Chapter 18

Optimus drove to an underground cave; and he transformed falling to his hands and knees. He slowly moved to the corner of the cave his optics dull from pain; he was scared I could feel it. It was just like my vision; I wasn't able to stop that vision from happening.

He groaned and curled in on himself; I went to him trying to figure out how to work the bracelet. He had offlined his optics and then onlined them to look at me.

"Y-You are injured; I-I am sorry." he whispered.

"I will be alright; I just need to rest a bit from using my gift like that." I said as his finger moved toward the back of my head and a tiny bit of crimson was on his finger. "That must have happened when I hit my head," I said.

"I-I had seen the weapons; I-I needed to transform. I-I ejected you so you would not be trapped when I transformed. I ended up hurting you anyway, and for that I am deeply sorry." he said as he suddenly purged on the ground.

"I need to figure out how to work this damn bracelet; so, I can start repairing you. You have a long road to recovery." I said as he tried to rest.

"You will need fuel, are you going to be safe if I go to get you some?" I asked.

"Yes, but be careful, they will be looking for you too." he whispered.

"I know I won't go until later. They will be looking for us now; I am worried about the others. Those humans were Cemetery Wind; they were formed by another human named Harold Attinger. He didn't like any Cybertronians not even Autobots; but he had this guy named Joshua Joyce working for him. The place was called KSI and they were building their own Transformers; but they created something they called Galvatron. It turned out Megatron had used KSI for a new body. Wait hold up, they can't have Megatron's head; because you didn't kill him." I said as I thought for a moment.

Megatron wasn't dead; which means they still had a chance to stop a lot of this. It also meant something else; they had a chance to save Cybertron.

"Optimus we need to get Megatron and the others onboard with this as soon as possible, we have a chance to bring back Cybertron with this bracelet. We also have a chance to do a lot more; but we need to get something away from Lockdown." I said.

"Lockdown...?" Optimus whispered agony laced his voice so strongly.

"The bounty hunter and also don't listen to him when he says you were built not created; he was up to something and I won't let him bring you down like that. I have got to get word to Kara, Chelsea and Tina about what's happened something isn't right; and I am afraid about what else is going to be dreadfully wrong now." I said as I ran my hand over his face.

Then I remembered something I had my cell phone; and being down here underground the signal would be masked. Then I wondered if I would get a signal for the cell period because of that; and suddenly I heard something.

Try...

I bit my bottom lip and glanced over at Optimus; he looked like he fell into recharge; but he had a pained look on his face plates. I dialed Kara's cell phone; and prayed this worked the others had to be warned.

(Normal POV)

Autobot/NEST base...

Kara was sitting in Bumblebee still when she heard her cell phone ring; and she saw it was Kathy calling her.

"Hey girl, what's up? How's it going with boss bot? Huh?" Kara said her voice getting slightly panicky after.

"Kara, listen to me you have to warn the other Autobots and NEST Cemetery is striking now; they attacked Optimus and he is badly damaged. I am with him and will take care of him; but the others will be targets you have to get Chelsea and Tina and the others warn them." Kathy replied as she glanced back at Optimus checking on him.

"How is Optimus?" Kara asked.

"He is hurt badly, Kara, he scanned that rusted beat up cab look like in Age of extinction." Kathy said as Kara bit her bottom lip.

Kara felt that edge of panic rise within her body; and Bumblebee felt it too.

"Kara, you and the others have to find Megatron and warn him and the Decepticons too," Kathy said.

"What, why...?" Kara asked shocked.

"We have a chance to bring back their home; I think I figured it out what Vector was getting at. We have to do this; and I know it will take time but we've to try." Kathy said urgently.

"Alright, you take care of Optimus we will do what needs to be done." Kara replied.

"I will, stay safe." Kathy said.

"You too," Kara stated.

"Watch your backs," Kathy replied.

"You too," Kara said as they hung up.

"What happened? I felt your blood pressure spike rather high for a human, you seem very upset, Kara." Bumblebee said.

"That was Kathy, she and Optimus were attacked and Optimus was wounded very badly." Kara explained.

Silence...

"By who...?" Bee asked.

"Cemetery Wind, we have to warn the others and be on alert." Kara said as they headed back to the main part of the base where they found the others.

Kara explained everything to everyone including Charlotte Mearing and General Morshower; Mearing got on the phone and was fuming about the attack on Optimus Prime.

"Mearing the one pulling the strings is a guy named Harold Attinger..." Chelsea started to say until gun fire broke out and bullets hit Mearing and Morshower as Chelsea screamed and Jolt transformed and grabbed her transforming all around her to protect her.

Sideswipe did the same protecting Tina; as Kara dove into Bumblebee. Lennox and the others had their guns up and ready.

"Show yourselves, now!" Lennox ordered as out walked Galloway, Bandacheck, and soldiers no one had seen before with pointed at the Autobots and NEST!

:::::::::... Ironhide if what Kathy said is true we need to reach Megatron and rally them along with the rest of the Autobots...:::::::: Ratchet said through commlinks as he got Sam and Mikaela safely within his vehicle form.

"Ironhide get out of here, hurry!" Lennox yelled.

"I do not like leaving my charge or my friend," Ironhide growled as Lennox was hit with a bullet.

"Get out of here...!" Lennox shouted. "All of you hurry, we'll hold them off!" Lennox yelled as Mudflap and Skids transformed.

"Go Hide, we got this; go man!" Skids yelled at the others on their team.

"Optimus would be proud of both of you," Ironhide said as he transformed and led the other Autobots away from the battle.

"You idiots, get them!" Galloway ordered.

"Savoy didn't get Optimus Prime so that isn't going to set too well with Attinger." Bandacheck remarked sourly.

"We'll find him and the girl; take care of these loose ends." Galloway said as Lennox aimed and fired at Galloway hitting his side.

Lennox fired again only this time he was hit again by someone else who walked out of the shadows, he was hit Harold Attinger.
