ANGST. be warned. although I don't think its too bad. All characters belong to SM.

Do you need, do you need someone?
Are you scared of what's to come?
If you leave then who will the next one be?
Will he do the same or will he let you see?

You don't have to hurt
You don't have to hurt anymore
With a little time, take a look and find what you're searching for

You are broken on the floor
And you're crying, crying
He has done this all before
But you're lying, lying
To yourself that he'll find help
That he will change to someone else
But you're broken on the floor
Still asking him for more

Will you leave, or will you carry on?
Is your love from before still strong?
If you leave, will you keep the memory?
That made the night so long, the cut so deep?

But you don't have to hurt
You don't have to hurt anymore
With a little time, take a look and find what you're searching for

You are broken on the floor
And you're crying, crying
He has done this all before
But you're lying, lying
To yourself that he'll find help
That he will change to someone else
But you're broken on the floor
Still asking him for more

Asking him for more

(Ooh-ooh ooh, Ooh-ooh ooh, Ooh-ooh ooh)
Asking him for more

You are broken on the floor
And you're crying, crying
He has done this all before
But you're lying, lying
To yourself that he'll find help
That he will change to someone else
But you're broken on the floor
Still asking him for more

Asking him for more
More
Still asking him
For more

Broken Isak Danielson

Leah stretched her arms above her head as she peered around the empty room. Jacob's scent had started to go stale and Leah tried to push down the pang of disappointment in her chest. Deciding not to brood over it, she dressed and snuck out the back door of the Black's house. The walk back home had Leah trying to make a decent justification for Jacob's long absence.

I'm sure it's nothing. He's probably on his way home now.

Seth didn't even stop shoving his spoonful of cereal to greet her as she entered the house. Leah pulled a chair up next to him before swiping the bowl out of his hands and into her own. Seth's mouth hung open comically while his brain processed what had just happened.

"Hey!" he exclaimed while making a move to steal it back. The siblings began to slap each other's hands away from the ceramic bowl before being interrupted by the loud chirping of Seth's phone.

Leah assumed it was one of the many girls panting after he younger brother and smirked before devouring the rest of the food. However, when she looked back over she noticed a frown had passed over his face.

"Seth?" She asked before standing and snatching the phone from his hands.

We have visitors north east end of res. Where is black?

Seth looked at her questioningly. She sighed before shaking her head and responding.

Imprint duties. We got it.

Tossing the phone on the counter, Leah turned to her brother. Seth forced a half smile at Leah before following her out the door. As soon as their feet hit the grass, fur exploded, and they were racing to the edge of the res. The stench of vampire was strong and it was easily tracked.

"Smell that? They're close."

Leah nodded her head before pushing her body faster. She wanted to get there before her baby brother could do something idiotic. It took no time to reach them. With a flicker of an ear Leah was able to pinpoint the voices floating through the trees.

"Those damn dirty mutts. They're everywhere. "

A low growl broke from her throat before she charged through the trees into the clearing. There was the coven of vampires, two blonde females and a male . A quick survey told her the three were alone and they obviously had no experience with her kind. They hadn't even realized the thundering of paws were those of their natural enemy.

Leah used the power of her back end to launch at the female closest to her. Gripping the shoulder with her jaws, she tore and shredded. She felt Seth behind her ramming into the male and other female of the coven. When the head had finally detached from the shoulders, Leah rounded on the others. Seth had the male by the throat as he twisted and turned his head back and forth. When she was sure he had the upper hand Leah ran at the final enemy. Just as she was about to make her move, an ice-cold hand wrapped around the base of her tail and tugged. Hard. Leah's nails couldn't make purchase on the forest floor and her body was flung across the clearing sending her spiralling into a tall pine. She scrambled to get her legs under her but was slammed into the ground again from above. A set of arms were around her front shoulders and another pair were scrambling to grab her kicking back legs.

"LEAH!"

She could see herself through Seth's mind. The female had her back end, but a fourth vampire had appeared unnoticed during the fight and obviously hid until the time was right. She growled and snapped at air. Bucking and thrashing her body to try and dislodge them. There was a moment in time where the blonde's grip slipped, and she was able to kick her back. The victory had been short lived however. The male tightened his grip before digging his knife-like nails into her. His middle and index finger pushed into her flesh between her ribs like butter. She felt the puncture of her lung immediately. The burning rush of blood filled her chest before she could gasp a lung of air. Leah twisted in his arms only resulting in another bone crushing hold this time breaking her front shoulder and a punch to the muzzle which left her dizzy.

"Leah! Hold on! Where the fuck is Jacob damn it ?!. Where is he!? Leah please hold on I'm coming."

Before she could reassure her brother, an added weight pushed Leah into the damp soil. A boot coming down hard on her front right paw, crunching the bone under the force. Cold hands grabbed her scruff ripping at the skin before dragging her backwards. He had dragged her into the middle of the clearing, leaving a trail of blood behind her. He tossed her a few feet away before the female was pouncing on her. She felt the last remaining bit of air leave her before the body above hers was ripped off. Giving her an opening, she turned grabbing the face of the female and ripping. She grabbed anything she could and tore. Leaving one enemy left. She saw Seth struggling to bat him away. Leah used the last amount of strength to grab onto the male and decapitate his head.

"Leah! Leah?!"

Taking in one last gargling breath, Leah felt the adrenaline pulse through her for a split second before her eyes rolled into the back of her head and then it was black.

Pain was the first thing Leah became aware of. Excruciating pain. The second thing was the hushed voices whispering around her

" Where the fuck was he?"

"Sam calm down."

"Fuck you Carlisle. Where was he! He is the Alpha and he was nowhere to be found."

"Samuel, I know you are upset. Rightfully so. But Please I cannot concentrate on Leah with you here in this state"

Leah hummed in the back of her throat before squinting her eyes open. Carlisle stood above her, peering down with a grimace on his face. Shifting her eyes to the left she spotted Sam standing next to her. His arms crossed, and a frown painted on his face. His eyes dropped down to meet hers before widening in relief. He quickly shrunk down into a crouch and stroked her brow.

"Oh, Lee lee" He sobbed while pushing her hair back away from her damp forehead.

Leah smiled gently at him before focusing on Carlisle. Her throat burned, and it took her a few tries to get the words out.

"Hi Dr. Fang." She rasped "how's it hanging?"

Carlisle's face lifted slightly before grabbing the chair and gracefully sinking into it. "It could be better Miss clearwater" Leah rolled her eyes playfully

"You had some very serious injuries. Your shoulder has been set as has your hand. The sutures in your neck seem to be holding and we were able to repair the puncture in your lung. It was struggling to repair itself in time."

"Sutures?" She asked confused. She had always healed just as rapidly as the others. Why would she need sutures?

"It appears the male had an odd ability. Our venom flowed through his fingertips under his nail beds. Leaving your body open to an easier attack than most. You're very, very lucky we were able to clear the toxins out of your system when we did."

Leah scoffed to herself "Of course he did. Why not make him just a run of the mill vamp." She rolled her eyes before settling in the pillow again.

Carlisle patted her leg gently before standing. Nodding at Sam and the rest of the pack who had crammed into her room, he made his exit. The pack all fawned over her, each reassuring themselves that she was fine. Leah grew uncomfortable under all of the attention and cleared her throat. Just as she was about to send them home the room broke out in growls. The sound made her feel like she was vibrating with the anger.

"He's here." Sam snarled before bursting through the doorway back towards the entrance of the house.

She could hear Sam phase, followed by Jared and Paul.

" Easy! Easy! I just want to see her Sam." His timbre voice quieted the rest of the wolves in her room as they all waited in anticipation,

Sam snapped and snarled in response.

" Sam! Enough." Jacob exclaimed. Leah heard the pause and the silence before his boots echoed through the front hallway. She could smell him. The scent that would have once calmed her aching heart now broke it. Turning around the corner, his massive frame took up the entire space of the door way. His eyes scanned the room before landing on her and his face lost its colour.

"Oh God. Lee." He whispered before attempting to take a step in. Seth blocked him immediately not allowing him any closer.

"Seth move." He ordered. Leah observed his brother tremble, fighting the command before his body gave in. Just as he was about to step aside Leah felt the words work their way up her throat.

"No Seth. Stay" Seth's head whipped around to her in shock as his movement immediately ceased. Jacob looked at her with disbelief before trying to move around her brother.

"No." His movement paused before he tried again.

"NO."

"Leah? " Jacob's voice broke. Leah couldn't be sure if it was the command behind her voice or the words, but it was enough pause to give her the opening she needed. She knew if Jacob came to her and held her, her heart would try and repair itself. He would talk her into trying again. Into giving him another chance. She would be his doormat again. She would suffer for him and his bond. Again.

"No Jacob. No. You weren't here. You weren't here when we needed you. I needed you and you were gone."

"Nessie-"

"NO!"

Jacob looked at her like she had slapped him. She could feel the apology on her tongue, but she knew it was time. She had trusted him against her better judgment. She had let him in and gave him the power to destroy her. He had taken it and used it against her.

"I know you have an excuse. You always do Jacob. I know that, and I am sure it is a reasonable one. I'm sure you could justify it. Just like you did during the new born war. You planned to run with her then too. You were going to leave us behind no matter what the consequences were. Because at the end of the day nothing and no one will hold a candle to your Reneseme. Or your Bella."

She took a deep breath before locking eyes with her Alpha.

"You are not the leader we need. You are not the Alpha we need, and you are not the man I deserve. This is over. We are over. I will never again let you do this to me. I could have died for your selfishness and I was ready to accept that. But even worse Seth could have. Or Embry or Collin. You put us at risk. For her. One life for dozens. That is something I cannot forgive.

"Leah. Lee. Please" She watched as his Adams apple bobbed, and tears filled his eyes. His jaw quivered, and his brow furrowed. He looked devastated. His heartbreak obvious. He looked exactly how she felt.

Taking a deep breath, she gave it everything in her to make it clear.

"I don't want to see you near me again until I am healed. Then we are nothing but fellow wolves. I am going back to Sam. I am out of your pack and you are out of my life Jacob Black."

Jacob's knees buckled as sobs shook his massive frame.

"Embry, Quil please get him out of here' A single tear rolled down her cheek as she watched his best friends lift him to his feet and steer him out. She could hear is cries from the hall then out the front door.

One word broke through the howls.

"Leah."
