed the hair out of her face and took a deep breath in.

"Yes…" she slightly panted.

Arthur and Frey held their breath. Suddenly, Arthur turned to face Frey, "I'm so sorry I was late. I lost track of time at the palace. I'm so overjoyed I was able to make it to experience this! The first step to becoming a good father is to properly welcome the child into the world."

"Yes, I'm so happy too." Frey softly added.

"Here you are. Congratulations you two." Jones gently handed Frey a small baby bundled in a soft white blanket.

"He's beautiful!" She cried and gently kissed her baby on its forehead.

"Ahh…um, I just don't know what to say. This is all so new to me. But there's one thing I know for sure. I understand how it feels to be a father. And I understand how much this all means." Arthur had tears in his eyes.

"Darling, our baby is so cute!" Frey said happily.

"You did great Dearest. You too…my child."

"What should we name him?" Frey asked.

"I'd like you to name our child, Dearest. I know you'll come up with the perfect one."

"He doesn't need a royal name of any sorts for tradition's sake?"

"No, we can name him whatever we'd like. I've gotten the King's blessing. His only condition is that we bring our child to visit." Arthur smiled at Frey.

"I'd like to name him Noel."

"Ah, what a perfect name." Arthur hugged his wife's shoulders. "Noel, you've got a long, happy life ahead of you. I just know it. We'll make sure you're never, ever sad or lonely!"

"Yes, of course." Frey turned her head and gave her husband a great big kiss.

"Alright, Frey, I need you to give me a slight push to deliver the after birth and then you'll be all done. Frey followed his instructions and soon enough, just like Jones said, it was finally over.

"I recommend you get a lot of rest. You're welcome to stay at the clinic as long as you'd like. Congratulations, you two!" Nancy brought a chair over to Arthur so he could sit beside his new family. Frey happened to look over her shoulder and remember that Clorica was still in the bed next to her. 'How she slept through all my screaming, I'll never know.'

The little family took the next few hours to relax and settle in to their new life. Clorica had woken up finally, and had gotten to see little Noel. Frey profusely apologized about what had happened, but Clorica didn't seem to remember much of it. She only said that she felt very well-rested. Jones gave her the all clear and had eventually gone home. Then, the new parents listened to some advice about feeding the baby from Nancy and tried it our for themselves. Noel latched onto Frey right away and began drinking her milk. She felt like she was exploding with love in her heart, and pretty soon after that, she gave the baby to Arthur and fell asleep. Arthur held little Noel gently in his arms. Nancy and Jones had gone to bed and he found out later that Dolce was spending the night at Margaret's house. So it was just the three of them. Arthur looked back at his sleeping wife and tiptoed to the door of the clinic. He gently opened the door and walked out into the moonlight, holding his new son tightly in his arms. He slowly walked over to the castle, and peeked inside the dragon chamber.

"Psst, Ventuswill…" he whispered. She slowly opened one eye.

"My, my what have you brought me?" She said softly.

"Welcome the newest resident of Selphia, little Noel." Arthur whispered back. The castle was quiet and everyone was asleep. "I just couldn't wait to show you. I'm so proud." Small tears began to fill his eyes.

"I Ventuswill, the Divine Wind, throughly bless this child." She said softly. "Welcome, little Noel."

"Lady Ventuswill, I suppose I need to thank you for all of this. The way you welcomed Frey here, I owe my happiness to you."

"Ah, no need to thank me, Arthur. You created your own happiness. I was just glad to be able to share it with you." Noel slightly fussed.

"Well, I'd better get back, I just couldn't wait to show you." Arthur blushed.

"Congratulations, Prince." She said peacefully and then yawned and rested her head down again.

As Arthur walked back to the clinic, he couldn't help but feel the happiest he had ever been.

THE END :)
