CH. 18

A/N: Well guys, here we are. It is the finale! Are you ready? I want to thank the time out to thank every single one of you who have read this story and stuck by me from the beginning of this journey. You have no idea what it means to me. I really do not want to take up too much of anybody's time with this one. As always, I do not/have not/ nor, will I ever own the rights to Welcome Back, Kotter any of the characters and themes. For the last time, Eva Jhene Morris my little wild child, is my mine and I am so proud that she is mine. Now for the las time, Deliver Him from Eva.

Three days after Freddie met up with Eva at the diner, he is roaming Grand Central Station. The bad case of Déjà vu is not lost on him. The feeling is not the same as when Verna Jean left him here, but it is close. Today is the day Eva leaves New York for Paris. Once she gets on that train to the airport, he will never see her again. Freddie really had to think about showing up. It felt weird. They did not talk for three months, yet here he is ready to see her off. It did not feel right, but he would feel horrible if he did not. Freddie reaches Eva just as she is being hugged by one of her roommates.

"I packed your clothes, there is snacks in your carry on, and I left a book of numbers that you can reach us at. Please call as soon as you get to Paris. That way we know you are okay." Sharee listed off. "I'll be fine. Thanks for looking out for me." Eva cries. "Eva." Freddie calls out softly. Eva turns to him smiling. "Freddie! You actually came!" Eva cries as she races to him. Freddie catches her and they embrace. "Of course. I could not live with myself if I didn't say goodbye to you. I am going to miss you and I am sorry we didn't work out." Freddie apologized.

"It's okay. Not everything great lasts." Eva shrugged. Their time together was passionate, wild, unpredictable, and fun. Now, all that was about to be over. Eva moves herself out of Freddie's arms as they call for her train. Eva engulfs her friends into a hug. Eva is the kind of girl that you meet every so often. She will not stay there permanently; it goes her against her nature. She comes into your life like a storm, then leaves it like a rainbow. Freddie will never forget the times he had with her. No matter how crazy they were. Eva gets on her train and Freddie feels his eyes well up with tears.

"Bye." Eva waves before the train speeds by. Just like she is gone and Freddie's all alone again. "Freddie?" A familiar voice call to him. He turns around in surprise. She is standing there. "Verna?" Freddie gasps.

THE END.

A/N: And there it is. So, allow me to introduce myself, I am Bambi and I wrote this little fic. Were done folks and I am sad now. I have loved and I am immensely proud of every moment in this story. Thank you so much for reading, for following, favoriting, and just being great and understanding readers. A bit of a special shout out to Choo. Choo. Kendricks. Thank you for the reviews and the encouragement. Our PM's have gotten me through so much of this process. You are amazing. As for that cliffhanger, would any of you be interested in a post DHFE story? I thought about doing a sequel to this. I really don't know guys. If you are interested in any of my works I have a Juan x OC story, a Vinnie x OC story, I have Horshack x OC story coming down the pipe soon, I have a Rosalie x Vinnie story coming soon, and I am also going to do a Verna Jean in South Carolina story. After that, I will more than likely be done with Welcome Back, Kotter. So, be on the lookout for that. To Eva Jhene Morris, I love you and you are a pleasure to right. Eva's Fc is Jhene Aiko for those interested. Lastly, thank you. I am honored that I got to write such a cool and different story. That is all for Eva and I. So, until my Horshack story comes out, this is where I leave you. Goodbye and thank you for everything.
