A few minutes later…
Ryuji bring both Keiko and Mallory into a beef bowl shop in Shibuya, sat down and order 3 beef bowls for themselves and as they waited for their meals to be ready, both Keiko and Mallory explain and told Ryuji about their pasts.
"WHAT!? The hell! How much shittier can that asshole be!?" yelled Ryuji in a loud, shock then angry tone of voice after he heard the part on how both Keiko and Mallory got criminal records.
"I couldn't agree more with you about that asshole, Sakamoto." said Mallory as she nodded in agreement with Ryuji.
"It's fine, Maly. And also, calm down, Sakamoto-kun. It's all in the past now." said Keiko calmly and firmly to both Mallory and Ryuji before a waiter came with their beef bowls, put their beef bowls down in front of them and they began eating.
"Are you for real, Amamiya? If it was me, I wouldn't calm down until I punched that dick in his face. And so… you 2 left your hometown, and you 2 are livin' here now, huh?" asked Ryuji rhetorically to both Keiko and Mallory.
"Yes, that's right." replied Keiko as she and Mallory nodded at Ryuji.
"You know, after hearing about yours and Caelum's past, the 3 of us might be more alike than I originally thought, Amamiya." said Ryuji.
"And exactly what do you mean by that, Sakamoto-kun? What did you do?" asked Keiko curiously to Ryuji.
"Yeah, mind telling us about it?" said Mallory curiously to Ryuji as well.
"Hey, you and your friend don't have to call me Sakamoto or Sakamoto-kun all the time, Amamiya. You 2 can just call me Ryuji and in return I'll call you 2 by your first names. And I don't got records like you 2 did. I mean, that's not the point." replied Ryuji as he frowned at Keiko.
"Then what's your point, Ryuji?" asked Mallory in slight irritation at Ryuji.
"I think what Ryuji-kun mean is that how we're treated like useless hindrances or pain in the ass by the other people around us, like we don't have a place to belong, Maly." replied Keiko.
"Yup, exactly like you said, Keiko." said Ryuji as he nodded at Keiko.
"I see. Is that so?" said Mallory as she ate 2 mouthful of her beef bowl dish.
"So, is that all you wanted to tell us, Ryuji-kun?" asked Keiko.
"Uh no because there's more I wanted to tell you and Mallory. You 2 see, I did something stupid at school before, too." replied Ryuji before he trailed off into silence.
"Like what, Ryuji-kun?" asked Keiko curiously to Ryuji (who didn't answer her question before he quickly finish his beef bowl dish).
"Anyway, the place that you 2 are livin' now is in… Yongen-Jaya, right?" said Ryuji as he glance at both Keiko and Mallory.
"Yeah. Why do you ask?" said Mallory in confusion to Ryuji.
"Because it's rush hour on the subways now. How about we kill some more time here before headin' home?" suggested Ryuji before he noticed the lack of meats on Keiko and Mallory beef bowls. "What the hell, girls. You 2 don't have any meats on your bowls." added Ryuji in disbelief to both Keiko and Mallory before he open a black container with meats inside and he helped put meats onto their beef bowls.
"What're you doing, Ryuji?" said Keiko in confusion at Ryuji.
"Yeah, there's no need for you to do that." said Mallory as she shake her head at Ryuji.
"Just lemme do it, Keiko. I gotta thank you and Mallory for helpin' me. Anyways, I've got both your backs like you 2 got mine from tomorrow on. As long as we do something about Kamoshida, I'm sure we'll feel better about bein' at school." said Ryuji reassuringly to them.
"If you say so, Ryuji." said Mallory as she took 2 mouthfuls of her beef bowl.
"Oh yeah!" said Ryuji as he suddenly remember something before he take out his smartphone from his pants pocket. "Both of you tell me your numbers and chat ID too." asked Ryuji as he glance at both Keiko and Mallory.
"Sure, Ryuji-kun." said Keiko as she nodded at Ryuji before she and Mallory take out their phones and exchange their numbers and chat ID with Ryuji.
"Just you wait, Kamoshida… We're gonna start right away tomorrow. First, let's hit up those guys that were kept as slaves." suggested Ryuji determinedly to them.
"Are you sure, Ryuji? What if they're the same like those poor abused slaves we saw in the castle and refused to say anything to us because they feared Kamoshida?" said Mallory unsurely to Ryuji.
"We still gotta try, Mallory. The volleyball's rally tomorrow, yeah? Shit's recommended by Kamoshida, makes me wanna gag my guts out. But thanks to that, we got no classes in the afternoon, and we can walk around unnoticed." said Ryuji as he put his phone back into his pocket.
"Really? In that case, it just might work for us, Maly." said Keiko.
"Very well then, Keiko." said Mallory in reluctant agreement with Keiko.
"Great. Well then, I guess we can work out the details tomorrow…" said Ryuji before he opened the container to put more meats onto Keiko and Mallory's beef bowls.
"Again? Are you trying to turned us into carnivores, Ryuji-kun?" thought Keiko in slight exasperation at Ryuji putting more meats onto hers and Mallory's beef bowls and once Ryuji's done in putting meats onto their beef bowls, both Keiko and Mallory swiftly finish their beef bowls before they and Ryuji pay for their meals, left Shibuya, bade farewell to Ryuji before they split up, went toward and into different stations and both Keiko and Mallory waited with the other passengers for their train to arrive, unaware that they caught the attention of a certain detective guy standing against the wall behind them.
"Hm, that girl…" thought Goro as he glance curiously at Keiko before his wayward thought got interrupted by the voice of another guy.
"Got you your favorite chocolate cupcakes from the bakery in this station so here you go, Akechi." said Akira as he hold out a plastic bag of cupcakes at Goro.
"Thanks, Kurusu." said Goro as he glance and smiled politely at Akira while he take the plastic bag of cupcakes from him.
"You're welcome. Also, I noticed that you're staring at something or someone a few seconds ago so what or who is it that caught your interest?" asked Akira curiously to Goro before he followed Goro's line of sight and saw both Keiko and Mallory standing inside the train. "Ah, I get it now. It's quite rare to see you be interested in girls since you normally ignored or avoided your fangirls like the plague, Akechi. So which of those 2 girls…" added Akira teasingly to Goro.
"None of your business so ceased that pointless thinking and talking of yours about girls, Kurusu." said Goro bluntly at Akira.
"Fine, whatever you say, Akechi." sighed Akira as he rolled his eyes at Goro's bluntness before he glance back at the 2 girls, especially on Mallory. "Hm, they're both quite the pretty-looking girls but the one with silver eyes and long red hair caught my interest. I wonder if I'll see her next time?" thought Akira as he kept on staring at Mallory until the train doors closed up before the train leave the station.
